After Joe had quickly woken up the others, he announced to them in glee of his discovery. And now, he led the group through the trees as the others found out in surprise that it was indeed a beach.
"Wow, this is just awesome!" Gomamon cheered as he followed his partner. "Just think of it! A beach means water! And water means a chance to SWIM!"
Everyone pretty much ran to the mention of a beach, chattering in glee and excitement. (Well, everyone ran minus Lili, Jp Nova and Impmon, who helped Lili.)
"Ohh I just hope the water's good enough to take a quick rinse!" Mimi wondered out loud. "I think I sweated so much that my clothes can stand by themselves!"
"I just hope there's food!" Hawkmon called out from the sky.
A smile appeared on Tommy's face as he ran next to Takuya. "You know what I want right now? Ice cream!"
Zoe groaned and held her tummy at the mention of the frozen dairy. "Aw man, now I'm craving for it!"
Takuya cocked his head. "Craving?! Zoe, ARE YOU PREGNANT!?"
The groups finally arrived at the border of the Forest Kingdom. But what they found was totally unexpected.
Digimon of all sort and sized were sorted out all over the beach. And all of them appeared to be having fun building sandcastles, swimming, etc. They laughed, talked to each other and just had fun.
It was as if nothing was going on.
"What the hell?" exclaimed Matt. "What are they on, a vacation?!"
"It looks like they're just their just enjoying themselves." Cody observed as a pair of Koromon chased each other around.
"Well, I know that!" said Takuya, who was still running the back of his head where Zoe smacked him. "But why? Don't they know what going on?"
Tentomon turned and spotted the Digimon hybrid. "Amy, they're not in some sort of spell, now are they?"
"That's exactly what I was thinking." said Amy as she closed her eyes once. She reopened them, eyes glowing instantly and scanned her surroundings but to Amy's surprise, she sensed nothing unusual. "But no, there's nothing. They're all normal."
"Well, what do we do Tai?" asked Agumon to his partner.
Tai shrugged. "Let's go that beach house thingie over there." he said as he pointed to a building.
They didn't even take one step before a Lopmon stopped what she was doing and gasped. "Oh my goodness! It's the Digidestined!"
"I can't believe it!" said a Pagumon. "It's Tai!"
"And the Warriors!"
"HOLY CRAP!"
"Lady Lapumon!"
"Someone tell the owners!"
"Someone already went!"
In the beach house, four colorful bird Digimon squawked and shouted orders at each other inside the kitchen.
"You numskull! That Dogmon ordered a sandwich, not noodles!"
"Well, sorry, Mr. Know-It-All! He never stopped changing his mind! First it was lemonade, then it was a salad, then it was orange, juice then this, then that!"
"HEY! Where's that pumpkin pie I ordered a few minutes ago?!"
"It's right here!"
One of the four sighed and removed a hair net that he had put on. "Whew! It's hot in here. Who wants ice-cream?"
"MISTER, MISTER! HEY!"
All four of them turned towards the open door, where a Frogtmon stood, breathing heavily.
"What the heck happened to you?" one of them asked. "You ran a marathon?"
"*gasp, gasp* no...it's...it's..." Frogmon took a deep breath before speaking. "Humans...Digidestined and...*gasp* Warriors!"
"WHAT?!"
"NO WAY!"
"IT'S CAN'T BE!"
The leader of the four turned tail and began to run. "LET'S GO!"
The other three squawked and ran behind him. "WAIT FOR US!"
Yolei smiled as she was offered a glass of lemonade along with everyone else. "Thanks!" she said and took a drink. Beside her, a thirsty Hawkmon waited until Yolei lowered the glass away from her and gave it to him. Hawkmon immediately gulped down the rest.
"Wow, that was some great lemonade." praised Yolei with a smile.
"AHHH!" sighed Gabumon and wiped his mouth clean with his arm. "This is awesome!"
After the crowd of Digimon calmed down, some of the workers took the large group to an area with chairs, tables and to their glee, food. Basically, a picnic area near the ocean, much to Stephanie's delight.
A Renamon servant bowed before them and kindly asked them what they would like to eat. But before anyone could blurt out a list of desired food, four Digimon birds ran to them.
"TOMMY!"
In an instant, Tommy's head turned and his eyes widened. "It's the Toucanmon!"
The Toucanmon ran to him and Tommy did the same, all five of them crashing at each other and nearly crushing each other with hugs. Meanwhile, the others grinned at seeing a happy reunion.
"Who are they?" asked Tk.
"They're the Toucanmon, some old friends of ours." explained Takuya then smiled when he saw tears of joy from a Toucanmon. "Well, specifically, Tommy's."
