Chapter 7: Combat Training

*The next day after the quirk test*

The day starts normally. A normal lesson with the normal compulsory subjects like English with the annoying Present Mic. Some students forgot their erasers and got homemade ones from Momo. They erase better than the store bought ones so most just use Momo's Macke when they need something.

At lunchtime, all students eat in the school canteen. Quality food is offered at reasonable prices. The food is made by cooking hero Lunch Rush, which pleases Izuku the most.

In the afternoon the best part of the day begins: the basic hero training. Today he is led by the greatest hero All Might.

"I'll come through the door normally." The teacher struts to the teacher's desk and the class is thrilled to see the great All Might in person. "The subject I teach is Hero Foundations Training. Here you will learn most of what you need to be a hero." He points his hand at the door. "But what would a hero be without his trusty sidekick. Introducing the new assistant teacher, Tenko Shimura."

A young man with black hair and a black uniform steps through the door. He looks in a bad mood right now. "Being your sidekick would be a real nightmare. I'm just here to iron out any possible impermissibility."

"Oh don't be so mean. I'm not that bad after all and I can be a good teacher. After all, I'm All Might."

"All Might, the number one fool and dumbest teacher ever."

"That's hurtful." The two argue for a few minutes, the students don't know what this is about and Izuku gets a deja vu from his childhood when he often argues with Tenko.

"If you're such a good teacher, then prove it."

"With pleasure! So students today we're doing combat training." Bakugo has a grin on his face. "You will do this by donning the hero costumes based on your Quirk registration and wishes you have given to the school. After changing, we'll meet at Battleground Beta."

The adults are waiting for the battlefield and see the hero candidates in their costumes. "So boys and girls, you guys are heroes from now on." Tenko is amazed by this site.

Izuku worked on his designs three weeks ago. He wanted to ask Tenko for advice, but he said his costume is his responsibility and it's up to him how it should look. For the occasion, his mother made him a green tracksuit that she saw in one of his designs. Izuku sent the jumpsuit to school along with some sketch ideas for it.

He comes out of the gate in his costume. It features the green jumpsuit, his gloves and boots feature many air holes pointing towards the body and large circles with rotors are on the palm. You can absorb the air and store it without using any ability. He can later eject them amplified by the rotors. This reduces the effort he needs for his aerial tricks. His mask consists of a hood with special lenses and a metal sub-mask around his neck. The lenses can change under certain force and his metal mask is designed to protect him in certain circumstances. He wears a belt with all kinds of things he can use and some unusual things. He also carries two large pockets on his sleeves.

"Your costume looks great." Ochako greets him. Izuku sees her pink skinny suit and becomes embarrassed. "Your costume looks great too."

"Do you think so? I'm a little embarrassed. I should have formulated my wishes more precisely."

"Mr. Teacher!" This voice comes from Tenya and he wears an armored suit with a helmet covering his whole body. Somehow his suit looks familiar to Izuku, but he doesn't know where. "It's the same place as the entrance exam. Let's do another fight in an urban setting."

"No! We will go two steps further. While many believe most villain combat takes place outside, statistically, such combat tends to take place more indoors. Detention, house arrest, illegal trade. In this society full of heroes, the cunning villains hide in the dark. You will now split into two teams and have a hero vs villain battle. This will teach you the basic skills. that you need as heroes. You won't be up against robots that you can just blow up, though."

"How is the order determined?" "May you beat up the villains." "Do they want to kick someone out of school like Aizawa too?" "Doesn't my cape look stunning." Ask the students one by one.

"I only have two ears." says All Might despair. "Trouble, All Might." Tenko asks him. "No problem, so listen up..." and pulls out cheat sheets only to be stolen by Tenko. "Cheat sheet, seriously?! What teacher uses cheat sheets in their classes? Shouldn't you be a role model for good?"

"Well, even the great All Might needs a little help sometimes."

"Help for what?! To present your own teaching ideas. Have you forgotten your own setting?" and tear up the cheat sheets.

"Of course not! The setting is this: um, well, I guess I forgot."

The students turned pale at this answer. Tenko continues the class while All Might crawls into a corner. The sight leaves the students speechless.

"So listen: The villains have hidden a nuclear bomb in the building. The hero team must either apprehend the villains or touch the bomb. The villain team must either defeat the heroes or protect the bomb. All Might wanted to draw the teams but I will choose the teams myself."

