"BONSHAI!" yelled Veemon as he ran into the ocean waves. Behind him, the rest of his friends splashed their way in and laughter filled the air.
Tai grabbed Sora by her waist and lifted her up, who gasped. "Up, up and away!"
Sora squealed as she was then let down, landing the the cold water. She resurfaced and wiped her eyes clean. "Tai!"
Biyomon flew up above the others and rolled up into a pink ball. "Cannon ball!" she cried out and landed nearby Kari and Matt.
Stephanie, who was a few feet away from them, swam underwater and opened her eyes. Oh, how she loved how the water rushed through her body! She turned and smiled when she noticed some sea-type Digimon smiling around in glee in the deeper part of the ocean. But gasped when she felt a strong hand grab her arm and pulled her away from her paradise.
Stephanie gasped for air and glared at Kouji, who was looking at her as if she was crazy. "What the hell, Kouji?"
"Well, I thought you were drowning!"
A wave hit them from above without their knowing and resulted in both being sent underwater.
Stephanie desperately swam above and coughed out some water, Kouji doing the same.
"Okay, now I was."
Meanwhile, Tommy was up on Takuya's shoulders as Cody was above Zoe's.
"Let's see who wins!" grinned Takuya.
Zoe laughed evilly. "Yeah, let's."
As Cody swaetdropped, Tommy looked at the pair. "You know it's only me and Cody fighting, right?!"
"Just fight already!" snapped Zoe and both younger boys jumped.
Cody tried to push Tommy off of Takuya's shoulder but Tommy tightened up his grip on Takuya and pushed back. Neither of them noticed that now they had a crowd.
"My twenty's on Tommy." muttered Matt.
Gomamon snickered. "I think Cody's pretty good."
"Come on, T-boy!"
"Go, Cody!"
Everyone who was in the water cheered both Cody and Tommy on and Takuya grinned when he noticed Zoe getting tired of holding up Cody. "Tired, Z?"
Zoe glared. "No!"
Joe watched as both boys struggled to win, but groaned when all four of them fell into the water. "That was surprisingly entertaining." he said to Izzy.
Izzy chuckled and nodded. "Yep."
Not all of the group were in the ocean. Lili and Jp were in the sand nearby the shore, building sand castle with some In-Training and Rookie Digimon.
Lili helped a Puwamon and a Mushroomon build a huge three story castle while Jp, an EbiBurgamon, and a Bearmon helped out by digging a moat.
Mushroomon grabbed some sand and placed it on their castle, patting it so it could stay. "How's this, Ms. Lili?"
Lili stopped working and nodded her approval. "Good job. That looks great." she smiled.
Puwamon was on top of the structure, hopping up and down to make sure the castle was good to go.
"Is it good, Puwamon?" asked Bearmon as he wiped away some sand from his arm.
Puwamon nodded and jumped towards the ground. "Yep! It's all good!"
Jp stopped digging and sat next to Lili. "I'm tired."
"Then go lay down for a bit." Lili said as she carved out the front door with a stick.
"But I don't want to leave you here alone!" he whined and Lli narrowed her eyes playfully.
"Jp, I'll be okay. Just go lay down."
Jp sat down silently for a second and thought about it as Lili went back to work.
"Nah, I'll stay here."
Lili closed her eyes and smiled. And when she opened her eyes, she noticed EbiBurgamon shaking her head in amusement.

Close by the picnic area, (where they were before) a volleyball game was on.
On one side, it was Amy, Kouichi, a Lunamon and a Terriermon and on the opposite side of the net, it was Mimi, Palmon, Yolei and a Floramon. Digimon of all types were in the sidelines cheering for their favorite teams.
A bear-like Digimon, Rakumon, stood nearby, making sure everyone was playing by the rules.
As the ball went towards her, Amy ran up to it and smacked it as hard as she could. Mimi was able to sees this and so jumped up o meet the ball and smacked it back. Lunamon ran up Kouichi's arm, spun quickly and hit the ball with her ear, earning them a point.
"Yes!" Terriormon cheered.
Amy gave her teammates a high-five and Kouichi gave them instructions.
"Okay, so here's the plan. Yolei has a pretty good reflex so I say we make sure not to hit it to her. And Terriormon, if Yolei does hit it, make sure to hit it back."
Terriormon nodded. "Got it!"
"Amy? You stay in the back."
"On it." Amy said.
Meanwhile, Mimi screed out her instructions.
"Just hit the ball as hard as you can!"
Rakumon's whistle blew and the teams got ready to play.

