Chapter 24
Oichi sighs as she sat in the courtroom. She was beside Isane, who was her lawyer for the family court. Kendric was sitting outside the room with a security officer. On the other side was Tory. She was in an orange prison jumpsuit and in cuffs. She was glaring at Oichi. The judge was reading through the files that had been given to him. They had been going at it for a little over an hour, longer than it was supposed to be. Tory was not making it easy. She called Oichi all types of names she could think about and only proved further why she was unfit to raise Kendric. It did not help that the notion to put Kendric in Oichi's custody fully was in great effect.
Tory bit her lip. "How could you take my child away from me! He is the only child I have left from my husband!?" Oichi frowned. Tory was really making her sick, but she was trying to keep calm. She didn't want to lose her temper in front of the judge. For Kendric's sake, she would endure it. "Ms. Louisenbairn, settle down. Do you really think you are in any position to take care of your son? You have already abusive him and with the other evidence that is holding over your head, I would be a fool to allow you to have any custody over any of your remaining children. So, with that said, Oichi Yamamoto will not only gain custody of Kendric Louisenbairn but your two daughters as well. Amanda and Shelia Louisenbairn.
Oichi's eyes widen in shock. She was for sure she was only supposed to be getting Kendric. Tory stood up angry. "WHAT!? No! Those are my little girls! I AM THEIR MOTHER! Not this bitch! My children belong to me! There are mine! THEY OWE ME FOR EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE FOR THEM!" She finally screams out in rage. Oichi could no longer take it. She stood up. "Would you shut up!" She snapped. Tory gasp. "How can you sit there and say such things like that! Why do you think your children owe you anything after all the torment you put them through! They deserve a mother who will love and cherish them! All you have done is use them to further your own greed! Kenny, Amanda, and Shelia deserve a better life than what you have given them, and I am willing to do everything in my power to make sure they do not have to suffer at your hands ever again."
Tory started to see red. "You bitch! I'll kill you!" She jumped over the table and ran towards Oichi who gasps. Isane stood in front of her to protect her right as the guards grabbed Tory. "Guards! Get her out of here now! To think anyone would dare place children in your care. You have no shame! I will make sure you will no longer bring harm to those children. Get her out of here now!" The judge yelled. The guards struggled to drag Tory away. "How dare you! I will kill you girl! Taking my children away from me! You will pay! I swear it!" She yelled as she was being throughout the room.
Oichi sighs out holding her belly. "You okay Oichi?" "Y-Yes…a little shocked but okay." Isane smiles. "Come on, let's get you out of here." Oichi looked at the judge while he was collecting his things. "Sir? Excuse me?" "Yes, what is it?" "I was under the impression that I was only getting Kendric. I never filed for getting custody of the girls." "You did, when you did the paperwork for the boy you also sighed for her daughters. It was in the paperwork. Did you not read it?" The judge asked raising his eyebrow. Isane smiles. "She did your honor. Please go easy on her, with her pregnant state a lot is running through her mind right now. You know how that goes." The judge suddenly laughed. "Yes, I know all too well. My wife is caring on with our fourth child. I can't tell you how many times she has forgotten even the simplest of stuff. Have a good day ladies." He walked to the back. Oichi was so confused. She knew for a fact that she read that document…
"Don't hang on it too much." Isane says. Oichi frowned. She knew that phrase way too much. "Alright…" They walked out of the room and saw Kendric sitting there eating a banana. "Auntie!" He slides down the chair and runs to her. "We done?" Oichi nods. "Yup! You are gonna stay with me!" Kendric smiles and hugs her legs. "Yay. I stay with Auntie!" Oichi gigged. "So adorable. Let's go get your sisters." "Sissy? They stay too?" Oichi nods. "Yup. We have to go get them and bring them home." Isane handed her a folder. "In case the oldest two give you some trouble." Oichi nods. "Thank you. Come along Kenny." She walks away. Kendric quickly followers her.
Today was Jess's last day at the superhero café. She had already put in her two weeks and was going to wait until her own store was done. She was wearing a Harley Quin outfit as her last outfit. The staff was sad to see her go but wished her luck.
Carrying, a tray of drinks, Jess stopped by the booth she and Ulquiorra had first meet at. She smiles softly at that and walks by. "Here you go. One Batman frappe and a Superman ice-cold tea. Your food will be ready in another 10 minutes." She turns around and saw a few people with cameras. She chuckled and posed while they took a few. Heading to the kitchen she saw Yuzu and Jinta hard at work cooking. "Good work you two." Yuzu turned to her and smiled. "Do you really have to go?" Jess nods. "Yes, now that I can start my own shop, I think you all would be better without me. Don't worry I left everything to Izzy. I'm sure she is going to do a great job." "I know that but…I'm gonna miss you." Jess chuckled and hugged her. "Aw! You are so cute Yuzu. It's not like I am leaving the city. I'll be right down the road and I will still come and visit!" Yuzu smiled and hugged her back.
Izzy walked in. "Jess your man is here." Jess blinks. "He is?" She followed Izzy to the front where Ulquiorra was standing. "Hi, hun!" She smiled walking over to him. "I came to pick you up." "Really? My shift hasn't ended yet." "It's cool." Izzy says. "It's your last day you don't have to spend it here." Jess sighs. "True but." "It's important." Ulquiorra says. "I need you to come with me." Jess shakes her head. "Alright, let me go change and I'll be right back." She heads to the back.
Within 10 minutes, Jess came back wearing a light green shirt with blue shorts and flats. Her Harley Quinn outfit was packed in her bag. Her hair was out and lose. Walking to Ulquiorra she handed him her bag and he took it. She turns around and smiles at everyone. "I just want to say that I enjoyed working here with all of you. Just know that I'm not leaving forever. I'll be back to check up on you. Izzy is now the new general manager. She is a hard worker, and she is the best person I know for the job. I wish you all well and goodbye." She waves at them before Ulquiorra took her hand. The crew waved back at her watching her leave.
Reaching outside of the mall. Jess looks at Ulquiorra. "So why did I have to leave early today?" "You will see." He says reaching the car. They got in and drove off. Jess's phone rings and she digs it out of her bag. Pulling it out she answered it. "Hello?" "Hey, Jess!" Jess chuckled. "Hi, Oichi. What's up?" "I have awesome news! I got custody of not only Kendric but the girls as well!" Jess's eyes lit up. "No way! Oh my gosh Oichi! This calls for a celebration! Where are you!?" "I'm on my way to the hotel to get the girls. Then we are going to stop at the mall and get them some new clothes and then head home so they can pick out the rooms and get everything sorted." Jess frowned. "Do you need me to come with you to the hotel? Lexton might be an issue." "Na, I have official documents. He can't say much about that." Jess sighs. "True. Just be careful okay. If anything happens call me." "I will. Bye!" She hangs up. Jess chuckles. "Oichi got full custody over the kids. We should throw a BBQ party for them." "Mhm…let's focus on this first." Jess pouted and crossed her arms. "Where are we going anyways? What was so special that it couldn't wait until I got off work?"
"Have some patience." Ulquiorra says. Jess huffs out and crossed her arms and sat back in the car. Driving through the city she spotted Oichi's shop. They stopped just short of it and pulled into a different parking lot. Ulquiorra turns off the car and gets out. Jess does as well and gasps to see a large, beautiful sigh that said Aroma Café bar. The building itself stood out since it was dark purple with white and brown linings. There was a large covering that stretched out over the sidewalk and had outside chairs and tables. The windows were large and were a little tinted. "Ulquiorra!? Where are we!?" Ulquiorra walked around the car and grabbed her hand. "Your store…" Jess's eyes widen. "What!? No! This is not my store. It was supposed to be an art café and the name isn't what we picked!" "It was on the list of what you would like the store to be called." He pulled her to the door. Taking out a key he unlocked the door and they stepped inside.
Jess's eyes were widened with awe. The walls of the store were organically shaped and colored like a coffee sack made up of a "Plywood" type of wood, whereby the pillars in between are coated with textile coffee sacks. There were tables and hanging chandeliers that represent the coffee grains lined up asymmetrically to generate the impression of being inside a coffee sack.
The separating wall has a double function; decorative and functional. Its organic shape consists of the most dominant part of the premise enabling a unique feeling of sitting, unlike any other one that comes across in everyday life. Right the middle of the store is equipped with seats and tables also unique by their design establishing a connection in-between the environment by separating wall and the bar. The separation wall section is completed by the section behind the bar achieving thus the closing shape of the sack. There was a coffee bar in the back. The outer perimeter was coated with a sort of organic layer yielded by the 4cm plywood parts and reflects/depicts the dynamism of the bar itself.
On the side, there was a separate section. Walking through there Jess saw large empty bookcases, with dark purple tables, chairs, and bean bags. There was a single large window and a door that showed the other side of the street, behind the store.
Jess walked around in shock. "What is this!" Ulquiorra put his hand in his pockets. "I knew you were unhappy about the art café since the center had such a bad history with cafés so instead Oichi and I decided to switch up the plans a bit. Instead of a café, your new store could become a coffee bar. The section in the back is a reading section." Jess couldn't believe it. "A coffee bar?" "A new hang out for everyone and a good way for you to start up our family business." "Ours?" Jess asked. Ulquiorra nods. "I will keep the booklets in check along with anything else you may need budget-wise. All you have to do is make and create delicious coffee and sweets…" Jess was at a lot for words. Her mind was blown. 'Did Grimmjow really do all of this!? I'm gonna hug that man so tight, till he feels like his back is going to break.' She starts to tear up as she ran her fingers across the table. "Do you not like it?" Ulquiorra said. She turned around quickly and rushed up to him.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a very deep and passionate kiss. Her hands ran through his hair, and she pressed her body close to him. She pulled away slightly. "I love it! Oh my gosh! This is freaking amazing! I love you so much!" She kissed him again backing him up to one of the tables. She broke the kiss with a flushed face. "Thank you so much for this…" Ulquiorra starts to fix his hair. He then grabbed her hand and led her to the back past the bar and through a door. The room they walked into had a small break room. 'This must be for the employees… Where is he taking me?' Ulquiorra took out another key and unlocked the door they reached. He opened it in haste and turned the light on. Jess's eyes sparkled to see that she had her very own office and mini kitchen with a full coffee maker set. Her hand slips through his and she ran around the room looking at everything. She didn't notice that Ulquiorra had closed and locked the door behind him.
Jess giggled as she ran through all the coffee beans and the equipment. She then went back and sat on a very comfy dark purple couch. "Ulq this is amazing! I can't wait to make up new coffee and sweets back here!" Ulquiorra walked over to the couch and sat beside her. She goes to get back up but is pulled back down making her squeak a little. Ulquiorra pulled her onto his lap and kissed her. She hums out as his hands pull her shirt up. He cups one of her breasts and squeezes it. Jess shivered and moved to where she was sitting on his lap with her front facing him. Ulquiorra breaks the kiss and starts to attack her neck. "Oh…w-what's gotten into you? Was it when I kissed you a few seconds ago?" Jess asked, moaning more as his hands slipped into her shorts. He lays her down on the couch and quickly removes her shorts and panties. "Ulquiorra…" He kisses her again, removing his belt and unbuckling his pants.
Jess chuckled inside her head. It wasn't perfect but she was slowly mastering the way to turn Ulquiorra on. It was a 50/50 chance that it worked and today she nailed it. She learned that he very much liked it when she made the first move. She moans out loudly feeling his harden member push inside her. "Oh…" She clings to him as their bodies moved in perfect sync. "Ulquiorra! Ah! Yes, right there!" She groans out as he lifted one of her legs, going deeper inside her. The couch under them started to squeak slightly. Their bodies started to sweat. The sound of skin pounding on skin echo through the office intensified the spark in their bodies. Ulquiorra breaths out softly while licking Jess's ear. He was already getting close. So much that she came right after him. Ulquiorra shook feeling her walls tighten around her as she came. They both pants, coming down from their quickie. Jess smiles up at him with a happy expression. "I love you." "I love you as well…" Ulquiorra says sitting her up. They shared a kiss and afterward went for another round.
There was a small meeting going on in the center. All the division leaders and Yamamoto were discussing future plans. "As you all know, I plan to step down soon." He says. They listen closely to him. "I have an heir but, they are nowhere near ready to take my place." They could shockingly hear the sadness in his voice. Kensei sighs mentally. 'I might can get her to at least visit the old man…' "In any case, I don't plan to give up on having them taking my place but until those times come, I will be stepping down within the following years. I will name my placeholder at a different time. I would hold that my heir can bring more change to the center than I did and create new bonds within the city. It is time for us to stop looking at ourselves as an individual company and do better things for those who follow us. With that being said, I want more effort to help Hueco Mondo to rise. That means taking in those who need jobs and helping with the orphanage that will be built and changes will be made to the center. You will all get a brief notice in your mail about what will be changing. This meeting is done."
The division leaders got up and started to exit. Kensei walked out and grabbed his phone. He dialed Oichi's number as he walked back to his office. "Hello?" "Hey, I know this is your day off, but do you have a moment to chat?" "Honestly, I don't. Is there any way I can call you back?" "Sure, just don't forget." He says chuckling. He heard her scoff. "I will not. As soon as I get done, I will call you back. Just make sure you pick up." He smiles. "Sure thing. I'll be waiting." She hangs up. Kensei put his phone away and heard someone clearing their throat. He turns around to see Shinji leaning on the wall. "I see you are still trying to get close to Oichi." "No, I am not! Quit saying that before you start rumors." "Soooo you don't like her?" "I value you her as a good assistant." "Mhmm…if you say so. I just don't want you getting hurt chasing after a taken woman." Shinji walks up to him and pats his shoulder. "It's better if you don't involve yourself with her too much unless it really is for work." He walked by him leaving. Kensei ran his fingers through his head. He admitted to himself that he may have liked Oichi a tiny bit, but he would never cross the line. They had a strictly professional relationship, and it was going to stay that way. Unless Grimmjow really mess up then he would not make a move on her. He started walking back to his office. 'How lucky is that criminal to capture a gem like her.' He says to himself frowning.
Oichi soon arrived at the hotel. She and Kenny were walking down the hall when she notices Charlotte at the door alone. He was posing in front of the camera until he spotted her. "Ah! What a lovely surprise! Have you come to see the children?" Oichi nods. "We have news for them." Kenny frown clinging to Oichi's leg. Charlotte scared him. Charlotte chuckled and knocked on the door. "Dear children! You have a surprise visitor!" "Shut up!" He heard someone scream. Oichi could right away tell it was Amanda. "Tell, whoever it is to go away! I am not in the mood to see anyone right now!" She yelled. Charlotte frowned and looked at Oichi. "May I?" Oichi asked. He nods and steps out the way. Oichi knocks on the door. "Hello? Amanda sweetie? Are you okay?" She heard a gasp and then rushing footsteps. The door opened quickly to a teary-eyed Amanda. "Ms. Oichi!" She yelled hugging her. Oichi rubs her back.