"Why do the teams choose at random?" Tenya asks, to which Izuku replies, "Heroes often have to work with other heroes unprepared."

"So the exercise is meant to have the future in mind, but why is it changing now?"

This time Tenko answers. "I thought of a concept, but please ask me for the exercise. I have to make up my own mind first."

"Sorry for my intrusive question."

"No problem, so here's the summary:

Ochako is happy to be on the team with Izuku, while Izuku has an inkling of what Tenko is up to.

"It starts with hero team A versus villain team D." This realization surprises Katsuki while Izuku expects it from his trainer.

"The rogue team goes into the building first and prepares everything. 5 minutes later we start with the exercise. Don't hold back. It's going to be an almost real fight. If it goes too far, we'll break it off. All other teams please go to the surveillance room and All Might, come out of the corner. You're still the teacher."

All Might has calmed down and goes with the others.

Hanta and Katsuki enter the room with the bomb. Hanta inspects the room and Katsuki ponders something with an angry look on her face. "Hey brainy, guard the bomb. I'll take care of the intruders. I still have a score to settle with Deku."

"In order! I'll set some traps."

Meanwhile, Izuku and Ochako discuss the exercise.

Ochako is very relaxed there. "Exercise is fine. There is no expulsion, unlike Mr. Aizawa." She looks at Deku. He has his eyes closed and is not at all relaxed. "Are you alright Deku?"

"I'm fine but we're fighting Kat-chan."

"You told me he used to tease you all the time. Do not worry. You have the highest score in the entrance exam and you have placed 1 in the quirk test."

"It's not going to be as easy as it is here. I have great accomplishments, but even if I hate him, his accomplishments are great too. A confrontation with him is not easy. But even then I want to defeat him. I used to dial down my power in his presence so he wouldn't lose his superiority, but today I'm showing him my true power." he says with a determined face.

"That's the male rivalry. I will support you in this. We're a team after all." She stretches her hand to the sky with an enthusiastic smile.

"Thank you Ochako." he says smiling.

"The urban warfare begins now."

"Ahh Ochako can I take your hand for a second?" Ochako is confused and just offers her hand.

*Meanwhile into the surveillance room*

The students and teachers stand in front of the surveillance monitors. "Watch this exercise closely when it's your turn."

The alien girl Mina notices something immediately. "The hero team held hands. How sweet!"

Tenya argues: "What are they doing there? They don't have time to play pairs."

Tenko immediately intervenes. "Wait with your guess! What Izuku is doing is clever."

They then watch the hero team march in, briefly disappear from camera view, and then reappear separately.

Izuku claps his hands while running and the teachers are startled and act like they have an earache.

"Are you alright?" asks one of the students.

"We are fine. Izuku produces balls of air, which he then smacks together, making a loud popping sound that we teachers can hear over the radios."

"Why is Izuku making such a noise? He draws the villains' attention to him." asks the boy with the red hair named Eijirou Kirishima.

Tenko explains: "That's exactly his plan. He lures the villains away from Ochako and she can get the bomb in peace. Which is also good considering who their opponent is. She wouldn't stand a chance against Bakugo."

"But for a plan like that, they must have agreed. It didn't look like they had discussed anything though." remarks half ice boy Shoto Todoroki.

"I didn't hear they discussing anything either? So when did they meet? Does anyone know?"

Tenko reports the hand and says, "I know that, but I'd like to know if any of you know."

The students and All Mights are at a loss until Momo comes up with something. "Was that when they were holding hands?"

"What makes you think that, dear Yaoyorozu?!"

"As they held hands, their assistant said, 'What Izuku did is clever.' I believe that Izuku did something that made them so coordinated."

Tenko replies, "She's right. Izuku brought the two of them into his memory world, where time flies faster than it does in reality."

The students are confused and Tenko gives a short Quirk introduction to Izuku.

*Back to Izuku*

Izuku keeps making noises until he hears something. He recognizes this and immediately dodges the explosive attack from the corner.

"There you are Deku! It's time I taught you useless scum a lesson." It's Kat-chan, and he's attacking with his explosive right hand, but Izuku ducks, puts his right hand on his stomach, and fires air bullets at him. The attack tilts Bakugo backwards and then grabs his stomach.

