Chapter 23
On the 23rd of March, near Aizen's building, a figure was standing on top of one of the abandon buildings. She looked down at the portal officers and narrowed her eyes. Like a shadow she slipped past them and went inside. Looking around she ran through the bottom floor until she reached the area that said division 8. A smirk came to her face as she grabbed the door and opened it just enough to slip inside.
Inside the area there were many rooms that had glass windows. She walked by one and looked inside. She then turned away in disgust. Inside that particular room, there was a body of animal cut up and it's inners all over the place like something came out of it. She walked on. Passing another room, she saw the corpse of a woman tied up to the wall. She looked like she had been injected with something repeatedly. There were needle markings on her arms and legs. Shaking her head, the woman walked on.
By passing the rest of the rooms, she came to the main done. "This must be it…" She grabbed the door and pulled it open and walked into a lab. It didn't look as damaged as the rest of the building did. "Hmm…" She ran her hand over a large table that was stain with dried blood. She rubbed some on her fingers and sniff. "What!?" She sniffed again to make sure. "Impossible. This blood, it can't be!" She looks around and saw files spread out. Picking a few of them up she bite her lip when she saw a picture of Jess and Nova, along with a picture of Oichi and the twins. She pulled the files together and noticed empty capsules with numbers on them. "This is bad…I must let Lord Jetter know."
At the center, Isane was rushing to her bosses room in panic. She reached the office door and knocked on it. "Ms. Unohana!? This is an emergency can I please come in!?" "You may enter." She heard a voice call out. Isane opened the door and rushed in. Unohana was sitting on a couch having tea. "What can I do for you Isane?" "Ma'am…I'm sorry to be disturbing you but we have a problem on our hand." "What is it?" "It's concerning Zommari Rureaux. The man who attacked Rangiku. "Oh?" She says lifting her tea to her lips. "Last night he was killed in his cell!" Unohana stopped the cup inches from her lip. "Pardon?" "He was killed. Kenpachi just sent out the reports to everyone." She handed a piece of paper to Unohana.
"Rudbornn? Was he one of those who were captured during the raid?" "Yes. He was the head of security there. He openly admit that he was the one who killed Zommari but that is all he said. He won't speak anymore." "I see…I would like to speak to him. Can you make that happen?" "Yes ma'am, I will go see Kenpachi right away!" Isane ran out the room. Unohana looked at the paper. "Hmm…he was a part of a separate cleaning crew. Could he maybe still be under orders? If he is, this could be most troubling."
Out in the town, Mila Rose, Apacci, and Sung were each on their break. There were sitting at a restaurant on the outside. Apacci drowns her beer quickly and groans out. "I can't believe I got fired!" She cries out. Sung sighs. "It seems you are the only one who cannot keep a job. I would put in a good word for you at the flower shop but…I can't have you snapping at my lovely boss." Rose chuckled sipping on some iced tea. "Working with children was never your style so I won't be helping you either." Apacci groans out. "How am I supposed to tell our lady that I failed! Come on you two bimbos! Help me out here!" "Why don't you take her old job?" Sung says. "She did work as security at Oichi's shop before." Apacci sits up. "Yeah! I'll do that! No way that dame can say no to me!"
Rose rolled her eyes. "That also means you have to deal with seeing Grimmjow. Think you can handle that?" Apacci snitched her teeth. "It ain't like I have to…" She glances over and sees someone watching them. It was a woman with pink eyes and long purple curled hair. She was wearing purple lipstick to match. She was wearing a waitress uniform but Apacci had never seen her there before. "Looks like we got a fan." She says lowly. Sung signs. "Really now. You are just noticing her? She has been glaring at her for quite a while now." Apacci shot her glare. "Well, if you knew that, why didn't you say something!?" "You were drowning your sorrows in beer. You get even uglier if I try to stop you from talking. I didn't want to risk my eyes burning from it." Apacci grips the table. "You bitch…"
Rose shook her head. "She used to work under madam Harribel. I don't know what she wants but her look is annoying." Her phone beeps. She grabs it and looks through. A smile comes to her face reading a text. She texted something back and sent it. When she looked back up, she saw Apacci and Sung staring at her. "What?" "Who are you talking to?" Apacci asked. "None of your damn business." Rose says. "Is it a new boy toy? Didn't you sleep with women? You claimed up and down that your body is only used for madam Harribel." "That was you who slept with every woman you meet. It's not my fault that men don't see your body attractive. Who want's a flat chest man ape anyway." Apacci slammed her hands on the table. "Who are you calling ape! You hairy baboon!" Rose got up also slamming her hands on the table. "What was that!?"
The two women glared at each other before they heard Sung giggling. They looked at her and saw that she had gotten Rose's phone and was going through it. "Oh my…seems like you are dating that man?" Rose blushed as snatched the phone away. "We are not dating!" She snapped. "We happen to have just a little more in common then I thought." "Who is it?" Apacci says. "Why it's one of Oichi's dear friend Chad." Apacci's eyes widen and looked at Rose. "You're seeing that simp!?" "He is not a simp." "Whatever! You're dating that guy! He looks like he hasn't been with a woman in like…ever! I bet that chump is still a virgin!" "Again, we are not dating. We are only talking. Nothing more." "Nothing more yet…" Sung says with a giggle. While she didn't show it, she was happy for Rose. It made her wonder if she would find someone to be with one day. She glanced over to Apacci. 'I wonder if we could…' She felt a slight sickness was over her. 'That will never happen…' "That man doesn't even know what to do with a woman like you!" Apacci says crossing her arms. "Oh? Showing some concern for me?" Rose says with an annoying look on her face. "N-No! I just don't want you to come crying to use when he is flop." Apacci says turning her head.
"Excuse me ladies." The three women looked up to see the same purple hair woman look at them. She had a smile on her face, but her aura just read murder. "I believed we all worked together before. How have you been?" "What do you want." Apacci says. "I just…" "If you are here because of something we did in the past, can you please get on with it? I have to be back at work soon." Sung says. "Oh, it's nothing like…" "Stop the poor acting. We know you have been glaring at us. What do you want?" Rose asked.
The woman bit her lip. "What do I want? I want you three to die!" She says pulling a knife out. She launched herself at Sung but her wrist was caught. "This is quite pathetic." Sung says twisting her wrist, forcing her to drop the knife. "F-F-For Aizen! You will die!" The woman screamed out. Rose grabbed her head in a quick motion and slammed it through the table. Sung dropped her wrist. "What poor taste. How can you be loyal to a man who left you to die?" The woman struggles to sit up until Apacci took her foot and hit the woman in the face, flipping her over Rose and her body rolled over to the wall. "Damn fool…"
A man rushed out. "W-What is going on!?" He looked at the woman who had a bloody face now. "You three…w-will die…for Aizen!" The women paid her no mind. "That woman attacked us. Call the police and get us another freaking table." Apacci says. "Oh! Of course, ma'am." Two bigger men came out and grabbed the woman. "Get off me…" The woman said weakly. "They must die…" She says as she gets dragged into the store.
"Now back to the issue at hand…" Apacci says. "Chad!? Like come on! Couldn't you go for someone with a damn back bone!" Rose groans. "There is nothing wrong with the man. Why are you taking such an interest with my love life?" Sung chuckled. "Because she can't get one." "What!? I can to!" "Uh huh…" Rose says.
Nnoitra was at a gas station filling up the car. He was on the phone via Bluetooth with Nel. "Did you pick up Kendric's gift from the mall?" "Yeah, I'll drop it off with Grimmjow." "What!? No! I need to wrap it and put a card on it and stuff!" "Does that shit even matter? The kid is going to rip it off anyways." "It does matter! When Sophie gets her gift do you want someone to just give her a gift with no type of thought!?" Nnoitra groans. "Whatever…" "Oh! While you are out, can you stop by the grocery store and pick up some ice cream with fudge frosting, sprinkles, soy sauce, and banana's?" Nnoitra wrinkle his nose at that. "That sounds disgusting." "Well, it's what our daughter and I are craving so get to it!" She hangs up. He groans and puts the pump up. "Why do women eat weird shit when they got babies in them. My daughter better not be eating this same crap when she pops out." He gets in the car and pulls off to the store.
He soon pulls into the parking lot and closes the door. As soon as he did another car pulled up and rolled down the window. "Nnoitra? Is that you?" Nnoitra didn't even acknowledged the voice. "Hey! Don't ignore me!" The voice called out. Nnoitra kept walking until he heard a smashing sound. He turned around to see his back window was smashed in. "What the fuck!?"
He heard chuckling and looked at the man who did it. He was tall and bulky with black spiked up hair and teal eyes. He was wearing a tight black jacket and jeans with black tennis shoes. He smirked at Nnoitra. "Did I get your attention now?" "What the hell are you doing to my car? Are you looking for a fight!" The man chuckled right as the grocery door open. Ikkaku was walking out with Renji when they saw this. "What is going on?" Renji asked.
"The name is Aldegor. As for that question…yeah…I did come looking for a fight. Seeing you living so damn peacefully while the rest of us is left for dead, really pissed me off." "What does that have to do with me! You are the dumbass who kept following Aizen. How are you going to be paying for my car!" "Forget the car! There is a bounty on you and the former big wig heads and plan to collect on it!" Ikkaku and Renji frowned at this. Nnoitra started to laugh. "A bounty on my head? What else is new and if you think a weakling like you can take me then you must want an early grave." Aldegor cracked his knuckles. "Oh please, you and the others have gotten soft. Having kids, got regular jobs. You are no match for those who are out here in the grim and cut! So be nice and die for me!"
He charged at Nnoitra who pulled out his phone. He dials a number and waits. Right as Aldegor got in range he held his foot up and planted it right in his chest. He didn't even use all his force. Aldegor coughed out and stumbled back. "Nel? Hey…so this dumbass broke my window." "What!? What do you mean?" "It means I'm gonna kill him, so I'll be late getting home." "Don't kill him. At least beat him half to death. That way you can get his insurance stuff and he can pay for the car." "I doubt he has insurance…" Aldegor groans out. "You bastard!" He pulls out a gun. "Let's see how you like it when you are full of bullets!"
"Freeze!" Ikkaku called out holding up his own gun. Renji was already calling for back up. "Ugh…I'm getting hungry…" Nel says. "Got it. I'll be home when I get done. You need anything else?" "Yes, some chips and dip." "Alright." Nnoitra says.
He hangs up and rushes to Aldegor. His eyes widen at his speed. Nnoitra grabs his wrist and snaps it. He starts to scream but it doesn't do him any good. His face was grabbed by Nnoitra hands. He was lifted off his feet. Renji takes a step back. Every now and then he forgets how strong Nnoitra really is.
Nnoitra slams Aldegor on his windshield over and over until he finally went through it. "Hey hold on!" Ikkaku says putting his gun away. "I can take it from here." "Do what you want. That was for breaking my window you piece of shit. Next time I won't be so nice." Nnoitra brushes his hands off leaving Aldegor twitching and bleeding from the cuts from the windshield. He walked past Renji and into the store. Renji rushed to Ikkaku to help with Aldegor. "What the hell was that…" He asked. "No clue…but weird stuff is starting to pop up everywhere. You heard about Zommari?" Ikkaku says pulling Aldegor's body out of the windshield. "Yeah, killed in his cell…I think things are about to pick up in the worst of ways." Renji says with a sigh.
Ikkaku's phone rings. He grabs it and answers. "I'm a bit busy. Make it quick...Your joking..." He sighs. "Alright, I'll head over there as soon as I'm done here. Call for back up just in case something else happens." He hangs up. "What was that about?" Renji asked. "A disturbance at a restaurant a few blocks down. Those three chicks that's always with Harribel. It seems like they got attacked by a woman who was trying to kill them." "Well, that can't be a coincidence. You think it's about those bounties this guy is talking about" "I don't know but for now let's get him to the station and inform everyone else about what is going on." Renji scratched his head. "All this happening right before the press conference tomorrow. Something is up. It could be Aizen." "I guess we will find out soon enough."
Back at the center, Unohana was sitting in a private room waiting. The door opened and two men brought in Rudbornn. He was wearing a orange prison suit with cuffs on his wrist and ankles. He face was covered up with bandages from the attack from the raid. The only thing that was showing was the bottom of his nose and his mouth. The men sat him down at the table and cuffed him to it. "Rudbornn Chelute…do you know why you are here?" "I do…" He says. "Do you have anything to say for yourself?" "No, I was merely doing my duty." Unohana frowned. "You killed one of your associates." "Former…there was no real connection between us and the top brass. You should know this." Unohana closed her eyes. "I do but it doesn't explain why you killed him." "I did it because that is my duty. Just like it is your duty to help those in need. Just because Aizen is gone it doesn't mean things change. I am the head of the cleaning crew and once someone is become obsolete, they must be taken care of." Unohana opened her eyes. The door opened and one of her workers came in. She quickly went to her and whispered something in her ear. "I see…thank you." The work nods and takes her leave.
Looking back at Rudbornn she sighs. "Do you plan on telling me the truth or are you going to go on with that lie?" "Lie? What do I have to gain by lying to you?" Rudbornn asked with a slightly chuckle. "So, this has nothing to do with the bounties that are being reporting in on the former top heads?" Rudbornn laughed a bit. "Bounties? Money? Tell me Unohana what am I going to do with money? Do you think I would kill for such a foolish reason? I told you that my job is to clean up those who are obsolete. You think I got paid for doing what I loved? For what was given to me? At the brink of this world, no one care about a lone child that was given up by his parents and sold as a slave to rich brats. There were no centers or shelters to pick up the broken children that were laid to waste by the greed of humans. The only person who saw any talent in me was Aizen and even if he no longer is on top I will continue to do the job he has given me. That is my only goal in this life now. Nothing more…Nothing less…" Unohana lets out a soft breath. "I see…then I hope you are ready to deal with the consequences…I pity the life you may have here." She gets up. "Aizen is not the man you think he is but clearly his empty words gave you hope. One day if you are still among the living, you will see him for the villain he is." She opened the door and walked out leaving Rudbornn in the room alone.
The next day on March 24th, a day before Kendric's birthday. Oichi and the others had been shopping like crazy to make it the best birthday he could have. Sajin had the park reserve a spot for their tree to plant. Grimmjow had to agree to place a future project with the park once he got some free time. All that was left was to pick out the seed they were going to plant.
At Florina's flower shop, Oichi, Jess, Orihime, and Tatsuki were looking around. "You know…I've never really been in here…" Jess says. Oichi chuckled. "It really pretty and it smells really nice in here despite all the different flowers and stuff."
Sung walked up wearing a peach shirt and white skirt with flats. "Oichi, welcome. Florina has prepared the seeds for you to look at." "Thank you sung. How has it been, working here?" "Peaceful. I genuinely like the serenity in it. Your sister is very sweet to." Oichi chuckled. "I hear that lot."
They followed Sung to the back to see Florina setting up the seeds. "Oichi! I have the perfect tree for you to plant!" She held up a small brown seed. "This is for a red maple tree! It would be perfect for what we are doing. Its known as one of the best red maple cultivars and it also delivers on color! Winter buds, spring flowers, summer fruit, and a blend of red and orange leaves in fall to give it that sunset affect." "Wow Flo. You put a lot of thought in this." Oichi says. "That sounds perfect!" Orihime says smiling. "That last one in fall sounds so romantic! I could see one of our children there confessing to each other." Orihime says dreamily.
Oichi giggled. "Which ones though?" "Grayson and Ichika for sure." Tatsuki says. "She is clinging on him a lot these days and right now since he is a toddler he doesn't get why. Just wait until he starts understanding love and Ichika blossoms into a flat chested beauty like her mother." Jess held back a chuckle. "Rukia isn't flat chested." Orihime says. "I've seen them! They are at least a A cup." "Uh huh, anyways if it's not them then maybe Bella and Kendric?" Jess says. The girls hum and they thought about them. "Well…Kenny doesn't really show a flattering attention to girls unless it's the twins." Oichi says. "Yeah but look at the way Bella is around him." Florina says jumping into the conversation. "She gets shy, she always runs to him when she sees him, she does that cute stance when she puts one leg behind the other…she surely has a crush on him." They hummed out together thinking about this until they all laughed together. "Either way, we will have to wait until they get older. Their tastes may change for all we know." Oichi says taking the seed from Florina. "Thanks sis. Are you and Hisagi coming to the party tomorrow?" Florina nods. "Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" They hug. Jess smiles at them and then check her watch. "We should get going. We still have stuff to get." Oichi let Florina go. "Later sis!" She waves. Florina waves back and watch them leave.
In Hueco Mundo, Danni and Yoruichi were sitting down for a press conference with Kensei. The citizens were crowding around along with the media. Danni was wearing a black dress shirt with a skirt that went down to her knees. Yoruichi was wearing an all-black pants suit. The media was getting their things ready. Kensei walked up to them. "We are just about ready. To go over the rules of…" "I don't need to be told about rules you snot nose brat." Danni hissed out at him. He took a step back felling the hostility she had towards him. Yoruichi laughed and pats Danni on the shoulder. "Sorry, Sorry, she is just in a bad mood. I mean you are pretty bold to walk up to her after you took her daughters job." Kensei frowned. "It was not my decision to make…"
A few citizens quietly listened in as well as one cameraman started to film. "You could have declined it but that's how you people work. You don't give a damn about the hardworking people who had to scratch and claw their way up. You only care about lining your pockets. It never chances, I'm happy to finally be getting out of the screwed-up job." Kensei sighs. "I understand but what happened to Oichi and her job isn't my problem. I'm sorry she didn't make the cut, but I promised that if she accepted this offer that I would teach her everything I can." "What the hell can she learn from you!" Danni snaps as she stood up gaining more attention from the citizens. "All you teach is how to sneak around shit that people, good people, should know! I swear if she didn't ask me to do this I would relaxing with my man with a good drink! You are lucky that I don't pound your face in for even speaking her name!" Kensei backed away. Yoruichi only laughed more. "Why don't you do yourself a favor and just get behind the camera's. You are only digging yourself into a deeper hole." "Of course…" Kensei says with a sigh and walking away.