She looked into the room to see Shelia sitting on the bed also in tears with Ben and Lexton in the room, glaring at each other. Kendric pokes his head in the door and ran in. He crawled up on the bed to Shelia. "Sissy sad? Hug?" He says holding his arms up. Shelia sniffed and smiled at him. She cuddled with him. Oichi gently pulled Amanda off her and grabbed her hand. She walked into the room and closed it behind her. "Hi…am I interrupting something?" Lexton pushed his glasses up. "Not at all. I was going to call you next anyway. With Jetter now gone, and my plans here are done, I plan to go back home overseas and taking my siblings with me. All expect Ben and Kendric."
Amanda turned to him. "I said I don't want to leave!" "Me either!" Shelia yelled. "You both don't have a choice. Ben cannot provide for you and even if he gets the house how is he going to keep it in shape and pay the bills? He is jobless and I refuse to send money back-to-back for all three of you. You both still have school, and I will not allow you to drop out of it." Amanda grips her fist. "It's not fair!" Ben crossed his arm. What Lexton said was true but he hated to see his sisters so upset. Oichi walked up to Lexton and handed him the folder. "You don't have to worry about the girls then. As I just finish coming from family court and gain custody of not only Kendric but the girls as well." Lexton's eyes widen as he opened the folder and started to read. Ben smiled. Amanda and Shelia were shocked. "What?" Oichi turns to them. "Girls, get your things. You are moving in with me." It took a moment for both Amanda and Shelia to understand what was going on. Tears leaked down their cheeks as they ran to her and hugged her. "Thank you!" They yelled. Oichi giggled and hugged them back.
Lexton sighs closing the folder. "Unbelievable…and just how do you plan on taking care of not only your own children, Kendric, and now my sisters? Why are you going so far for this family when we owe you nothing!?" Oichi smiled. "Because everyone deserves a second chance. Kendric never even had a first one. I am doing this because I want to. I'm not looking for a handout or anything. I want you all to know that you have a family here. Go on girls. Gather your things. The girls giggled and started to gather their things. Oichi looked at Ben. "You are welcome to come stay as to Ben. I can get you a starting job so you can at least save up and stuff." Ben smiles. "Thanks…I owe you big for this." "You owe me nothing."
Looking back at Lexton who stood up. "You are a strange woman…but fine. You did bring me the paperwork. Should anything happen to by siblings though…I hope that you know that my wrath will…" "Blah, blah, blah…" Ben says grabbing their things. "She is doing a hell lot better than you or me. It is a little too late for threats. Have fun overseas. We will be simply fine without you." Shelia giggled and picked up Kendric. "Yay! Now we can see Kenny every day!" Amanda says skipping away with her bags. Once they left Lexton sat back down and sighs. "At least they are with someone trustworthy…"
When Oichi got home with everyone she saw Grimmjow's car parked. 'Lunch break maybe…' She bit her lip. "Well let's go ahead and get this over with…" She parked beside his car and got out. Ben helped the girls with their bags and Kendric walked alongside Oichi. Grabbing her keys she unlocked the door and walked in with them coming in behind her. "Babe? That you?" "I'm the only other person with a key sweetie. Of course, it's me." Oichi says. "Yeah, but I hear more than your and Kendric's footsteps…" He walked around the corner with a bottle of water in his hand. He raised his eyebrow looking at Ben, Amanda, and Shelia. His eyes glanced down at the bags. "Oichi…what is going on…" Oichi rubbed her arm. "Can we go into the other room next to the kitchen? You three settle in the living room for now, okay? Kendric to your room." Kendric nods and runs off. Oichi and Grimmjow move to the room while Ben and his sisters sat in the living room. "I feel like this isn't going to go well…" Shelia says.
Nel was sitting at home alone, she was in her home office doing some paperwork. She sighs rubbing her belly. "You are moving around a lot little one. I know you must be really excited to come out soon haha." She leans on her elbow. "I wonder if he will leave after she is born. See our daughter and get cold feet…" She sighs. "If he doesn't then maybe that is proof that we truly don't belong together." She looked down at her belly sadly. "I don't want him to leave." She starts to tear up. "That stupid dumbass, I don't want him to leave us." She put her hands over her face and started to cry. "Stupid hormones…" She cried more failing to hear footsteps walking into the room. "Eh? What the hell are you crying about now?" Nel sniffed and looked up to see Nnoitra with a frown. "Well!?" He asked. Nel rubbed her teary cheeks. "It's nothing. I was just getting emotional. It happens when I'm alone you know. Hormones." Nnoitra raised his eyebrow. "Uh-huh…anyways…get up and get cleaned up. We are going out to eat." "Huh?" "Don't make me repeat myself. Do whatever you women do and get ready for dinner. We are going to that BBQ shack place you like so much." Nel smiles. "Really!? Just the three of us!?" "Three…" He looked at her belly. "Yeah. Just us three." Nel gets up. "Awesome. I'll take a shower and ask Oichi if Gray can stay with her tonight." She walked up to him and grabs his arms. She pulled him down and kissed him on his cheeks. "Thanks, honey." She wobbles to the bathroom. Nnoitra rubs his cheek.
Back at Oichi and Grimmjow's, Grimmjow was looking at the paperwork and frowned as Oichi finished explaining. "You can't be serious Oichi…" Oichi frowns and looks down. "Honestly, I am shocked as well. I didn't expect to get the girls just yet. I went there to talk about Kenny and then got blindsided by this, but it can't be helped now, and they have nowhere to go." "Ben has the fucking mansion! Let them stay there!" "The courts deemed him to be unfit to watch the girls." "We don't have enough room for those three! We still have to prepare for our own kid if you haven't forgotten!" Oichi frowned. "Considering I'm carrying the baby its hard to forget. Look, honey, what's done is done. Lex is leaving and he refuses to send money to the girls." Grimmjow tossed the papers on the table. "What's done is not done! Why do you keep making decisions like these behind my back!" "I didn't do this behind your back. I told you that it just happened!" "Then take them back!" "NO! They are staying here!" Oichi snaps at him. "They are not!" Grimmjow says slamming his hand into the table. "Those brats are old enough to live on their own! I don't care if they get an apartment or sleep back into a hotel, but they WILL NOT stay here!" Grimmjow snaps back.
Oichi bit her lip. "Don't act like you brought this house!" She yelled. "My father was the one who paid this off! You didn't contribute to this! The house is in my name and I have free reign to allow them to stay here!" Grimmjow stood up. "So, you are finally throwing that into my face!? You think I am less of a man since your father was the one that pulled strings!? You think I can't handle my own shit without him coming to the recuse!?" Oichi frowned, realizing what she had just said. "N-No…that's not what I…Grim I…" "I don't want to hear it! How am I supposed to provide and help our family, to help you, when you keep inviting people into our…no, your…home!" Oichi shook. The way he said that made it sting. "Grim honey please…let's not do this…" Grimmjow was about to say something when Starrk walked in with a yawn.
"Seems like you two are having quite a useless argument…." Grimmjow frowned. "Go take a nap or something it's nothing that…" Starrk moved quickly appearing in front of Grimmjow. It startled him to the point where he fell back on the couch. "Maybe you should go take a breather or go back to work. You always were smart, but you wear your anger on your sleeve and you lash out at the nearest thing which happens to be Oichi…" Grimmjow turned to Oichi who had tears rolling down her cheek. "I'm sorry…" She says sniffing. "Please don't be mad at me anymore. I'm sorry…" Grimmjow frowned and looked away. "Take a walk or go to work. Whichever one you pick, make sure you are calm before you step back in here." Starrk says with more bass in his voice. Grimmjow snitched his teeth and got up. He walked through the kitchen and into the living room to see Ben and his sisters looking nervous. He glanced at the girls and sighs. Grabbing his coat and keys he walked out, slamming the door behind him.
Starrk sat down beside Oichi. "Just give him a little space. You know how he is." Oichi rubbed her eyes. "I know but…like I said it wasn't planned. I would never do this without talking to him. Everything was sprung on me, and I shouldn't have said that bit about my dad. That was so horrible of me to say…" Starrk pats her head. "Don't get upset. Once he cools down try this talk again." Oichi sighs. "Thank you…there is some leftover breakfast if you want some. I need to get the girls settle and maybe lay down for a bit…"
She gets up with a slight wobble and walks out to the living room. She dried her eyes and smiled softly. "Okay you three, let's go find a room." Ben stood up. "Oichi…if you don't mind, I can always go back to the hotel. I have enough money on my own and plus, I plan on selling the family home. Nothing but bad memories there." Oichi frowned. "Ben…" "Grim is angry, mainly because I am here. He is right. It must look pathetic that I can't even take care of my own family. The last thing I want to do is put you in a spot like this." Oichi sighs. "Ben…" He smiled and walked up to her. "All I care about is making sure my little siblings don't turn out like me or Lex. Thank you for helping our family." Taking his phone, he called for a taxi and headed to the door. Oichi frowned as she watched him walk out. She then turned to Shelia and Amanda. "Okay, you two. Why don't we get you settled into a room? For now, you will have to share a room, okay?" The girls nod. Amanda rubbed her arm. "Is Grimmjow mad at you? About us?" Oichi kept her smile. "Grim has a way of not feeling in control sometimes. He has been through a lot, and he has been blindsided many times. He isn't mad with you two at all. More like he is upset that I didn't keep him in the loop. To be honest, I planned to fight for custody for you both but in court today it just…things happened too quickly for my liking. None of this was planned."
Amanda and Sheila's eyes grew wide. "You…you were going to take us in any way?" Shelia asked. "Of course. I couldn't let you to miss such a wonderful opportunity to grow and learn as children should. Now come along. I think the middle floor has a spare room." Oichi giggled a bit. "It may be time to look for a much bigger home. Grim says he wants more kids but soon we won't have enough room for that."
Once Oichi got them settled into the room, she went to Kendric's room. He was laying on the floor playing on his tablet. He had his headphone's on and smiling as he played word games. "So cute…" She closed the door leaving a crack in it. She then headed upstairs to her room and sat on her bed. Tears started to swell up. "I shouldn't have said that to him. That was so horrible…" She rubs her cheeks. "He must be so mad at me." She started to cry softly. Her phone started to ring. She sniffed and grabbed it. It was Kensei. She didn't feel like talking right now but it may have been about work. She took a deep breath and tried to dry the running tears. She answered on the fifth ring. "H-Hello…" She says. "Oichi? Hey, are you busy right now?" "No, not at the moment." She says with a small sniff.
There was a quick pause. "You're crying." "What? No, I'm not." "What's wrong? Talk to me." Oichi rubbed her cheeks. "I'm fine." "You're lying to me. Is it about the brats? Everyone knows you have them now so if you feel bad about it you shouldn't." "What do you mean everyone knows about it?" "I meant us, high ups. It was a decision made by the old man but enough about that, are they already giving you trouble?" "No! Nothing like that it's just…I…I feel blindsided. I'm happy I got the girls, but I wasn't expecting strings to get pulled for my sake. I explained that to Grim and then he got so mad." Oichi started to get upset as the words tumbled out of her mouth. "I said something so mean! I tried to tell him that I was caught off guard. I would never make such an important decision behind his back. I always talk to him about things this big. Then he snapped at me and then I snapped back telling him that it wasn't his house and how my dad was the one who got it. How could I say something so horrible! It's not like he already feels like he owes my dad but, here I am rubbing it in his face." Oichi's tears were overflowing as her hormones took over.
"I didn't mean to say like that. I just got so mad! Those girls have nowhere to go and their brother refuses to send money to them once he was gone. I know we don't have too much more room here, but I can't just take them back!" She cried out.
At the center, Kensei was sitting in his office listening to every word. He raised his hand and slammed it on the desk cracking it. The legs wobbled but it didn't break. The door opened and Shinji and Rose walked in with lunch. "Hey, we got…" Kensei held his hand up, shutting them up. They glanced at each other and looked down at the crack table. "What's going on?" Shinji asks. Kensei sighs and moved the phone from his ear. He put the phone on speakerphone, and they could hear Oichi's crying through the phone. Their eyes widen in curiosity as he took the speaker off. "Oichi…calm down." He waited for a second. "I'm sorry…I just blurted all of that out…" "No, it's fine. You shouldn't be holding that in. I can't say that I don't understand that guy but I guess if you look at it from his eyes he also feels blind-sighted. Guys like him like to feel like they are in control but I'm sure you know that." "Yes…" "I doubt he is mad with you in general. He is lashing out because he can't get a handle on things. Where is he now?" "He left…I don't know if he went on a walk or went back to work…" "I'm sure after he comes back he will be calmer. What I want you to do is tell him that strings were pulled for our side. Tell him that the center will also send money to help support the girls and get them into whatever school they need." "R-Really? I mean is that okay to say?" "Yes. I didn't plan to keep you out of the loop because it does affect you but we will talk more about that when you come back to work." "Oh…okay then…"
"Are you calm now?" "Yes, thank you, Kensei. I apologize for throwing this at you. You called for a different reason, didn't you? Not to hear me cry so pathetically." Kensei chuckled leaning back in his chair. "You're pregnant. It's not pathetic to let your emotions rule you every now and then. Hopefully, the idiot will bring you back something you can pig out on as an apology." "HeeHee…that would be nice…so um…what did you want to talk to me about?" Kensei rubbed his head. "We don't have to discuss that right now. I want you to get some rest. With all the crying you just did, you must be feeling tired." He heard her gasps. "What? No! I don't get tired THAT easily! Just tell me!" Kensei laughed. "Very well then." He drops his smile. "It's about the old man."
He heard her sighed. "Yea? What about him?" "Well, today at the meeting he looked. Sad? I didn't know the man could make that expression." "Why was he sad?" "He has decided to step down. Not any time soon but until you are either trained or his replacement is ready." "I see…are you trying to guilt-trip me into something?" Kensei chuckled. "No, but what I would like for you to consider is to sit down with him and talk. Maybe bring the twins so he could meet them? Honestly other than your father you and the girls are the only family he has. Maybe that might cheer him up?" He waited for a response.
Back at the house, Oichi thought to herself for a bit as she crawled to the middle of the bed and lays down. Knowing her father, she wasn't going to get any answers from him, and she'd like to know how she connected to Yamamoto. "Okay. I might consider it…I need to talk to Grimmjow whenever he gets home. I hope he isn't gone for too long…anyways. I'll let you know what I decide. I think it would be good for the girls to meet their great-great-grandfather, but I don't know if I'm ready for that myself." "I see…then keep me updated. If you need someone to talk to while that idiot lover of yours is being a baby, my phone is always on." Oichi giggles. "Thank you." "Oichi…" "Yes?" "I…" There was a pause. "Kensei? You, okay?" "Uh yes, I'll see you tomorrow for work." "Oh. Okay." She says as she hangs up. "Hmm…weird…" She leans slightly back; she rubbed her belly gently. 'Come home soon Grim…'
She frowned and grabbed her pregnancy pillow. She cuddled up to it, right as she was about to drift off, the door to her room opened. She sat up and turned slightly to see Kendric. She sat up. "Honey, what did I tell you about coming in without knocking?" "Sorry…auntie was crying. You need a hug?" Oichi smiles. "I do. Can you give me one?" He smiled and ran over to the bed. He climbs on the bed as Oichi rolls over. "Wanna take a nap with me?" She asked. He nods and cuddles up to her. She giggles and places her arms around him. Once they got comfortable, they both drifted off to sleep.
