Chapter 30 (final chapter)
~4 years later~
On September 22nd, 2022, everything was silent at the Kuchiki manor. Nia was sleeping comfortably in bed alone. On her finger was a twisted halo diamond ring. Two years ago, she said yes to marrying Byakuya, and that following year they tied the knot. After their honeymoon, they were welcomed with a surprise.
The door to Nia's room opened and footsteps ran to the bed. Nia was woken up by the pull and tug on her blanket. She giggled as she heard grunting and finally a sigh of defeat, followed by the sound of whimpering. Nia sat up and looked down at the floor to see her now one-year-old son, Connor. He was the spitting image of Byakuya with short black hair and gray eyes. "Mama…" He whimpered out. "Good morning, Connor. What are you doing up?" She giggled and reached down to pick him up. He smiled and cuddled up to her. "Mama!" She rubs his back. "Did you run away from your dad? How naughty."
The door suddenly burst open. "Mom!" Nia sighs and smiles to see Kim who was 11. She had long red straight hair. She was wearing her school uniform and would be starting her last year in Elementary school. Due to a bad hurricane, the school building had been damaged and the school was delayed for a month. The children had to take online classes until they reopened.
"Good morning sweetheart. Are you ready for school?" "Yes, but I was looking for Connor! How did he make it up the stairs?" Nia sighs. "I wonder myself. He is becoming so active." Kim nods and then claps her hand together. "Oh! Auntie Danni called and said she and Walter will be home today. She said you can drop Conner off when you leave."
Walter was Danni's son with Shunsui. They had gotten married just last year, and Danni surprised everyone when she reviled that she was pregnant. Unfortunately, she had complications during birth this year. After having Walter, her womb had to be removed completely. She wasn't upset about it and was happy that Walter would be her last child.
Kim was pushed out of the way by Ty. "Stop standing in front of the doorway like an idiot." Kim frowned. "Don't push me, stupid brother!" She yelled. Ty was 12 and was starting his junior year. He was starting to get tall. His hair was mid-length and a little curly at the end. Like Ronnie and his brother, he now had burgundy tips at the end of his hair. Even at 12, he was becoming quite handsome. Though he had a bleak attitude towards everything. "Morning Ty. Make sure you both make it to the bus." Ty nods. "Got it. Dad was looking for Connor. I'll tell him that you have him." "Thank you, sweetheart. I made you both bento boxes. It should be in the kitchen." Kim smiled. "Yes! Thank mom! See you after school!" She ran off leaving Ty in the room. Nia tilts her head to the side. "Something bothering you honey?" "…River called." Nia hums out. "Did she now…" "She wanted to know if she and the girls could come over for lunch." "I don't mind that but Terry…" "He is working at the school right. He doesn't have to dictate over River and your grandkids." "Ty…" "He is so selfish. It's been four years and he still hasn't even tried to talk to you and yet he tries to pretend like everything is okay. When River got pregnant, he told everyone BUT you! He is nothing but…" He stopped talking. "Sorry, mom…I…I should get going." He left, closing the door behind him. Nia sighs. 'Ty…'
She heard Conor yawn. "Aw. Are you sleepy? Wanna sleep with mama?" He nods. Giggling, Nia lays him beside her and pulls the blanket over them. She rubs his back until he goes to sleep. "So cute. You look like a clone of your dad." While he dozed off, Nia was filled with sadness. Terry and River had eloped a few months after Oichi's wedding. Then she had to hear through social media that River had been carrying twins. Everyone including Danni and Oichi knew. Unfortunately, they were unaware that Terry didn't tell her anything and the ultrasounds River sent her were thrown away by him. After snapping at him a little, River personally came and gave Nia the picture of the ultrasound. She was happy that River wanted her in their lives but it made her sad that Terry still wanted nothing to do with her.
The door opened and Byakuya walked in. "Nia. Kim said Conner was in here?" Nia turns around and nods. "Yup, he is sleeping right beside me." Byakuya walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. "How are you feeling today?" "I'm fine." "Are you sure? Was I too rough with you last night?" She chuckled. "Of course, not honey. I am surprised how active you are though." He leans down and kisses her forehead. "Will you be going to work today?" "No, after I drop Conner off at Danni's. I'll stay home today. What time will you be home tonight?" "Around 7. I've instructed the cooks to make something special for Kim and Ty tonight. Do you mind if I invite Rukia and her family?" "That's fine. After all, we are all family now, right? Also, River wants to have lunch with the girls today" "That is fine." They shared a kiss before he got up. "I will see you when I get home. Don't try to push yourself in doing anything." Nia waves goodbye to him. 'My, so protective. It's cute.' Conner let out a tiny snore. Turning back over to him she poked his cheek as she watched him sleep.
"MOM!" A loud voice was heard at Ikkaku's home. Emma walked into the kitchen with a frown. She was 10 years old with short hair now. She was wearing her school uniform and wore a frown on her face. Storming into the kitchen she saw Ikkaku at the table drinking coffee. "Daddy!" She says changing her tune. "Morning princess. Your mother is upstairs." "Oh…have you seen my binder? I have my homework in it, and I don't want it to be late!" "Your binder? Hmm…it should be in the living room. Your mother was looking over it." Emma rolled her eyes and rushed to the living room.
She ran back holding it. "Found it! Are you taking me to school daddy?" "No, I have to get to work. Your mom will take you." "I want you to take me." "I'll take you tomorrow or you can ride the bus." Emma pouted. "Okay…" Ikkaku got up and rubbed her head. "Don't give your mom a hard time alright." "Okay, daddy. Have a good day!" Ikkaku grabbed his keys and left for work. Moments later Mizuho walked down in her work clothes. "Emma darling, were you calling for me?" "I was looking for my binder." "Oh, I'm sorry. I wanted to go over it before you turn it in." "Are you taking me to school?" Mizuho gasps. "I forgot about that. Sorry, honey, you have to catch the bus. I have a meeting to get to." Emma sighs. "I knew daddy should have taken me…" She grabbed her bag and walked to the door. "Daddy never forgets anything." She opened the door and slammed it shut. Mizuho sighs. 'Why is she so against me.'
Emma was waiting outside when the bus came. Mizuho walked out of the house with her bag and keys. "Emma! Have a good day at school!" Emma ignored her and got on the bus. Mizuho frowned and got in her car.
On the bus, Emma spotted Bella. "Bella!" Bella was going on 9 years old. Her hair was long almost down to her back, her cheeks were slightly puffy, almost like she had been crying. "Morning Emma. Why does your mom look so sad?" Emma sat beside her. "Who cares." Bella frowned. "Emma, you should be nice to your mom." Emma crossed her arm. "Why. She only likes daddy. She's always mean to uncle Keigo and Uncle Yumi…" She then gasps and turns around in the seat behind them. She smiled to see Eli. "Eli! Good morning!" Eli smiled and waved. He was 6, turning 7. "Hi Emma…" He says softly. She giggles at him. Turning back to Bella she frowned. "Are you okay?" Bella nods. "Yeah, mom scold me this morning." Emma gasp. "Auntie Mila did? What happen?" Bella bit her lip. "I said I hated daddy…he had to leave last week for a boxing match, and he hasn't been home. He promised that he would be here for my first day but he lied …so I yelled that I hated him and threw the phone." She tears up. "Mom was really mad and now I'm grounded." Emma looked down. "Oh…" Bella rubbed her eyes. "He lied though…so I don't know why I'm the one who gets yelled at…" Emma took her hand. "Yeah! That's not fair. Don't worry I'm here for you!" She hugged Bella and was hugged back.
At Oichi's, Grimmjow was in the kitchen cleaning up the breakfast dishes. His hair was short with an undercut. He was wearing a dark blue suit and his suitcase was sitting on the counter. He looked at his watch and walked to the start of the stairs. "Hey! Get down here now! You're going to be late for the bus!" His voice echoes. He heard a door open, and the first one down was Shelia who was 13. She had cut her hair short. "Morning Grim!" "Morning, you kept your hair short?" She nods and watches him narrow his eyes. "Is it because Ty said it looked better short?" Shelia blushed and looked down. "You better not follow that boy's pace. I'd hate to have to fight a kid." Shelia pouted and went to get her bag from the living room. He then heard footsteps running along with giggling. Placing his hand on his hip he chuckled to see Naomi and Alisha who were now 6 years old. Naomi had short hair while Alisha had long hair. It was put in a low ponytail. They were starting Elementary school today.
"Daddy! I'm ready!" Naomi says reaching the stairs first. She was wearing a dark blue shirt with black pants and shoes. "Me too!" Alisha says smiling. She was wearing a light blue dress with black leggings and flats. "Good, go put your jackets on and grab your bags." "Okay, daddy!" They said together. They giggled running to the living room. "That's three…now where is the fourth. Cy! Get down here or your going to miss the bus!" There was no answer. "Cy! Don't make me come up there!"
He heard a door open and close. Cyrus yawned as he walked to the edge of the stairs. He was 4 turning 5 at the end of the month. He was starting Kindergarten. He had a horrible bed head as he walked down the stairs half-sleep. "Cy…didn't I tell you to go to bed early?" "I did…" "Go let your sister brush your head down. Though I doubt it would fix that hair of yours." "K…" Cyrus says yawning, walking to the living room.
He then heard his and Oichi's bedroom door open. He sighs slightly heading back to the kitchen. Kendric soon came around the corner with his bag on his back. He was 8. His black hair had was growing out and it kind of fell over his eyes a little. Oichi usually puts it in a ponytail. "The bus is nearly here. Do you have everything?" Oichi called out. "Yes, mama." Kendric says heading to the living room. Oichi walked, more like wobbled, into the kitchen. She kept her hair in a permanent color of purple and it was now wavy and went down her back. Not much had changed other than the growth span of her hips.
With the kids being older now and starting school, she and Grimmjow started to try again for another baby, and it happened more quickly than they thought. Even more surprising, Oichi was carrying not one, not two, but three this time around! Triplets, all boys. She was 5 months, but her belly looked bigger.
"You good babe?" Grimmjow asked, making her a glass of water. "Yeah, it's a little hard to walk around this morning but other than that I'm fine!" She gave him a bright smile. "Are the kids riding the bus?" "Yeah, but I'll be taking Cy to kindergarten as I did for the girls and soon these three titans." He placed a hand on her belly. She smiled and placed a hand over his. "Triplets. Who would have thought right?" "Yeah, it's scary how fertile you are but sexy too. I think we can pull off one more after this don't you?" He kissed her cheek making her laugh. "How many kids could you possibly want." He wrapped his arm around her. "Well, it gets rough after you hit a certain age, right? I don't want you to end up like your mom…" Oichi taps his face. "Everything will be alright honey. Now come on, let's see the kids off for school, then off to work you go."
They walked into the living room together. "Morning mama!" The twins say together. "Good morning! Alisha thank you for trying to fix your brother's hair." Alisha smiled holding up a brush. Cyrus looks like he could doze off at any moment. "Why is he so damn sleepy all the time…he is the complete opposite of Grayson…" Grimmjow says mumbling. "It's not a bad thing." Oichi says with a short laugh. There was a knock on the door. Shelia went to open it. "Oh! Good morning Ms. Jess." In front of her, Jess smiled. She looked the same other than her now short red hair. It had once been so long it went to her ankles, but after Nova slammed her hair in the door on accident, she decided to cut it. She had a baby bag on her shoulder and a stroller. Inside were hers and Ulquiorra's 7-month-year-old twin girls. Named Harley and Elvira. They both shared Jess's red hair just like Nova and Aerith. Their eyes were both dark green.
Beside Jess was Nova, who was 5 going on 6. She had long red hair that was put in two braids that went over her shoulders. "Hi, Shelia!" "Hi Nova, Cy is in the living room." Nova giggled and rushed in with her unicorn bag.
Jess shook her head and walked in, pushing the stroller inside. "Oichi! Grimmjow! Good morning!" She called out. Oichi smiled. "Morning Jess. Where is Aerith?" "With her dad of course. Jess says sighing. "I thought she would want to come over and see you, but Ulquiorra is in her sights today." Oichi laughed. "How adorable. It was good that you guys finally moved next door. Now we are neighbors." Jess smiled brightly at her. "I know! I'm happy we decided to move. We have more space for the girls now."