Danni huffed out and sat back down. "I wanna kill him." Yoruichi rubbed her back. "There, there, we should focus on the task at hand. We can't let little Oichi's words go to waste on her last day." Danni pouted. "My pour peanut…but I'll do her proud."
Once everything was ready, the press conferences started. "Good morning everyone." Danni starts. "Firstly, I'd like to introduce myself. I am Danni Tanaka. Most of you know me as I've been here plenty of times…and caused a stir here every now and then…" Some of the citizens chuckled. "By my side is a woman you also know very well Yoruichi Shihouin. Today we have come in place of the center to explain the situation that is unfolding. As you know, a siege happened on Aizen's building and in our shock, it was ridged to explode causing great damage to both sides. Aizen and a few of his followers have escaped and now is on the run. If anyone has any information to where he may be please contact me or Yoruichi."
A reporter waved her hand. "Why not the center?" "Because they may not cover up the person who gave the information, placing their family in harm's way. I can assure you that if you give it to me your name and any involvement will stay between us. All we want is the capture of Aizen and nothing else." The citizens looked at each other and grumbled together. "Moving on. We want to speak about what will now happen to Hueco Mundo." It grew silent. "I am not one to sugarcoat things and seeing as I have been 'granted' to say whatever I want I will tell you now. The center wishes for Hueco Mundo to merge with it so that it can finally become one city instead of two."
They heard angry talking in the citizens. "Merge? You mean they want to come and take over!" A man shouted. "Exactly." Danni says as the crowd gets angrier. "They expect us to roll over and just accept this!?" A woman shouted. "Yup." Danni answers bluntly. She could see the crowd getting a little rowdy now. "I'm sure those who have delt with the center knows what may happen, but I am here to propose another solution." They quiet back down. "The center already knows that you won't take that idea soundly. So, what if, the center funds the rebuilding of the town?" Their eyes widen at this and talk started to rise. A reporter raised his hand. "What construction company will willingly help Hueco Mondo without requested such a huge fee? Not to mention the amount of work, time, and effort it will take." Danni smiles. "How nice of you to ask. My future son in law has already taken it upon himself to start drawing up plans." "Your…son in law?" A reporter ask. "Yes! Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. The company owner of Construction Depo."
"Grimmjow?" "She wouldn't be talking about him, would she?" "I thought he was in jail?" "He works in construction?" "Wait…did she just say her son in law!?" Danni giggled at the talk. "Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez." Yoruichi starts to speak. "He was at one point a high-ranking man under Aizen. After getting involved with his now fiancé, Oichi Yamamoto, he was set up by Aizen and took the fall. He was set to prison where he only faced the sentence of fake money. It seems the center couldn't charge him of the crimes they were trying to pin on him. Through some twists and turns he was then set free early to where he made his own construction company under the center. So far, he has created a spa, a few stores, and revamped a few buildings. It's why you see the town looking bigger and better. His current project though is a game changer. With the help of his fiancé who pulled plans together, he is making a large school that will accept everyone including those who lived here."
"A school?" A child suddenly shouts out. "Can we go!" Danni smiles seeing the children peak out around the adults. "Of course! The school is not made for just the center. My daughter wants the best for both worlds. She wanted to build a school where everyone could go and not be judge on where you came from. To help those who were unable to experience that change. It ranges from preschool all the way up to collage so to those who want to further your education you are also welcomed to come."
"A school…built by Grimmjow and his company…" Someone mumbles out. "Grimmjow of all people…he was able to make it out of here…" Yoruichi chuckled. "You all could make it out of here to eventually. We know that trusting the center is hard especially with the events that has been happening. So instead of forcing you to merge with them we wanted to make your lives better. New homes, new shops, new roads, everything. The center has done a lot of harm in its day but it coming to a change now. If you give us some time, we want to prove that we are not the enemy anymore. Also, don't think the center will always be what it is. We are also working on a way to tear those walls down so that this city can finally become one. We hope that us being here to tell you this will at least give you some faith."
The crowd mumbled still a little unsure about what was said. There was a mix of excitement, fear, and anger. "If you are still unsure about what is happening then there is someone else who would like a moment of your time." She waved her hand to the side. Motioning for someone to walk up to them. They heard shocking gasps as the person walked up and stood beside Danni. "Let me introduce you to Benjamin Luisenbarn. The oldest son of Barragan Luisenbarn." "Ben!" "Benny!" "Is that really you!?" The crowd started to grow wild at seeing Ben. He chuckled and waved with a bright smile. "Yo! It's good to be home!" Danni leans back. "Seems like you have been missed." Ben laughs. "Seems like it."
He cleared his throat and waved his hand to calm everyone day. "Yo! What's up. It has been a while since I've been back home. I've been overseas with my other siblings. I've only recently gotten back. I want to be completely honest with you here and now…" He sighs. "I have failed you and my father…and I wish to apologize." The crowd gave him a worried look. "My father was not a nice man, and he was a bit crude in how he did things but the one thing he wanted was for his children succeed and grow in power so that one day we would take back his pride and joy. His home Hueco Mundo. Sadly…I failed him. I went to become a doctor, but I learned that it was just not my passion. In fear of disappointing him I stayed away but I soon came to regret that."
He gripped his fist. "My father who cared about Hueco Mundo was taken away from me by Aizen and his company. He was killed and we weren't even told about it until after the fact. Had I known that I would never see him again I would have come and pushed him to leave Aizen's side even more and now, to know that the center is trying to capitalize on Aizen's disappearance angers me." The crowd listen closely. "I wanted nothing to do with the center plans. I only want what's best for my home and for the people who came along side me in my younger days. That is why I think we should listen to Danni. She and my father may not have been friends, but they understood each other. She has never lied to us and she has even protected us from not only from the center but each other. Her words has been and will always be true so for now I say let's focus on bring Hueco Mundo up and past its glory days. We can give the future generations something to look forward to and a place they can be proud of. Don't worry. I'm not leaving any time soon. I will make sure that the center keeps its word. I promise you that on my family name." The crowd wasted no moment as they clapped and cheer for Ben. He flashed a smile and waved. Danni chuckled. 'Seems like it was a good idea to bring him. Now…we just have to see how the old man will handle Lexton and Jetter.'
At a fancy hotel on the other side of town, Jetter was sitting at the table sipping on some coffee. Frank was in front of him. "I finally got word from Ginjo. He has captured Luppi and will be waiting at the meeting spot three days from now." "Good. Send that information to Danni. She will be thrilled to hear it." Frank nods. "It seems the men who have been following Lady Jess and her family have backed off for now. I have dealt with them in a timely manner." "Did you finally get some answers out of this new bunch?" "Yes, though I had to call in River for a favor. She got us the information we needed." "Good, now why are these men after Jess." "It seems the man Szayel aporro Granz is behind it." "Who is that?" Frank placed a file on the table and opened it. "From what River has gathered, He is a male with amber eyes and pink hair. He oversaw Aizen's 8th science division. "I see…go on…" "Yesterday, she looked around the collapsed building and found his lab." Frank frowned hesitating to go on. "What is it? Keep reading." Jetter says sipping on his coffee. "Well…it seems this man had somehow gotten his hands on Jess's blood and he had been trying to recreate it." Jetter's eyes opened wide and nearly choked on his coffee. "What!?" Frank back up. "She also found pictures of both Jess, Oichi, and their children. It looked like he was planning on attacking Oichi and her children to bring Jess out or he was planning to take the children and lure them both."
Jetter grit his teeth. "That is a bold man. Where is he now. I want him captured alive." "River is hunting him down as we speak…for now there is something else that she caught wind of." "Oh? Something more important than the life of my niece!?" Jetter snapped slightly. "O-Of course not, but it is about Oichi." "Hm…something about Oichi? Alright indulge me."
At the mall, Izzy and Yoshiro was walking around with bags. "Don't you think we have enough stuff?" Yoshiro asked. "No! This is the first party Kendric has had and Oichi wants the day to be perfect! As his auntie I have to make sure I spoil him plenty!" Yoshiro sighs. "Yeah, I get that but, how do you know if he is going to wear most of this stuff." "I don't. It's the fact that he won't have to go around and wear rags anymore. I want him to see that he has endless choices to wear whatever he wants." Yoshiro pouts. "I guess…" "You are rich Yoshiro…I don't think you could even begin to understand what Kendric had to go through with that she devil." "Yeah, your right…I'm sorry." He speaks. Izzy chuckled. "It's fine. Let's keep going okay. I'll reward you later for putting up with my shopping." Yoshiro grins. "Alright!"
At Nel's she was in the kitchen making her a snack when Grayson came running around the corner with Noah and Kazui. They giggled as they ran around the kitchen. Nel chuckled until Ichigo walked out covered in paint. "What happened to you?" "They drew on my face…" Ichigo says with a sigh. Nel laughs. "They gave you a blue mustache!" She held her belly while laughing. "Careful now. Don't need you popping out that baby because of a laughing fit." Ichigo says taking a seat at the table. Nel took a deep breath and calmed down. "Thank you for coming over to check on me." "It's not a big deal. Orihime and Tatsuki is out doing whatever so I figured we could keep you some company." "They are supposed to be getting Kendric's party ready." "Yeah, Yeah but they got two pregnant chicks with them. Anything can change." Nel hums out. "You are right about that. Those cravings are no joke. I hope they don't forget to much stuff. I'll have to have you and they guys run some errands tomorrow. "What!? Why us?" "I'll go start writing a list." "Wait!? How the hell…" He sighs as the boys ran around the kitchen table, with a new game of tag being played. Noah hit Ichigo's leg. "Tag!" The boys suddenly scattered all over the place. Ichigo sighs and gets up. "Alright then. Let's catch some toddlers."
Grimmjow was on the phone with Danni at work. "I see…so the press conference went well?" "Yup! They are all on board. So, what do you suggest we do first?" "I'll send Nnoitra out there to install a notice box. It will allow the people over there to write what they want built or rebuild. They can slip it in the box, and I will have it collected at the end of the month. Whatever we see the most we can make up plans for it and get to work. I can leave you with the information spreading and I guess I will have to leave the news work to that fucker, provided he doesn't try to twist my words around." Danni chuckled. "Don't worry dear. I'll keep a close eye on him. Go ahead and send Nnoitra down here. Once they see him also working with you that should be a short fuse down. Oh! Also, I want to kidnap my cute grandkids for a while, Kendric included." "Sure thing. They are at the house with your parents." "What!? My parents!?" "Oh…I guess we never did tell you about that." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY PARENTS!" Danni yelled so loud that the phone nearly shook. Grimmjow had to pull the phone away from his ears. "I mean your mother and your father…they have been looking after the kids while I work, and it gave Oichi a break." "Oh my Gosh…is…is my mother really here?" "Yup. If you want your grands, you must go over there and take them. She spoils them rotten, and they have become attached to her quickly." "Oh crapppp…." He heard her curse under her breath. Some words he never heard before and some that would make a natural curser like him blush.
"Oh, for the love of…FINE…okay…I will go over there to get my grands. Make sure you tell Oichi." She says. "Yeah, okay…" Grimmjow says as she hangs up on him. "Good luck with that…" He grabbed the store phone and dialed a number. "Hey, I need Nnoitra to go ahead with the notice box. Danni…or someone will be waiting for him. Yeah…thanks…" He sighs and leans back in his chair. "I guess things are going to get even more busier around here." Harribel walked in. "Grimmjow. I need to speak to you about something important." "How important?" He asked moving paperwork around. Ulquiorra walked around her. "Very..." Grimmjow frowned. "Fine. What happened this time."
At Rukia's. Momo and Rangiku were over with the other girls. They were celebrating Rangiku's hospital release. "Wow Rukia. Pregnant again huh. You and Orihime at the same time to. How awesome is that." Momo says. Rukia chuckled while sipping on her tea. "Yeah. I told my brother about it and he was overjoyed to be getting another niece or nephew. He already started working on my baby shower." "Don't we get to do that?" Rangiku asked. "Y-Yes but to be honest…I wanted Oichi to do it…she gave Nel and Jess one and she helped with Orihime's…I would love it if she gave me another since well…this time is different?" The girls glanced at each other and back to Rukia. Nemu hums out. "While I understand you and Oichi somehow 'made up' isn't that a bit of pushing it? You already forced her to be the Godmother of your first child." Isane nudged her. "You shouldn't be so blunt." "My apologizes." Nemu says.
Rukia laughs a bit. "Yeah, but she is stubborn. If I didn't force her then Ichika wouldn't have her as auntie. Plus, Grimmjow spoils her so much. It's cute." "He only does that to get a rise out of Renji…you know that right?" Nanao says. "Even so. They both became Ichika's Godparents and I doubt they regretted it." Rangiku shook her head. "If your so dead set on Oichi throwing you a baby shower you can always just ask her." "Wouldn't that make things awkward? Just asked Orihime to do it." Isane says. Rukia's eyes lit up. "Wait, if she does one for Orihime then maybe she can do one for both of us at the same time!?" Momo laughs. "Well, that would be the smart thing to do. I don't think Oichi is that cruel to leave you out like that." Rukia smile brightens and rubbed her belly. "I would be so excited!" Rangiku glances at Rukia's belly and looks away. 'I wonder if I could even be a good mother…sounds like a pain to be honest…' A picture of Gin's sweet smiling face pops up in her head. She smile softly. 'Then again…'
Out in town. Oichi and Jess were saying bye to Orihime and Tatsuki. They wanted to do a little shopping on their own.
Oichi sighs and rubs her belly and giggled. Jess smiles. "You always seem to be in a great mood when pregnant." Oichi smiles. "Do I? I mean I'm carrying another little Grimmjow. How can I not be happy?" Jess chuckled and then frowns. "I want another baby…but Ulquiorra has been so busy lately. We get married in September. Do you think we are rushing things?" "At first I was." Jess frowned at hearing that. "But…you two are so much in love and with little Nova here, that love is still growing more and more. You two belong together and if you want to have your wedding as soon as possible then I say do it. Besides, I've already finished making the dresses." Jess eyes widen. "You did!? I mean I only sent in a couple of sketches!" "So? I made them all! Now you can pick out your wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses. I also made suits, but I need Ulquiorra to be there. Speaking of that…bridesmaid and groomsmen?"
Jess taps her chin. "Well, you are going to be my maid of honor of course. Your due date is in August, right? Will you be okay to be in the wedding?" "I should be, we will have to see." Jess pouted. "If you aren't, I'm pushing the date back. I'm not getting married without my sissy." Oichi giggled. "I hear you. So, I'm the maid of honor?" "Yup, then the others, I want Danni, Orihime, Tatsuki, Momo, and Rangiku. Ulquiorra didn't really care about his groomsmen so I picked them out. "I want Grimmjow, Ichigo, Chad, Ishida, and hmm…" "What about your uncle." Jess chuckled. "No, he will walk me down the aisle. I guess Frank will have to do. He can walk with Danni." "Hard to believe you want Grimm in your wedding." Jess gave out a dry laugh. "I only want him in it because I know you want him in it. Plus, it would be good practice for you." Oichi blushed. "Oh hush…"
The girls laughed as they walked past an alley. A man in an overcoat peaked his head out and watched them walk down the street. He pulled out a small phone. "Sir…they are alone…should we go ahead and grab them?" He waited. "Understood…we will lay low until you are ready." The man pokes his head out and gasps when he saw Jess glancing back with a dark glare. He leans against the wall, breaking out into a sweat. 'Shit…keep walking…keep walking…'
Jess frowned and grabbed Oichi's hand. "Jess?" "We are being followed…it might be the same people who were following me and Ulq the other day…" Oichi frowned and got worried. "F-Followed?" "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe." She pulled out her phone. "Come on. Let's go where a lot of people are just in case, they try to pull something." Oichi shook but nodded. Jess led her down the street.
The man hiding, counts to three and peaks around the corner. Sighing, he watched Jess and Oichi walk around the corner. 'Good grief…' "That was too close…I should be more careful." "Yes…you should…" A hand covered the man's mouth before he could gasp out. He tried to struggle until a snap was heard. The man's body went limp and was dragged into the darkness of the alley. "What a pain…I warned him not to go near her…now I got to actually do something…how bothersome…"
Back at the hotel, Jetter was biting the back of his nail as he read through some paperwork. 'The last thing I need is some nobody trying to recreate our blood. When I get my hands on that worm…' His phone started to ring but he was so deep in thought he didn't pay attention to it. It rung a few more times before stopping. A few moments past until the door slammed open and Frank rushed in on the phone. "Are you and Oichi unharmed!? Where are you now!? Of course! I will be on the way! Y-Yes…I will tell him…" Jetter looked up. "What is going on?"