At the center, Kensei puts his phone down and sighs. Shinji and Rose were eating, waiting for answers. "Soooo…if I were you I would stop trying to get Oichi to fall for you." Kensei turned his head to them. "What!? I am NOT doing that!" "Oh, Oichi…if that lover isn't man enough for you just come into my arms." Rose says. He pulled out a red rose, stands up, and spins around. "I could be the man who makes you happy. Isn't that what you wanted to say after that call?" Kensei's face turned a shade of pink. "I was not! I'm more worried about if she's going to stress herself out dealing with that criminal!" The two men rolled their eyes at him. Kensei crossed his arms. "Come on man, just tell us how you really feel." Shinji says with a chuckle. "Will you stop harassing me. I told you we have a professional relationship. I would never overstep that. Now if her so-called fiancé happens to mess things up and she needs a friendly helping hand, then I cannot deny that." The two men glance at each other then back to Kensei who started looking through some paperwork.
Ichigo and Orihime were leaving the hospital. "How are you feeling?" Ichigo asked. "I'm good. A little hungry." Ichigo grabbed her hand and led her to the car. "Then before we pick up our hardheaded son, let me get some food in you." She smiled and got into the car. Ichigo got into the driver's seat and started the car. He backed out of the parking lot and drove off. Orihime sighs out softly. "I can't believe we are having another baby. I am so excited." Ichigo chuckled. "It's a good thing we got a bigger house. Hopefully, this kid will be less destructive than Kazui." Orihime laughs. "It's just a phase. He will grow out of it soon." "I have a feeling that he won't but that is to be debatable, I guess. Maybe having a little sister or brother will calm him down." Orihime smiles. "Are you looking for a girl or boy?" "Well before we had Kazui I would have said a boy but if a girl is less destructive then I'd rather have a girl…then again just looking at Emma…" He shivers. Orihime laughs, covering her mouth. "Your so silly. I'm actually hoping for a girl but even if we get another boy I will be just as happy."
At the park, Grimmjow was sitting on the bench smoking a cigarette. He rubbed his head in frustration. "Dammit, it…why did I yell at her like that…of course this isn't her fault." He sighs and blows out smoke. "I'm always getting angry with her. How does she put up with me…?" He puts his head down and stares at the ground. "Uncle!" Grimmjow looked up and saw Bella skipping over to him. "Bella?" She giggled as Eli ran after her with a stuffed panda bear. "What are you two doing? Where is Chad?" Grimmjow asked. "Getting us ice cream!" Bella jumps up and sits on the bench. Eli looks up at Grimmjow. He put out his cigarette and picked up Eli and sat him on the other side. "What are you doing uncle?" Bella asked. "Just thinking." "Mhmm…you mad at auntie?" She asked. Grimmjow frowned. "No, why would I be mad at her." "Ms. Mila said you looked deep in thought and that you must have gotten in a fight with auntie…" "Ms…who? What? No…I well…okay so no, I'm not mad at your aunt. I just got a little angry at myself. I'm here cooling my head off before I go home." "You gonna get flowers? Auntie likes candy!" Bella says smiling. "Yeah…maybe. Anyways this is adult stuff you shouldn't be worried about this." Eli whimpers. "U-Uncle…" "Hmm…" Grimmjow turned to him. "A-A-Auntie likes…P-Panda's…" He says squeezing his stuffed animal.
Grimmjow sighs. "Yes, I know…so you think I should get her a panda bear?" Eli nods shyly. He chuckled. "Alright, so panda bears and candy." Bella giggled. "Yes! That will make auntie happy!" Grimmjow chuckled. "Alright then." Bella and Eli smiled and giggle. Eli then looked out and smiled. "Daddy!" Grimmjow looked up and his eyes grew wide slightly seeing Chad walk over with two paper bowls of ice cream. Besides him though, as a shocker to him, was Mila Rose. She was smiling as she walked beside him. "Hi, daddy! Ms. Mila!" They walked over to them. "Ice cream!" They yelled out. Chad smiled and looked at Grimmjow. "Hey, sorry that we sent them over to you." Grimmjow leans back. "It doesn't look like your sorry…" He looked at Mila. "And you…quit telling Bella about adult matters…" Mila rolled her eyes. "Oh, shut up. Don't you feel better?" Grimmjow groans. "As I said…don't try to include her into adult matters." Chad handed the bowls to the kids, and they happily started eating. Mila sat beside Bella and crossed her legs while Chad picked up Eli and sat him on his lap. "So how long have you two been dating?" "Only for a little while." Mila says. "I enjoy his company more than most." "Your annoying friends know?" "To a degree. They don't need to know everything I am doing." Bella swings her legs as she eats. "Ms. Mila makes daddy happy!" Chad rubbed his head in embarrassment. Grimmjow chuckled. "Kids." He rubbed Bella's head, making her giggle.
"So what were you and Oichi fighting about." Mila asked. "We aren't fighting. I lost my temper about something stupid and I'm here to cool my head off." "You lose your temper a lot…you should cool that down." Mila says. "I don't need you to tell me that you screaming banshee." Mila's eye twitched. "Maybe we can help?" Chad asked. "We are friends after all." Grimmjow sighs. "She got custody of Kendric this morning." "And why are you upset at that?" Mila asked. "Because somehow she got custody of the two girls as well. We weren't preparing for that. We have a baby on the way and for some fu…freaking…reason Starrk is now back." Mila gasps slightly. "Seriously!? He is back in town!?" "Yeah, just showed up at the door and Oichi invited him to stay. He took over one of the rooms. So now we have to give one of the rooms to the girls and still have to set up the nursery. We aren't going to have enough room in the house for all these mouths to feed…" "I see…so you are frustrated that you don't have enough room? That is understandable but, you are a construction worker. You can always make more room…" "True but then that means Oichi, and the kids would need a place to stay while I do that. Oichi isn't going to want to part with those girls. Now right now at this point and…well…it wasn't the only reason why I was angry."
Mila sighs. "I knew it. What did you do?" "All I am telling you is that her dad was mentioned, and I lost my temper. I know the man did a lot for us and I know she didn't mean to say it since she never use him over me before. I…lashed out at her. Starrk told me to take a walk or go to work. Felt like shit and didn't feel like walking into work like that so here I am…" Mila frowns and smacked Grimmjow on the back of the head. "What the hell!?" He snapped at her. He glared. Mila sighs. "You mean are idiots…you lost your temper because Oichi is thinking about everyone else but herself. As what she does. She is pregnant and you lashed out at her because she brought up her father. Let me guess, she reminded you that he was the one who brought the house you lived at…" Grimmjow looked away from her. "Uh-huh…listen, before you go back to that house, consider your options. If you don't want to build onto your house time to look for a new one. The ones around Nel are good prices and it will be closer to the school when it's built and this time you can buy it instead of Oichi's father. Your money, your purchase, bigger spots for the kids and etc etc." Grimmjow sighs. "I suppose…it would be nice to live closer to the school once it's built…" He rubs his face. "It's something to keep in the back of my mind for now…" He gets up. "Uncle?" Bella asked. "Where are you going?" "To get your aunt some candy and a panda bear." Bella smiles and so does Eli. "Yay! Auntie happy!" Eli says. Bella giggles. Chad smiles. "Good luck, though I doubt she is still mad at you." "Don't encourage him to think she won't be mad. Make sure you get some flowers or something." "Ugh, shut up," Grimmjow says storming off. "Bye, uncle!" Bella yells waving her hand.
Mila shakes her head. "That man…losing his temper over something so small." Chad chuckles. "He cares a lot about Oichi. I can understand that. She cares a lot more about others than herself and sometimes disregards the outcomes of her nice actions." Mila shrugs. "That is true. I worry that she may find herself in a pickle one day because she is so nice."
At Ichigo's and Orihime, Orihime was munching on some snacks while Ichigo was in the kitchen. The doorbell rings out. Orihime gets up and walks to the door she opens it and smiles to see Yuzu standing there with a shy smile. "Hi, Orihime!" Orihime smiles. "Hello! Where is your sister?" "Oh, she is in a study group with Izzy. I came to talk to you and Ichigo about something." "Sure thing. Come on in." Yuzu smiled and walked in. The door was closed behind her and they walked into the kitchen. Ichigo was making beef stew for dinner. Yuzu sniffs. "Mmm! Smells yummy!" Ichigo turned to her. "Oh, hey Yuzu. What are you doing here? If you are here to spoil your nephew, I'll kick you out." Yuzu pouted. "I will freely spoil him as much as I want! Anyways I came to speak to you and Orihime." "Oh yeah? What's up? Is it about dad?" "No, but I want us to have a family dinner together." "You came all the way over here to tell us that? You could have called." "I could have but…I wanted to tell you this so in person." "And that would be? You know I hate it when you beat around the bush like that." Yuzu put her hands behind her back. "Well…I've been seeing someone, and I want to introduce him to the family now." Ichigo raises his eyebrow. "You're dating someone? Do I know him?" "Yes, it's um…Jinta…" Ichigo blinked as he processed what she just said. His eyes grew wide. "What!? You and Jinta! How long has this been going on!?" "For a while…and we didn't want you or dad to freak out about this so I thought we could have a nice family dinner together." Ichigo rubbed his head. "So, dad knows?" "Not really…" Yuzu says rubbing her cheeks. Ichigo scratches his head. "Oh boy…I can see why you told me now. You need help breaking this down to that old fart." Yuzu smiles. "Please brother? I couldn't bear to tell him by myself." Orihime sat at the kitchen table. "Does Karin know?" Yuzu nods. "Yes, but she thinks I should just blab it out to dad but we both know how that is going to go." Ichigo sighs and crosses his arms. "Yeah…that is right. Alright, we will have dinner. We can set it whenever you're ready to tell dad about Jinta."
Yuzu smiled. "Thank you! I will let Jinta know! Oh, and I'll text you what the menu will be!" She ran up and hugged Ichigo. Orihime giggled. "So does that mean Mr. Urahara will be coming?" Ichigo scowled slightly. "I hope not. I'd rather just have Jinta there maybe his sister but as far as those other two go we really don't need a chaotic dinner…" Yuzu looked at the beef stew. "Don't forget to add more seasoning into that. Remember what I taught you." "I know what I am doing." Ichigo says rolling his eyes. "Shouldn't you be planning a dinner?" "Oh right!? I have to get going! See you guys later!" She quickly ran out of the kitchen. They heard the door open and close. Orihime looked at Ichigo. "Are you okay?" "I'm a little shocked but it's Jinta. He may be rough around the edges but I'm sure he can make my sister happy."
Hours passed and it was soon nighttime. Renji was sitting beside Rukia in their bathroom. She was puking after eating dinner. Renji rubbed her back and sighs. "Do you want some ginger tea?" Rukia shook her head. "No…just some water." Renji nods and walks downstairs to the kitchen. Ichika was over at her uncle's house this week. He claimed he wanted to give Rukia and Renji a break but really, he was just going to spoil Ichika rotten to where she doesn't want to leave. Renji groans. "I never thought he would be the type to spoil her. I thought he was going to be super strict in her upbringing." He grabbed a glass and put three cubes of ice in it. Opening the fridge, he grabbed a jug of water and pour it into the cup until it was three inches from the top of the cup. As he places the jug down, he heard Rukia coming downstairs. He waited a few moments until she walked in. "Were you hungry?" "A little, but I wasn't sure what I wanted." She says. "Since Ichika isn't here, why don't we watch a movie and camp out in the living room like we use to do." Renji frowned and then smiled. "You sure you will be, okay?" Rukia nods. "Yes, do you want to a horror movie or action?" "Strange, you go for those thriller brain teaser stuff…" "Yeah but that makes your brain hurt and romance puts you to sleep. I say Action. Let's make some popcorn!" She says smiling. Renji chuckled. "Alright then. Any other snacks you want?" "Some fried pickles. Mmmm! Wait, do we have pickles!?" Renji opened the fridge and looked inside. "No…" "Then head to the store." "What, but babe…I don't think there is a 24/7 store open anymore…" Rukia pouted. "Renji! I want pickles! Get your butt out there and find some! I don't care if you have to steal them!" She shot him a glare that made him jump. "Okay! Okay! Sheesh!" He ran to the door, put his shoes on, grabbed his keys, and jet out of the house. Rukia saw his car lights and heard the car screech away.
She sighs and walks to the fridge, Renji had left it open. She looked at the side shelves and saw a jar of pickles. "Ugh, that man. He never looks for anything. Oh well." She grabbed the jar of pickles. "It will be good to have backup pickles for later. Heehee."
At Oichi's, she was in bed sleeping. She had fed the kids, placed the twins, Grayson, and Kendric in bed, and made sure Shelia and Amanda were settled in their rooms. Tomorrow they would go to the mall and pick out new stuff for the room. The house was silent as everyone slept. Downstairs, the door opened and Grimmjow walked in with a gift box. He closed the door and walked into the kitchen. His eyes adjusted into the darkness in the room, so he didn't need light. After placing the gift on the table, he walked upstairs to the second floor. He walked to Grayson's room and opened the door. The night light was on, and Grayson was sleeping in his bed cuddling up with a blue beetle toy. The blanket hung off him. Walking over he grabbed the blanket and placed it over him. He rubbed his head and tucked him in. He walked out and closed the door behind him. Walking down the hall he saw the girl's lights were still on. He walked over and knocked on the door.
He heard some shuffling before Shelia opened the door. "Oh! Grim your back." "What are you doing up? It's lights out after 11…" "Oh, I didn't know we had a bedtime. I was doing some late-night studying and Amanda is rearranging the closet." "Okay, all that can wait in the morning. It's time for bed. Now." Shelia nods and lets him in the room. Amanda huffs out tossing clothes left and right. "Hey…" Amanda looked at Grimmjow. "Oh! Welcome home!" She gets up. "I'm sorry that we bothered you and ms. Oichi but we promise to behave and follow your rules. So please don't be angry with Ms. Oichi!" "I'm not angry. As for rules you are breaking one now. Lights are off at 11. Get ready for bed. All this stuff can wait till tomorrow." Amanda smiles. "Of course! We already took showers and stuff." Once Shelia and Amanda put their things up they hopped in the King size bed together, since they had to share. "Tomorrow we will figure out how to design this room to fit both of your needs." He walked over to them. "Our home is your home now so don't be scared to ask for something." "So you aren't mad at us for staying?" Shelia asked.
