Episode 1

It's been a long time since that day of survival end and the only thing to put an end is seal back to hell along with him, a blue haired teenager boy had no choice because he cares for his world. Hurt to say goodbye at them but he promises that he will come back someday.

Another normal day has coming and they had no news about his return, it would be bad that they won't meet him forever until a certain console called COMP's is beeping come along with a mail, the words that mainly their joy of happiness.

The return of that guy also their friend is coming back home, for some reason the white-haired guy standing there with upset looking when he sees two angelic wings figure flying up to the sky.

Reaching up at home, he stumbles upon the white guy before standing there leaning on the fence. "Oh Naoya, didn't see you there, I was hoping that I will be visiting you tomorrow "Big Bro"" Says the bluenette passing by at him and saying that when he opens the fence door.

"Atsuro and Yuzu told my parents that I'm with you, you made believable right?"

"You're twisted"

"Well I'm your "favorite" cousin" He joked at the middle part when he said "favorite", truthfully, it's his first time saying that and it feel good for him, "You admit defeat right?"

"Yeah but only for now, who knows that will be happened in the future" A reply come up from him and he continue saying at him. "As long the main source is deep inside you it is possible that will be re-awaken when you are still alive."

That's the word of him that he makes him smile reminiscing about those two figures before right at the park, yet he still on the word that he repeats it until now. "I'll say it one time and I'm going to repeat it as I have to, what I want is nothing to bout change at all" his reply when he about to open the front door and turning his view at him.

Two years prior

Now it's time for him to go to college, he didn't forget that time sure fly by but he never forget an old friend of his until now, it's pretty surprising to hear when his friend named Atsuro is married right now and it's the most happiest day for him and his friend he married to his best friend who also a friend of him named Yuzu who also called Yoohoo based on what Atsuro called back when they go to school together.

Truthfully he felt happy and excited to see them happy together and he had an enrollment to some university, he also got a girlfriend named Mami Nanami, quite coincidence that how they two met at Yuzu and Atsuro wedding event. Mami a blonde haired girl who had known Yuzu since she had same class in junior high school. And thus they have a quite romantic relationship until three months later she decide to breaking up with him because she had seeing someone during that free time of her or something that behind his back.

He thought that his heart got tear up because of that but he easily move on and accept the whole separation, but for some reason he rather feel lonely even though he still had family but he's been living alone since the enrollment, he decide to start doing project of his when at home during his free time as a programmer and manga artist just like his cousin since he ask for the teaching from him except the second one because of his hobby, noticing that ads popping out from his phone and this one is intrigue him.

For a first time that he read on his phone is a promo about renting a girlfriend, lately it's popular amongst the single teenager especially boy who felt lonely or want some fake relationship, and the price is quite hefty but he pay no mind as long if it fills his blank heart but that doesn't mean he desperate to find love, just find some companion to talk about or maybe other things.

While waiting on her to come, he usually standing there with his cat shaped headphone while he listens to some songs in his music player.

"Black shirt with cat headphones…" A voice came out nowhere, but he knows that tone pitch is a girl's voice, when he looks up, he just smiling at the girl wearing flower blouse along with cyan vest as she makes a cute pose.

"You must be Kazuya Minegishi, right?" Says the stranger girl who come and asking the name to see if she finds the right person. He just still smiling at her and nod his head as a yes answer.

And so, they are walking together at the café, noticing the girl read the menu upside down which makes him shout out a soft chuckle, he begins to order a cup of iced tea while wait for him.

"Umm, would you mind?" Says the girl who politely gesturing at him about the payment, yet he halts his hand, "Wait for the order came up then I can pay up the rent" To which he replied while he raising his hand wanting to order something.

"Ah, my apologies for manner of me" She also reply politely as well and she wait for order to come, when they done having a nice feast, he give her for about forty thousand yen and so the rental begin.

Not going to lie about it having fake date is the best things when they got lucky for the fake girlfriend is pretty, yet for him… his heart still feel blank and he tried to walk away, but since the time is not really end and so they walking around the street and reach the station as part of final destination.

Even the handholding is part of it yet his heart didn't even swoon away, separated away from her he begin to browsing through the web with his phone unexpectedly about the review from the customers, he only making a small smirk on how easy they are but he best to ignoring it.

