Notes 1: This takes place after "Crystal Princess Ruby Part 3"
if you haven't read it yet, then go back and read it. Now on to the story!

Notes 2: Previous head villains, the Ice Titan and Warlord Branax appear
as illusions and Princess Icerina also makes an appearance as an illusion.
The Cosmic Lights makes its second appearance.

EPISODE 175: FOLLOW THOSE LIGHTS, PART 2

The Cosmic Lights asked Usagi to go on a quest to obtain the Cosmic Lights
and Usagi accepted. And Usagi thought about her invisible force field and that
was too much of an advantage for her. So, she brought down her Cosmicstar
Crystal and focused until her force field visibly appeared and then she made it
vanish and this shocked Nitara.

"My maiden, you need that to survive!"

Nitara objected to this move.

"Nitara-Chan, please understand that my force field gives me too much advantage
and by it not being activated it will make it more challenging for me... besides... I
still have my princess dress and sailor fuku which still gives me protection against
physical and elemental based attacks. Please believe in me that I can succeed okay?"

Usagi explained on why she removed her invisible force field and she was making
this challenge harder for herself. She asked Nitara to believe in her.

"Alright my maiden... just return here safely, okay?"

Nitara asked Usagi to return safely and Usagi nodded. Usagi automatically transformed
into Cosmicstar Sailor Moon and the Cosmic Lights took off at a high speed and Cosmicstar
Sailor Moon wasn't too far behind. The lights continued flying at high speed and with Usagi
in hot pursuit. Then the Cosmic Lights created an illusion for Usagi to face. It her old foe
the Ice Titan. She stopped dead in her tracks.

"Well, Usagi Tsukino... we meet again. It's been a long long time since we last fought."

The Ice Titan spoke to Usagi and Usagi wasn't phased by this illusion. However, this illusion
was real.

"I am a lot stronger than the last time I fought you and besides, Princess Crystallina is still
merged with me and I can still defeat you!"

Usagi stated to the Ice Titan that she was stronger than the first time she fought the Ice Titan
and she could still defeat him easily.

"We shall soon see."

The Titan sneered at Usagi giving his reply and he sent a wave of icy energy which Usagi
easily dodged.

"My turn! Cosmicstar Pure Energy Spheres Blast!"

She yelled as she hurled several balls of pure hot white energy which when she launched
the energy spheres at the Ice Titan, he burned up instantly and was gone.

"Barely a challenge."

Cosmicstar Sailor Moon spoke to herself as she ran again and trying to catch up to the Cosmic
Lights. She focused on her lifeforce energy to boost her speed and eyesight to locate
the Cosmic Lights. She was now running faster than she usually did and she located the Cosmic
Lights and she started to catch up to the Cosmic Lights and the lights created another illusion...
Warlord Branax. Now Warlord Branax was the villain that took Princess Cosmicstar's lifeforce
energy on the Cosmicstar Moon eons ago and Usagi cringed at the sight of seeing this villain.
However, Usagi knew it was illusion and she must defeat this villain in order to chase the Cosmic
Lights.

"Princess Cosmicstar, I have come to take your lifeforce energy once again."

Warlord Branax spoke triumphantly like he could steal Usagi's energy once again. Usagi's eyes
grew hot with determination and she spoke.

"You may look real, but you are not real. Cosmicstar Giant Energy Sphere!"

Usagi answered back and said he was not real and she concentrated and caused a large sphere
of energy to be hurled at Warlord Branax and it hit him and he vanished into thin air just
like the Ice Titan. She focused again in locating the Cosmic Lights and when she found them,
she gave chase and continued running until the Cosmic Lights created another illusion... Princess
Icerina. Princess Icerina spoke.

"I warned you not to engage the enemy... didn't I? Prepare for a thrashing!"

Princess Icerina spoke to Usagi that she wasn't supposed to engage the enemy. Princess Icerina
powered up her ice bolt attack. Will Usagi be defeated and her quest for the Cosmic Lights end?