Grimmjow rubbed his head and sighs. "No, I was never mad at you two or Oichi. Sure, I don't like how this went down but this is for the best…I owed your father a lot. When I was younger, he got me out of some bad spots. I hated his guts for thinking I was weak, but the old man really was just trying to make things tolerable." Grimmjow put his hands in his pockets. "I guess, looking after his kids would be a good way to repay the debt, I owe him." Amanda hums out. "Later…can you tell us more about dad?" Grimmjow nods. He walks back to the door. "Good night." "Night!" The girls said together. Grimmjow turned the light on and closed the door.
Walking further to the end of the hall he went to check on Kendric. He opened the door to see Kendric up and staring out the window. "Hey, squirt. What are you doing?" Kendric turned to him. "Auntie was crying again. Wanna sleep with her." Grimmjow frowned. "Not tonight." He walked over to the bed and sat on the side. He tucked in Kendric. "She sad." "I know but she will be better in the morning. Promise." "Pinky?" "Yeah, Pinky Promise." Kendric yawns and snuggles up to his pillow. "Waffles?" "Sure, thing bud." He waited until Kendric was fast asleep.
Once he left Kendric's room he walked upstairs and went to see the twins. He opened the door to see Naomi was up. She had gotten out of her bed and was sitting on Alisha's bed, trying to wake her up. "Naomi…" She jumps at the sudden call of her name. "Dada!" She yells. Alisha whimpers in her sleep. Grimmjow quickly walks over and picks up Naomi. "Shhh…why are you up little girl. You can't wake your sister up. She gets fussy when she doesn't get enough sleep." Naomi giggles and cuddles in his arms. "Dada…" Grimmjow rocks her gently. 'Right…she normally can't fully sleep until I rock her. Oichi must have had her hand full." He finally rocked Naomi back to sleep within a few minutes or so. He placed her back into her and covered her up. "You are getting better at escaping. Might need to place some protective bars when you sleep." He smiled and rubbed her head. He turned to Alisha and made sure she was good before he left the room.
Finally, he reached his room. He opened the door to see the tv playing silently. One of the murder mysteries shows was one. "How can she watch something like this at night." He grabbed the remote and turned it off. He looked at the bed and saw Oichi was laying on her side with her pregnancy pillow. He took off his shirt and pants and slid into bed. He moved closer to Oichi and wrapped an arm around her. She was wearing something silky. His hand rubbing her belly. "I'm home babe." He whispers into her ear. He takes in her smell. Her honey scent was strong. 'Must have taken a bath.' "Mmm…Grimmjow?" Grimmjow sat up slightly and watched her turn over slightly. "Your back." "Yeah…sorry I got home late." Oichi turns over to him. "It's okay. I'm sorry for what I said. I never wanted you to think that you don't provide for our family. It was unfair of me to bring up my dad…" "No, it's fine. I don't want you to apologize for something like that. You didn't say anything wrong. We will get through this together like always." He saw Oichi smile in the dark. "Yes…I love you." "I love you too." He felt her hand run down his chest. "Um…c-can we…" Grimmjow smirked. "You horny?" "Of course, I am. You were gone all day you know." Grimmjow chuckled and kissed her. He pulled back. "Then I'll ravage you until you pass out."
He kissed her again rubbing his hands down her back. His hand trailed down to her butt and then under her nightgown. He quickly realized she wasn't wearing any panties. He chuckled and broke the kiss. He kissed her neck and slipped two fingers inside her. "Ooo…G-Grim…" He licked and sucked at her neck leaving hicky's. "Grim w-wait…ahhh." His fingers went deeper. I messed it up!" He heard Amanda yell. Walking into the kitchen he saw black smoke coming from the stove. Shelia opened a window and started fanning the smoke before it set off the alarms. "I told you that you can't cook! They have microwave meals here stupid!" Amanda frowned. "I just wanted to make them a nice breakfast! You don't have to be mean about it!" "I do because you won't listen to me otherwise! Now, look what you did! You burned eggs! Who burns eggs!" "Well, I don't see you doing anything to help!"
Grimmjow sighs. "What the hell is going on…" Shelia and Amanda gasps. "G-G-Grim!" They both yelled. That caught the attention of the kids. "Daddy!" Grayson yelled. "Sissy throwing stuff!" Naomi screamed more. "DADA!" Kendric kept right on eating while Alisha tears up. "Da…" Grimmjow shakes his head. Amanda gasps. "Grim your hurt!" "I'm not. "Oh for Christ's sake…" He walked over to the door and opened it to see an angry Jess standing there with Ulquiorra who was carrying Nova. "Why haven't either of you been picking up!" She snapped. "Chill out will you. I'm just waking up to a house full of chaos here." Jess glared at him until she spotted the hicky's, and bite marks on his body. "Unbelievable. Where is Oichi?" "Sleeping. Don't wake her." He turns around showing the scratch marks on his back. He walked back to the kitchen. Jess and Ulquiorra walked in and. "Oh my…" Jess says looking at the living room. Ulquiorra shakes his head. "It smells like something is burning." Jess rushed to the kitchen to see Grimmjow scrapping out the burned eggs from the pans. Amanda was sniffing, unhappy that she made such a mess.
"Do you need any help?" She asked. "No, I got it. Not like this hasn't happened before." Grimmjow says putting the pan in soaking hot water. "Then I'm going to go check on Oichi." "Don't wake her." "I got it. Jeez. Honey can I have Nova?" Ulquiorra hands her to Jess and watched her walk upstairs. He then walked over to the living room. Naomi's eyes lit up. "Hi! Up!" She yelled holding her hands up. Ulquiorra let a small smile slip before going back to his blank expression. He picked her up and watched her cuddle into his chest. Kendric got up. "Gray put toys in." He says quickly grabbing the girl's toys. Grayson followed his lead. Alisha sat down and watched as she grabbed her wolf plushie.
Upstairs, Jess knocked on the door. "Come in…" She heard a soft voice say. She pushed the door opened and saw Oichi sitting up, putting her robe on. "Mmm…looks like you two had a rough night." She walked over to her. "I've been calling you all day." "Have you?" Oichi says rubbing her back. "What time is it?" "A little after 4. Kensei called Nel and she called me, and we both called you, but I can see why you didn't answer. You and Grimmjow have a fight?" She asked sitting in the chair in front of her. "A disagreement. About the girls. I said something bad but as you can see, we made up." Jess chuckled. "Yes, I see that. Your living room is a mess." "I bet." Oichi says with a sigh. Nova giggled and let out a happy cry making the woman smile.
The days flew by quickly and it was now April 10th. Nel was in the kitchen making her a snack when she felt something weird. She looked down and saw water running down her leg. She sighs. "Great…my water broke…oh! It's a bit early too." She holds her belly and walks over to the phone and dialed Nnoitra's number. He answered after the second ring. "Yeah?" He answered. "My water broke." Nel says flatly. "WHAT!?" Nnoitra shouts. Nel chuckled. "Yeah, our little girl is coming so can you come home and get me to the hospital?" "Don't panic! Just stay still!" Nel chuckled as she walked upstairs to her room. "Okay. I'm standing really still. So please hurry." She heard the phone dial tone. Shaking her head, she made it to her room and grabbed her to-go bag. She also grabbed her phone and called Oichi. It rings twice before she answered. "Hello?" "Hi, Oichi! I just went into labor." Oichi gasps. "Really! But it's so early!" "I know, I haven't felt my contractions yet so it may not be until later when she gets here." "Aw! As soon as I get the girls, we are gonna fly down there." Nel chuckled. "If you're getting the twins, can you get Grayson to?" "Of course! I'll call Grimmjow and he can meet us there." "Alright. I'll see you there hopefully with your new Goddaughter. Ciao!" She hangs up and walks back downstairs. She went and sat down on the couch and sighs. Instead of calling everyone, she sent out a group text message.
She soon heard the screeching of a car. Footsteps rushed up to the door and it was slammed open by a panicking Nnoitra who was dragging Tesra by the back of his collar. "Why was this dip shit out here mowing the lawn!" "Well, you told him to have it done hun." Nel says getting up. "You're about to have a baby and he is outside doing chores!" Nel waves her hand and picks up her night bag. "We can argue about that later. Take me to the hospital now, please. Unless you want me to have the baby right here and now?" Nnoitra's face went pale. He saw what a natural birth at home looked like and he didn't want to face that at all. He dropped Tesra and rushed to Nel. In one fell scoop, he picked her up and ran to the car. "This house better be fucking spotless when I come back!" Nnoitra yelled towards Tesra.
Opening the door with his foot, he put Nel in and tossed the bag in the back. Slamming the door shut he jumped in the driving seat and took off speeding. Tesra frowned and sighs. "Yes sir…" He closed the door behind him and locked it. 'I can't believe he cares so much about her now…years ago she was just a piece of shit to him and now…' Tesra bit his lip and walked upstairs. He opened the door to Nel's and Nnoitra's bedroom. Walking over to the closet he opened it and grabbed one of Nnoitra's shirts. He sniffed it and sighs. "Master…" He felt tightness in his pants. "Um…we will make our visit short, but I wanted to ask if you and Ichigo could be the God Parents of our child." Orihime smiles. "Yes of course! We would love to! Aw, thank you!" Rukia smiled. "How are you doing?" "I'm good. We have another doctor's appointment tomorrow." "So do we." Rukia says patting her belly. "With the new addition coming, we were thinking about looking for a new house. Um…do you happen to have the number of the realtor you and Ichigo used?" Orihime nods. "Yes, hold on." She gets up and goes to the kitchen. She comes back moments later with a card. "Here you go. Just tell them that you got the number from us, and you can get a good discount." Rukia nods. "Thank you." Orihime's phone rings. She answers it. "Oh, hi Oichi!" She laughs. "Yes, I am on my way right now. Nel texted the group. Okay! Byee!" She hangs up. "Is Nel okay?" Rukia asked worriedly. "Oh yeah! She went into labor today." Rukia frowned. "I didn't get a text…" Renji sighs. "Rukia, you know Nel doesn't like you okay. Can we not go through this again?"
"Yes…your right." They stood up. "Orihime, may I ask a small favor…" Orihime stood up as well. "Sure." "I don't want to sound needy or anything, but I was really hoping that Oichi would um…throw me a baby shower. I was planning on asking if there was any way you could talk her into it, but I decided against it. So instead, I wanted to ask if you wanted to do a gender reveal? That way we can invite everyone?" Orihime smiles brightly. "Sure! I think that would be the cutest!" Rukia smiles. "Thank you. We should go. I wouldn't want you to miss Sophie being born." Renji took her hand and led her out. Orihime closed the door behind them and sighs. 'Oh Rukia…'
At the hospital, Nel was in a gown laying back as Uryu checked on her. Nnoitra held her hand. "Well? Is she going to come out now?" Nel chuckled. "That is not the way this works. Don't you remember?" "Oh…w-well yeah…" Uryu shakes his head. "You are almost ready Nel."
Oichi soon pulled up with Grayson and the twins. Grimmjow couldn't make it since he skipped out on work to remodel the room for Amanda and Shelia. He had expanded the room taking out the wall next to it. The room was larger now, with two separate beds for the girls. They shared a walk-in closet and the extra space that was leftover was made into a beautiful marble bathroom. The girls were thrilled and spent the last few days decorating their room with Grimmjow. Kendric was staying behind to spend some time with them. Oichi chuckled as she got out of the car. It seems Grimmjow had been enjoying the attention from the girls. He was probably going over all the ideas for when the twins get to that stage.
She opened the back door. "I help auntie!" Grayson says. "No honey, wait until I get you out first okay." "Dada!" Naomi says waving her hands. She had an action figure she took from Grayson. "Daddy isn't here honey. We are here to see your auntie Nel." "Dada!" Naomi screams with a frown. "Naomi honey do not yell okay. No tantrums today." Naomi pouts and threw a toy at Oichi, hitting her in the head. "DADA!" Naomi yells louder. "Ow…" Oichi says holding her head. She felt a cut on her forehead. Looking down at her fingers she frowned to see blood. She sighs until she heard Grayson gasps. "Auntie hurt! BAD SISSY! BAD!" He yelled. Naomi's eyes widen looking at Oichi and tears up. "Mama…" "It's okay sweetie. It's…" Naomi started to cry. "You bad! BAD SISSY!" Grayson says still yelling. Alisha seeing her sister cry and a mix of Grayson's yelling also started to make her cry.
Oichi sighs as people walked by the car giving her looks. She could feel her face grow red in embarrassment. Just then, Jess's car pulled up. She got out of the car with a smile. "Oichi!" Oichi turns to her. Jess's eyes widen and she rushed over to her. "Oichi your forehead! What happened!" She looked in the car to see the kids crying and yelling. She frowned. "QUIET!" She yelled. The twin's eyes widen and stops crying. Grayson was also shocked and stopped yelling. Jess grabbed Oichi's hand and opened the driver's door. She sat her down. "How did you get that cut?" She asked checking Oichi out. Oichi sighs. "Naomi threw a toy at me. She's calling for Grimmjow. I swear he has her spoiled so rotten. She doesn't even listen to me." Oichi starts to tear slightly.
"She's a baby Oichi. She's not going to always listen every time. When she is older, she will learn but it doesn't hurt to put a little base in your voice every now and then. Where is Grimmjow anyways?" "Work…he skipped out for a few days to help the girls with their room." Jess rolled her eyes. "What a load of bull. Come on, I'll help with the kids and get your head looked at. Oichi sniffs and nods. Naomi rubs her eyes. "Ma…" Jess turned to her. "Uh Uh! You're in time out." Naomi whimpers tearing up more.
Ichigo and Orihime pulled up with Kazui. They got out and spotted Jess and Oichi. "Hey, you two!" Orihime says as she walked over with Ichigo who was carrying Kazui. Walking closer they frowned seeing Oichi's head. "What happened!?" Orihime rushed over to her and checked her head. "Naomi just threw a toy at me. I'll be fine. It's a little cut." Jess sighs as she took Grayson out of his seat. He ran around the car and grabbed Oichi's leg. "Auntie hurt! Sissy bad!" "No, she isn't honey. She just misses her dad. That's all." Kazui frowned and Ichigo put him down. "Come on, let's get you looked up. Orihime, can you help Jess?" "Sure thing. Kazui be a big boy and grab the baby bag in the back, okay?" "Okay!" He says running to the back of the car. Ichigo took Oichi's hand and walked away with her. "Mama!" Naomi yelled. Jess picked her up. "No! Down! DOWN!" She screamed. "Naomi honey, calm down. Your mom isn't going far. Calm down." She says bouncing her. Orihime grabbed Alisha who tensed up in her arms. Orihime rubbed her back to calm her down. "She still doesn't like to be held by a lot of people. How cute." Orihime says laughing. Kazui grabbed the baby bag. "Bag ma!" "Good boy." Orihime says smiling.
