Chapter 9 The League of Villains Attacks

It's the next day after the class president's election. It's a rainy day and Izuku is walking to school with an umbrella. According to the weather forecast it will rain all day. On the way, he encountered Tsuyu without an umbrella.

"Hello Asui! Did you forget your umbrella today?" greets Izuku.

"Ah Midoriya, I don't own an umbrella because I like the rain, kero. You can call me Tsuyu."

"Um, Tsuyu." Then Izuku blushes. "Calling you by your first name makes me embarrassed. We barely know each other."

"At least I know you well. I saw you at the combat test and you were really good. That's why I voted for you."

Izuku is embarrassed. "Um thanks. Wait, you voted for me!?"

"Hey, you two!" they hear and recognize Ochako with an umbrella. "I saw you two and wanted to join. So what were you talking about?"

Izuku starts. "Apparently Asui voted me class president."

This surprises Ochako. "For real? I chose him because he guided me well in the exam and generally deserved the place, but why did you choose him?"

"I saw his performances in the fight trial. He was able to hold his own against a strong opponent and skillfully guide you to the bomb."

Then Ochako tells the same. "I didn't see his performances against Bakugo, but I could see his performances in the entrance exam. He carried me on his back and destroyed the big robot at the same time." Carrying the piece on your back made Ochako blush briefly, and so did Izuku.

"He's really impressive. He can turn coal into diamonds of any shape and perform powerful air attacks. Say Midoriya, how could you spend such feats?"

Izuku blushes from all the praise. "I was able to get to that level through really hard training."

"I envy your training. I used to have to take care of my siblings, so I can't train properly like you do."

"I wish you could share the experience of my training, you were an incredible hero, but unfortunately that's impossible." says Izuku.

Ochako thinks and then replies, "That might be possible."

"Huh?!" they both ask if it's really possible.

"Deku can develop his skills from experience. Maybe it works the other way around."

Izuku thinks and mumbles. "Share my experience with others?! It's true that I can absorb other people's experiences and share the experiences of their ancestors with those people, but I've never shared my experience with others. To be honest, I've never tried it either. I've only tested my Quirk on my mother and once on Tenko. My classmates didn't like having their memories tampered with, and I never had any friends until Juuei." Izuku has become sad and has stopped mumbling.

Ochako and Tsuyu heard all his mumbling and also find it sad that he couldn't make friends. Ochako then says, "Don't take it to heart. You now have Tenya and I as friends. So look forward to your first friends."

"And please include me, Ochako-chan, Izuku-chan, kero."

Izuku is happy and is now crying by the gallon if that's even possible.

"Is what you mumbled before true? You can develop other skills of your own for your quirk through experience, kero?"

"Yes, that's true. However, a recent event in girls limits that." At that, Izuku and Ochako blushed, "And in general, I find it rude to read other people's memories and learn their secrets."

"I have no problem if you know everything about me. You're a good person, Izuku-chan, so you can confide in anything. But why is that restricted to girls?"

At these questions, Izuku blushes and Ochako responds for him with a red face as well. "That answer is a little embarrassing and uncomfortable for Izuku."

The three see the school and quickly run inside. Once inside, Izuku and Ochako place their umbrellas on their stand. Tsuyu walks down the hall with his clothes soaking wet. "Aren't you uncomfortable with wet clothes?" asks Ochako.

"Pretty much, so I wanted to wear a diver's bodysuit for my costume so it doesn't stick. I like standing in the rain, I've even walked around in the garden, but I don't like sticky clothes, kero."

One thing surprises Ochako. "You often like standing in the rain, even though you can't stand wet clothes?! You really like the rain."

"When I'm out in the rain for fun, I usually run naked or sometimes in a bikini, kero."

At this point, Izuku blushes and asks with foreboding. "Um, how often do you walk naked in the rain?"

"Every rainy day and when I'm home alone, which is more and more often since my siblings are with their friends when I'm home. Feeling water on my completely bare skin is what I like the most, which is why I prefer nudity too, kero."

Izuku blushed even more and he feared it. "Tsuyu, you wanted to know why my quirk is limited with girls. It's because of all the naked moments that I also have to watch to develop my skills."

The three walk to the classroom. "You are uncomfortable seeing girls naked. My family also find it uncomfortable when I'm naked in the rain, so I wear a bikini when people are home, kero."