"You always attack with your right hand first. I got this information from the notebooks you burned one of. You can call me useless Deku. Because now I'm Deku, you can do it."

Ochako hears this over the radios and smiles.

Bakugo is really angry now and shoots a blast at him as he deflects with Repel Shield, but Bakugo takes advantage of the smoke cloud from this and grabs Izuku's face in surprise with his other hand, who he quickly pushes aside with his hand, unfortunately a bit late, as the explosion of the hand grazes his face, burning part of the mask. Bakugo slams into Izuku's stomach with his other explosive hand, as he quickly intensifies the push on himself to fly far back to gain distance. He hits his back against the wall, quickly gets to his feet and runs away. Bakugo follows him.

*Meanwhile at Ochako*

Ochako makes his way to the bomb. When Izuku closed his eyes earlier, he could hear much more clearly and heard noises in a certain part of the building. He explains to her that the bomb might be there. In a few minutes she reached the room with the bomb. Inside the room, the four pillars with the bomb in the center are wrapped in duct tape, making it a prison you can't get inside. Suddenly her arm is wrapped in duct tape and she is pulled against the closed door. She recognizes Hanta's elbow at the end of the tape.

"Did you really think it would be that easy? The Bakugo chasing you suited me and I was able to secure the weapon. However, you were able to find the room quicker than expected, which means I don't have time to secure the room. But even if you defeat me, you'll never get close to the bomb."

Ochako grabs the band binding his arm with all five fingers, rendering Sero weightless and throwing him against one of the pillars. She disables her Quirk and rips off the tape on her.

Hanta recovers and shoots another duct tape at her feet, binding them.

"Now you're trapped."

*monitoring room*

"The hero team is in trouble." notes Eijirou.

"Coming to think of it, the heroes are at a disadvantage from the start. You only have 15 minutes and you don't know where the bomb is." replies Mina.

"You're right. Heroes have to constantly turn around such situations. Didn't Aizawa tell you about the school motto?"

"PLUS ULTRA" everyone yelled except Tenko, and he replied, "Katsuki's up to something." which draws the attention of others.

*Deku and Kat-chan*

Deku continues to run away and keeps shooting air balls at Bakugo, who he either puts away or dodges.

Bakugo replies, "You think I can't get to you if you keep your distance, but I have a surprise."

He stops, which Izuku notices and stops too. He aims his grenade bracers at him and grabs the pen with his other hand. "Since you nerds know a lot about me, you should know about my quirk that they produce nitroglycerin sweat on my hands. If the support nerds got my plan right, these bracers should store your sweat and fire off with concentration."

'He won't.' Izuku and All Might think.

"Do not do that. If you fire that, he'll die."

"Not if he fends it off." he says and slowly pulls out the pen.

Izuku grabs both of his arm pouches and closes them to the two large pouches on the belt side. He quickly runs to the wall, puts both hands on it and creates a strong shield around him.

Katsuki pulls out the pen and fires a large concentrated blast at Deku. It blasts away all parts of the building in the radius, creating a tremor that teammates feel.

Hanta loses her balance and falls to the ground. Ochako quickly tries to grab the band, but he quickly yanks the band away and fires another at her hand, tying it to her leg. "I don't fall for the same trick twice." Ochako now grabs the item Izuku gave her earlier.

Bakugo sees the power of the explosion and is delighted. "Ha, what are you saying now, you nerd loser. You'll never get close to me."

Suddenly, out of the cloud of smoke, a large stone arm grabs him and throws it out of the building through the hole. He slows the fall with his explosions and lands on the roof of the outbuilding. Izuku follows him with the large rock bracers on his arms.

*monitoring room*

Tenko was smart enough to use a camera drone for the exercise.

"How did the boy get such big rock bracers?" asks Eijirou in astonishment.

"He built it out of the many debris from the buildings with his ability." explains Tenko.

"He can build something like that with his quirk?!" wonders Momo. "I thought he could only push off and pull on."

"He decomposed the material with lines of repulsion and then welded it back together with lines of attraction." Tenko reports, "If that's what impresses you, then you'd better sit down, because there's more to come."

The students look on in awe.

Izuku now hits Kat-chan with both boulder fists and he fires at the fists with the other bracers. They collide and create a shockwave, destroying the fists and creating a cloud of smoke around the fight.