Jess finally calmed Naomi down. "There, there, your mom is fine. It's okay." Orihime walked over. "I've never seen her act out before like this." Grayson picked up the action figure that was thrown at Oichi. "Auntie?" He held it up. "Maybe we shouldn't let her play with action figures anymore." Jess says. "Let's go inside. I'm gonna call Grimmjow."
They soon made it inside the waiting room. Grayson, Kazui, and Alisha were in the play area. Naomi was with Jess. She wanted to play with the others, but Jess wouldn't let her. She was on the phone with Grimmjow. "Is she alright!?" Grimmjow asked with worry. "Yes, Ichigo took her to get looked at. She had a cut on her forehead but nothing too serious. Though it looks like Naomi had a major tantrum. You might be spoiling her a little too much…" Grimmjow sighs and then groans out. "Alright…thanks for calling me." Jess's eyes widen just a bit. "Mmm…your welcome? Oh, I wanted to thank you for my shop. I've been so busy lately that I haven't stopped by." "No problem. Just don't cause trouble for my woman or I'll tear it down." Jess pouted and hung up on him. 'Just when I thought he was a good guy…such a jerk.'
Ichigo walked in with Oichi. She had a small bandage on her forehead. Naomi pushed away from Jess. "Mama!" Oichi smiled and picked her up. She snuggled into Oichi. "Looks like she knows she did a bad thing." Ichigo says sitting next to Orihime. Oichi sat down beside Jess. "You good?" "Yes, a small cut, nothing more." "I called Grimmjow, and I think he agrees that he may be spoiling her a little too much. I've never seen her act that way in public." Oichi sighs. "Yeah…it was quite embarrassing…people were staring like I couldn't handle them. I mean I couldn't but still…" "Your pregnant Oichi. Taking care of three toddlers. If you need some help you should have called me, and I would have given you a hand. Ulquiorra is staying home to watch Nova until I get back." "I'm sorry…I was more focused on getting here with Nel. I didn't think it was going to be that big of an issue." Jess rubbed her back. "Just know that you don't have to do everything alone okay?" Oichi nods.
In the back, Nel was pushing and pushing. She was covered in sweat. She was squeezing the life out of his Nnoitra's. "Dammit, woman…any tighter and you will break my damn hand!" Nel glared at him. "Well excuse me for having OUR BABY!" She screamed making him jump. "Focus Nel, come on, I can see the head. Push." Nel pushed and screamed out. "That's it. That's it. One more push. One more." Uryu says as tears ran down Nel's cheek. She did one last big push before she finally she heard crying. She fell back on the pillow panting. The nurse rubs her forehead with a damp cloth. Nnoitra's eyes widened looking at his daughter. She was so tiny.
Once Uryu cut the cord, he gave Sophie to the nurse. The nurse quickly cleaned her up and wrapped her in a pink bundle. Nel was in and out. "I…want to hold her…" She says softly. The nurse walked over to her and handed her Sophie. Nel smiled. "She's so cute…she has your hair Nnoitra…" She turns to him. Nnoitra was staring at Sophie. The shock was settling in. "This…is our daughter…" He says out loud. Nel smiles sweetly at him watching his expression soften. "Yes, our baby girl." She held Sophie up to him. "Watch her head when you hold her." Nel says as sleep started to close her eyes. Nnoitra looked down at Sophie. In his large hands, she seemed even smaller. He watched as she opened her eyes and look up at him. They were gray like Nel's. "Sophie…" He says. Uryu chuckled. "Go out and show the others. We will have to take her back to make sure she is healthy." Nnoitra nods as he walked out of the room.
In the waiting area. Grayson was laying on the playmat now looking at his tablet. Naomi was laying on top of him babbling to herself. Alisha was dozing off while Kazui played with some building blocks. Oichi yawns slightly which caused Orihime to yawn. Ichigo shook his head. "You both are going to start a chain reaction with all this yawning." "Oh shush." Oichi says. Tatsuki came rushing in, panting slightly with Noah in her arms. "D-Did I miss it!? How is Nel?" "No word yet." Oichi says. Tatsuki smiles and took a seat. Noah slide out her arms and went over to play with Kazui.
Nnoitra soon walked in holding the pink bundle. Oichi smiled. "Yay! Little Sophie is here!" Grayson's head pops up. "Sissy!" Naomi frowned as Grayson pushed her off. He ran to Nnoitra. "Sissy! Lemme see!" He yelled jumping up and down. Oichi got up. "Gray stop yelling." She looked back at Nnoitra. "How is Nel." "Uh…sleeping." He held Sophie out to Oichi nearly dropping her. Oichi gasps and took Sophie. "Nnoitra! Come on! She is just a baby. You can't just be holding her out like that. You have to be gentle. Didn't you go with Nel to those parent classes?" Nnoitra rubbed his head. "I did but they were so damn boring…" Oichi rolled her eyes. "Unbelievable…" She looked down to see Sophie staring up at her. "Aw. Hi there! I'm your auntie Ichi. Look how cute you are!" "I see! I see auntie!" Grayson says. Jess got up with a sigh. Oichi giggled and handed Sophie to Jess. She then bends down to Grayson. He smiled. "Oooo! She tiny!" Oichi chuckled. "Yup, just like you were sweetie." "HeeHee." Grayson pokes her cheek making her do a little smile. "Awww!" Jess and Oichi say. Ichigo shakes his head.
Once, Nnoitra took Sophie back, Tatsuki, Orihime, and Ichigo stayed behind to check on Nel. Jess headed back home and told Oichi to call her later so that they could plan the cook-out celebration. Tatsuki also wanted to talk to Jess about a job at her new coffee bar.
Hours passed and it was soon nighttime. At the hospital, Nelson was holding Sophie. She had a smile on her face as she rubbed Sophie's soft cheeks. "It's a wonder you came out looking like your father. Typical." The door opened and Nnoitra walked in with some food. Nel chuckled. "Your still here." Nnoitra frowned. "Of course, I am…weren't you the one who told me I couldn't leave." Nel smiles and looked down at her baby girl. "I'm sure a lot of people think you are going to leave me and Sophie. I don't think you will but still, it's a little thought in the back of my mind that one day, I'll open my eyes and you will be gone. We have a chance to be someone I wanted us to be. A family. Now that Aizen is no longer in the picture, and now that we have a daughter together, I hope that you would consider being with me permanently." Nnoitra's eyes widen. "Wait…are you really asking…" Nel turns to him, smiling sweetly at him. "Why don't we get married? You are free to say no of course and if you feel as you aren't ready then that is fine to. I am fine with waiting." Nnoitra bit his lip and sighs. "Being married to me…you don't think that is pushing that too far? Not a lot of your…friends…won't approve." Nel laughed. "Are you seriously worried about that? The Nnoitra I know doesn't care about everyone's thoughts. He is rude, straightforward, and violent. Why should you care about what my friends think?" Nnoitra bit his lip. "Oh, come on…you know I don't care but you care about your friends, and I know you don't want Sophie to grow up without friends or whatever…" Nel laughed more. "Oh man, I wish I had a video camera to record this. So do you want to get married or not?" Nnoitra leans back into his chair. "Fine, but I don't want no flashy wedding. I want to go to the courtroom with little people as possible." Nel nods. "Fine. I don't want anything big. I need to keep all my strength for Oichi's wedding anyway." She looked down and bounced Sophie. "Then once I get out of here and get Sophie all checked out, we can head to the courtroom with a few witnesses of course." "I suppose…" Nnoitra says with a sigh.
At the center, Toshiro was rushing to the main police station within the center, with Rangiku behind him. They had heard some startling news. Busting through the doors he went to the front desk. "Where is he!" Toshiro demanded. A man came around the corner and motion him to follow. The man led him to the integration room. "He is in here sir." The man opens the door. Toshiro and Rangiku walked in to see Starrk sitting there. He let out a yawn. "Well…it's about time someone got here. I was getting bored."
Toshiro walked up to the table. "Starrk Coyote former number one division…what are you doing here?" Starrk leans on his elbow. "Well, I had come back to join this silly motion to put Aizen away, but I knew that would fail. I wanted to stay hidden forever and just sleep in my nice cottage but…on some days I couldn't sleep. I had a weight on my shoulders and a troubling responsibility to those who worked under me." "What weight?" Toshiro asked. "You have Luppi in custody, right?" Toshiro nodded. "Good…I don't think you will be able to hold him with just want he did to Oichi especially when she is too traumatized to even look at him. She would get eaten alive on the stand." "Yes, we know…" "While I was away, I did some digging…well I had someone else do so I wouldn't be bothered. I stayed at Oichi's until it was done." He digs in his pocket and pulls out a flash drive. "This drive has a lot of things on Luppi, certain operations he had been doing before he took Grimmjow's spot. It also holds the evidence, proof…that he is the one who killed Barragan." Toshiro's eyes narrowed. "To be honest. I don't care about the other stuff." Starrk says.
He grew serious. His laid-back attitude disappeared as he sat up. "Barragan and I were not friends, but I consider him good company." He grips his fist. "No…there is no point of me denying it…I did see him as my friend. I respected the way he wanted to change our home. I liked that he wanted bright futures for his children even if his wife was bat shit crazy. I knew something was wrong that night…all I can see is the flames, the smoke from that explosion. I know knew Luppi had something to do with it, but I couldn't prove it. If you can't nail him for anything else, you better get him for that murder." Toshiro took the flash drive. "I understand. Will you testify? Yes, and if you can assure me a winning case, I might can converse the others to step up as well along with Oichi…he isn't Aizen, but this will ease the weight on my chest for now." Toshiro handed the drive to Rangiku. "Take it to the 12 division. Explain the situation." Rangiku nods and rushed out.
Toshiro turned back to Starrk. "Thank you for this. As you said this isn't the big fish, but we will take whatever victories we can get. Now, there is something I wish to ask you." The following week, Oichi was back at the doctors to find out the gender of her and Grimmjow's baby. They were sitting in the room waiting. Grimmjow sighs. "So, you want to take the twins to see the old fart?" Oichi nods. "Yeah, I see what Kensei was saying the other day. Even from a distance, he looks so sad. If the twins and I are the only family he has left, not including my dad, then I don't want him to feel lonely. Plus, I want to learn more about his relationship with my great granny. I never knew her, and Grandma Lily never talked about her. It may also give me some insight into what I should do about taking over the company one day?" "You're still thinking about that?" "It's not the first thing on my mind but I have decided that I want to take another class in business. Kensei is also helping me learn a lot about the center. Things are so deeper-rooted her maybe it is time for a fresh start." Grimmjow took her hand. "Whatever you decide to do, just know I'll be alongside you and fuck up anyone who stands in our way." Oichi smiles with a giggle. "And…on that note…I want us to start looking at a new place." "Really? But you just remodeled a room." "That is temporary. We need a bigger place if you just keep taking in more kids you know. Plus, I still want more of my own." He rubs her belly. "Three kids won't be enough for me." Oichi blushed. "Really…how big of a family do you want?" Grimmjow smirked.
The door opened and Uryu walked in. "Hey, sorry. I'm running a bit behind." "It's okay." Oichi says smiling. "Why don't you lay down so we can see the gender of your baby?" Oichi nods and leans back on the chair. Grimmjow stands beside her while Uryu pulls up her shirt. He hooks up the ultrasound and grabs his wand. Placing warm gel on her belly he started to move the wand around. The image of the baby popped up making Oichi smile. "Yay! Our baby!" Grimmjow chuckled. "Oh…well that was faster than I thought." Uryu says. "Looks like you're having a boy. Seems like this one won't be so stubborn like the twins." Oichi giggled. "A boy!" Grimmjow chuckled. "I was looking forward to having another girl but having another me running around doesn't sound too bad and it may even give Nel a heart attack." Oichi and Uryu chuckled. "Just think about Grayson. He is your clone already. Now we have another one." Oichi says with a smile. Grimmjow shrugs and kissed her cheek. "I guess next time we try for a girl." Uryu shook his head and took pictures. "Alright, your next checkup is next month. Don't be late." Oichi nods as he cleaned her belly off. Grimmjow helped her off the bed and grabbed the pictures from Uryu. "Let's go! Today is Jess's grand opening of her coffee bar! I can't wait to finally see it!" Grimmjow nods taking her hand.
In town, Jess's bar was half-packed. She had hired Tatsuki as a barista along with herself. When Ulquiorra got off from working at Grimmjow's company he would come and work as well. To Jess's surprise, he was very good at making coffee, and thanks to his great ability to crunch numbers their prices were cheap but didn't ground them into a hole.
At the bar, Jess smiled as she handed a customer one of her coffee desserts called galaxy parfait. They came in a box of 12 each. "That will be 15.75. Will that be all for you today?" The customer smiles. "No. Thank you! Wow, I thought it would be more." Jess smiled. "Have a great day! Thank you for choosing Aroma Café!" The customer walked away with an excited look on her face. Tatsuki walked over. "Looks like we are doing good so far." Jess nods and looked around. It wasn't full but the fact that she had customers made her very happy. They all looked happy and were enjoying her handmade coffee and treats. "HeeHee. I hope Oichi makes it."
Down the road, Oichi was on the phone with Kensei. "Yeah, I'm having a boy." She says looking at her ultrasound. "Really now, congratulations." "Thank you, but I am calling you about what we talked about last time? With the twins?" "Oh? You want me to set something up with you and Yamamoto?" "Yes, I'm on my way to Jess's new coffee bar right now but I talked with Grim and we both agree that the twins should at least meet him." "Alright, I'll talk to Jushiro and see what we can do." "Okay! Thanks so much!" "Yeah. Later." She hangs up.
"I don't like the way you sound so happy to talk to him." Grimmjow says with a scowl on his face. Oichi turns her head. "Eh? You sound jealous honey?" "I'm jealous of any man who looks at my wife the way he does. Keep your distance from him." Oichi sighs. "It's not like that. We have a professional relationship and that is it but to ease your worries I will keep my distance." Grimmjow nods. "Tomorrow, I'll be working later hours. Do you mind picking the twins up from daycare?" Oichi nods. "Of course, honey. I can even bring them to work." "Don't push yourself too much." Grimmjow says. "I will be careful." Oichi's eyes lit up. "Wow! Looks like she has customers already!"
Grimmjow drove on the side and parked in the small parking lot. They got out and walked to the front of the store hand in hand. Oichi reached out to grab the door when it swung up wildly. Grimmjow pulled her back quickly, avoiding the door. He growled as a young man with short blonde hair walked out. He was carrying a coffee and playing a video game with one hand. "Hey, brat! Watch where the hell you're going!" Grimmjow snapped. The young man glanced up for a second and then went back to his game. He walked off not saying a word. Grimmjow glared at him until Oichi tugged his arm. "Don't worry about it, dear. Let's go inside." He narrowed his eyes but calmed down. "Okay…"
They walked inside. "Whoa! You really did outdid yourself, honey! It's beautiful in here!" Grimmjow chuckled. He enjoyed being praised for his work. "Oichi!" Oichi saw Jess power walking over to her. She was wearing a light brown shirt with black pants and flats. She had an apron over her shirt that had the bar's name on it. Her hair was in a low ponytail. "Yay, you made it!" They hugged each other. When Jess let go Oichi held up the ultrasound. Jess took it. "Aw, you're having a boy. Let's hope he doesn't turn out like his jerk ward daddy." "Hey. Watch it. I can teach my son to not like you." Jess huffed out. "Jerk." "Yeah, but who was the jerk that built this little bar for you." Jess bit her lip. "Oh, so you plan on holding that over my head?" "You know it." Grimmjow says smirking very confidently.