Then Ochako asks: "And with you. Don't you get embarrassed when someone sees you naked?"

"A little with strangers, but otherwise I'm not embarrassed if someone sees me naked. Izuku-chan is welcome to look at everything, kero." Tsuyu says, making Izuku blush and Ochako a little jealous. They enter the classes and follow the lessons. During the lunch break, they introduce Tsuyu to Tenya and the four then chat together. Then at the Hero Foundation Training, Mr. Aizawa has the floor. "Today All Might, another hero and I will be leading this class. You will go through rescue drills."

"It's going to be a lot of work." complains Denki. Some students are happy, including Izuku.

Aizwawa scowls and the students are silent. "Whether or not you're allowed to take your hero costumes with you is up to you, but keep in mind that some of them can hinder your abilities."

The students change their clothes and meet outside. Izuku is wearing his diamond bracers this time, and his pockets are filled with coal again.

Tenya demands that everyone line up, which he could have saved himself in the end since the seats face each other in the middle and only the front and back seats face forward. Izuku sits on the right side in the middle between Tsuyu, Fumikage, and Ochako, Shoto. Tenya sits across from Izuku and rubs his head at his futility earlier. To his left is Eijirou and Denki, and to his right is Mina, who is making fun of Tenya, and Ayoama. In the back Katsuki sits alone, Momo with Kyouka and Minoru with Hanta. Then follows Mashiro who is sitting next to Tooru with a dead face, Rikidou next to Mezo and Kouji.

Eijirou has the floor. "Izuku, Tenko told us about your quirk yesterday." Then Katsuki pricks up his ears. "You can delve into other people's memories and learn new skills. Your Quirk is really powerful."

Izuku blushes. Tsuyu then whispers in his ear, "Don't worry. He didn't say anything about the restriction on us girls." This relieves Izuku. Izuku looks at his hand. "It's powerful, although it would have been even more powerful if I had friends who could confide in me anything, but I only had my mother and Tenko."

"You know Tenko, the assistant teacher? How long?" asks Tsuyu.

"We have known each other since I was 4 years old and we see each other as brothers. I got so good through his education."

"He's your brother and instructor?! He has talent if he can develop your skills that far. I envy you for him." Tsuyu says a bit sadly, which Izuku notices.

"Yes! Really enviable to have had a great instructor." says Eijirou, "My quirk isn't that great. I can only harden myself."

That excites Izuku. "But your Quirk is great for protecting people. When you're super tough, you can take anything thrown at you, which makes you invincible."

This makes Eijirou think. "Invincible?! That would be a dream. Unfortunately, I can't give you an impression with that. The really impressive ones are Shoto, Katsuki and you."

Tsuyu argues, "However, Katsuki would not be a good hero. Because he always freaks out quickly."

As confirmed, Katsuki is freaking out. "What did you just say!"

That's where Denki gets involved. "We haven't known each other long, but we all know you're like boiled shit."

"What did you just call me? I'll finish you."

'Kat-chan being bullied by everyone?! I love the Juuei.' Izuku thinks a little happily.

"What vulgar entertainment." Momo complains and Kyouko agrees, but part of her likes it. Ochako thinks it's funny.

"I'll go far with popularity. My navel laser is both powerful and flashy!" says Aoyama, to which Mina replies, "Only if your stomach doesn't hurt." what offends him.

Everyone is at the training ground, which is a huge dome with lots of disasters simulated. It's called the unforeseen Simulation Joint, or U.S.J. for short. Some see this as an amusement park. There is even a size limit. The studio is run by 13, a disaster spacesuit hero who takes pride in his work. This pleases Izuku and Ochako, who are fans of his.

Aizawa looks around and then asks 13, "Where's All Might?"

"He's just prevented." answer 13 with three fingers up.

Meanwhile, Tenko makes himself comfortable on a couch in a room and gambles a bit. In fact, he's a clone telepathically linked to the real ones. Suddenly, All Might comes through the door in his skinny form and Tenko has a hunch. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in USJ?"

"I had to deal with three disasters today, which made my time run out." All Might gets a chair and sits down.

"Please tell me the disasters were so bad that the other heroes can't make it on their own."

All Might is afraid to answer, which confirms Tenko's suspicion and smacks his face. "You are a temporary powerful man and you shouldn't waste that time on small things that would have been solved without your help."