"That was Jess, she and Oichi were being followed by someone." Jetter's eyes widen. "What!? Why didn't she call me!?" "She says she did…four times…she is um…not too happy about that." Jetter grabbed his phone to see that Jess did in fact call him four times. "Shit…Let's go." "She doesn't want you to come. She asked for me to come." Jetter pouted. "I'm her uncle! She should want me there and little Oichi might be an emotional wreak right now." "Sorry sir, I have to go. Stay close to your phone." Frank grabbed the keys and ran out the door. Jetter sighs and grabs his phone. He redials Jess's number. She picks up on the first ring. "When I call you, pick up the first time!" She snaps firstly. Jetter sighs. "I know dear, I'm sorry. Frank is on the way. Are you and Oichi okay?" Jess sighs. "Yes…we are sitting in the park right now, but I know there are more watching." Jetter heard a gasp and then a whimper in the background. "Shh…there, there, Sissy, I'm here and we will be fine. Promise." "Frank is coming. If things get too dangerous…" "I know uncle. Bye." Jess says hanging up on him. Jetter frowned. "This is already getting out a hand. I need to stop this before both of them get hurt."
He taps his finger on the table and groans out. "I truly do not want to rely on that man again…That assassin won't be back for another three days. I can't rely on his skills for this." He rubbed the space between his eyes and grabbed his phone. He dialed a number. It rings three times before someone answered.
"Well, well, well! What a surprise! I never expected to get a call from the King himself." Jetter rolled his eyes. "Listen. I need a favor." Laughing was heard over the phone. "A favor from me? This is turning out to be a good day!" "Look…I don't have time to deal with whatever is going up in your head. I need you to use whatever resources you have in locating someone. I can pay of course, and always I will pay in interest. Provided you don't fail." "Alright, no problem…but you can keep the price at the minimum." Jetter raises his eyebrow. "Pardon?" "What I want is just a moment of your time and to make a deal with you." "A deal? With me?" "Yup! I would like for you to come to my little shop so that we can talk." "When?" "However soon you can get there." Jetter got up. "I'm on my way and so help me you better hold up your end of the deal." He hangs up. "Yet again…making a deal with that man is like dealing with the devil himself sometimes. It's a wonder how he ever made it to the top in the center…" He grabbed his coat and called for his bodyguard detail. Whenever Frank was working on a separate task, he had a second detail to take his place until Frank got back. "No matter, I can swallow my pride if it is for my dearest Niece. I made you a promise dear sister and I plan to keep it no matter what."
At the hospital, Ikkaku and Emma were visiting Yumichika. He was making a full recovery. Emma giggled as she snuggled up to Yumichika. "Uncle!" "I'm glad to see you to gumdrop." Ikkaku was staring at him. "You had burn marks…where did they go?" Yumichika chuckled. "It's a secret. All you need to know is that I am back to my beautiful self!" "Yeah! Uncle is pretty!" Yumichika smiled. "Aw! You know your uncle so well!" He tickled her making her laugh. Ikkaku rubbed his head. "Whatever…anyways, they said you should be released in a few more days. You just must take it easy for a while. You're going to be staying with us until you are back at 100%." Emma squealed with excitement in her eyes. "Sleepover! Can Bella come!" "You will have to ask your mom." Ikkaku says. Emma pouted. "Dadddyyyy!" She wines. "Okay, okay…she can come…" Ikkaku says before he let her start. Emma giggled. "Yay!" "I see you still can't say no to her. Anything else happened?" "Not really…well sorta…it's top secret right now. The top brass doesn't want anything getting out." "Then fill me in. I got the time, and I don't want to be the last person knowing everything."
Back at the mall, Izzy and Yoshiro were sitting on a bench. "You know…I never realized how small this place is." Yoshiro says. "Out of all the cities I've been to this has to be the only one without a toy-r-us or a really good toy store for kids…maybe I can get Grimmjow to build one." "That sounds nice and all but who do you know that makes toys." "Your sister." Yoshiro says smiling. Izzy chuckled. "Cute but no. Oichi makes stuff animals and clothes. I don't think she could make toy, toy's ya know." Yoshiro pouted. "True…I guess that idea goes on the back burner."
"Hey! It's Izzy!" They heard someone yell out. Izzy lifted her head to see Shelia and Amanda with two men she had never seen before. She stood up. "Hi you two…um…who is your friends?" Shelia sighs. "Our bodyguards that we 'inherit' from our father. Don't worry about them. Are you two shopping for Kenny's birthday?" Izzy nods. "We just got here. Sadly, we don't know what to buy him…can you help us?" Izzy smiled. "Of course! From what Oichi says he now likes, Hawkeye, Monkeys, the color green, and stuff like building blocks or like more advance toys. Oichi said he is really smart!" Shelia smiles, almost proudly. "That's good. Even under that witch our brother was able to get a wonder trait from father. Ben and Lexton has to. Even though are more arrogant." Izzy chuckle. "I'm sure you are pretty smart yourself. Why don't we find some children books for Kenny and you can help him read?" Shelia nods. "Okay! I can do that." Amanda smiled brightly. "Then let's get this shopping trip started!" She took Shelia's hand and wrapped her arm around Izzy and dragged them off.
Kensei, Shinji, and Rose were having a break in Kensei's office today. Kensei was typing away on his computer. Shinji sighs with depression in his voice. "I always wanted to come in this office but not with you sitting in that chair." Kensei's eye twitched but he ignored the comment. "You are very pushy about this woman." Rose says. "I thought she wasn't even all that good?" "She didn't have proper training. She was only holding the spot until they could find someone to replace her. I don't like how they did it, but it's done so can we move on? I got enough things to worry about." "Like the rumors on how you treated her so rudely, and how you shamed her in front of everyone, oh and how you basically kicked her out without giving any sympathy that she was pregnant." Rose says with a smile. "What!?" Kensei says slamming his fist on the table. "Who said that!?" "Those are the rumors that have been floating around for a while." Rose says chuckling. "We even had request for transfers. Mainly from women since you do not know how to treat one." "I do know how to…you cannot be serious!"
"Serious as can be. I have the folders on my desk as we speak. Are you going to threaten them into staying because then I would really have to get involved?" Rose says. Scratching his head, Kensei sighs. "No, it's whatever, but I thought we could no longer do transfers? What's up with that?" "Seems like Byakuya, Toshiro, Unohana, Jushiro, Oichi, and the old man, came up with an agreement about those. They thought it would be a good idea for people to do transfers. Oichi and Byakuya made some wonderful points and they got everyone to agree on it. Now workers who do not wish to be in the same unit can request to leave." "What!? How come I just heard about this?" Kensei asked. "Do you even read the paperwork?" Shinji asked. "How do you expect to fill the tiny, beautiful shoes of Oichi. Speak of that, what are you going to do with the fashion part of this building?" "Shouldn't Oichi still be contract under that?" Kensei asked. "Not if she's fired…so…what are you going to do?"
"She's not fired though." Kensei says. They gave him a blank look. "Um…we're pretty sure she is." Rose chuckled. "Did you hit your head a little harder when you fell down the stairs." "Shut up." He says pulling papers out of his desk. He threw it on the desk. Shinji picked them up. "These are Oichi's personals…" He opened them and frowned. "You have her on leave?" "Yes, she has at least 90 days to figure out what she wants to do. She is always welcome to come back to this division and work in the fashion office." "Did you tell her this?" Rose asked a bit shocked at Kensei's actions. "No, I wanted to let her cool down from everything first, plus isn't she planning a birthday party for one of those kids?" "Ah yeah…one of the old man's kid. Sheesh…it's hard to believe that he is dead…" Shinji says. "He gave us the worst time before Aizen took over." "Mhm…" Kensei says. He then stops and smirks. "Bingo. Found it."
"What have you been doing all this time?" Rose asked. "I was looking up information on that Tory woman." "The child abuser? The mother of those kids Oichi is looking after." "Yes, I always wondered why she was kept around, and I figured out why. I wanted to give this to Oichi as an apology for how I treated her and hope she'd come back." Shinji sighs. "Look at you having such a good heart. What did you find?"
"As I suspected, Tory came from poor family. They didn't have much so instead they sold her to Baraggan as a simple maid. From the reports it seems she wormed her way to become his wife and lived the life in luxury." "Ha…so she got greedy…" Shinji says. "Basically, but she gave him something no other woman could do and that was give him children." "Hmm…weird…so you're saying every woman Baraggan was with was unable to give birth?" Rose asked. "Yeah. They all ended in either miscarriage or the woman got rid of it herself. I ran up some old names under Baraggan and saw he had plenty of lovers. In each report on them, they either visited the doctor many times to have an abortion or were having a miscarriage."
"You think Tory had something to do with it?" Rose asked. "I don't know really. It's possible since she was a maid. She could have poisoned the food or hurt them to where they didn't want have a baby or even caused the miscarriages herself…it's hard to tell right now." Shinji sighs. "That woman. Send those files to Unohana. It may help her build a bigger case against Tory. Now how is this supposed to help Oichi?" "Right. It seems Baraggan had a will. Even his lawyers didn't think he left one. But the old man was slick. In the event something happened to him he hid it in an encrypted file. It was on the file that Oichi had once brought in." "Nice. That is some good work. Oichi would give you a big hug for that." They watched Kensei cheeks turn light pink. He cleared his throat quickly. "I don't need something like that! I just want her to come back to work! Shut up!" He yelled. Shinji smirked. "Oooo has someone fallen for a taken woman. I cannot wait to see how this plays out." Rose laughed making Kensei's face turn red. "It's not like that!" Kensei snaps at him. The two men shrug their shoulders. "The more you deny it the more the truth speaks." Rose says as he flips his hair back over his shoulders.
Frank pulled up quickly at the park. Putting the car in park, he closed the door, nearly slamming it and ran through the park looking for Oichi and Jess. "Frank over here!" He heard Jess call out. He turned and saw them sitting at the private area that was blocked off for Kendric's party. Oichi and Jess were sitting under the gazebo eating some taco's from a taco truck. Frank rushed over to them. "Jess, Oichi, are you both okay?" "Yes, for now. Well…" She looked at Oichi. Frank turned to Oichi to see she had a puffy face from crying and was stuffing her face as much as she could. "She panic and just started eating and eating. That's like her 10th plate…and she stopped talking to me…I feel bad…I shouldn't have startled her like that."
"You did nothing wrong Jess." Frank says with a smile. "It is good that your training hasn't been wasteful. You took yourself and Oichi out of a dangerous situation." "Yeah…but now what? She won't stop eating…and I can't calm her down." "Did you call Grimmjow?" Jess pouted. "No…I figured I could calm her down myself." Frank chuckled. "Jess at this time, Oichi is pregnant so her emotions are flaring up really high right now. Sometimes it's best to let her partner ease her back down." Jess pouted more. "If I could, I'd be her partner…" Frank shook his head. "Where is this taco truck?" Jess pointed over to the side of the street. "I'll buy more for her, you call Grimmjow so he can come get her. All the while…" He drops his voice so Oichi couldn't hear. "I'll do a full sweep of the area." Jess nods.
Once Frank went to the taco truck, Jess groans and pulls her phone out. She dialed Grimmjow's number and waited.
At the shop, Grimmjow was yawning. He leans back in his chair. "I shouldn't be worry. I doubt anyone is dumb enough to come collect on me but..." He scratched his head. "I should tell her but I don't want her to freak out. Then again she will freak out if I don't tell her..." He groans. "Fuck it. I'd rather she freak out now then to freak out later." Just as when he goes to pick up his phone it rings. Looking at it he frowned to see Jess's number. He answered it on the fourth ring. "Yeah?" "I know you saw me calling." "So what if I did…what do you want? I'm kinda busy here." "I need you to come to the park." "Why?" "Do you have to question everything I say and do? Just come." "Do I look like a fucking errand boy who comes at your beck and call? If you want something call your own man." Jess snitches her teeth. "It's about Oichi." Grimmjow rubs his face. "….." "Hello?" "Why do you do this shit?" "Do what!?" "Why didn't you just start out with in the first place! Instead of demanding me to do what you want KNOWING I'm going to flat out rejected it!" He stands up and grab his coat and keys. "Dammit woman, are you purposely trying to get a rise out of me or something? Do you like the fact that we argue?" "N-No…but you do have a point. I'm sorry…I don't mean to try to start an argument, but you can be so rude sometimes! All I ask is for you to come to the park and you start biting my head off! You are lucky I don't break you in half!" "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, what the fuck ever…I'm on my way." "Than…" He hangs up. "Tisk…might get an ear full from doing that…" He smirked. "But it is worth it."
He opened his door and walked by the front office where Harribel was. "Hey I'm going out. I'll be back in a bit." "Okay, what do you want me to tell Nnoitra when he finishes his job?" "Tell him to wrap out the last project so we can mark it off the list. Once we get that shit done, I can rub it in her face." He said laughing as he walked out the door. Harribel shook her head. "That man…" He phone buzzes and she grabs it. It was a call from Mila Rose. Harribel chuckled. "Seems like she is finally calling for some actual advice. How nice."
7 minutes later, Grimmjow pulled up to the park and got out. He notices Franks car and rolls his eyes thinking Jetter was going to be there. 'Great…just wonderful…' He walked past a tree and an arm reached out to grab him but Grimmjow was too quick for that. He grabbed the arm and pulled it down, forcing the person to fall forward. He then took his knee and was about to bring it to the person's face when it was caught by their hand. He heard a chuckle. "Not bad." Grimmjow narrowed his eyes and then sighs letting the person go. "You are asking for a death wish Mr. Bodyguard."
Frank chuckled and brushed himself off. "I only wanted to test your skills. I have been wondering how bad your bite is since you bark so much. No one has grabbed me like since Jess's younger days. I'm impressed." "Uh huh…what are you doing here…" "I was called by Jess. She and Oichi ran into a little problem and I wanted to tell you about it before you go yelling your head off at her." "Only if she pisses me off. What problem." "She and Oichi are being stalked by one of your former associates." Grimmjow frowned. "Yammy is in max security prison, Starrk is doing whatever, and the other two are supposedly dead…so that just leaves that nut case scientist…what does he want with Oichi. To a man like that she wouldn't be interesting to him." "You may be wrong about that but for now, we believe that he is after Jess. He might want to use Oichi to bring her to him. They were following Jess and her family in the mall a few days ago." Grimmjow sighs. "Got it." He walked past him. "If you like…we can put a protection detail around…" "No thanks." Grimmjow says walking to the Gazebo. Jess shot him a glare but then sighs out.
Grimmjow looked at Oichi see her eating. He walked up to the Gazebo and slid in beside her. He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her cheek. Oichi started to slow down her eating. He reached up to her head and pushed it to his chest. "Everything is alright now." He says softly. Jess watched as Oichi tears up and snuggle into his chest. Grimmjow glanced over and smirked at her. Jess let out a dark chuckle as she snapped a fork she was using in half.
"Anyways…Frank told me what happened. Did you talk to Ulquiorra?" "No…I mean he offered to take care of it, but I thought Frank would be able to handle it." "You need to let Ulquiorra handle it." "Yea but…I don't want him walking that dark path again. What if he becomes too scared to be with me and Nova?" "Then you're an idiot." Jess groans. "Can you please not insult me here for once!?" "You are doing it to yourself. You are thinking about the wrong things. You do realize that unlike me Ulquiorra never quit doing what he does!? You think he just sits at work all day doing what I pay him to do? No, that guy has spies all over this freaking city! I bet you he already knows more then you or your uncle know. Do you even know what he use to do when he worked for Aizen!?" "No…I didn't want to ask…" Jess says rubbing her hands.
"He tracks down and 'take care' of people who turned their back on him. Meaning he has eyes and ears everywhere. Talk to him because I swear Jess if this shit really is just about you and you drag Oichi into this I will never forgive you." Jess bit her lip and hangs her head down. "I'm sorry…" She tears up. "I don't want to put Oichi in harm's way. I don't what is going on and I don't know what this person wants from me. If I did then we wouldn't be in this situation like this." She puts her hands over her face and shook. "I left home to avoid shit like this. My uncle pressures for me to take over, the friends and family I've lost…I just wanted a normal life again with Ulq and my baby girl…"
Grimmjow sighs and runs his hand through his hair. "Let's go." Jess sniffles looking up at him. "Where?" "We are going back to my job and you are going to talk with Ulquiorra. Don't be all shy and shit either. It's irritating when you can try to boss me around but become a china doll when he is around." Jess blushed, rubbing a tear out of her eye. 'A china doll? Is he trying to compliment me?' Grimmjow gathered up the food Oichi had eaten and tossed it into the trash. She had fallen asleep on him while he and Jess were talking.
He picked her up carefully and he and Jess walked back to his car. He put Oichi in the front seat and buckled her in. Jess slid into the back and waved at Frank who waved back. Grimmjow got in and they drove back to his job.
At Oichi's house, Faye was sitting on the floor with Naomi and Alisha in front of her. "I'm a little tea pot short and stout." She sings clapping her hands. "Here is my handle, here is my spout, When I get all steamed up hear me shout: Tip me over and pour me out!" The girls screamed out in delight as Faye start tickling them. Faye laughed. "You two are such cuties!" In the kitchen, Ronnie was making them a snack. He had his hair in a ponytail and one of Grimmjow's aprons on. He was making Banana bites. It was made with some bananas, a cup of peanut butter, some apple juice, some vanilla extract, flour, oats, and a small dose of baking soda. When he was done mixing it, he had made them round and baked them. The kitchen started to smell a bit like banana's. It led into the living room where the girls were clapping with Faye. They stopped when the smell hit their nose. Faye watched their eyes lit up. "Aw! Dear! The girls smell their snacks. Hurry before they get fussy!" "Foo Foo?" Naomi asked patting Faye's leg. "Yup! Pop is bringing you some foo foo!" Ronnie walked out carrying two small trays. They had a little bowl with banana bites on it, a cup of juice, and some mix fruit. He handed one of the trays to Faye. Alisha got up and walked over to Ronnie. "Pop…foo?" She asked. He smiled. "Yes, I have your food right here. He picks her up and move to the couch. Faye giggled while she started to feed Naomi. "Looks like Alisha prefers you more than me. That's adorable."