"The bus is coming!" Shelia called from outside. Oichi clapped her hands. "Okay, kids let's go. Time for the bus." The twins and Kendric got up and rushed out the door. "Bye, mama! Daddy! Auntie Jess!" The twins yelled together. Kendric simply walked out behind them. "Cy, Nova. Let's go." Grimmjow says grabbing his keys. "Thank you for taking her today Grim." "you're lucky I was in a good mood." Jess rolled her eyes at him. Nova rushed around the corner holding Cyrus's hand. "Cy won't get up uncle!" Grimmjow groans and thumps Cyrus on his forehead. That jolted him awake. "When I tell you to go to bed. Go to bed." Cyrus pouted and rubbed his head. He notices Nova was holding his hand and pulled away from her. It made her frown, but she put up a smile. Oichi kissed Grimmjow's cheek. "Have a good day at work honey. "I can't make any promises." He says pushing Nova and Cyrus out the door.
The bus was just pulling off as he got them into the car. Oichi and Jess waved at them, watching them leave. "Looks like Nova's crush is developing." Oichi says with a chuckle. Jess giggled. "We really might be in-laws in the near future!" They giggled more as they walked back inside together.
On the bus, Shelia was on the back sitting next to Ty. Kim was sitting in front of them reading. "…I heard…that your mom tried to contact you." Ty said. Shelia sighs. "Yeah, Oichi and Grim let me decide how I was going to handle it." "What did you do?" He asked. "She sent a letter trying to tell me how she has changed but at the same time, she bashed Oichi on how she stole us away and called her awful things. I ripped the letter up. I don't want anything to do with her." Ty looks down. "…you almost sound like Ter…but it's a different situation, I guess. Your mom doesn't sound like she is trying to change at all but my mom…" He let out a deep sigh. Shelia placed a hand on his arm. "I get it to a degree…your mom hurt your brother and she changed for yours and your sister's sake but something like that can't be changed with a simple conversation." "I know but I just wish he would at least hear what she has to say before dismissing her or calling her a liar." "What if he listens and he still hates her?" Ty balls his fist up. "Then so be it. I just want him to listen to her. He wasn't the only one suffering at that time."
Kim pops her head up over the seat. "Brother is dumb. He is always like that. He greets us and puts on a fake smile but, in truth, he is jealous." "What makes you say that?" Shelia asks, moving her hand away from Ty. "I heard it from Kayla. She thinks Terry doesn't know how to approach mama without lashing out at her. She also said that she thinks he is jealous that we get to see the motherly side of her while he had to deal with…well you know." Ty rolled his eyes. "Then your right. He is dumb."
In the front near Bella and Emma. Naomi and Alisha were sitting in front of them while Kendric was sitting beside Eli. Emma looks over the seat at the twins. "Hey!" Naomi looked up. "Hi!" "Is auntie, okay?" Alisha nods. "Mama looks like she is gonna fall sometimes." Bella pops over as well. "Really! Mom said her tummy was really big!" "Yeah! Like this big!" Naomi says stretching her hands out. "Ooo having three brothers seems super cool!" Emma says and then frowns. "Mom said she isn't having any more kids. Ugh." She sits back and crosses her arms. "I wish I had brothers and sisters." Bella sits back and smiles. "We can be sisters. Auntie Oichi calls Ms. Jess sister all the time!" Emma's eyes shine. "Oh! Your right! Yes! Let's be sisters!" They giggled together.
"You're both so loud…" Kendric says rubbing his head. Bella blushes. "O-Oh…sorry Kenny." Emma puffed her cheeks out. "Don't be mean! I'll be as loud as I want!" She yelled. "No yelling on the bus!" The driver calls out. Other kids giggled at Emma as her cheeks turned a hint of red. She shot a glare at Kendric before turning around in her seat. Kendric sighs and turns to Eli who had half dozed off on his shoulder. With Emma's loud voice he didn't want him to be woken just yet.
On a septate bus, Grayson who was 8 now, was sitting in the back playing a game on his new handheld console called the phantom drive. It was a brand-new device that had just hit the markets. He was playing one of his favorite games that were made by the same company as the device. It was called monster spree. He felt someone sit beside him but didn't look up. "Gray! Good morning!" He heard. He looks up to see Ichika who was 7. She had med-length hair and was running her hand through it with a slight blush. "Hey…" He says before going back to his game. Ichika pouted. "That's all you have to say?" Grayson ignored her and kept playing. Ichika frowned until she heard snickering. She looks to the seat next to them and saw Kazui and Noah sitting across from them. Kazui was also playing the same game. "I don't know why you bother. No one cares that you got your hair cut." Kazui says playing the game.
Noah beside him was wearing glasses. His black hair what mid-length with slight curls at the end. He was reading a book, not really interested in the conversation that was about to happen." Ichika crossed her arms. "Shut up! Mind your own business!" She huffed out and turned back to Grayson. "What are you playing today?" That got his attention. "It's called monster spree." "What's it about?" "It's about a world that is full of monsters, and you have to beat the top 20 elite bosses to be the number one monster in the world. You have to make a monster character, find exp shards to level yourself up. Do missions to buy gear, potions, and other stuff." Kazui chuckled. "What did you pick Gray?" "Mmm…I picked a panda bear."
Kazui stopped playing. "Really? Those are super passive though?" "So? The race doesn't really matter, they just give you an advance of one skill. I have high healing stuff but I'm gonna be a tank." Kazui's eyes widen, and he sat up. "Really!? I'm gonna wipe the floor with you then!" He grins. "I picked a wolf and I'm making him be an assassin! I challenge you!" He says pointing. Ichika looked lost. "The game is wireless so you can do PVP matches. Player vs players." Grayson says, saving his game. "You can get a lot of points for beating someone and you get rank points." Grayson smirks. 'He has no idea how high I am in the charts. Just more points for me to feed on.'
The busses started to fill into the school lot, letting children off. At the kindergarten building, Grimmjow was pulling up with Nova and Cyrus in the back. He parked and got out. Opening the back door, he helped them out. Nova giggled in excitement while Cyrus yawned. They walked in front of Grimmjow and walked into the building. A teacher walked up. "Good morning. May I have your name?" "Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. Dropping off Cyrus Jaegerjaquez and Nova Cifer." The teacher wrote it down. "Will you be picking them up?" "No, Jessica Cifer will be here to get them or my wife Oichi. They can also be released to Ulquiorra Cifer." The teacher nods. "Thank you. If you want to add any more subs to get them, you will have to go to the front office." "Yeah, yeah. I know the process." The teacher smiles. "Okay you two, I'll show you where you will put your things at." Nova nods. "Bye, uncle!" She says waving. "Bye, daddy…" Cyrus says yawning. Grimmjow lets out a sigh and looks at the teacher. "Cy has a small issue with staying awake. Be as hard on him as you want." Cyrus pouted. Grimmjow waved bye before taking his leave.
The teacher walked Nova and Cyrus to their classroom and opened the door. Nova smiled more seeing Sophie who was 5. "Sophie!" She called out. She skipped over to her. Sophie smiled. "Hi, Nova." They hug with a giggle. Cyrus walked by them and put his bag in his assigned cubby.
Outside, the bus pulled up in the bus loading park and opened the doors, Kids filed out heading to class. Kazui stormed off the bus with a red face. "I can't believe I lost to a panda!" Noah shook his head and followed him. Grayson got off next smirking as he put his game in his bag.
At the daycare center, which was still a separate building from the main school, Mila was sitting at her desk as she sighs papers from new parents. There was a knock on the door, looking up she smiled, standing up. "Madam Harribel! Good morning!" Harribel walked in with her arms crossed. "Good morning as well." "Have Morgan and Lizzy come today?" "Yes, their father has taken them to their room now. I came to check on you." "Me? Why?" "I got a call from Chad…" Mila frowned. "I see…" She sat back down. "Did you and Bella get into a fight?" "I can hardly call it that. Bella is such a sweet and obedient child. However, since Chad decided to get back into boxing, he has to go back into training. I thought Bella understood this." She rubbed her head. "It's not Bella's fault though, and I shouldn't have snapped at her. If Chad would stop making promises he can't keep, then…" She groans. "Why are men so complicated." Harribel walked over to her and sat in front of the desk. "Chad sound stressed over the phone. Are you sure it's just this with Bella?" "Stress? He hasn't spoken to me if anything has been bothering him. I've always told that lard to talk to me if he was upset about something." "Then maybe you should call him. I think the issue is a bit more than Bella." Harribel got up. "I do not want to butt in, but I do not want to see you unhappy. You found a place to belong, and I am happy for you. I would hate to have to kill that man if he does you wrong. Have a nice day." She says with an icy tone.
Mila shook and then sighs. 'What could be worried about now. He thinks about everyone but himself. He's so stupid…' She rubs her face and then smiles. "Such a fool, but that's what I love about him."
In one of the rooms, Mikey was crouching down as he looked at his twins, Morgan and Elizabeth, who liked to be called Lizzy. They were light brown-skinned with black hair and matching purple eyes. Izzy's hair was cut short while Morgan wanted to grow his out. They were tearing up at him. "Noo! I don't wanna!" Morgan cried. Mikey laughed and rubbed their heads. "It's only going to be for a few hours. I promise." Lizzy puffed her cheeks out. "Brother, such a cry baby." "I am not!" "Are you too!" "AM NOT!" ARE TO!" They started yelling at each other. This made Mikey laugh even more. "Okay, okay. No fighting. You don't want your mom to hear you, do you?" They quickly gasp and looked down.
"Lizzy!" They heard a loud voice call out. Lizzy smiled and turned to see Maki who was now 4. Her orange hair and eyes stuck out between the kids. Behind her was Remi, Rangiku, and Gin's daughter. Remi also had orange hair that went straight down and clear blue eyes. "H-Hi Lizzy." She says shyly. Lizzy giggled and ran to them. "Hi!" She tackled both girls into a hug making Mikey chuckle. "Uncle!" Mikey saw Darrius walking up with Reiki. "Hey, Darrius. How is your mom?" "She's okay." "And your dad?" Darrius rolled his eyes. Mikey laughed more. "I see. It's time for me to go." He ruffled Morgan's head. "Have fun okay. I'll be back to pick you and your sister up later." Morgan tears again. "Come on, no tears. I'll be back." Reiki walked up and grabbed his hand. "You be with us today." He says with a smile. Morgan nods. Darrius sighs and walked off with them. Mikey smiles softly and leaves the room.
As he was leaving, he ran into Ulquiorra who was holding Aerith. "Hey there, I see you brought another of your wife's clones with you." Ulquiorra was silent and walked by him. "Rude as ever I see." Aerith turned around and gave him a blank stare that matched her father's. Mikey shiver. "They might look like Jess, but they got his attitude for sure."
As the day went on, Oichi was at her shop working on a new design when she felt a bit stiff. She moved a bit and felt the triplets moving around. "Ah, seems like you three are active today." Mizuho walked over to her. "You okay Oichi?" "Yeah, but I need to sit down for a bit. Do I have any appointments for today?" "Yes, but just one. They should be arriving in about 20 minutes." "Okay, I'm going to sit for a minute, let me know when they are here." Mizuho nods and then rubs her arm. "Actually Oichi, may I have a moment?" "Sure thing, let's head to my office."