Suddenly, Bakugo is hit in the stomach by a much harder fist and has to pull himself together from the intense pain. The smoke settles and four bags lie on the floor. Katsuki sees Izuku and is amazed that he's suddenly wearing new diamond bracers.

The students are also surprised and when they look at Ochako, they see the object she is grabbing. It's a long knife made of diamonds. She cuts herself free from the band and is free again.

"Where the hell did they get those diamond items from all of a sudden?" asks a blond flash boy named Denki Kaminari. The others can't explain it.

"I told you, there's more to come! He once managed to turn a piece of coal into a diamond." replies Tenko.

That surprises Momo particularly. "But for coal to become diamond, it has to be subjected to intense high pressure and temperature."

"So far is his power." the assistant explained further. "The control of his Quirk is at the molecular level. It can thus generate high pressure and make an object really hot. He's practically gone plus ultra."

The students remember yesterday's quirk test and that Izuku was able to achieve high scores.

"Then there was coal in the pockets and he made these diamonds out of it." explains Momo, impressed. 'And I thought I was the only one who thought at the molecular level.'

Izuku's new bracers now have more air holes than his gloves, and it can not only inhale but also expel air from them, increasing its punching power. They can also take in more air and give the turbines more power.

Katsuki is really angry at Deku's performance. "Damn shit." he roars and charges at Izuku. He put his palm on Deku's stomach. Izuku tries to intercept it, but the blast is aimed at the ground, causing him to leap over Izuku and attempt to blast at Deku's back, but is drawn in by the bracer on his back. Izuku quickly turns and now punches Kat-chan, who he deflects with his newly filled bracer, which then shatters and the nitroglycerin explodes.

The two take the blast full force, with Izuku protecting himself with a green Repel Shell. Both stand up with all your strength. Bakugo's body aches as Izuku slowly feeds on exhaustion.

"The two don't give each other anything." comments Kirishima.

"The two have a high level of control and adjustment to their quirks and bodies." explains Momo

"They both have real talents." the lightning boy notices.

"Despite his temper, this bakugo really seems to think." tells Shoto.

*By the bomb*

Ochako, now freed from the tapes, grabs some of the junk lying around, throws it at Hanta, and collects more. Hanta dodges them, catches with his ribbons, and tries to hurl at Ochako. Ochako lets go of the trash and disables her Quirk in time. The returned weight stops Hanta, Ochako quickly lightens and charges towards him. Unable to dodge quickly, Sero was touched by Ochako's pads, rendering him weightless. She quickly grabs him and throws him to the duct tape wall. Hanta gets really stuck in his own trap and Ochako grabs the diamond knife.

*Back at Izuku*

Deku and Kat-chan prepare for their final attack.

Katsuki is now yelling angrily: "You miserable nerd. You are a fucking liar. You hid that strength all along. Why didn't you ever fight me?! Because you underestimate me?! 'Cause I'm too weak for you, huh? I'm better than you, DEKU!" He points his last bracer at him and grabs the pen.

Izuku hears Katsuki yelling and replies with his, "I don't underestimate you, you idiot. I've already said it, I didn't mean to take away your admired superiority. Had I would have fought you , I would be no better than a villain, and that superiority would be gone forever. But today is different. I have a goal and to achieve it I must destroy your superiority, which I admire you for, and crush you, KAT-CHAN!" He waves his arm at him, ready to counter the attack.

Katsuki pulls out the pen and shoots another blast at him. Izuku wraps his gloves in attraction and soaks up the whole blast. It could soak up everything and glows right. Bakugo points his other hand at him. 'I have to use it' he thinks and fires an equally violent explosion under his own power. Izuku shoots a hot jet of air at him with the glowing glove and both slam into each other. This creates a continuous pressure wave in all directions. Izuku uses the Repel Shell to protect himself from the wave and charges at Katsuki. Katsuki, fighting the wave, is unable to move and fully feels the bracer blown uppercut from Izuku's other hand. The blow and blast shot him across the roof's compound and nearly ripped it out.

As the wave subsides, Ochako has cut through the duct tape and touched the bomb, causing All Might to yell, "The hero team won."