"She is soft spoken and doesn't open to others easily. I believe Oichi was like this when she was a baby. Danni on the other hand…" Faye laughs. "Oh yes, she was like little Naomi over here." She scoop some food in Naomi's mouth. "Mmmm!" She hums out holding her cheeks. "But she was so cute when she ate like this!" The doorbell rings. "Hmm…were we expecting anyone?" "No…" Ronnie put the tray down but carried a bit of the banana bite with him. He handed it to Alisha who started nibbling on it. Walking to the door, he opened and saw Danni standing there with a frown. He whistle. "I was wondering when you were coming. Your mother is in the living room." Danni sighs and walked past him.
She peaked her head around and gulps. Now, Danni was rarely afraid of anything. She'd jump out a plane without a Shute. She'd run into the fray while bullets are being shot at her. She'd even jump into a pool of acid then to deal with her mother. She bit her lip and was about to back away before Ronnie place a hand on her shoulder and pushed her in. She gasps getting Faye's attention. Naomi saw her and smiled. "Gram!" Danni eyes sparkled but then the sparkled disappeared when she saw Faye. "Hello daughter dear. It's nice for you to come and visit us." Danni rubbed the back of her neck. "H-Hello mother. Sorry I've been busy…" "Yes, too busy to come see your mother, or your grandchildren. You don't help Oichi around the house. You don't bother to babysit. Nope. You rather sit around with a man that we have no idea is." "I mean…you do kinda know him. Besides, I didn't want to tell you all my business with men. I've been with one man faithfully in my married days, cut me some slack here!" Faye gets up. "Yes, and since then you slept around and did these one-night stands which I didn't mind at first. You and Dante were an arrange marriage and we did make that choice for you, however, don't you think you are losing sight over here?"
"No, I don't." Danni says. Faye places a hand on her hip. "Oh?" "Mom, look, I don't need you judging me right now. Okay. I found a really nice man who treats me great. Better then Dante ever could. He makes me happy. So happy that…I've decided to retire and settle back down." Ronnie frowned. "Your retiring…did you ever plan to tell us?" "Y-Yes I mean…kinda…I wasn't sure if I was really going to do it…" Ronnie sighs. "I've already told you that you can do whatever you like so long as it makes you happy. However, it wouldn't hurt to keep us in the loop of major events in your life…" Danni rubbed her arm. "I'm sorry…" Faye sighs. "It's a good thing Oichi told us all of this before-hand. I would have been a lot madder." "Oichi told you?" "Unlike you sweetie, my granddaughter does keep in contact. Maybe you can change that when we leave to go home…for starters you can bring this new man over to dinner."
Danni nods. "Okay…When do you leave?" "At the end of the month. Make sure you tell me what he likes and drinks. I'm sure Oichi wouldn't mind lending me her kitchen for the night." "Okay mom…c-can I have my grandbabies today?" Faye smiles. "Of course! Grimmjow texted us earlier. Ron packed a bag for you and everything. Enjoy your grands dear and next time, give me a little call. I miss the times we use to talk. Even if it's to check up on me?" Danni smiles. "I will do that." She walked up to Faye and they hugged. Ronnie smiles softly. 'Now if we can just get our other children to do that…'
In a small building underground, Terry was sitting down with a toothpick in his mouth. He was surrounded by a lot of high-tech laptops and machinery. He sighs out and leans back in his chair. "So bored…I can't believe my play toy broke…oh well…" He glanced back at the wall where there was a lifeless body sitting there. "At least he told me some good info." He chuckled holding up a phone. "Now Mr. Granz. Let's see how smart of a scientist you really are. He pulled in the phone to his laptop and his screen starts to flash as it scans through the phone. Every text message, calling log, and pictures started to pull up. He whistles. "Man, you guys need to get a burn phone."
"Terry…I hope you aren't playing around." Terry looked up to see Dante walking in with Ginjo walking behind him. "Come on uncle. Do you think I would play around at a time like this?" He looked at Ginjo and smirked. "A new errand boy? "Hardly, unlike Grimmjow, I can actually use this one." Ginjo chuckled and dragged in a passed out Luppi. "Jetter thinks we will be here in the next three days. My associate will make sure the boy Lexton stay out of our hair for a while to." Dante sits down. "Good. Just make sure you remember our little deal." "Of course. I'm a man of my word. I'll get you everything you need."
Dante smirked slightly and then looked at Terry. "What did you find on the former division 8 leader of Aizen's." "I learned we aren't the only ones tracking him and he knows somethings that he shouldn't know…" "Explain." "You were right about him wanting to get to Jess. It looks like he is really into that blood of hers, but it seems like somehow he learned about your connection with Yamamoto and that led him to Oichi as well." Dante narrowed his eyes. Ginjo rubbed his chin. "Other then a last name you share a connection with that monster?" "Is he after Jess or Oichi?" Dante asked. "Hard to tell…those two are always together so he can be going after them both but from the call logs it looks like he is unsure himself or is waiting for the perfect moment to strike. There was a message from a few days ago where they had the best time to take Oichi and that was after dropping the twins off at the day care center. She was alone and there isn't much security in the parking lot. He asked if he should take her and the response he got was not yet." Dante rubbed his chin. "Hmm…keep digging. With any luck, Jetter may have already figured something out. Keep an eye on Aizen's building for any strange sighting. Make sure you go back through every fed you can. I'm not to bother if it's Jess, he is after but Oichi is another story."
"Right, also there is some chat in the underworld log. There has been a bounty placed on Grimmjow and the others and anyone who got out before Aizen's downfall really." Terry says. "Do they know?" "Sort of? I mean it's Grimmjow? They were at the top for a reason, right? I doubt anyone would really try."
Dante gets up. "Send me those links for those bounties." He looked at Ginjo. "For you, I'll get you whatever you need to help you complete your task." Ginjo nods. "Of course." Dante lit a cigarette. "It's always the same thing. Even when I'm not working for that old bastard, I still must clean up his messes. I'll make sure he pays for everything he has done to this family."
The hours passed through the day; the evening light slowly turned to night. At Jess's she was sitting on the bed drying her hair. She had just taken a shower and was wearing a black t-shirt and black lace panties. Ulquiorra was in Nova's room putting her to sleep. When Grimmjow took them back to his job, she sat down and talked to him about, but he didn't really respond to it. He told her thank you and that they would talk more when they get home. She tossed the towel in the hamper. She took a brush and started brushing her hair. 'I wonder what he is going to say…I also need to call Oichi and make sure she's okay.'
The door opened and Ulquiorra walked in with a baby monitor. He put it on the nightstand. He took the chair that was at his computer desk and turned it around and sat in front of her. Jess blushed slightly with him looking at her. "The man that may be after you is named Szayelaporro. He was the head of the science center in the basement of our company. I assumed he wasn't captured or killed when they did that raid. I knew he would escape somehow. He is narcissistic and can be extremely flamboyant. He is a ruthless, cruel, and sadistic man that only views people as research material. He cares nothing for a human life and believes everyone should just be sheep and allow themselves to become his plaything." Jess shivered at that. What could this man want from her?
"However…" Ulquiorra says. "He is very cocky and somewhat unstable. Thinking he is untouchable as led him to make mistakes. Mistakes I have caught." Jess looked down. "The day at the mall…" "I figured it wasn't long until he made a move. Though I didn't except it to happen while we were together with Nova." Jess frowned. "I should have let you do what you needed to do. I'm sorry…" "It is nothing to apologize about. I already knew that would happen and had a backup plan. I assure you that nothing bad will happen to you or Nova. Even if I have to bloody my hands to do so." Jess rubbed her arm. "I don't want that though…what if…what if you don't come back to me? Lose sight of everything and leave me and Nova. I don't think I could handle that."
She heard him sigh. She frowned, getting upset. "Do you think me not worrying is…" Her eyes widen for a moment as she saw a genuine small on his face. Her heart started to flip; her face turned massively red. She was speechless. Smirks and small brief smiles she was used to but this…this was…new!
The smile disappeared and Ulquiorra went back to his blank expression. "I will always come back to you Jessica. Don't ever think I wouldn't." Unable to hold back, Jess got up and rush to him slamming a kiss on his lips. She sat on his lap and pressed her body as close as she possible could towards him. She felt his hands wrap around her waist and hold her tight. She breaks the kiss breathing hard. "Make love to me…" Ulquiorra stood up and walked over to the bed, holding her. He placed her back on the bed and removed his shirt. "Very well then…until the sun rises and new morning light flashes through the window…you are mine." Jess smiled and brought him down for a kiss.
At Oichi's she was giving Kendric a bath. He was playing with a rubber duck while she washed his hair. Grimmjow walked by with a towel. "Hey babe. How you feeling?" "A little sick." He chuckled. "From eating all those tacos." Oichi frowned. "I couldn't help it. Knowing that we were being followed…what if…what if it was Luppi. Trying to kidnap me again." She place a wet hand on her stomach. "The last time that happened he…" "It wasn't Luppi, and they weren't after you. They are after Jess most likely." "Why her? She hasn't done anything!" "It's not every day you meet a chick with superhuman strength and a quick healing body. Plus look at the family she comes from. She's practically begging herself to be taken but, that's beside the point. Ulquiorra won't let that happen." Oichi looked down. "I guess…"
"Auntie?" Oichi looked at Kendric. "You need hug?" He asked. Oichi giggled. "I do but after you get out and dry yourself. You got a big day tomorrow." "Me?" He asked. Oichi laughed. "Yup, it's your birthday." Kendric's head dropped. "Oh…" Oichi and Grimmjow looked at each other then back at Kendric. "You don't want a birthday?" Kendric shrugs. "Mama said…she hate it." Oichi rolled her eyes. "Your mama don't know anything from a can of paint. Your birthday is the most wonderful day there is and we are going to celebrate it as a family." "Family?" "Yup, me, Grim, the twins, and you. One big happy family!" Oichi says holding her arms out wide. Kendric smiles and then giggles a bit. "HeeHee…I like auntie and uncle…and babies…" Grimmjow chuckled. "We like you to squirt. Now come on, we have to get you ready for bed." Oichi reached out rinse his hair out. "I can do it." He says. Oichi smiles and nods. They watched him clean his hair out and used the ducky to squirt water on his head. "I done." "Good boy!" Oichi says taking the towel from Grimmjow.
Kendric stood up and Grimmjow helped him out the tub. Oichi wrapped the towel and covered him before snuggling him. He giggled. "You are so adorable Kenny. You are going to have the best birthday ever! I promise!"
The very next day around 1pm. Oichi and Faye were in Kendric's room picking out clothes. "It's going to be warm so let's get that cute green dino shirt and the green monkey shirt." Oichi says. Faye went through the closet and grabbed the two shirts. "Okay Kenny, which one you want to wear today?" Kendric hums out and then points to the monkey on. "Monkey…" Faye handed the shirt to Oichi. "I'll get some brown cargo shorts and his black and green shoes." Faye says grabbing things. "Thank you, Grandma. Did you take it easy with mama yesterday?" "I didn't give her a piece of my mind, but I am happy she found someone. Is he a nice man?" "Yes, he treats mama great. I think she may consider having another baby." Faye laughs. "Oh my! I might get another grandchild out of her! Wonderful news! I hope she has one. Let it be a boy though. We have wayyy to many girls in our family." She and Oichi laughed at that.
Downstairs, Grimmjow was on the phone, packing up the gifts, using his Bluetooth. "Yeah, well it's not going to work in a day dumbass. I told you we will leave it there and collect it at the end of the month. I don't care if people took pictures of you. Get it done!" He hangs up on the call and sighs out. "I swear, they act like babies. I don't have time for this." Ronnie was drinking a beer. "You sound hard at work." "Just dealing with idiots." Grimmjow says sighing. "Mhm…have you given thoughts on you and Oichi's wedding?" "Yes, I would like the number to her other grandmother." Ronnie nods. "I will give it to you then. I would say speak to Dante about it, but that boy is never here when you really need him to be." Grimmjow chuckled. "That part is true."
The doorbell rings. "That must be Jess." He goes to answer the door. Indeed, it was Jess. She looked a little tired as she yawns. Her hair was in a simple ponytail. She wore a light green shirt with a banana on it and blue shorts with flats. Ulquiorra was wearing a dark green shirt and black pants and shoes. Nova was in a green onesie with a monkey face on it. She was awake and looking right at Grimmjow with a look that said, 'pick me up now.'
"You look like shit." Grimmjow says chuckling as he took Nova from her car seat. She cuddled up to him. "Shut up…" Jess walking by him. Ulquiorra walked in and closed the door behind him. Jess walked into the living room and sat down. Ronnie sips on his beer. "…I hope your late-night activities don't catch up to you." Jess blushed and looked away. Ulquiorra sat beside her. Oichi walked down with Faye behind her carrying Kendric. "Good morning!" Oichi says. She spotted Jess and giggled. "Isn't it wonderful when you carry on all through the night." Jess face got hotter. "Oichi please don't tease me early in the morning." "HeeHee, sorry sis. I can't help it. Your tired, sleepy, after woohoo face is so cute." Jess covered her face. "Oichiii…." Oichi laughed and sat beside her. "You are adorable!" Nova let out a cute giggle. "See, Nova thinks your adorable to!" Faye shakes her head and puts Kendric down. "Enough teasing now dear. We got a big day ahead, right?" Oichi nods. "Yup, I can't wait. Everything should be going great with mama there and all. If there is one thing she loves to do, that is to bark orders."
At the park, everyone had showed up. In the private section in the park the Gazebo was decorated with green banners. There was a large one wrapped on the top that said happy third birthday. There was paper cut out of monkeys that wear hanging off the side. In front of the Gazebo, eight tables were spread out. Three of them were food, three of them were gifts, and the last two were for everyone to sit and eat. The tables all have green tablecloth tables, monkey plates, forks, knifes, and cups. There were green, white, and black balloons attached to the back of the chair at the kids table for Kendric. Danni was looking at the spot where the tree and time capsule was supposed to go. Everyone was asked to bring something. Mainly the kids though.
Danni was wearing a dark green shirt that had monkey prints on them and black capris and black tennis shoes. She looks around and frowned. "Come on people! Kendric is on his way here and everything needs to be perfect!" She called out. Ichigo, Chad, Uryu, and Ben had a roll up banner in their hands. "We are good over here." Orihime and the girls were fixing up the table of food. Izzy and Florina were making sure the gifts were in plain sight. Shunsui was sitting on the ground on a blanket keeping the twins attention. They were wearing an adorable green monkey jumpsuit with tails and an ear hoodie. They had a white shirt under it and white shoes. Naomi was bouncing up and down to some music Ben had brought. Alisha was watching her, clapping her hands.
Shunsui chuckled. "You two are quite cute." Shelia and Amanda were taking pictures of the twins. "Such cute babies!" Amanda then gasps. "What is it?" Shelia asked. Amanda turned her phone around. "I wanted to start streaming but I had no idea what to start out with. Now, I want to use this party to start! Is that okay?" Shelia shrugs. "I mean sure, so long as you don't attract any weirdo's." Amanda giggled. "What should I name it humm…well I'll just roll along with it." She turned on her streaming app and started to do a live recording. She put it on herself. "Hello world! Today is the new start for my future channel! It doesn't have a name yet, but I'll come up with one soon! So, today is my little brothers 3rd birthday and we are waiting in the park for him to come, we are so excited!" She says giggling. "Before that though, look at the cuteness that has been going on here!" She turned the camera on the twins who were both now bouncing to the music. "These two cuties' here are twins and they are the daughters of Ms. Oichi and her fiancé Grimmjow! Look at how cute they are! Also, their outfits were handmade by Ms. Oichi. If you want clothes for yourself or little ones then you should check out her shop in town, Skyway Fashion." The girls turned around to her and smiled as they bounced. "Aw! Go babies! Go babies! Get it!" The girls giggled and clapped their hands, jiggling to the music and Amanda's cheering.
"Aren't they adorable! Well, I'll check back in soon. Thank you for being part of my first live stream!" She ends it and squeals. "This is going to be amazing!"
The other children were running around playing until Kendric came. They had games lined up for them. Everyone but Lexton was there to which Ben wasn't to upset about. So long as Kendric was okay Lexton didn't mind not staying out of eyesight. He felt a tug on his arm and turned to see Riruka wearing a light green dress and flats. Her hair was straight down. Ben smiled. "Hey! I didn't think you would come!" She blushed. "Shut up. I didn't do it for you. I did it for you little brother." "You denying it makes you look even cuter. Wanna come to my place after this?" Riruka turned her head. "No! I do not you pervert!" "Fine, then how about another date?" "Wha…" "I think we should go on another date alone this time. It was fun with Izzy and her boyfriend, but I want more time to impress you. Think about it?" He kisses her forehead before walking away. Riruka held her forehead with a flustered face. Izzy chuckled seeing it. 'It will click sooner or later. It did for me.' She spotted Yoshiro helping set up some games. 'It worked well for me.'
Tatsuki rushed up and smiled. "They are here everyone! Get in your places!" Danni smiled brightly. Ichigo! Boys! Get the banner ready! Everyone grab the sparklers and poppers! Make sure the children are secure, so they don't get scared!" The music stopped as everyone waited for the birthday boy. Amanda started to stream. "Everyone, this is it! Shh!"