"I am sorry. When people need help, I absolutely have to help, regardless of the consequences. I might make it to the last part of class."

"That would still be the best scenario. The worst thing would be when a disaster occurs where they really need your help but aren't getting it because of your stupidity, like the mud villain."

His words hurt All Might, especially because he's right. "I'm really sorry. I'll try to scale back my help."

Inside, Tenko is happy that his plan worked. He asked some villains to wreak havoc on the town yesterday so All Might spent on it and had an easy time against him. He didn't tell the villains about All Might's secret, also warning them that doing so would get them arrested. It would have been more difficult if they had refused, but he didn't want to force anyone to sacrifice themselves. Some villains are willing to sacrifice themselves for this plan, which makes Tomura proud.

Back at USJ, Aizawa complains about All Might being unreasonable, and 13 continues the class. "Before we start, one more thing or two, three, four..." There will be so many that some have fallen asleep, including Aizawa, while his fans are still ecstatic.

"You all know my quirk. It's called the Black Hole." Izuku explains while Ochako is excited. "Anything your Black Hole sucks up gets pulverized.'' This allows you to clear all obstacles in the way of rescues."

"That's right, but I can easily kill people with it. While society is strict about Quirks, especially in public, remember that your Quirks are so strong that you can easily kill people even if you're not careful. With Aizawa you learned the power of your quirks and with All Might you felt using it against a human. Today we show you how you can save lives with it. These powers are there to help people, not hurt them. That was the end of my speech." He gets applause for the lecture.

Before they start the lesson, a dark fog suddenly appears and many people appear. Aizawa and 13 prepare to fight. The students think it's part of the exercise, but Aizawa says, "Stop, don't move. These are villains." The students get scared and he puts on his glasses.

Tomura emerges from the fog, with gray hair, a wrinkled face and many hands on his body. A large monster follows as accompaniment, showing its brain and the fog disappears. 'That must be Tenko's attack, which he caused a commotion for yesterday,' Izuku thinks to himself in fear.

"Why doesn't the alarm go off Sensei?!" asks Momo.

"You must be active, but..." says No. 13

Shoto explains, "Whether they just showed up here or at the school, if the alarm doesn't go off it means they must have someone jamming the sensors. An isolated location of the school at the time of a lesson. These villains are not stupid. This attack is carefully planned and yesterday's incident is likely part of the preparation."

Aizawa is in charge now. "No. 13, Evacuate the students and inform the teachers. You may be interfering with the alarm with radio waves. Kaminari, try to reach the school with your Quirk."

Denki does what he says, but he panics. "I can't reach the school. Maybe the police. What's the police number again?!" which annoys Kyouka and yells at him to shut up.

Izuku suspects what Aizawa is up to. "Do you want to compete alone against them all? Even if they can neutralize their quirks, it's their fighting style to tie them up afterwards, which is useless in a frontal attack against crowds."

'And, if Tenko is the opponent, he will target them since they cripple his immortality.'

But Eraserhead encourages him. "You think a hero can only do one trick. 13, protect the children." The hero confirms and he storms off. Some attack him, but Eraserhead neutralizes their Quirk, tying them up with bandages and slamming into each other. A tall one explains his quirk and wonders if it also works on mutants like him. He attacked him and the hero said no, but said that according to statistics such guys are strong in hand-to-hand combat, against which he has a remedy. He knocks him up, grabs him with his bandages, and throws him to the ground while dodging all attacks.

Tomura explains, "So he's strong in melee combat and since he's hiding his eyes with his goggles, there's no way of knowing who he's neutralizing. Attacking him in groups will disrupt cooperation. I always knew professional heroes are the most annoying. You don't stand a chance against him in bulk."

'At least it seems so.' Tomura thinks.

Izuku is somewhat calmed and flees with the others when the mist villain appears and introduces himself. "We are the rogue league. We may seem cocky, but Tomura planned everything to kill All Might. He even knew he probably won't be there, making it even easier for us to kill him."

Katsuki and Eijirou attack him, but he knew about it and sent them through a portal, saying beforehand, "Even this attack he foresaw. He explained to me exactly how to deal with you." He envelops the whole class and sends him to different parts of USJ. He started with Tenya and Mezo because they were able to save the others and so everyone was sent away except for No. 13, which he was able to prevent with his black hole.

