Chapter 1 The Encounter
"Have a seat, the doctor will call you soon," said the nurse.
Izuku and his mom are at the hospital to hear the test results to see if he has a quirk or not. Playing with his All Might, four-year-old Izuku runs down the hallway where her mother yells, "Don't run too far, Izuku!"
"Okay mom," Izuku said, continuing to play down the hall.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the hospital, a man turned up with a nine-year-old boy with a hood and a spooky story playing with his controller. The man said to the boy, "Walk around the hospital a little, Tomura. I have something to discuss with the doctor."
Tomura left without saying anything. He's so fixated on his game that he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings, so he bumps into a small green-haired boy and falls to the ground across from them.
Tomura yelled, "Look out," and looked at the boy while he reached into his pocket for a hand to calm himself. "Sorry," Izuku tells him, rubbing his head.
Izuku looks at his story and gets goosebumps. He has many wrinkles in his face, his mouth is cracked and uneven and is stretched with his eyes wide. This sight would scare anyone.
He calms down quickly as he is already being bullied by Bakugo with his explosive hands, evil face and his buddies, where Tomura doesn't seem that menacing compared to him.
Izuku asked curiously, "What happened to your face!" where Tomura replies, "I don't know! I can't get myself like that."
He sees the All Might on the ground and becomes more angry and scared. "Is that All Might"?!
Izuku takes the figurine and replies, trembling, "Y-yes d-this is All Might! T-The greatest H hero of all time!"
"The greatest hero of all time?!" said Tomura, "More like the conceited and cocky hero of all time. With his stupid grin he thinks he can save anyone and everyone!"
"Excuse me," says the somewhat angry Izuku, "he's the greatest hero of all time! He saved 100 people in a burning disaster, smiled at even the worst of disasters and gave us all hope."
"You have no idea," Tomura called familiarly. The two argue for a long time until Inko calls out: "Izuku, the Doctor with the results of the quirk test waits."
Izuku goes back to his mother and goes to the doctor. Tomura follows him and looks through the crack of the door, being curious what quirk the brat has and sees Ujiko Daruma, his master's doctor. 'He won't betray me' thought Tomura and sneaks in to hear better.
Izuku asked his mother, "Do you think I can be a superhero too?"
Before Inko said anything, Ujiko replied: "I don't think so with this quirk!" He turns around, glances at Tomura, and says to Izuku, "Your Quirk allows you to immerse yourself in the body and soul of a person you touch. You can thus delve into the memories of the person and, through the DNA, their ancestors up until the time the next generation was born, and even perceive the person's emotion. This allows you to have a more emotional and intimate conversation in there with the person you are touching. You can even improve the person's Quirk using the experience and quirks of their ancestors plus your own experience to one much more powerful quirk than it is can ever become.
"It's so faint, though, you only see the memory and emotions of the affected person. Also, if the person fights back, you can get nosebleeds and headaches. You might even pass out. Therefore, in an active emergency, the at best thing you can do is calm down a victim, and even then you would only be in the way during this period of time because you cannot move then. Getting information from bad guys doesn't work either, because they usually fight back and you know what happens." said Ujiko.
"In short, you can't be a superhero with your quirk." he said.""But you can use it to become a therapist or even a hero school teacher to help develop the offspring."
Izuku and Inko are shocked. Even Tomura feels shocked because he feels something familiar.
"Mrs. Midoriya, her quirk can attract small objects and her husband can spit fire, right." Ms. Midoriya nods, still shocked. "Then it must be a mutation. I can't imagine anything else as quirks are usually inherited." says the doctor.
Tomura leaves the room to avoid being spotted and leans next to the door. Shortly thereafter, the Midoriyas come out. Izuku looks sadly at Tomura and says, "You have heard probably everything. You don't like All Might and the heroes, but I have to ask you: Can I become a superhero?""
At that sentence, something snaps in Tomura's memory and he sees a blurry black little boy in Izuku and is too shocked to say anything, what Izuku hurt.
Inko sees the boy but couldn't see his face, and continues to the exit with Izuku.
When the man who came with Tomura shows up because he was looking for him, he sees him shocked and his doctor in the room. He goes into the room, closes the door and says with a grin: "Something must have happened here."
Ujiko says: "Here's following happened, All for One." and him explain everything.
All for One then says: "That's interesting. I want to know everything you know about him. He could be a big help for Tomura to get to the Quirk, which was a problem even for me."
But his doctor warn: "Tomura could also betray you because he can also find out a lot about you. As for the Quirk, they wouldn't be the same, instead Tomuras would be quite a bit more powerful than that. Besides, the kid isn't ready to do it yet."
"Since I'm going to be defeated by All Might anyway, I'm taking the risk. Now that the Quirk is going to be even more powerful than the original, I'm even happier." says All for One smiling. "If I have to wait a few years for that, no problem. I can be very patient."
Note: I chose the hospital because I couldn't think of any other place where the two would accidentally cross paths as their worlds are separate.
