Stephanie resurfaced with a Kotemon and Kouji immediately ran towards her, pulling them both out of the water. "You got to get out of here." he ordered and Stephanie looked at him with a haunted look. "What?"
"There's a lot of the in the water." she warned. "Their movement is making the wave form."
"Is that's true, then we have to get out of here. We won't be able to survive this," said Tai.
Kouji, Stephanie, Amy, Kouichi, Matt, Takuya and their Digimon nodded. But some shouting cause them to turn towards the source.
Everyone who was able to fight, (except for Cody and Armadillomon) was running towards them. And Takuya gasped when behind them, a small army of Sombras was right behind them not too far away.
"Tai, what do we do?" Izzy demanded.
"How can we beat them?" Mimi asked worryingly.
Aquilamon landed not too far and Yolei ran towards them. "They're in the air, too!"
"Oh my gosh, she's right!"
"There's too many of them!"
"Yeah!"
"Should we run too?" Tommy muttered and Takuya frowned.
"Don't say that, Tommy! We got this! We just have to work together."
"Taki's right." said Tai and held up a fist. "We have to get rid of these Sombras whither we like it or not! So we might as well get rid of these while we're at it. We'll each have each other's back so we're not alone."
Davis nodded and turned towards Veemon. "Ready to kick some ass?"
"Yesh!" Veemon cheered.
Tai looked at the ocean, air and land, trying to think of a plan since they were totally surrounded. He then smirked. "Here's the plan. Amy, you digivolve and take Stephanie and Kotemon somewhere safe. Wait, where's my sister and the others?"
"They're in the forest." said Jp. "I know where they are."
"Okay then. Amy, since the air is probably not a good idea to fly, you'll didigvolve and go on the ground. Take Jp to show you the way and take Stephanie and Kotemon to safety. Stay in the forest and Jp, you protect them."
"I think Cody's there too." said Tentomon.
Tai grinned. "Even better! Then Jp and Cody with Armadillomon will protect them and Amy will come back. Sora, you and Biyomon, along with Davis, Veemon, Yolei, Aquilamon, Zoe and Amy, when she gets back will take care of the air. Izzy, Tentomon, Joe and Gomamon will get in the water, or fly above it, and take out as many Sombras from the water as you possibly can to try and stop them from making that wave. Everyone else, take care of the rest."
"Got it?" asked Takuya and everyone nodded.
Tai looked at both Joe and Sora, who were the ones who held the Concordia and Serperantus Emblems. They smiled in return. "Let's do this."
The three of them held up the three Emblems and the emblems glowed, giving everyone the ability to digivolve. Everyone then rose up their Digivices and called out their digivolutions.
"Agumon digivovle to...Greymon!"
"Veemon digivolve to...ExVeemon!"
"Gabumon digivolve to...Garurumon!"
"Palmon digivolve to...Togamon!"
"Biyomon digivolve to...Birdramon!"
"Tentomon digivolve to...Kabuterimon!"
"Gomamon digivolve to...Ikkakumon!"
"Execute! Spirit evolution! Agunimon!"
"Execute! Spirit evolution! Lobomon!"
"Execute! Spirit evolution! Kazemon!"
"Execute! Beast Spirit evolution! Korikakumon!"
"Execute! Beast Spirit evolution! Cypetramon!
The heroes stood up proudly as Stephanie and Kotemon gasped. "Wow..."
"Get on!" ordered Cypetramon and laid down on the sand. Jp, Stephanie and Kotemon climbed aboard.
"Sora and her group take the skies!" yelled Tai from upon Greymon's head. "Everyone else, help clear a path! Don't split up until Cypetramon has left!
"Let's move out!" Sora commanded and Birdramon spread her mighty wings and the ones assigned to the skies left.
Garurumon, Kabuterimon and Togamon moved to the front and when Takuya gave the signal, they charged.
Katashimon was at the front of the Sombras along with a DarkDarcmon and Dinohyumon. She smirked when she saw the group moved towards them.
DarkDarcmon chuckled darkly. "Stupid kids."
"They must know that we can't be beat." smirked Dinohyumon.