Izuku falls out of the portal onto an open area. He supports himself with his hands and looks around. He is in the landslide zone. He sees Tenya and calls out to him. He hears him and what he sees shocks him. "Izuku, do you know what you're touching?" Izuku wonders what he means and his hands feel something soft. 'Wait, I can't believe it...' He looks down, which confirms his thoughts: He's touching girls' breasts and also ochakos and tsuyu's. He quickly realizes, quickly distances himself with a red face and apologizes.

The girls, red-faced, touch their breasts and accept the apology. 'It somehow felt well,' they both think.

Izuku is clear again and worried. 'The villain acted on Tenko's orders without Tenko having to explain anything, thereby not breaking the promise. But why does he want to kill All Might? I know he hates the symbol of peace, but the two seem familiar. Something probably happened between them that I didn't realize.'

Ochako touches him to get his attention. "Are you there?"

"Of course I'm still here. I'm just trying to analyze our situation."

Tenya answers: "I don't see a villain here. We're in a good position."

"Did you say there are no villains here?!" A horrible realization comes to him.

"Yes, I see no villains. Why are you upset?" asked Tenya Izuku.

"Don't you get it? If we're not surrounded by villains, that means they're just in the way, which in turn means our enemy is far more dangerous than the regular villains."

As suspected, out of nowhere the dangerous criminal Muscular jumps up. "You're right. The little fish would have just been caught in the crossfire. Tomura was even able to analyze your relationship with each other and consciously brought you together that you even had a chance against me."

"How does he know about our relationship?!" asks Ochako.

"So," Izuku replies, pointing to a drone. "He's been monitoring us and finding out everything about us, but why is Tsuyu here? We just became friends today."

Tsuyu explains, "I saw Ochako fall into a portal and jumped after her to support her."

"You are a good friend." praises Ochako.

Muscular suddenly attacks Ochako, who is carried away by Tenya. Izuku leaps up and fires fierce balls of air, which he easily handles and his body is covered with muscle fibers. He lunges at Izuku, who he dodges with Tsuyu's tongue, but Muscular smacks the air to change his trajectory and dashes back at Izuku, narrowly dodging with the recoil of his air projectiles and Muscular hitting the ground and surviving.

"His power is overwhelming. He might even be on the same level as All Might." explains Izuku

"You're right, little one. I sparred with one of Tomura's creatures whose power is comparable to All Might. You could say my power is on par with All Might."

'Tenko has a creature equal to All Might's power.' The thought scares him. He has to do it quickly. He charges towards him with his boots and unleashes a boosted punch. He easily dodges it and brings in a counterattack that Izuku deflects with his bracers. Izuku flies backwards, is caught by Tenya and sprints with him to the others. Izuku asks Tenya to quickly touch the two while carrying him, which he immediately implements, suddenly stopping the world at the four and detaching them from their bodies.

Tenya asks, "What happened?"

"I transported us to the memory world where time is much faster than reality."

"Does that mean we're safe?" asks Tsuyu.

"At the moment he is, but eventually Muscular will catch us and he's fast, which means we don't have much time." explains Izuku.

"What should we do about the monster?" Ochako asks in panic.

"I have a plan against him, so listen carefully." The three listen.

Time moves on again and the four distance themselves. Suddenly, Izuku is flying around Muscular at an incredible speed, constantly firing air missiles.

"When time starts running again, you Ochako make me weightless so I can fly pretty fast and he can't catch me. This allows me to fire a lot of small projectiles at him."

"Bring that at all? He could take your fiercest projectile. How are so many supposed to help?" asks Ochako.

"Sometimes quantity trumps quality and that is the case here."

Ochako doesn't know what he means, but she implements the plan. Izuku continues to shoot many small projectiles and they slowly start to have an effect. The ligaments of Muscular's muscles slowly tear. "So that's what you intend to do. The plan isn't bad..." says Musculars with a grin and storms towards Ochako, "but Tomura said: if you're that fast, I should attack the brunette girl."

Ochako is carried piggyback by Tenya and runs back and forth. "The leader must have given him hints, so let's keep Ochako away from the villains."

"I can take care of that." Tenya volunteers, which Izuku doubts he can pull off.

"Is there a problem, Izuku?" Tenya asks.

