Time Period: A Flashback

Bella's p.o.v
My thoughts are lost in the ocean. Three major concerns burden me. First, I fear I won't be able to
survive my twins' birth. Second, one of the twins might die at birth. Third, I won't be able to handle
both Reneseme and the twins who are prophesied to be born with disabilities. "I love you" Edward
whispers rubbing my enormous belly. Passionately, I kiss my husband. The twins do cartwheels and
back flips inside me. Edward helps me to keep my balance on the deck. "Is it time yet?" anxious,
Edward wonders. "The contractions have been on and off. I will keep you posted" I assure
him. "Carlisle is here at the house for your final examination. We shouldn't keep him waiting" he
informs me. He is kind enough to carry me into the house where Carlisle awaits us. My water
breaks and I go into active labor during his examination. I am rushed off to the hospital then.
Carlisle plans to deliver the twins until other patients distract him. Giving birth without Carlisle
nearby is bittersweet for me.

Bella's p.o.v (after giving birth to Angel and Destiny)
Tired, I observe Edward bonding with our daughters. They were worth the pain of childbirth.
Edward claims to love me more now than ever before. The doctor reconfirms our daughters'
disabilities. Angel is blind and Destiny is severely deaf. Once again, my thoughts are lost in
the ocean.
