Chapter 27

The rain was pouring down heavily. The skies were dark as thunder cracked the sky. Blood soaked into the ground as Grimmjow's body lay still. The car door was still open, and his phone was broken into pieces scattered into the ground.

Oichi at home grabbed her keys in a panic. "A-Amanda! Watch the kids!" She screamed out. The girls ran down the stairs. "Ms. Oichi!? Where are you going in this weather?" Oichi didn't answer, ignoring the fact she was only wearing jogging pants and a black t-shirt. She didn't grab a jacket or even her shoes. All she cared about was getting to Grimmjow. She heard a loud bang, and she was fearing the worse. She dialed 911 as she got into the car, wet from the rain. Pulling out she sped off to the Construction Depo.

"911, What is the nature of your emergency?" "My fiancé! I think he was shot!" "Okay, ma'am, please calm down. Can I have your location?" "I'm not with him but the address is 165 Strickland Street, At Construction Depo!" "Then how do you know he was shot, ma'am?" "I was on the phone, and I heard a loud bang. Please! Send help please!" "The nearest ambulance is a 1 hour out from that location." "Isn't there anything you can do!" "I am trying to get someone there as fast as I can." Oichi bit her lip and hung up. She dialed Ichigo's number, but it went straight to voice mail. She called Nel but it kept ringing. Not even Jess or Ulquiorra picked up. She gripped her stirring wheel as she sped up. She turned the corner, running a red light. Tears ran down her cheeks. "Grim, hold on. Hold on…"

At the house, Amanda was on the phone with her brother Ben, while Shelia was sitting in the living room with the kids. "I don't know Ben. She looked upset and she ran out in the rain with no shoes or jacket. She was on the phone with Grim and then got upset." She peaked into the living room. Naomi was staring at her toy while Alisha looked like she was getting ready to cry. Kendric walked over to them and sat beside them, getting their attention. He held up a few toys making them smile. "Babies play." The girls giggled and grabbed the toys to play with. Amanda smiled. "It's just me, Shelia, and the kids…okay…see you soon then." She hangs up and walks into the living room. "Ben is on his way over." Shelia nods. "I wonder what happened. I hope Grim is okay."

Oichi pulled in sideways into the parking lot and parked, leaving the car on. Taking her phone, she ran through the gates to the main building only to stop. Her eyes widen in horror spotting Grimmjow's body. "Grimmjow!" She ran to him slipping in the mud. She shook but got up, reached him, and dropped to her knees unsure what to do. With her shaking hands, she turned him over with a grunt. Blood was running down his chest, where he had been shot. "Grimmjow! Grimmjow!" She yelled. She put a hand on the gun wound hoping it would slow the bleeding. "Grim wake up! Don't die!" When he didn't respond to her, she could feel her heart breaking. "Oh, God…Dammit! What do I do!" She started to panic more. She grabbed her phone and dialed a number. "Please, pick up…pick up please!"

In a modern new development apartment complex. Kensei was sitting at his bar sipping on a beer while doing paperwork. His building had just got finished being demolished. Talking to the construction company he was getting a news station and his title would be the president of the company. Hisagi was going to be his first section chief in the news station, and he was going to have Oichi deal with most of the progressing paperwork. She was good at it. He scratched his head. She had saved him countless times at meetings when she handled his paperwork, plus it wouldn't interfere too much with her fashion thing. He sighs and flips over the paper. "Now…he comes the troublesome one. I can't believe of all times she wants to come back now." His phone starts to ring. He grabs it and looks at it. "Oichi? I wonder what she wants. That idiot better had not made her cry again." He answered. "Hello?" "Kensei! Help please!" Oichi screamed over the phone. He jumped up quickly. "What's going on!?" He could hear the rain through her phone. "Are you outside!? In this weather!?" "Grimmjow's been shot! I need help!" She cried. "Shot!?" Kensei frowned. "Where are you?" "His job! Please help me, PLEASE!" "I'm on my way! Don't hang up." He grabbed his keys and jacket and ran out the door. "Do you know where he was shot at?" Oichi was crying over the phone. "Calm down Oichi. Tell me. Do you know where he was shot?" "Y-Yes his chest, I think." "When you found him did you see an exit wound or anything?" "I um…I found him lying face-first on the ground. There is only blood on his chest…but I can't tell if he's breathing. I…I don't want him to die." "He isn't going to die." Kensei says reaching his car. "Just put pressure on the wound. I'm heading to you know." He hangs up and calls the hospital.

Back at Oichi's, Amanda was making the girls a snack when they heard a knock on the door. "Oh, that must be Ben." She walked to the door and opened it. Standing in front of her was Tesra. Soaked. "Oh, I remember you. You were staying with Ms. Nel, weren't you?" Tesra smiles softly. "Y-Yes, I was looking for Oichi…is she here?" "No…something happened with Grim I think, and she rushed out of here." "Oh, I was hoping she could help me. At least with some clothes…" "I think we have some spare clothes upstairs. Why don't you come in." Tesra nods and follows her inside. He closed the door, without locking it. Due to the growing wind, the door re-opened just a little, leaving it open just a crack.

The rain started to pour down harder, Oichi shivered as she holds her hands on Grimmjow's chest. She could faintly feel his chest rising. She was completely soaked to the bone, but she didn't care. "Grim…please hang on." "Mm…" She gasps. "Grim!? Grimmjow!?" She saw his eyes open. He looked at her. "What are…you doing…" "Grimmjow! Oh, thank goodness! I thought you were…" "You are going to get sick…w-where are your…clothes…" He says and lets out a wheezing breath. He coughs and blood came out of his mouth. "Don't worry about me! Kensei is coming and we are going to get you to a hospital okay! Okay!?" Grimmjow didn't answer as his eyes went blank. "Grimmjow!" She heard a car pull up. "Oichi!?"

"Kensei! Over here!" She saw Kensei run over. His eyes widen slightly. "What the hell…" "Please help me." Oichi says sniffing. "He was talking just a few seconds ago but then he stopped." Kensei frowned looking at Grimmjow. His eyes wander to Oichi. He worried about her condition. "Okay, let's get him in the car." "What about the ambulance?" "They are backed up. There isn't one near this location and it looks like he already lost a good amount of blood. I called the hospital directly. They are setting up a room for him now." He walked over and easily picked up Grimmjow. "Come on."

They rushed to his car, Kensei put him in the back seat, Oichi climbed in the back as well. Kensei jumped in the driver's seat drove off to the hospital. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "…Hey Toshiro. We got a problem. Grimmjow was shot…I don't know how long ago but you need to come down and process what you can from the scene before it's all washed away." He frowned and looked in the rearview mirror. Oichi was clinging to Grimmjow as she shivered. "Don't die…don't leave me…" She whispered. "…No need to. I have her with me…yeah she found him…" He sighs. "Yeah…alright see you there." He turned the corner driving to the hospital.

Ichigo, Orihime, Nel, and Nnoitra were sitting in a BBQ buffet restaurant. Orihime hums out as she bit into her food. "It was such a good idea to go out together!" Nel chuckled sipping on her beer. "Agreed. It was a good idea to have Flo and Hisagi babysit. With their little one on the way." "Flo is so cute!" Orihime says giggling. "She gets flustered easily now and Oichi says Hisagi spoils her every day. They are going to make such wonderful parents." Nel and Orihime laugh together. Ichigo and Nnoitra ate in silence. Ichigo shook his head. 'Usually, I'm dealing with Grimmjow or Ulquiorra…never Nnoitra alone. It's so weird.' Nnoitra heard his phone beep. He grabs it and glances at it until Nel smacked his hand. "Hey! No phones at the table. We are enjoying dinner together." Nnoitra rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but it might be the job. Do we need Grimmjow walking up in here and making a scene?" "It's not Grimmjow. I know for a fact that he is home all over Oichi right now. He isn't thinking about you at all right now." Nnoitra groans putting his phone down. "This is so stupid."

Kensei pulled up to the ER, where Uryu was waiting with a team of nurses. As soon as he parked Uryu, and the nurses rushed to the car and opened the back door. They were able to get Grimmjow out and on the gurney and rushed him in. Kensei helped Oichi out who was shaking. Now that she could clearly see Grimmjow, his face was pale and there was much more blood than she originally thought. "No…" She went to put her hands to her face when Kensei grabbed his wrist. She looked up at him. "Kensei…" She looked down at her hands to see them covered with blood. "Oh…" She looked down at her soaking body and saw her jogging pants were covered in a mixture of mud and blood from being beside Grimmjow. Her knees buckled but she was caught by Kensei. "Come on, don't fall to pieces. He is going to be okay." She couldn't stop shaking. Seeing Grimmjow just lying on the ground dying was becoming too much. Tears ran down her cheeks.

She was picked up by Kensei. "We need to get you inside. He will be okay Oichi…that stubborn bastard wouldn't leave you behind." He walked inside and a nurse rushed over. "Doctor Ishida wants us to take a look at her." Kensei nods and followed her to a room. Once Oichi was left in the care of the nurses he was heading to the waiting room when he heard buzzing. He looked at his hand and noticed he was holding Oichi's phone. "Huh…how did that happen…" Oichi's phone was ringing. He answered. "Hello?" "Hello? Who is this, Kensei? Why do you have Oichi's phone!?" Kensei frowned. "This must be Jess…" "Oichi called me. Why do you have her phone!" She says snapping slightly. "Calm down. Listen…Grimmjow was shot." "WHAT!?" She screamed. "What do you mean shot! Who shot him! Where is Oichi!" "She is here with me at the hospital. She said she was trying to call everyone, but no one picked up. So, she called me. She is in shock and the nurses are checking her out. They just rushed Grimmjow into the surgery room." "Oh my god, oh my god, ULQUIORRA!" Kensei pulled the phone back. "Look if you're coming bring some clothes. She's soaked to the bone." "Your telling me was out in this weather!? Who is watching the kids! I have to go!" Kensei hung up. "Man, that chick is loud…"

At the restaurant, Ichigo's phone started to buzz. He grabbed it and looked to see Jess was calling him. "It's Jess." "Oh, come on, we are supposed to be having a nice dinner without distractions. If I can't have my phone, then neither can you." Nnoitra says. "What kind of logic is that. You're worse than Grimmjow. If Jess is calling me then it must be important or something." The phone stopped ringing. He noticed he had a miss call from Oichi as well, but he had sent it straight to voice mail on accident. His phone rings again. Ichigo answers. "Hello?" "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU ANSWER ME!" Jess screamed through the phone making them all jump. Her voice could be heard through the phone. It made Ichigo's ears ring. "Ow! Jess what the hell! I was about to answer, and you stopped calling. Don't scream at me for that." "Shut up! Get to the hospital now!" "What why!?" "Grimmjow got shot! Kensei said Oichi tried to call everyone, but no one picked up!" Ichigo jumps up from the table, almost knocking the food off. "Are you serious!?" "Why would I lie! I'm heading to her house to check on the kids and bring her some clothes. Kensei said she was in shock and Grim is in surgery!" "Okay, okay, we are on the way." He hangs up at her. "We need to leave now." "Something happened?" Nel asked. "Grimmjow got shot." Nnoitra frowned. "Your shittin me. Who got the balls to shoot that bastard?" "That could be a long list, but Oichi needs us. Jess is heading to her house to make sure the kids are okay." Orihime put money on the table. Nel checked her phone and frowned to see Oichi had called her. 'Shit…I'm so stupid!' They all got up and rushed to the car.

Ulquiorra pulled up to Oichi's house. Jess, wearing a raincoat, got out. Ulquiorra got out and quickly grabbed her arm. "Stop. Get back in the car." "Why!?" Ulquiorra glanced at the door that was being blown open. Jess gasps. "No!" "Get back in the car and call Toshiro." Jess bit her lip. "Get back in the car with Nova, Jess." Jess goes back to the car and gets in. Ulquiorra walked up the stairs and walked inside. The living room was torn apart. Glass was shattered, toys were broken. He walked into the kitchen and narrowed his eyes to see Amanda and Shelia were on the floor knocked out, the kitchen was a mess. It looked like the girls did their best to use whatever weapon they could to defend themselves. Their heads were bleeding. He walked over to them and check their pulse. "U-Uncle…" He heard a small voice. He got up and peeked out to see the backdoor was opened. He spotted Kendric on the floor, laying on his belly. He had a bruise swelling up on his cheek. Walking over to him, he kneeled and picked him up. "B-Bad man took sissy's…" Ulquiorra saw the back door open. 'Badman…' "I tried…help babies." Kendric tears up. "It's okay." Ulquiorra says. "I'll find your sisters."

He quickly rushed out the door covering Kendric with his jacket. Jess was just getting off the phone. Ulquiorra opened the door. "What happened?!" "The girls were taken." Jess's eyes widen in anger. "By who!" "I don't know Jess, but I need you to take Kendric and the girls to the hospital with you. I'll stay here." Jess felt her anger boiling over. She got out the passenger side. Ulquiorra put Kendric in the back seat where Nova was. "Hi." She says waving. Kendric waves back. Jess bit her lip more seeing the bruise on Kendric's cheek. Ulquiorra rushed back inside and brought out Amanda and Shelia. She put Shelia in the back and Amanda in the front. Jess gripped the steering wheel, cracking it bit by bit. "Jess…calm down…" "Don't tell me to calm down when my nieces are missing! Just find the bastard who took them before I do!" Ulquiorra closed the door. He watched her back out and drive off. He sighs. 'I'll never admit it to her, but she is quite cute when she is angry like that…'

He walked back into the house and walked to the back door, switching the lights on he walked out and looked around. Walking over to the playground that Grimmjow had started to build for the kids he noticed footprints made in the mud. Even in the rain, he could track down a person. As a former clean-up crew, he had the skills to track down anyone he was required to eliminate. He kneels and rubs the outside, measuring it. His eyes widen slightly and then narrowed. 'I see…' He pulls his phone out and dials Nnoitra's number. He waited as the rain-drenched his hair. Nnoitra picked up. "What? I don't need you to lecture me. We are almost at the hospital." "It's not that. The twins have been taken. Amanda, Shelia, and Kendric were hurt, and Jess is bringing them to the hospital now." "Are you kidding me!?" "What? What he say!" Nel shouts through the phone. "I'm here at Oichi's place and I found a footprint. Its size and measure belong to Tesra." There was silence from Nnoitra. "Honey!? What's wrong!? What happened!?" Nel yells. "I'll call you back. Go ahead and start." Nnoitra says. He hangs up. Ulquiorra lets out a sigh. "How troublesome…"

Ichigo and the others quickly pulled up into the parking lot of the hospital. They were getting out when Nnoitra had stopped them to tell them what he learned. Nel's face went pale while Orihime gasps, covering her mouth. Ichigo was seeing red and demanded that he wanted to come with them, but Nnoitra ignored his comments. It was the calmest they had ever seen him as they watch him get back in the car and drive off. Nel held her arms. "No…I…I knew it. I knew something was wrong." Orihime hugged her. "Don't do this Nel, not now. We have to get to Oichi…at least before Jess gets here." "This is going to be too much! She saw Grimmjow and now we have to tell her that the twins are missing! She can't handle that!" "Would you rather she finds out when Jess gets here? She needs to know now." Ichigo says grabbing both of their hands. He pulled them through the doors and into the waiting room where Kensei was waiting.

"Seems like that girl got through." "We have a problem…" Ichigo says. "What now?" "Jess is on her way here with Kendric, Shelia, and Amanda. They were attacked at the house." "What?" Kensei says. His eyes looked up to the door. "Wait…" "The twins…they were taken and are missing," Ichigo says going on. "Ulquiorra is…" "M-Missing…" Ichigo jumped. They turned around to see Oichi standing there. Her clothes were still dirty, and her hair was getting poofy and nappy from the rain. Her face was pale as she walked to Ichigo with a shocked expression. "Oichi wait…" Orihime says going to her. Oichi pushed her away and went to Ichigo. She grabbed his shirt. "Did you say…my girls…are…missing!? Someone took my babies!? My babies!?" Tear poured out of her eyes as she shook more. Ichigo grabbed her shoulders. "Oichi, they are going to find them. Ulquiorra and Nnoitra are going to…"

Oichi pushed away from him and ran out of the waiting room. "Oichi!" Kensei rushed past him quickly. He grabbed Oichi right before she got to the nurse's station. "Let me go!" She yelled. "Get off of me!" "Where do you think you're going!? You can't do anything right now." "I have to find my daughters! I can't sit here and…" "That is what you are going to do right now! You have already been out in this weather, looking after Grimmjow! You going to the house is going to get nothing solved. You need to be for Grimmjow and those kids okay." Oichi broke down. Kensei pulled her into a tight hug. "We are going to find them okay. Right now, you need to stay here with Ichigo and the others. Do you understand?" She nods her head in his chest. They stayed like that for a little longer before he led her back into the waiting room. Nel and Orihime quickly hugged her tightly, tearing themselves. "Everything is going to be okay." Nel says. "I'm so sorry, I should have answered when you called."

Ichigo walked up to Kensei. "Are you going?" "Yeah. I need to call Toshiro and Yamamoto." "Why him?" Ichigo asked. "Don't worry about it. Just keep Oichi here." Ichigo sighs and nods. Kensei looked at Oichi and then walked out. 'You dumbass…you better not die and leave her alone…'

In the parking lot, Jess was getting help from the nurses as they took the girls and Kendric to different rooms. She was walking behind the nurse that had Kendric. Nova was following alongside her with her ladybug bear. "Ma'am would you like to wait in the…" "No, I'm not letting him out my site." Jess says a little bit coldly. The nurse shook and they walked into the room. The nurse looked over Kendric and put a patch on his cheek. "Other than the bruise, nothing is wrong with him." "What about the girls?" Jess asked. "They both received a hit to the head. They got a cut and a bump, but they should be fine." "I want them to place in a room together." "Ma'am I can't do that. We don't have enough room with the expansion going on." "You can't use one room to put them together? Do I have to speak to someone higher than you? Where is Uryu?" The nurse frowned. "Ma'am please I…" "I asked you a simple question."

"That is enough Jessica." Jess turned around to see Ryuken. "Mr. Ryuken…" "What is going on here and why are you bulling my nurse?" She frowned. "Bullying? Hardly. I asked her if Amanda and Shelia could be placed in the same room. I understand you don't have a lot of space, but I want to keep an eye on the girls and Kenny. They were just attacked." "Attacked?" "Yes, someone went into Oichi's home, attacked them, and took the twins." She grips her fist. "Grimmjow was shot and I'm sure Oichi is already a mess. I don't want anything to happen to them on my watch. That is all." Ryuken crossed his arms. "I see, that is what the fuss is about. Very well, there is a room they all can fit into. Until they awake and get fully cleared, they can stay there." "Oh, thank you. Thank you so much." "Mhmm…make sure you stay off your feet and calm that anger down. You should know that anger and any other negative emotions can affect your pregnancy." Jess rubbed her belly and nodded. "Nurse, prepare the rooms." The nurse nods and quickly ran past Jess. 'I didn't mean to scare her or come off as mean…' Jess says to herself. "Where Mama?" Kendric asked. "She's in the waiting room." Ryuken says. Kendric crawls off the bed and took off past Jess and Ryuken. "Kenny!" Jess yelled. Nova smiled and ran off after him. "Auntie!" She screamed. "Nova! Don't run after him!" She sighs holding her belly. Ryuken pushes his glasses up. "Shall we." Jess smiles and nods.