They headed to the back and walked inside. Oichi took a seat at her desk and sighs out. "Ah, that feels nice…so what's up?" Mizuho sighs. "It's about Emma…" "Is she okay?" "She's fine…I…I just don't know what to do anymore. She treats me so rudely even when she was a toddler. When she speaks to her father, she is as sweet as a princess but when it's me, it's like she turns into a different person." "Really? Oh wow. I wouldn't have thought Emma would do that. Have you spoken to Ikkaku about it?" "Not really. I feel like all he is going to say is that she will grow out of it." Oichi brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. "Hmm…children are very impressionable. I know Keigo said something about this." Mizuho's eye twitched. "What did my stupid brother say? Was he talking behind my back! That loser!" Oichi held her hands up in defense. "N-No nothing like that…he said that Emma acts a lot like you. She shows the most affection to the ones she cares about the most. She sees how you love and dote on Ikkaku, and I guess she fell into that step? Maybe?" Mizuho lets out a little growl. "That doesn't explain why she is nice to Yumichika! I could care less about him. So long as I have my darling, I don't need anyone else." Oichi rubs her cheek. "Yumichika spoils her so it's that hard for him to like him. It's as simple as that. You need to talk to Ikkaku. Then you both have a sit down with Emma." Mizuho sighs. "I guess you are right. Sorry for bringing this up?" "It's no issue. Also, this is just my opinion from raising a few girls on my own. Moms tend to be a bit tougher on their daughters and sometimes a firm hand leads them to not liking you. Not saying that is happening now but it's tough raising daughters sometimes huh." Mizuho sighs. "I hear you on that…"
There was a rushed knock at the door, and it was opened by an employee. "Ma'am! I'm sorry but we have an issue!" Oichi frowned and got up, huffing out. "What's going on?" She asked as she walked out with Mizuho. "An unruly customer." "Apacci should be enough to deal with that. She's head of security now."
They walked into the center of the store where an older man was screaming at the top of his lungs at Apacci. Behind him was a young woman who had a red mark on her cheek. "What the fuck is your problem! How dare you talk back to me!" The man screamed. "How about you get out of here before I kick your ass! Your nothing but scum!" "What's going on here?" Oichi called out getting their attention. "This jackass hit this chick and I was about to throw his ass out! Why don't you go back to your office and chill or something! I got this handled." Apacci yelled. Oichi frowned and looked at the woman. She had long black hair that was put in two side ponytails and dark pink eyes. She glared at the man holding her cheek. "Why did you strike that woman?" Oichi asked. "The bitch was talking back to me. I had to put her in her place. All women need to do is be the dogs they were meant to be." Oichi sighs holding her head. "Your way of thinking is disgusting. I don't know what times you were raised in, but that way of thinking isn't tolerated here or in this city. I suggest you leave before I call the cops." "You think I'm going to let some knocked-up bitch tell me what to do!? Ha! I can outbuy this store, tear it down, and turn it into a strip club if I wanted to!"
Oichi was getting a headache. "Apacci please take care of this. Just listening to this nonsense is just sad at this point." Apacci cracked her knuckles. "Gladly." "You think I'm going to be…" Before he could open his foul mouth, Apacci punched him in the mouth. The man gaps out as a few of his teeth cracked and broke. He stumbled back but the woman he hit, stuck out her leg and tripped him, making him fall on his back. Apacci grabbed the man and started dragging him outside. "Stupid men! Talking all that shit, and you couldn't even back it up." She opened the door shocking some people who were walking by. She tossed the man out. "Get the hell out of here and never come back! If you do, your teeth will be the last of your worries!" She slammed the door closed.
Mizuho helped the woman up. Oichi walked over to her. "Are you alright?" The woman snatched away from Mizuho. "Do it look like I'm alright?" She held her cheek. "I'm sorry. We should get some ice for that." One of the employees rushed to the back. "Do you have anyone we can call?" Oichi asked getting close to her. The woman backed up. "Stop crowing me, chick. I don't want to be knocked back down by your fat ass." Mizuho placed a hand on her hip. "What is your deal! We just helped you. How dare you be so rude!" "I didn't ask for your help! I was fine on my own!"
Apacci glared at the woman. "Maybe that man wasn't the only scum in this store. I'm starting to think you deserved to get backhanded." The woman ignored her. "I came in here to talk to the manager of this place! If you don't have anything else to do but waste my time you can leave me alone!" The woman snapped.
The place grew silent as all eyes were on this woman. Mizuho tilts her head to the side as anger showed in her eyes. "What did you say?" "Mizuho wait…" Oichi called out, but it was much too late. Mizuho stormed up to the girl and grabbed her arm roughly. "How stupid can you be! You have the worst attitude I have ever seen! Not only do we help your pathetic ass in a situation that could have been much worse, but you also have the gal to stand here all prideful and be rude to the person you are looking for!"
The woman's eyes widen and look at Oichi who was looking uncomfortable. "W-Wait…this fat cow is the manger? Where is the owner then?" Mizuho points to Oichi. The woman frowned. "No way…she doesn't look like she owns this place. I heard the person who own this spot was a respectable woman with high tides in the town hall. No way a chick like that could be in that spot." Mizuho had enough. "Get the hell out! Don't ever come back to this store!" She pushed the woman away, right into a fuming Appaci's arms. "What!? No! I came to speak to the owner! I will not leave! Let me go! Unhand me!" She screams.
Oichi sighs. "Apacci let her go." Apacci frowned. "You sure." "Yes, I would like to hear what she has to say." Apacci sighs and lets her go. "Follow me to my office, we can talk there. As for everyone else, back to work please." Mizuho frowned at this but sighs.
Oichi and the woman went to her office. She sat down with a sigh and the woman sat in front of her. "Are you really the owner of this place." "Yes, my name is Oichi Jaegerjaquez. The owner of this place." The woman's eyes widen slightly. "Did you say…Jaegerjaquez?" "Yes. Are you familiar with my husband by any chance?" Oichi narrowed her eyes. "A lot of his former 'friends' come in here to try to harass me so if you are one of those then I will have to ask you to leave and never return." "Why would I be that jackass floozy?" "Then what can I do for you Ms.…" "My name is Loly. Since you seem like you're the owner of this place…I want to make a request." "A request. That's strange since you treated me so rudely." "Shut up and listen. I want to buy this place from you." Oichi stares at her. "Uh…come again?" "I said I want to buy this place from you! How much do you want for it!? Name your price!" Oichi was confused. "This place isn't for sale." Loly stood up and slammed her hands on the desk. "I have a lot of money here! I just need you to hand over this shop! You don't need it! With a man like your brute husband, you shouldn't even have to work!"
"I said it's not for sale and just because my husband works don't mean I want to be stuck inside doing nothing." Loly bit her lip. "I don't know why you are trying to come in here randomly and trying to buy me out, but I have no intention of ever selling my dream. What makes you think you can come in here and try this anyways. No sane person would just willingly agree to give you, their business." Loly sat in silence.
Out on the floor, Apacci was thinking to herself. 'Where have I seen her before…' She scratches her head. Mizuho walked up to her. "What's wrong?" She asked. "I think I know that chick. I'm trying to remember…mmm…" She then snaps her finger. "Oh right! She was that whore that stuck close to that jerk Aizen. I heard she ran away from that place. I wonder what she is here for now." Mizuho sighs. "I hope she isn't trying to beg Oichi for help. You know how soft she is." "No way, I'll never let that happen. That girl is crazy. We need to watch out for her."
Back in Oichi's office, she was tapping her fingers. "Is there anything else I can do for you? If you are having money issues, I don't have a problem with you working here at least." Loly gripped her fist as her anger boiled. "Y-You owe me." Loly mumbles. "Excuse me?" "You stole everything away from me! The least you can do is give me what I owe!" Oichi was a bit shocked at this outburst. "I don't even know you!" Oichi says getting up. This was bringing up bad memories from when she had to deal with Luppi. "You ruined my life! The least you could do is give me something! It's not fair that I had to live like this!" She screamed. "What are you talking about!? I have never met you before until today!" She hit the panic button under her desk for Apacci. "It's your fault!" Loly screamed as she stood up and grabbed the desk. Oichi's eyes widen as she flipped over. She couldn't move fast enough, and the desk fell on top of her. She screamed out in pain right as the door was kicked open. Loly gasp at what she did. "Oh no…" Apacci ignored her for the moment and moved the desk. "Oichi!" Loly took this chance to run as the others came in to check on Oichi. "Quick call 911!" Mizuho yelled. "Catch that bitch!" Apacci yelled in anger. Loly panicked more and made it to the front door. She slammed it open, almost hitting Jess and Nel who was walking up.
"Hey! Watch it!" Jess says. She had pulled the stroller back to avoid the hit. Nel frowned. "Loly? What are you doing here?" Loly's face grew pale. "I'm…I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!" She yelled before running off. Nel and Jess looked at each other in confusion. "Did you know her?" Jess asked. "Yeah, she use to…" The door opened again and Apacci raced out. "Where did she go! I'll crush her head open!" Jess's twins started to get fussy. "Hey, calm down. What's going on?" Nel asked. Apacci looked at her. "Loly that bitch! She pushed a desk on top of Oichi!" Jess's eyes widen and she speeds inside with the stroller. Oichi's cries could be heard from her office. Another worker was on the phone with the dispatcher. "Oichi!" Jess yelled pushing the stroller beside the wall in the office. Mizuho was propping her up. Jess went to her. "Oichi what happened!? Are you okay!?" "NO!" Oichi screamed out holding her stomach. "My stomach! My babies!" She yelled in fear and panic. Jess held her hand. "It's okay! Don't panic, help is coming." Nel rushed in on the phone. "Don't bite my head off! I don't know what happened either! Just get over here!" She hangs up. "Grimmjow is heated…but he is on the way." "Let's get you off the floor can you move." Oichi sniffed and sat for a moment. They then watched as she grew pale as more tears leaked out of her eyes. "What's wrong?" Jess asked. Oichi "…I…I can't move my legs." Their eyes widen. "What!?" They said in unison.
Grimmjow was speeding down the road. His fist gripped the steering wheel so hard that his knuckles were turning white. 'I knew I should have made her stay home. I fucking knew it!'
When he got to the store, there was an ambulance at the store already and it was pulling off. Jess was standing there with a worried look. Grimmjow pulled up to the side. She looked surprised at first but rushed to the car. Grimmjow got out as she took the twins out of the stroller. As she got in the passenger seat with the girls, he put the stroller in the back seat, hop back in the driver's seat, and drove after the ambulance. "Nel is in there with her." Jess says texting Ulquiorra. "What happened." He asked. Jess could see he was trying his best to stay calm. "I'm not sure myself. Nel and I got there after it happened but according to Mizuho and Apacci, it was an old coworker of yours." "Which ones?" "I think her name was Loly?" Grimmjow snitched his teeth. "That damn whore…she was Aizen's favorite slut at the time. She dipped when Aizen didn't want her, and I heard she was pregnant." Jess frowned. "They said, she came in there and bad mouth Oichi after they saved her from a random man. Apacci was going to throw her out but, Oichi wanted to hear what she had to say. Moments later, Apacci got an alarm alert from the office and by the time she got there, that woman had flipped Oichi's desk on top of her."
She saw Grimmjow shake. "Is she okay…" Jess turned away. "Jess…is she okay…" "S-She…she said her stomach was hurting but we didn't see any blood only bruises but…she." Jess tears a bit. "she said she could feel her legs. She scared Grimmjow." Grimmjow said nothing as they drove in silence.
They made it to the hospital. The Ambulance took the back entrance. Grimmjow parked in the parking lot. "Go on, I'll be behind you." Jess says taking his keys. Grimmjow ran through the lot and went inside as they unloaded Oichi. She was in tears. "Oichi!" He called out. "G-Grim…" Reaching her and grabbed her hand as they pushed her inside the building. "It's going to be okay. I'm right here." One of the nurses came up and grabbed his arm. "Sir…" "I know." Grimmjow says as they pushed Oichi to the back. Nel walked up behind her. "They aren't too sure, but they think the triplets might have something to do with the loss of feeling in her legs." "What? How!?" "I don't know…hopefully Uryu can tell us something."