"Okay, you two! The baby and I would like something sweet to eat." Jess shot a quick glare at Grimmjow before locking arms with Oichi and pulling her away. He chuckled in victory before following them. Oichi sat at the bar section and Jess went around to fix her something. Grimmjow sat down beside her. "Mmm…this would make a cute hang-out spot." "I suppose. I do miss the café though. Where we meet." Oichi smiled and took his hand. "Who would have thought we'd come this far?" Grimmjow kissed the back of her hand. "I'm glad I stole you away." She giggled and they shared a kiss.
Jess turned around. "Okay love boats. I have the perfect drink for you two to try. Honey cinnamon ice latte!" She placed down two jars of ice coffee with a straw in them. Oichi took a sip and her eyes lit up. "Mmm! Oh my! It's so good! The straw is a gram cracker!" Jess smiled brightly as Oichi sips on her coffee more. She then turned to Grimmjow who sipped his without the straw. "Not bad but I prefer some Jack Daniels in my coffee." Jess rolled her eyes. "You're driving so I won't be serving you that." "Ah! But that means you have some. Ulquiorra has a stock somewhere." "You are unbelievable. I'll get you something to eat Oichi." She says walking away. Oichi chuckled. "One day she really is going to knock you through a wall." "Meh at this point it's worth it."
The next day on the 21st, Oichi was pulling up to work. She took a deep breath and turned around to see the twins in the back seat. They were wearing matching blue dresses with Naomi were black sandals and Alisha wearing white. Today they were having lunch with Yamamoto in his office. She was nervous about how it would go. She got out of the car right as Kensei walked up. "Hey." She smiles. "Hi, Kensei. Are you coming to help me?" "Yeah, I can't let you do this by yourself." "You can always send Hisagi or someone else. You shouldn't ignore your duties because of me." "I'm not besides you are my secretary. You have been helping me out with the paperwork on top of other things." He walked to the truck and pops it open. Grabbing the double strollers for the twins.
Oichi opened the back doors and took the girls out of their car seats. Once Kensei got the stroller to outstretch, Oichi placed the twins in it and their baby bag in the section behind them. "There. So, what time should I go meet him?" "Your usual lunchtime. He will be expecting you and Jushiro said he will be there as well. He thinks it would make you more comfortable if you had a more familiar presence there." She nods. "Yeah, that eases my nerves a bit. Thank you for doing this for me." Kensei nods, ignoring the rapid heartbeat in his chest. Oichi started to push the stroller into the building. "So, I got your results back from your application for business class. You have been accepted and the class starts in August. You can do the classes online." "Great! I think this is a good option for me." "I agree. It is a great opportunity. Even if you don't take the seat after the old man, you can still help with the center in other areas. So I say we can focus on that part for now." Oichi nods.
At Aroma's, Rangiku, Momo, Kira, Yumichika, and Iba were sitting together having coffee. "Mmmm. That hit the spot." Yumichika says. Rangiku lets out a sigh. "I agree! This is such a cute spot and it's run by Jess under Oichi! So, we get discounts!" Momo laughs. "I like the atmosphere of this place. It is way better than the café when Luppi was running things." Kira shook his head. "I don't know what he was doing but he was definitely not running things." Iba sips on his coffee. "How he got control of that café I will never know. He was ill-fit to run that and look what happened to it. It came crumbling down." Yumichika nods. "Yup, and to think that little café was supposed to bring everyone together."
Momo leans back. "It was going well. It was on the border of both the town and everyone got along. The uppers thought, once it went well, we could expand it, make it bigger. It would have become the first building where the citizens of this town and Hueco mondo would work together. I just don't understand why it all came crashing down." Rangiku rolled her eyes. "The center has its secrets. In the end, they were just using us and Oichi to get what they wanted. They expected her to fold under the pressure, but she didn't. It must have ruffled their feathers a bit and Luppi just happen to be a great fall guy."
Kira frowned. "Did he though? He ended up losing the job and blaming Oichi for his shortcomings. He even took her and hurt her. It's a good thing he got caught." "Speaking of that I heard they finally started to put the case together." Momo says. Rangiku nods. "Starrk willingly came to the station. He had taken one of Oichi's guest pass and just waltz into the center. Of course, once our people recognized him, they quickly took him to the station. He wants Luppi put away for good." "Has there been any word on Aizen?" Iba asked. Momo sighs. "No. There is no trace of him at all. Even the files that were recovered shed no light. We still don't know what he was truly planning and now that Lexton has taken over the land, the building is being demolished and rebuilt into something else." She looks down at her coffee. "I wish things would have ended differently…" Rangiku rubs her back. "I know but we can't change how things are. Aizen choose the path he walked on and so did you. We will find him and bring him in for everything he has done." Momo smiled and nods.
Rangiku smiles back. "How about we change the subject. How is the baby-making going?" Momo's face turned bright red. "What?! Rangiku! Don't say that out loud!" Kira chuckled. "Why not, we already know that you and Toshiro have been trying." Momo rubbed her cheeks. "This is personal!" Yumichika laughs. "How cute. Don't worry you will be walking around with a pregnant belly soon. I heard that Toshiro has quite a big stamina bar. That must be why you look so tired all the time?" Momo groans and covers her face with her hands. Iba chuckles softly. "How good it is to be young." Momo pouts. "We need to get to work! I can't bear this conversation anymore!"
In a separate apartment complex near the mall, Riruka was just opening her eyes in her one-bedroom apartment. She yawns softly and sat up. When she did, she felt an arm fall down her side. She blinks, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Her body was a bit sore. Turning over her eyes widen to see Ben lying beside her sleeping. Her face turned red and then realized that they were both naked in her bed. Her heart started to beat fast, and her body reacted quickly. Trying to get up she ended up falling out the bed. Ben's eyes opened and he sat up to yawn. He leans over to see Riruka laying on the floor, naked. He chuckled. "You good babe?" She sat up. "B-Babe!? W-What are you doing in my bed! Where are your clothes!" Ben raised his eyebrow and sighs. "Are we really going to go through this again? I hope this won't be a habit. Even though it's cute every time." He reached his hand down. She frowned and took it. He helped her back into bed.
"Don't you remember? I came over here and asked if I could stay with you for a while?" "Oh y-yeah…sorry. I'm still not use to waking up with someone in my bed." Ben pulled her close. "I understand, we did do a lot of drinking last night so I blame that too." "We went drinking?" Ben laughs. "Yes, we went to the bar with Izzy and Yoshiro. You two had a drinking contest and then you both passed out. I brought you back home and you were hornier than a toad. I gotta say I really liked that side of you." Riruka blushed as she started remembering pieces of what happened last night. "Oh no…" Ben nuzzled her cheek with his nose. "It's fine babe. As a couple, we should be able to experience each other's weaknesses sometimes." "Couple?" She asked looking at him. "Yeah, I mean I wouldn't be sleeping with you back-to-back if we weren't a couple." He rubbed her cheek. "I really like you Riruka." "You do…" "Mmhm." He kissed her softly. He pulled back and smirked at her red face. He licked his lips. "You got work today?" She shook her head. "Good." He quickly gets on top of her and pins her hands over her head, making her squeak. "I think I might ravish you all day today." "W-What? No! You don't have to do that! I might have stuff to d-…" She was cut off by a deep kiss.
He released her lips and started to kiss at her collarbone. Riruka trembled, feeling his soft lips on her skin. She felt a rising flame within her. He chuckles. "I want to taste every bit of you." She placed a hand on the back of his head as he led a trail of kisses across her body, moving from her chest to her stomach, and her hips. She moans softly feeling his hot breath against her womanly hood. "B-Ben…" Her hands run through his hair as her body goes through waves of pleasure. She tosses her head back feeling that flame reaching its boiling point. "Oh, Ben!" She cries out as the feeling exploded. She pants, seeing stars. Ben licks his lips. "Riruka…you're so beautiful." She turns his head. "S-Shut up…" He crawls back up and kisses her neck. "I want you." She bit her lip with a red face. "Then take me idiot…not like I'm going anywhere."
Ben kissed her passionately as he pushed inside her. Their bodies were in sync, rocking against each other. The heat building up inside of them started to rise. Sweat started to roll down Ben's back. He broke the kiss linked his hands with her. Pushing her hands up to the top of the bed he pins them down with one hand. With his now freed hand, he grabbed her right leg and held it up, placing it over his shoulder, getting a deeper position. "Ben…so deep…mmm!" Their movements got faster; moans got louder as they both got lost in pleasure.
Outside the bedroom door though, Izzy was standing outside with a tray of pancakes and juice for them. Her face with red listening in. Yoshiro yawns as he walks up, scratching his head. "Izzy what are you…" "Shh!" She motions him to come to the door. He walked up and listen in. "Oh, Ben! Yes! Right there!" Riruka cried out. Yoshiro covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing. "Seems like they forgot we were here. Maybe we should head out?" Izzy nods. "Yeah…but I'm going to tease her about this at work later." They laughed quietly and tiptoe from the door.
In town, Yuzu and Karin were grocery shopping for dinner tonight. Yuzu sighs, tonight she was going to bring Jinta over to meet her dad, but she was nervous. Karin tossed some meat in the buggy. "Don't be so nervous sis. Things will work out fine. Even if dad doesn't like him, he can't stop you from dating him." "I know but, I want dad to accept him. I really like Jinta, and he is really sweet to me." "Yea I get that, but you shouldn't take what that dumbass old man seriously. Remember when Ichigo and Orihime finally started dating? He was all over Ichigo until he popped out a grandkid. Dad will be dad after all." Yuzu smiles. "I guess so…are you going to tell dad about…" "No, no way. I don't even know what is going on between me and him. He is always playing video games. Not that I mind." "When am I going to meet this mystery boy? It's not fair you know. I told you about me and Jinta." "Yeah, like weeks after that, and I wasn't even the first to know. Izzy was!" Yuzu blushed. "It's only because she caught his kissing…" "Something you shouldn't be doing at work. Even Izzy and Yoshiro control themselves and you know how those horn dogs are." Yuzu sighs. "Can I at least know his name?" "Nope, because you're going to go ask Ichigo to look into it." Yuzu pouted. "You are so mean! Then at least let me be the first to know when you finally decide to tell someone!" "I'll think about it." Karin says tossing a bag of chips in the buggy. "What do you even plan to make for dinner?" "Something simple. A beef stew should be good with some soft bread rolls. We can pick up something special for dad and Ichigo! Oh, and I need to make something sweet for Orihime and Kazui!" "Don't spoil them too much." Karin says shaking her head.
As lunchtime rolled around. Oichi was pushing the stroller with the twins to Yamamoto's quarters. Reaching the 1st division doors, she was greeted by Jushiro who was holding a basket. "Oichi! Hello there!" "Hi, Jushiro. Thank you for coming with me." "It's no trouble. I feel like I did you very wrong and this would help make up for it." Oichi smiled and saw the basket. "What's with the basket?" "Oh! Some snacks and toys for the girls! In case they get bored." Oichi giggled slightly. "How cute. I do adore the way you love children."
Jushiro led Oichi in and they went to Yamamoto's private office together. Getting closer Oichi could smell something delicious. "Mmmm…something smells yummy." Jushiro smiled and opened the door to Yamamoto's office. There was no one inside. Oichi blinks. "Um…" "Just come with me." Jushiro says walking over to the side. He pushed up on the wall that opened a secret passage. He steps to the side. "In here." Oichi takes a deep breath and walks into the opening and the smell of seafood hit her nose. She had to stop herself from drooling as there was a table set up with fresh seafood. Crab, lobster tail, shrimp, muscle, oysters, and so on. Jushiro laughed walking in behind her. "Seems like he went all out." A path in the wall opened and Yamamoto walked out, and his eyes opened slightly. He looked at Oichi and down at the twins who were looking around. "Welcome…" He says. Oichi felt a little embarrassed. "T-Thank you…" There was an awkward silence. "Help yourself to some lunch. Whatever you cannot finish I can have sent to your home." "Oh! Thank you!" Oichi says. She grabbed the bag from behind the stroller. "Jushiro, can you help me?" "Sure thing."
Oichi opened the bag and pulled out a play mat for the girls. Jushiro took it and spreads it out on the floor. He then took the girls out of the stroller and sat them on the mat. Smiling brightly, he opens the basket and pulled out a few toys. The girls smiled. Naomi grabbed a rattle. "Oooo!" She started shaking it rapidly. Alisha grabbed a doll and hugged it. "Mmm!" Jushiro laughs. "How adorable!" Yamamoto walked over and sat at a small table and looked at the twins. Oichi made her way over to the seafood table. She gulps as she grabbed a plate. 'Don't be fat Oichi. Get enough to satisfy your needs. This is no time to eat yourself into a food coma…' She tells herself. However, unknown to her, she had already made two plates of food. She blinks and drops her head. "I'm so fat…" "Nonsense…you are pregnant, if you are anything like Jenny then this should be more than enough to fill you up." "Anything like who?" Oichi asked turning around. "Come sit." He says. Oichi walked over with the plates and sat at the table. There were napkins and two glasses on the table. "Your great grandmother Jenny…" "Dad's grandma?" Oichi asked. Yamamoto nods.
Jushiro sat on the couch watching as the twins played. It would be a matter of moments before they realized Oichi was eating something. Oichi pops open a crab leg and eats the meat inside. She wanted some butter, but she didn't want to push it. "C-Can you tell me more about her?" Yamamoto takes a deep breath. "I can…" He looks down and then looks back up at her. "Jenny…was a smart and reliable woman. She always worked with a smile on her face. Always, thinking of others without thinking about herself. She was gentle towards everyone, friend or foe. Back then…I had to make choices that would normally destroy someone's mental capability but when I was with Jenny…she made everything float away. She was the ray of sunshine I wanted…needed…in my life at that time." "She sounds sweet…" Oichi says opening an oyster.
"Indeed…she was my heart and the day she left hurt me." "Why did she leave?" Oichi asked. "She was with child, my child, and to prevent my foes from doing me harm she thought she would be a weakness and decided to leave and hid herself and our child. At first, I thought my peers were right. Jenny was not a noble or anything special to most people. She was a normal typical woman who was average in her daily work but to me she was special. Once I started my command over this center, My peers would tell me over and over that she only wants fame and money from me but I knew Jenny. She wanted nothing more than a family of her own."