The leader wiped his eyes clean and sniffed. "It's so GOOD to see you, Tommy!"
"Same goes to you." Tommy told him with a smile.
"And look!" said another. "He's so grown-up, now!"
Tommy bashfully looked himself over and shrugged. "Yeah, I guess."
The Toucanmon #3 (I'm going to start putting them numbers...) looked to the side and noticed for the first time their other friends. "Look," he said cheerfully, "and it's Lady Lapumon and her other Warriors!"
Amy gave them a smile and kindly gave them each a kiss and a hug. The four Toucanmon then received the same from the others. Well, only Zoe. The guys gave them a quick hug.
"And who are these people?" asked Toucanmon #2.
Tai stood up. "I'm Tai. And this is my partner Agumon." he turned and pointed the others out as he called on them. "This is my sister Kari with Gatomon, Tk, and Patamon. That's Matt, Gabumon, Mimi, Palmon, Cody, Armadillomon, Joe and Gomamon. Then it's Izzy, Tentomon, Ken, Wormmon, Sora, Biyomon, Davis, Veemon, Yolei, Hawkmon, Nova and Impmon."
"And I'm Calumon!" Calumon called out as he jumped on Ken's shoulder.
Tai chuckled. "Oh, yeah and that's Calumon."
The leader took a deep breath and scratched his head. "Woah, that's a lot of people to remember...but no problemo!"
"Toucanmon, what is this place?" asked Takuya.
"Well, you remember Toucanmon Paradise, right?"
Toucanmon #4 frowned. "I thought Takuya was talking to me!"
"No..." Toucanmon #1 remarked. "he was asking me!"
"No, he wasn't!"
"Yes, he was!"
"GUYS!" Jp shouted. "Alright enough, just tell us!"
Toucanmon #3 sighed and told them, much to #1 and #4's dismay. "After you guys saved the world, me and the other guys came back and decided that it would be a great idea to open it up again, but this time, as a tourist attraction."
Sora shook her head approvingly and looked around. "Well, you guys did a good job at that." she pointed out, as she watched the senery.
"But we've been also using this as a place where refugees take cover."
Gatomon cocked her head. "Refugees?"
The leader of the Toucanmon nodded. "Yep! Ever since all the trouble's been going on with Lord Bashidamon and the other world coming from another dimension into ours, we had a lot of Digimon that came from that world into ours with no place to be. So we opened up the Toucanmon Paradise to those in need and we charge not a single penny!"
"That's so awesome!" grinned Izzy.
The leader blushed and nodded. "Thanks. So as you can see here," he looked around at his surroundings. "most of these Digimon are staying here until they can go back home."
"Toucanmon, that's really sweet of you." Lili complimented. "Of the four of you."
GRRRROWL...
Nova's eyes widened and looked towards Impmon, who rose up both arms as to say, 'it wasn't me.'
Everyone looked around, confused until their glances landed on Mimi, who blushed scarlet as she hugged her tummy.
"WHAT!?" she snapped. "I'M HUNGRY!"
Clapping his wings together, the leader smirked. "Well, just in luck, my new pink-haired friend! Toucanmon Paradise is here to serve you!"
"Yeah, we have any type of service one can dream for!" said Toucanmon #3.
Toucanmon #4 nodded. "And we have loads of delicious food for you to eat!"
"And afterwards, you can change from your clothes into swimsuits and enjoy a day in the sun!" Toucanmon #4 announced.
Sharing glances with each other, smirks, smiles and grins appeared on everyone's faces.
"YEAH!"
"Man, I'm stuffed." groaned Matt as he held his bulging stomach.
His best friend agreed. "I think I just ate twice my weight in food." sighed Gabumon and placed his head on the table.
Both rested in their seats for a few seconds and watched the others did the same.
Davis let out a burp and excused himself. "Sorry...I don't think I have to complain about food ever again."
"Tell me about it." grinned Jp. "But the food..ohhh...amazinggg."
Zoe looked down the long table. (They connect about three picnic tables for all of them to sit in) All of them were done eating and were now just waiting for the food to arranged themselves in their stomachs. She smiled as she looked over the ocean waves, where some Digimon refugees were already having fun. Can't wait!
"Are we done eating?" asked a Renamon servant.
Stephanie quickly stood up from her chair and nodded. "I am!"
"Well, someone's excited." muttered Kouichi towards Amy, who giggled.
Tai sighed and stood up as well. "Sure, me too."
One by one, everyone stood up and nodded.
Renamon smiled kindly. "Good. Now, follow me please."