A few feet from them, Oichi and Jess were walking in front holding Kendric's hand. He was blindfolded. Grimmjow and Ronnie was holding more of Oichi's and Jess's gifts. Faye was carrying Nova who was playing with her finger and Ulquiorra was carrying her car seat and baby bag.
Oichi smiled seeing everyone ready as they walked to the private section. Amanda looked so overjoyed that it looked like she couldn't control herself. Oichi and Jess walked Kendric up to the middle where the tree would be planted. He sniffed. "Food?" Oichi giggled. "Yup!" Jess bends down and take off the blindfold. His eyes were closed. "Open your eyes sweetie." Oichi says. Kendric rubs his eyes a bit and then opened them. When he did, everyone yelled. "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNY!" They pop the streamers and sound the poppers. Ichigo, Chad, and Uryu, dropped the banner that let out even more balloons and streamers. It had Kendric's name and picture of him. Jess smiled. "Wow! That one is amazing!" Oichi chuckled and looked down at Kendric who's eyes were so widen she feared they were pop out. "F-For me!?" He finally says. Ben, Amanda, and Shelia walked up. "Happy birthday little brother!"
Oichi let his hand go and pushed him towards them. His face was a little flushed with everything go on. Amanda held her arms out. "It's your birthday!" Shelia smiled to. "Ken's birthday is the best!" Ben laughed before Kendric tears up. "M-My birthday…best?" He then ran into Amanda's arms. Shelia hugged them to. Oichi sniffed trying not to cry. Once the hugging was over the kids ran up to Kendric. Bella was first. "Ken happy birthday!" She hugged him but quickly let go and blushed. "S-Sorry…" She says rubbing her fingers together. Emma giggled. "You a big kid now!" Grayson pouted. "Your birthday, Be happy!" Ichika claps jumping up and down. "Yay! Birthday! Birthday!" Eli held his panda bear. "H-Happy birth day…" Kazui smiled. "Yay! Cake!" Noah nods in agreement. Kendric looked down a bit embarrassed. He then felt tugs on his shorts. He looked down to see the twins had made their way to him. They smiled at him and giggled. "Babies are happy to. T-Thank you…" He says getting shy. "Awwwww! If wasn't pregnant I would snuggle them all right now!" Oichi says. Jess laughs.
Amanda caught this all on her phone. She walks away towards the back and turn the camera to her. She smiles softly as a few tears leaked out of her eyes. She rubbed them away. "That was my little brother. He had it rough for a few years. He turns three today and this is the first time he is having a party. He has been through some rough times but thanks to Ms. Oichi and all of her friends they made him…us…happy again. I'm such a lucky person to have meet them all." She smiles. "Until next time, Amanda sighing out." She ends the live stream and sighs. 'Oh Kenny…from now on I'll make sure you never be sad like that ever again.'
In a town called Hillford, days away from the city, Soifon was combing through the area alone. She was wearing a black overcoat over her normal attire. The town was a small, underdeveloped type of town. It was overpopulated with outcast that couldn't make it in Karakura city. She was doing an annoying man a favor. Normally she wouldn't stoop so low for things like this, but she was promised some high-quality photo's that she desperately wanted to get her hands on. Shaking her head, she walked over to an old building that didn't look like it was being used for much. Making sure she wasn't followed she opened the door and slipped in. The inside was small and there wasn't much furniture inside.
Pulling out a sheet of paper she made sure she was in the right location. "This damned fool…there is nothing here but dust and mold…" She lifted her head up and walked around carefully. "Why would a scientist hide in such a run-down piece of…" She felt a dip in her foot. Looking down she pushed her right foot down on a board and it bent inward. "Hiding in plain sight huh." She stepped back and with the tip of her foot she lifted the loose board and saw a trap door. Smirking she quickly removed the boards with her foot. Knelling down she rubbed the door handle. "Hmm…it's cold. He might not have been here in a while or haven't come up yet." She pulled the door open with a loud squeak. She pushed it down and saw a staircase. "Here goes nothing I guess…" She took her time walking down the stairs. They were old and moldy. There wasn't much light, luckily she had her own flashlight just in case.
When she finally reached the bottom, she turned the light around in the new room. It was clean. To clean. "Let's see if I can find a light switch." Her fingers moved around the room until she felt a switch. She flipped it up and the light flickered once or twice and then flooded the room in light. Turning off her flashlight she studied the room. It looked much newer than the one upstairs. "So did he build a new place under here? Interesting." She ran her fingers over the wall trying to locate something. She stopped when her hand pushed on something. A hissing sound was heard and she stepped back as the walls rotated.
Suddenly she was hit with the most foul-smelling scent she had ever smelled. The sight however was even more foul. Along the walls now, were bloody tools, Small containers that contain body parts. Pictures and notes on a board. The clean room she stepped in was looking more and more like a mad scientist lab. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw a table that was covered by a red cloth. It was the source of the smell. Walking to it she grabbed it and pulled it back. Her eyes narrowed. "How horrible…" She flipped the cloth back turning her head. She pulled out her phone and called her office. "Marechiyo. It's me. I want you to contact division head 4, 10, and 12 immediately. I'll send you the location. Make it happen." She hangs up and walks over to the board.
She grabs a picture and looks at it closely. It was a picture of Szayel, but he had different color hair. 'Is this…' She grabbed more pictures to see it him with a different look, name, everything. There was one though, that looked way different from the others. It was like he changed his face. Soifon eyes snapped up. "That bastard really is sickening." She looked at the table. "Really sickening." At the edge of the wall, she saw a map and a passport. She picked it up and saw that the map was marked with different pins circled. One of those was Scotland. "Is this his end game?" She looked around once more and spotted a small table with a single folder. She grabbed it and opened it. She frowned looking at what she read. "Maybe not…"
Back at the park, the party was in full swing. Danni left Jess, Orihime, Tatsuki, and Rukia in charge of the games. The twins were with Florina and Izzy with Hisagi and Yoshiro while Oichi, who was now sitting with Nel, stuffed her face. Ronnie and Faye were sitting down eating some beanie weenies when Danni walked over with Shunsui. "M-Mom…dad? This is Shunsui…" Ronnie raises his eyebrow. "You…" Shunsui smiled. "Hello Ronnie, nice to see you again." Faye rubbed her chin and then snapped her fingers. "Oh…OH! You are that womanizing pig!" "Mom!" Danni says. Faye smiles. "Sorry sweetie. I meant you were the man that was chasing after all those women." Shunsui chuckled and rubbed his head. "That is true ma'am, but I am a different man now. Now that Danni has finally came to my arms, the only woman I look at is her." Danni blushed at that. "Aw, that was cute. So, when do I get another grandbaby?" Faye asked bluntly. "Mom! Please!" Danni says rubbing her face. Shunsui laughs. "All I can really say is that we're playing Russian roulette." Danni nudged him. "Don't answer her like that!" Ronnie got and got close to Shunsui.
"I couldn't do this the last time because of certain arrangements but I'm free to do it now. Hurt my daughter and I will end you. Simple as that." Shunsui smiles. "I understand, but I will never let Danni go. I thought for sure she was going to be taken before I had a chance to impress her. I'm happy that she's giving me this chance to make her happy." Ronnie narrows his eyes and sighs out. "You were also so weird when I threaten you. It makes me tired." He sits back down beside Faye who rubs his back. "What he means dear is that we support your relationship. Just keep her happy and welcome to the family." Shunsui grabs Danni's hand. "Thank you, ma'am. As soon as Danni gets pregnant you would be the first to know." Danni groans in embarrassment while Faye laughs loudly in amusement.
With the kids, the first game was Simon says and Rukia was explaining the rules. "Now, every time I say Simon says you must do what I say, if I don't say Simon says then that means you're out. Is everyone ready?" The kids nods. "Alright, Simon says touch your head." She put her hand on her head. The kids copied her. "Good! Simon says put your finger on your nose." She puts her finger on her nose and the kids copied her again. "Great! Now…touch your knees!" She touched her knees. Eli touched his knees but the other didn't. "Uh oh! I didn't say Simon says. Eli is out." Eli looked down. "Aw…" Bella pats his head as he goes over to Chad who picks him up. The game went on until it was down to Kendric and Bella. Rukia giggled. "Simon says...hug your neighbor." Bella's face went red as Kendric suddenly hugs her. "Aww…" Oichi says snapping a picture. Jess and Orihime giggle. "That was sneaky." Rukia smiles. "Since Bella didn't hug back it looks like Kendric is the winner of the first game!" Everyone claps. Kendric let Bella go. "Mmm…you smell pretty…" He walked up to Rukia to claim his prize. Bella clasps her hands together. 'He said I smell pretty!' She looks down at her clothes before running back to Chad.
The next game was the potato sack race. The parents help with this one. Orihime held a whistle up while Ichigo and Chad held up a white tape that would be consider as the finish line. Orihime blew the whistle. Ichika jumped up but she ended up falling flat on her face to which Grayson started laughing at her. Eli was too nervous to move and just gave up. Noah and Kazui were doing fine, they wobbled and hopped as Tatsuki cheered them on. Emma giggled as she hops to first place. Ikkaku was also cheering her on to the max. "Yeah! That's my girl!" He yelled making the others chuckle. Bella was struggling a bit and Kendric hops past her, but Emma was the fastest and she ended up coming in first, Kendric second, and Kazui third.
The following game was called the bubble game. Someone would blow out bubbles and the kids would race to pop as many bubbles as they could. Grayson won that game by nearly tackling all the other kids to get the bubbles. Grimmjow couldn't help but laugh at this. Oichi and Nel face palmed themselves.
The next game was a treasure hunt. The kids teamed up with their parents to find treasure marked with the letter X. They were hidden all around the private area in the park. Ikkaku was with Emma. Chad was with Eli. Jess was with Bella. Ichigo was with Kazui. Tatsuki was with Noah. Renji was with Ichika. Grimmjow was with Grayson and Ben was with Kendric. Orihime gave the signal to start, and everyone rushed off. After two minutes though it seemed like the adults became more competitive than the kids. For instance, Grimmjow and Jess got to a small gift box. Grimmjow tried to snatch it first until Jess smacked the back of his head stunning him. She laughed as she grabbed the small box for Bella, and they took off. "Take that jerk!" She called out. "Yeah! Bye uncle!" Bella called out laughing. "GO Daddy!" Grayson yelled. Grimmjow growled rubbing his head. He picked up Grayson and ran after Jess. "You are so going to pay for that!" He yelled. "Yeah!" Grayson yelled.
Oichi chuckled. "You would think the kids would be the ones playing more…" Nel shook her head. "It's hard to tell who are the kids and who are the adults." They both laughed.
Ichigo and Ikkaku were also in the same boat. "Emma found it first so it's going in her bucket!" "That's a load of bull and you know it but whatever, we can find another." Ichigo says. "That's right because you know you would have lost this battle!" Ichigo's eye twitched. "No, because there are more out there." "And me and Emma are gonna get those to. Right Emma!" "Right Daddy!" "So, you mind as well take that empty bucket and give up. It's fine to be a loser sometimes." Ichigo had fire in his eyes. "Alright! So, you want to go! Let's do this! First one to gather more gifts is the winner, the loser has to proclaim who is the best for an entire month and that includes bowing their heads in their presences!" Ichigo yells losing his cool to Ikkaku's taunts. "Deal! Be ready to bow Ichigo! Come on Emma!" "Okay daddy!" Emma says giggling as they ran off. "Daddy come…" Kazui says pointing to a treasure. Ichigo smirked. "Good job!" Kazui smiled as Ichigo picked him up and ran off.
The game was supposed to last at least one to two hours but with the adults playing the game ended in 15 minutes with Chad and Eli coming in first place to everyone's surprise. Noah had given Eli his treasures so he could win. Kendric came in second and Ichika came in third. Grimmjow beat Jess by one and he couldn't help but to show it off with a cocky grin, which got him another back of the head smack. Ichigo and Ikkaku ended up with a tie.
More games were played that also included adults such as the egg toss, where Jess threw an egg in Grimmjow's face because he threw some in her hair. The wheelbarrow race where Ikkaku tripped both Renji and Ichigo to come in first place with Emma. Then it got to the point where the kids didn't want to play anymore games.
Oichi got up with a sigh as Kendric run up to her. "Auntie? Food?" Oichi smiled. "Okay hunny. Let's take a break everyone." Grimmjow huffs out. "We quitin already?" Ikkaku groans. "Things were starting to get interesting." Oichi place a hand on her hips. "Your competitiveness is already tired out the children!" She says lightly snapping. Jess chuckled. "You to Jess!" Oichi says pointing at her, making her pout. "Now, while the kids are taking a break with eating how about you just have a water balloon fight. It's safe, and it's hot outside. You can beat each other with water or whatever." Grimmjow smirked. "Perfect."
Ichigo and Chad quickly started filling up water balloons while Oichi, Orihime, Jess, Tatsuki, Florina, and Izzy help with feeding the children. Kendric eyes were sparkling all over seeing the different kind of food. Amanda giggled. "What to try this, Kenny? It looks really good!" He nods and Amanda started packing his plate up. "Don't stuff him up too much dear. We still have cake to give him." Oichi says fixing Grayson's plate. "Okay!" Amanda says as she packed his plate even more.
Once the kids were set up at the kid table and eating the water balloon fight started. Ichigo and Ikkaku went at it throwing balloons at each other. Chad was Ichigo's back up and kept filling up balloons for him. Grimmjow was relentlessly throwing balloons at Jess. She was avoiding them though. It almost look like she was dancing. "Oooo! Ms. Jess looks like she's dancing!" Emma says giggling. Bella nods eating a hotdog. "Uncle can't hit her." Grayson pouted. "Go daddy Go!"
The twins were clapping as they sat on Faye's lap. "Looks like the twins are excited to. I can't wait till they are older so they can play to." "I think Naomi would be just as aggressive as her father and Danni." Ronnie says. Danni pouted slightly and then smiled. "I wouldn't mind that! If Naomi takes after me that would be wonderful!" Oichi sighs as she sat down. "Yeah, but I'd rather she not get your anger issues…" Danni giggles. "She would be a cute fire ball who can protect her sister from anything." Naomi squeals out before hugging Alisha who giggled. "See, such a cutie pie!"
Grimmjow frowned. "Dammit! Hold still!" Jess chuckled and spun out the way before grabbing a water gun that was being filled by Tatsuki. It was a newer model with strong water pressure, not meant for children. Grimmjow growled. "How in the hell…" Jess chuckled darkly and shot Grimmjow right in the face, knocking him down. She laughed and kept shooting until it was empty. "Looks like Jess is really getting into this." Shunsui says. "Yeah, she could be pretty aggressive herself." Danni says. "I wonder how Nova would be once she starts talking and walking." They looked at Ulquiorra who was feeding Nova.
As a few minutes went by, Oichi thought it was a good idea to have a water balloon fight which was fun at first until some pour soul hit Danni in the face with a water balloon. Danni made sure everyone went down soaking wet and somehow got the kids back into by using them to attack the adults. Everyone ended up covered in water. Since no one expected a water balloon fight out the blue, it was elected that Ichigo and Ikkaku head to the store and bring back towels for everyone. They were the most soaked.
It took them about 30 minutes to an hour to come back and once every dried off, Ben held up a monkey pinata. Kendric's eyes sparkled at this. "Ready birthday boy?" Kendric nods. With the help of Hisagi, Ben hung the pinata up and handed Kendric a toy bat. "Should I blind him?" Ben asked. "No, it's much too dangerous for that." Oichi says.
Kendric took a toy bat that was given to him by Florina. "Swing Kenny! Swing!" Amanda called out. "Hit it!" "Rock it good!" "Tear it down!" Everyone called out, cheering Kendric on. Kendric couldn't help but to smile as he started to hit the pinata. It started to dent more and more in the middle. Grayson jumped up and down. "Hit it! Hit it!" He screamed. Ichika was doing the same and soon all the kids were jumping up and down in excitement. Kendric gave the pinata one more hard smack and the middle busted open and candy started falling out. The kids scrambled to get some. "Woohoo! Go Kenny!" Oichi called out. Kendric reached down and grabbed a lollypop. Bella also reached for it and their hands touched. She gasps and pulls away. "S-Sorry." Kendric picked up the lollypop and handed it to her. "You can have." Bella took it with a blushing face. "T-T-Thank you."
"Can we all just agree that Bella is the cutest right now!" Oichi says snapping pictures. Orihime chuckle. "Her and Kendric are so cute. I wonder if they would date one day." She says humming. Tatsuki nudged her and tilts her head over to where Chad was. He was frowning looking at Bella and Kendric. "Aw, daddy mode activated." Oichi says giggling. "I wonder if that's how Grimmjow will be with the girls." "It may be worse. He may scare every boy they bring home." Jess says. "That's good then." Ronnie says getting up. "If a boy is scared shitless of the father, then how are we supposed to trust them to take care of our daughters." Oichi blinks and thinks back to herself. When she was dating Renji in high school and even into their adult years, Dante scared the crap out of him till the point she had to step in and help every time they came in contact. When he met Grimmjow though…Grimmjow didn't seem afraid of him and even challenged him." Oichi blushed a bit. 'Oh my…' "Well, I better head off." "Where are you going?" Danni asked. "I'm gonna finish setting up Kendric's room while you all are still here." "By yourself?" Danni says getting up. "Don't give me that. I'm not some weak old man who can't do simple tasks." He gave Faye a kiss on the cheek and walked off. Danni huffed out. "He should know his limits…" Faye laughed. "That's your father for you."