In the audience, Impmon watched as the volleyball flew back and forth between the two teams. "Which one do you go for?" he asked his partner.
Nova crossed his arms and studied the two teams. "Um...Kouichi's."
"Hey, Nova."
Nova looked up to see Ken sitting on the empty seat next to him, Wormmon on the other side. "Hi..."
Ken gave him a smile and pointed towards the game. "Didn't they ask you to play?"
"Well, yeah. But I'm not as good as them." Nova explained and Ken chuckled.
"Oh boy, that makes two of us. Only I can't hit a volleyball correctly even if my life depends on it."
Both boys laughed for a bit but stopped when cheers were heard.
"Who scored a point?" asked Wormmon. "Sorry, I dosing off."
The players on Mimi's team were jumping in glee as Kouichi's were working out another plan, so it was pretty obvious.
Calumon flew in between them and landed on Nova's lap. "Mimi's team got the point!"
Impmon looked up to see Tentomon and Hawkmon flying towards them as well.
"Hello!" greeted Hawkmon and sat down next to Impmon.
Ken looked towards a certain direction and when Nova followed his lead, he immediately regretted it. Hence the fact that Tk and Kari were in that direction and glaring the hell out of him.
Ken noticed and gave Nova a small pat on the back. "Hey, don't worry about it. They're going to have to learn to trust you soon enough."
Nova shrugged and looked towards the game again. "I guess."
Ken shared looks with Wormmon, who then cocked his head towards Nova. 'Try again'.
He sighed and nodded. "Nova, did I ever tell you about the Digimon Emperor?"
Attention caught, Nova looked back at him. "No...I mean, I've heard Davis talk about it but that's it."
"Well, the Digimon Emperor was a really bad person. I mean, like bad. He was a Human like us, but he would go to the Digital World and his plan was to take over it completely. The Digimon Emperor was a harmful tyrant towards the Digimon. He also created some devices called the Dark Rings and he would use that to control Digimon. Eventually some people came by and after a few disagreements, he realized what he was doing was wrong."
Nova smiled a bit. "Well, that great. I mean, the last part."
Ken smiled back. "You know who that was?"
"No, who?"
"Me."
Nova's eyes widened. "Wha?"
Kem nodded. "Yep, that was me. But thankfully I was able to look past the dark ways I was in and joined the light."
"And how the heck am I suppose to follow the light, Ken?" Nova demanded to know. "I mean, I kinda have the Crest of Darkness."
"By not following my example." said Ken. "I was used to be in between, but dived into the dark side. And after a lot of struggling, I managed to leave it and join the light side. Right now, you're in the middle. Don't be as stupid as I was and decide that the dark side is safe for you just because of what you've through. Believe me, I know."
Nova looked down at his hands and sighed when Ken placed his hand once more on his back.
"What's done is done. What's gone is gone. One of life's lessons is always moving on. But it's okay to look back and think of fond memories but you have to keep moving on."
The image of his mother's picture back home appeared in his mind and Nova shut his eyes before tears came. Ken was right.
A loud cheer erupted and he looked up to see Amy and Kouichi embraced with each other and their teammates as Mimi and Yolei howled in rage, Floramon and Palmon sweatdropping.
Nova gave Ken a smile and Ken smiled back.
Looks like Nova made a new friend. sighed Impmon happily.
"I'm tired." sighed Sora as she and Biyomon walked out of the ocean.
Biyomon nodded. "Yeah, me too. Wanna get something to drink?"
A splash made them look back and Sora smiled when she noticed Zoe walked out with them. "Hey, Z."
"Hey, you two." greeted Zoe and waved. "Where're you going?"
"We're going to get something to drink." Biyomon answered.
"Cool, I'll join you."
The three girls walked towards a small beverage stand near the shore and a Vegiemon smiled once they came nearby. "Hello ladies!"
"Can we get some water bottles or something?" asked Sora and Vegiemon handed them each one. "Thanks!"
Zoe opened up her bottle but saw something that made her spit it back out.
"What's wrong?" asked Vegiemon, worried. "Was there something wrong in the water?"
Zoe's eyes almost popped out when she saw a familiar Digimon with the small pink waistband. Meanwhile, that Digimon stood frozen as well.
"B-Bokomon?!"
Bokomon, now much older than Zoe remembered, leaned against the walking stick he now needed and his eyes filled with tears. "Z-Zoey? Zoe, is that you my dear?"
Zoe dropped her bottle and dropped down on her knees in front of the elder, picking him up in her arms and hugging him tightly. "Bokomon, I can't believe you're here!" she said as tears spilled.
Bokomon sniffed as he did the same. "My dear, I'm so happy to see you!"
Both pulled away and Bokomon wiped away some tears. His smile then fell when he noticed that she was alone. "Where's Takuya and the others?"
Zoe looked up and searched for the others desperately. Her smile grew immediately when she spotted Amy and Kouichi who were on their way to the ocean. "AMY! KOUICHI!"
The couple turned and their eyes widened at the sight.
"Is that Bokomon?!" Kouichi exclaimed and Amy turned tail and ran towards the ocean, screaming her head off.
"YOU GUYS! YOU GUYS! YOU GUYS! YOU GUYS! YOU GUYS!"
The Warriors still in the water looked over at her in confusion.
"What's up with her?" asked Kouji.
Amy stopped a few feet inside the water and cupped her hands around her mouth.
"IT'S BOKOMON! BOKOMON IS HERE! BOKOMON'S HERE!"
"..."
Takuya and Kouji shared looks and in a split second, Takuya, Kouji, Tommy and Stephanie clawed at the water to reach the shore.

Jp sniffed as he hugged Bokomon, trying not to cry.
"Aw, Jp. Don't cry." teased Lili and Jp shook his head as he stood back up.
"I'm not crying!" he said and smiled softly. "I'm just so happy to see you, Bokomon."
Bokomon smiled back and chuckled. "Oh Jp..."
"Look!" said Zoe. "The others are here!"
Everyone there turned to see a group of crazy-eyed teens heading thier way.
"Is it me or does it look like they're not slowing down?" asked Biyomon.
Bokomon's eyes widened in fear as the group came closer and closer. "Oh poop..." He started to scream.
Takuya lifted up Bokomon by his armpits and gave him a hug, thankfully, not a bone-crushing one. "BOKOMON!"
As the Digidestined (who had arrived during the excitement) watched, the Warriors one by one hugged Bokomon, at the end appearing as a good old group hug.
A pair of ice blue eyes peeked through a bush on the edge of the forest and smirked when they saw a lot of Digimon and to the side, a crowd of Humans, the Warriors. The others, whom she realized were the Digidestined, stood nearby.
She smirked. Piece of cake.
Katashimon backed up and turned. "You all know your instructions, correct?"
An army of Sombras and servants nodded.
YAYYYYY Bokomon's back!
Bokomon's too awesome not to be in this fanfic. But don't worry, Neemon will appear at the next chapter.
