Katashimon got off the Trailmon and huffed in disappointment.
Not only had she lost the fight to those stupid kids, but a DemiDevimon servant had come looking for her with an order to report at once with Lord Bashidamon.
The blue leopard walked away from Trailmon and towards an empty ghost town. Ever since Lord Bashidamon started taking over, Katashimon and several servants, plus, of course, Sombras, had terrorized many Digimon out of their homes or into hiding. Most Digimon had run into the Light World, which was what Katashimon now called the other world, where she was a a few hours ago. The World she was in, she called the Dark World. Because it described them perfectly. The Dark World was empty, silent, and obviously dark. And the Light World was full of life. Not that Katashimon cared.
As she walked through the town towards Lord Bashidamon's castle on a small mountain, Katashimon crossed her arms and looked at her surroundings. Buildings, mostly homes, were still standing. Only the thing that made them a bit creepy, at least to Katashimon, was the fact the whoever lived in them, had dropped their things all over the place and were blown around in the wind. Katashimon saw a lone toy in the middle of the street and stopped. The toy was a bunny and as Katashimon's claws picked it up, the bunny's head fell back. Smirking softly, she lifted up his head.
"Someone must have loved you very much." she said to the toy, then realizing she had spoken out loud, frowned. "What the hell am I doing talking to a stupid toy?"
She marched towards a table left outside and tossed the bunny carelessly on it.
But as she walked, Katashimon couldn't help but think she should have placed the toy bunny upright.
As she neared the castle, Katashimon lifted up her chest and head. Lord Bashidamon didn't like lowered chests/heads. She walked this way until she reached the doors and stopped just before entering. She had seen the castle many times in her life, but she couldn't help looking over it.
The castle was about four stories high, filled with towers of all sorts and sizes. And since not a ray of sunshine had even touched the bricks of the old castle, dark clouds brought a dim light and one could barely make out details that were included. The structure of the castle was actually built around a hole in the mountains, since Lord Bashidamon insisted that he need one for mediation.
Katashimon rolled her eyes when she was some spikes covering the top. 'Whoever built this place really wanted this place to look idiotic.' she thought. She didn't admit that when she was a younger, this castle used to scare her shitless. But to be a soldier, a warrior-ess, second in command of Lord Bashidamon's army of Sombras and servants, she had to overcome all fear and obstacles to remain that. Besides, she had been taught by the best.
The doors opened and Katashimon walked inside.
Katashimon walked towards the main room of the castle, which was the hole of the mountain itself. Of all the ideas Lord Bashidamon came up with, Katashimon thought that building a damn castle around a hole was the dumbest. But of course, she didn't tell him that. He would kill her.
Kneeing down in one knee on the cold, hard ground, Katashimon cleared her throat. "My lord? You wanted to see me?"
A strong gust of wind blew towards Katashimon and she grimaced. Katashimon sweat-dropped. 'Special effects.'
"Katashimon, my child. How lovely to see you." said a voice, echoing in the solid walls. "How are you?"
Now, Katashimon knew Bashidamon didn't call her all the way from the 'Light' World just to see how she was doing, but she remained silent. "I'm doing good, my lord."
A tuh sound was heard and Katashimon knew that he was smiling as he spoke. "'My Lord'? Please, Katashimon. Call me 'Father'. I am your father, am I not?"
"Yes...Father." said Katashimon and stood up, looking to where Lord Bashidamon was suppose to be, in the darkness.
"Tell me, Katashimon, how many years was it was when I found you?"
Katashimon groaned silently. Here we go again. "It was about fifteen years ago."
"Oh yes, you were barely a Rookie. Your poor parents, killed by a savage Devimon. And you. So small, so innocent, so weak. I felt pity for such a small cub and I took you in, am I right?"
"Yes, Father."
"I raised you as if you were my own. But of course, I had plans. I wanted to rule this world. No, these worlds. The World of the Digidestined, and the World of the Legendary Warriors and of the Great Lapumon." Katashimon heard him chuckle. "And of course, as my child, you wanted to help."
"Yes, Father. I did. And you trained me to be my absolute best. To be a master assassin and second in command to your army."
Silence. "Yes..and so, tell me, you little worthless kitty-cat. HOW COULD YOU LET THEM GET THREE EMBLEMS PLUS, THE CATALYST?!"
Katashimon winced at the volume and sighed silently. "Father, it was your servant WaruMonzaemon who let them get the Catalyst. I wasn't even there!"
"But the Digi-pests have gotten their little hands on three Emblems, Katashimon. Explain that."
Katashimon stood silent. She knew that even if she tried to, Bashidamon wouldn't except any. "I apologize, Father."
A blue ray of lightning suddenly hit Katashimon, causing her to cry out and collapse on her knees.
"I'm giving you another chance, Katashimon. You will bring me back the Catalyst. And since you have failed me, you will also take care of the Angel."
"B-But Father.." gasped Katashimon, who's body twitched every now and then with electricity. "the Angel i-is totally surrounded by the Digidestined and W-Warriors. It'll be difficult."
"But not impossible. I want the Angel."
Katashimon nodded her head and tried to bow on one knee. But the electricity Bashidamon threw at her made it hard. "Y-Yes Father."
A sigh was heard. "Lady Lapumon is famous with the Digimon in her world. I have no doubt that she will have admiration of both worlds soon. But when she is captured, or better yet, killed, It'll be the perfect time to attack the other world. And then..the worlds will mine."
Katashimon recovered herself and stood up. "I shall bring you the Catalyst...and the Angel."
Katashimon was now back inside a Trailmon, back to the 'Light World'. But this time, she was angry.
How the hell does Bashidamon think that she can take down the Angel? Sure, Katashimon is skilled in combat. But Lapumon is clever as a fox. (Get it? Since Amy's Digimon form is a fox? And her Beast Spirit? ah ah ah...*sweat drop*) And, she's never alone.
Wait...she's never alone...
Katashimon's eyes brightened. Lapumon cares deeply about everyone, especially the weak and her family and friends. Maybe...maybe one of them can serve as bait.
So um, I got a complaint from this random guy and he said that I can't do script format of any kind on my chapters or else he'll report me. But **holds up hand** whatever! I'll add the normal intros and endings next chapter, which I'm pretty sure you'll like. I didn't add them now because I'm updating late, heh heh, so thanks for reading and don't forget to review, follow or favorite! Thanks to those who did last chapter, by the way! :)