Katashimon rolled her eyes. "Instead of chatting, maybe you guys should do the same." Leaving them to their glares, Katashimon turned and faced the various Sombras and servants. "Attack!"
"Vivat Bashimon Dominus!" the Sombras and servants said in union and Katashimon stood in place as the Sombras moved around her to fight.
Let's see you 'heroes' beat this many Sombras. thought Katashimon and laughed.
Cypetramon dodged a sword and jumped above a Sombra. Around her, her friends fought their hardest as they tried to clear a path, but the enemy was starting to seem a bit tough.
"Keep going!" shouted Agunimon and punched a Rabbitmon servant in the face.
Stephanie yelped as a fireball was fired and ducked, barely missing her. "We're gonna get fried!" she yelled into Cypetramon's fur. Cypetramon's seven tails separated into a circle and its tips started to glow.
"Sonic Wave!"
A sound wave hit some servants, making way and Cypetramon took that chance to run faster.
Finally she was out of danger.
From, top of of Garurumon's back, Matt looked towards the running fox and smirked. "They're out!"
"Perfect." smirked Lobomon and took out his light-saber, beams of light peeking out from both sides. "Lobo Kendo!"
(In the skies)
Sora held on to Birdramon's feathers as Birdramon dove down and around a Sombra Angemon before using an attack. "Meteor Wing!" Small meteors were fired and the Sombra Angemon dodged them, using an attack of his own.
"Hand of Faith!" A beam of light was aimed at them and Sora gasped as Birdramon didn't have enough time to react.
A pink blur was seen and Sora watched as Kazemon threw herself as them, pushing them out of danger's way. The beam whooshed by and ExVeemon stepped in. "Vee Laser!"
Sombra Angemon was destroyed and they moved on to the next one.
Kazemon watched as below her, Yolei and Aquilamon caught the attention of three flying servants, making them follow them. "Yolei!"
Yolei looked up and smiled. "Let's go up!" she said to Aquilamon and he nodded. He flapped his wings and they headed upward. The servants followed their lead, side by side, and flew upwards as well. Kazemon got ready and when the time was right, she stopped flying.
Kazemon plummeted down towards Yolei and her bait and Aquilamon then took a sharp turn towards the left. The three servants realized their plan too late.
"Roseo Temporale! Hurricane Wave!" Kazemon's foot met up with the servant in the middle and started to rapidly kick it in the face. At the same time, she spread our her arms and hurricanes hit the side servants. All three groaned and to Kazemon's glee, they got beaten.
"Great job, Zoey!" yelled Davis.
Kazemon giggled and winked, holding up two fingers as the Digieggs floated down towards the ground.
(In the water)
Ikkakumon swam down in the water as above the ocean, Kabuterimon held both Izzy and Joe.
Ikkaumon narrowed his eyes as he spotted the Sombras and servants swimming towards the shore in a line. "You really think you can get away with this?" he yelled.
From above, Joe and the others could see the images of the bad guys. "I see about...twelve or thirteen." said Kabuterimon.
Izzy sighed in relief. "I thought there was more."
Joe peeked over the edge and held up a fist. "Ikkaumon? You know what to do!"
Ikkakumon was able to hear his partner perfectly well and chuckled. "Got it, Joe!" He lowered down his head and pointed his sharp horn towards one of the Sombras. "Harpoon Torpedo!"
The horn was fired and the Sombra was able to dodge it, but Ikkumon was able to see that the wave wavered a bit. Izzy noticed as well and patted Kabuterimon's back. "Just keep firing, Kabuterimon! Each time you fire, the wave gets a bit messed up."
Kabuterimon held out his arms and flew above the enemy line. Electricity formed between them. "Electro Shocker!"
The plan seemed to work as the Sombras and servants were hit from both in and out of the water. To their glee, the wave was ruined and the wave was far from being dangerous.
"Yeah!" Joe cheered. "Time to take them out!"
(In the forest)
Impmon growled as one of the nine Sombras who was in front of them took a step.
"Impmon." warned Nova quietly.
Kouichi slowly moved to the side next to Ken, leaning in. "Ken..." he whispered. "When I say 'now', I want you to take Lili and the Digimon and run."