Izuku hears it, roars out, and drops his bracers on the floor. You can see burns on his arms and he faints from exhaustion. Bakugo has to admit defeat with a horrified and painful body. 'I lost. I had to give it my all against Deku and I lost!'

Then All Might strikes with the medical robots. "Get down, Bakugo! It's time for the assessment. Whether you win or lose, the experience you gain is valuable for your future." The medic robots carry the unconscious Izuku to the infirmary.

The teams except than Izuku have gathered in the surveillance room.

"Can any of you guys say who did best?"

The students think.

Momo answers. "I can tell. Bakugo scored the worst. He reacted too impulsively and just reacted on his own. His big explosion inside a building is also a stupid tactic." Bakugo couldn't say anything about that, "Next, Ochako. She just relied on Izuku. If she hadn't gotten the knife from him, she'd be finished. But she was able to react well against Hanta." ,which depresses Ochako, "Then Hanta follows. He did well. It was wise of him to secure the bomb and then the room. He was surprised by the quick finds, but you wouldn't have expected something like that." ,which makes him happy, "Izuku did best. He was good at coordinating everything. Although I sense a grudge in him, he acted judiciously in switch the arena. So the bomb could not cause any damage in a real operation. He has a good handle on his emotions."

The students and All Might are buff. Tenko notes that. "Did you catch everything or was that too much for you, All Might."

"I could get it all. But that was more than I rated. That's what I should have expected from someone with a recommendation."

Momo then says with pride: "We have to get on well with ourselves if we want to become top heroes."

"Alright then, let's move on. Tenko, if you please?"

"With pleasure! Next Hero Team B vs Villain Team C. We will move the battle ground to another building so you don't have an advantage over the first team and because the building is too damaged. We'll continue doing that with the next fight until the end."

The villain team are at the bomb. Mina then says, "What a coincidence that we're both a team, Eijiro."

"Do you think the teacher knew about our middle school days together?"

"Then he gave us a nice advantage. We can work well together and we just have to buy time."

"One of the opponents is one with recommendation. We shouldn't underestimate him." argues Eijirou uneasily.

"Do not worry. We as a team are unbeatable." She is full of hope, which gives the boy courage.

"The second house fight begins."

Tenya runs ahead as a scout. He sees Eijirou standing in front of a door and reports it to Shoto. Eijirou sees him and is about to attack him when suddenly an ice wave begins to hit the building. It was covered with many layers of ice and the opponents were frozen. It comes from Shoto.

The surveillance room people also feel the cold and shiver except for Tenko, who doesn't mind the cold. "The boy is good. He pinned down the villains without harming his teammates or the bomb. He really deserves the recommendation. The exercise will be over soon"

The students are impressed and even Bakugo is buff. 'I don't stand a chance against him.'

But Tenko disagrees. "Don't be so hasty. He's impressive, but the ice has created more problems than it solved." The others are confused.

"I'll explain it to you. 1. For a boy with hardening, a cold snap would only intensify it and is also used to being frozen" As argued, Eijirou broke out of the cold torpor and was able to punch Tenya through his armor with his frozen hard fists. "My fist is so hard now and I don't even have to try." the red boy rejoices.

Tenya escapes to lure the boy away, which works. He uses his engine to keep the boy from catching up with him. "2. Although Tenya's engine increases speed, it has weak maneuverability, which makes the ice even worse. In short, Tenya loses control of his quirk there, which is fatal in the narrow hallways." As predicted, Tenya loses control and crashes into a wall. Eijirou has no problem with the ice. Possibly because he puts more power on his feet and so has a better grip.

'I'm not allowed to use my engine on this ice or I'll hurt myself.' Tenya thought, trying to deal with it without it. He sees Eijirou approaching and tries to kick him out. However, he swung too far and the kick hits the wall next to him. The Tough Boy takes advantage and hits him a second time. Tenya slides backwards and his head hits the wall where he crashed by the engine earlier. Eijirou tries to punch him in the face, but Tenya dodges and it lands on the wall. He dents it and Tenya attempts a straight kick at it. The hardening left Tenya in more pain than it caused and Eijirou smacks the foot that was hit and another one hits him, causing Tenya to slide far backwards.

The blow injured Tenya's leg and so he has trouble walking. 'I don't stand a chance against him' thought Tenya and only tried to stop Eijirou and trust that Shoto would reach the bomb.