With Ronnie gone to set up the room, it was time for cake. Ichigo and Chad brought over two cakes. One was of a cute chibi monkey with a green bow tie. It had a number 3 on it with his name on it with three candles. The other one was the bigger cake with a monkey and banana on it. The personal cake was sat on the kids table. "Ooooo!" Kendric says with sparkling eyes. Oichi giggled as Ben walked over and light the candles. Amanda started streaming again as everyone started to crowd around the table. Everyone started to sing happy birthday while pictures were being taken. Once the song was over Kendric kept staring at the cake. "Kenny, you have to make a wish and blow out the candles." Amanda says. "Wish?" "Yup, what is the most thing you want right now." Kendric looks down and rubs his hands together. "Um…A-A hug from sissys…" He says shyly. Shelia and Amanda's heart did flips. Amanda tossed the camera to Ben who barely caught it. "Aw! Of course! You can have as many hugs you want!" Amanda yelled with tears in her eyes. She started snuggling Kendric making him giggle. Shelia joined in on the snuggle fest. "This is so adorable!" Oichi says as Florina and Orihime snapped pictures.
Ronnie, using a cab, arrived back at Oichi's house when he saw two men standing in front of her yard. "Can I help you to…" He looked them up and down and recognized them from the description Oichi had given him. "The one with the glasses…you must be Lexton…" Lexton turned to him. "And you are?" "Oichi's grandfather, Ronnie…what are you doing here." "Oh…well…I wanted to stop by and look at Kendric's room." "What for." "It's none of your concern old timer. I wanted to see how Kendric was settling down at this place. Just because he was removed from our mother doesn't mean he really is safe here so…" Lexton was grabbed by the collar of his shirt and shoved into the wall of the house. He winches and hisses out in pain from his shoulder. "Are you trying to apply that my granddaughter isn't treating him right because if you are, you need to speak up and say it clearly." He lifted Lexton up against the house off his feet. "U-Unhand me!" "I said speak clearly boy." Ronnie says narrowing his eyes. "T-Tsukishima led me a hand. Don't just stand there!"
Tsukishima held his hand up. "I'm sorry Lex but, I cannot do anything for you here. Your best bet is to apologize for things get rough." Lexton looked down at a glaring Ronnie. "I-I meant no disrespect to your granddaughter, but this is for the safety of my brother is important." "And you think Oichi is doing a worst job then your mother." He raised his fist. "W-Wait!"
Right before Ronnie brought his fist down, his arm was grabbed. He turned to see Mikey standing there with a lollypop in his mouth and a bag in his hand. "Whoa their gramps. That's Kenny's older brother. He'd be sad if you beat him up now." Ronnie huffs out and drops Lexton on his butt. "Aren't you supposed to be at the party?" Mikey let's his arm go. "Meh, I wanted to get his room stuff seat up and surprise him with some dongo's. What's up with the crowd though?" "Caught these two just standing in the yard and the brat here pretty much implied that Oichi wasn't taking care of Kendric." Mikey laughed. "Considering he hasn't even been over here to spend any time with Kenny he shouldn't be speaking at all. What do you really want Lex. Stop trying to be your father for once and a while and try being a brother."
Lexton frowned and pushed his glasses up. Standing up, he brushed himself off. "…I just wanted to see his room…maybe give him something he doesn't have that you people can't give him. I know he is well taken care off, but everyone has limits. Oichi has two children with a third on the way. She lost her job and Grimmjow has his sad company that doesn't look like to be making a lot of money so…" Mikey started laughing. "What is so funny." "You are. Your brother doesn't need you to buy him shit. What he wants is know you care. His other siblings call and visit him. You don't. He's seen your face like what…maybe 5, 6 times? How about you step up and just be a brother to him." Lexton snitched his teeth. "How…" Ronnie sighs. "By coming to help us set up room. Let's go, we already wasted enough time."
Back at the park, the kids were just finishing eating cake and now were sitting around Kendric as he opened his gifts. Oichi, Jess, Orihime, Nel, and Tatsuki were at the table watching them. Ben and his sisters were helping Kendric with the gifts. "I'm so happy to see that cute smile." Oichi says. "You did a great job, after this we do the time capsule and plant the seed right?" Orihime asked. "Yup, what did you bring for the kids?" Tatsuki asked. "I brought Noah's first toy. A doctor's kit." "A doctor's kit?" Nel asked. "Yeah, you know the one for the teddy bear. Uryu thought it would be cute in case he grows up to be a doctor, but he played with it for about a month until I brought him a toy kendo stick." Orihime laughed. "Aw, looks like Noah might grow up to be like his mom." Tatsuki chuckled. "Whatever he goes for I'll support it. What about you Orihime?" "I put in Kazui's Mario costume from his birthday heehee." "How did you even get that away from him?" "Oh!" Oichi snapped her fingers. "Is that why you ask me to make you that large Mario plush doll?" Orihime giggles. "Yup and he sleeps with it every night." "Sneaky!" Nel says nudging Orihime. "I brought Grayson's old blue beetle toy. He won't miss it since Oichi spoils the hell out of him." Oichi smiles. "Not me. His dad. He is so cute though. Every time we go to the mall and he wants something Grimmjow just buys it." "What? I didn't know that." Nel says.
Oichi chuckle. "Sadly, there is a lot you don't know Nel. Grimmjow doesn't tell you about his day-to-day actions with Grayson. He doesn't tell me all of it either. I respect the little bond that they have now. They have father and son play dates sometimes. I'll have to show you the few pictures I got." Nel pouts slightly then sighs. "I guess I can't be too mad at that. As long as he is spending time with Grayson that is all I can ask for. So what about you and Jess?"
Jess smiled. "We figured that the girls would be a little too young to remember everything that happened here, so we thought about taking a picture of all the kids beside the planting spot." Jess help up a Polaroid camera. "We can take a picture of the kids then take one of ourselves. Nel can take them with both groups since little Sophie will basically be here next month." Nel giggles. "Awesome! That way she won't feel left out when the kids get older." "When they get finished opening the gifts, we can plant the seed and take the picture after we put the things in the capsule." Oichi says turning to the kids.
Kendric was hugging a large monkey plushie that she made. "So cute…I wanna snuggle him up all day…It's a shame his mother treated him the way he did." "What is going to happen to that woman anyways and what about Kendric? Are they going to leave him with you?" Nel asked. Oichi sighs. "I don't know…he is only in my care until Tory's trial is over. They might take him or give him custody to someone else…" "What about Ben and the others?" "In the opening sessions it was kinda touched on that Ben could not look after Kendric. He…" She lowered her voice. "He doesn't have a source of income; Lexton is the only one in the family that actually has money and has been putting them up in a hotel…Amanda and Shelia are still in school and Lexton…well…he may have money, but he doesn't know the first thing about taking care of child. None of them do." The girls sighs.
"Hopefully, the courts will favor me, and I can full custody of Kendric. In fact…" She turned to the kids. "I would love to adopt him. Maybe the girls to…I hate the fact that they are living in a hotel day after day. Both the girls are taking online courses. They had to leave their friends behind to be in the middle of this." "When is Tory's trial?" Orihime asked. "It starts at the end of March. The children will have to be there to give their testimony, but they don't have to be in the room with Tory. I'll be there of course and so will Mikey since he did date her for a moment. As long as we don't discuss how he got Tory to hand over Kendric and he should be okay…maybe…." "Will you be okay?" Nel asked. "I'll be fine. That woman can only put fear in the heart of her children. Up against me she she's like a roach to be honest. Annoying and hard to kill off." The girls chuckled at her.
When gifts were open, Florina and Hisagi started to dig up the spot where the tree will be planted. Renji put down a stainless-steel time capsule. "Alright, this little baddie is a center fave. It was developed by the 12th division. So, who is going up first?" Ichika walked up with a princess crown and a piece of paper. "Me daddy! I first!" Renji chuckled. "Of course, princess. What do you have?" He took her crown and piece of paper. "What's this?" "Mommy help!" Renji chuckled and opened it up. He then frowned. "Wha…Rukia!"
Rukia head pops up from eating some potato salad. "What is it?" She says sipping on some water. "What is this!?" She got up and walked over to him. She snatched the paper out of his hand and looked at it. "What's wrong with it?" Renji rubs his face. "She can't put that in there!" Rukia frowned. "Oh yeah? Do you want to see what everyone else thinks about that!?" "N-No…" Rukia flips the paper around to everyone. The paper she had in her hands had a red heart on it and in black it had Ichika and Grayson's name written on it sloppily. The women cued at it. Then glared at Renji.
Nel stood up. "Explain to me why she can't put that in there Renji." Grimmjow walked up with Nnoitra. "Yeah jackass, explain it clearly and loudly for everyone to hear." He cracked his knuckles. All eyes were on Renji until he sighs. He looks down at Ichika who had a confused look on her face. "T-There is nothing wrong with it. Just a little caught off guard…" Emma giggled. "Mr. Renji is in trouble." Bella smiled and then looked down. She looked at Kendric and the picture that Rukia was holding.
Renji sighs as he placed the note inside and the crown. "Next…" Grayson ran over to Nel. "Mama!" Nel chuckled and handed him his toy. He smiled and ran over to the capsule. Bella walked over to Oichi. "Auntie? Can I have some paper?" Oichi blinks and looks around. "I think we have some around here?" Izzy walked over with some paper and crayons. "I figure she would get this idea. It was cute." Emma giggled and helped herself up to the table. The girls watched her draw a heart and quickly knew what she was getting out. "Emma why don't you make the heart your favorite color and Kenny's?" Emma blushed. "I um…I like yellow…" Jess chuckled and helped her with the drawing.
While she was doing that the kids were adding in their toys in the time capsule. Grimmjow sighs as he started working on the capsule spot. He then spotted Kensei walking up. His anger started to rise. Throwing down the shovel. "What the hell!" Everyone looked up to see him marching towards Kensei. "Oh no…" Oichi says getting up. Jess went to get up but Oichi stopped her. "Keep helping Bella with her picture. I got it covered." She got up and followed Grimmjow.
"Yo! This is a private party. You aren't invited." Grimmjow says. Kensei frowned. "Back off. I'm here to talk to Oichi not you criminal." "You want to say that a little close to my face you nut job." "Grimmjow stop!" Oichi called out. Grimmjow stopped and crossed his arms. Oichi pants a bit out of breath, reaching him. "You need to be sitting down! Didn't I tell you to stay off your feet!?" Grimmjow says looking at her. "Well, if you weren't coming up here with hostile intentions I would still be sitting down. Kensei…what can I do for you?" Kensei looked at her belly. "I wanted to speak to you about Kendric. We can sit down so you won't be on your feet. Hate to see you trip and fall." He says with a smirk. Oichi blushed and pouted. "Can we not bring that up please! I said I was sorry." Kensei chuckled and then glanced at Grimmjow who was wearing an angry scowl. "Can we sit and talk? Just us?" Kensei asked. "Hell no." Grimmjow huffs out. Oichi smiles. "It seems we are the package deal." Kensei narrowed his eyes at Grimmjow. "Very well." Oichi took Grimmjow's hand and led them to the Gazebo.
"Is anyone else feeling the tension of a love rival?" Nel asked tapping her finger on the table. Jess breathes out softly. "I'm glad I'm not the only one." Orihime rubs her cheek. "Do you think Oichi knows?" Tatsuki crossed her arms. "I doubt it. This is Oichi was talking about. She's clueless when it comes to men chasing after her." They all sighed. Bella had a bright smile on her face as she colored in her name. "Done!" Jess smiled and looked up. "Kenny! Come over here please." Kendric walked over dragging a toy car on a string behind him. Jess picked him up and sat him beside Emma. "Would you like to draw your name beside Emma's? I have your favorite color." She held up a green crayon." "Ok…" Kendric says grabbing the crayon. Bella's face lit up with excitement while she watched Kendric. Nel snapped a picture of it.
At the gazebo, Oichi leans back and rubs her stomach. Grimmjow sat beside her and Kensei sat on the other side. He placed a folder on the table. "What do you need to talk about?" Oichi asked. "I've been doing some digging into Tory's background and through the files you had given us, I found a will that was hiding in the folds." "A will? You mean…" Grimmjow crossed his arms. "It sounds like something that old bag would do. What better way to hide it from that woman?"
Kensei opened the folder. "I have the will here and I wanted to tell you about it. It says in the wake of his death he leaves something for each of his children. For his oldest Benjamin, he would receive the deeds to the mansion and the land to do whatever he pleases to do with it. For the second oldest Lexton, he leaves him some businesses that he had in his name that were ran by different associates. We investigated those business and it looks like they are in the middle of being run into the ground since they have not received orders on what to do. They are legit and have no illegal background and would prefer to keep it that way. For the oldest daughter, Amanda, she received a certain fund of money and the vacation home he kept. For his next daughter Shelia, she received all his jewels, trinkets, artifacts, and anything else that isn't bolted down to the house. As for Kendric, he will receive the rest of the money that he has in a private account, but he cannot access until he is 18 years of age."
Oichi hums out. "Does Tory get anything?" "No, but if something should have to the children then she would be the next to get it." Oichi frowns. "So, if she kept Kenny until he was 18 then she would gain access to his money. It must be the reason why she was trying to keep him at one point." "Tory is broke so the thought of getting all the man's money was much to of a greedy chance to pass up." Grimmjow says. Oichi runs her fingers through her hair. "Okay, so what do we do with this will?" "I had a copy of it sent to Unohana so that she can put it together with the trail. I also had a lawyer looked there every sentence and make sure there was no foul play. If you want, we can have all his children sit down and discuss this will." Oichi nods. "I would like that. Could he come over to my place once the party is done?" "Of course." Kensei says closing the file and passing it to her. "Why are you giving it to me." "So that you will have a copy for yourself. I have one, Unohana has one, and of course the center has one. You never know if something may happen."
Oichi took the file. "Thank you Kensei." He nods. "There is something else as well." "What is it?" "About your job." Oichi frowned. "I already said I didn't want to do that." "I know but you are thinking about it right?" Oichi looked down. "Maybe…" "Good. That is all I ask but I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about your old job. Overseeing the fashion part of the division. I wanted to let you know that you were not really fired." Oichi blinks. "What!?" "Yeah, I never turned in your termination papers and the old man never said anything about not receiving them…so I gave you 90 days to think about what you wanted to do." "Wha…Why wasn't I told about this before?" "You were upset. You fell down the stairs. You had a lot going on with this new child of yours, this birthday, and I'm sure you are worried about the trail at the end of the month…I didn't want to feel pressured to come back to work." Oichi squeezed her hands together. "You are welcomed to come back at your own time. The division isn't the same without you from what I heard and to be honest I don't have a clue on what to do with all of these requests from repairs on clothes. Especially from the 6th division."
Oichi started to laugh. "Byakuya just found out that he was going to be an uncle again so he must be requesting me to make clothes. He is very picky." Kensei shook his head. "I know. I tried to tell him that I can't do your job, so he told me to just handle it and get it done. So, while I say take your time and come back, I really hope you decided between now and tomorrow." Oichi laughed some more. It made him smile. "Is that all." Grimmjow says making Kensei dropped his smile. "Yeah…" "Then you can stop smiling at my woman and leave." "You really know how to work on someone's nerves." "I don't need other men trying to get her attention. She's already clueless when it comes to that as it is." Oichi pouted. "Hey…" Kensei sighs. "Whatever. I'll take my leave." He got up before Oichi grabbed his arm. "Kensei…thank you. I don't think you understand how much weight you just lifted off my shoulders. I would love to come back to work." Kensei nods. "Then I will see you back in your office bright and early." His arm slip through her fingers and his hand brushed against hers. In that small instant Kensei felt a small spark. He looked at his hand. "Are you okay?" Okay asked. "Y-Yeah…" Kensei says. "See you at work." He says leaving quickly.
Oichi hums out. "Was it something I said?" "Don't know, don't care. So long as he is gone." Grimmjow says. Oichi rolled her eyes and slipped out the gazebo. She walked up to the capsule.
"Has everyone filled the time capsule?" She asked. Kendric and Bella walk up. "Auntie? Picture." Oichi took it and smiled. It was a picture of a heart mix with yellow and green. Bella's name was colored in yellow and Kendric's was colored in green. There were also smaller hearts around their names. "Isn't this the cutest! I can't wait for you two to see this when you are older HeeHee." When everything was put in the capsule, the kids crowded around Nnoitra and they watched him put in the hole but didn't bury it just yet. Then it was time for the tree.
Florina held up the seed for them and let each of them touch it. "Oooo! It's tiny!" Bella says looking at it. Emma nods. "Yeah! That's a tree?" Florina nods. "Yes, in a couple of years, it will become a big tree for you all to come hang around at." The girls smiled and giggled. Florina planted the seat a few feet behind where the capsule was. "And done! Okay now it's time for pictures!" The kids were lined up between the tree and capsule. Starting from the left it was Emma, Bella, Kendric, Grayson, Ichika, Kazui, Noah, Eli, the twins sitting down and Nova who was placed in her car seat holding a rattle and Nel who giggled. "Soon you all will have another friend to play with." "My sissy!?" Grayson says. Jess held the camera up. "Alright everyone. Smile for me!" The kids smiled. Oichi jiggled the twins stuff animals, which got their attention to smile at the camera. Jess snapped a picture, and it came out the end. She took it out and handed it to Oichi. "Now the adults with the kids!" Izzy got up. "I'll take the photo!" She walked over and took the camera. "Everyone line up!" She called out.