Toucanmon was pretty big, much to everyone's surprise. There was a large picnic area (where they just were), the main building (where it was sort of like the managment office), the changing room (it was two buildings actually, one for boys and one for girls), some small stands of food, an area full of beach goodies, and a few buildings which inside, held bunk beds for refugees. There was also an are meant for soccer or volleyball and a plain are near the ocean where one could set out their blankets and umbrellas and just relax.
After leaving the boys in the Boy's Dressing Room, she took the girls to outside of their dressing room next door.
"Once done, you may do as you wish." said Renamon and smiled. "Enjoy your stay."
After she left, Sora opened up the building's door and the girls gasped when they saw what was in store. Inside, there were racks and racks of bathing suits of all sorts of colors. Lockers were also available for thier things and a few full-length mirrors were on the wall.
Mimi almost cried tears of joy when she saw how much clothes there were. "Oh, I'm totally going to enjoy this!" she squealed and ran inside, immediately looking over the bathing suits.
Amy and Yolei shared looks and shrugged.
"Okay, let's go." said Sora and all seven girls, along with Biyomon, Gatomon and Palmon, walked in.

After looking through the racks of clothes, the girls finally decided what to wear. Yolei chose a simple, orange, one-piece bathing suit and had placed on a matching white hat with an orange ribbon. Sora chose a red bathing suit but this one had three white sprites running sideways on both the front and the back. Mimi chose a frilly light pink bikini and Kari wore a similar pink one, only it covered more of her small breasts.
With the help of Amy and Stephanie, Lili changed into a light green bathing suit with a skirt attached, which she could take off whenever she wished. Zoe wore a hot pink bikini top but instead of wearing it's bottom, she placed a simple pair of black booty shorts. Stephanie put on a beautiful sea-blue bikini as Amy wore dark purple, same as hers.
As she stood in front of the mirror, Zoe fixed up her blond hair in a tight bun, jumping slightly when Stephanie appeared next to her reflection. Stephanie nudged her and winked.
"That's right, Z. You better get ready to see your man!"
Zoe blushed and looked away. "Whaaat?"
Nearby, Sora laughed. "Yeah, for Takuya!"
Zoe gasped and stared at her. "You knew?!"
Sora nodded, still laughing. "Sorry, but it's kinda obvious."
"Yeah, it is." Palmon agreed.
Zoe groaned and shut her eyes tightly. "Does everyone know?!"
"I don't think he does." reassured Kari.
Amy and Lili shared glances and smirked evilly.
Yeahhh...let's go with that.
A knock was heard and the girls hushed.
"You girls just about ready?" asked Takuya from the outside.
"Speak of the devil..." muttered Zoe.
Lili chuckled. "We'll be right out!" she called out.
"You wanna get back on your chair, Lili?" asked Sora, but Lili shook her head.
"Nah, Jp'll carry me."
"I'll carry you outside, then." said Lady Lapumon and lifted her up with ease, bridal-style.
Kari rose up an eyebrow, surprised but didn't say a word. She's been avoiding her ever since what happened last night.
"How are you that strong?" asked Biyomon.
Amy shrugged then winked. "That's what happens when you're a Digimon hybrid." she responded.
Gatomon opened the door and the girls stepped out.
All of the guys were waiting for them and Takuya blushed when he saw Zoe in her outfit, Zoe responding the same way.
Mostly all of the guys wore the same thing: some swim shorts of different colors or patterns. Cody, Tommy and Ken wore one-piece swimsuits.
Calumon waited until Amy gave Lili to Jp before jumping in her arms. "You look pretty, Amy!" complimented Calumon and Amy smiled.
"Thanks Calumon."
Tai nodded to everyone approval. "Okay, now that everyone's he-"
"Someone should check if's there's danger!" Joe interrupted.
Everyone looked at him strangely.
"Joe, if there's danger, there wouldn't be a freaking tourist attraction here in the first place." said Davis.
"Yeah!" said Stephanie and her bracelets jingled as she pointed at the ocean. "I don't care if there's danger or not, but nothing's going to keep me from that water! So, LET'S GO!" and in a blue blur, dug her heels into the sand and ran towards the ocean.
"STEPHANIE!" shouted Kouji after her, but all they heard from the blue-ette was: 'I wanna swim away, but don't know how! Sometimes it feels just like I'm falling in the ocean! Let the waves come and take me down! Let the hurricane set in motion, yeah!...' (Into The Ocean by Blue October)
As Kouji was left sweat-dropping, Matt shrugged. "Then let's go."
Tai sighed and nodded, cheers of happiness filling the air.
I'm so freaking sorry for the lateness!
*growls* I hope that driver gets a fine of a million dollars! Look what he caused!