45 minutes went by, but it felt like forever with Grimmjow. He was pacing in the waiting room. Nel was watching him with a tired expression. Jess and Ulquiorra were waiting as well. Elvira and Harley were sleeping on him. Jess rubbed her hands together worried. The door to the waiting room opened and Uryu walked in. Grimmjow stopped pacing and rushed to him. "Well?" "She will be fine. She had a large bruise on her side from where…" He sighs in frustration. "Where the desk fell on her. Luckily, the desk isn't very heavy, and she was able to cushion some of the blow with her hands. Her hands are swollen so she won't be able to hold anything for a few days." "And the babies?" Jess asked. "They are fine as well, unfortunately, one of them is resting on Oichi's spine, and it paralyzed her from the waist down. It's nothing permanent. The feeling should come back to her legs in a few hours." They all sighed out in relief.
"Grimmjow you can see her, she's on the private wing. She refuses to let us finish the treatment until you are with her." Grimmjow nods.
In the private rooms, Oichi was crying, and the nurses were unsure how to proceed. "If Nemu wasn't out on maternity leave she would be able to help us out." One of the nurses whispered. The door opened and Grimmjow rushed in. "Babe!" He ran around the side of the bed. "Hey, stop crying. It's okay." He rubbed her teary cheeks. "B-But…" "You are fine, and the babies are fine, okay? Our sons are tough, and it looks like one of them is causing you issues." Oichi sniffed, calming down. "There you go." He wipes the tears away with his thumbs. "Now, let the nurses finish the treatment. I'm right here." Oichi nods.
After 10 more minutes, Oichi was resting comfortably as she could, sleeping. Her hands were bandaged up and Grimmjow was putting light ointment on her bruised belly. The door opened and Jess walked in with Nel. "How is she?" Jess asked walking to the other side of the bed. "Okay. I'm going to need your help." Grimmjow says. Jess smiled. "Of course, my dear brother-in-law. You need my help with keeping Oichi rested?" "Yeah, she's going to make a fuss but that's not all." "Oh? You need my help with something else?" "Your friend. River? She owes that herbal store I built right." Jess nods. "I see where you're going. I'll give her a call right now." Jess leaves the room.
Nel sighs sitting down. "Loly…what was she thinking." "That bitch is dead when I catch her." "Grimmjow…" "No, I don't care Nel. She was fine when she was hiding but she crossed a line. I'll gut that bitch when I see her." Nel sighs. "I heard she has a child now." "I don't care." "You should. You think Oichi will be happy that you killed her and left the child motherless?" Grimmjow growled deeply. "I'll take care of it." Nel says suddenly. Grimmjow's head snapped up. "What?" "I said I'll take care of." Nel had a cold look on her face. She held Oichi's hand. "I don't know why she hurt Oichi like this, but she made a mistake. You take care of Oichi, and I'll get Loly. Understand?" Grimmjow sighs. "Fine…you know. Every now and then you are scary as fuck…"
At the Kuchiki manor, Nia was sitting outside in the wildflower garden with River and her two twin girls Esme and Valora. They had turned one in April. Their skin was caramel, they had River's blue hair and her soft skin. Valora had River's blue eyes and Esme had Terry's golden eyes. They were wearing matching one piece that said, 'grandma's girls.'
Nia giggled as she snuggled them both. "It's still hard to believe that I have grandchildren now. They are so cute and soft!" The twins giggled cuddling her back. River smiled as she sips on some tea. "I'm sorry about Terry." River says with a sigh. "It's fine dear. You don't have to apologize for him anymore." River smiles softly. She heard her phone ring. "Oh, excuse me." She grabbed her purse and grabbed her phone. 'It's Jess.' She answered. "Hello?" "River! Where are you right now?" "I'm having lunch with Nia." "I'm sorry to pull you away but I need you to bring some medicine to the hospital right now. It's for Oichi." "Did she go into labor?" "No…she…some woman…" River heard a loud sound. "My lady…did you just punch something." "…I had to. I'm so angry. Some woman flipped a damn desk on top of Oichi." "WHAT?" River says standing up. Nia and the twins jumped. "Is she okay!?" "Yes, thank the Gods…she has a large brush on her belly, her hands are swollen from cushioning the blow of the desk, and one of the boys is sitting on her spine right now. It's temporarily paralyzing her from the waist down." "Oh my…I am on the way!" "Thank you." Jess says hanging up.
"Everything alright dear?" Nia says with a concerned look. "I have to leave; can you watch the twins." "Of course, is it about Oichi?" River nods and tells her what she just heard from Jess. Nia gasp. "Oh no, then yes, quickly be on your way. The twins will be fine with me." River nods and kisses the girl's cheeks before disappearing. "I don't think I could get used to that…" She stands up puts the girls on each hip and heads back inside.
Around 3, the ending bell was sounded, and the kids started to file out. In the office though, Shelia, Kendric, Grayson, Naomi, and Alisha had been pulled from class in the last 10 minutes. Grayson crossed his arms. "Why did we get sent here." Alisha tears up. "Did…we do something bad?" Naomi rubbed her back. "No way! We are good girls!" Kendric pats Alisha on the head calming her down. "I'm sure it's nothing." Alisha sniffs and nods. Shelia felt uneasy.
"Brother!" They saw Sophie running to him. Giggling she hops in his lap. "Sophie? What are you doing here?" "Uncle and daddy are here!" They got up to see Ulquiorra and Nnoitra walking up. Nova was being carried by Ulquiorra while Cyrus walked beside them with a yawn. "Uncle!" Naomi says smiling. Kendric frowned. "Did something happen to mama?" The kid's eyes widen, and they turned back to Ulquiorra and Nnoitra. "We came to pick you up. Let's go." "What about Ms. Oichi!? Is she okay?" "I'm taking you to her. Neither she nor Grimmjow can come to get you right now. No more questions, let's go." Ulquiorra says turning around. Sophie slid off of Grayson and ran to her father. She held her hands up giggling. Nnoitra picked her up. The rest of them followed.
They quickly arrived at the hospital and Ulquiorra took them to Oichi's room. Jess and Nel were sitting outside the room. "Mama!" Nova says waving. Jess smiles. "Hi, sweetie." The twins were asleep in their stroller and Aerith was drinking out of her juice cup next to Jess. "How is she?" Nnoitra asked. "Surprised you care." Nel says taking Sophie from him. "The chick is cool. That's all."
The door opened and River walked out with a bag. "I've done what I can Lady Jess." "Thank you, River. "This woman…if you give me her name, I'm sure Terry and I can find her." "No, she's mine." Nel says. River looked at Jess who nods. "Very well. I left some medicine with Grimmjow, and I'll stop by to check on her." Jess nods and watches her leave. "What's going on?" Shelia says getting worried. "Why are we at the hospital if the babies aren't coming?" Jess's eyes narrowed at her husband. "You didn't tell them?" "You said to hurry, explaining would have taken too long…" Jess sighs. "Of course. Come here all of you." The kids crowded around her as she tells them what happened.
In the room, Grimmjow was covering Oichi up. She was sleeping. Just then the door opened with a teary-eyed Shelia. "Mom!" She cried running to the side of the bed. The rest of the kids rushed as well. "Mama!" The twin's tears cried. Kendric frowned looking at her. Cyrus's eyes widened, confused. "M-Mama…was hurt…" He put the back of his finger in his mouth. "Calm down, calm down all of you." Grimmjow says with a sigh. "Your mom is okay. She's just sleeping right now." Shelia sniffed. "But she got hurt! What if she can't walk anymore!" "Don't say that. She is going to be fine." Grimmjow says rubbing his head. Jess walked in. "Sorry Grim, I didn't expect them all to run in here. "It's fine." Grimmjow says. "Stop!" They heard Kendric yell. They looked down to see Cyrus was biting into his index finger hard. Kendric was trying to pull his hand away. Grimmjow went to Cyrus and kneels. "That bad habit of yours. You don't need to be nervous." He grabbed his hand and pulled it out of his mouth. His bit left a mark on his finger. Kendric sighs.
Cyrus tears up and started crying loudly. "MAMA!" Nova's eyes widen. "Cy!" "Down daddy! Put me down!" She wiggles from Ulquiorra who puts her down. She ran to Cy and hugged him tearing as well. "Don't cry!" She says crying as well. Jess put a hand on her cheek. "Oh dear, know they are both crying…" Grayson frowned. "Who hurt auntie!" Grimmjow glanced at him. "Don't worry about it right now." "But!" "I said don't worry about it." Grimmjow says in a stern voice. Grayson bit his lip.
Hearing Cyrus crying stirred Oichi out of her sleep. Shelia smiled. "Mom!?" Oichi smiles softly. "It's always so cute when you call me mom." Shelia blushed as she tears. The twins grabbed her hand together. "Mama. You okay?" Alisha asked. "I'm fine. Just tired. Who's crying." Kendric separated Nova from Cyrus. "No!" Nova says. Jess grabbed her hand. "It's okay honey." Kendric pulled Cyrus to the bed. "Cy look, Mom is awake." Kendric says pulling a tissue out of his pocket. He dries his tears. Cyrus sniffed. "Mama…" Oichi smiles. "Aw, don't cry. I'm fine honey." Cyrus pulled away from Kendric and climbed on the bed. He snuggled up close to her. Oichi giggled and slips her hand away from Shelia to rub his head.
Grimmjow stood up. "Your mom needs her rest. Your uncles are going to take you home. Shelia, you're in charge. All homework and chores need to be done before anything else." "Okay…" Oichi reached up and tugged at her jacket. "Sorry honey. Please look after your little sibling." Shelia wipes her eyes and nods. "Okay." She grabs Cyrus who whimpers. "I'll be home soon. Don't cause your sister too much trouble." Oichi says.
Once everyone but Grimmjow was gone, Oichi rubs her eyes. "I'm so stupid…" Grimmjow took her head. "Yeah, but that's another cute side of you that I love." Oichi pouted, looking at him. "So, you don't disagree that I'm stupid!?" "You have your moments." Oichi snatched her hand away and folded her arms. This made him chuckle. "I'm just kidding babe. Now, tell me what happened. What did Loly want?"
"She wanted me to sale my store to her." "Are you serious?" "Yeah, and when I told her no she just flipped her lid. She said I ruin her life and that I owe her. Next thing I knew she flipped my desk over." Grimmjow rubbed her chin. "Do you know her? She knew your last name. I thought she would have been one of your…past…partners." She saw a look of disgust cross his face. "I would never go so low with that thing. I had standards." "Mhm…all of them were blonde, blue eyes, and had a huge rack…" Grimmjow leans back. "Standard broads but I have a sexy wife now. I don't need that crap anymore. I made that clear and threaten them all to not bother you. Loly though…she was one of Aizen's main squeezes. I had heard that she was pregnant when she was running away from him.
Oichi frowned and looked down at her wrapped hands sadly. "Then it would make sense. It's just like Luppi all over again. I must have somehow ruined whatever good graces she had with Aizen. It's a never-ending loop." Grimmjow reached out and grabbed her hand. "No, she is just a crazy bitch with anger issues. Aizen never really wanted her, but you know how that goes. Plus, Aizen is dead. There is nothing left to be angry about. It still doesn't explain why she came in to try to get your store. If she claims, it's for Aizen's sake then she is as stupid as she is crazy." He kissed the back of her hand. "Nel is going to handle it." "Nel is?" "Yeah, I wanted to kill her for even putting you and our kids in harm's way but Nel went on and on about I shouldn't because then the kid might be a motherless child." "She's right. Besides, I don't want you to slip back into your old ways. You are doing so good." Grimmjow placed his other hand on her belly and felt movement. "I feel them moving." "I think only two of them move. The one on my spine, I think he is sleeping. The little troublemaker." She giggled. "Let's call him Jayden." Grimmjow kissed her cheek. "I don't have any issues with that."
At an apartment complex, a car pulled up into the parking lot. The door opened and Menoly got out wearing a black suit and carrying a suitcase. She smiled as she closed the door and locked the door. "My first day was great! I can't wait to tell them how it went." She walked into the building and headed to the elevator. She got in and hit the 3rd floor.