Tenya is fast, but Muscular catches up easily and is able to deliver a powerful punch to the face, damaging his helmet and causing Ochako to fall, prone and immobilized.

"I don't want to doubt your speed, but Muscular is not an opponent that you can easily outrun. I'm afraid he's faster than you, and by a wide margin. I'll still give you the chance."

'He has that in common. You gave me the chance and I failed. I'm no help.' Tenya thinks in frustration and slaps the floor. Ochako is grabbed by Tsuyu's tongue, placed on her back, and she swims through the air.

"Should Tenya fall, Tsuyu should save you and you make her weightless. If you fly through someone else, you shouldn't have any problems."

"Not really, but can Tsuyu handle zero gravity?" asks Ochako.

"No problem. I've read that weightlessness is like diving in water, only you have air and you have no pressure. Since Tsuyu is an expert in scuba diving, she should be able to do it without any problems, she just has to imagine it as scuba diving."

'Izuku is right. It's really like scuba diving. With her on the team, I can easily rescue people even across the country.'

Muscular leaps high to grab Tsuyu, but she is quickly pulled away by Izuku's attraction and Izuku is now in front of him. 'He can't dodge in the air.' He gathers a lot of air in his bracers and prepares a double boosted punch that hits. With Muscular's muscles weakened, he cannot take the punch easily and falls to the ground at high speed, incapacitated but still conscious. Ochako disables her Quirk, Izuku stands in front of Muscular and roars.

"You are a fierce opponent. You have my respect." says Muscular.

The girls pay attention, but Izuku calms them down. "Don't worry, even if he's still awake, he's not going to get very far with these injuries."

Ochako walks up to Izuku and exclaims enthusiastically, "You defeated a villain with All Might's power! You are incredible, Deku."

"I have to agree, kero. You are really impressive." says Tsuyu.

Izuku is embarrassed. "Thank you, but without you I would never have defeated him. You were great." He then looks sadly at Tenya. 'Except for Tenya, but I won't tell. That would be hurtful.'

Tenya sees his sad face, understands it and bursts into tears. 'I was useless. I've always taken pride in my speed, and today my speed was easily surpassed by the villain and Izuku. It's so frustrating.' He can't look at Izuku anymore.

"I'll check on Aizawa." says Izuku.

"You don't want to..." Ochako says out of concern.

"Don't worry, I'll watch first and then see if he needs any help." He runs to Aizawa and the girls follow him.

The other students also have problems with the villains. Fumikage, Mezo, and Koji landed in the rain/storm zone. It's a small dome where it rains a lot and storms.

They encounter Moonfish, who attacks them with his tooth blade. They were able to dodge the attacks but are on the defensive as they can't get to him. Koji tries to take cover as there isn't much he can do in the rain and he doesn't get in the way of the two. Moonfish notices him and comes with his toothed blades. Before the blades hit him, Mezo intercepts the attack, his extra body parts impaled and he has been slashed multiple times. The blades come back with the meat and Moonfish enjoys his meal. Fumikage and Koji check to make sure he's alright and he's bleeding profusely.

Fumikage says, "Koji, don't come near me, the darkness is taking over and get some light quick." Koji does as he says and Fumikage Shadow now becomes huge and aggressive. The shadow flies straight to Moonfish and breaks through all of his blades. He dodges with the blades, but the shadow is too quick and the shadow throws the villain full force into a building, where he is passed out. Before the shadow does anything bad, Koji comes with a flashlight and uses it to calm Dark Shadow down. Fumikage thanks him and goes to Mr. Aizawa in case he needs help while Koji takes care of Mezo, which he confirms.

Shoto has ended up in the fire zone along with Mashiro and Toru, where there are many villains who don't mind the fire. The fire grates on Shoto's nerves as it is reminiscent of his father and freezes the entire zone in one fell swoop, including his comrades who are only frozen at their feet. The attack also almost froze him and he can barely move. He frees his comrades when blocks of ice suddenly pelt him and the three dodge, but Shoto can barely stand and falls over. The throw comes from Mr. Compress. He compressed many pieces of ice and knew from Tomura that Shoto was freezing the zone and took cover.