In the waiting room, Oichi was back in tears. She couldn't stop crying. Orihime and Nel were rubbing her back. Ichigo was pacing while he was on the phone with Renji. "So, Toshiro is on the way there?" He looked at Oichi. "No…she isn't doing well…Luckily, Cy was with Flo. We haven't heard anything on Grimmjow…if you think that is best then sure, can you also stop by Flo's and Izzy? Oh, Toshiro got that handed. I gotta say he is fast. Alright, keep me updated." He hangs up. Oichi rubbed her eyes. "Grim…my babies…" Orihime frowned and looked at Ichigo. "Did you call Danni?" "Toshiro did, he got everything worked out so far. He got police officers at both Flo's and Izzy's place for now and he is heading to Oichi's now. I told Renji what Nnoitra told us, and he is relaying the information. Hopefully, they will find the twins quickly."

"Mama!" They heard yelling. Oichi's head snaps up as Kendric came running into the room. "Kenny!?" Kendric ran to her and jumped right into her arms. "Kenny you're okay!" Oichi hugged him crying more. Nova ran in next with a smile. "Auntie!" She then stopped seeing Oichi crying. "Auntie?" She tears up and runs to her, dropping her bear. "No cry!" She hugged Oichi's leg. Nel went to pick her up. "Give auntie some time to calm down, okay?" Nova whimpers and holds her arms out for Oichi. "Auntie!" Instinctively Oichi held her hand out and pulled Nova onto her lap hugging in her tears.

Jess and Ryuken walked in. Jess sighs out in a huff. "Nova!" Nova jumps in Oichi's hold. She slipped away from her and looks down. "Swoey…" "How many times do I…" Jess stops, seeing Oichi. "Oh, Sis…" Orihime moved out of the way making a seat for her. She sat down beside Oichi and rubbed her back. "It's going to be okay. Ulquiorra is going to find them. He will track them down and make them pay for taking the girls and you know Grimmjow. That stubborn jerk wouldn't just die like this. He wouldn't leave you and the kids behind." Oichi nods slowly. Jess grabbed her hand. "It's going to be okay."

Back at Oichi's house, the rain had calmed down to a little drizzle. Police were at the scene and her house was blocked off with yellow tape. Inside, Toshiro and Rangiku were looking around with the other offices. Prints were getting dusted and anything that could leave a trace of DNA was collected. Toshiro put his phone in his pocket. He had been on the phone with Renji. "Seems like Ulquiorra and Nnoitra already had a head start on the kidnapping." Rangiku frowned. "This Tesra man, could he have shot Grimmjow as well?" "Most likely. I have officers on the scene getting whatever they can." "How is Oichi?" She asked. Toshiro frowned. "According to Ichigo, she is a mess. I want to find the girls as quickly as possible. I want this as the highest priority." "Yes, I agree…" A voice rings out. They turned to the door to see Yamamoto standing there. "S-Sir? What are you doing here?" Toshiro asked. Yamamoto walked in more. "I got the call from Kensei that my great grands have been kidnapped. I want them found and I want the person who caught them brought to me." His cane slammed on the floor. "I will not allow Oichi to lose her children. This is the highest priority case, and every means will be used even if it's from unwanted helped." "Unwanted help? Are you speaking of Ulquiorra?" "No…I am speaking of my grandson." Toshiro frowned. "Dante?" "Yes, in the case of emergency I do have my ways of contacting him if needs be. Once he learns of this incident that boy will move heaven and earth to get them back. At least that is something I can admire about him." He turns to leave. "Where are you going, sir?" "To the hospital, but before that, I want you to grab some clothes for Oichi and bring them outside to me." He left.

Toshiro and Rangiku looked at each other. "He is coming into his role as a grandfather." Rangiku says crossing her arms under her breast. "That is to be expected after all." Toshiro says looking around. His eyes caught something near the stairs. Putting on gloves he walked over and picked it up. "Hmm…A card with a number on it." He says holding it. Rangiku grabbed a bag and opened it. He slipped the card inside. "Take it to the lab and see if we can run prints on it." "Shouldn't we try to call the number?" "No, that might spook the person on the other end. For now, take it to the techs and have them figure out who the number belongs to without calling them." Rangiku handed it to another officer. "I'm going to head to her room and pick out some clothes for her. Something really cute and maybe take something for me." She giggled and skipped upstairs. Toshiro's eye twitched and let out a loud groan. He then heard a loud bang and barking. 'That's right…they did have a dog.' He walked over to the bar room and opened it. There he saw Damien limping out. Toshiro frowned and bent down. "Looks like your leg got broken…" Damien whimpers and lays down on his side. Toshiro rubbed his head and noticed so red coloring on his bottom jaw. "Looks like you got a bite out of the kidnapper. Good job. Hey, I need a medic over here!" He called out.

In the operating room, back at the hospital, Grimmjow was laying on the table with an oxygen mask on. His breathing was shallow. Uryu was trying to get the bullet out. It had hit him near the heart and the tip had shattered leaving small pieces of it near his heart. Nemu dabbed some sweat off his forehead. He pulled out the main bullet and placed it on the tray. "Now…the rest." Uryu says with a sigh.

On the table, Grimmjow's eyes were moving while his eyelids were closed. In his mind, he was floating in pitch-black darkness. His eyes opened and he looked around. 'Ah…so am I dead? Dammit, how did I get taken out by some weakening!' He tried moving his body, but it was so heavy. 'I can't die. I can't leave Oichi and my kids behind. I won't let her be swooped up by some other man, especially that ape-headed boss of hers. I won't die!'

Suddenly a flash of light happened. His body was engulfed, and he closed his eyes as the light was too bright to even look at. He felt a cold sensation and then a loud snap.

When he opened his eyes, the surroundings were different. He was sitting outside an alley. It was dark and cold. He was shivering. 'Where am I…' "Look, another one abandon. How sad." His eyes slowly looked up to see a couple passing back. 'What the hell are they looking at.' "Poor boy…I will never understand why people have children just to throw them away." They walked by him. Grimmjow frowned as memories flowed into his head. 'Oh right…I remember. Back when I was a kid…my old man grew tired of having mouths to feed. He kicked me out and just left me here. Thought I was going to die out here.' He frowned. 'Like hell, I was going to die…people looked down at me, feeling sorry. Pathetic. I made a promise to myself that I was never going to feel so low like this again. I'll stand at the top and everyone who looked down on me will be nothing but an ant under my boot!' A light flashed in front of him blinding him.

When it died down, he felt himself falling until he landed on something hard. "Ow! What the hell!" He sat up and rubbed his head. He looked around and saw that he was next to an old apartment. "Where am I?" Standing up he grew a little dizzy. "What the hell…" He rubbed his head and notice it was a bit shorter. Looking down at himself, he was wearing a white shirt with black jeans and shoes. "Hey wait…wait, wait, wait…" He ran to a trash can and turned it over. He found a broken mirror and held it up. His eyes widen to see he was younger, around his teen years. "What the fuck…wasn't I just…What is going on?"

In the waiting room, Kendric, Nova, and Ichika who arrived with Rukia a few moments ago were playing in the kid's corner. Oichi was silent as she held hands with Jess. Ichigo was still pacing waiting for a word. Rukia was sitting two seats over beside Orihime. She wanted to comfort Oichi, but she didn't want to overstep. Nel was in the room with the girls waiting for them to wake up. Other than the kids giggling every now and then it was silent. That was until Danni rushed in. "Oichi!" Oichi's head snapped up. "Mom…" She let go of Jess's hand and got up. She ran to Danni hugging her, crying all over again. Danni held her tightly. "Your…father got news of what happened. He just contacted me on the way here." Jess blinks. "Dante did?" "The old man told him what was going on." Shunsui says walking in with Jushiro. "Jushiro? Why are you here?" Ichigo asked. "I couldn't stand the thought of Oichi being here alone at the time of need. I came to check on her."

Danni rubbed the back of Oichi's head. "That man of yours isn't going to die okay. He's taken worse and Naomi and Alisha are going to be found and they will be back and, in your arms, again. If there is one thing, I can say about your father is that he doesn't stop when it comes to his children" Jess frowned. 'Maybe, uncle might know something…' "Excuse me? Can I get some help up? I need to use the restroom." Jushiro walked over to her and held his hand out. She smiled and took it. "Thank you. I can go by myself." She walked out of the room while Danni sat Oichi back down.

Making it to the bathroom she waited until the door opened. A young woman with blue hair walked in, she was wearing a black shirt with dark blue jeans and flats. She smiled looking at Jess and took a knee in front of her. "Hello, Princess. You summoned me?" "How long have you been keeping an eye on me?" "Ever since you came back to this little city." "Mhmm…figures, don't call me princess. As you know our title doesn't mean much around here." "True but all your uncle needs to do is to use his power to…" "Enough, River. I don't want to hear that. You know what is going on right?" "Yes, I do. Oichi's twins are missing. Do you want me to find them?" "Yes, I don't care about your methods on how you do it. I just want my nieces found." "Shall I dispose of the man who dared laid a finger on them?" "No, leave him for Dante. I just got word that he is joining this search. Try not to get in his way." River chuckled. "He will not be an issue, my lady." "I said what I said River. Do not get in his way." "Yes, I understand. I will take my leave." She rises and disappears. Jess frowned and placed a hand on her belly. She then pouted. "Great, now I really need to pee…"

Out in town, Tesra busted into an old apartment that a few homeless people used when it stormed. In his arms were the twins who were out like a light. Tesra pants as he rushed upstairs and kicked open a door. He runs to the bedroom and puts the twins down. He begins to pace and looked down at his bleeding hand. "That damn mutt." He tore off a piece of a sheet and wrapped his hand. "What did I do now. What did I do!?" He pulled out his cell and dialed a number. It rang five times before it was picked up. "Is it done?" "Done? This is bad!" Tesra yelled. "What did you do? I gave you simple instructions." "I did what you said! I took care of that bastard Grimmjow, and I went to Oichi's house as you said. I got inside but things didn't go as planned! I…I ended up taking the twins." "WHAT!? I never said to grab the brats! All you needed to do was get a blood sample! It was an easy task! Something even you can do! Stay on the low but you can't even do that! I was wrong for even trusting you with this task. Well from here on out you are on your own. Figure this out by yourself and never contact me again." "Wait. Don't leave! You promised me that you would help!" The phone went dead. "Hello? Hello!?" Tesra bit his lip and slammed the phone on the floor. "Damn! Damn! Damn!" He starts stomping on the phone breaking it.

He looked back at the twins and grabs his hair. "What do I do…I…I can dump them. Dump them in the park somewhere." He heard sirens and jumped. Walking to the window he peaked outside to see police cars driving up and down the streets. He bit his lip. "Are they looking for me? Oh no…I need to get rid of them quickly but, I need to wait until the heat dies down a little."

He closed the blinds and sat on the floor. "All I wanted was to be with Master Nnoitra again. Why did it have to be this way…why…" He tears holding his head.

Yamamoto arrived at the hospital. He was carrying a change of clothes for Oichi. The driver to his car opened the door and let him out. "Circle around twice and come back." He tells the driver who nodded. He walked in and walked past the nursing station. Everyone who saw him made a way for him until he got into the waiting room. All eyes turned to him. Oichi's head rises. Her cheeks were puffy, and her eyes were red from crying. Danni frowned. "…Did you get word from Dante?" "Not yet but, that boy has ways to move around the city undetected. I'm sure he will find the twins." He walked up to Oichi and held out a bag for her. "I had them prepare some clothes for you. If you are anything like Jenny, then you are bound to get a cold." "G-Great Granny got sick a lot?" "Indeed. She had a weak immune system and no matter how many times I told her to rest she never listened. I hope that is not the case with you." Oichi rubbed her eye and grabbed the bag. "Thank you…" Danni stood up. "Come on honey, let's get you cleaned up." She took her hand and pulled her up. Oichi pulled away from her and went to Yamamoto. She hugged him. "Please find them. Please…" Yamamoto was a little stun at her sudden hug. He raised his hand and placed it on her head. "They will be found. I promise." Danni frowned. "Come on honey…" She pulled Oichi away from him. She glanced at him unapprovingly before taking Oichi away.

Yamamoto turned to Ichigo. "Where is her youngest?" "Cy? He is with Florina for the night. Babysitting." "Have him brought here. Having him near may calm her down some." Ichigo nods. "Okay." Yamamoto turned and left the room without another word. Rukia shiver slightly. "Even his calm present state of mind, he is still intense." Orihime nods.

~Grimmjow's mind~

Grimmjow was sitting on a trash can still in awe about what happened. "Why the hell am I a kid again. Was…was that all a dream or something?" He groans. "That would suck if that were the case!" "What the hell are you yelling about you stupid brat." Grimmjow looked to the left and saw a couple of thugs walking to him. They were armed with knives, bats, and pipes. Grimmjow raised his eyebrow. 'Wait…I remember these losers…oh right. I was supposed to come to collect some money from these guys and they thought they could beat me up and teach me a lesson.' Back then he was working as a simple broker. He collected money for clients. It helped him through some tough spots. He smirked and cracked his knuckles. 'I remember slaughtering them all.' 'Grim…' He blinks and looks around. 'Grim don't die.' "Oichi?" "Calling out to your mom you brat!?" The guy rushed him with a pipe. Grimmjow sighs and kicks the guy in the face. The pipe went flinging up in the air and back down where Grimmjow was. He grabbed it and jumped off the trashcan. Within a matter of seconds, he had beaten down the thugs. "Weaklings. If you just pay back the fucking money, then you won't have to end up this way. You're lucky I'm in a good mood or you would be dead." He walked over to them and went through their pockets and grabbed any money they had and put it in his own pockets.

"Wait a minute…maybe I'm having one of those, life flashing before your eyes moment. Ughhh am I really going to live out my teen years all over again?"

As soon as he said that he was hit with another flash of light. He closed his eyes and opened them moments later. He was on the sidewalk now. He looked in a glass store window. He had very short blue hair that was cut like a low mohawk, piercing in his ears, and was wearing a dark blue shirt with a black vest, dark blue skinny jeans, and black shoes. His eyes widen slightly. 'Wait…this outfit…If I'm right, Ulquiorra should be around here somewhere. Maybe I can get some answers' He took off running down the street pushing people out of his way. 'This has got to be some weird dream or something. This is crazy! I remember being at the job, talking to that piece of shit Tesra and then…' He bit his lip. 'Damn him…!' He turned the corner and slid to a stop. 'No fucking way…'

Just a few feet in front of him was Ulquiorra sitting on the ground, getting his arm bandaged by a young Oichi. She was talking to him, but he couldn't hear what she was saying. "Oichi…" Seeing her so young made his heart skip a beat. How could he miss her like this? He gripped his fist. 'you're telling me she could have already been mine if I would have gotten here earlier! What was I doing?' He slowly walked to them. Oichi stood up with a smile and waved goodbye to Ulquiorra before walking off. Ulquiorra eyes lingered. 'I remember this. I saw her and didn't even realize it.' He bit his lip. 'So, this is why he started stalking her.' He growled in anger. 'I'll kill him.' He stormed up to him. "Hey!" He yelled but the words he wanted to say didn't come out. "Would you get up already or do I need to drag your sorry ass back to work. You slacker." Ulquiorra signs mentally. He got up and brushed himself off. Grimmjow eyed his arm. "Did you fix yourself up?" Ulquiorra didn't answer him. In fact, he ignored him altogether and walked past him. Grimmjow growled out. "You bastard! I know you heard me talking to you! Don't ignore me!" He tried to throw a punch, but Ulquiorra slid to the side stuck his foot out, and tripped Grimmjow who fell into a trash can. Garbage was all over him. Ulquiorra waved the air around him. "Just like a dog to roll around in the trash." He says walking off. Grimmjow growls out angrily and smashes the lid with his fist. "Wait you damn emo!"

Grimmjow rushes after him as he turned down an alley. 'All of that did happen but that's not want I wanted to say! I really must be living my life out to a T but I ain't going for it.' He grabbed Ulquiorra's shoulder. "How did you come into contact with Oichi!" Ulquiorra's eyes grew wide for a moment. "How…do you know her?" "Don't fuck with me! Oichi is my woman! She doesn't want some lame depressed guy like you." Ulquiorra's eyes narrowed. "Your woman…if that was true you would have been bragging about her like you always do with your…toys…" He pushed Grimmjow off him. "I don't know what little fantasy you are living in, but I plan to claim that girl sooner or later. I won't let trash like you take her from me." Grimmjow let out a growl. "Ha! You are too damn scared to do anything. You're going to wait and lose your chance and start to stalker her. She will be too scared to even remember who you are!" Ulquiorra punched Grimmjow in the face without warning. Grimmjow fell back on his butt. "Ow you fucker!" "She will be mine. One way or another…"

"Now boys…" They turned around to see Aizen walking up. He was younger with short hair, and he was wearing glasses. At this time, he was still working at the center for a bit. "Didn't I say not to fight in public? I came all this way to make sure you were okay Ulquiorra. Did you finish your task?" "I did." Aizen turned to Grimmjow and smiled. "Thank you for picking up, Ulquiorra. Now come along. We have much work to do." Ulquiorra nods and walks after him. Grimmjow gets up. 'Right…working with this bastard…' Another flash of light quickly engulfed him.

Back in the waiting room, Oichi had come back with Danni. She was wearing a cute light blue lace shirt and black leggings and flats. Danni had done a quick wash on her hair and had managed to get it fit in a nice tight bun. Jess had returned and was sitting in Orihime's spot. Oichi sat down beside Jess and Danni sat on her other side. "Where is Ichigo?" She asked. "He should be on his way back." Orihime says smiling. "How are you feeling sis?" Jess asked. "Worried…" Oichi says holding her hands together. Toshiro walked in. "Oichi."

"Toshiro!? Who took my babies? Why was Grim shot…" Oichi says going back into a panic. "Calm down sweetie, let him talk." Danni says rubbing her back. Toshiro sighs. "We processed your house and Grimmjow's job. It seems the shooting and the kidnapping were indeed made by one person." "One person. Y-You sound as if you already know who it is." "We do…but we still needed the evidence. Your dog, Damien was taken to the vet for a broken leg. He bit the person who took the twins. "Damien! Oh no!" Oichi tears up again. "Who took my babies!" "Tesra Lindocruz." Oichi held her breath for a second. "Oh…Oh my God…h-how could…I…he was…" She rubbed her face shaking. "Oichi? Do you know anything?" Toshiro asked. "Before I heard the shot, Grimmjow was talking to someone. I heard him say that if Nnoitra loved him so much why was he with Nel and not him, and I thought he was talking to Tesra. He must have asked Grimmjow a question and Grimmjow blew him off. I wanted to ask what was going on, but he told me he didn't want him staying with us." She shook more. "Tesra shot him!? But why did he take my children! They are innocent! Why does he have a grudge against us!? We have done nothing to him!" "We don't know Oichi, we think he might not be working by himself." "D-Do you think it's Luppi?" She asked. "No, he is in maximin security, under 24/7 guard." Oichi started to cry again. "Then WHY did he take my KIDS!" She screamed. Toshiro frowned. "Oichi…"

Kendric frowned and got up. He walked over to Oichi. "Kenny. Not now okay. The adults are talking." Danni says. Kendric looked. "S-Sorry mama…" Oichi looks at him. "I…try to help." He rubbed his cheek. "Try to help babies…my…sissy's…" Tears leaked out and ran down his cheeks. "I weak…old mama was right…I no good." Oichi's eyes widen. "No, No, Kenny." She cleared her face. "Y-You tried to help your sisters. You did the best that you could. It's not your fault okay." Kendric started to cry rubbing his eyes. "I'm bad!" He yelled shocking Danni and Jess. "Oh honey, come here." Kendric ran to her. She picked him up and hugged him. Toshiro sighs softly. "We found the gun that was used on Grimmjow, and his phone was smashed into pieces. We are going to find him Oichi. Can you tell me where Nel is? We know that Ulquiorra and Nnoitra are also looking for him, but we need to find him before they do. I don't think a man like Nnoitra will let him live for too long. We need to find his partner or whoever he is working with." "Nel is in the room with Shelia and Amanda. On the second floor." Jess says. Toshiro nodded. "Thank you. Oichi as soon as we have any news you will be the first to know." Oichi nodded. "Thank you." Toshiro walked off to the nurse's station. Seconds after he left, Uryu walked in. Oichi and the others stood up. "Uryu! How is he!?" Oichi asked. "There were shards of the bullet near his shot. He lost a lot of blood, but we were able to get the shards out and stitch him back up." "So he is okay!?" Oichi asked.