When it came to a stop the doors opened and she walked to the very first door on the left. She put her key in the lock and opened it. "I'm home!" She called out. She heard footsteps rushing to her. She saw a young boy of 6 running to her. He had short brown hair and magenta eyes. "Atlas!" She opened her arms expecting a happy hug but instead she saw fear in his eyes and a bruise on his cheek. He ran into her arms shaking. "Atlas? What happened?" She pulled away to see his cheek. "M-Mom came home…s-she looked scared and when I asked her if she was okay…" He tears up. Menoly frowned and hugged him more. "Where is she?" "Your room…" "Okay honey, go to your room and lock your door." He nods and runs off. Gripping her fist, she threw down her suitcase and marched to her room.
She slammed the door open and saw Loly curled up on the bed. Slamming the door close she walked to the bed. "Get up." She said coldly. Loly sits up slowly. "…I messed up…" "Why did you hit Atlas. What the hell is your problem! He is just a child! You have no right to hit him!" Loly looks up at her. "He is my child! I gave birth to him! I should be able to do whatever I want with him!" She then gasps and Menoly grabbed her by the collar of her shirt. "I don't care if you gave birth to him! He is a child! No matter how angry you are you should NEVER hit him!" She pushed her back down on the bed. Loly licks her lips slightly. "I do like it when you're rough with me…" She crawls back on the bed, opening her legs. "Don't you want me? It's been a while since we…you know…" Menoly crossed her arms. "No, we are not glossing over this. Why did you hit Atlas." Loly frowns and sits up. "Right…I messed up today…" "What did you do." "I went to see that woman…" "You didn't…" "I did and when I saw her I just got so angry. I made a huge fuss for nothing and tried to get her to sell her store to us." "What!? We don't have the money for that!?" "So what!? The least she could have done was give it to us! She is the reason we had to run! She ruined our lives!" "Loly…what did you do…" Menoly says in a shaky voice. "Nothing too bad maybe…I just hurt her a little but not on purpose. She might lose those babies in her stomach though." She chuckled. "The desk wasn't heavy but it could cause some damage when I flipped it over on top of her."
Menoly eyes widen. "You…what have you done…" "What I should have done 4 years ago! She took Aizen away from me! She should pay!" Menoly felt anger wash over her and the next then she knew she had Loly pinned to the bed with her hands around her throat. "You idiot! You put us in danger!" She screams. Loly gasp as her grip gets tighter. "We were doing fine! You, me, and Atlas!" She shook Loly ignoring her gasps for breath. "You swore to me that you would forget about that man! Loly coughs out, taking a deep breath. Menoly sat in shock and silence.
Loly chuckled and reached up and touched her face. "I love it when you're rough with me. Don't you understand? We need to do this. For Aizen. That woman destroyed what good life we had." She pulled Menoly on top of her. "My love for Aizen has never disappeared only hidden but I love you as well. With you by my side, we can do it." She kissed Menoly. Menoly didn't kiss back. 'In the end, after all these years, I still can't claim your heart.'
As nighttime came, Grimmjow was still at the hospital with Oichi. "Honey, you need to go home and check on the kids." "I don't want to leave you here." "You have work. You can't skip that." "They will be fine without me for a while. You come first." Oichi smiled. "That's sweet, but I will be fine. You need to make sure the kids are okay." "I called and did video chats. Shelia has everything under control." Oichi sighs. "You are such a stubborn man." There was a knock at the door. "Come in." Grimmjow called out. The door opened and Dante walked in. "Papa!?" Oichi says in surprise.
"Hey pumpkin, I got a call from your mother about what happened." "How did mama know? I haven't called anyone yet." "Jess told River, River told Nia, Nia told Danni and she's been blowing up my private lines all damn day. I'm just now getting back into this wretched city. He walked to the bed and looked at Grimmjow. "Go home." "No." "I wasn't asking you. Go home now. I'll stay with Oichi." "I'm not leaving my wife." "Danni is at your home now." "What!? Why?" "Because your kids are missing their mother and father. Simple chats and video chats aren't going to cut so get your ass home or I'll you dragged out." Grimmjow narrowed his eyes. "Grim, please…the kids…our babies." He sighs. "Fine…but I'll be back in the morning." He gets up and kisses her forehead. He shot a glare at Dante before leaving. "That man of yours…interesting as always."
He walked up to the bed and flipped her blanket over. "Papa?" "Just checking your lower waist. I was told one of the boys was laying on your spine." "He hasn't moved yet." Dante reached down to her side and pressed into her skin. It made her gasp as she felt movement in her belly. Dante saw a tiny handprint appear and disappear on her stomach. "Seems like that woke him up." "What did you do?" "Don't worry about it. You should be fine in the morning." He covered her back up and sat in the chair next to her. "Oichi…I would like for you to stay home until the boys are born." "I don't want to. I'm not even that far to be put on leave yet!" "I am aware but, I'm not taking the chances of something happening again. Hate me all you want but I've already made plans to keep you home. Your mother agrees with me and I'm sure Grimmjow will fill the same. I get you like working a lot but think about your health and your sons." Oichi crossed her arms. "If you don't stay home on bed rest, then I will have no choice but to keep you here in the hospital." "What? You can't!" "I can and I will. Your choice pumpkin." Oichi sighs. "Fine…I'll stay home…" "Good girl. Now get some rest."
At the apartment complex, Menoly was sitting in the living room. Loly was fast asleep. She got up and went to Atlas's room. He was sleeping as well with a patch on his cheek. His room was covered in bookcases that were full of books. He loved to read. Menoly sat on the side of the bed and rubbed his hair. 'Such a smart little boy.' She frowned. 'I can't let him grow up like this anymore…' She leans down and kisses his forehead before she left. Going back to the living room she grabbed her phone and digs in her bag to find her wallet. She pulled out a black card that had a number on it. She dialed it and went into the kitchen. It rings twice before someone picked up. "Hello? It's me, Menoly…I want to take you up on the offer…yes, we can be ready in 30 minutes…it's not like we brought much. Okay, see you then." She hangs up and looks back at her room door. 'I'm sorry Loly, this is for Atlas…'
At Oichi's. Grimmjow was just getting home. As soon as he walked through the door, he was punched hard in the stomach. He fell to his knees and wheezed out. He slowly glanced up to see his mother-in-law, Danni. She had short black hair now, and her red eyes were glaring deadly at him. She was wearing a black t-shirt that hung low, threatening to make her boobs pop out, and dark blue shorts with no shoes. "What the hell is your problem!" She yelled. "I get that you are worried about Oichi and the boys, but don't you dare forget you still have children here! Young children! Shelia didn't even want to bother calling you when things got out of hand, so she called me! The twins wouldn't stop crying and Cy kept biting his fingers until they started bleeding! You piece of shit!" Grimmjow held back sighing. It would only get him in more trouble. "Sorry…I wasn't thinking…" "Yeah, I know! Now get your ass up and check on your kids!" She demanded. Grimmjow got up, holding his stomach. Walking to the living room he saw Shunsui on the couch holding his son Walter. He was light brown with short curly black hair and freckles on his face. Shunsui waved with a chuckle as Grimmjow went upstairs.
He went to Cyrus' room first. Cyrus's room was colored in dark blue with black puppy paw prints. He had a single bed fluffy blanket. Around his room was a mixture of mainly different areas for him to nap at. The corner had large soft pillows that he could lay on, there was a small couch with more pillows and a fort in the middle of his room that he happened to be in. He had a small light on. Grimmjow could hear him sniffing. He got down on his stomach and crawled into the fort starling Cyrus. "Daddy…" He says in tears. Grimmjow looked at his hand to see it was a bandage. "Cy…you have to stop biting yourself." "I'm sorry…it…makes me feel better." "I know but you are hurting yourself. If your mother saw this she would get mad and then cry. Do you want that?" "No…" Grimmjow crawled in fully. "Your mom is okay. She got hurt today but she will be back home soon." "Why did she get hurt?" "A bad lady didn't like her." "But, mama is nice. She's really nice." "Yeah, and sometimes that nice part can be bad." "Why?" "Because bad people like to take advantage of nice people. That is why you need to be strong and learn how to spot those bad people. Your mom and Alisha are very nice but sometimes they can't see the bad people. You, me, Naomi, and Kenny have to make sure they are safe and okay." "Me?" "Yup. You are strong like me." He ruffles his head. "Your job is to protect your mom and your sisters just like Kendric and of course, once the boys are born you will become a big brother." Cyrus's eyes widen and he looked down with a flush face. "A big brother's job is to protect. That's why Gray and Kenny says." "And they are right." Grimmjow says with a smile. "Now be a big boy for me and no more biting your fingers." Cyrus nods. "C-Can you sleep with me?" "Okay, Let me go check on your sisters and I'll be back." Cyrus smiles and nods. "Okay, daddy!" Grimmjow chuckled and left the fort. He sighs out happily. 'How could I be so silly to leave my kids in this state. I'll have to, properly apologize to Oichi.'
Early that next morning, Loly was stirring in bed. "Mhm…last night quite amazing. I do like it when you get rough." She turns over and reaches her hand out to feel nothing. Her eyes opened to see she was alone in bed. "Where is she…I guess making breakfast." She gets up and wraps herself in a robe and heads out of the room.
The apartment was silent. Walking into the kitchen she saw nothing being cooked or taken out. Loly frowned and walked to Atlas's room. "I guess she went to work early. I need to apologize to Atlas for hitting him. Children are so sensitive. It wasn't even that hard." She opened the door. "Time to get up honey." She froze to see Atlas wasn't there. "Atlas? Honey!" She walked out of the room and rushed to her room. Grabbing her phone she dialed Menoly's number. 'Sorry, but the number you have dialed has…' Loly hung up. "No…that can't be right. I must be hearing things." She dialed again and got the same message. She hung up and called again and again and again. She stopped after the 10th time.
Dropping the phone she sinks to her knees with an empty look in her eyes. 'She left me? After all this time. Claiming she would leave me…she finally went and done it?' Loly bit her lip. 'She even took Atlas with her. How could she leave me all alone? After all who is going to help me get my revenge. I must avenge him. No matter the cost.' Tears leaked out of her eyes. 'Will you come back when I succeed?'
Towards the school in another new area full of townhouses, Menoly was sitting in a brand new spot. She was on the couch wearing a loose white shirt and black pants. Her hair was a mess and she looked tired. She looked down to see Atlas sleeping peacefully, snuggled up beside her. She smiled and rubbed his head.
She heard keys jingling at the front door. It opened and Ginjo walks in with bags of groceries. He looked shocked to see Menoly still up. He closed the door behind him. "I told you to get some rest. You look terrible." Menoly looks back down at Atlas. "Thank you, for coming to get us. I didn't know where else to go." Ginjo put the bags in the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. He walks back out and tossed it over to her.
"It's no problem. I told you that if you ever need me, I'll be here to help you guys. I just didn't expect the help to be from you. At one point you were against me." "Yes, but it was for Atlas's sake but now…it seems like I have no choice anymore." Ginjo sits on the couch in front of her. "That is true. From what you told me, it's only a matter of time before Loly is found. If Grimmjow catches her, he would kill her for sure. I swear, even though he has this cookie-cutter clean job, the bastard still does his dirty work when he needs to. I don't think he would care if she had a child with her." Menoly nods. "That is what I feared. She lost her mind. Aizen is dead and yet she still wants to hurt that woman. She even hit Atlas yesterday." Ginjo pauses. "Hold up, you never said anything about her striking him. Is that what that patch is for?" Menoly nods. "Atlas was still awake when we were talking. I didn't want to bring it back up."
"Well, that's no good…he isn't going to be pleased when he hears that." "Pardon?" "Oh. Don't mind me. I thought Loly would have known better than to lay a hand on the boy. I guess she really has lost her marbles." "What should we do?" Menoly asks.
Ginjo leans back and crosses his legs. "Easy, you're going to be my woman for a while." "What?" "You need to stay low until Loly has been taken care of. She messed with the wrong woman so there is no saving her. You need to distance yourself away from her. Being my woman can do that. All I have to say is that you were with me the entire time. I can get some fake proof and that will be that. As for Atlas. We need a name change. Loly might try to use him against us. A quick hair change will work too. His eye color should be fine since magenta is getting quite common out here these days. Once Loly is gone, you can go back to a somewhat normal life."