Ikkaku and Mizuho stood on the side on the left. Ikkaku held Emma in his arms. Since Chad was one of the tallest. He stood in the back with Bella and Eli on his shoulders. Renji and Rukia stood beside Ikkaku and Mizuho. Rukia was holding Ichika with Renji's arm around her shoulder. Nnoitra sat a chair down and in the middle for Nel and stood behind her next to Chad. Grayson sat down on the ground a bit in front of Nel. Grimmjow held Naomi while Oichi held Alisha they stood beside Nel and Grayson. Kendric sat beside Grayson, cross legged. Ben and the others did not want to be included. Jess held Nova and Ulquiorra stood beside her with his hand in his pockets. Beside them was Ichigo and Orihime. Ichigo was holding Kazui. At the end was Tatsuki and Uryu with Noah being held by Tatsuki. "Just look at you all. This is going to be a wonderful photo!" Izzy says. She took two pictures and smiled. "I can't wait until you all have more babies! It's going to be exciting to see what happens when your children get older."
When the pictures were out, Izzy wrote on the back the time, date, and place and she also made a special frame to help preserve the photo throughout the years. "My, you are learning new tricks every day in class." Oichi says watching her. Izzy chuckled. "If I'm going to be a world class photographer, I have to learn something new at least every day." She walked over to the capsule and put it in there and Nnoitra started to bury it. The party then went on with the kids playing more games.
Around 5pm, the party slowly started coming to an end. Jess was holding Nova who had fallen asleep. Some how Naomi had found her way into Ulquiorra's arms and was also sleeping. Oichi had snapped plenty of pictures of it. Faye had Alisha on her shoulders as she slept, and the toddlers looked like they were just about out of steam to. Orihime and the others were already packing up everything. Grimmjow and Ben were putting Kendric's toy's in the car. Kendric kicked his feet while he sat beside Oichi. "Did you have fun today?" "Mhm." "What was your favorite part?" Kendric rubs the back of his hands. "When sissy's hugged me…yummy food…lots of toys…the picture." "Picture?" Oichi asked. "With Bella. I like it." Oichi rubbed his head. "I told you that you were going to have fun on your birthday." He smiled and moved close to her. "I had fun…" Grimmjow walked up to them. "Everything is packed. Time to head home. You got one more gift waiting for you." "For me?" Grimmjow nods and picked him up.
He held out his hand and she took it, getting herself up. "Mama. We are leaving now." "Okay sweetie! I'll finish up here." Thanks mama!" Faye got up. "I wonder if Ron finished." Jess got up. "Mind if we tag along. Otherwise, your daughter will be coming home with us. Look how she's clinging to Ulquiorra." Oichi chuckled. "That's fine. He can put her to bed." Ben walked over. "Oichi? Thank you for today." "It's no issue at all. Amanda and Shelia can expect the same thing as well. You all are part of the family now." Ben smiled. "Also, do you think you all can come with me? There is something I want to talk to you all about." Ben put his hands in his pocket. "Sure thing. I'll gather up Amanda and Shelia and meet you over there." Oichi nods. "See you soon."
They made it back to the house in a matter of moments. Oichi and Jess went inside with the kids while Grimmjow and Ulquiorra started to unpack the car. When they enter the living room, Damien ran up and hop on Kendric licking his face. He giggled. "Doggy!" "Damien, off Kenny now!" Oichi command. Damien barked and ran off. Kendric giggled rubbing his face he then saw Mikey walking down the stairs. "Mike!" He ran to Mikey. Mikey chuckled and caught him in his arms, picking him up. "Happy birthday Ken. We got a surprise for you." "For me!?" Kendric asked. "Yup! We good sis?" He asked Oichi. "Yup, go ahead."
Mikey took Kendric upstairs and to his room. "Ready for your surprise?" Kendric nods. Mikey opens the door, and his eyes widen. His new room had green paint with a green rug. There was a large car monkey toddler bed in the middle of the room right next to the window. There were trees that was painted in the corner and on the ceiling that gave it a jungle like vibe. A book shelve on the wall, a toy box, a green and white dresser, a monkey green bean bag chair, and various toys. "Oh..wow!" Kendric yells, surprisingly.
Even more to his shock he saw Lexton brushing off the dresser. He was covered in dry paint. "You…" Kendric says backing away and cling to Mikey's leg. Mikey looked at Lexton who fixed his glasses. "Hi Kendric…happy birthday little brother. I hope you like your room." Kendric looks at him. "You help?" "I did. If you don't like it, I can change it for you." Kendric looks down. "I like…c-can I…um…" "What is it? Ask me for anything and I will provide it to you." Kendric hesitated. "Go on Ken. What do you want from your big brother?" "Y-You stay?" Kendric asked softly. Lexton frowns and looks away. "You want me to stay with you here?" Kendric nods. "…Maybe some other time. I have a lot of work to do." Kendric looks down sadly. "Ok…" Mikey frowned and shot a glare at Lexton, but he ignored it. He walks up them and bends down to Kendric. He reaches out and rubs his head. "Happy Birthday." He then walked out the room. Kendric rubbed his head.
Mikey sighs. "Such a prick…one day he will stay with you Ken. For now, how about we have some fun in your room. Want to show me your cool toys you got?" Kendric smiles and nods. "Okay!"
Lexton walked down the stairs and saw Oichi walking in. "Oh…Lexton. You're here to." Lexton frowned. "Is that a problem?" "No, I just didn't think you would show up here but now that you are I need to see you in the kitchen." "I'm rather busy to…" Jess walked up and narrowed her eyes. "She wasn't asking…" Lexton sighs. "Fine but make this quick please." He walked into the kitchen. Jess rolled her eyes. "Please make sure Kendric don't turn out to be like him." Oichi chuckled as she walked into the kitchen.
Lexton was tapping his finger. "Lex. I have something important I want to talk to you about. I wanted to wait for the others, but you seem to be in a rush, trying to get away from Kendric." "Wha…I'm not." "Sure, you aren't. My brother did the same when we found out about my little sister, but that story isn't worth telling right now. Maybe another day." She put a file down. "Did you know that your father kept a will?" Lexton gave her a confused look. "No, I figured he would, but I had concluded the fact that he was killed long before it was done and since Tory was living as she was, I doubt she would have it."
"Yes, that is right. Tory was looking for it but couldn't find it she did, however, knew that Kendric had a trust fund that couldn't be access until he was 18." Oichi says sitting down. "Hmm…that would make since. There was an open account under father's name, but I couldn't get into it. It baffled me but even my lawyers said I had no power to open it. I left it at that. What else did he leave? Did he leave anything to that woman?" "He left you and your siblings things and no he didn't leave Tory with anything. Unless one of you passed away." Lexton bit his lip. "She would have gotten rid of Kendric as soon as he turned 18…that witch…"
They heard the door open and saw Grimmjow and Ulquiorra walking in with gifts from the party. Faye had both the twins and were now taking them upstairs. Not long after that Ben walked in with Amanda and Shelia. "Ah, look at you. So, you were here all day?" Ben asked. Lexton pushed his glasses up. "Never mind that. Father left a will." "He did? Ha. Nice."
Oichi pushed Lexton the copy she had. "You can have this. Have your lawyers read over it to make sure everything is set in there. Kensei and the center already did that but I'd rather you double check. You knew your father better then anyone so you may catch something they couldn't." Lexton opened the file and looked at the paper. His siblings crowded around him. Lexton narrowed his eyes and closed it. "Hey! I wasn't done reading!" Amanda said. "There is nothing for you to see yet. Already I've seen something that was missed. I will take this back to the hotel and get our lawyers to fully re-read this." He stands up and looked at Oichi. "Thank you for giving this to us and…thank you for looking after Kendric. I trust that he will be safe in your care and I hope that can remain that way." He pushed past Ben and Amanda and left out the door. Oichi chuckled. "You're welcome. You three should go with him. Find out what you inherited." They nodded and ran after him. Oichi leans on the counter. "I wonder if daddy would leave a will in case, he died…ha…I don't think he'd even know what to leave to us."
Later that night, A man with long blonde flowing hair and golden yellow eyes was standing in the park next to the gazebo. "Oh, how wonderful. I would have love to be here at the party. So many things to do. So many subjects to capture. Maybe it's time to finally show my face."
"I'd rather you didn't do that." The man spins around and chuckled. "Oh my…is that really you." The moonlight shines through the area, showing a familiar face that had long been gone. He was wearing a white shirt with a black jacket over it and blue jeans. His brown hair was tied in a small ponytail. His blue gray eyes looked blankly at the man. "Did you not head my warning the first time?" He asked. The man with blonde hair chuckled. "Did I? I think when you packed up your bags and left, I consider every word you said after that dead. Like you should have stayed. So! Why have you decided to come back after all this time. Division leader one, Coyote Starrk."
Starrk sighs and rubs his head. "I was doing simply fine traveling until word got around about what you have been doing. I'm going to tell you again…stay away from her." The man smirked. "Oh, and why should I listen to you. Aizen has fallen. There is no real order between us anymore." Starrk walked up to him. "Why must I do what I told when there is a real opportunity to be taken from…" He was grabbed by the neck by Starrk. He squeezed tightly making the man gasps out. "Order or not. It doesn't change who is stronger than who. You can change you face as many times as you like. Change your identity, become a new person, but you will still carry that disgusting smell on you Szayel…"
Szayel narrowed his eyes. "I don't care about your activities, but she is off limits." He held him up to where he was standing on his tippy toes. "Leave her alone. Do I make myself clear? If you harm her just once, then I will personally make sure to end up and we both don't want that troublesome route. Right?" Szayel frowned. "Do you care so much about one girl that you risk threating me!? Why!? She is nothing but a lab rat! Do you realize how much breakthrough I could use if I just get her?!" "I don't care. Leave her be." He dropped Szayel on the ground. "If I were you, I would get out of here under that new face of yours. As we speak your hideouts are being discovered one by one. You have three separate forces coming your way and I don't think you can handle them all." Szayel bit his lip. "All for one girl…this is ridiculous…" "You picked the wrong girl. You have always had terrible luck. Just give up and find something better to do with your life."
Szayel got up. "Ha…like everyone else? Why would I settle for such a boring life!? All I need is that woman's blood. The first testing I realize that there is something unsettling about. I don't have the right tools to use but if I can just get my hands of next best thing, then I can upgrade it and make it more powerful, create something unstoppable, something the world has never seen! Then finally, finally! I can reach perfection! Hahaha!"
Starrk sighs. "Whatever…just don't make me ask twice. Give up that dream of yours and focus on what makes you, you…all that brain power and you could do something good. Don't waste it on these plans of yours. You will only be landed yourself in the grave." Starrk turned around and started to walk away. Szayel frowned at him and sighs. "Tisk…with him showing up this does risk my plan failing…I thought if I just gave up my bases then it would keep them focus enough on that. Even the fake bounties…a little more time…all I need is a little more time and then she will be all mine." He looked up at the moon. A psychotic gin appeared on his face. "I will become perfect. I shall become the perfect being! That's the only goal…The only thing I want in this life and if I have to use her body as a steppingstone so be it!"
At Oichi's house, she was looking outside with the window open. "The moon is pretty tonight…" Grimmjow's arms wrapped around her. "You, okay? You been standing here for a while now." "Just enjoying the moon light…it's been such a wonderful day." Grimmjow placed his chin on her head and rubbed her belly. "You should get some sleep since you're going back to work. Against my pleads." Oichi giggled. "I miss working you know." "Ugh…I liked it when you were home when I came home…" "Ah, do you want me to be the perfect little housewife now?" "Sometimes…maybe I can come home and you're wearing an apron with nothing under it, with a cold beer, a hot meal, and a clear schedule." Oichi laughed. "I'm four nearly five months pregnant and you want me to wear an apron with nothing under it?"
Grimmjow spins her around. "What!? Your pregnant body is a bonus turn on babe. I can't keep my hands off you. In fact, I think we should have some fun right now." Oichi giggles as he starts to nibble on her ear. "Your sex drive is amazing. Wanna take a bath?" Grimmjow's head pops up. "Hell yeah! Why would I ever say no to that! Get that soaking stuff that makes you smell at sweet." "Okay." Oichi says walking by. Grimmjow smacks her butt making her laugh. He turns to look at the window and just happen to glance down to see a figure standing there in the darkness. He blinks and rubs his eyes. He looks back down to see no one there. "Hmm…" He closes the window and locks it. "Hopefully, that was just my imagination…"
Early that next morning, Jetter's hotel room was being knocked on loudly. Frank sighs walking to the door with a cup of coffee in his hands. He looked through the peep hole and frowned. He opened the door to see Kisuke standing there. "Kisuke…it is early. Do you have business here?" "I do." "Your timing is impeccable…" They heard Jetter call out. Frank opened the door wider and moved to the side. Kisuke walked in to see Jetter standing up. He was wearing a dark purple suit. "Going somewhere?" "Yes, a meeting with your boss…or rather…former boss. We had a meeting set up." "Ah yes, Well I wont waste to much of your time. I'm here to make good on my promise." Jetter raised his eyebrow. "You found the man already?" "Nope." "Then your promise isn't fulfilled."
"Ah, but I have brought some unsettling information." "Such as…" Frank closed the door behind him. "Yesterday, one of my associates was tracking down the last know location of Szayel. She found a hidden room full of some terrible deeds. One that may need your immediate attention." Jetter narrow his eyes. "Spit it out." "Is seems like Szayel has been performing surgery on himself. He had different identities and passports hidden in that house. There was also a map and he had various places circled." Kisuke digs in his pocket and pulls out a passport and put it on the table. His face was serious. "Among the circle locations, Scotland was one of them." Jetter snatched up the passport and opened it. "You can't be serious! Does he truly think it would be that easy to get closer to us like this!" "Think what you want Jetter, but it looks like he is fully prepared. There was even a body down there, missing his face, a few of his organs, and pint of his blood. There isn't a limit this man will go. He has already chanced himself and he may be on board to Scotland as we speak. I don't think you have time to second guess this." Jetter bit his lip. "Frank, make preparations to leave at once." Frank bows and takes his phone out and rushes to the back room.
"Tisk…I can't believe this man will go this far to get my families blood…what is his goal!?" Jetter asked. Kisuke rubs his chin. "From what we got from other sources, Szayel has always obsessed over being the perfect being. I guess seeing what Jess could do, the inhuman strength and the quick healing, not to mention she is a noble…having that may give him the illusion that he has reach perfection." Jetter ran his fingers through his hair. "Unbelievable…"
"Yup. So…how was that?" Jetter sighs. "While you did not find him, you gave us information that we needed. Even if he isn't in Scotland, we cannot take that chance. You have made good on your promise and I will make good on mine at the meeting." Kisuke smiles. "Thank you. I wish you well on your travels and don't worry, we will keep Jess and her child safe on this end. Should anything go sideways we are already prepared to take extreme measures and send her home." Jetter nods. "I thank you for that. Now you can take your leave. I need to get ready for this meeting." "Of course." Kisuke says. He walked to the door and opened it. "Be careful out there Jetter. There is no clear proof that he is only after Jess." He takes his leave. Jetter sat down. "This is why I would rather she had stayed home then here."
At Oichi's, she was in the kitchen wearing an orange maternity sleeveless shirt and black dress pants with a black jacket and flats. Her hair was a bit curly and had an orange flower pin in her hair. She was on the phone with Unohana. "I see…" Oichi says. "So, the trial is going to change because of the new evidence?" "Yes, I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to talk to you sooner about this." "No, I understand…so what is going to happen with Kendric? Will I be able to keep him?" "The courts have given you guardianship over Kendric, so yes, you will still be keeping him." Oichi smiled. "That is a relief. I don't want him to go into another home…" "Would you like to gain custody of him?" Unohana asked. "Custody?"
Unohana chuckled. "Guardianship and Custody are two different things my dear. To put it simple and to avoid over explaining, Guardianship means you look after someone but you do not make any of the important decisions that would impact their life. When you have custody then you become that person's legal provider and you will be in charge on all legal decisions. I suggest filing custody for Kendric. "Filing for custody? I can do that?" "Yes, you can, if you stop by my office early we can go over the paperwork for it. Also, I have placed you in family court on the 31st along with Kendric's usual examination and checkup" Oichi's heart fluttered. "That would be wonderful. Thank you, Ms. Unohana. I also want to know would I be able to adopt the girls?"
"Yes but, we will have to visit your home more then a couple of times to make sure it is a fitting stage for them. Not that it isn't since he already living there but legally you must fill out more documents, the agency must make visits and walk you through what they are looking for in a safe environment and that also means for the girls to. Just in case they look deeper into your background. There jobs is to make sure the children in the household are safe and well taken care off. Once all that is done, and the paperwork is cleared then you will be able to adopt them." "I see…" "For now, I need to focus on Tory a little more and get things in order with Kendric. I will speak to you more when you stop by to sigh the papers." Oichi smiled. "Alright. Thank you again." She hangs up.
Oichi sighs right as Grimmjow walked in. "Everything okay?" "Yeah, the trial for Tory was pushed back due to new evidence." "What about Kendric." "He is staying with us. I have guardianship over him for now, but I'll be going to family court to get full custody hopefully …um if that's okay…" Grimmjow chuckled. "That's fine with me. He is fitting in with all the other kids, He mind as well call you, his mother." Oichi blushed. "I wouldn't go that far…I like auntie just the same…" "Sure you do. Anyways you are going to be late for work if you don't get going. I'll drop the kids off at day care since your grandparents stayed with Danni last night." Oichi nods and kissed his cheek. "Thanks honey. See you when I get home." She grabbed her purse and keys and left. Grimmjow sighs. "That woman…what am I going to do with her."
