DAYS IN PRISON: 16
As Amy sat underneath the cell window, her hands traced her rib cage, which she could actually feel now. Ever since she's been imprisoned, her energy has been low and the fact that Etemon barely fed them was a big reason why. She was pretty sure she lost a few pounds and that wasn't really a good thing. Her stomach growled and she bit her lip.
"What it like outside?" asked Leomon suddenly.
Amy looked at him in slight confusion. "What do you mean?"
Leomon sighed as he remained sitting down on the floor, legs and arms crossed. "I mean, what's it like outside. I haven't been to your world, remember?"
Amy finally got what he said. She leaned her head back until it reached the wall and took a deep breath. "It's mostly sunny. I mean, there's a few days when it rains like crazy." she said, remembering that one day everyone got caught in the heavy shower. "But other than that, it's fine...and when you look up, you could see this world nearby, almost as close as the moons. I'm pretty sure you can see the other world too. And ever since the Sombras were attacking, there's been ruins of towns and villages. There was this place called Toucanmon Paradise and it was sort of like a resort but it was also another home for the refugees. But now that's in ruins too. And-"
A loud commotion occurred was suddenly heard and all three Digimon looked towards it. Amy stood up and walked towards the railing, where she could see the middle of the prison and the other cells on the same floor, Leomon and BlackWarGreymon watching from either side of her.
"What was that?" asked BlackWarGreymon.
A door slammed open and Amy rolled her eyes when she saw Etemon walk in. He stood in the middle of the prison with a microphone and waved hello to all of his 'fans'. "Llllllladies and gentlemen! May I please announce the start of the 5th monthly Prison Brawl!"
Amy turned and looked at BlackWarGreymon. "What the heck is a Prison Brawl?"
Her cellmates shared looks until finally, Leomon answered. "It's a fight Etemon does every month using prisoners."
Amy turned back around with a look of disbelief.
Etemon smirked as he spotted the prisoners all looking at him from their cells, wishing that their cell door wouldn't be opened. "You know how this works, folks! Four of my servants or Sombras will arrive at one of the cells and two lucky prisoners will be chosen by them! They take you here and you guys have the honor of fighting each other to the death and get to win a special prize!"
Back in the cell, Amy scoffed. "To the death? What kind of special prize is worth killing the other?"
"If it's worth 5 large pieces of food rations." said BlackWarGreymon.
Any other day, Amy would've been shocked to hear that. But being so very hungry and the thought of winning 5 pieces of food... Amy shook the thought out of her mind.
The door where Etemon entered burst open again and Amy watched as a Tentomon and a Apemon be pushed inside. "WHAT?!"
Etemon turned his head towards her and cocked his head. "Got somethin' to say, lil lady?"
"HELL yeah, I got something to say! How the FUCK is a Tentomon suppose to defeat a freaking Apemon?!" Amy yelled and watched a Etemon laughed at her.
"The Sombras and servants choose by random, little girl! It's not MY choice!"
"Well, you wanna know what IS your choice?! Stopping this!"
"Aha, no." Etemon rolled his eyes and turned away from the angel before talking again into the microphone. "So this month's lucky fighters are..." He pointed at the chosen Digimon. "Tentomon and Apemon!"
Tentomon shook as he looked up slowly towards Apemon's face, who looked menacing. Meanwhile, Apemon smirked down at him. 'Piece of cake.' he thought.
Etemon stood in between them and laughed into his microphone. "Well, people, I think this fight will be over quickly. This little piece of crap will never win!" he said to Tentomon, who seemed like he was going to cry.
'This makes you mad, doesn't it?'
"What?" Amy turned towards her cellmates, who looked confused.
"We didn't say anything." said BlackWarGreymon.
Amy turned back around and said nothing. 'That was werid.'
'What was weird?' the voice said.
Amy jumped. That voice was inside her head. 'Who the hell are you?'
'It doesn't matter...look at poor, poor Tentomon. He looks scared, doesn't he?'