Menoly bit her lower lip. 'Can I really forsake Loly…' She grew hesitant until Atlas woke up. He yawns and sits up rubbing his eyes. "Mom?" Menoly smiles. "Good morning. How are you feeling?" "Okay? I'm hungry." "Hey, kiddo." Atlas jumps and sees Ginjo waving. He smiled brightly. "Uncle!" He gets off the couch and runs to him.
Ginjo laughs as he picked him up and sat him on his leg. "You look chipper this morning. Happy to see me?" "Yes! I've missed you." "Haha! Really? That makes me happy." He grabs his chin and turns it to the side. "What happened to your cheek little man?" Atlas's eyes widen and he started to, shake. "Mom got mad and she hit me. She said it's because of me that she can't be happy." He tears up. Ginjo frowned. "Is that right? Was it this mom that hit you?" He points to Menoly who gasps. Atlas moved away from him and ran to Menoly. He held his hands up in front of her protectively. "No! Not this mama! D-Don't hurt her. I love mama Mel the most!" Menoly felt her heartthrob
"How cute. So I guess you mean your birth mother huh. That's pretty mean. Do you like her? It's okay, to tell the truth." Atlas looked back at Menoly. "It's okay honey." Atlas drops his arms and his eyes turned cold. 'hmm interesting. Looks like his father even with those beautiful eyes.'
"I don't like that woman…she doesn't love me. She always tries to hurt me, and she is mean to mama Nel and says hurtful things. I wish…" He grinds his teeth. "I wish she wasn't my birth mother at all!" Ginjo smiled. "I see. It's a shame that she doesn't know what a special boy you are. I was talking to Menoly here. I can protect you both from her. Unfortunately, her actions have placed you both in danger." Atlas balls his fist up. "I'm not surprised…if it protects Mama Mel then I'll do whatever it takes!" "Atlas!" He turns to her. "I'll protect you I swear it! That woman does nothing but makes you cry! I'll make sure you never cry again!" Menoly tears slightly. 'This little boy…I love him dearly.'
Ginjo chuckles. "Such a fiery attitude." He looked at his watch. "Okay, Menoly. You have a job to get to. I suggest you clean yourself up and head there now. Don't want to look suspicious after what happened yesterday. While you are gone, I'll keep Atlas with me. I have some hair dye we can use on him and I'll come up with a new name for him." "A new name?" He asked. "Yeah, we can't have that old name your mother gave you. She might use it against us." "Okay. I never liked my name anyways…"
Menoly gets up. "I should get going. I need to shower and freshen up." She smiles at Atlas and hugs him. "I'm so sorry for making you go through this. I never wanted things to be this way but I think both of us will be happier this way." Atlas hugged her back. As Menoly left to get ready, Ginjo motions Atlas to come sit next to him.
"I know a better way to protect your mom." "You do?" "Yes, but it has to stay a secret between you and me. If your mom finds out then she could get hurt." "I don't want that." "I know, that's why this is something only you can do because you are special." He pokes his noses. "After your mom leaves there is someone I want you to meet okay?" Atlas nods.
About an hour later, Menoly had left the house to go to work. Ginjo had Atlas take a bath and he dyed his hair to match Menoly. Looking in the mirror Atlas's eyes lit up to see this. "I'm the same as mama now!" "Yup and we need to keep your hair like this for a while." Atlas nods. "Yes!"
Once he was out of the tub, he dressed in a formal white button shirt and black jeans with shoes. His patch was replaced on his cheek. "Is this person we are meeting rich?" "Sort of but you still need to be presentable. Now go sit in the living room and wait." Atlas did what he was told. Ginjo left and was gone for a few moments.
He came back but there was another man with him. This man had short brown hair and was wearing glasses. He had brown eyes and wore a nice smile. He was wearing similar clothes to Atlas. He walked past Ginjo and sat on the couch in front of him. His eyes glanced at Atlas's cheek then to his eyes.
"Hello, you must be Atlas. I have been waiting to meet you for such a long time." "Meet me? Why? You know me, Mister?" He chuckled. "I do. Your mother hid you away from me but ill make sure that she pays the price for, that." "My mom…hid me from you?" "My name is Aizen and I am your father."
Atlas eyes widen. "My…what!? No…mom said I don't have a dad. I have two moms, not a dad." "Your mother lied to you. She ran away from me when she was carrying you and ran off with her lover. I guess your other mother." Atlas grips his pants leg. "D-Does…mama Mel know. Did she know I had a dad?"
Aizen kept his smile. "She knew but your birth mother threaten to kill you if she said anything. Just imagine the pain she felt hiding such a big secret from you, just to protect you from Loly." Atlas felt anger boil up inside him. Aizen watched him tremble. "Do you feel betrayed by them both?" "No…only that woman…at least mama Mel tried to protect me. She's done so much for me and loved me." "Then you want to protect her?" "Yes, I do. I want her to live a life where she doesn't have to cry anymore." A glint of coldness appeared through Aizen's eyes but only for a second. "Then I will help you. As your father, I only want what is best for you."
"What can you do for me. It's taken you 6 years to find me." Atlas says in almost a mumble. Aizen chuckles. "There are many things I wish to teach and show you. Do not underestimate how long I have been waiting for this. I will show you the ways of this world and how to make you powerful enough that even your mother won't be able to get near you, provided that she remains alive. I bet she has always talked down to you, hasn't she? Saying how you will never be anything, how you are not special. What about the many times that she has hit you?" Atlas's head shot up. "What!?" Aizen's demeanor never changed. "I know a lot about you Atlas. I know that your second mother doesn't know anything about the bruises Loly gave you. She was smart enough to leave bruises that fade instead of scars." "Don't…Don't tell her. She can never know!" Atlas yelled getting up. "Never!" "Then the that stays a secret between us. Just like us meeting and you learning about me. From now on, you will be under my watch. Understand?" Atlas nods. "Yes…" "Very good. I will come every time your mother is gone to work. Sometimes you might be brought to me. I will make you into a strong being that may even surpass the Gods one day. With that much power, you will be able to give that peaceful like to your mother." He stood up. "Ah, before I leave, let's get rid of that name. From now on you will be known as Micah. Don't forget that name. I will see you soon my son." Aizen left the room with Ginjo behind him.
"Micah…my new name. My name from my actual dad." Micah looks down at his hands and squeezes them. 'He gives me bad vibes. He hides it well. But no matter what. I'll do anything I can to make sure mom is happy. No matter what hellish pain I'll have to go through." A smile came to his face. "Powers to surpass the Gods eh…then how strong will I need to surpass this devil."
The next four months went by with a breeze. There was no word on Loly, but it didn't stop Nel from looking into her as much as possible without causing too many issues. It was a new year in January. Other than the incident that happened at the store everything else was pretty much peaceful. On the 25th, a Wednesday, Oichi was sitting back in the hospital. She had been experiencing labor pains since this morning. Grimmjow was sitting next to her with an antsy look on his face. Oichi giggled at him. "For someone who isn't having these babies you look more nervous than me." "Oh, Shut up. I can't help it." "I'm excited! We finally get to hold our boys! Hee-hee." Grimmjow rubbed his head. "Aw, you are so cute when you get like this." "Cute huh. You must be enjoying this." "Oh, I am. Your sensitive side is super sexy you know." He smirks. "So, I'm cute and sexy? Flatter me more." Oichi giggled and placed her hands on her flustered cheeks. "I would love to have another baby girl!" "Ask and you shall receive. We can get to work on that when you recover." Grimmjow says biting her ear, flushing her up more. Uryu sighs in frustration. "Can you two please settle down?" Grimmjow did a cute pout and sat back down. "How are you feeling Oichi?" "I feel the contractions, they get a little painful." "Then you're just about ready. Did you want to inform the school for the kids?" "No, they can stop by after. I know they were excited this morning, but I don't want them missing class for this." Uryu nods well your mother and aunt are here anyways." Oichi smiled. "Okay. I figured that much. I'm the first in the family to have triplets. Grandma must want a lot of pictures." "Doesn't she have enough?" Grimmjow asked crossing his arms. "Nope! She never has enough pictures of her family."
At the school, it was art time for the twin's class. Alisha and Naomi were sitting at the table when a young girl ran over. "Naomi! Come here! Ashley got brand new color pencils!" "Cool!" Naomi says getting up. "I'll be back Alisha! Don't move." Naomi ran off with the young girl. Alisha frowned but went back to coloring. She was getting used to Naomi running off with a random classmate. She colored the sun that she was drawing.
"Can I sit here?" Alisha looked up to see her new classmate. He had just transferred in a month ago. She rubbed her arm slightly. "Sure…" She says. He sat down and took out some paper. He started drawing. "Your picture is pretty." He says. "Thank you…" "Who are you drawing?" "My mama and my new brothers." "New brothers?" She nods. "She's having my baby brothers today. Three of them." "Mm…what's your name?" Alisha looked at him. He had pretty magenta eyes and short blonde hair. "…A-Alisha…" He smiles. "My name is Micah. I hope we can be friends." "Maybe…" Alisha says going back to her picture. She was growing nervous. Unlike her sister, she didn't like dealing with new people. "Are you okay?" Micah asked reaching his hand out to her. "Hey! Don't touch my sister!" Naomi suddenly says smacking his hand away. She glared at him. "Don't touch her!" Micah frowned. "Sorry…" Naomi grabbed Alisha's hand. "Let's go to another table." Alisha nods and grabbed her stuff. Naomi leads her to another table. Micah rubs his hand. 'So that's the twins…I just need to pick one of them.' His eyes went to Alisha. Naomi was bushing her off but tackling her into a hug. He watched Alisha smile, hugging her back. 'She looks easy enough…I just need to get past the sister.' He sighs. 'I have to do this for mama.' He started to draw circles on his page when he noticed Alisha coming back to the table.
"Um…S-Sorry for my sister. She means well." "It's okay. She must be protective of you." Alisha nods. She then rubs her fingers together. "At snack time…if you don't have where to sit you can sit with us. Since your new and all…" She didn't give Micah much time to respond before she ran over to her desk. Naomi shot him a glare but turned her attention back to her sister. 'She will be perfect. I'm sure father will approve of it.'
Back at the hospital, Jess ran into the waiting room. "Did I miss it!?" She says in a panic. Danni smiled holding Walter in her arms. "Nope. We are still waiting for news." Jess smiled and giggled. "I'm so excited! The boys are coming finally!" Danni chuckled. "Speaking of boys, when do you plan to finally give Ulquiorra a son? I'm sure a house full of girls is pretty dramatic." "Not at all. The girls may take my looks, but they act more like their father." Jess sits down with a huff. "Aerith gave me a cold look today when she couldn't go with Ulquiorra. I swear they all love him more than me and I'm the one who carried them!" Danni and Nia laughed. "That means when you have a boy then you get all of his love." Orihime and Tatsuki walked in. "Are the boys here yet!?" Orihime said with a hopeful look. "Nope, just waiting." Jess says. Orihime high fived herself. "Yes! It was worth it to stop at taco bell!" Tatsuki shook her head. She started to hear whispering. Looking out in the hall she saw a few nurses looking her way as the gossip.
"If I was her, I wouldn't have shown my face here." "She is better than me. I couldn't forgive my husband if he left me for another woman, especially in his own workspace" "That's what happens when you can't even give your man the attention he needs. I just wish it was me." "Did you see how happy he looked when Nemu gave birth to their child? I heard he didn't even smile when his son was born with her." "I wonder how long he cheated on her before she caught on."
Tatsuki frowned until Danni poked her head out. "HEY! Shut the hell up! If you got time to talk go do it elsewhere!" She snapped at them. The nurses squeaked and ran away. Danni rolled her eyes. "I swear all they do is talk. It's a damn hospital for fucks sake." "Tatsuki?" Orihime says giving her a concerning look. "I'm fine. It's been over with me and Uryu for long enough. They can say whatever they like about me, but I really don't care." "Hell yeah!" Danni says nudging Tatsuki. "Don't let those nobodies steal your joy!" Tatsuki smiled. "Thank you."