On a private plane, flying towards an unknown location, Tosen was sitting down with his arms crossed. In front of him was Aizen, sipping on some green tea. "You seem troubled Kaname. What is on your mind." "What are your plans now? We left everything and everyone behind…Surely our names are already blacklisted everywhere." Aizen chuckled. "Yes, that is what I planned for after all. This little game of cat and mouse was getting a little too boring for my taste. I didn't think Gin would betray me so soon though. I had figured it would be me and him having this conversation." Tosen frowned. "You saw no future for me?" "No and that is why I am grateful for your loyal service. However, your are no longer needed for this part of my own journey." "What are you…" A jolt of pain ran though his body. He tasted blood and felt it run down his chin. He slowly lifts his hands all the way up to his chest to see a sharp blade had pieced his chest. His fingers went to the handle where he felt Aizen's hand. "W-Why…" "I told you. I have no need for you. Your path ends here, and my new path begins. Thank you for your service Kaname. It's been swell." Tosen gripped Aizen's wrist. "You promised me that we would…"
Aizen removed the blade causing blood to splatter on the walls of the plane. Tosen gasps out holding his chest. Aizen snaps his fingers and two of his personal guards grabbed Tosen and dragged him to the door. "Goodbye Kaname." He says sipping on his tea. The door to the plane was opened and Tosen was thrown out. His body flipped and turned through the air. Tosen bit his lip feeling his death coming soon. 'It seems like this is my last moments.' In his mind he remembered his former collage. 'Hisagi…Sajin…you both thought that I would come back when no one else did…I…I am sorry for the pain and dishonor I have brought you. It would have been nice to speak to you once more…' He could smell the sea. 'Farewell…' Tosen says to himself as his body finally collided into the water.
In the plane, Aizen finished his tea. "Ha…and then there was one…" He chuckled and leaned on the arm rest, glancing at the window. "This round was a defeat, but it doesn't mean my plans stop. I will be back, and I will rule over all of them. Hahaha…"
The center was busy, busier than it usually was for some reason. Oichi was parking her car when she saw people rushing back and forth. 'I wonder what's going on.' She swiped her key and took the elevator upstairs.
In Yamamoto's office, Jetter and Lexton were sitting in front of an empty chair. Lexton tapped his finger. "How rude to keep us waiting." Jetter chuckled. "It's very much like him. He does that to make people faulter. Don't get intimidated." The door opened and Yamamoto walked in with Jushiro, Shunsui, and Unohana. Jetter's eyes went right to Unohana first and smiled. "Hello again Unohana." She smiles back. "Hello Lord Jetter. I am please to see you are doing well." "I'm glad you are doing well to. You still look like a beautiful rose as ever." She chuckled and took a seat. "You flatter me." "If you like I can continue to do so. Over dinner?" Jushiro chuckles. "You can answer that after the meeting."
"Indeed, I did not come for you to swoon all over my division leader." Yamamoto says sitting at his desk. Jetter shrugs and winks at Unohana who giggles slightly. "Now, you request this meeting and yet you walked in late. Is old age finally catching up to you?" Jetter asked. "I have other important matters to attend to. This meeting is more of a spur on the moment. It is something I can handle another day but, I'd rather do it now." Yamamoto responds. Lexton frowned but stayed silent. "Now, I am sure you are aware of what has been going on in Hueco Mundo." "I saw the press conference. You really think those people are going to fall for what your doing? Merging that place into the center?" "That is not the plan. What you heard in the press conference is true. The center has made mistakes and we do plan on helping with the reconstruction process. While we leave most of that to Grimmjow we would like your assistance on this matter." Jetter crosses his legs. "Oh? You are asking for my help?" "Yes, of course, in return we will listen to this request of yours."
Jetter hums out. He didn't expect them to willing ask for help. He also didn't count on the ball to be in his court. He smirked. "Alright, I would like to buy the land for Aizen's building." Jushiro blinks. "The entire land?" "Just what his building is on." "Alright." Yamamoto says. "Next." "After that is done and I have all this in writing and on a recording, I give the building to Lexton. He will be free to make whatever he wants so long as it is legal, and I get a quarter of the profits." "Done, next." Yamamoto says. Jetter raised his eyebrow. This was a little to easy. "Alright…there will be a benefactor who will be me. If any of you so much try any tricks I will be back here and it won't be a friendly chat."
"Understandable. Is that all?" Yamamoto asked. "Yes…" Jetter says. "Good…I was more prepared for you to ask for something untamable but this I can manage. Now, let us negotiate." Jetter nods. "Let's." "Your first request. You can buy Aizen's land and do whatever you want with it. However, any thing that is being demolished or refurnished must go through construction depo." Lexton frowned. "You mean Grimmjow's little company? They would never be able to clear out off the debris that you left there nor build a new building in a good time frame." "Grimmjow's company is not as small as you think." Shunsui says. "We are actually about to fund them to expand and gather more members. Not to mention the center does lend people out to them. How do you think the school is being built?" Jetter hums. "You think if the people see Grimmjow and the others working they would start coming to the terms of this new 'change' the center is going through?" "Correct. Do we have a deal on that request?" Jetter sighs. "Very well, Grimmjow's company can handle that, I'm sure."
"Good…for your next request…giving it to the boy. What company is this going to be?" They looked at Lexton. "A new age company. One I have been working on overseas. I have been developing new technology that will move us forward into the future." "Hmm…I see…then you will sigh documents with this company that would require you to not only share your creations but as well help develop the ones over here." "WHAT!? You expect me to help you with your outdated things and you want me share what I make!? What is keeping you from stealing my things? Taking my tech apart and redesigning them like you want!?" Jetter nods. "I agree. No deal. Lexton will keep his creations and decide who to share it with. If you see something you wish to buy off of him then that is a different story. Try again."
"Very well…since we cannot get him to sigh the documents, we run back to Jetter. Since you will be funding this little company, you will also help with a new orphanage and a better system for children. You would be working alongside Unohana." Jetter glances over to her and she smiled. "That is true. We have been trying to get a good handle on the lost children, but it has been hard, and we are short staffed. I would gladly appreciate your help on this matter." Jetter smiles. "Of course, my dear. If I get to work with you, I will do whatever you ask. So long as it is you who is asking me." Unohana nods. "Then with that said would you also help in placing a fund within the new school?" Jetter frowns. "Pardon?" Jushiro nods. "We would like you to place a separate side fund for people, children and adults alike, who would be unable to normally join the school. We would use that to help them with bedding, supplies, and anything else they need for school wise." Jetter taps his chin. "I don't mind helping but I think that would upset little Oichi. The school was her idea, right? If she learns that I am doing this she would not be happy and if she isn't happy my darling niece wouldn't be happy."
"When has that stop you before?" Yamamoto asked. Jetter narrowed his eyes. "What was that?" "Are you going deaf young one? I said…when has that stop you before? You placed your own goals in front of your niece when you took her away from here did you not?" Jetter bit his lip. "Do not push me Yamamoto. I did what I did for her." "Yes, and you kept her locked up against her will, trying to groom her into something she didn't want to be." Yamamoto says. Jetter felt anger rise out of him. "Well, it was better then having to send her away to some island because I was scared of my enemies." Yamamoto narrowed his eyes slightly. "That's right…I know about you past. How you and Oichi's family are connected. When I connected the dots, I couldn't blame Dante on why he hates you so much. You abandon your lover when things got tough and she lost her life because of it."
Yamamoto's eyes opened fully a great sense of bloodlust rose out of him. He stood from his seat glaring at Jetter. Jetter chuckled but he started to feel uneasy. This bloodlust was different from when he encountered Dante. Dante's was wilder and more untamable but the man standing in front of him was different. His power was calm yet roaring like a fire breathing demon bent of burning everything in it's path. Lexton gripped his seat, unable to tear his eyes away from Yamamoto. Fear ran through his body, but he didn't tremble or shake. He sat firm while sweat rolled down his forehead and cheek.
"Do not speak of something you do not know." Yamamoto says with a calm voice. "Just because you heard something from your little spy doesn't mean that what she learn was the truth." Jetter frowned. "How did you…" "Silence." Yamamoto says cutting him off. Jetter held back a growl. "You may be a King in your land but here you hold no authority here. You may have influence, but you have nothing more. The four royal families may acknowledge your nobility but that is all they do. Speak one more about Jenny and you will not like the results. Are we clear?" Jetter nods.
Yamamoto calms down and sits back in his chair. There was silence for a moment. Lexton took a deep breath and exhaled. 'Is this what father had to deal with? This is intense.' Jetter cleared his throat. "Normally I would take what you said as an act of war, but I will take it as a warning. I do apologize. I did go to far in that. You are right that my information may be off but yours is off about my niece as well. It is not like I wanted to take her away. I wanted her to better herself and show her she had other paths she could take. Sure, it did take me awhile to finally see she did not want to rule but I accepted that, and she is happy here. I never want to mess with her happiness. Dawn would haunt me from the grave if I did. With that said I agree to your terms. I will help fund the orphanage and help with the school provided Oichi does not know about it."
Yamamoto nods. "Anything else?" "We will keep in constant contact. I don't want to speak to the boy until I see that he can bring something to the table. He will report to you and you will speak to me and update me how everything is going. Should we find anything illegal then our terms are broken and anything he made, created, and made money from comes to the center." "Deal." Jetter says before Lexton could reply. "Is that all?" Jetter asked. "Yes, you can give Unohana your contact information and everything we do that includes the orphanage and school will run through her."
Jetter turned to her. "Looks like I finally can get your number?" Unohana smiles with a nod. "Is this meeting over?" Jetter asked. Yamamoto nods. He turns back to Unohana. "Then how about us grab some dinner and talk about…these plans of yours and maybe catch up on some old times?" She smiles. "We can talk in my office." She gets up and Jetter rises as well. Without another word he follows her with Lexton right behind her. Once the door was shut Jushiro chuckled. "It was a good idea to bring Unohana in here. His focus shifted to her. I see he is still in love with her after all these years." Yamamoto sighs. "This should be a start…we will still have to keep a watchful eye on them."
In her office, Oichi was setting everything back up. She was back in her same office the day she started working there. There was a knock on her door and it opened. She turned to see Kensei walk in with a box. "Good morning." "Morning Kensei…um…sir…" "You don't have to call me sir. Kensei is fine." He walked up and placed the box on his desk. "Theses should be the last of your things. Your planner and sketch books." "Oh! I was just looking for those. I just got an order from the sixth division for some baby clothes." Kensei rolled his eyes. "I see he got an early start." He looked at her belly and scratched his head. "Listen…I'd like to apologize about my actions. I don't want you or anyone to think I am disrespectful towards the opposite sex. I treat my people fairly and reward their hard work. With that being said…I want to train you more in this division. Would you be willing to become my assistant?" Oichi smiles. "Really? I thought Hisagi would take over that role?" "He has his duty as my chief. Problems only come to me if it is an emergency or Hisagi can't cut it. I normally focus on my own job which is making sure the newsfeed to blow up over something stupid. So…what do you say?"
Oichi hums out and smiles brightly. "Okay! I'd love to be your assistant! Thank you for the opportunity!" She says smiling brightly. Kensei felt his heart throb and his face started to heat up slightly. 'She's so damn cute….' He rubbed his head. "G-Great, we can start today if you want. Order some lunch and go over all the new duties you will be adding to your schedule. Do you fancy anything?" "Can we get sushi!?" "Can you eat sushi?" "Yea, I just have to be a little careful." "Alright, I'll order us some and you can meet me in my office? During lunch hours." Oichi nods. "Thank you again! I won't let you down." Kensei chuckled. "I know."
Towards the sea front on the port, there was a small police force with Toshiro and Danni. She had her arms cross as they waited. She had gotten word from Frank that Luppi had been caught and that he was being brought by a man that Jetter had hired. She tapped her foot impatiently. "This had better not be a joke…" Toshiro looked at his watch. "We will wait for 30 more minutes then we are leaving. We can't waste time on…" Just then a black car drove up. It turned off the street and drove through the gates and got on the port. It stopped right in front of them and turned off. They waited for a second until the door opened and Ginjo got out. He smirked. "Well hello, I was supposed to be meeting a high snoopy man name Jetter?" Danni walked up. "Do you have Luppi or not." She asked. Ginjo shrugs. "This isn't how you conduct a business sweat heart."
Danni walked up to the car, held her fist up, and smashed the hood in, shocking not only him but the police force. Toshiro sighs placing a hand over his face. Ginjo backed up and chuckled nervously. "You must be Danni…Jetter did say you would be here if he wasn't…" "Sure he did. Where is Luppi." Ginjo sighs and walks to the back. He opened the back door and pulled Luppi out. His mouth was covered and he looked like he hasn't bathe in a few days. Toshiro motion for two men to grab him. "Make sure he is cuff good. We will have him spilling his guts once he gets to the cell." Ginjo chuckled. "Sorry boys but that would be hard to do." Toshiro raised his eyebrow. "Excuse me?" "He was talking to much for me so I had to settle that right quick." Danni narrowed her eyes. "You cut his tongue out…an effective tactic when you don't want someone to talk about something they shouldn't…did you break his thumbs to so he cant write."
Ginjo smirked. "I did but don't worry, I got his confession on tape and written down. In his own handwriting." Danni walked up to him and grabbed Luppi. She tossed him on the ground near Toshiro. Getting closer to Ginjo, she took her fist and punched him in the jaw so hard that his head connected to top of the car. He got painfully dizzy and fell down holding his jaw. Danni with a glare in her eye grabbed him by his collar. "You piece of shit. You tell that man to stay out of this. His tactis can cause Luppi to walk free. I told him this crap doesn't work in the day in age. If Luppi gets off on charges that is brought up agsint him, so help me, I will track you down, hunt you like the animal you are, carve your skin off and place your head on a platter. You get me boy!?" Ginjo could only nod. Danni dropped him. "Good…whatever deal you have with him, keep my daughter out of it."
She spins on her heels and walks over to Toshiro who had men placing Luppi into the car. Ginjo rubbed his jaw and chuckled. "Wow…he was right about her…I didn't think she would actually hit me though…damn that hurt…"
The days went by quickly, it was now March 31st. Jetter had left and went back home but not before leaving gifts to both Jess and Oichi. He had brought a vacation home out in Hawaii for them in case they needed a break from the city. Lexton also went off on his own. With everything taking place in the center, the area around Aizen's building had been brought and he wanted construction started immediately. The notice box that Grimmjow had install had quickly filled with different request. The ones that were request the most was strangely a tea shop.
It was 9:00am in the morning. Oichi was getting Kendric ready for family court. He was eating some cut up fruit. She was brushing out his hair when Grimmjow walked down with a yawn. "Morning babe." Oichi smiles. "Morning honey. I see you slept good?" Grimmjow smirked. "We you did give me alot attention last night." Oichi chuckled as Kendric looked up at her. "Uncle sick?" He asked worried. "No sweetie. He just needed some recharging." Oichi says with a smile. Kendric looked confused at her. "Mhmm…." He went back to eating. Grimmjow walked over and kissed her cheek. "Recharging huh? I'd like to request some more of that tonight." He grabbed her butt and squeezed it making her giggle. "Not in front of Kenny." She says play smacking his chest. "Are the girls ready?" "No, but I'll get them up. I want you to focus on one thing at a time here." Oichi nods. "Yeah, your right. Thank you honey. Are you going in today?"
He groans out. "I don't have much of a choice. That brat keeps blowing up my work phone asking a bunch of stupid questions. I told his ass that I have a full plate and I haven't made time or the effort really to even go to that site and figure out everything. He wines and tells me that he and center has already drawn up plans and figured the money and blah blah blah. I hung up on him and blocked the number." Oichi chuckled. "You have a lot on your plate." "Yeah, but I'm not to hung up about it. Luckily, your annoying friend should be happy." "Happy? You mean Jess, right? Happy about what?" "I finished up her shop today, Ulquiorra is supposed to be taking her there after she gets off. I can't wait to see her face." Grimmjow says with a chuckle. Oichi shakes her head. "I don't get you two…you both throw insults at each other, fight, then after she possibly smacks you, you both have a conversation like normal people…do I have to smack you to get that!?" Grimmjow laughs and wrapped his arms around her. "You can smack me as much as you want so long as you do it with no clothes on." Kendric gasps and looks up. "Would hurt…!"
Oichi frowned. "Oh honey." She pushed Grimmjow away and picked him up. "Don't worry, when you are older, you will understand some of the things your uncle stupidly says." Grimmjow pouts slightly and then sighs. "Sorry squirt. I wouldn't hurt your auntie. Never." "Promise?" Kendric asked. "Promise." Grimmjow says rubbing his head. Kendric smiles and hugs Oichi who awes at him. She cuddled him while giggling.
Grimmjow stretches and went to make him a cup of coffee when the doorbell ring. He sighs. "Were you expecting someone?" "No." Oichi says while putting Kendric down. Grimmjow walks to the front door and looks out the peep hole. His eyes widen at who he saw. 'Shit, shit, shit! This can't be happening…' The doorbell rings again. "Grim answer the door!" Oichi yells from the kitchen. Snitching his teeth, he backed away and opened it to see Starrk standing there. "Yo…it's been a while." "Has it…what are you doing here?" "I came here to get a nap in. Mind moving?" He walks in past Grimmjow and heads to the kitchen where Grimmjow heard Oichi gasps. "Starrk!?" "Fuck…" Grimmjow growls out as he slammed the door closed.
