Atlas tries to attack the Republic before they can mobilize but it doesn't go well.

Somewhere outside of Atlas City

Atlas Troopers armed with Assault Rifles prepared to attack the Republic and the Rebels before they can mobilize against them, unfortunately they have no idea what they got themselves into. "Okay well let's sniper those Republic and Rebels, then we press on against them", but suddenly the sound tremors interrupts them before the Atlas Trooper with the Sniper Rifle can take the shot.

"What's that?" Harriet Bree of the Ace Ops ask as the tremors gets closer to where they are standing

When they turn to see where it's coming from it turns out to be a stomping AT-AT Walker alongside AT-XT and AT-TE Walkers, Atlas Troopers quickly open fire at the AT-AT Walker that's on the lead but their bullets are useless against the AT-AT's heavy armor.

"That armor is too strong, run for it!" Winter implies they should fall back, even the Ace Ops agrees that they should fall back.

Just as they were fleeing most of the Atlas Troopers are gunned down by Clone Troopers of the 501st and 212th Legion plus those in Clone Cold Assault Trooper Armor armed with DC-15A Blaster Rifles, DC-15S Carbines and DC-17 Hand Blasters while the AT-AT Walker alongside AT-XT and AT-TE Walkers play a part of doing the same too. "Keep running!" Winter said as they try to make it back into their Armored Trucks and their Dropships but ended up getting blown up by the AT-AT Walkers and LAAT Gunships.

"I guess we run back to Atlas City", Vine Zeki said to Winter who nodded her head that will run back to Atlas.

"Sister", while Winter was running she did caught a sight of her younger sister Weiss who was aiming her Sword at her.

After that Battle

Team RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, SSSN and the others watch as Republic Forces prepares for the upcoming battle, they already met with Republic Supreme Leader Hakaze Kusaribe and the rest of the gang, also many of the Clone Troopers and Clone Cold Assault Troopers keep watch of their Atlas POWs who got left behind and surrendered to them. "You know what, I'm kind of fascinated by the Republic Armed Forces", Qrow said drinking whatever he always drink.

"They did show us the Armed Forces of the CIS too you know", Raven Branwen said to her before swiping his bottle.

"And you better stop with your drinking already!"

"My you 2 siblings never stop bickering", Scorch who walk pass them with the rest of Delta Squad said to them.

"That's our family to you!" Yang commented to them.

"You know we haven't ask Supreme Leader Hakaze this", Ruby wanted to say something.

"And what's that?" Blake ask what is that.

"I know in the past James Ironwood was our friend before his paranoia made him go dark, but can we bring him back to the light after we and the Republic defeats all his loyalist?" Ruby wonders if they can bring back Ironwoods back to the light because he use to be their friend before.

"I highly doubt that Ruby, we all now that Salem is responsible for creating the paranoia and darkness withing him after Vale fell, even now after we defeated Salem and her followers, including all of the Grimm for good, James is still in the dark", Oscar/Ozpin said to Ruby which means there is no getting Ironwood out of the darkness and paranoia.

"So that means we will kill him to end his own large crimes that was much like Salem did", Ren said that's what they are all going to do when the Republic and them storms Atlas City.

"But I also feel like Salem created the darkness in James", Glynda said but she could be right about that.

"Hey everyone no time for some peace talk, Winter and Ace Ops are leading another attack on us", Makoto Sako said to them as the Republic ready for another battle.

"Looks like we are in for another battle", Robyn Hill said to all of them.

Next Battle

Winter and the Ace Ops leads another wave of their Forces to attack the Republic and Rebels but the Republic still well prepared them they are, "alright bring it on! GAH!" Vine Zeki attempts to charge in head-on at the Republic and Rebel Forces but was stabbed in the back by Makoto Sako using a Dark Sword after being caught off guard.

"That's one down", Makoto then toss Vine Zeki's dead body aside before she and Hinako Kujou charge at Winter Schnee and the rest of the Ace Ops while the Republic and Rebel Forces deal with Atlas Troops.

"This is your one chance to surrender Winter!" Makoto and Hinako was able to knock Winter sword and demanded her to surrender.

"Not chance you 2!" Winter was able to use her glyph and speed away then retrieve her sword and regroups with the rest of the Ace Ops.

Once again Atlas Troops get pounded by Republic Forces thanks to their AT-AT Walkers who destroys a large portion of their Armored Trucks and Atlesian-Paladin 290 Mechs, another portion are destroyed and killed off by BLT Y-Wing Bombers and LAAT Gunships air strikes. Lastly their Bullhead VTOL and Dropships who tried to give their Forces some air support end up getting blown out of the skies by a Acclamator-Class Assault Ship that was present in that battle, some destroyed or shot down by V-Wing and ARC-170 Fighters.

Lastly Clone Troopers and Clone Cold Assault Troopers including the Rebel Troops make short work of the Atlas Troopers and Atlesian Knight 200s with their Blasters and Rocket Launchers, including their Huntsmen and Huntress Weapons.

"Damn them", Harriet Bree becomes angered that they are losing again and charges at Ruby Rose who was nearby and defeat dozens of Atlas Troopers and Atlesian Knight 200s in the process with her Cresent Rose.

"Ruby LOOK OUT!" Yang alerted Ruby but she's not fast enough to evade.

"Hold it right there Mohawk!" Sev blocks Harriet's Fast Knuckle punches with his Krohkar Sword, then he breaks both of Harriet arms by kneeing both of her elbows causing her to fall on her knees.

"End of the line", Sev then spins kicks Harriet in the right-side of her face causing her neck to snap and killing her.

"RETREAT!" Winter shouted because after seeing both Vine and Harriet killed by the Republic and the Rebels tells all of remaining Forces to retreat.

"Looks like we got them on the run", Coco said as she keeps firing her Gatling Gun at Atlesian Knight 200s that all go offline after the retreat.

"But where not finish here yet, we have an invasion of Atlas City to finish", Hakaze said as Juggernaut Tanks and UT-AT Walkers arrive from the landed Acclamator-Class Assault Ships and Venator-Class Star Destroyers.

"This will be the end of Ironwood's tyranny", Hakaze as Clone Troopers, Clone Cold Assault Troopers cheered.