"We did what we could, but he is unconscious. It is now up to him. I'm afraid we don't know when he will wake up." Oichi bit her lip hugging Kendric tighter. "Can I see him?" Uryu nods. "Yea, I figured you wanted to before we place him in a room…" Oichi gave Kendric to Danni and followed Uryu to the back. He opened the door as the nurses got things cleaned up. Grimmjow was wearing an oxygen mask and the heart monitor was beeping steadily. Oichi walked to the side of the bed. "Oh, Grimmjow…" She reached out and rubbed his cheek. It was cold. "Please wake up…you can't just leave me like this. Our babies need you more than ever now. I need you to so please fight to come back to us."

Uryu placed a hand on her shoulder. "I need to get him moved. When he is in his room, I'll come to get you okay?" Oichi nods. One of the nurses escorted her back to the waiting room. Uryu looked down at Grimmjow and sighs.

As hours passed into the early morning, everyone had gone home Once, news of Grimmjow came down. Oichi had stayed at the hospital by Grimmjow's side. Ichigo had brought Cyrus to her and Kendric stayed with her as well. When Amanda and Shelia recovered, Ben took them home with him. They were devastated that Naomi and Alisha were taken. Jess and Nova had gone over to Florina's. She didn't feel as comfortable going home without Ulquiorra and she was worried about Flo.

In Grimmjow's private room, Oichi was sitting in the chair holding Grimmjow's hand and rubbing his arm. He was warmer than he was before, and she took that as a good sigh. She turned back to see the pull-out couch that was placed in the room. Kendric and Cyrus were laying on it asleep. She smiles softly and turns back to Grimmjow. He still wore the oxygen mask. An hour ago, he had issues breathing on his own. A tear drops down Oichi's already puffy cheeks. There was a knock at the door and it open. Kensei walked in with a bag of fresh clothes. He frowned. "You look a mess." Oichi sniffed and rubbed her eye. "Sorry…" "Come on, go take a shower before the kids get up." Oichi let go of Grimmjow's hand. "H-Has there been any news on the girls?" Kensei shook his head. "Not yet…" Oichi looks down. "What if he hurts them…they are just babies…" "Oichi, don't think like that…we are putting this on the news as we speak. Anyone who has a hunch on where they are will contact us. Now here. Shower now. That's an order." Oichi walked up to him and grabbed the bag. She went to the bathroom and closed it behind her.

In the abandoned building, Tesra was woken from his sleep by crying. He sits up from the floor and saw the twins. They were crying. "Shit." He got up and rushed to them. "Hey, don't cry…um…are you hungry?" He looked around and rushed to the kitchen. He started going through stuff. Most of the food there was expired. "Crap…Crap…" He ran back to the girls who kept crying. 'If they keep going then I'm sure to be found!' He picked the girls up and started to bounce them. It soothes them out for a bit. Naomi rubbed her eyes. "Mama!" "Your mom isn't here right now. "MAMA!" She yelled. On the side of the wall, he heard banging. "Shut up over there!" He heard a woman scream through the walls.

Tesra took a blanket and wrapped the girls in it. "I can't stay here in the city…" He opened the door and walked down the stairs and went out the back door. Checking around the corners he kept his head down and walked down the street. Luckily, there weren't as many people walking around this morning. The girls started to whimper getting antsy in his arms. "Shh…" He says holding them close. For once him keeping his head down and staying low like an ant was keeping him unnoticed. He needed to get out of the city and into the forest. He could think better when he wasn't surrounded by cops. Plus, it wouldn't be long until Nnoitra would figure out that it was him who was causing all of this. He skipped through the alley and made it past a patrolling cop car. The girls started to get once again antsy, moving in his arms. "Just a little bit more. If I can cross over the last street, I can run out of the city limits and right into the forest." When the coast was clear to him, he made a run for it. However, his goal was cut short as he ran into someone. He fell back on the ground holding the girls. "Well now…aren't you in a rush." Tesra looked up to see a man with purple hair and green eyes. He was wearing a flaming red shirt with the chest area open and black skinny jeans and converses. He looked down at Tesra and smiled. "Need a hand? I bet caring for two kids on your own is hard."

He reached his hand out. Tesra looked at his hand. "Come now, if you wait too long then…" He bends down with a smirk and whispered. "Then the cops and your friends are going to find you." He pointed across the street. Tesra look and his eyes widen to see Ulquiorra and Nnoitra walking out of a store together. "N-No! They can't find me! Please help!" The man chuckled. "Then come along." He pulled Tesra up by his arm right as a car pulled up. The door opened and the man pushed Tesra inside right as Ulquiorra turned his head towards them. The man meets his gaze, smiles, and waves before getting in the car. It drove off. "This is a dead-end too." Nnoitra says with a sigh. He balled up the piece of paper in his hand. "Dammit, where the fuck is that shit head." Ulquiorra kept his eye on the car until it disappeared. "We should take a break for now. You know Tesra more than me so you should find more spots where he will hang out at. I have another led I'm going to track down." Nnoitra sighs. "Whatever." His phone rings. He answered it quickly. "What! I'm busy!" "Don't yell at me!" He jumped at Nel's voice. "Nel…" "Get your ass home NOW!" She snapped at him. "No, I haven't found Tesra yet!" "I know, but you running around the city isn't going to get shit done. You have all this camera footage here, I'm sure there is something that you can use to find the bastard. If Ulquiorra is with you, tell him to go home too! Jess is worrying herself to death and she isn't going to listen to us if we tell her to rest!" Nnoitra turned to Ulquiorra who let out a sigh. "Very well…" "He heard you…" "Good, now come home. Please." She hangs up. "I'll let you know what I find but I doubt it will be much." Ulquiorra nods and walks off.

Nia was home, frowning. She was stirring some pancake batter as she watched the news from the kitchen. Ty and Kim were sitting on the floor also watching. A picture of Naomi and Alisha was on TV as the news report went on about them missing. Kim jumped up. "Mom, are they going to find them?" Nia smiles. "I'm sure they will be found soon." Ty jumped on the couch. "Is brother looking for them?" Nia sighs sightly. "Most likely." Ty smiled. "Then he is going to find them! Big bro can find anything!" Kim smiles. "Yeah!" They giggled together. Nia sighs mentally. 'Terry…'

Her doorbell rings out. "Oooo! He is here!" Kim yelled. Ty slides off the couch and ran to the door. He opened it in haste and saw Byakuya standing there with a bag. "Mr. Kuchiki! Mom! He's here!" He said slamming the door in his face, a bad habit of his. "Ty! What have I told you about slamming doors in people's faces after you opened the door!" She rushes to the door and opens it again. "Sorry, Byakuya." "It's fine." She let him in. Ty was pouting while Kim laughed at him. "Sorry…" He says. Byakuya held the bag out. Kim gasps. "Treats!" She ran to him and grabbed the bag. "Thank you!" "Okay, you two. Upstairs." They nodded and ran upstairs giggling. "Don't hog them all to yourself!" Ty yelled.

"So much energy…" "Nia." She turned to Byakuya. "How are you holding up?" Nia frowned and looked at the TV. "I'm worried…I bet Oichi is a complete mess. I can only imagine what she is going through right now." She felt his arms wrap around her. "We are hoping the public saw something during the kidnapping." He rested his chin on her head. "They will find the girls and put this nightmare to rest." Nia smiles. "I know."

~Grimmjow's mind~

Grimmjow was sitting in a cell. It was his fourth time going to jail. He had gotten caught beating up some clients of Aizen. He was this close to killing them when he heard Oichi's voice again. He sighs. 'If I'm reliving the moments of my life, why am I thinking of all the shitty moments. Is this a way of telling myself that my life was terrible before I meet Oichi?' So far, he had relived the first time he took a life that was boring as hell to him. He went through getting his ass kicked by Barragan for calling him an old fart. That was actually pretty nostalgic. What really started to bother him though, was that after that one time he had no early memories of Oichi. It bugged him that at this point in time Ulquiorra could have been busy stalking her now. The cell door opened. He looked up to see Tosen. He sighs. "My oh my, between you and Nnoitra I don't know who is going to be in jail the most." Grimmjow rolled his eyes. "Whatever, those idiots snitched on me. I'll rip their tongues out when I find them. Mmhm…come along we cannot stay here for long."

Grimmjow followed Tosen out of the cell and they walked out through the back. The camera feeds were cut so no one notice them leaving. Once they made it outside, there was a car waiting for them. Tosen opened the door and got in, however, once Grimmjow got in he was hit was a wave of light, making him sigh. "Oh, come on…when will this end…"

When his eyes adjust, he was now looking up at the ceiling of his old apartment. He was an adult now. Sitting up he rubbed his head. "Finally…maybe I'm getting to the end of this reliving…" He then frowned. "Wait…if that's true…" He looked at his hand. "What the hell…so all I really did was fight and kill…that's really it?" He rubbed his face. "What did I get accomplished during all that time? A high rank in Aizen's stupid building? I know how that goes." He groans out loudly and falls back on the bed. His eyes stared at the ceiling. "Where did I go wrong. I was supposed to aim for the top and yet I settled for getting my hands dirty for a prick like Aizen."

The room around him started to vanish. He started to see Oichi's face pop up along with the twins, Kendric, and Cyrus. He reached up for Oichi. "I wonder it would be like if I would have just made a move on you before that rat bastard hurt you. If I reach the top of something no matter what it was, would I still be able to have you?" His eyes grew heavy. "Oichi…"

He saw her smile and reach out a hand to him. He smiled back and grabbed her hand. It was soft and warm. "Oichi." "Grim…" Suddenly the image of her smiling shattered. His snapped opened and he sat up. The smell of blood reached his nose. Images of bodies started to appear around him. He stood up and looked down at his hands. They were covered in blood. "W-What did you do." He looked up to see Oichi kneeling in front of him. She was shaking. "Oichi?" He walked up to her. "Babe?" He reached out to touch her, but she smacked his hand away. Grimmjow backed up. "Your nothing but a beast! A monster!" She got up and started to run from him.

Fear and anger creep up inside Grimmjow. Something he would never admit. "Oichi wait!" He ran after her. Catching up to her he grabbed her hand. "No! Let me go!" She screamed in horror. "I'm not letting you go! Calm down. Why are you saying this shit?" "Are you going to kill me too!?" She cried out. "I would never hurt you." "LIAR! Your nothing but a bloodthirsty beast! How could I have ever thought to have a life with someone like you!" "You want to leave me?" He pulled her close to him and grabbed her chin. "After everything, we've been through you want to leave me!?" He says growing angry. "You think I will let you go so easily!?" Oichi screams, pushing away from him. "Help! I don't want to die!" "Why are you acting like this!? Why are you…" Oichi vanished from his grip. "Oichi!?" He looked around. He was covered in darkness once more. "Oichi!?"

In the abandoned apartment Tesra had been staying in, Terry was inside with a sigh. 'Looks like I just missed them.' The window slide opened, and he watched a figure slip in. He chuckled. "I see you are still here sneaking around Ay, River." In front of him, River was in a dark purple bodysuit with a black mask covering her face. She pulled it down and smiled at him. "Terry…I guess you're looking for the twins as well." "They are my cousins after all. I guess Jess ordered you to look for them as well." "Of course…" She walked up to him and placed a finger on his chest. She rubbed down to his stomach and to the edge of his belt buckle. "But she didn't say I couldn't enjoy a little pleasure along the way." She says with a smirk. Terry grabbed her hand with a chuckle. "Does she know about us?" "No…does Dante?" "No. Not yet at least." River giggled. "We are going to have to tell them eventually." "True for now though, let's focus on the twins." River backed away and looked around the apartment. "They were here all night. The smell of cherries lingers." Terry nods. "Oichi bathes them in a cherry scent body wash. It makes their skin soft and smooth and carries a strong smell."

"Interesting. Did she do that on purpose? In case this would happen?" River asked walking to the kitchen. "No, I don't think she realized it. The twins liked it, so she kept using it." Terry says walking over to the window. "He tore through the kitchen like he was looking for something." River says picking up a spilled box of expired cereal." "The twins most likely woke up and started crying. He must have panicked and looked for food. The walls are thin here as well so the twins crying might have gained some attention. He couldn't stay here." River sighs. "Where could he have gone?" "He could have snuck out through the back door. It's too risky to leave out the same way he came in. He might be trying to make it to the forest. They love hiding out there for some reason." "Okay, then I'll just watch the outskirts of the city. He couldn't have gone that far with hungry twins." "Alright, I'll keep looking around here." River walks over to him and wraps her arms around him. Standing on her tippy toes she kissed him with a hum. Terry chuckled wrapping his arm around her waist. They parted. "Be careful out there. Uncle is on a rampage." Terry says. River nods and pulls her mask up. In a flash, she was gone. Terry sighs. "Back to the grind."

Orihime, Tatsuki, and Rukia were over at her house eating breakfast. Ichigo was out with Renji in a search party looking for the twins. The kids were in the room still sleeping. Rukia sighs as she sips on her coffee. "It's been a while since we had coffee together." She says with a smile. "Usually, we are at the coffee bar." Tatsuki says. Orihime nods. "Yeah, with Rangiku and Momo and the others. It's a wonderful hang-out spot for our girl time." They sipped on their coffee in silence before Tatsuki groans. "I can't deal with this! If we can't join the search parties, we should at least do something for Oichi!" "Like what?" Orihime says. "Cook! I doubt she or Kenny has eaten at all. We should make her a good meal that will make her pass out and force herself to sleep." Orihime and Rukia smiled as they stood up. "I'll head to the store! I can pick up her favorite tea blend!" Rukia says. "Should we call Nel and Jess? I'm sure they would want to help?" "Na, Jess needs her rest and so does Nel." Tatsuki rolled up her sleeves. "Let's have the kids help decorate some muffins or cookies. I bet that will cheer Oichi up."

At the hospital, Oichi was now wearing a dark purple sweater dress with black leggings and flats. Her hair was in a bun. Kendric was up and eating some jello the nurses had brought him. Kensei was holding Cyrus who was staring up at him. Kensei looked nervous. "Oichi…maybe you should hold your son…he is staring at me." Oichi chuckled. "That means he likes you." Kensei sighs. "It makes me uneasy." Oichi shakes her head. "Try to bounce him a little. He might even giggle a little for you." Kensei gave her a look like he didn't want to but did a slight bounce. Cyrus's eyes widen and he smiled, letting out a giggle. "W-Whoa!? He did it. He really giggled! I did it!" Oichi laughed. "See, he likes you. Nothing to be worried about. He is much calmer than the girls."

They heard a groan. Oichi turned back to Grimmjow who was frowning. "Grim?" She took his hand. "Honey…?" She suddenly felt a squeeze. "Grimmjow?" His hold got tighter and tighter. "Oichi…don't leave…" "I'm right here. I'm not going to leave. Come and wake up honey." "I won't…let you leave." Kensei frowned hearing that. "Oh, honey. I would never leave you. I lov…" Just then Grimmjow squeezed her hand tighter than he had ever before. She let out a scream as she felt a snap. Kendric jumped, dropping the jello. "Grimmjow stop! Let go!" She yelled. Kensei put Cyrus down who started to cry from Oichi's scream.

Kensei rushed to Oichi and tried to pry her hand free from Grimmjow's. "Damn! It's like he has a death grip on your hand." Grimmjow squeezed again. Oichi screamed louder, gaining the attention of Uryu and Nemu who were on their way to do a check-up on Grimmjow. They burst into the room and saw the scene. "What is going on!?" "The hell if I know! He started squeezing Oichi's hand and he isn't letting go!" Kensei said still trying to get Oichi's hand. "Nemu the sedative quickly!" Uryu says rushing to Oichi's side. Nemu grabbed a needle off the cart and ran over to Grimmjow's side. She injected the sedative in his arm patch. It worked quite well, as his body relaxed, and his grip loosen. They were able to pull Oichi. She was in tears as Uryu examined her hand. "Kensei, can you watch them?" "Yea, yea, help Oichi!"

Uryu and Nemu helped Oichi up and escorted her out of the room. Kensei frowned and looked at Grimmjow who was mumbling something. 'What the hell was that about…' He was knocked out of his thoughts by Cyrus crying. Kendric was rubbing his belly. "Don't cry…" Kensei walked over to them and picked up Cyrus he started bouncing him. It calmed him down. Kendric looked at Grimmjow. "Why he hurt mama?" "I don't know kid…I guess we have to wait until he wakes up."

In a luxury, two-story home, towards the middle of the city, a car pulled up at the driveway. The door was opened by a driver as Tesra with the twins were pushed out of the car. The man who saved them got out and brushed himself off. "Ugh, you smell horrible…Have the car cleaned out?" He instructs the driver who nods. "Good." He grabs Tesra by his arm and drags him around the back of the house.

Reaching the back door, he opened it with a key and pulled Tesra in, slamming the door behind him. He kept pulling Tesra until they reached the living room. He pushed Tesra down on the couch and pulled the blanket that was covering the twins. Their eyes widen and then they started to tear up, scared of their unfamiliar surroundings. The man smiles and bends down. "Aw, don't cry. You will be with your mom soon okay." Naomi rubbed her eyes. "Mama?" "Yup! Can you smile for me? Come on give me a giggle." He made a funny face. Naomi smiled a little and gave him a giggle, but Alisha was still tearing. "W-Who are you?" Tesra asked holding the girls closer to him. They started to struggle a bit with him.

The man chuckled. "Look at you, trying to be all protective when you are the one who kidnapped them." He ran his fingers through his hair. "My name is Shuren. Your former bosses and I go way back. He called me up for a favor. Something about how one of his lab rats was unable to complete a simple task." He walked over to a table and picked up a syringe with a cap over it. "All he needed was a simple of blood, not a whole body. You went and made a fool of yourself, feeling mighty high because you shot a man like Grimmjow." "W-What are you doing?" Tesra asked. "Getting a blood sample. It won't leave a mark. But I will make this quick so you can get your ass out of my house. I loathe little boys like you. Luckily my taste in men is quite high quality."

Shuren walked over to the girls and bends down, looking at Naomi. She reached her hand out to him. "Hi…" "Hi, little one. You are quite cute." He reached up and grabbed her leg, pulling up her onesie. "This won't hurt a bit okay. Then we are going to get you back to your mommy." With the cap still on it placed the syringe on her leg. In an instant, she was poked and Shuren got a perfect blood sample. He did the same with Alisha who tensed up at his touch. Like he said the syringe didn't leave a puncture wound. He placed the syringe in a box on the table. "There. All done. Now as for you. Szayel has a message."