Amy looked at the trembling Tentomon, who was now crying in pure fear.
'You want to help him, don't you?'
Amy slowly nodded her head.
'Well, did you know that that Tentomon is your dear friend Zoey's Pabumon?'
Amy's eyes widened as she quickly thought of Tentomon's digivolution. Tentomon digivolves from Motimon and Motimon digivolves from...Pabumon.
'See? Just yell out Zoey's name and you'll see that Tentomon will turn around and recognize that name.'
"Ready? Annnnnnnnd FIGHT!" Etemon ran away from the two Digimon and in response, Apemon growled and headed towards Tentomon. Tentomon yelped and flew up in the air. Meanwhile, all the other Digimon from the other cells watched the fight and built up a commotion.
BlackWarGreymon and Leomon stood on either side of Amy and all three of them watched silently.
Tentomon flew in the air around Apemon as Apemon tried to knock him down with a growl.
"Super Shocker!" Tentomon hurled static electricity from his wings and hit Apemon.
Apemon hissed and jumped away and then he ran towards the wall, where he jumped up and used his feet to push himself off into the air, finally managing to knock down the insect Digimon. Tentomon crashed down and looked up just in time to see Apemon raise up his weapon.
"Mega Bone Stick!"
Tentomon rolled out of the way and ran just before Apemon's bone hit him. Amy decided to see if what the voice said was true.
"ZOEY!"
BlackWarGreymon and Leomon gave her strange looks, but to Amy's surprise, Tentomon did indeed look at her and he seemed to remember her. "Zo-"
Tentomon barely missed being crushed by Apemon's foot and again, he flew away.
Amy started to fidget around, looking for a way through. "I gotta help him!" Without anyone seeing her, a flash of blue crossed her eyes.
"You can't, though." said Leomon. "There's no way through..." He stopped talking when he saw Amy suck in her breath and slowly, but successfully, squeezed through two rails. "..or maybe there is."
When Amy squeezed out of her cell, she felt a bit strange. She felt as if she had her powers back, but they felt...different. She headed straight for Apemon, who had Tentomon in a corner and was about to get rid of him.
"LEAVE HIM THE HELL ALONE."
Etemon just noticed Amy out of her cell and he almost choked on his spit. "What the heck?!"
Apemon looked away from Tentomon and faced Amy, who stood in a fighting position.
"Tentomon, step aside. I'll fight in your place." commanded the Angel.
Tentomon nodded and he stood close to a certain cell.
Apemon frowned when he saw, again, a flash of ice blue pass through Amy's dark eyes . Amy cocked her head and smirked. "What? Scared?" Amy suddenly grabbed Apemon's hand and she threw him up down into the ground. She then jumped up in the air and kicked him on the head with great strength, getting rid of Apemon once and for all without a single word.
Silence filled the prison as Amy stormed towards Etemon who stood his ground. Amy stopped in front of him and she glared. "I'm going to tell you this once and you better be paying very close attention, you little piece of shit. I'm letting you do a certain number of things to me and the rest of the prisoners, but making us kill each other for some fucking food makes no sense whatsoever." She leaned in close to his face. "Next you want to prisoners to fight, make sure it's only me and you. And let me make this clear: I will have no mercy against you and I will hit you with everything I've got. And I will kill you." She smiled crookedly as she cocked her head, again, the flash of blue shining in her eyes.
Etemon's eyes widened at her reaction. This...isn't really what he would've expected for her to act. This wasn't Amy's kind of threat. As Etemon commanded Ogremon and another Sombra to take Amy back to her cell, he finally realized what was going on.
Lucemon's data! It's reacting!
Lord Bashidamon told Etemon a few days ago what would happen to her since she had Lucemon's data within her. But Etemon didn't expect the data to already react.
(I was going to do two separate chapters, but then I decided that if I do that, this chapter and the next chapter would be too short so I put them together.)
In his throne room, Bashidamon stood upon the blue leopard with absolute fury in his eyes. Katashimon was bowed down on both knees and her head facing the floor before him.