After a minute or two, Shoto will be in front of the door with the bomb. He enters the room and feels a heat in there. The floor is soaked, the room is full of steam and the bomb is encased in a jelly.

"And 3. Mina's acid has the same effect as fire, which is effective against the ice."

"Then Shoto is at a disadvantage with his ice cream." argues Momo.

"You're right. But Shoto still has his fire and with that he has a good chance against Mina because the fire would burn the acid."

'Although I doubt he uses it given his costume. He must have been traumatized by it. However, if you want to go far, you have to put such trauma behind you. I know from experience,' thinks Tenko.

The heat is actually bringing up old wounds for Shoto. He is suddenly attacked by an acid and dodges. It comes from Mina.

"Hello handsome guy! I'll melt away your clothes so I can see your amazing bodies." she calls.

She shoots another acid at him. He repels it with a wall of ice, instantly freezing the wet ground. He turned the room into an ice rink. Mina jumps up to escape the icing and slides through the ice with acid on her feet. She quickly reached Shoto and was able to meet in a punch. He takes advantage of it and slides through the room on a homemade ice rink. Mina throws acid on the way and interrupts the track. Shoto then rolls through the ground and shoots several ice spikes at Mina. She elegantly dodges the attack and slides back to Shoto. She smears her fists in acid, only to be grabbed by Shoto and dragged onto a wall. He quickly touches her with his ice hand and freezes her onto the wall.

"No, no, it's not over yet." screamed Mina while Shoto ran towards the bomb. Kirishima hears it over the radio receiver, breaks off the fight against Tenya and runs back to Mina. Tenya is too hurt to stop him. 'This time I won't let Mina down.' Eijirou thinks.

Shoto grabs the jelly from the bomb with his ice hand. His hand burns, but his fire resistance relieves it. "It's over." he says while freezing all the jelly.

Mina tries with all her strength to activate her acid on her whole body. 'I have to free myself, no matter what happens now.' she thinks desperately and the ice is now smoking.

Shoto has frozen all the jelly and breaks it up. His hand is almost close to the bomb as the door smashes open and Shoto is then pushed away. Apparently Eijirou made it. Shoto quickly gets to his feet and freezes Eijirou's feet with his foot. However, he is freed by Mina's acid and she throws an acid at him, which hits his ice coating. Eijirou looks at Mina and blushes.

"Mina, do you know what about your costume?" he asks embarrassedly and she looks down. The strong acid she used to free her was too much for her acid-resistant costume, causing some big holes and showing a lot of skin now.

You can also see them in the surveillance room. Den Denki, Mineta and Hanta are grateful while the other boys look away except for Tenko and Bakugo who are unimpressed. "How uncomfortable,"argues Momo. The girls tell the boys to look away. The Perv Boys refuse while Tenko says, "When this happens in real life, there's no time to cover up. When human lives are at stake, one should forget one's shame, because it is better to show one's naked body than to let someone die. All Might, kindly look at the monitor! You can bring her the spare costume after the exercise, I brought it with me as a precaution, but now you, the teacher, should watch the exercise."

All Might agrees with him and continues to watch. Momo asks: "How can her costume be damaged when it's immune to it?"

Tenko explains that too: "Just because your costume is resistant doesn't mean it can withstand all. Her costume only has a high limit to acid and of course if the acid exceeds it it can be destroyed, which can happen if you go Plus Ultra."

Mina is ashamed of the disclosure, but forgets it for now. "You may watch Eijirou, the main thing is that we won the match."

He accepts this and forgets about Mina's damaged costume.

Shoto's ice sheet flakes off and notices fire forming underneath. 'No! What am I doing? I can't become like him.' he thought angrily and fired a large salvo of ice at the two of them. Eijirou stands in front of Mina and absorbs the full force for her.

When the attack stops, Mina is unharmed, but his protector is frozen standing. His body is completely rigid and he cries trembling, "II ccould pprotect yyou." Mina cries and says thank you. 'I will end it for you no matter what happens to me or what I reveal today.'

Coating herself in an even stronger acid, she melts through the ice and sees Shoto running to the bomb. She fires a large powerful acid beam at him. He notices the attack and fires a wave of ice at them at full power. It's much colder than his previous ones and freezes all the acid along with Mina. She can't move anymore and he touches the bomb with his badly frozen arm.