Reaching at his apartment, his notifications about the rent girlfriend rating that he use, honestly they put five stars at them, no hesitate at all he put only two stars with at least an honest comment, they might think it's very immature comment but for him it's very sufficient that he mention on saying she was good but not good to make me fun.

Closing his phone, he looks at the bank account see how much money he loses, lucky that he only waste sixty thousand yen and only use twenty for rent and decent food of his living from five hundred thousand yen.

Next day coming and he use it again and the same girl he reserves, he also remembers the memory of his father said to save his money and he keep it to himself.

Not only that her request to pay up comes in his mind and this time he nods his head and give another forty yet his glance not at her but outside the café.

"Umm you okay?" Asking the rent girl who look curiously at him and he take a quick glance at her, unnoticed a beet red came from her cheeks while he shakes his hand gesturing that he's alright.

"Shall we go?" His soft word makes her stand up stiffly that also makes him laugh and so they continue to do fake dating, at first it was a good thing yet sadly the situations is bad when they reach at aquarium, she also talking about the fish and lovely topic which is he know that she read the review.

"Could you please drop the act and keep going?" his words who surprise the people around while the girl glancing at her with confused look, for a second he feel a bit dazed when the presence of him going to the aquarium, yet within a second he starting to coming back to reality once he relief himself with his head shaking a bit.

"Sorry, just… let's keep moving- "only with his hand holding while she drags him away from the commotion, reaching at the, reaching at the emergency exit her true color has been open revealing at him.

"Look, what is wrong with you? Are you really that dense?! Saying it like that in public place… way to spot their eyes at us! What is exactly your problem?! That day you just say nothing and just glancing like a bunch of awkward couple" She start to rant at him while he just standing there blinking and not any words came out from him. And she keeps ranting and talk about rental girlfriend's work. She also pointing at his jaw and continue to rant about his request and about the agreement.

"And also, why give me two-star review?! Did I do wrong on our date?!"

"Actually, you are doing great" his small words finally came out as she beginning to stop talk. "You really are doing great on make fake date, but it did not make me feel good at all"

"Ever since that my review is getting down to whole 0.3 points, do you understand! Before I only had five-star reviews based on them." And she keep continue to rant about her job things about rent girlfriend, he get it that job is like that but also satisfy the customer is important also, but you know it work out right now for him.

"Could you not get in the way of my work? I can't believe you! It sucks, guess I'm getting another two stars review"

"But it better than getting one review though" He begin to make small jokes which is also piss her even more. "So, what now? Do you want to continue? I'll tag along if you want to keep going." And so, his phone start ringing. But when answer the call his mood became even down more as he is looking in sadness.

"I have to go to Hospital; my grandmother is having sickness and collapse… I have to go now" and so he begins to leave its place while she tries to talk to him, unaware that he will listen to it, then she is following him from behind.

Hospital

Rushing forwards towards patient room, he slides the door open and continue to run until he sees his grandmother sitting on the bed with IV needle on her left hand.

"Grandma, you okay" Says Kazuya who look worried about her while she brushed it off like it was nothing, "It's not a big deal. I only fainted."

"We worried of course mother; your health is most important for us!" says Kazuya's mother who also look worried about her same as her husband. Yet quite shocking when his grandmother asks about the Wi-Fi which make him smile in nervous.

Unexpected that the white-haired boy also came and bring a plastic bag filled with fruits. "Grandmother, here's the fruit for you, Hi Lil bro" he said and greet as well on Kazuya while he nods his head.

"Big bro, how's the work?"

"Tiring but I'll manage it, and who's that girl next to you Kazuya?" He is asking about the girl next to him which is surprising her even the family of him.

"I bring her in cause she's with Kazuya, mother. Are you his classmate from college?"

She begins to stutter when she said it to her and the last word his mother said become dowry for them, for his cousin he just standing there and beginning to leave the room, not even a small conversation between families.

"No way dear. This is Kazuya we're talking about."

"Right… It's Kazuya" Their words almost tore his heart but what can he say, it's very true to the bottom. When his grandma calling him, he just taking a lot of deep breath gathering his bravery and begin to say the truth.

"She's my- "

"I'm his girlfriend" She begin to stand up and announce it to them, which is shocking at them, even for Kazuya who about to tell that she's a friend of him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Chizuru Mizuhara" her dazzling smile and cute voice make his parents cold in shocker while Kazuya just stare blankly.