Mashiro attacks him, but he dodges his attacks and keeps throwing his pieces of ice or hitting with his stick. Mashiro only distracts him so that Tooru, who has taken off her costume and is sneaking barefoot on the ice, which is not pleasant, sneaks up to him. As she gets close to him, Mr. Compress suddenly grabs her and compresses her into a marble. "Did you really think it would work? I'm a magician, well versed in illusions and invisibility. I knew exactly how to deal with her."

Mashiro desperately tries to save her, but the villain is too quick for him and he gets caught too. He has the two children in his hands when he is suddenly frozen. Shoto is back on his feet and picking up the marbles. "How did you recover so quickly?"

"I just thawed myself with his fire."

That surprises Compress. "I was told you wouldn't use his fire. Have I been deceived?"

"You are not wrong. I didn't want to use his fire, but I'd never forgive myself for letting you run away with my comrades, so I used it even though I didn't like it. So release them or I will shatter your frozen bodies." Mr Compress does as he says and frees them both. Toru hugs Mashiro with relief, which in a way warms him up. The two hide while Shoto goes to Aizawa.

Momo, Kyouka and Denki have landed in the Mountain Zone where they are surrounded by enemies whose leader is Kenji Hikiishi aka Magne. Momo creates a sword for Kyouka and a lance for himself. The guns look Chinese. "Sorry, I was reading the Chronicles of the Three kingdoms yesterday and wanted to try creating the weapons in it." Denki didn't get a gun and is getting scared. He takes cover while the two take care of the villains

Kyouka says to him: "You could help us sometime."

"I can only let the lightning out, not control it, am I supposed to pull you guys in. I have to rely on you." while his body is electrified.

This annoys her and pushes him towards a villain who gets shocked by his hands. "I'm useful after all. Don't worry girls, you can count on me." Suddenly, a fist encased in stone comes down on Denki, only to be smashed by Kyouka's sound waves and the bare fist on Denki, shocking the villain as well. Some villains are caught by Momo's web and Kyouka sends loud sound waves at a row of villains.

"Man Denki, you would have requested something from the support to better control your flashes." says Kyouka and parries a blade with hers.

Momo fends off some villains. "I'm ready. It takes time to create something great." she says and creates a large tarp with which she and Kyouka hide. "It's an insulated tarp, Denki understood."

"I have understood." calls Denki and can fire his lightning bolts without hesitation. With this he has paralyzed almost all villains and himself. Momo comes out with his shirt torn up, making Kyouka blush. "You seem to like wrecking your clothes."

"Only if it is necessary. I can always create new clothes for myself." says Momo and without hesitation takes off her shirt because almost all the men are paralyzed. Unfortunately only almost, because before Momo makes a new one, Kyouka is dressed and in the hands of Magne.

"You are surprised. The bolts were attracted to my magnetic weapon and I didn't get a shock through my insulated gloves. Surrender or the little one is mud." Kyouka pokes the villain's leg with her earlobes to free herself from his grip, but his attraction pulls her back.

"Nice try kid, but I can magnetize girls to the South Pole who will then be attracted to my gun. You can't escape me So big girl put two ropes and give them to me and no dirty tricks, the girl is in trouble."

As requested, she fabricates something, namely a sticky bomb, which she has magnetized, causing it to be immediately attracted to the weapon. Magne notices this and panics and drops Kyouka and the gun while Momo uses the crafted switch to detonate the bomb and break the gun. Magne is angry and attacks Momo. She fabricates a shield to deflect the powerful blows while Kyouka fires her sonic waves at him from afar. He can take it and runs to Kyouka, which Momo stops with a stun gun on him.

Magne is paralyzed and the two are happy. Momo now wants to support Mr. Aizawa and is about to leave when Kyouka remarks that she is making a new shirt first. She completely forgot about that and fought topless. She does this quickly and the two go to Aizawa.

Lastly, Katsuki, Eijirou, Mina and Hanta follow into a collapsed building. They are in the collapse zone. They quickly got rid of the many villains. Eijirou says, "We're supposed to help the others in the building now. I worry about the weak fighters." Mina and Hanta are in, but Katsuki is against. "Save her if you want, but I'll take care of the Nebula villains. We must cut off the escape route for the villains."

"Is this the right moment to go on the attack. Consider what happened in the combat trial. We should save the others first." argues Hanta.

One of the villains attacks, which Bakugo quickly finishes off. "If the villains only send Oberlosern, the others shouldn't have any problems."