Ken had absolutely no idea was Kouichi was planning to do, but he had trust in him. "Okay."
Kouichi then leaned his head back, catching the brunette's attention. "Lili, I'm gonna let you down. Don't freak out. Ken'll take care of you."
"K-Kouichi?" asked Lili worried. "What are you-"
The Sombra took another step and Kouichi sprung into action. He bent down in a flash and let go of Lili, making her fall on her back on the forest floor. He then threw up his hands, palms out towards the Sombras and to everyone's shock, a solid wall of darkness separated them from the Sombras.
Patamon gasped. "H-How did he..?!"
Kouichi looked back at them. "NOW!"
Ken took Lili on his back and began to run. "EVERYONE, LET'S GO!"
The Digimon who were with them was in shock, but they followed. Cody and Armadillomon followed.
"Guys!" Kouichi commanded as he kept holding up his hands. "Attack them!"
"Impmon!" yelled Nova and Impmon held up his hands, flames upon his fingers. "Bada Boom!"
"Boom Bubble!" Patamon let out an air bullet and both attacks went through the wall of darkness and both boys cheered silently when they heard cries of pain.
Kouichi nodded approvingly. "Run and attack, okay?!"
The three teens got what he meant and when Kouichi let down his hands, the wall disappearing, got ready. The Sombra were caught back as Patamon, Gatomon and Impmon faced them.
Gatomon smirked when the Sombras glared. "Cat's Eye Hypnotism!" She caught the Sombras' eyes with a piercing glare and to everyone's surprise, the Sombras began to attack each other.
"When did you have that attack?" asked Kari.
"Since forever!" said Gatomon. "Now, come on! We don't have much time!"
The teens and their Digimon left before Gatomon's attack wore off and when it did, it left the Sombras in rage.
"Vivat Bashidamon Dominus!" they yelled and chased after them.
"Where are they?" Cypetramon asked.
Jp jumped down from her back and looked around where Kouichi and the others were just a few minutes ago. "What the hell? They were here!"
Stephanie jumped down as well and carried Kotemon down. She looked around, frowning. "Well, they're not here now..."
Suddenly, Kotemon gulped. "M-Ms. Stephanie?" he whined.
Cypetramon sensed someone else there and growled. 'Damn it.'
Jp and Stephanie gasped when Katashimon stood facing them with a sick grin, leaning on a tree trunk.
"Why so surprised?" asked Katashimon innocently as she held up a knife.
Jp held up his D-Tector, ready to digivolve but Katashimon held up a finger, stopping him.
"Um..no, no, no. I don't want to fight you." Katashimon's icy eyes looked over at the fox. "You won't be worth my time."
"You want to fight me?" Cypetramon demanded to know and Katashimon shrugged.
"I'll be entertaining. And certainly, pleasing when I kick your ass."
Cypetramon glared. "Jp, take Steph and Kotemon out of here. I'll take care of this kitty."
Jp nodded and started to lead Stpehanie and the Rookie Digimon away. Cypetramon made sure her friends were far away and then lifted her up head, data streams illuminating her.
"Cypetramon! Slide evolution! Sirenmon!"
Data streams vanishing, Sirenmon took her bow from her back and held it in front of her. Katashimon sighed, as if bored already, and pushed herself off the tree. Both girls stood in a fighting position and waited to see who would throw the first attack.
"RAHH!" yelled Katashimon and ran towards Sirenmon.
Sirenmon ran towards her as well and both girls came face to face, beginning the fight.
TAI: Ooo, a chick fight!
KATASHIMON: Yeah! And I'm gonna win!
KOUJI: Waht the hell are you doing here?!
KATASHIMON: MWAHAHAHAHA!
AQUA: *comes in with glass water* Hey, guys what's- HOLY MOTHER!
*water drops from hands and wets Katashimon's feet*
KATASHIMON: AHHHHH! *runs*
AQUA: 0-0
KATASHIMON: WHAT A WORLD, WHAT A WORLD!
KOUJI: Isn't that line from the Wizard of Oz?
TAI: Must have watched the movie?
AQUA: Okay? Anyway, hoped you enjoyed!