"I ordered you to kill the Warrior or Darkness and THIS IS HOW TO REPAY ME?!" hissed Bashidamon. "YOU STUPID FOOL!"
Katashimon rose up her head and gulped before speaking. "But my lord, father, they are stronger than ever now. And this time they had a reason to be like that: two of their friends are missing and it was because of us. They're furious!"
Bashimon scoffed and shook his head at her, glaring. "And to think, I was convinced that you were capable to complete my orders without fail. But all you bring me is what I DO NOT want to hear." He bent down to her level and Katashimon's ears flatted as her shoulders rose in response.
"Let me tell you this once and I WILL NOT repeat it again. The next time you fail to do what I want, I will make you wish I haven't found you as a cub, do you understand me?"
Katashimon nodded and when Bashidamon backed away, stood. She watched as Bashidamon walked towards his throne and sat upon it. Bashidamon looked up towards her and two pairs of ice blue eyes met each other.
He smirked. "Just to make sure you get what I mean."
Katashimon found out what he meant as soon as she felt the blue electricity that he shot from his fingertips. She twitched in pain and gasped as she collapsed on the ground.
As Bashidamon kept shocking her with his attack, a BlackBearmon servant walked in with an 80's style phone and bowed in front of him, phone in front.
"My lord, Etemon from the prison wishes to speak to you."
Bashidamon stopped hurting Katashimon and took the telephone away from BlackBearmon. He picked up the handset as Katashimon laid down, gasping. "Hello?"
"Hello, my lord. How are you on this fine day?"
Bashidamon rolled his eyes. "I'm fine, I'm fine, what do you want?" he spat.
Etemon chuckled on the other end. "Well, I'm just here being a loyal servant and I want to give you some good news."
"Yes?"
"Lucemon's data is reacting."
"Well, of course Lucemon's data is reacting!" Bashidamon growled into the telephone. "I know that! Now stop wasting my time!"
"No, Lord Bashidamon, you don't understand. Within Lady Lapumon, Lucemon is reacting! He's changing her!"
"Changing her?" Etemon now had Bashidamon's full attention. "Go on."
Etemon told Bashidamon what had happened a few moments ago and Bashidamon grinned in victory when Etemon finished.
"Perfect. It's happening quicker than I thought...Etemon, in a few days, I will be heading over there and I want to test her than, see if she's ready."
"Yes sir."
"And if she's ready..." Bashidamon smirked towards Katashimon, who looked back wearily. "..then I guess we can start the wedding plans."
"I did WHAT?!"
"You squeezed through the rails and fought Apemon, then you threatened Etemon." Leomon said to Amy again.
Amy frowned as her eyes flicked back and forth in disbelief. "B-But I don't remember!"
BlackWarGreymon blinked in surprise. "What do you mean, you don't remember?"
"I. Don't. Remember!" Amy looked up at the two Champion Digimon in surprise. "I really don't!"
Leomon shared looks with BlackWarGreymon. "Are you sure you're not lying?"
"I'm not lying!" Amy exclaimed. "I wouldn't joke about it if what I did was that serious."
BlackWarGreymon then remember that moment when she had acted strangely. "You were also talking to yourself."
Amy fought to remember, when suddenly, she did. "A voice! A voice was in my head! I remember that it told me that Tentomon was a friend of my friend Zoe...but that's it. From there it's just a big blur."
She sighed sadly. "I-I just don't understand."
From within her, a small white light floated in absolute nothingness. An amused smirk echoed.
It's almost time.
AMY: It's almost time? Time for what?
AQUA: For breakfast, girl! I haven't ate yet! *takes out giant stack of pancakes*
BLACKWARGREYMON: *bring out plates*
LEOMON: *brings glasses of milk*
AMY: *brings syrup and forks*
AQUA: Yay! A pancake party! :D
AMY: If you review, you win a free pancake! *holds up pancake*
BLACKWARGREYMON, LEOMON AND AQUA: *stuff their faces with food*