A few hours passed and it was getting close to 1 pm. Nel, who was wearing a dark gray sweater and a blue skirt, with glasses rushed in. She was panting as she held her knees, trying to catch her breath. Orihime smiles. "Wow Nel, we could hear your high heels clanking all the way here." Nel's neat bun was a bit messy from running. "S-Shut up…I got here as fast as I could but, I finally those two knuckleheads to watch the store for me. I absolutely refuse to miss this." She plops down beside Jess, just as a nurse wheeled in a large bassinet. "Hi there, are you all the waiting family of Ms. Jaegerjaquez?" They hopped up. "My grandson's!" Danni says with a happy face. They crowed the bassinet to see three babies sleeping inside, cuddled up together. They all had black hair with light blue streaks. All except the middle one was awake. On the left, the first triplet had light purple eyes and on the right, the last triplet had blue eyes.
"Purple?" Jess says? "It must be from Dante's side." Danni says. "So, we got one purple, one blue, so the one in middle…I wonder who he is going to take after. "But he is sleeping." Orihime says. Danni reach down and poked the triplet in the middle. They watched him stir and start to get fussy a little. "Sis…I don't think…" "It's fine, babies cry all the time anyway." She poked his tummy once more and he opened his eyes making the women smile brightly. "Aw!" They all said. The middle triplet had two different eye colors. His left eye was light purple, and his right eye was light red. He was about to tear up and fuss until his eyes widen to see them smiling at him.
"So cute! I want to hold one!" Danni said as she handed Walter to Nia. She went for the triplet in the middle. "Hi, little baby! I'm your grandma!" Jess picked up the one on the left and Orihime picked up the one on the right. "They got Oichi's features. So adorable." Nel says taking pictures. Danni looked at the nurse. "How is my daughter?" "Resting, it was quite an experience. Her husband on the other hand looked like he was going to faint at any moment, especially when she cursed him for giving her triplets. My, she knows a lot of colorful languages." Danni grins. "That's my girl!" Once they finished taking pictures, the triplets were placed back into the bassinet and the nurse took them to the nursey.
Later that night, Oichi was still fast asleep from giving birth. The toll was extremely high for her. Grimmjow had left for the moment to check on the kids at home. The triplets were sleeping soundly beside her bed. There was a soft knock at the door and then it opened. Shuren walked in wearing a doctor's coat. He closed the door behind him and walked over to the bed. "Mhm…out like a light." He walked over to the bassinet and chuckled at the boys. "Triplets this time around eh. I wish I could have a fertile wife like you…maybe that's why Kokuto left me for that cousin of yours. She can give him some children." He rubbed his stomach and then shook his head. He digs in his pocket and pulls out a black box with a very tiny syringe. "I swear that man…he asks me to do the most daunting task. He is all the way in Scotland, and he still needs me to get my hand dirty." He smirked. "Well, at least the pay is good." He moved the blanket off the boys and picked the middle one. He took the baby sock off and spreads his tiny toes. He pokes the spot in between his big toe and the rest of his toes.
After getting the blood, he puts the sock back on and covers them back up. "I hope he makes a breakthrough; I doubt I can do this so easily again." He opened the door and closed it behind him. "Your daughter's room is this way, sir." Shuren frowned as he watched a nurse and Dante walk around the corner. Dante's eyes narrowed at him. Shuren quickly turned around and walked off. 'He is bad news. I need to get out of here now.'
The nurse opened the door to Oichi's room. Dante walked in and checked on Oichi, and the nurse takes her leave. Dante rubbed Oichi's cheek. His eyes scanned her body looking for any marks. He flipped off the blanket and gave her body a check. 'Nothing…that means…' He walked to the bassinet and looked at the boys. 'Triplets huh.' He pulled the blanket down and immediately noticed that the middle twin's sock was placed wrong. He hums as he pulled his sock off. Picking him up and looked at his tiny toes and saw a puncture mark. It was very tiny. 'Looks like that weasel is still trying to make his plan work.' "Papa…" Oichi mumbles. Dante turned around to see Oichi waking up. "Hey. How are you feeling?" He asked slipping the sock back on. "Tired…you see the boys?" "Yes, I'm holding the middle one." "Hee-hee. The troublemaker. His name is Jayden." "The one who slept on your spine huh. A fine name." He put Jayden down. "From left to right it's Ayden, Jayden, and Kaden." Dante went to sit beside her. "Congratulations dear but, now that you have so many children, do you and that husband plan to ever slow down?" Oichi chuckled. "We talked about after that, but I think we can do one more." Dante shook his head and rubbed her head. "You are quite the trooper." He then sighs. "Listen, I'll be going away for a while." "Why?" "I need to handle some international business and take care of some loose ends." "How long will you be gone this time?" "Until I am sure that all of this nonsense is finished. I want you and the kids to live peacefully, and I will do what I must to keep that for you." "I don't understand…" Dante kissed her forehead. "You don't need to. What you need is rest." He watched her eyes close, and she dozed off. Dante leans back and folds his arms. 'It seems they are on the move…I wonder how all this is going to play out.'
At the end of January, Oichi and the triplets were out of the hospital and were back home. It was a hot day, and Grimmjow decided that the family needed a cookout to welcome the new additions to the family.
In the backyard, he was cooking burgers, hot dogs, and a steak for himself. The kids were in their bathing suits playing in the pool. Grayson and Naomi were splashing each other while Kendric pushed Alisha in a floaty. He was teaching her how to swim. Shelia and Sophie were sitting on the side with their feet in the water. Oichi was laying under the shade with the triplets laying coolly with her in a cooling bassinet, Dante gave her. Her belly was still round so she was wearing a simple rose pattern dress with spaghetti straps. The back door slid open and Nel walked out in a dark gray shirt and blue shorts. "Oichi! Where are my darling Godsons!" She ran over to her. Oichi giggled sitting up. "Relaxing with me." Nel looked down at the boys to see them all were sleeping. "Wow…they are so cute! I want to wake them up!" "If you wake them up, I'll drown you!" Grimmjow yelled. Nel pouted. "How are they not awake with that loudmouth husband of yours." "Like Cy, they are hard sleepers but once they are up, they are up." "Speaking of Cy. Where is he?" Nel asked. Oichi pointed to the other side of the yard. Cyrus was using a bunch of outside pillows and placed them under the shade. He was sleeping. "That boy…" Nel says putting her hand on her hips. "Yup, I made the mistake telling him he could do anything so long as it is outside, and this is what he came up with…that son of mine." The back door opened and Jess with Ulquiorra and their girls walked out. Nova ran out in a unicorn one-piece bathing suit. "Cy!" She called out. She looked around at the pool and frowns. "Where is Cy?" "Nova. Don't be rude." Jess says putting a hand on her hip. "Go tell your auntie hi." "Sorry, mom…" Nova ran over to Oichi. "Auntie hi. Where is Cy?" "Sleeping over there, honey." Nova smiled. "Thank you!" She giggled and skipped over to Cyrus's sleeping spot. Aerith walked over with a soft smile. "Hi, auntie. Hi Ms. Nel." "Hi, sweetie. Aw, look at you!" Aerith was wearing a mermaid one piece with her hair braid down and wrapped into a bun. Her freckles were starting to show more on her face. "So cute! Adorable!" Oichi says with hearts in her eyes. Aerith giggled with a red face. "Come on sis, you are spoiling her with words." Jess says pushing the stroller with the twins in it. "How can I not!? You can't tell me your own daughter isn't the cutest thing in the world right now." Aerith smiled until Ulquiorra walked over. "Go play." He says. "Okay, daddy." Aerith ran off to where Sophie and Shelia were.
Jess sat down and looked in the bassinet and smiled at the boys. "I love how they snuggle on each other as they sleep." "Yeah, the twins did it. That just means it will be a little hard separating them. I can already hear the screaming." Nel and Jess chuckled at her. As time passed, more of their friends started to show up which upset Grimmjow. He had done this cookout on the spot with no planning. He didn't tell anyone about it, and he made Oichi promise not to say anything. "It's like these bastards smell fun and just come right on over." He growls lowly. Ichigo slaps him on the back. "Just suck it up Grimmjow. If you need us to get more food just let us know that's it. Don't be a baby about it." He opens a beer. Grimmjow shot him a death glare, but Ichigo just shrugged.
At the pool, the kids were enjoying themselves. With more people now, they were playing Marco polo. Nova had managed to wake Cyrus from his nap and had him play. Ty was it and the kids were screaming polo to get him all turned around. Shelia was still sitting on the side of the pool giggling as she watched him. Florina and Hisagi couldn't make it, so they dropped Darrius and Mikey's twins, Morgan and Lizzy, who were staying with them for the night. Mizuho was also there with Emma. Ikkaku was going to come but it seems that he got called to an emergency at work. Kokuto, Jasmine and Ari showed up with news of their own. Kokuto had a pack of beer with him. As Ari ran over to play with Emma, Jasmine walked over to Oichi.
"Jas! Hello. My, aren't you glowing?" Jasmine smiled more and held out an ultrasound. "We found out today." Oichi took and sat up. "Yay! Congratulations!" She got up, stumbling a bit. "Hey! I told you to sit down!" Grimmjow yelled handing the tongs to Ichigo. He marched over there. Oichi ignored him as she hugged Jasmine. "I'm so happy for you!" Grimmjow frowned until he saw the beer in Kokuto's hand. "Good news I'm guessing?" "Yup." He took one out and handed him one. "I'm going to be a father." Grimmjow smirked. "Ho? You finally hooked one." They clink their beer bottles together. "Congrats and good luck. You're going to need it." Kokuto chuckled as he sips on his beer.
Ari, Bella, and Emma were standing together as Ari told them the news. "I'm gonna be a big sister!" Bella smiled. "Yay Ari! That's amazing!" Emma pouted. "Everyone is getting sisters and brothers. I wish I could have some…" Bella held her pinky out. "Did you already forget silly? We are sisters and Ari to right!" Ari smiles and nods and holds her pinky out. "Sisters for life!" Bella says. Emma smiles back as they lock pinkies.
Noah, Kazui, and Eli were done with Marco Polo and were using floats to relax at the end of the pool away from the game. "Noah, I heard you got a new sibling." Noah sighs. "Who cares." "It's your dad's, right? You mad?" "Grandfather said it is pointless to be mad. He said if I want to get back at my father then I should grow up and be better than him." Eli hums out. "You sound mad…" "Then maybe you both should get your ears cleaned out. Grandfather is right. What is being mad going to get me? He isn't going to come back to mom and it's not going to make me feel better." Noah sighs. "I don't need him. I got mama and aunt Orihime." Kazui nods. "Yup! It's thanks to you that mom stopped snuggling me and snuggles you now." "You don't like snuggles?" Eli asked. "I'm almost 8 years old. I can be seen being snuggled by my mom." "You can too…it's not that bad and it makes you feel all warm and fluffy on the inside." "Bah whatever, I guess."
Toshiro, Momo, Rangiku, Gin, and Kira were sitting at a table that was set up. Lucas, Momo's and Toshiro's son, and Remi were playing with Darrius and the twins. Momo giggled as she watched them play. "I can't believe how big they had gotten. I'm ready for another one!" Toshiro's cheeks turned pink. It wasn't like they weren't trying already. Rangiku chuckled as she sips on her drink. "I think I am good with just one. Learning about Remi was very taxing." Momo pouted. "Yeah, since you hid it from all of us." "I told you I didn't want to ruin Oichi's day with my news." "She would have been so happy! Instead, we had to find out after you passed a few hours after the reception. "It's water under the bridge now. Right." Gin says with a chuckle. "Yes, he is right. The good thing is that Remi was born healthy. I was sure she would get Rangiku's personality, but she shocked me." Toshiro nods. "Yeah…she is more like her father thankfully. I don't think he needs two lazy women in his house." "Heyyy! I'm right here!" Rangiku says. Momo giggled. "Sooo now the question is…what are you going to do Kira?" "Meaning?" He asked sipping on a bottle of water. "When are you going to get a girlfriend?" Kira choked on his water. "W-What?" "I mean look around. Don't this make you feel a little bit of parenthood?" Momo asked. "No, it doesn't besides, I'm not all that good in the dating scene." "It's probably because you aren't trying hard enough. Maybe girls aren't your thing." Rangiku says smirking. "I know a few single friends and I even have a ticket for a single meet you like. If you don't want a partner at least you can find someone to hang out with when we are busy with the kids." "Why do you have a ticket for a single meet…Rangiku?" Gin asked tilting his head with a slithering smile on his face. Rangiku laughed nervously. "I-It was just a gift! A gift from a friend!" "Oh? Which friend?" "One of MY friends but, I wasn't going to use it! I was waiting to give it to someone else l-like Kira of course!" "Ah, so are you saying you were saving it to help Kira out. How kind of you." Gin says rubbing his chin, keeping his smile. "Mhm…that's right." Rangiku says. Gin kept her eyes on her making her unsettle. 'How scary…." Both Momo and Toshiro said to themselves.