He dialed a number, placed his phone on speaker, and played a voice mail. It was a recorded message in a deep digital voice. "I figure you would find a way to screw up such an easy plan, so I already prepared a backup for you. This is what you are going to do, the girls are going to stay missing for a week. I know a few friends who can keep the cops running around like flies and any other nosey busy bodies that are looking for your clueless self. When a week is up, you are going to take the twins to the park and leave them at the gazebo, where they will be found. I advise you to quickly drop them off and come back to the cabin. I can't guarantee your safety after that. Now, should you get caught, let me remind you that I have something planted in the back of your head…"

Tesra's eyes widen. "What!?" "Do you think I would let you walk out of my sight without something to leverage? If you so much as get caught you will take the blame for this. You will not give out anyone's name or I will be a force to dispose of you and trust me. I think you would rather live than get your head exploded. So once again I would advise you to not get caught. Once you are clear, and I have what I need, maybe, JUST maybe, I will finally help you get your master Nnoitra back if that is still what you want." Tesra bit his lip as the message ended. Shuren chuckled and deleted the message. "You have your orders Tesra. Don't be a pansy and mess this up. You already completed shooting Grimmjow. You proved that you could carry out this mission as well, right? All for getting back your Master." He reached out and pats Tesra's head. "As well, please remember that if you do snitch then 'pop' goes your head. Let's not go down that route, okay?"

"Now, I have prepared a week's worth of food for the girls and only the girls. You will have to find food on your own." He walked over to the side couch and grabbed a baby bag. He tossed it on the floor. "If any harm shall come to the twins, you will die. If you get caught and spill the beans you will die. I suggest you stay in a shelter in Hueco Mundo until a week is over. No more no less. Now get out please." He rubbed Naomi and Alisha's cheeks. "I will see you very soon little ones. Very, soon."

Tesra grabbed the bag and was escorted to the back door. The door slammed behind him making him and the girls jump. Tesra bit his lip. "It's only a week…just a week…" He covered the girls up and power walked away from the house. 'I can stay hidden for a week…' However, as soon as he reached the streets, he heard the siren of a cop car. "Hey, you! Stay right there!" Tesra quickly turned his head and saw two cops getting out of their car. "Shit!" He took off sprinting. "We found the suspect! He is heading on the corner of Edgewood and Clarity! He is wearing a dark blue shirt with black pants and shoes. Carrying a blanket and what looks to be a baby bag! He is on foot. Repeat he is on foot."

Tesra ran around the corner, slamming into people. He breathes heavily and turned down an alley. It led to a dead-in. "Oh no…Oh no…" "He went that way!" Someone yelled. Tesra bit his lip and saw a door. Running to it, he kicked the door opened and ran straight through the building until he got to the other side. An older man was opening the door to the other side. Tesra nearly ran him over and rushed out the door. There was a gate that had a tearing through the middle. Enough for him to fit through. He tossed the bag over and started crawling through with the twins. He felt a scratch on his back, but he ignored it as he heard sirens coming right at him. Making it through, he grabbed the bag and jet through the small, wooded area that connected to the old shelter homes near Hueco Mundo. A door opened and a young lady was walking out. Tesra rushed to her. "Excuse! Me! Please hold the door!" The lady turned and held the door open for him. "Thank you so much! I kind of have my hands full." The lady ignored him and closed the door, locking it behind her. Tesra signs in relief. Looking around, the shelter had a lot of people staying in it, due to the weather. He walked to the far corner and grabbed an open bed. He placed the twins down and kept their heads covered. Sitting on the floor he sighs and opens the bag. He pulled out two juice cups. "I bet you two are hungry." He held the cups out to them. Naomi took her and started drinking. Alisha stared at it and didn't take it. Tesra frowned. "Once you are hungry you will take it." He put it down. "Once a week is over you can go back to that woman…since you will be the only thing left of that man."

At Jess's, she was pacing in the living room with the tv on. Nova was sitting on her play mat watching her. Her eyes then widen as River appeared in front of the tv and bowed. "Lady Jess." Jess turned to her. "Well?" "I got sight of them as they were running from the police, however, I lost sight of them after that man nearly killed an elderly man. I took him to the hospital to get proper medical care." Jess bit her lip and gripped her fist. "How could such a man be holding the girl's captive. I want them found River. NOW!" River bows. "I will not fail you, my lady." She disappeared. "Ooo!" Nova says with sparkling eyes. Jess sighs and rubbed her back. She starts to tear right as the door opens. Nova smiled and jumped up. "Daddy!" She ran around the couch. Ulquiorra walked in and noticed Jess pacing as tears ran down her cheeks. "Daddy! Daddy!" He looked down to see Nova with her arms up. He picked her up and walked over to Jess.

He grabbed her arm, stopping her from pacing. "Stop that." Jess sniffs. "I'm so worried. What am I supposed to do?" "Relax. They are going to be found." "Did you find anything?" "I was on the verge…but then Nel said you wanted me to come home. It was a good thing since you are on the brink of worrying yourself half to death." Jess rubbed her teary eyes. "My nieces are missing and Grimmjow got hurt. Oichi is worrying herself more than I. I just want to do something than just sit here." "I know but, there is nothing we can do is wait. Teresa is an idiot, yes, but he will not hurt those children. He has always been too weak to do what he really wants. Without Nnoitra he is nothing but a worthless puppet." He led Jess to the couch and sat her down. He grabbed the remote and changed the channel to the food network. "Relax and I'll make you some green tea. If you keep stressing like this, you're going to end up right in the room next to Grimmjow." He put Nova down. "No daddy! Up!" "No, I need to make your mother some tea. Comfort her. She isn't feeling good." Nova's eyes grew wide and looked at her mother. "Mama?" She watched Jess rub the tears from her eyes. Ulquiorra picked her up and placed her on the couch. She crawled over to Jess and hugged her belly. "Mama!" Jess sniffed and smiled rubbing her back. Ulquiorra let out a soft sigh. 'Such a troublesome woman sometimes…' He walks to the kitchen. 'Not that I can complain though…I can be quite troublesome as well.'

Three days passed, the city was still on alert looking for Tesra and the kids. There were calls coming in left and right about the sightings of Tesra. They all led to dead ends.

At the hospital, in Grimmjow's room. He groans slightly and his eyes open. He blinks and looks up at the ceiling. 'Great…is this another one…when was the last time I was in the hospital? It could be anytime, but the recent time would be the car accident when Oichi was pregnant with the twins…' He heard a gasp. He turned to the side to see Kendric. His hair was messy as he sat up fully on the bed. 'Kenny? Wait I'm not dreaming?' Kendric starts to shake someone beside him. "Mama! MAMA!" He yelled. He watched Oichi jump up. "What!? What's wrong!?" Kendric points to Grimmjow. Oichi turns to the bed and her eyes widen and tears up, quickly. "Grimmjow!" She pushes the blanket off, jumps over Cyrus who was still asleep. She nearly slipped as she ran to the bed in tears. "Grimmjow!" Tears ran down her cheeks, reaching the bed. She kissed him on the lips repeatedly. He grabbed her shoulder, holding her still. "Oichi, hold on…wait…" He winces causing her to stop. "I'm so sorry! You're still hurt!" "No, well yes…but just…what the hell happened?" "I need to call Uryu!" She says rushing to the door. Grimmjow sighs until she opened the door. "Kensei!" She called out. That made him frown. "Why are you calling that fucker!?" Kensei came rushing to her call. "Hey! What's…" He saw Grimmjow and frowned. "Oh…he's awake…" Grimmjow's eyes twitched at his tone.

There were two police officers at the door, which made Grimmjow curious. "Go tell Uryu that Grimmjow is awake." One of them nodded and walked off. Oichi let Kensei in the room, and he closed it behind him. "Welcome back to the living." He says. Grimmjow rolled his eyes. "What's with the policemen at the door…surely me getting shot by that asshole didn't stir up too much trouble." Oichi frowned. She walked to the bed and grabbed his hand with her right hand. "Honey…a-after you got shot…H-He…h…he…" She tears more. "He what?" He squeezed her hand making her gasp. Kensei quickly pulled her away from him. "Hey! What the hell!?" Grimmjow tried to sit up but held his chest. Oichi pulled away from Kensei and pushed him down. "No! Don't try to move!" Grimmjow glared at Kensei. "Who the fuck do you think you are, pulling her away from me!?" He snapped.

Kensei glared at him and grabbed Oichi's arm. "Wait Kensei!" Oichi says. He pulled her arm up showing Grimmjow her left hand. It was wrapped. Grimmjow blinks, looking at her hand. "What happened!?" "You happened you psycho! In your sleep, you squeezed her hand so tight that you broke it!" Grimmjow's eyes grew wide in shock. "What!? No, I…" He placed a hand on his face. "Did I…" Oichi snatched away from Kensei. "Honey no. It was just an accident okay. I'm fine." She tried to grab his hand, but he pulled away. It tugged at her heart a bit. "Did I really…hurt you?" He had a sad expression on his face. Oichi rubbed her arm. "Not on purpose…Uryu said that your body had a reaction to whatever you had been dreaming about probably…" Grimmjow looked away. He remembered the last thing he visibly saw was Oichi trying to get away from him. Calling him a monster and murderer and here he was…hurting her in his sleep. 'Am I really nothing but a monster…' His thoughts were interrupted by Oichi taking his hand. He tried to pull away, but she wouldn't let go. "Don't pull away from me!" Oichi says in tears. "Oichi I…" "Right now, my hand doesn't matter! I'm not letting some as little as this create any doubt about how I feel about you! It's much too late for me to look at you any different. I love you! You are going to be my husband! No matter what you did or have done I have already looked past that. So don't…" She sniffed. "Don't ever pull away from me like that." Grimmjow sighs softly as he held her hand. "I'm sorry…"

Oichi started crying even more. "Hey, babe. Don't cry I didn't mean…" Oichi shook her head. "No…what I was trying to say before…after you got shot…He…Tesra…he took the girls!" Grimmjow's eyes widen once more and he sat up quickly, ignoring the pain in his chest. "WHAT!?" "While I was here with you, he went to the house and knocked out Amanda and Shelia and hurt Kenny…" Grimmjow looked at Kendric. He could see a small patch on his cheek. "I need to get up. Where are my clothes." He says Kensei sighs. "You are still in recovery. You can't." "Fuck off! My girls are missing, and you expect me to…" "You need to stay here." Kensei says in a calm voice. It threw Grimmjow off for a bit. "Oichi was the one who found you…she hasn't left your side for four days…hell last night we had to force her to get some sleep before she passed out again on you." Grimmjow looked at Oichi who was still crying. "Everyone is out there looking for the girls. I promise you. Even the old man has made it his personal vendetta to get them back. He hasn't stopped barking orders. If you can't stay here and recover for yourself at least do it for Oichi. At least get her to get some rest. Let us do our jobs and bring your kids back." Grimmjow sighs. "Fine, fine! But the moment I get a feeling back into my body, I'm getting out of here. You better find my daughters or there will be hell to pay." Kensei sighs. "Yeah, yeah…Oichi get in the bed." "Huh?" She says wiping her cheeks. "Bed. Now. Get so sleep dammit." Oichi pouted slightly until Grimmjow pulled on her hand. "As much as I hate to say it, listen to the guard dog. You look terrible. I see the bags under your eyes and…" He lifted her arm. "You lost weight in just four days…not eating I see." "How could I when you and my babies are in danger." She climbed into beds. "Me to!" They heard Kendric call out.

Kensei walked over and picked him up along with Cyrus. He put Kendric on the other side of Grimmjow. "I'll keep Cy with me. At least until he wakes up." Grimmjow narrowed his eyes as Oichi cuddled up to him. "Since when did I give you permission to even touch my son?" Kensei ignored him and opened the door. "Hey!" A police officer closed the door behind him. "Damn him…Oichi we are going to need to talk about…" He looked down to see Oichi had already passed out. "Mama sleepy…" Kendric says. "Yeah…" He looks at Kendric. "You okay squirt?" Kendric frowned. "Yeah…no help to babies…I try…weak…" He sniffed getting upset. Grimmjow rubbed his head. "I know you did. It's okay. Right now, you can't do much but when you grow older you are going to be able to protect everyone better okay." "Okay…" "Get some rest, I know you have been up keeping your mom company. I'm here now." Kendric cuddled up to Grimmjow and dozed off. Grimmjow held back a sigh. 'While I was out sleeping and dreaming of stupid stuff, my family was suffering. I swear I'll kill that bastard for laying hands on Naomi and Alisha.'

At Riruka's apartment, Ben was on the phone with the family lawyer. He was selling the house and the land of their father. As much as he loved staying with Riruka, he wanted to get them a bigger place and since he only worked part-time at the café now, it wasn't something he wanted to do long term. When his phone call was done, he sighs. "It's done. I just have to sign some documents and we will be done with that house forever." He walked into the kitchen and saw Amanda at the stove cooking for everyone. "Looks like you know how to cook now?" He asked a bit shocked. Amanda smiles. "Yeah, Ms. Oichi was teaching me, and sometimes she let me make dinner for the family. I still make a lot of mistakes, but I don't burn as much stuff as I use to." Ben smiles and pats her head. "How are you feeling?" "Terrible…because of me…the twins got taken…" He frowns and shakes his head. "No, don't do that to himself." Amanda looked at him with tears. "It was my fault! Had I not been so trusting I wouldn't have let that man into the house! I put all of us in danger and because of my stupidness…" She looks down at her tears hitting the floor. "Maybe…she was right about me…I'm just a worthless girl who can't do anything right."

Ben grabbed her shoulders. "Sis don't let her get into your mind. Father was the one who pushed you into the life you wanted. You are the daughter of Barragan Louisenbairn. We hold our heads up high and are proud. Nothing shakes us. We are all leaders in our own rights. Our name alone holds more power than that woman ever had. How many times did father preach this to us when we made mistakes?" Amanda rubs her eyes. "A lot." Ben smiles. "The girls will be found and Oichi hasn't blamed you for any of this. What we should be doing is working on these cooking skills. Once they get out of the hospital, they won't be able to move around so you have to take charge." Amanda nods and hugs him. "Thanks, Ben." He hugs her back. "Any time sis."

Another two days passed, Tesra had barely managed to stay on the low. In the past three days, he had to switch from four different shelters. He learned that the police weren't the only one who was hunting him down. In the first shelter, he saw a young man looking around, when their eyes locked by mistake, he made a B line right for him. If it wasn't for a few girls who stopped the young man, he would have been caught. He was able to slip out and run off to another shelter. However, that turned out to be a bust. That night, Toshiro had gotten a tip that he was hiding out in the shelters and the police force was searching every single one. He was no longer safe indoor. He made the choice to stay on the streets in back alleys avoiding being sighted. Luckily. With the food, he was able to keep the twins settled down, though they were looking worse for wear. Going through a week, Alisha wasn't eating as much as Naomi and was turning pale and looked weak. Naomi who was eating just find was running a fever and was sneezing left and right. He was unsure what to do. All he managed was to keep them barely fed and tried to keep them warm from the cold elements.

Today though, he planned to be home free as he ran to the park. The police force was on full alert. It was hard to walk down the street and it didn't help that his face was up everywhere. By some miracle though, he was able to slip into the park. Looking left and right he reached the pathway that led to the gazebo. No one was there but a few teenagers playing around. He sneaks over to the gazebo and placed the twins in the seating. He handed Naomi the last juice cup. Gulping he sneaked back out and hid behind a large tree. 'Now…I just need to get out of here before the cops show up…' He shook. 'I need to make it back before anyone sees me…I've gotten this far. I can make it. I can do this!' He ran off, not even bothering to look back.

Naomi pushes the blanket off her and looked around. She heard her sister whimpering. Alisha had fallen over and was laying down. Naomi crawled over to her and shook the juice cup. "Foo…" She sneezed and shivered. Crawling over to her more she put the juice cup near Alisha's face. "Foo…" She says. Alisha opened her eyes a bit and grabbed the cup. She started to sip on the cup just a little. Naomi sneezed loudly and it scared her. She started to tear up and cry. Her cries echo through the park, mixed with couching. The teenagers who were playing heard this and ran over to the gazebo. "Whoa! Look there are babies over here!" "Where are the parents? Who leaves kids out like this. They look sick." "What should we do?" Naomi cried more. "MAMA!" She screamed out. "Wow…she's super loud…" The teens said covering their ears.

"Hey what are you kids doing over there?" The teens glanced behind them to see Kokuto walking up to them. Behind him was another man who was holding a shopping bag. "Hey, mister! We found these babies. They don't look so good." "Babies!?" He walked over to the gazebo, and he gasps. "Naomi! Alisha!" Naomi stopped crying for a moment. She recognized Kokuto and reached up to him and restarted crying. Kokuto picked her and Alisha up. "One is burning up while one is freezing. What the hell are they doing out here. Hey babe you got something warm I can wrap them up with. This blanket they were in isn't going to cut it." The young man walked up with a smile. "I do, I just brought this cute blanket remember." "Yeah, sorry you have to use it like this." "Nonsense. These are babies. We can't let them get any sicker than they are." He pulled out a cute light blue blanket and walked over to him. They wrapped the twins in it together. "We should get to the hospital." Kokuto says running off. The young man smiled and then turned to the teenagers. "Did you kids happen to see who left them here?" They school their heads. "We just heard one of them crying and ran over." "I see…" "Hey…Hey! Shuren come on! We don't have time to waste!" "Coming!" Shuren smiles as the teens. "You boys just made a worried pair of parents happy. Thank you." He ran off, catching up to Kokuto.

Up in a tree, River had just landed in it, a few moments before the twins were found. She narrowed her eyes and then sighs. 'Looks like they were found…now we just need to find the snake who left them there. It's funny though. Those two just happen to be walking through the park…Mhmm…I need to collect more information on them.' She disappeared, leaving a few leaves floating down.

Kokuto and Shuren reached their car. "Hop in babe. I'll drive." Shuren says. Kokuto nods and gets in the passenger seat. "You are friends with the mother, right? Giver her a call." Shuren says speeding off. Kokuto hit the caller Id, through the car and called Oichi.

In Grimmjow's room at the hospital, Oichi was feeding Grimmjow some food while Kendric and Cyrus slept on his lap. Even with Grimmjow awake, Oichi still didn't get much sleep. Worrying about the girls. Her phone rings, making her sigh. She placed Grimmjow's food on the cart and grabbed it. "Oh, it's Kokuto…" "What does he want." Grimmjow asked. "Don't know." She answered. "Hello?" "Oichi!? Are you at the hospital!?" "Yea. Grimmjow woke up a few days ago." "Good! Great! Even better? I have the twins!" Oichi's stood up quickly. "You do! Where!? Where are you!?" She yelled, waking the kids up. "Heading straight to you!"

"What's going on?" Grimmjow asked rubbing Cyrus's back. "Kokuto found the girls! Oh, Kokuto thank you! Thank you!" "Meet us at the front." He says before hanging up. Oichi ran to the door and opened it. Kensei was just coming to open the door. "Oichi where…" She zoomed past him in a hurry, nearly running into nurses. "Hey, no running in the wing!" The nurse angrily yelled. Kensei groans and rushes after her.

After breaking many, many speeding laws, and coming close to hitting two or three people who were crossing the road, Shuren screeched into the parking lot of the ER. He didn't get time to shut off the car before Kokuto jumped out and ran towards the doors. Oichi was already waiting as she spotted him. "My babies!" She screamed running to him. Kokuto smiled as she took the twins from him. She fell to her knees crying uncontrollably. "Mama." Naomi says. "Ma…ma…" Alisha says softly. "Oichi they are both in bad shape. We need to get them inside." Kokuto says. Kensei ran over. "Oichi!" Oichi snapped back into her senses and got up. "Uryu! I need Uryu!" She ran past Kensei who groans. "Dammit woman! Stop running everywhere!" He rushed after her with Kokuto behind him.