"The hero team won." calls All Might, takes Tenko's spare costume and runs to the location while Tenko turns off the cameras. "Shoto is incredible. He was at a disadvantage against the villains, but he was still able to defeat the two at once and touch the bomb alone. He also only used his ice," says Momo with admiration.

Shoto runs to the layer of ice and melts it with his fireside. The two are free again and Mina, still coated in her acid, quickly hugs his partner. Shoto runs out of the room, leaving the two alone. He encounters All Might and asks him not to go in. Since the cameras are off, he leaves the couple alone, placing the spare costume by the door and the two check on Tenya.

The hug embarrasses Eijirou. "What's that for, Mina?"

"When I saw you so stiff, I was afraid for you. You're like a normal friend to me."

He is embarrassed by the words and now hugs Mina too. He suddenly feels a lot of softness and nothing of the costume. "Mina, I think your costume is gone."

She lets go of the hug, looks down and sees her completely naked body. Her last acid completely etched her costume away. Tenko radioed her that the cameras are off and that a replacement costume is at the door.

'He's the only one who sees me like this now. Kind of makes me think of that.'

Eijirou looks away, Mina grabs his face and reveals her whole body.

"I don't mind if you see everything. I even like it when an old friend sees me like that. I look my best like this."

He sees her whole body and is all red in the face. "I'm still a man. That's something a man should only see in his girlfriend and we're not a couple."

She walks to the door and gives him another look at her back.

"You're right, we're not a couple. Still, I like it when you see my naked body." she says with a giggle. She takes the costume out front and puts her clothes back on.

'She's just so crazy. In a good way.' thought Eijirou, smiling, 'still that's a lot for my manhood, at least for now.'

The two leave where the others are waiting and march back to class. By the way, Tenya sprained her ankle during the exercise. But since he doesn't want to miss classes, they built him a crutch. They continue with the rest of the exercises.

When they're done, everyone gathers outside. Some are really injured, but all can still attend class and only go to the infirmary afterwards. "I hereby end the lesson. Remember this experience for your further development."

Asui remarks, "Somehow the exercise was harder than I thought. There have been some injuries."

"The first injuries only make you strong! So I must report the assessment to young Midoriya. So I say goodbye." and rushes away.

He leaves the class and Tenko alone. Tenko also wanted to go, but Tenya stopped him. "They said at the beginning that they adjusted the line-up because of a concept. What kind of concept was it." The other classmates are surprised by the question. You completely forgot about it during the exercise.

"You could still remember it after the exercise. I am impressed!"

"Thanks sir! I just want to make sure everything goes according to plan."

"I wanted to show you all how tough fighting villains can be. It can be demeaning, challenging, hurtful, make you aware of your weaknesses and above all it should develop understanding towards the opponent. I also wanted to test a theory."

"A theory! What theory?"

"I read it from a book written by a villain. I just wanted to understand his motives. If you heroes fight a villain without trying to understand him, then you only be puppets of the state. If you want to know more about the book, the theory, and the villain, I can teach a lesson about the villains in another class. Provided you are mentally mature enough to endure it. "I also admit that my symbol of peace gives people a little too much hope, but it is necessary so that villains do not rampage. But no worry. I have no plans to make Izuku the next symbol of peace. I also gave my word. He should only bear this great power responsibly in his own way."

"Izuku calms me down, but I don't like using the symbol to suppress the villains. A hero should save people, not oppress them. Some people are villains just because of the dire circumstances. So you're no better than All for One."

"I don't disagree with you there. I would like to bring villains back to the light, but unfortunately I don't know how."

Tenko isn't satisfied and runs out of the room angrily, but he says beforehand: "If the only thing that impresses you is your quirk you got from someone else, then without you you're just a nobody and a loser."

Recovery Girl overheard everything.

"He's pretty pissed off."

"Understandable. He's kind of right. I also want to help, but I can only bring power and hope and that's a painful fact. Not being able to do anything when someone needs help really hurts."

Izuku was treated afterwards and is able to participate in classes again. Because he has fast stamina recovery, Recovery Girl was able to treat his arms without risk. He thinks turns the confrontation against Kat-chan. 'Strong emotions were exchanged and that's why I need to talk to him again.'