"My apologies for not introduce myself under such circumstances, but I also glad to meet you all nonetheless."

"Get me Discharged!!" all sudden their eyes looking at Kazuya's grandma surprisingly hearing that.

"We have to go home and prepare for party immediately!"

"Mother don't be absurd" and so the commotion begins inside patient room while the brunette who named Chizuru stand in there in confuse and embarrassed when his grandmother said hale and hottie girl.

Seeing her cry also make him smile in warming way, the only too make her happy at least even that he has to lie about it, his parents asking him to look for his grandma for a short time while they looking for a snack, yet she starting to walk around leaving the patient room saying that she want to meet her friend.

"Glad that escalated quickly" she said along with sigh coming out, when he just standing there watching the scene outside the window.

"Thanks" his word came out from him while he didn't make an eye contact on her, he try to manage the situation by saying she's his friend from college but making them happy is kind of unexpected thing.

"No problem, it's what rental girlfriend do… Anyway, we have to go now" She about to stand up when saying that and walking towards the door.

"Something wrong?"

"Well it's- "

"Your grandma is here right?" Making a conclusion from him create a quite surprise for her that his answer is also the correct one.

"Anyway, we have to go now" she said as she about to walking away from the door, yet he just standing there staring at the bed where his grandma taking her sick rest in here.

"Kazuya, you didn't listen to me?!"

"It's here" his face became serious one as he begins to stand up giving a quite confusion from her.

"What do you mean by that- " Her hand being grabbing by him, pushing her out from the room and locking it within a second. His breathing becoming thin during these situations, his eyes darted on certain bed where his grandmother sleeping at, a form of creature with green colored skin holding a piece of cleaver on its right hand.

"Well look what I got here, a foolish human who willing taking its own life for my filling" Says the monster with deep voice of tone as it walk closer to him, that creature make a heavy slash right towards him yet he easily dodging those attack. Yet he can't even underestimate for the size of him that creature can be fast and so he keep dodging while it keep attacking him.

The fight not for so long when he's being cornered at the window in the hospital, he already think about jumping out from window or just dodge the last attack but it might make a bad news about the place and he didn't want it.

"Play cat and mouse is over fool, now you will be in my belly now. DIE!!!" And so it make last attempt to cut him up, that creature thinking that they have won but clearly beyond his perish.

-Play An Empty Tome-

Both of his hand clearly blocking the view of his and also holding off the clash, yet it still hurt since the price of protecting himself might hurt him.

Slowly he pushing upwards and give a nice punch right in the belly of those creature making a huge impact on the wall of the hospital.

"Hrrgh…. Why won't you die puny human!!!" They clearly gone mad and rushing forwards and make another slash, Kazuya on the other hand just holding its neck and throwing it away from the room via the window when he had chance to opening it.

Clearly that creature is in the sky and about to recover but not on his sight, he grabbing its face tightly while they flying as his eyes glaring at him.

"J…just how did you even defeat me, you're nothing to me human…. No, this power. Please have mercy-"

" Agi" A single word coming from him and a flicker of flame coming from his hand torching the monster into an ash, his mad showing that he had no time to let that creature go around.

Avoid any notice from the patient seeing him in the air, he immediately going back to the room and unlocking the door.

Meanwhile

"Kazuya, open the door what are you doing in there?" Says Chizuru who knock on the door asking him to open up but no respond coming from him, she keep knocking and knocking the door until she hear a sound of something cracking which makes her taking by surprise.

She getting worry even though he's just a client of her but seeing something wrong about it might be her nightmarish moment, she keep turning the knob and still not budging at all.

She turn her head on her left and seeing that Kazuya's grandmother coming along with the friend who've been charged on the same room, and apparently her friend also her grandmother, she about talk something with them until she hear a door knob being turned and she opening the door.

Seeing that Kazuya standing there blankly at the window, she can't help but feeling that her heart thumping hard when he take a look behind. She really starting to regret it but she start shaking her head to erase those memory, making a nice conversation with her grandmother and also his.

Taking them about half an hour they finally making themselves out from there and walking together at this night. She still have something to talk about and now's the time to explain it from him.

"Kazuya, what are you doing there that makes me have to leave the room in the first place" No respond coming from him when she asking him some question, only some walk and silence

"Kazuya-"

"It's best for you to not knowing those Chizuru, it's for the best."