Uryu was walking by with Nemu when Oichi ran back in. "Uryu help!" "Oichi? What are you doing outside? Wait are those…" "Kokuto found them, but they are sick!" Uryu quickly took them from her. "Okay, I'll go do a check-up on them." He rushed to the back. Oichi bit the back of her nail worried. Kokuto and Kensei caught up to her. "Where did they go?" "Uryu took them to the back to check on them." She looked at Kokuto. She hugged him. "Thank you! Thank you for finding my babies!" She cried. Kokuto smiled and hugged her back. "Anything for my friends. I couldn't leave them there." He rubbed her head as she cried more. Kensei sighs. "Sheesh…how many more times can you cry until you go dry…where did you find them?" "The park…looks like Tesra got cold feet finally and just decided to leave them…" Kensei sighs. "Can you watch her? I need to call Toshiro and tell him." Kokuto nods and watched him leave.

Oichi pulled away from him. "How can I ever repay you? You saved my girls!" Kokuto chuckled and wipes her tears with his thumbs. "Just keep being my friend and make it to a dinner with me. You and Grimmjow hardly make time." "I do agree with that statement." They turned around to see Shuren walking up with a smile. "Ooh…who are you?" Oichi asked wiping her tears away. Kokuto wrapped his arm around him. "This is my boyfriend. Shuren." "Oh! Its nice to meet you!" "Likewise. I've heard so much about you. It's a shame we had to meet under this unfortunate timing." Oichi smiled. "Yeah…but thank you for helping me. I have been worried sick about them. It's been such a rough week…" "I know, but now your family is back together again. I think that calls for a celebration, at your place of course." Kokuto rolled his eyes. "Come on, we should be hosting them." Oichi waves her hand. "No, no he is right, once Grim and the girls recover, you two should come over. As my way of thanks!"

Kokuto noticed her wrapped hand. "What happened to your hand?" Oichi frowned and hid it behind her back. "Oh…just an accident…it's nothing really." Kokuto raises his eyebrow. "Right…I guess someone squeezed your hand a bit too tightly?" Oichi turned her head. Shuren smacked his chest. "Really now, do not pry into her private affairs. If she doesn't want to say, then leave it at that." "We are her friends; she should tell us everything." "That isn't how that works you, dunce." Kokuto pouted a little. "Even so…we should be getting to be best friend status." Oichi giggled. "You saved my children Kokuto. If you want to be best friends, then I have no complaints." Kokuto smiled. "Alright, so as best friends we get to come over and eat all your food and drinks, right?" Shuren sighs, rubbing his face. "I'm just kidding babe." "Forgive him Oichi. He is just an idiot sometimes." Oichi chuckled. "He keeps things lively but, if you don't mind, I really want to be with my daughters. If you want to see Grim, he is in the private wing." "You did say he was awake. I think I may pop in." Oichi nods and rushes off to the back. Once she was gone, Kokuto kissed Shuren on the forehead. "Do I have to ask how you knew they were at the pack?" "No clue what you are talking about." Shuren says with a chuckle. "Mhm…we will talk about this later." Kokuto says heading to Grimmjow's room.

As the day went on, the call of the twins being found had spread around, calming down the manhunt. Tesra had disappeared and was nowhere to be found in the city for now. The girls both had fevers from being out in the weather and not eating well but they were going to recover in a day or so. They were placed in a separate room so that they could rest easier. Once their fever was down, they were able to be placed in the same room with Grimmjow.

Oichi was sitting in the children's ward with the twins who were sleeping together. Tomorrow was the first of March their birthday. "This isn't how I planned your second birthday to be but…so long as you both are back, I'm happy." She rubbed the twin's cheek. There was a knock at the door. Oichi looked up to see Jess walking in with Nova. "Oichi…we got the call from Kensei. The twins…" "They are okay. Just a slight fever. Though they were both fed, Alisha didn't eat as much. She doesn't eat food that comes from a stranger…my poor babies…" Jess walked over and sat on the other side of the bed. Nova ran over to her. "Auntie!" Oichi smiles and placed a finger over her lips. Nova gasps and covered her mouth. "Shh…" She says making the girls chuckle. "How is Grimmjow?" "He is okay, upset that he isn't cleared to move." Jess looks at her hand. "…what happened to your hand?" Oichi frowned and sighed.

"Everyone is going to keep asking about it…when Grimmjow was sleeping, he squeezed my hand so tightly that it broke, but I'm fine. The pain isn't that bad." She rubbed her hand. "It did scare me…Kensei said he heard him mumble something about never letting me leave him. I think he was having a nightmare." Oichi looked at the twins. "When he woke up and I tried to hold his hand he pulled away from me. He looked so sad when he learned that he hurt me. I've asked what he dreamed about but he won't tell me." Jess rolled her eyes. "That jerk. He scared you and now he won't tell you why he was scared. I bet it was something stupid. Men…" Oichi chuckled. "Maybe, but he will open up eventually." Jess shrugs. "I suppose. Oh! Ulquiorra and I talked about this. You and Grim are going to be staying with us for a while." "What? Why?" "You haven't been home in a week Oichi. You didn't see how much damage your house took. Then those police officers ransacked your home looking for clues and stuff, didn't even put anything back. Not to mention I'm pretty sure Rangiku and the other female officers took some of the clothes you made from your office. It's too dangerous for you and the kids to go back there. Grimmjow isn't going to magically get better it's going to take some time for his wounds to heal and you have to be on the lookout for yourself too."

She narrowed her eyes making Oichi jump. "You were out there in the rain with barely any clothes on! It was raining and you were soaked to the bone! Plus, you refused to eat and sleep while all this was going on! There is no way I'm letting you stay home with a wounded man, and two sick children when you're going to get sick yourself! So, you are coming to stay with us and that is final. Understand!?" Oichi huffed out. "Okay, okay, jeez you sound like mama…I guess Shelia and Amanda can stay with Ben for a little while longer." Jess nods in victory. "Great! I'll tell Ulquiorra to get the guest room in order, The twins can share a room with Nova, Kendric should be fine in the second guest room we are making for the baby, and I'll have a crib for Cy to be placed with you." Jess says taking out her phone to text Ulquiorra. "Oh! And we need to go shopping asap. You and the girls haven't eaten a proper meal in an entire week. No way you are eating me out of house and home." Oichi laughed.

Nighttime rolled around, right outside the city limits, Tesra was panting as he ran. He came to a stop and placed his hands on his knees to take a breath. "I…free…f-free…haha…Master, just wait for me. I will be back with you soon." "It seems like you celebrated a little too early there." Tesra jumped and turned to see the young man who had been chasing him before. "Hehe, the name is Terry. You took my little cousins and that was a bad move on your part." "Cousins…with those kids?" Terry smiles. "Yup! Looks like you were trying to escape my grasps, but I can't let that happen or I'll be in trouble." Just then River jumped down behind him with a slight pout. "You got to him before me." "Yup, you could have been caught him, but he had such dumb luck." Terry says laughing. "Oh, hush up." She took out a knife. "Well, then, let me be the one to finish him off. Lady Jess is quite upset that her nieces had got taken like that." Terry chuckled. "You look so cute when you're fired up like that." River let a giggle escape her lips before her eyes rose up." Terry rubs the back of his head. "Looks like time is up…"

Tesra frowned. He didn't know what he meant by that, but he needed to getaway. Turning around to run, he was hit in the chest hard. It knocked the wind out of him. Falling to the ground he started coughing heavily. It hurt to breathe. Glancing up he saw a manly figuring towing over him. His purple eyes were glaring down at him. "You put your hands on my grandchildren…for that, you are going to pay…" Tesra was too scared by his glare to even say something. "Dante."

River stood up and placed a hand on her hip. "Dante Yamamoto, father of Oichi…that man's head belongs to me." Reaching into his pocket, Dante, pulled out a cigarette and lit it. He breathes in softly before blowing out smoke. "Go home, little girl. I'm sure your princess told you not to bother me." River narrowed her eyes. "What did you call me?" "Don't make me repeat myself. Had you not played with your food…or rather…my foolish nephew over here…" Terry avert his eyes. "Then you would have killed him already. He is mine now. Deal with it." He reached down and grabbed Tesra by his throat. Tesra gasps as he was lifted up off the ground. "Now if you will excuse me. I have things to do with this piss ant." He turns around leaving Terry and River. River bit her lip under her mask. "He is such a jerk…like always." Terry sighs and smiles. "That is how he is, but all is well. The girls were found and Tesra will give us information on why he did what he did. Also, while uncle is doing is thing…" He wrapped an arm around River. "We can enjoy a little alone time for a job well done?" River blushed a bit and giggled. She reached up and twirled her fingers through his air. "Very well. It has been a long week. I could relieve some extra tension." "Then let's get going before we got another duty to do." He picked her up bridal style. She gasps slightly before letting a few giggles through. She cuddled in his chest as he walked off with her.

Back at the hospital, the girl's room was being guarded by Ikkaku and Yumichika who volunteered for the job. Jess had taken Cyrus home with her, but Kendric stayed with Grimmjow and Oichi. He refused to leave without them.

In Grimmjow's room, Oichi tucked Kendric in who was fast asleep. She was wearing a long button-up shirt with black shorts underneath. She had taken a quick shower and washed her hair out, putting it back in a bun. "Oichi…" She glanced over to Grimmjow who was sitting up. "What is it, honey?" "Come here." Oichi got up and walked to the bed. She sat on the bed beside him. Grimmjow grabbed her hand and rubbed the back of it. "Closer?" Oichi looked at Kendric and rubbed her cheek. "Okay…" She crawled closer to him. Grimmjow grabbed her leg and placed it over him, sitting her on his lap. "Grim…" He wrapped his arms around her. "I just want to touch you a little bit…" Oichi blushed and nodded. He smiled and brought her close, kissing her. She hums out.

His tongue rubbed her lips and she parted them, letting his tongue rub against the root of her mouth before exploring the insides. His hand ran up her back and then down. She moans softly, pushing her body up against him. Grimmjow then broke the kiss. His eyes darted over to Kendric to check if he was still sleeping.

He started to kiss down Oichi's neck, his right hand started to unbutton her shirt. She wasn't wearing a bra. Her breast pops out of the shirt making Grimmjow chuckle. "It's like your body is begging me to ravish you." Oichi blushed. "As much as I want to though, I don't want to wake Kenny and I don't want those stupid guards to hear your sweet moans."

He placed a hand on her waist and pulled her close to him, laying her head on his chest. "Your hand…are you sure your, okay?" "Yes. Don't worry about it. The main question is are you okay? I can't help but wonder what you were dreaming about to squeeze my hand like that." Grimmjow rubbed her back. "I'm not sure where to even start right now. Sorry…" "You don't have to apologize. You will tell me when you are ready. I'm not one to push. All that matters is that you and the girls are okay." She yawns and closes her eyes, falling asleep. Grimmjow rested his arm around her waist and leans his chin on her head.

As days floated on by, it was March 10th a Saturday. Grimmjow and the twins had been discharged from the hospital and they had been staying with Jess and Ulquiorra. Surprisingly Grimmjow had agreed with Jess and deemed their house not to be safe anymore. A day after they moved in with Jess though, Oichi quickly fell ill so she was bedridden for a few days herself. She was just now getting out of recovery.

The morning light floated in the window in the guest room of Jess's and Ulquiorra's home. Grimmjow's eyes opened when he heard crying. He sat up and rubbed his head. His hair was growing longer. It was getting close to his shoulders. He heard a soft sigh and turned over to see Oichi. The blanket was covering her waist exposing her nude back. Her eyes opened slightly. "Go back to sleep." He says rubbing her back. He watched her eyes close.

Grimmjow flipped the covers off him and got out of the bed. He was wearing gray sweats with no shirt. On his chest was a scar. It was all that was left from the bullet wound. He had usually been a fast healer when it comes to things like this but, this would be the first scar his body had taken. Walking to the crib, Cyrus was up and fussy. "Hey, little man. What are you doing up so early? Hm?" He picked Cyrus up and he stopped crying. "I see. You little sneak. You just wanted to get picked up." He rubbed Cyrus's cheeks, whipping his tears away.

There was a soft knock on the door, and it opened. Jess peeked her head in. "Hey." She whispered. Opening the door wider she walked in wearing a light purple maternity gown. "I heard Cy crying on the baby monitor. Do you want me to take him?" "No, it's fine. He just wanted to be held. Jess smiled and looked at Oichi. "Her fever finally broke. After she gets a lot of rest, she should be good to work herself into the ground all over again." Grimmjow let out a soft chuckle. "Yeah…" Jess walked over to him and looked at Cyrus who was already back to sleep. "So cute. He is a mini-you with Oichi features." She looked up at him. "Have you thought about what we discussed the other day?" Grimmjow frowned. "I don't need your help with finding another house. Keep your money." Jess pouted. "Both you and Oichi need rest and the last thing you need on your plate is house hunting. There is a house two blocks down that is on sale. It has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. A garage, a sunroom, a big backyard, a huge living room, and a kitchen. Did you even look at the pictures I took?" "Yeah, and that place is too small and cluttered. There isn't room for the girls or Oichi…look I already knew with the addition with Amanda and Shelia we would need a new house so, I already got a loan approved for one of the newer houses right by the school."

Jess blinks. "You did?" "Yeah, and if you would just let me do my role you would have already known that." Jess frowned and looked down. "I'm sorry…I don't mean to always butt in. I just want to help my friends." "I know and that is what is so annoying about you sometimes…but…in all your annoyance…I did you a favor and made Ulquiorra take out a loan for the house right next to it." Jess pops her head out. "Oh my God! Seriously! We are going to be neighbors!?" She says getting excited. Grimmjow sighs. "I suppose so but it's up to you and Ulquiorra if you're going to move or not." Jess wore a big grin. "I'm so excited! What does the house look like? Do you have pictures?" "Your husband has all that info. Go bother him for it." Jess giggled and rushed out of the room, closing the door behind her. "Ugh…" Grimmjow says with a frown. "You did a nice thing…" He heard Oichi say. Walking to his side of the bed he sat down while Oichi started to sit up. "I'm starting to regret it already." Oichi chuckled. "Can you get me a shirt?" He nods and places Cyrus on the bed. He went to the dresser and pulled out one of his nightshirts. Oichi poked Cyrus' belly. 'So cute.' "Here." Oichi sat up fully and took his shirt and put it on. "How are you feeling?" Grimmjow asked. "Tired but I'll be fine. What about you?" She eyed the scar on his chest. "I'll live."

Oichi crossed her legs and sighs softly. "I thought I was going to lose you. It was scary." Grimmjow crawled over on the bed and lays on his side. He grabbed Cyrus's hand and rubbed it. "I was careless. I didn't think that little shit would be so bold to pull the trigger on me. If I knew where he was I would…" He stopped talking and frowned. "…either way…he is dead if I ever see him again." Oichi lays back down on her side. "Honey?" He looked at her. "What's wrong. You know you can tell me anything right?" Grimmjow looked into her eyes and then sighs deeply. "…When I was out. I was having these dreams or visions. I don't know what you would call them, but it was like I was reliving my entire life. It was shitty. I hated it. It made me realize that I haven't done anything in my life. I set high goals and I didn't get anywhere near it. Sure, I had money and a bit of power, but I wanted to sit at the top and make everyone who looked down at me pay…then…" He sighs. "What adds on to the hurt is that I didn't even relive any moments I had with the kids. Nothing. Does that mean I don't have enough memories with them or did the universe play some sick game on me trying to say I don't love them enough? Finally…I saw you." Grimmjow wore a sad expression. "You saw me for what I truly was, and you didn't like it. You called me…" Grimmjow let go of Cyrus's hand and sat up on the bed. Turning away from Oichi he put his head down. "You called me a monster and a murderer. You wanted to leave me and I…I didn't want to let you go. I couldn't." Oichi sat up and crawled over to him. She places her head on his back and wrapped an arm around his waist. "Grimmjow. You know I would never say that right?" He stayed silent but she felt him grab her hand. They interlock fingers.

"Listen to me." She coughed slightly. "Even when we went through that whole, Aizen thing when he set you up. I never once blamed you for that. When I saw those pictures of what you did to those people…I do admit…I was scared. I thought you had been lying to me and planned to do the same to me but, my mind immediately thought back to all the dates we had. The time we spent together. All the sweet and passionate words you said to me. I thought wow, for a professional criminal you sure are sloppy." He heard a chuckle escape his lips. It made her smile. "Honey, I love you okay. Your children love you. Nothing is going to change my mind about how I feel. Your past doesn't affect or dictate my feelings." She squeezed his hand. "You do not have to worry about me leaving you. I'm going to make sure you are stuck with me for life. After all, you promised me a big family. Just because we are taking a break doesn't mean I want to stop after three." She giggled. "So, can you lift your head up and look at me?"

She felt his body shift. She let his hand go and sat up. He turns around slowly and Oichi spotted a lone tear rolling down his cheek. She smiles and reaches up, catching the tear. "I love you silly and if you are worried about the kids, make more memories with them. Taking them out more a daddy's day with them will brighten their world and you still have the teen years. That's going to be bumpy." He bumps heads with her and smiles softly. "I love you too. I wanted money and power to reach the top but none of that matters to me. If I, have you and my kids that makes it all worth it. I knew that you would never say something like that, but I grew angry and upset. To think after all we went through you just wanted to leave, I couldn't let that happen." Oichi rubbed the back of his head. "Hence what Kensei said…he said he heard you say that you would never let me leave you." She giggled. "I thought it was cute, but I just think I'm just as weird as you." He backed up and cups her face. "You are much weirder than me. I hope you know that." She stuck her tongue out with a giggle.

The door opened and the twins ran in with Kendric behind them. Ulquiorra let out a sigh as he held Nova who was yawning. "Daddy!" Naomi yelled. Grimmjow let Oichi's cheeks go as Naomi and Alisha ran to him. He picked them both up making them giggle. They were wearing matching wolf cubs one piece, with a tail and ears to match. Kendric went to the others side of the bed and climbed up himself. "Mom?" Oichi smiled. "Morning Kenny. Are you just waking up?" She rubbed his bed hair down. "Mhmm…"

"Grimmjow…" Ulquiorra said in an icy tone. "What?" Grimmjow asked. "Did you tell her?" "I did. It's your own fault for not telling her." "I didn't take out a loan like you tried to force me to because I had no intention of moving…this house is still new, and we put a lot of work into it. Why would we have to move so early." "That's not my problem. Figure it out with your wife." Ulquiorra narrowed his eyes. Oichi sighs. "Ulquiorra, maybe you should talk to Jess about this. If you feel so strongly that you don't have to move, you should express that to her. Discuss the pros and cons with her? Logically, if you explain it to Jess, she will agree with what you have to say right?" "No." he said flatly. "Grimmjow has riled her up and now she is already calling movers…" Oichi chuckled nervously. "I guess the excitement of being neighbors got to her. Look just go talk to her okay." Ulquiorra stared at her before he left the room.

Grimmjow rolled his eyes. "Such a pain. I want to hurry up and get out of here. The last thing we need is to be swept away by them and pulled in the middle of their conversation." Oichi smiled and yawns. "I'm going to lay back down…" Kendric was already lying next to Cyrus, dozing off. "Seems like Kenny is tired too…" "Same here." Grimmjow says as he turned to show her the twins were half-sleep. Giggling, Oichi lays down beside Kendric. "It's been a while since we all slept in one bed." "We did it like three weeks ago." Grimmjow said trading Cyrus out for the twins. He lays on the bed and places him on his chest. "You get some rest. I'll be up." Oichi nods and closes her eyes, drifting off to sleep. Grimmjow pushes the twins closer together and watched them cuddle each other. He pulled the blanket over all of them and stared at his family. He felt a warm sensation bubble inside him. 'I'm never letting this go.' He glanced at Oichi. 'Never.'

Deep underground, in Dante's hidden lab. Tesra was sitting in a chair with his arms and ankles tired. He had been locked in a room with no windows. Just a single light that shinned about him and one door. Surprisingly, Dante kept him well fed and didn't harm him at all. It worried him because of all the stories he had heard about Dante. He was at the top of the underground brokers for a reason. Being nice wasn't one of them.