Oichi frowned. "She didn't have a family?" Yamamoto shook his head. "No, she was an orphan. She worked hard ever since she could remember. I don't remember a time where I didn't see her working. She desired one thing in this life and that was a family and if I couldn't do anything else for her, I wanted to give her that." Oichi lets out a small sigh. "So, when she found out she was carrying my grandpa. She must have been so happy and scared. Happy that she could start a family with you but scared that it would hurt you in the long run?" "Yes, so she left…" "Does my dad know this?" "No, he believes that I took Jen by force and then cast her out when I was done with her. He has become a pillar of hatred for me, and I do not think anything I can say will change his mind."
Oichi rubbed her chin. "That day…when you beat him up…" "He was blackmailing me about the information. With his version, people would think I really did take advantage of her. I couldn't let that happen. I loved Jen with all my heart and soul, and I wanted nothing more than to find her and bring her back. I wanted to tell her that I would protect her and our son. I would have done anything for her…" Oichi frowned. "That's…so sweet…when she left how did you find out about my grandpa Anthony?" "Mmmm…."
"Ma!" Oichi looked down to see the twins and walked over to her with shining eyes. Drooling at a large amount of food on her plate. Oichi chuckled. "Looks like you two are hungry." Jushiro walked over with a plate. "I was making them a small plate of foods they would be able to eat." "Thank you." She looked over at Yamamoto. "Um…would you like to hold one of the twins?" Yamamoto was silent and it made Oichi a little uneasy. Jushiro shook his head and picked up Alisha who gasps. "Come now sir, you have to get use to your grands sooner than later. Yamamoto looked at Alisha who was whimpering in Jushiro's hold. "You are scaring her. Hand her over." Jushiro chuckled and hands Alisha over to him. "Ma…" She says tearing up. Jushiro placed a plate of food in front of Yamamoto. He cut and picked up a small piece of crab meat with a spoon and held it up to Alisha. She looked up at him. "Do not be afraid young one." Alisha looked back at the spoon and opened her mouth. He smiled softly and feed her the meat. She chewed with a hum. He felt her relax in his arms. "There you go. Good girl." Oichi smiled. Jushiro sat at the table and picked up Naomi. He fed her as well. "I think this is going nicely. You two should do this more often." Oichi nods. "Yes, I think I would like that. I didn't know my great granny…grandma lily told me that she passed away when grandpa was a teenager. So, she didn't know too much about her either since they met when he was traveling. Then after they got married and had dad, my aunts, and uncle. He passed…in an accident, so I never got to meet him at all. I heard he was super smart and nice. He was funny and he could make people laugh and feel good about themselves." Yamamoto let out a chuckle. "It sounds like Jen's son through and through."
"I apologize that I sprung this news on you at the meeting. However, I still want you to take over the company when I retire." Oichi frowned. "Sir…um…grandpa…? I don't think that would be good." Jushiro had to hold back a laugh from seeing a twinkle of happiness from Yamamoto from being called grandpa. "I don't know anything about running this place. I haven't even been working here for that long to claim that I do. Sure, I'm your blood but I think it would be a rash Idea to give your life's work to someone like me…" Yamamoto hums as he fed Alisha. "That may be true, but I have watched you while you were overseeing your divisions. You helped others with their own divisions as well. You have a talent for this and I don't want to see you waste it. If it is knowledge and training you need then so be it but, I would feel rather grateful if this center was run by my bloodline." Oichi nibbles on a piece of shrimp. "I understand how you feel. I do. But…how do I know you won't be using me as the last time. I'll go through so much crap because you used me to bring my dad out. If I were to take this spot who is to say it is just another setup for me to take the fall. I don't want that. I've rebuilt my life and have a family I want to support." "I would never ask for you to sacrifice your family life for this…" "But that is exactly what your asking. You want me to take over but that means I would have to learn everything about this place, learn about the divisions, the people who led it, take up classes to help me understand how the place ticks, and much more. I am sorry but you are asking the impossible of me. I just cannot see how this is not a setup. Should I take your place, my dad will come out of hiding. You know that and I know so we don't have to pretend that he isn't. With me in charge, you think I will just willingly give him whatever he wants and then you and your people will just swoop in, capture him, send him away, and then toss me aside to where I once again have nothing!"
Oichi grips her fork. "You are asking too much from me…" There was silence in between them. Yamamoto sighs. "I understand. Then for me to move this conversation further I must regain your trust. I am willing to do that if you are willing to accept that I am trying." Oichi looks at him. "I will accept that you are trying but, I don't want to hear you saying that I want to see it. Even it's just little things." Jushiro held up a piece of crab meat and Naomi took it. She giggled and started munching on it. "I think, every now and then you should shadow Yamamoto." They looked at him. "You can get to see how he works, get an idea of the bigger picture here. We knew this was a big gamble and we know you aren't ready for this yet, so we have already chosen someone else to take his place once he retired however, it is only a temporary move until you fully decide that you do not want this position. Jushiro laughs. "Is that how it is. Then I see no reason why you shouldn't shadow him for a few days. Just to see what it's like." He looked at Yamamoto. "How about you sir. Will that work for you?" "Yes, I look forward to it." Oichi sighs mentally. 'What have I gotten myself into.'
After lunch, as he stated, whatever food Oichi didn't eat was sent back to her home. Oichi was sitting in her office a bit lost in her thoughts. The twins were napping on their play mat. 'Do I really want to take over the center one day…sure I could use some changes and may it would be better if a new face appeared, but would I be accepted for the role.' She groans. "Why am I even thinking about this. Of course, there is no way to make everyone happy. No matter what I do or say." There was a knock on the door. "Come in." She says. The door opened and Renji walks in. "Renji…what can I do for you?" He smiles and walks in. "Got some orders from the boss. He wants you to make these for him." He handed her the papers and she looked through them. "Aw, he wants me to make a unicorn outfit?" "Yeah, Ichika might like unicorns now. I'm not sure. She is getting picky these days." "How cute."
"So how are you feeling these days?" Renji asked looking at the girls. "Good. Found out I will be having a boy." Renji smiles. "A boy huh. Think he will be like Grayson and Grimmjow?" "I have no clue. It worried me a bit but I'm sure he will be more watered down. Hopefully." Renji chuckled. "Well, I'll let you get to work. I was asked to check on the process at the end of the week." "Mmm…Renji?" "Yea?" "I would like to ask a question." He frowned. "Okay?" "Don't worry its nothing about our past together. If…I was to be put in charge of the center. How would you feel?" Renji hums out. "If you were a spiteful, vengeful, crazy person, I would say I would fear for both my life and job." Oichi rolled her eyes. "But since you aren't, I think if you were placed in just a high position, I think I would feel proud. You would make some good changes here. Just look what you did to this failing fashion thing here. You rebuilt it and got it running. You also got people to stop talking down about this division. Sure, you didn't run it the way you were supposed to but, you worked with the tools you had and ran with it without question. I think you would be a good change to the center. Why do you ask? Are you trying to go for that position?"
"No, no…I was just thinking about stuff." She says with a sigh. "Mmm…Oichi, I know we had a rocky path and I am thankful that you forgave me but, if you ever need anyone to talk to, I am still here you know." "Thanks, but I'll pass." Renji sighs. "Alright, just remember that you have to talk to someone. Don't hold it in." He says leaving. Oichi runs her fingers through her hair. 'What to do…what to do…'
Hours passed and soon it was nighttime. It was pushing 8 pm at the Kurosaki residence Yuzu was cooking a grand feast. Isshin was upstairs taking a shower. He had just gotten off of work. Karin was setting up the table. There was a knock on the door. "Oh, that must be Ichigo!" Yuzu says smiling. Karin walks to the door and opens it. Ichigo, Orihime, and Kazui. "Auntie!" Kazui jumps up and hugs Karin. She chuckled and picked him up. "Hey, you troublemaker." "Where is the old man?" "Shower," Karin says walking to the kitchen. Orihime sniffs. "Mmm! It smells really good in here!" They walked into the kitchen behind Karin. Ichigo rubbed his head. "Isn't this a little too much?" "Maybe, but if we can get dad into a food coma maybe the shock of the news won't hurt so much." Karin says. She put Kazui in his booster seat. Orihime took her jacket off. "This looks amazing Yuzu." Yuzu smiles. "Thank you. I made everyone's favorite and got dad a bottle of Sake."
"I like the sound of that!" They heard Isshin says walking downstairs. "Woo! I need that shower." His eyes gleamed at Ichigo. "Ichigo!" He jumps up with a flying kick. Ichigo ducks down and watched him crash into the wall. "How…disrespectful!" He yells pulling himself off the wall. "How dare you dodge that kick! You ungrateful son!" "What the hell!? Why would I let you kick me in the face you stupid old fart!" Kazui laughed clapping his hands. "See! My adorable grandson agrees with me!" Isshin says proudly. "Don't try to teach my son your idiocy ways." Ichigo says sitting down. Isshin walked over to Orihime. "And look here! Your beautiful wife is giving birth to another darling grandchild." He starts to cry. "I can't believe my idiot son was able to marry such a beauty like Orihime! I always thought he would die alone. A virgin. A lonely crazy person!" "Hey! Cut that out!" Ichigo yells. Orihime laughs. "It is very nice to see you too as well Isshin. Let's have a wonderful dinner together."
Yuzu sat the final dish down and they sat together at the table. "So, I gotta ask. Why the sudden dinner bash?" Isshin asked grabbing the sake. "Oh well, it's been a while since we had a family dinner together." Karin says. Yuzu gave a nervous smile until the doorbell rings. The room goes silent. Isshin blinks. "Are we expecting someone else?" Karin glances at Yuzu who gulps. "I'll get it." She says getting up and rushing to the door." Orihime sat a small plate on Kazui's plate. She looked at Ichigo while he just shakes his head.
At the door, Yuzu takes a deep breath and opens the door with a smile. "Jinta!" Jinta smiles. He was wearing a black shirt with camo pants and black shoes. "Hey, am I early?" "A little but that is fine." Jinta sighs. "I um…I didn't know what to wear. I don't have a lot of nice clothes s-so…" "You will be fine. Just relax. I made your favorite!" She grabbed his hand and led him inside. She peaks around the corner and then walked out. "D-Dad." "Yes, my daughter?" He asked stuffing his mouth with a steak. "U-Um. I brought a guest." "Oh? A classmate! Finally! I have been dying to meet your friends so I can show them what a cool dad I am!" Karin gagged, making Ichigo chuckle. Yuzu rubbed her head as Jinta walked around her. "H-Hello Mr. Kurosaki." Isshin stopped eating. "Honey…this is your friend correct?" Yuzu chuckled nervously. "N-No quite." She grabbed Jinta's hand blushing. "He…He's my boyfriend."
Isshin's eye twitched and he squeezed his cup so hard it nearly shattered. "Did you say…boyfriend?" Yuzu nods. "Jinta and I have been dating for a while and I wanted to properly introduce you to him." Jinta gulps looking at Isshin. There was silence in the kitchen. Ichigo and Orihime looked at Isshin. Karin had her arms crossed. Isshin bit his lip and shook. He stood up and tears started to burst out of his eyes. Kazui dropped his fork in surprise. "Pop?" "Nooo! Not my sweet Yuzu!" He ran over to Yuzu with his arms wide open. Jinta jumped and pulled Yuzu close to him and stuck his foot out tripping Isshin. He landed flat on his face. Kazui started to laugh loudly pointing at Isshin. Ichigo grins. "Hell yeah. Welcome to the family Jinta." Jinta rubbed his head. "Sorry…it was on reflect." "Nonsense! Come sit and eat! I would love to hear how this happened." Orihime says. Yuzu smiled and kissed Jinta on the cheek. She pulled him to the seat next to Karin. Isshin twitched on the floor still in tears. "Masaki! Your baby girl is growing up to fast! Noooo! She's still our baby girl!" He yells throwing a tantrum on the floor. Jinta blinks. "Is that normal?" "Yep." The family says together. "Just ignore him and he will stop once he doesn't have enough attention," Ichigo says cleaning Kazui's mouth.
At Nel's, she was putting Sophie down to sleep. She rubbed Sophie's head and turned on a night light. She made sure the baby monitor was on before closing the door. Walking to Grayson's room she peaks in and saw him on his tablet, hiding under the blanket. She chuckled and walked over. "Grayson honey it's time for bed." Grayson pops up with a gasp. "Aw!" She chuckled and took his tablet. "Not sleepy." He says pouting. A few seconds later he yawns. "Uh-huh. Sure, your not. Come on lay down and I'll tuck you in." Grayson lays on his pillow and holds his blue beetle plushie. "You have baby mama?" "I already had Sophie honey." "Belly big? You fat now?" Nel rolled her eyes. "Just like your father. "My belly will shrink back down okay. Now time for bed."
When Grayson was fast asleep, Nel went to her room and crawled into her bed. Nnoitra was out somewhere but he called to check in 10 minutes ago. She picked up her phone and dialed Oichi's number. It rings four times before she answers. "Hey Nel, what's up." "Hey, did I interrupt?" "Oh no, we just got done with dinner. How is Sophie doing?" "Oh, she is fine. She cries when she is hungry and cries when she is sleeping but…Nnoitra hasn't held her since we came home from the hospital. Said something about how you tore into him when he almost dropped her?" "What? No…well…kinda? I didn't snap at him. I told him to be careful how he passes a baby. I did not bite his head off." Nel laughed. "I figured as much. I think he sees her as a fragile piece of glass. Oh but that isn't what I want to call you for." "Oh? Okay? What is it?" Nel took a deep breath. "Me and Nnoitra are getting married. There was a pause then a sound of a crash. "Hello? Oichi!?" "Babe! You okay!?" She heard Grimmjow say in the background. "You're getting married to him!?" Oichi suddenly shouted.
Nel rubbed her head. "I know you don't approve but yes, I am marrying him, we are doing a simple courthouse thing. Nothing too big but we need witnesses so I want you to be there. Please?" "O-Of course. Are…you sure about this Nel? I'm not trying to be rude but he doesn't seem like the marriage life type of guy?" "I know but I think having Sophie changed him and I want to give him another chance just like you did for Grimmjow and I would really, really, love if my best friend was here for me?" She heard a sigh. "Okay, Nel. Okay, I will be there. I want you to be happy and if he makes you happy then so be it." Nel smiles brightly. "Thank you so much Oichi. I love you! I will send you the date okay!" "Okay, Nel. Congratulations." Nel hangs up and falls back on the bed. "Well…that went easier than I thought. I was for sure she was going to try every trick in the book to tell me this was a bad idea." She slips under the blanket. "Haaa! But she is too adorably sweet to do that! hee hee." She yawns herself and sends a quick text to Nnoitra that she was going to bed. She placed her phone on the charger and, turned out the lights, and went to sleep.