When he enters the classroom, he is greeted by the other students.

"Your fight against Bakugo was really manly."

"I'm surprised at your skill in combat. I would have expected that from the best in the entrance exam."

"You were really cool and strong."

The students introduce themselves one by one. The boy with the bird's head named Fumikage Tokoyami sits on the table, which Tenya doesn't like at all. Ochako and Denki come out the other door with some books.

"Hey Ochako! Do you want to eat together? What's your favorite food?"

"Um mochi." She sees Izuku and quickly runs to him. Denki is offended and asks another girl. "Deku, are you alright? You had suddenly passed out and how did you get the burns."

"Don't worry Ochako. I just used too much energy and my burn came from making the diamond bracer. I was able to keep the heat off Arm, but it was too much for me in the heat of the moment."

Izuku sees Bakugo's empty desk. "Where is kat-chan?"

"We wanted to stop him but he just went home." Izuku now runs to him quickly. Ochako quickly puts the books somewhere and follows him. She has to make herself lighter to keep up with him.

Izuku catches up with him in front of the building, followed by Ochako who is out of breath. 'Izuku is fast and persistent'

"What do you want, nerd? Still want to brag about your win or make fun of the bully?"

"No, I want to apologize. I have denied you my true strength. You were always so strong, so fast and so smart. I've always admired that. As I train more strength, I see your superiority less and less and that scares me. I'm afraid I won't be able to see the kat-chan who can do anything and whom I admire, so I've always suppressed my strength in your presence. Today I have a goal and that's why I must to defeat you. I want to apologize for that too. I hope you are no longer offended."

Bakugo is angry now. Bakugo then says with tears. "I don't need your apology. That you hid your strength, I forgot about this problem long ago. I lost to you. That's a fact. When I saw the ice guy I thought I didn't stand a chance against him and I couldn't disagree with what the ponytail girl said about me. Damn damn. It's not over yet, have you hear Deku. I'm just at the beginning. I won't lose to you or the ice guy and I'll become the absolute number 1."

Izuku notices the seriousness on his face. "Then try it. I won't hold back any longer either. I have a goal to achieve and I will do everything to achieve it." Izuku replies with sincerity.

Ochako heard the seriousness of both of them. "Then good luck to you both. I will cheer for your fight. I will cheer for you too, Bakugo."

Katsuki is confused. "Who are you, moon face, and what do you want?"

"I just admire rivalry among men. Don't be sad about defeat. As you said, this is just the beginning. You want to get stronger now to be number 1. Then show us all your future strength and fight against Deku. I'm sure it will be legendary." she says smiling and pointing a fist at him.

Bakugo has often received praise for his superiority in the past. It wasn't a lie, but there was something hypocritical about it. Moon Face's praise was different. It wasn't a bit of hypocrisy. It was filled with respect and expectations for more. It's demands him and he likes it.

"Then watch carefully, moon face. I will show you the strength of the hero who wants to make it to the top." replies Bakugo with a grin, clenches his fist on hers and leaves.

Izuku is happy and surprised at the development. He never thought that Ochako would get along well with Kat-chan. Suddenly Ochako stares at him.

"We're a good team and friends who trust each other completely, aren't we?"

"Of course we are partners and friends. I might not have made it without you."

"Then I want to know something from you."

"What then?"

"Why don't you want to use your quirk on me to make us both stronger. I really don't mind if you know something about me." she says with full seriousness on her face.

"It's a bit awkward and embarrassing."

"I will endure it. No matter how uncomfortable or painful it is, I won't hate you because I know you're a good person." Izuku is touched and tells her all about his problem.

Meanwhile in a dark area of Kamino. Tenko walks into an underground bar and is greeted by a misty figure.

"How was school, Tomura?"

"It was quite fun and interesting, especially the students. That's why it pains me to attack them to destroy the symbol of peace."

"So you will finally get into action. The others have been hoping for a long time that Tomura Shigaraki will finally act."

"Then we want to tell you the news." answers Tomura smiling and it opens a portal in which he enters. "It's time to step onto the field."

Note: Sorry it took too long but it was a busy time at work and didn't have time for it. The chapter is even longer than the others.

I will soon create a bonus chapter where I describe the fight of the other teams if you feel like it and then I will start to give the villains more focus.