Outside the room, Dante was sitting down smoking when Terry walked in. "Hey, did you get any information out of him?" "I haven't done anything yet." Dante says blowing out smoke. "Really? That's weird. Are you trying to gain his trust or something?" "The boy has already been broken. I'm impressed with him shooting Grimmjow. I am curious about what is driving him but, I haven't decided if I want to kill him for taking my granddaughters, yet. So, I've been waiting for a good mood." Terry laughed. "Sounds like you. I checked up on Oichi, seems like she is staying with Jess for the time being. I also learned that Grimmjow got a loan for a huge house near the new school." "I'll just go ahead and pay it off behind his back and have his fund transferred to the kid's college fund that he and Oichi just started working on." Terry chuckled.

"Now, while I wait for my good mood why don't you tell me about River." Terry frowned. "What about her?" "I want to know why it took so long for you to tell me you were sleeping with her." Terry sighs and rubs his head. "I knew you wouldn't approve…you told me to stay away from that family you know and with the contract…I didn't want things to get messy. I couldn't help myself though. She is super adorable and really soft and very flexible. The way she smiles makes me want to snuggle her. I really like her." "Mhmm…well so long as you keep working, I don't care who you sleep with. The next day, Grimmjow, the twins, and Kendric were driving to the new house to look at it. Grimmjow was taking Oichi's advice and wanted to spend more time with the kids. He drove past the center and saw all the construction that was going on. While he was in the hospital, Ulquiorra and the others made sure everything stayed on task.

Going past the center, he drove up a few more miles until he started to see brand new housing. In the distance, he could see the school. There were metal poles on the left side and the roads were blocked off all around. The building itself was completed finally. They were doing some last-minute touches and once the building was inspected and approved it could finally open. Being built on both sides of the city, not counting the café, this would be the first step to bringing the city into one. Hopefully.

Right before the school and the shut-off roads, Grimmjow pulled up on the side next to a house that had a for-sale sign. He turned off the car and got out. There was a young man standing by the sign waiting for him. Once he got the twins and Kendric out they walked over to the man. He smiled. "Hello. My name is Shawn. You must be Mr. ugh…Jaegerjaquez?" "Yeah, that's me." "Hi!" Naomi says waving. Shawn smiles. "Hello. These must be your children. If you don't mind me asking do you have any more?" "Yeah. Can you tell me about the house?" "Oh, sure thing. Well, this is one of the newer houses. With the school finished a lot of parents are trying to move out here before the place gets sold up. This Craftsman-style house plan features a warm and inviting color palette of outstanding exterior architectural design elements. The sprawling exterior is highlighted with stacked stone, multiple window gables, substantial wood beams, and a barrel vault ceiling L-shaped covered front porch. An interior floor plan features more than 6,800 square feet of living space which includes six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a finished basement foundation. You have a lot of space in the front and back, so it makes a lovely home if you have a lot of children. Shall we go inside?" "Led the way." Grimmjow says.

They walked up the drive pathway and took the path to the front door. Shawn took out a lock for the door and unlocked it, taking the keypad off. He opened the door and let Grimmjow and the kids inside first. "Big," Kendric says. Shawn chuckled. "Very much so. This is the main floor. This level of the home features a spacious foyer and extensive gallery hall highlight with columned beams that offer direct access to the centrally located family room. Follow me please." Shawn says giving them a tour of the house. "As you can see there are multiple access points throughout the home onto the rear curved patio that includes a large relaxing space." Kendric pokes his head into the dining room. "Ooo…" Grimmjow chuckled at him.

The spacious laundry/mudroom is conveniently located off the three-car side loading garage where vehicles and other storage items can be maintained and stored. The master suite is situated on the main floor as well for privacy and features exquisitely designed and well-appointed rooms. The exceptional master bedroom is accessible through French doors and is highlighted with a warming fireplace, vaulted ceilings, multiple window views, and private access onto the rear patio. Double vanities, a compartmentalized toilet, linen closet, a separate shower, and a large garden tub outline the suite bath and there is an enormous walk-in master closet. The terrace level of the home features an enormous recreation room with a walk-in bar, a home theatre room with rear space for A/V equipment and wiring, a home vault, and a guest suite with large closet space and a private bath." Shawn says as he walked them to the master room.

The remaining bedrooms are all oversized as well and feature wall-to-wall closet space or a walk-in closet and two of the bedrooms feature private access into the large hall bath where there are dual vanities. Shawn takes them upstairs and kept on with the tour.

"I would recommend you get those children safely bars to prevent your toddlers from running around too much. Only the master bedroom is downstairs." Shawn says with a smile. "I already know that. We have a house that is almost like this. It's not as wide but more height-wise." Grimmjow says. "I see. Well, do you have any questions for me?" "Not really. I already put a loan on here." "Oh? Then why did you want to see the house? Surely you already saw it before?" "Just want to confirm something. I don't plan to keep some of those rooms. I don't need two entertainment rooms so I can do some remodeling before we fully move it." "Oh. Well, might I suggest you use…" "I don't need your suggestion. I run my own construction company and I already have the blueprints for the house. I just wanted to see it up close once more." "I understand sir. Was there anything else?" "No. Thank you for the tour." "It has been my pleasure."

When the tour was done, and Grimmjow did one last look he and the kids left the house. "Alright, why don't we go get something to eat." "Foo!?" Naomi yelled. Grimmjow chuckled. "You sound like your mother."

At Jess's, Oichi was sitting in the kitchen waiting for a conference call. Jess and Ulquiorra had gone to work, and Nova had gone to the daycare center. With the school nearly completed, Oichi needed to go over the staffing employment and her fever had already put her behind. She couldn't go into the center because she wasn't cleared just yet. She was feeding Cyrus when her tablet started to ring. She clicks the accept button. Jushiro's face pops up with a smile. "Oichi! Hello!" She smiled. "Hi, Jushiro. Is it just me and you?" "Yes, everyone else is busy with their work but I am sure we can work through this. Firstly though, how are you and the children?" Oichi held up Cyrus. "We are all fine. Grimmjow took the kids out for a kids and daddy's day." "How wonderful. While he is off from work for another week, he should spend more time with his children." Oichi nods. "So shall we get to work?" Jushiro nods. "Yes, firstly though, we already decided on the school board members. As the one who handles this project you have been elected to be the head of the school board member." Oichi's eyes widen slightly. "Really? Me?" "Yes, you have already demonstrated that you can handle it. So as the head of the school board, you will need to establish budgets, set goals, evaluate progress toward those goals, ask voters to approve bond measures and local option levies for facilities and operations, guide collective bargaining, choose transportation systems, Evaluate the superintendent, college president, or chief executive…oh as well as hire those same people ha-ha."

Oichi sighs. "I see. It sounds like I'll be doing more work than normally excepted but, thank you for giving me this opportunity." Jushiro smiles. "Great, now let us move on. We have a lot of work to do. It will take more than a day to get through everything." "Right, but I don't think we should formally open the school until August. That will give us plenty of time to go through the hiring process, finish the student lists, get uniforms shipped out, I can get this board stuff in order, and so on. I've already been doing the hiring process and I interview a couple of people already so there isn't much to go on from there, but we still need to make sure every interview is still on board." "Of course, and once, we have everything straightened out we need to take them in to get everything approved." Oichi smiled and then let out a small sigh. "Um…does he still want me to take over for him?" Jushiro leans back in his chair. "That I do not know. He hasn't said much about it lately. He has been focused on the new direction we are going, and he still hasn't decided if he was going to be the mayor or not." "I see…then for now I will keep going as I have always done." Jushiro nods with a smile.

Hisagi and Florina were at the hospital. They were sitting in a room awaiting an ultrasound with the hopes of finding the gender for the baby. Florina giggled and rubbed her 6th-month belly. Hisagi smiled and grabbed her hand. "How are you feeling?" "Excited? A-Are you Excited?" "Of course, I am." He chuckled. "I've been waiting to go shopping for baby things. I've thought of names for both genders. I was even a little upset when you didn't want Oichi to through you a baby shower." Florina blushed. "O-Oh…I thought that you wouldn't want that." "Flo…I told you, do not worry about me. All that matters is if you are happy and comfortable. If you want a baby shower or gender reveal that is fine with me." Florina smiled with a slight blush. "A-A gender reveal." Hisagi kissed the back of her hand. "I'll get planning then." The door opened and Uryu walked in. "Hey, Flo. Hisagi. Ready to see the gender?" Florina nods. "Yes!" She giggles. Uryu chuckled and walked over to her. He pulled her shirt up and squeezed warm gel on her belly. "I thought it would be cold…" Florina says. "Some women prefer the cold one." "Oh?" He took out a wand and turned on the screen. Rubbing the wand, a picture was shown on the screen. Florina's eyes lit up. "Is…Is that the baby!?" Uryu nods. "Yea." Florina tears. "Is this how Oichi and the other felt when they saw their babies?" "Grimmjow was a little more emotional than Oichi but yeah pretty much." Florina smiled brightly. "Now, if we look a little bit closer…there…looks like you are having a boy." Hisagi smiled. "A boy? I don't know why it felt like it was going to be a girl." Florina giggled. "Maybe because of Izzy. She swears up and down that she was getting a niece." "Would you like pictures?" "Yes, please! Can I have like maybe seven or eight?" "Sure thing." He quickly snapped some pictures and then removed the wand. Wiping the gel off her belly, Hisagi helped her sit up. "So, you still want a gender reveal?" "I do! I want to surprise Izzy and Oichi." Hisagi nods and takes the pictures from Uryu.

At the coffee bar, Jess placed down an order for a double shot espresso. "Here you go, sir. That will be 9.78." The man gave her a 10-dollar bill. "Keep the change." He drowned the shot and got up to leave. Jess took the glass with a sigh. "You seem troubled." Jess looked up and smiled to see River sitting down. She was wearing a cute blue sweater dress and black leggings with black flats. "Hey River. What are you doing here?" River blushed. "I wanted to speak to you before my um…date…arrived." Jess smiled brightly. "A date!? Really. Oh my God, spill!" River grabs her hand. "You haven't met him officially, but you do know him. It's Terry." Jess gasps. "As in…Oichi's cousin!?" River nods. "A year ago, there was a mission I was on for Lord Jetter, and I was sent to gather some info. It just so happened that Dante was gathering information as well and had sent Terry. It was like love at first sight." Jess giggled. "Aw River! I wish you would have told me! Does Oichi know?" "I doubt it. According to Ter, they haven't physically seen each other for years. He did tell me though that he has 3 more years in his contract with Dante and he was free to do what he wants…and that includes." River blushed more. "Having a family…" Jess's eyes widen. "River…are you…?" She looked at her belly. "No! No…not yet at least. I had a scare but other than that we have been careful but, one day. I really do want to have children with him…I think he is scared about what Dante would do if he found out about us." Jess frowned. "Dante is such a jerk. He shouldn't keep you from your man. That's not fair. I'm gonna talk to Oichi and see if she can lend a hand." River smiles. "You would do that?" "Of course! You are my friend too, and I want you to be happy." "Aw, thank you, Jess."

The door opened and Jess looked up and smirked. "Your date is here." River smiles. "Can you bring us the special love bird meal?" "Of course. It will be ready in 15." River nods and skips over to Terry. He was wearing a black shirt with black skinny jeans and a light jacket. Jess chuckled as River jumped on him, kissing and hugging him. "Oichi is going to be so shocked when I tell her about this!"

In the mall, Rangiku and Momo were doing some shopping. Most of the buildings were closed due to remodeling. "How are you and Gin doing?" Momo asked. "Fine, I guess. He keeps the house clean, has food ready when I get home, and even helps me with my paperwork after he lectures me about being a little lazy. It's really nice you know." Momo chuckled. "I'm happy for Hisagi you know. Flo and Him." "I never could see Hisagi as a dad you know but now, the more I think about it, he would be the perfect babysitter." Rangiku says snapping her fingers. "He certainly can nag and put the kids to sleep. I saw that happen when he was doing a seminar on his division." Momo laughed. "I remember that. He was so embarrassed." Both women then did a big sigh. "Everyone is having kids and moving on. Our big women group has shrunk down to two people now. I remember us going out to clubs and having drinks and shopping but now everyone has been mom's and are focused on work, work, work." Rangiku says pouting. Momo smiles. "We still have fun as a group. I think that is what most is important. Moving on, have you thought about working at the school?" "What? No way. I don't think I can handle all those children. I will leave that to all of you guys." Momo chuckles. "I sighed up to be a social studies teacher. I think the children of the future should learn about the history of this city." "Good luck with that."

They heard giggling and looked up to see Isane walking out of the store. "Isane? Out shopping? That is rare." Rangiku says placing a hand on her hip. "Let's go say hi." Momo says before she was grabbed by Rangiku. "Uh? What are you doing?" Rangiku pulled her over to some large, potted plants. "Rangiku?" "Shh! Look." Momo noticed a man with Isane, but it was hard to see his face, but they could tell they were holding hands. "Oh my gosh. Is she on a date!?" Rangiku smirked. "My oh My. Looks like our dear Isane has a secret man she has failed to tell us about. Let's follow her." "No! We should give her privacy." "What? How boring. Let's see who the mystery man is."

"Rangiku!" The two women jumped at the loud voice. Turning around they saw Toshiro storming up to them in anger. "You said you would be gone for ONLY 20 minutes! It's been 2 damn hours! You have a pile of paperwork to get done that needs to be turned in today!" Rangiku pouted. "How did you even find me…Did Gin tell you?" "You think I don't know where you go on your free time!? Get your ass back to the office before I handcuff you to your desk!" "What? I work from home!" "Not anymore! I'm keeping a close eye on you so that work can get done!" Rangiku sighs. "Yes sir…man this sucks…" She walked off with a gloomy look on her face. Toshiro huffed out. "Why do I have to get stuck with her." Momo chuckled and walked over to him kissing his cheek. "I was the one to ask Rangiku to come out today. I thought she was done with her work." "Uh-huh. Don't cover for her stupidness. Why are you hiding here anyways?" "O-Oh no reason. We were talking about Hisagi becoming a dad that is all." "Mhm…" He grabbed her hand and started pulling her away. "Don't worry, you will get to have the joy of being a mother soon." Momo blushed and smiled.

At the Nia's, Byakuya was over. Ever since he and Nia had officially become a couple, he spent more days at her place than his own manor. He found it more comfortable spending time with Nia. Kim and Ty were also growing attached to him and it felt nice for him to be relied on. Today he was helping the kids with homework while Nia was making lunch. The kids took classes online until the new school was opened. Kim frowned looking at her math questions. "I hate this." She says crossing her arms. Byakuya who was helping Ty with his social studies turned to her. "What is wrong?" "I don't understand this stuff…it's too hard!" "Let's see." She turned her paper to him. He picked it up and scanned her paper. "Let's go over it piece by piece. It is simple once you get it down. You are very smart and that is why you get such hard questions." Kim pouted. "Why they gotta be so hard?" "Because the teachers want to test your knowledge. Most children do not get the opportunity to test themselves like this." "Mmm…can you show me?" "Of course." He says picking a pencil up.

In the kitchen, Nia was on the phone with Danni. "Yeah, he is helping the kids with their work." Danni chuckled over the phone. "How kind of him." "It is. So how are Oichi and the kids? Grimmjow to?" "Oh, they are fine. They are staying with Jess but, Oichi told me that Grimmjow already has a new house for them to move into." "That's good. I didn't want her staying at that place anymore. I feel like once your house is broken into and people get hurt, it just isn't the same anymore." "True, I'm glad Grimmjow felt the same way." "Did they ever catch the guy that took the girls?" "No, but I'm sure Dante has something to do with that. I don't care either way. So long as my babies are okay." Nia chuckled. "How are you and Shunsui?" "We are fine. Same old, same old. I canceled my retirement party." "What? Why?" "I don't want to celebrate my war life. It's stupid. Besides, do you think I can just sit in the house and do nothing?" Nia smiles. "No, you need to work. That is so like you. I know you said something about a bar?" "Yup, I'm going to put those bartending licenses to good use. My future son-in-law is building my bar and I can't wait. It's going to be amazing; I can just feel it." Nia shook her head. "Right, tell me how is the baby-making going?" There was silence on the line. "Hello? Danni?" She heard a sigh. "I mean it's going, okay? It's not like anything has changed." Nia frowned. "Sis? What's going on?" She heard Danni sigh. "It's just… Even with the mistakes I made. Not even that one night stand with Frank did anything and didn't use any kind of protection. I do it one time with Dante, with protection, and boom. Oichi is born. Maybe…Maybe I can't have kids anymore. Maybe the universe is saying the world doesn't need any more children of my bloodline!" Nia smiled as Danni went on in her rant.

"Danni calm down. The time will come for you okay. You know that. You said that to Oichi to didn't you and look at her now. She got three kids with the additional three. Don't let it bug you that much okay." "Yeah. I just wish it would happen. I want to get it over with and then forever remove my womb." Nia laughed. "You are so silly. Look, I need to finish cooking. Are we still on for dinner?" "Yeah, I look forward to it." "Before you go, maybe you should go check your egg count. If you are that worried. I mean at our age it is already kind of risky right?" "Oh please, we aren't old fossils here Nia. I bet when Byakuya knocks you up you are going to be glowing like no tomorrow." Nia blushed. "Danni!" Danni laughed through the phone before she hung up. "Ugh, I can't with her sometimes…"

"Is everything alright?" Nia turned her head to see Byakuya walking into the kitchen. "Yes, Danni is just being a little paranoid about having another baby." "Mhm…" He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "The children are done with their work. They went upstairs to play for a while." Nia nods. "Thank you for helping them." "What does it feel like?" "Hm? What do you mean?" "To be a parent." His hand rubbed her belly. "The sensation of knowing that inside your belly grows the life of the person you love?" Nia's face turned red. "It's scary at first for some…but the more the months past you feel a sense of anticipation. Who would it look like, the gender, if it will come out healthy, the next 18 years you must go through…it's a lot of pressure? To me though, having my children were the best thing I felt that I have ever done. I never regretted it." "I see." He put his chin on her head. "D-Do you want children?" She asked. "I don't know yet…but if I decided that I want some…" Nia placed her hand on his. Before she could answer, Kim and Ty ran back downstairs. "Mom! Ty won't let me play his game!" "You don't even like games. Why do you want to play it now?" "Let me play!" Kim screamed stomping her foot. "No." "Your so mean!"

Nia sighs. "Of course, there are days like these…when you just want to tie them up, cover their mouth, and just lock them in the room for about 2 hours." "I can handle it." Byakuya says letting her go. Nia chuckled and went back to cooking.

Grimmjow was at the park sitting in the gazebo the twins had been found at. The girls and Kendric were eating snacks he had brought from a vendor that was posted at the park. Grimmjow's eyes carefully scan the park. 'Why did that scumbag leave them at the park…did he really get scared." He rubbed his fingers through his hair. "Dammit…none of this makes sense."

"You look frustrated." Grimmjow's head pops up hearing a voice. He narrowed his eyes as Dante climbed into the gazebo. "It's rare to see you out in the daylight." "Mhmm…I came to check on my grandchildren and ask you some questions. Nothing more." "Pop pop…!" Alisha says smiling. "Hi!" Naomi says waving her hand. Her face was covered in food. Grimmjow pulled out a wipe and cleaned her face. Kendric glanced at Dante before going back to eating.