Outside her door, Tesra bit his lip. 'I cannot believe this…this…this cannot be happening…' He grips his hands and goes to Sophie's room. He opened the door and closed it behind him leaving a crack. He walks over to her crib and looks down at her. "Why…Why…out of all the people why her. I could accept it if it was someone else. That way you would get bored and move on and come back to me but this…Nel…I cannot accept it. I will not accept it!" He grabbed a pillow and hovered it over Sophie's face. Tears came to the corner of his eyes. His shoulders shook. 'You can't be allowed to live.' He lowers the pillow when he noticed Sophie's eyes were open. He moved the pillow to see that she was awake and looking up at him. She smiled up at him with her eyes growing big and wide, sparkling even. His eyes widen as something sparked in his chest.
Sophie wiggled a bit trying to free her arm from the sheet she was under. Tesra put the pillow down and moved the sheet back. "W-Were you uncomfortable?" She grabbed his finger and held it and kicked her feet a bit in excitement. "You are…kinda cute…and you do look a lot like the master…" He gulps and reaches down to pick her up. "And…your tiny." He rocked her a bit and smiled when she yawned. He rubbed her cheeks. "So soft…" He then gasps and shook his head. "What did I come in here for again?" Sophie closes her eyes falling asleep. His smile grew bigger and placed her back into her crib. He pulled the blanket back over her and sighs.
"Tesra." He jumped and turned around to see Nnoitra standing in the doorway. "Nnoitra sir…" Nnoitra walked up to him. "Welcome home sir. How was you…" Nnoitra grabbed him by the neck and lifted him off his feet. Tesra gasps for air. Nnoitra looked into the crib to see Sophie fast asleep. Walking over to the corner he lifted Tesra up. "You see that flashing red light in the corner?" Tesra eyes turned to the corner. A red light beeps every 10 seconds or so. "That is a recorder…I have eyes on every single room in this place." Tesra blood rain cold. "So…my question is…if I look at the footage in my office, will I see you bringing harm to my daughter?" Tesra shook. "F-Forgive me, sir…I was angry…" Nnoitra carries him out of the room and closed the door. He walked downstairs and walked through the living room entering the right side of the house where Tesra's room was located.
Nnoitra kicked to door open and threw him into the room. His back hit the wall hard making him shake. "Explain before I kill you." Nnoitra says coldly. "I just don't understand! I don't know why you have changed!" Tesra yells. "You never showed any interest in Nel! You hate her! She looked down on you and challenge you and you reign supreme over her! Now…Now you're here and not only you had a child with her you are getting married!? WHY!? Why after all we have been through!"
"It was one damn night!" Nnoitra yelled. "I don't have any feelings for you, get that through your thick skull before I spilt it open! You are lucky you are nothing but free labor or I would have been gotten rid of you!" Tesra looks down. "Then that's it. You're just going to live here and play pretend with Nel. That's not fair. I was the only one who support you! I don't care if it was one night! That night proved that you loved me!" He looked up with tears. "I know you do! Please just leave with me. We can do whatever we want. I will do anything for you! You know this so please…please Nnoitra…"
Nnoitra looked at him with disgust. "You are sick…" Tesra eyes widen. "I do not love you, idiot. You happened to be there when I was pent up and that was it. Whatever you thought this was is never going to happen. Pack your shit and get out of my house. I don't trust you to do anything anymore." "What…n-no! Please I have nowhere to go!" "I don't give a fuck! You remember what I told you! I have fucking cameras in here! I've seen you rub one out on clothes and other various spots while Grayson was here! You think if I tell Nel she is going to let that shit go free! Hell, if I tell Grimmjow then he will beat you to death before me! Now get out! I won't say it again!"
Tesra busted into tears. He grovels on the floor. "Please don't kick me out! I'm sorry! I swear I will behave. I will do whatever you need me to do without question! When I went to see Sophie, yes, I had bad thoughts but I didn't do it! When she smiled at me it melted my heart and I just couldn't harm a hair on her head! I know I have lost your trust but I will do whatever it takes to get it back. Put a camera on my body, track my every movement, I'll write a detailed report about what I did all day that would match what the camera says. Just please…please don't abandon me, master." Nnoitra crossed his arms. "Fine…fine just stop. This is just sad at this point. You will wear a camera around your neck and expect you to write down everything you did in detail and if one thing is out of line then you are out of here. Got that." Tesra nods. "Yes…I understand. Thank you. Thank you so much." Nnoitra rolled his eyes and walked out, slamming the door behind him. Tesra shakes and puts his head on the ground. 'He will never be mine…' He clenched his chest as he felt a horrible pain in his heart.
A month past and it was now June 15th, Oichi, now with her 7-month belly, Grimmjow along with Grayson and the twins were at the courthouse to watch Nel and Nnoitra get married Oichi giggled as she held Sophie in her arms. "She is so cute!" Grimmjow chuckled. "Careful Oichi. You got jealous twins over here." She looked in his arms to see the twins pouting at her. "Aw! Don't worry I'll you two later." Nnoitra and Nel were standing in front of the altar holding hands. Nel was wearing a beautiful white shirt with a flower lace light jacket with black tights and high heels. Her hair was braided on the side and looped under the rest of her hair. She was smiling brightly as she said her vows to Nnoitra.
Nnoitra was also cleaned up as well. He was wearing a black dress shirt and pants with shoes. His face was bright red as Nel spoke about how she felt about him. "…Nnoitra. I know we had a rough patch but I want you to know that I truly do love you. I am happy that you decided to stay with me and our daughter Sophie. We are not perfect, but I have watched you changed from how you were back then to how you are now. I look forward to the future I have with you." Nnoitra gulps. "Oh oh…I hope he isn't getting cold feet…" Oichi whispers. "If he wants to live he better not…" Nnoitra looked at Nel. "I um…I didn't have anything written out or whatever. I think it's pointless to tell you how I feel when you know me well. So…yeah. Thanks for taking a chance on me and uh thanks for bringing Sophie into the world." Oichi's eye twitched slightly. Nel smiled. "Your such an idiot." Grimmjow shook his head. "At least he tried…"
The pastor of the church chuckled. "With that being said. Can I have the rings?" Grayson, who was the ring holder got up with the rings and ran to the front. "Mama! I got rings!" Nel nods. "Thank you, baby." She took Nnoitra's ring and he took hers. "Do you Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck take Nnoitra to be your wedded husband?" "I do." Nel says putting the ring on his finger. "Do you Nnoitra Gilga, take Nelliel to be your wedded wife?" "Yeah, I do." He says putting the ring on her finger. "Then by the power vest in me, I now pronounce you Mr. and Ms. Gilga. You may now kiss the bride." Nel and Nnoitra shared a kiss. "Yay!" Oichi says clapping. Grimmjow clapped and the twins giggled and clapped, mocking him. Grayson clapped, dropping the pillow. "Yaaaay! Mommy!" Nel pulled away and giggled. "Thank you." She looked at Oichi. "Thank you for coming." "Of course, Nel and I get to hold little Sophie too! I couldn't be happier!"
At Jess, she was buzzing in excitement on her own. After many debates and decisions, a date for her and Ulquiorra's wedding was finally set. There had been some setbacks with the venues they were looking into but they had found a beautiful set and matched it up with a date. Jess was sitting in the living room making bridal boxes. Ulquiorra walked downstairs carrying Nova who was now going on about 7 months. She was wearing a ladybug one piece that Oichi made and her hair had gotten longer to where Jess could put it in a tiny ponytail. "Jess." She turned around and smiled. "Hi, honey. I was just about to send these out." Ulquiorra put Nova down. She clings to his leg. Jess's eyes sparkled. "Aww! Nova come to mommy!" She held her arms out. Nova turns to Jess and holds her arms out. She started taking tiny steps towards her. She wobbled a bit but still made her way right until she grabbed Jess's finger. She tumbled over but Jess caught her. "Yay! Good job sweetie! My cute ladybug!" Nova smiled. "Ma!" She yelled out. Jess's eyes sparkled more. "OH MY GOSH!" She looked at Ulquiorra. "she said Ma! Her first words!" Jess cuddled Nova. "Yay! Soon you will be talking and walking and growing up so fast!"
Ulquiorra sat down and that made Nova turned all her attention to him. She wiggled away from Jess and crawled over to him. Jess pouted and then chuckled as he picked her up. "She loves her some daddy." She went back to her boxes. "Okay, so I have Oichi's, Nel, Orihime, Izzy, and Riruka. That should be enough. Groomsmen will be, Grimmjow as your best man, Ichigo, Yoshiro, Ben, and Mikey. Is that okay honey?" "I don't care." Ulquiorra says as Nova rested her head on his chest. "Okay then, I'm going to go drop these off to everyone. Mailing would be too long and bothersome. Do you need me to pick anything up?" "No, but you have an interview at your coffee bar in an hour and another one at 4 so you might want to hurry." "Oh, I forgot! Thanks love!" She got up and kissed his cheek and kissed Nova's cheek. She ran upstairs to get ready.
Oichi and Grimmjow were back at home with the twins. Amanda, Shelia, and Kendric were out with Ben having a sibling day. He had called Oichi to tell her that he had been living with Riruka and that he had found a job. She was so proud that he was trying to find a way to support himself. He was also in the process of selling the family mansion and using the money to help out with the girls. Oichi wanted him to use the money to set up a separate account for the family. Emergency funds basically, should anything go wrong.
Sighing, Oichi sat on the couch with a huff. Damien who had grown into a very large doggy rushed over and sat at her feet. He was super fluffy and big enough for Kendric and Grayson to ride on just about. "Man…when they said these dogs grow fast they were not lying," Oichi says rubbing his head. Pantera jumped up and crawled on the couch and made herself comfortable in Oichi's lap. Grimmjow chuckled as Oichi rubbed her back. "Looks like you are more comfortable around her now." "Yeah, I mean she gets on me the moment I sit down." Grimmjow took the twins out and put them in their playpen. "So…Nel is married." Oichi nods. "Yup…all that's really left is Jess's and ours…speaking of that we should talk about that. We haven't set up a date, plate, theme, guest, I don't even have a wedding dress." "Don't worry about that too much. I've been making calls here and there." Grimmjow says moving Damien out the way. He pushed Pantera off Oichi's lap. She did a little hiss and walked off.
He grabbed the remote and turned on the tv to find a movie to watch. "You have been doing some planning behind my back? We tell me what you have done!" Oichi says cuddling up beside him. "I find a place where we could have it. Your grandmother gave me the idea really." "Ooo…what she say?" "Your home island." Oichi's eyes widen. "Really? You want to have it there?" "You don't want to?" "No, no…that is…well it's perfect really. It's just to get to the island I must contact daddy somehow. Without his special plane, we wouldn't be able to get there." "Yes, I was actually trying to get in contact with your grandmother but I haven't been able to reach her." "Oh, I can do that. I'll give her your number and you two can talk that out." She taps her chin. "If we are going to my home island it will be hot no matter what month it is so we should do a night theme on the beach! Oooo! That would be so beautiful! I need my sketchbook!" Grimmjow chuckled and wraps his arms around her. He kissed her cheek. "I told you not to rush with this. We have plenty of time to make this perfect." Oichi smiled and kissed him on the lips. "I love you." She says. "I love you too babe."
There was suddenly a knock at the door. Grimmjow drops his head. "Why can't we have a peaceful day off together." Oichi giggled as he got up and went to the door. He opened it just in time to see Jess's car pulling away at high speed. "What the…" He looked down to see a box. Picking it up her closed the door and walked back into the living room. "I think that was Jess…she left a box?" "She did?" Grimmjow handed it to her. "Something weird most likely." Oichi opened the box and smiled. "Oh! It's a bridal box! She and Ulquiorra must have finally got a date set! The box was white and golden. It had a message on the inside of the box that said, 'Will you be my maid of honor.' Inside the box was a candle, a cup with her name on it, a cute necklace, and a heart shape mini box. Grabbing that box, she opened it and pulled out a note. "Let's see…the date is set for Feb 14th aw Valentine's Day." "Typical." Grimmjow says rolling his eyes. "We have a bridal party a week before that and it looks like Ulquiorra has a bachelor party." "Your joking…" "Nope. I hope you have something planned best man." "Ugh…I'll just take him to a bar or whatever, Maybe I can convince him that this is a bad idea." "Don't you dare!" Oichi says smacking him in the chest. "I cannot and will not protect you if you get him to get cold feet. Jess will knock you into space and then I would have to raise our cute kids by myself…unless…" She taps her chin. "I could always ask Kensei to help…" She smirked feeling an angry glare on her.
"I was just kidding!" Oichi says laughing. "Mmm…If she does send me into space then I'll make sure to come flying down right on top of his head and blow him up." He closed the box and tossed it to the side. He kissed Oichi on her cheek over and over. "Haha! Stop Grim!" "No, I'll mark you so that any man you come across will know you are mine." He kissed her cheek, her forehead, her neck, her jaw. It made her laugh until she gasps. "Wait! He is moving." Grimmjow stopped and placed a hand on her belly. He waited for a second before he felt a kick. "Looks like someone isn't happy that you're messing with me." Grimmjow chuckled. "What do you want for dinner?" "Steak, you can figure out the sides." They looked over to the playpen. The girls had already curled up and drifted off to sleep. "I'll make a plate for two while they are sleeping." Grimmjow says with a smirk. Oichi chuckled and watched him go into the kitchen. She looked down at her ring and smiled. "Soon it will be our turn. I can't wait for that day."
At the park, Tesra was sitting alone with a sad look on his face. He was supposed to be grocery shopping but he just needed a break. Nnoitra had been working him to the bone but that wasn't what bother him. He sighs rubbing his chest. 'What do I do now…' He tears wishing that he could have Nnoitra to himself. It hurt that it would never happen. "Well, well, well…what do we have here?" Tesra sniffed and looked up to see a handsome man with short brown hair and eyes. He smiled. "You look down in the blue there. You look like you could use some company." Usually, a weak-minded person would have fallen for this but Tesra knew better. He wasn't as weak as people saw him. "You can change your looks all you want but the stench of death is the same as ever Szayel." The man frowned. "Excuse me?" "You can cut the act. With Aizen not around we aren't labeled anymore. What do you want."
The man's eyes narrowed and sighs. He runs his fingers through his hair and chuckled. "Fine, fine…looks like I can't fool those who I work with." He sat down beside Tesra. "That didn't answer my question though. Shouldn't you be fooling around with Nnoitra?" "It is none of your concern. If you think I will sell out Master Nnoitra then you can think again. Get lost." He got up to leave but Szayel grabbed him and pulled him down back to the beach. "Listen here you little worm. It's true that we are no longer labeled in ranks and status but don't think for one moment you are stronger and smarter than me." Tesra frowned. "What do you want…" "I want to help you. Now if you just listen we can both be happy. If you do something for then I might be able to take care of Nel just like last time." Tesra looks down. 'Just like last time…' "Now listen up.