The back door opened and Ikkaku shockingly walked out. "Daddy!" Emma yelled. She ran to him giggling. "I thought you had to work!" "I…was at the airport." Mizuho crosses her arms. "The airport?" Yumichika appeared with a bright smile. "Hello! Everyone! I'm back!" "Back?" Tatsuki asked. "Did you go somewhere?" Oichi snaps her fingers. "Oh yeah, we went to that beautician school overseas. I thought you weren't coming back for another year or so." Yumichika smiled brightly. "Aw, Oichi I knew you wouldn't forget like a certain someone here." He smacks Ikkaku on the back of his shoulder, but it looks like Ikkaku was in shock. "Daddy what's wrong?" Emma asked. Yumichika chuckled and walked back by the door. "He must be basking in the glory of perfection." Grimmjow, Ichigo, and Chad had a bad feeling about this.
"Come on out! Come meet everyone!" He waved. "Everyone! Everyone! I want you all to stop what you're doing and look at this masterpiece that I had a hand in making!" They all watched as a young boy walked out. He had short black hair with purple coloring underneath. Beautiful purple eyes and flawless skin. He had a Loly pop in his mouth as he looked around. He was wearing a bright yellow shirt, with black skinny jeans and gray gloves. "Who is the kid?" Ichigo asked. Yumichika giggled to himself swaying back and forth. "Don't be silly Ichigo! Can't you tell! This adorable, slice of perfection is my son Adonis!" Eyes grew wide at this as the thought process of everyone halted at the same time.
Momo was the first to react. "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" She yelled. It was enough to snap everyone back. "Y-Y-Y-You have a child now!?" Momo says covering her cheeks. "Oh, my, and he is quite handsome…" Jess says. "More feminine if you ask me." Ulquiorra says. He felt Jess nudge him. "Oh wow…he is so adorable!" Oichi says. "It's nice to meet you, Adonis." "You fat." He says. Oichi tensed up at that and of course, Grimmjow heard it. "What the hell did you say you brat!" Ichigo and Chad held him back. "Adonis don't be rude. Oichi just finished having three babies at the same time. Her belly hasn't shrunken back down yet." "Hmpf…I see." He brushed his hair to the side. For the first time in her life, Oichi felt like this was a child she was not going to like.
"Why don't you go play with the other kids." Yumichika said. "Emma dear, can you introduce him to…" "No!" She yelled. "How dare you be mean to auntie Oichi! You didn't apologize!" "Who's being mean to Auntie!?" Grayson yelled out from the pool. Nel rubbed her face. "No one dear! Keep playing in the pool!" "Like father, like son…" Orihime says with a chuckle. "Emma take him with the others." Ikkaku says. Emma huffed out. "Fine." She turned off. Adonis followed her. The adults crowded around Yumichika to ask him questions. "All I see is you in that boy. Who is the mother?" Rangiku asked. Yumichika chuckled. "That would be Isane." "Are you serious!?" Momo says. "Yup, she wanted to keep it a secret for as long as possible. Once she had Adonis, he came to stay with me for four years. She would take vacation days to come see us. He is only three but he is so smart and talented already." Ichigo was digging in the cooler for another beer. "I don't know if it's a good idea to stay sober right now." "Agreed…." Kokuto and Chad said at the same time.
Near the pool, Emma introduces Adonis to everyone and then joined Bella and Ari. Grayson frowned. "Hey, kid! You better not be mean to my aunt!" Adonis turned to look at Oichi and then turn back to Grayson. "She ugly though…" Naomi and Grayson's eyes widen. "What did you say!?" They yelled. "My mom is NOT ugly! You take that back!" Naomi yelled swinging to him. Alisha grabbed her arm, from the floaty. "No fighting! Mama said so!" Naomi puffed out her cheeks. "He is just a baby." Kazui says floating over. "Just let it be. He doesn't know what he is talking about." "All your mama's ugly." They looked at him and saw that his bright purple eyes had turned a bit dark giving off a weird and ugly vibe. It made the kids back up a bit. "W-Why does he look like that…" Ari says grabbing Emma's arm. Nova and Aerith frowned and grabbed Cyrus's arms. Cyrus was wide awake looking at him. That was until he saw someone else behind Adonis.
Adonis giggled, still looking at the kids. He failed to see someone behind them until he felt a push from behind him. He fell into the pool water. Luckily, they were in the narrow end. He pops back up standing on his tippy toes. "Who…why…" He looked up to see Kendric glaring down at him. He shivered. "Never. Ever. Disrespect my mom." He gets down on his knees and jumps into the pool. He walked up to a shaking Adonis. His icy stare pierces through the brilliant three-year-old. "Never. Or else." He says in a deadly whisper. Adonis, couldn't hold it in and started to cry loudly. Grayson and the others covered their ears. "Ow, so loud…"
"Hey! What's going on over there!" Oichi called out. Kendric picked up Adonis who started sobbing even louder. "Nooo! NO!" He screamed. Kendric ignored him and pulled him out of the water to a worried Yumichika. "Sorry, he fell into the water, I guess he got scared." Kendric says. His face was his normal blank stare. Yumichika took Adonis. "Aw, thank you so much, Kenny. Adonis, don't you want to thank him?" "NO!" "Come now, you don't need to be so rude." He sighed. "I guess we will go home for now." He turned around. "It looks like we are going home earlier than I want." Momo and Kira rushed up to him, blocking most of the adult's view. They still had questions for Yumichika. Adonis started to calm down while Yumichika rubbed his back, that was until he looked down to see Kendric was back to glaring at him. He screamed and cried more clinging to Yumichika. "Whoa, there! Okay, guys. I'm going to head home. We can talk later, promise.
Grayson got out of the pool and put an arm over his shoulder. He snickered. "Looks like you scared him good." He held out a fist. Kendric smiles softly and fist bumps him back. "Yay Kenny!" Naomi ways waving her hands. Kendric got back in the pool with Grayson. "I don't understand…what did Kenny do?" Alisha asked. Kendric rubbed her head. "Don't worry about it. Just know that he won't be rude to mom anymore. Let's practice some more swimming okay?" Alisha nods. "Okay!"
Over by Grimmjow, he was watching Kendric. 'For a moment, he looked like his old man…and that Adonis brat. Something was off about him as well. Otherwise, Kenny wouldn't have needed to do that.' He scratched his head. 'I just wanted to do something nice for my woman and kids. Why do I need these nobodies to show up and ruin everything!' Ulquiorra and Nel had also seen Kendric's look. It made Nel shiver. Ulquiorra looked at his twin girls. 'That boy might become an issue after all. I will need to keep a close eye on him. I knew he would become a problem the sooner he got older.' His eyes glanced to Oichi. 'I'd have to do it in a way where she won't have to suffer too much. If I can make Grimmjow or Nel understand she will back down.' He looked to Kendric who was holding Alisha up as she padded in the water. 'If he is anything like his father, he will become much too dangerous to keep alive.'
After the shocking announcement of Yumichika and Isane having a secret child, the cookout went on through the night and close to midnight.
Everyone started to clear out. Jess and Ulquiorra stayed the night with the girls. The house was silent as the kids were put to sleep. Oichi was in the room with the twins and pulled out the day bed for Nova and Aerith. They were already fast asleep. Naomi was dozing as well. Oichi was sitting on the side of Alisha's bed. "Mama?" "Yes, honey." "Um…I…" She turned her head to Naomi. "What's wrong honey?" She moved her hand to motion her to come closer. Oichi bends down. "I think I made a friend." She whispers. Oichi giggled. "Is she nice?" She whispered back. "It's a boy. His name is Micah and he is super nice." "Oh? How cute. Do you like this boy?" Alisha nods. "I don't feel nervous around him, and he brings me pudding cups." Oichi sat up and saw Alisha's face was bright red and made Oichi smile more. She heard soft snores coming from Naomi's side. "I think it's wonderful that you made a new friend honey. I hope one day I get to meet him." Alisha smiled and nodded. Oichi kissed her forehead and got up. She turned on the night lamp that lit up the room slightly and gave out a sweet apple caramel smell. She closed the door and walked downstairs. The kitchen light was one. "Why can't I have one!" She heard Jess yell. "Because it's not for you!" Grimmjow yelled back. Oichi walked into the kitchen to see Jess was trying to reach a bottle of wine from Grimmjow.
"Stop being a damn jerk!" Jess says with a growl. "Fuck off! I said I ain't giving it to you!" Ulquiorra was sitting at the island counter just watching. "What are you two doing?" Oichi asked walking and taking a seat beside Ulquiorra. "Oichi! Your stupid husband won't share this wine with me!" "Oichi! Your stupid friend doesn't understand that this wine isn't for her!" "Who are you calling stupid!" Jess says frowning. "You duh!" Grimmjow says. Jess pouted and pouted. It worked when she wanted something from Ulquiorra. Grimmjow smirked. "You think if you pouted, I would cave? That face makes you look uglier." Jess gasp. "You are such a rude man! I don't know what Oichi sees in you." Oichi giggled. "I can list them if you want." "Not helping Oichi." Jess says with a sigh.
"Are we drinking the wine or not?" Ulquiorra says with a sigh. "Oichi has to wait 5 more months. So, no we are not drinking it!" "Oh honey, one glass is fine. I made plenty of milk for the boys. One glass and nothing more. Please?" Grimmjow sighs and sits the bottle on the island. He walks to the cabinet and pulls out four glasses. He gets the wine opener from the dresser. "One glass and that is it." He says putting the glasses down. He grabbed the bottle and opened it with a pop. "This was one of the wedding gifts Ms. Lily gave up." He poured the wine into the glasses. "It's supposed to represent new beginnings." Oichi got up and sat beside Grimmjow and Jess sat beside Ulquiorra. "I like the sound of that. New beginnings. I definitely didn't see myself already married with a wonderful husband and kids." Jess says leaning on Ulquiorra. "I feel the same, falling in love with you was unexpected but I'm happy that it happened." He says.
"Ugh, get a room." Grimmjow said. "What? Don't you think you would be somewhere different if you didn't meet Oichi?" "Of course, I would be. Stuck under a bastard like Aizen. It's whatever though. I got the girl I want, and she gave me kids. She should know she is stuck with me." Oichi laughed as he kissed her cheek. "I'm very happy we meet. I couldn't ask fate to deal me a better hand so…now that this chapter in our lives are moving forward, I think it's time for us to prepare for the future yeah?" She held up to the glass. "To new beginnings!" Jess smiled. "Yeah! To new beginnings!" The four of them clink their glasses together and took a sip of wine. "Mmmm! So yummy! You know what would go good with this?" "Way ahead of you babe. Where is my apron." Jess claps her hands. "Yes! Late-night snacks. I want to help!" "What, didn't I tell you to fuck off! Go watch TV or something." "No! I'm helping! Move over!" "Ugh, you are so damn annoying!" Ulquiorra let out another sigh and Oichi chuckled as she sips on her wine. 'What a wonderful life we all have.'
That concludes this story's last chapter! I just want to once again thank you all for reading. I do have plans to write a sequel for this eventually but for now, it's time for a break.