"So, what do you want?" Grimmjow asked. "What is your relationship with the man Tesra." "I have none. He is Nnoitra's guy. Up until he moved in with Nel I never had anything to do with him." "Interesting because he is blaming you for everything that has gone wrong in his life." Grimmjow frowned at Dante. "What the fu…" He looked at the twins who looked up at him. "What…does that even mean. I haven't even touched the creep. Any ill will should be pointed at Nnoitra." "True but, while I wasn't in the mood to question him, Terry did, and he got a few answers that opened more doors." "Such as?" "He shows extreme hate towards you. When Terry asked why he shot you he kept repeating that you ruined his life and that you should die because of it." Grimmjow groans. "Is everyone going to blame me for stupid crap?"

"The boy has been abused physically and mentally." Dante says. "Abused you say?" "Yes, now other than you, Nel, Ulquiorra, Nnoitra, Harribel, and Starrk…who does that sound like to you? To Abuse a person like that to make them believe in something so bad that they would do anything, even kill." Grimmjow rubbed his chin. "Luppi and Yammy are in jail…everyone else is either dead or gone into hiding…" His eyes lit up. "Szayelaporro…he is the type of sick bastard to go that far." "Yes, as I figured…do you keep in touch with him?" "No, and even if he tried, I would have shut that down. I want nothing to do with that freak. He has always had this stupid fantasy of being perfect. Aizen funded him a lab and he did weird crap down there. No one wanted to be bothered with him or deal with him. He broke people in ways not even I want to describe." Dante crossed his arms. Alisha crawled over to him with a giggle and laid in his lap. He smiled and rubbed her back. "So is Szayel using Tesra to get to me?" Grimmjow asked. "That may be the case. He won't tell us more. After fully examining him, we noticed a small device in the back of his neck. It might be an explosive or poison. Whatever it is he fears it and won't answer anything about your former co-worker." "I see…so you came to me to see what you can learn about that freak" "I have a lot of information on him. I just want to hear your opinion on him."

Dante closed his eyes and then opened them. "I am sure you are aware of my relationship with that man." Grimmjow nods. "Yup, who would have thought with that last name of yours." He said with a chuckle. Dante sighed. "Has Oichi showed…any sighs…of that man's raw power?" "Oichi? No. Why? Should I look for it?" "No. His raw power comes from years of training. It's not something you can just have like Jess and her family's weirdness." "I agree on that last part." Grimmjow says with a frown. "Last time we concluded that Szayel was trying to go after Jess or maybe her family to get a hand on their secrets. Soifon found a secret room that had him dealing with disguises and a map that led back to Scotland. When that fool Jetter learn of that he high tailed it back home, with hopes of catching him." "Let me guess. It was a lie?" "Yes, Szayel is still around here disguised as who knows what. I spoke to your coworker Starrk before he left the city again." "You did?" "Yes, I told you I wanted the opinions of this man. I plan to speak to the rest, but I saw you over here trying to figure out things beyond your thinking capabilities." Grimmjow's eyes twitched at that. "Whatever! Just go on. What did Starrk say."

"He met with Szayel before he came to stay with you and Oichi." Grimmjow's eyes narrowed. "Wait…wait a minute." "Dante picked up Alisha and held her. She cuddled in his chest, yawning. "You said Szayel went on about wanting to be perfect. The concept of perfect…is ridiculous…but this fool may think the Mikcloud family secret and our bloodline with Yamamoto is the key to that." Grimmjow gripped his fist tightly. "Is that why the girls were taken!?" "That I do not know yet. If all he needed was a blood sample then he could have easily gotten it from the hospital, or the blood bank, or even during Tesra's rampage through the house…there were plenty of methods he could use to get the blood he needed. So, I must admit that I do not have all the answers just yet. When Uryu checked them out he didn't find anything puncture wounds?" "No, I even checked myself. Between their toes, fingers, neck, behind the ear but I found nothing. "Hmm…so it begs the question if he was even aware of that next part that Tesra did."

"I'm so confused…back up. Okay, what you are saying is that Szayel is planning this whole thing? In his goal of being perfect, he thinks Jess and Oichi's blood will give him that chance. He tricks Jetter to go back home, which leaves him the perfect chance to get…" Grimmjow stops. Dante looked at him. "What is it?" "He might already have Jess's blood…" "Meaning?" "When Nova was born. Something happened, Jess almost died. She lost a lot of blood. Around that time of her recovering, I learned from a…source…that a nurse was found killed in a storage room. A nurse that was originally assigned to Jess at that time." "Interesting…but if that was true, why would she be followed?" "Don't know. Maybe he messed something up and used up what little sample he took?"

"Hmmm…It seems like I have misjudged you a bit." Grimmjow links his fingers together, putting his elbows on the table. "Dante…tell me the truth…is my family in danger." Dante looked down at Alisha and looked over at Naomi and Kendric. "No. Not right now." "Meaning?" "If Tesra is working with Szayel, he caused a lot of heat when he took the girls. If that man is as smart as he claims to be, he will hide for a while and if by some miracle he gets a hold of our blood and learns that it's worthless he will find some other method to get his ideas from and leave everyone alone." Grimmjow looks down. "So, like Aizen…he is going to just…getaway. After all of this?" "Maybe, maybe not. Starrk looks like he is on a hunt. If anything, he will settle the issue before it gets out of handle, and I will deal with the clean-up process as we agreed before he left."

He sat Alisha down beside Kendric. "Pop?" She reached up to him. Dante grabbed her hand and rubbed it. "I'll be back to visit you another time." He lets her hand go and got up. "Grimmjow my deal with you still stands. You keep my daughter safe, and I'll make sure you live a carefree life. I understand you found a new house and put out a loan on it. I've already taken care of it and placed the funds for the kids." Grimmjow sighs. "Of course, you did." Dante put his hands in his pockets. "Thank you for the intel." He placed a flash drive on the table. "Give that to Toshiro. I promised the old fart I would tell him everything I know if I didn't find the girls first." "What am I? Your messenger?" "Yes, as it says in your contact with me. Goodbye." He says walking away. Grimmjow took the flash drive and took his phone out. "This is so stupid…"

The month of March passed, and April was now taking the spot life. On the 12th, Florina and Hisagi were hosting a gender reveal at their house. Oichi and her kids were there but Grimmjow, Jess, and Ulquiorra had to work today. The twins were sitting on the playmat with Kendric playing with toys. Cyrus was in his car seat fast asleep. Oichi and Florina were sitting on the couch looking at him. "All he does is sleep…I swear." Oichi says in confusion. "I expected him to be more like the girls, but he is such a sleepy baby." Florina giggled. "It's cute." Oichi smiled and rubbed her 7th-month belly. "No, what is cute is that my little sister getting all plumped! You look so adorable all pregnant!" Florina blushed. "S-Stop that. It's embarrassing." "I will never stop embarrassing you. As your big sister, it's my job too." Florina pouted as the doorbell rang. Hisagi pops out of the kitchen wearing a half pink, half blue apron. Opening the door, Momo and Izuru were standing there. "Hey!" "Hey, you two. Come on in." He held up a basket that had boy pins and girl pins in it." Momo picked a boy and Izuru picked a girl. They joined Oichi and Florina in the living room.

Next to show up was Renji and Rukia with Reiki. Rukia picked the girl pin and Renji picked the boy pin. Following them was Rangiku who picked a girl pin. Ichigo and Orihime both picked the girl pin. Izzy came and she picked the girl pin and Yoshiro picked the boy pin. Danni came alone since Shunsui was working. She picked the boy pin and snuggled Florina and then showed her attention to her grandchildren.

Renji pats Hisagi on the shoulder. "So! What does it feel like to be a dad now! Pretty exciting right?" Hisagi sighs pushing his handoff. "The baby isn't even here yet…and I can't stop being excited. You don't need to yell in my ear about." The doorbell rings making Hisagi raise an eyebrow. "Flo? Did you invite anyone else?" "No?" Hisagi walked to the door and opened it. He was shocked to see Kensei standing there. "Hey." "S-Sir? Hello. What are you doing here?" "Eh? I got the word you were about to be a father. Why was I so late in knowing?" "Oh. I didn't want to bother you with the details." "Mhmm…let me in already and give me a girl pin. You look like the overprotective type." Hisagi smiled nervously and handed him a pin and let him in. Oichi smiled. "Hi, Kensei. Are you playing hooky?" "Shut up." He says rolling his eyes. He looked down to see Cyrus opening his eyes. He bends down and reaches into the car seat to get him. "Well look at you. A month ago, you were scared to hold him." Oichi says as Kensei held Cyrus. "True but, he always looks like he wants me to pick him up. I can't deny that look. Oichi chuckled and shook her head.

Kensei sat on the couch holding Cyrus. "How is the news building coming along? You won't let me come back to work." Oichi says with a pout. "Because you are going to work yourself right back into the ground. I have to force you to use your sick days therefore I am not signing your papers to allow you to come back to work." Oichi huffed out. "The new stations are finished. We are just waiting on the science department to finish working their magic inside. Once that is done, we can get back to work. As for you, I want you to focus on your own store and this school stuff. Other than your usual amount of paperwork there isn't much for you to do now." Oichi sighs. "I suppose…maybe it's time leave?" Kensei frowns. "If that is what you want to do, you are free to do it but just know all your hard work is going to go to someone else that isn't me. You don't have to worry about the news part of this job. The fashion department is taking your led, so you just handle that portion, okay?" Oichi nods. "Okay."

Danni groans as she held up Naomi. "Can we leave the talk work for another day? This is supposed to be Flo's day you know." She says glaring at Kensei. Kensei flinched. 'Why is she glaring at me!?' Florina giggled. "It's okay mama. It's so lively here. I am enjoying myself quite a bit." Hey, belly started to grumble making her blush. "Ah! I'm sorry!" Oichi smiled. "Nothing to be sorry about sis! It happens. Trust me. I'll grab you something to eat." She gets up and walks into the kitchen. Hisagi was setting a plate down that was full of snacks for Florina. "Oh, looks like you read my mind. She is hungry." Oichi says taking the plate. "Oichi…" "Hm?" Hisagi rubbed the back of his head. "Thank you for supporting me and Flo." Oichi waves her hand. "You don't have to thank me for that. You make her happy and that makes me happy!" "I know I'm supposed to do this with Danni or you guy's dad but…I feel like I should do this to you instead." "Uh…do what?" Oichi asked in confusion. Hisagi dug in his pocket and pulls out a small box. Oichi's eyes widen. "Hisagi is that…" He nodded and opened the box to show her a very expensive oval diamond ring. She gasps, nearly dropping the plate. "Oh my…Hisagi how did you…" "I got some good friends in high places that owed me a favor. I want to ask your permission to marry Flo." Oichi felt herself getting all bubbly inside. To prevent herself from screaming out in excitement she nods her head, making Hisagi smile. He then put a cup in front of her. "You might need this to calm down. A quick shot of Mr. Jack himself." Oichi grabbed the cup in haste and sipped it down. She let out a big sigh and placed the cup back on the table.

"Yeah…that hit the spot…so when is this going to happen?" "I don't know yet…maybe after the baby is born…I want to make it special you know." Oichi nods. "Well, whatever you are going to do, she is going to brawling tears out of her eyes." Hisagi chuckled. "Yeah." "OICHI! Flo needs food!" Izzy yelled. Oichi rolled her eyes and walked out of the kitchen. "Don't scream at me, Izzy. I'll put you in a headlock." Izzy crossed her arms. Oichi sat down and handed Florina her plate. "Hisagi already made it for you." Florina giggled and started eating.

The doorbell rings and Hisagi walks out the kitchen. "Who else is showing up. Jeez…this is a limited party occasion." He opened the door and takes a step back. "Ah…w-welcome." Oichi turned around and smiled to see her aunt walk in with a gift. "Auntie Nia!" She gets up and walks to her. They hug. "Mama told you were back! Kim and Ty have gotten so big! When were you coming to visit me!" Nia chuckled. "I've been a bit busy. I'm sorry." She smiled brightly at Florina. "Aw! Look at you! Sitting there looking so plump." Florina started to turn red all over again making the woman giggle. At the door, Byakuya stepped inside with two bags in his hands. Eyes widen slightly. "Oooo so the rumors are true." Oichi says. "What rumors?" Nia asked. "The rumor that Byakuya found a lover. I didn't know it would be you auntie." Nia's cheeks heated up and she rubbed her cheeks. "O-Oh well…I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Oichi shook her head. "It's fine! If your happy then that's what I care about." Nia smiled and hugged again. She then went over to Florina. "I know this is just a gender reveal, but I couldn't help but to bring you some gifts!" Florina smiled and sat the plate on the small table beside her. "Thank you, auntie!" She took the bag and looked inside. "HeeHee!" She pulled out some baby toys. "Aw! Thank you! I also got you a load of diapers and recipes to make your own baby food." Byakuya held up the bags and then gave them to Hisagi. "Thank you both so much and thank you for coming!" Byakuya grabbed two boy pins for him and Nia.

Spotting the twins Nia smiled even brighter. "They are so cute! I'm so glad they were found okay." Oichi sat beside Florina. "Yes, I'm glad as well." Naomi clings to Danni and giggle. "Nana!" Danni snuggles her. "How dare anyone harms my adorable grandchildren. Not to worry though, I'll tear any man or woman apart who lays another finger on you. Isn't that right my little cream puff." She tickled Naomi making her scream and giggle out. Oichi smiles and looks at Florina. "You are going to enjoy the sound of the giggles and screams." Florina rubbed her belly. "I can't wait."

After about an hour of food, games, and funny past stories, it was time to find out the gender. Hisagi helped Florina into the kitchen, and everyone piled into the kitchen. Yoshiro stayed in the living room with the kids. There was a cake in the middle of the table that was half blue and half pink. Izzy giggled. "It's totally a girl! I'm going to have more nieces!" Oichi chuckled. "You can do us a favor and start having kids of your own soon." Izzy shushed her. Hisagi and Florina took the knife together and smiled at each other. "Ready?" Danni held out a camera. "Oooo so exciting! I'm such an awesome grandmother! So, bring on the babies!" Nia giggled at her. Florina counted down. "3…2…1!" They cut the cake and pulled out the slice together showing the blue coloring inside. "It's a boy!" Oichi says clapping. Izzy's mouth popped open. "Aw, man!" Danni snapped pictures and then claps. "Aw! Congratulation's honey!" Rangiku chuckled. "Looks like we are getting a mini Hisagi. How cute." Kira rubs his chin. "How would a mini Hisagi act though?" "So long as he doesn't bore everyone to death with a lecture, I'm sure he will turn out fine." Renji says with a smirk. Hisagi narrowed his eyes at them with a red face. Florina giggled. "It's okay honey. I loved your speech! I learned so much." Hisagi smiled at her and then looked at Oichi who kept her smile on her face, interlocking her fingers.

Hisagi rubbed his head. "Um, Flo…I um…I have something I want to ask you." "You do?" He took her hand. "Yes…w-well you see. I haven't gotten the chance to really thank you for everything you have done. I have come to view you as someone irreplaceable in my heart and I don't want to let that go. So, with that said…" He sighs and drops to a knee. Florina's eyes widen. "H-Hisagi!? What are you doing!?" Oichi felt Danni grab her and pull her into one of her motherly death hugs. "Is what's happening…happening right now!?" Danni says. "Mama shush." Oichi says struggling in her grasp. Hisagi pulled out the ring he had shown Oichi. Izzy gasps. "Oh wow…that's so beautiful!" Hisagi's cheeks were red, feeling a little embarrassed with all the eyes staring at them but his eyes never left Florina's. "Flo…will you make the happiest man of the world right now…and be my wife?" Tears welled up in Florina's eyes. She shook as she squeezed his hand. She smiled and nodded. "Y-Yes! Yes, I will!" Hisagi smiles, feeling relief that she said yes. He slips the ring on her finger. He stood up and wrapped his arms around her pulling her into a kiss. Their friends clapped and cheered. Danni started to tear and cry. "My baby is getting married! I'm so happy Dante missed this!" Oichi pulled away from. "Sheesh, mom…" She then smiled. "I'm so happy for you sis! Congratulations!" Florina broke the kiss and giggled as she snuggled into Hisagi's chest. "I love you so much!" Hisagi chuckled. "I love you too." Kensei was leaning on the wall watching. His eyes went to Oichi who was rubbing her own ring. He turned his head. 'Would it be wrong for me to try…'

More days passed and it was now the month of May, day 20, and Amanda's 19th birthday. Since Oichi and Grimmjow were busy with moving into their new home, Amanda didn't want to bother them, but Oichi did call her and told her to come to Jess's for a surprise. Grimmjow also sent her money to blow through. At that moment she decided to go to the skating ring with Izzy, Yoshiro, Karin, Yuzu, Moe, and Jinta.

Amanda giggled as she skates on her rollerblades. She spins and starts skating backward. Yuzu was clinging to Jinta as he taught her to skate. "Yup, just like that. Don't be scared okay." Yuzu pouts. "I'm not scared…b-but don't let me go, okay?" Jinta smiled. "Of course. We can take it nice and slow." Karin skates past them with her hands behind her back. "Get a room you two." Yuzu waves her hand. "Not everyone can get this easily you know! Gahh!" She slips and almost falls but Jinta catches her. "I got you Haha." Karin shakes her head and skates alone. 'Why did agree to come here again?' "Hey, Karin!" She glances over to see Moe leaning on the side waving. She felt a hint of heat run across her face. Shaking the feeling off she skated over to him. "Hey, Moe. Why aren't you skating?" "I was about to get my skates, but I got an annoying text from Yukio. He wanted to come to hang out with us." Karin frowned. "You didn't say yes, did you?" "Course I didn't but he came anyway. He hacked out phones and got the location." Karin groans. "I'm so going to knock his teeth down his throat if he so much as to ruin Amanda's day." "I'll keep him in check." He looked past her to see Izzy and Yoshiro skating together hand in hand. "You…should go tell Izzy…I'm going to go get my skates."

Karin sighs and looked over at the arcade. She spotted Yukio standing by the entrance. He wasn't looking at her. She followed his line of sight to Amanda who in her own world as she live streams herself skating. Shaking her head, she skated over to Izzy and Yoshiro. "Hey, you two." She skated a bit in front of them. "What's up? You need some pickup lines for Moe?" Yoshiro asked. Karin blushed. "Shut up! Like I would take any love advice from you two horn balls." Yoshiro chuckled. "My bad. My bad. So, what's up?" "Seems like that guy, Yukio is here." They stopped skating. "What!?" Yoshiro says. "Where! I'll kick him out." Izzy sighs. "It's okay Yoshiro." He looked at her. "But Izzy! The last time he was with us he hurt your feeling and made you cry. I can't forgive that! Anyone who makes you cry needs to at least get punched in the face." Izzy smiled. "Thank you but it's fine really. I'm over that. It's not the first time someone tried to use my mom to hurt me…if Amanda is okay with him being here then we shouldn't be rude about it." Karin rubs the back of her head. "That's another thing…he hacked out phones and found out where we were. He wasn't invited." Yoshiro frowned. "Ew, that's super creepy."

"Hey! What are you guys doing!?" Amanda asked as she came to a slow stop. Karin and Izzy looked at each other and pointed to Yukio who was looking in their direction. Amanda blinks and squints her eyes. "Who is that!?" Yoshiro held back laughter as Izzy rubbed her face. "Really? You don't remember?" Karin asked. "Mmm…Oh. The guy that made Izzy cry, right? Did he come to skate to?" "He hacked our phones and followed us here. He is bad news." Karin says. Amanda hums and taps her cheek. "Ms. Oichi said you should give people a second chance if you feel like they really deserve it. I believe we all got off on the wrong foot. I'll go say hello!" "Wait, Amanda!" Karin says. Her cries were ignored as Amanda skated off to the side. She waves at Yukio. "Hey! Are you just going to stand there or are you skating with us!?" Yukio jumped slightly with a shocked look on his face. He rubbed his arm and walked over to her. "I don't really do skating." "Really? It's fun though. I can show you." "Pass. Games are more my style. So, um…Happy birthday." Amanda smiles sweetly at him. His cheeks heated up. "Thank you! Though you didn't have to hack our phones to join. If you would have asked, I would have said yes." "I didn't want to risk it after what happened the last time." Amanda chuckled. "True. Ms. Oichi and Grim were really mad at you for making Izzy cry and so was I. Totally not the way to make friends." "I don't have those so I wouldn't know." "Then grab some skates and come skate. Playing games is cool and all but doesn't it get boring when you have no one to play with?" "Not really…" Amanda rolled her eyes. "Have it your way then. Bye!" "W-Wait!" Yukio reached out and grabbed her hand. "Hm?" His face was red. "I-I don't know how to skate." "Nothing to be embarrassed about. I'll show you. I'll wait for you by the entrance, okay?" She skates off. Yukio sighs and walks to the counter.

A few moments later, Yukio was at the entrance of the ring wearing skates. His legs were shaking terribly. Jinta and Yoshiro were chuckling at this. "Come on you two. Don't laugh." Izzy says. Amanda smiled and held her hand out. "Okay let's skate!" Yukio looked at her hand and took it. He took one step in the ring and his foot slipped from under him and he fell on his back. Jinta and Yoshiro laughed loudly at this. Yukio frowned, embarrassed. Amanda giggles and grabbed his arm. "It's okay. I feel so many times before I got good at it. We can go slow, just lean on me." She helped him up and started to skate together slowly. He slipped a couple of times, so they stayed next to the barrier. Izzy sighs. "She is too sweet for her own good." Yoshiro chuckled and then nudged her. "Looks like they aren't the only ones." He pointed over to see Karin and Moe skating close together. "I knew it!" Yuzu says, scaring them with her sudden loudness. She was still clinging on to Jinta. "I knew that boy and Karin was going to be a good match!" Izzy was holding her chest. "Jeez Yuzu, could you be anymore louder." Yoshiro sighs. "Do you know what this means!?" Yuzu said with an excited look on her face? "No, but I'm sure you are going to tell us huh." Izzy says. "I can finally have a double date with Karin!" Jinta frowned. "Ugh, I have to sit with that guy? No way." Yuzu pouts. "Why not! It will be fun! Izzy does it with that other girl that she doesn't like." Izzy grabbed Yoshiro's hand. "That is our cue to live. No way am I getting in the middle of this." She skates off with him.

Over by Kiran and Moe, Karin noticed Yuzu making a fuss. "I wonder what's her deal." Moe scratched his head. "Hey, Karin. Are you doing anything later?" "Hm? I think we were all going to head to the smoothie shop after this. Then Amanda is leaving to see Oichi at Jess's…so I guess I'm free after. Why?" "O-O-Oh well it didn't have to be t-t-t-today, but I was wondering if you um well…w-want to maybe grab something to eat? W-With me? T-Together?" Karin blinks and then chuckled. "Sure. I don't mind getting a bite to eat. You have my number, right?" Moe nods with a delighted look on his face. "Yes! Jinta gave it to me." "Awesome. Just text me after we are finished skating so I can have your number and then we can figure out a date to go eat. Sounds good?" Moe nods. "Of course!"

When the kids got enough of skating, they exited the ring and took their skates off. Once they returned them to the counter they walked into the arcade. Izzy and Yoshiro went to the snack bar. Moe and Karin were playing a Dino shooting game. Jinta and Yuzu were playing DDR and it was a struggle for Jinta. Over by a fighting game, Amanda watched as Yukio destroyed the high score. "Wow, you really are good at video games." "Thanks. Though, these games are much too easy for my skills." Amanda hums. "Hey, why did you make Izzy cry?" Yukio frowned. "I…didn't mean to. Sometimes I just blurt things out without thinking about how they would affect people." "You sound like my older brother." "Your older brother? You mean that Ben guy?" "No, my other brother, Lex. He went back overseas some time ago and was about to force us to come with him. He ignored what we wanted to do. He refused to listen to us, and it just sucked. If it wasn't for Ms. Oichi, we would be back on a plane to a boring day with him. He'd just place us in private schools and colleges."

She sighs. "Even now…today is my birthday and he hasn't called me once…" Yukio looked down. "I see. Your bother sounds a bit like my parents." "Really? Where are they? If you don't mind me asking." "They are dead. Committed suicide." "Oh! I'm so sorry." Amanda says with a shocked expression. "Don't be. They weren't all that good in parenting." Amanda rubbed her arm. "I feel you on that. My dad is gone and…that woman is in jail…which is too good for her in my opinion." "Not on good terms?" Yukio asked finishing the game. "No, after what she did to use and Kenny, I'll never forgive her. Never." Yukio could see sadness and pain in her eyes. "Hey, play a game with me." The look vanished and was replaced by happiness. "Okay! Let's play!"

Oichi and Grimmjow were at their old home, packing up their things. The twins were at daycare and Cyrus was left with Jess for the day. "Amanda is going to be so surprised when she gets back." Oichi says smiling as she put some pots in a box. She was on the phone with Ben. "Did you get everything on the list? Bah, Grim said he gave you a limit right. Just don't go past it. I wrote down everything you needed to get, and it was right under the budget. Okay…Okay…excuse me? I am not nagging. Yeah, yeah. Bye." She hangs up. Grimmjow walks in from loading the moving truck. He was holding a letter in his hand. "Oichi…" She looks at him and spots the letter. "What is that?" "…A letter from Tory." Oichi frowned and walked over to him. She takes it and opens it. "Dear my dear daughter…" She starts reading.

"I know that today is your birthday and while you are deciding to spend it with a woman who stole you away, your actual mother is thinking about you. I wish you would stop being so stubborn and come and see me. As an adult, you should see this in an adult view now. You must realize that the woman you are looking up to is doing nothing but using you to get money. Please my darling. Come see me so that we can talk. I miss you and your siblings so much and I regret not being about to spend any time with you. I love you. Please do not leave me rotting in this cage." Oichi looked at the letter with disgust. "Even in this letter, you can hear the lies. We can't let Amanda see this. I don't want her day ruined." Grimmjow took the letter and ripped it up. "For now, we can say this got lost in the mail or something, but if she gets another one, she should be the one to decide to read it or not, okay?" Oichi pouted. "Look at you sounding all mature."

Kokuto yawns as he gets up from his bed. Shuren was laying on his stomach in the nude. The blanket was covering his lower half. He chuckled and rubbed the sweat off his brow. "My, you must be very excited today. What is the occasion?" Kokuto grabbed his phone. "We got invited to Amanda's surprise birthday dinner." "And that reason alone made you want to pound me into the bed?" "I do admit I was a little pent up as well." "Sure, you weren't seeing me as Oichi? I know you have a thing for her." Kokuto chuckled. "So, what if I do. Gender has never mattered to me. I was just more attracted to you than anyone else." "So now that Oichi is in the picture you want her more now?" "Maybe, maybe not. Not to worry babe. I told you before we started dating that I would tell you to your face if I grew bored of you."

Shuren laughs. "Of course, Truth is, I may have found someone I am growing quite fond of someone as well. This was nice while it lasted, no?" Kokuto stretched. "Let's take a shower, Oichi sent a text and asked if I could pick up some ice from the store." Shuren got up. "Yes, yes. I'm right behind you."

At the docking stations, near the ocean, a gray car pulled up. The door opened and Szayel got out. He sighs brushing off his light pink sweater. Putting his hands in his pocket he walked towards the ocean and looked outward. Soon he will be leaving this place and moving on with his original plan. The heat around here was too much and he didn't want to be caught just yet. His phone started to ring. He answered it quickly. "It's been a while Szayelaporro." Szayel smirked and placed a hand over his chest. "Why hello, my former boss, Aizen." "I am pleased you answered my calls." "Of course, sir. It was thanks to you that I was able to go on with my experiments. I owe you a large debt and I am ready to repay it." He heard a soft chuckle. "I see, so that means everything is ready?" "Yes, I am just awaiting your orders. This will be my final task to you and then I must leave here." "Oh? So soon. Does that mean you have gained the samples of both the Mikcloud and Yamamoto families?" "Yes, to a degree. There were a few bumps on the road that is causing me to leave for now." "Interesting. Where will you be located at?" Szayel pushed his glasses up. "I have my plans in Scotland. Sure, Jetter may have flown back home but I have some dear friends who can help me for a while." "I see…then let me not keep you. Before you make your trip, I want you to listen to me closely and follow my directions understand." "Of course, sir." Szayel says with a smirk on his lips.

Around 7 pm, at Jess's home. There was a massive spread of food and drinks. Everyone was over to celebrate Amanda's party. The kids were in the playroom. Hisagi was making drinks for everyone. Florina and Jess were sitting next to each other snacking on food. Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Ichigo, Chad, Kokuto, Shuren, Ikkaku, Yumichika, and Nnoitra, were helping with the last of the decorations. Orihime and Tatsuki were helping move food around to make room for everything. Rangiku was chilling with Momo and Toshiro on the couch with a drink in her hand. Gin was sitting next to her. He had a cup in his hand half full of bourbon. "My, everything is so lively. Just to celebrate the daughter of Barragan. I'm more shocked that a lot of you showed up." Toshiro had his arm crossed. "I came because Momo asked me to and to make sure Rangiku doesn't get too drunk, pass out, and somehow forgets she has work tomorrow." Rangiku pouted and it made Gin chuckle. "I think Rangiku has approved in her work these days." Rangiku smiled and looked at Toshiro with a pleading look. "Just because Gin vouched for you doesn't mean you get a pass." Rangiku became gloomy. Gin kept his snaky grin on his face as he rubbed her back.

Oichi was placing a gift in the gift pile made for Amanda. "Hey, Oichi." She turns to Ben who was holding the twins. They were holding their juice cups. "Hey, Ben, did you bring your gift?" "Yup, she is going to freak out." Oichi laughs. "I'm glad you did something good with the money you made when you sold the manor and the land." "Yea, I don't want to look at that place anymore, and plus it is nothing more than a bad memory for me and my siblings." Oichi nods and then frowns. "Your mother sent a letter to Amanda…" Ben rolled his eyes. "I'm sure she did. Did you burn it?" "It got torn up but, Grimmjow wants Amanda to be the one to decide if she wants the next one if there is one." "You did her a favor of doing it herself. The relationship with our mother is dead. In our eyes other than our father, you were the only person who actually treated us like a mother should have." Naomi hit Ben on his cheek. "Mine!" She yelled. Ben chuckled. "I'm not going to take your mom. Sheesh, why can't we share?" "Nooooo!" She yells shaking her head. Oichi laughed. "How cute."

The doorbell rings, Ulquiorra walks to the door and opened it. Danni, Nia, Ty, Kim, Shunsui, and Byakuya was staying there with gifts. "Hey there Ulquiorra." Ulquiorra let out a soft sigh and moved to the side. Danni rolled her eyes. "If you are going to get annoyed, be annoyed that your wife is so adorably friendly to invite everyone over for this party." They walked into the living room. "Mama! Auntie Nia! You both came." Nia smiled. "Of course, we did. Amanda is part of the family now. Mother and father sent gifts and wants pictures." Oichi smiled. "I'm sure she does." Danni chuckled. "Ty, Kim upstairs with the kids." Ty pouted. "We have to babysit?" "Just until Amanda and the others get here." Ty huffed out and went upstairs with his sister.

Reaching the playroom, they heard giggling and laughing from the kids. He opened the door to see Emma and Bella playing with a dollhouse with Nova. Eli, Noah, and Kazui were playing with blocks. Grayson and Ichika were playing on their tablets and Kendric was sitting beside Shelia who was up there watching them. She was reading him a book about butterflies. Emma looked up and smiled. "Kim! Come play!" Kim giggled and skipped over to them. Ty sighs and went to Shelia and Kendric. "Butterflies?" He asked. Shelia looked up and her checks slightly turned pink before turning away. "Yes. Kenny likes Butterflies and I promised to show him a lot." Ty sat on the other side of Kendric. "I see." Kendric looked at him then looked at Shelia whose cheeks were still a slight hint of pink. "Mhmm…" He says turning a page in the book.

An hour passed and Amanda, Yuzu, Karin, and Izzy were getting out of Yoshiro's car. Behind them, Jinta, Moe, and Yukio. "I still don't understand why we have to bring that guy for." Yoshiro says sighing. "If Amanda said it was okay, then leave it be." Izzy says. Because mostly everyone tried to carpool, there were fewer cars in the parking spots. It didn't gather too much suspension from Amanda." Izzy and Yuzu held back giggles as they went to the door. "Why don't you go in first." Karin says looking at Amanda. "As the birthday girl and all." Amanda hums out. "Okay but it's weird…the cars are here but the lights are out…" "Just open the door silly." Yuzu says with a bright smile. Amanda turned the knob and opened the door. They walked into the dark until suddenly the lights were turned on. "Surprise!" Everyone yelled as confetti poppers went off and sprinkles of glitter sparkled down from the ceiling. The kids threw up balloons screaming just as loud as everyone. Amanda gasps loudly with a shocked look on her face. "Surprise? Wait…for me!" Oichi chuckled. "Yes, honey. It's a surprise dinner party for your birthday!" Amanda smiled hard. "Oh my gosh! THANK YOU!" She yelled running to Oichi. She hugged her. "This is the best day EVER!" She screamed jumping up and down. Oichi laughed. "I'm happy you enjoyed it. Now we have food, gifts, and cake." Amanda let her good and did a happy dance. "I'm so pumped! I have to live stream this!" She says taking her phone out. Shelia sighs as she stood beside Ty. "Even at her own party, she has to stream." Ty chuckled. "Your sister is pretty cool to stream like this. Even Kim looks at it." Shelia huffs out.

The party went on through the night, Food and drinks were consumed. Oichi brought a cake for Amanda, and it had her name with a camera drawn under it. The numbers 19 were lit. Overcome with happiness, Amanda teared as everyone sang happy birthday to her. It had been such a long time since she had such a wonderful birthday. Games were played. Amanda live-streamed it until it was time to opened gifts. Sitting in the middle of the room, Amanda was giggling as Ben shifted the first of the gifts. In the back Yukio, Moe, and Karin were eating some cake. Yukio couldn't keep his eyes off her. Moe sighs. "If you like her, you should tell her." Karin turned her head sharply to Yukio who started to blush. "If you want to keep your head, you better not make her cry. Your lucky no one here recognizes you." She whispered. Yukio sighs. "Whatever…"

"Okay, so the first gift is from Jess." Ben says handing Amanda an envelope It was kind of small. Amanda opened it and gasped. "W-Whoa! Are these tickets!?" Jess nods. "Yup. Look closer." Amanda's eyes grew even wider. "Oh my gosh! These are tickets to the panic at the disco concert! And backstage passes! How did you get these!? They have been sold out for months!" Jess chuckled. "I have my ways." Amanda smiled. "Thank you so much!" Ben chuckled and handed her more gifts. She got brand new clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup kits, tutorial kits on doing nails, and more things. Soon it came down to the last gift. From Ben. Amanda looked behind him and saw nothing. "Um, brother? I don't see your gift…" Ben smiled. "Well, you are 19 now and you are growing into your own person. I talked to both Oichi and Grimmjow along with Lexton and we have agreed that you have become a responsible enough adult to care for your own." Amanda's eyes widen a bit as she stood up. Ben digs in his pocket and holds up a key. "So, with the money I made from the mansion and a few little side projects, we all came together and got you your first apartment."

Amanda's mouth dropped as she took the key. "W-Wait…I have my own place now!?" "Yup! The rent is covered for one year, so that should be enough to help you get on your feet." Oichi walked up. "Of course, you don't have to move in so quickly if you don't want to. I know this is a big step especially if you attend college and all." Amanda smiles softly and looked down at the key. She shook her head. "No, I want this. I've learned a lot from you in the time we spent together. I want to see if I can do it by myself. Thank you so much! Brother! Ms. Oichi!" She hugged Oichi and then she hugged Ben.

The door opened and closed. Grimmjow walked in with a sigh. Oichi chuckled. "Did you get it?" He nods. "Yup. Amanda, you got one more gift." Amanda let go of Ben. "I do?" "Come with me." He walked back outside; Amanda followed him with Oichi behind them. With it being dark, the streetlights were on. "Mr. Grimmjow where are we going?" Grimmjow stopped and pointed to a streetlight. Under it was a brand new 2018, gray Honda Civic. "Whoa! Such a pretty car!" Grimmjow smirked and held up the keys. "You mean, your pretty car." Amanda looked at the keys, then back to the car, then back to the keys, and it clicked. "OH MY GOD, YOU GOT ME A CAR!" She yelled. Her voice echoed through the street. Ben and the others were watching from the living room window. Amanda threw her arms around Grimmjow. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Grimmjow hugged her back with one arm. "That old fart of yours would be proud of you." Amanda let him go and smiled. "You think…" She rubbed her hands. "It's not like I don't like my dad. He was kind to me, and he allowed me to do what I pleased so long as I did it better than anyone else. Sure, sometimes he got strict but…" She tears up a bit, holding the keys. "I miss him…" Grimmjow placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't let his hard work go to waste then. Make that old fart proud" Amanda sniffs and nods. Oichi chuckles a bit. 'He is such a softie. It's so adorable.'

Around 11:45, At a private port, Szayel was watching his hired workers, move his stuff into the cargo hold of a small ship. He watched as they carefully pushed in a large wooden crate onto the front deck. He sighs and pulls out his phone. He speeds dials a number and waited. He kept ringing and ringing until someone picked up. He heard laughing in the background. "I have to take this. I'll be back." He heard. He waited for a second before he heard a sigh. "I'm surprised you are calling me like this. You got the samples and you agreed to cut contact from us." "That is true, I am only calling you because I am leaving." "Already? But that is ahead of schedule." "Yes, I think Starrk is hunting me and now another party group has entered the fray. I can no longer sit here and wait to be captured." "Mhm…so why are you calling me? I only agreed on a one-time job." "True but, now I need you for another. All I want for you to do is to keep tabs on things while I am gone. Nothing too hard for you to do right?" He heard a deep sigh. "Very well…just don't call me like this. I am at a party right now and with the company, I'm with, I could end up in the doghouse too. Have a safe flight, I guess." The line was hung up. Szayel chuckled and drops the phone on the ground. He steps on it, breaking it into pieces, and then kicked the pieces aside.

He turns out to the city and sighs. "I will be back once my goal is completed. It is not Aizen you should fear it is me and once I have finally perfected my perfect body, you will all see who the true leader is around here." He laughed to himself as he boarded his boat.

Moments later, it took off into the darkness of the sea. His boat blended in with the night sky, causing no alarm to the coast. Once he was far enough away to see the city lights disappear, Szayel watched his workers push the wooded crate closer to the edge of the boat. Using a few lights to see what they were doing, they cracked open the crate. "It is done, Master." Szayel walked to the front of the crate and chuckled. "I am such a genius. This should cause less worry for that former boss of mine. At least until I claim his head for myself. Dump it into the water, leave the crate." His workers nodded and grabbed the mysterious object out of the crate. They pushed it into the water and listened as it made a loud splash. Szayel laughed. "I know he said not to do anything extra, but I just think it would be foolish to not make it look too realistic. I'm sure he will thank me later." He laughed more as he put his hands behind his back. "Now, it's off to Scotland. There, I will lay low right under their nose. I will gain what I need to become the perfect being and I will destroy anyone who gets in my way." He laughs louder. His laughter echoed into the darkness of the sea.
