Chapter 1: New world.

In a world of tevyat in a city of freedom named Mondstad, There is a Traveler who named Aether who was able to control any kind of elements when he touch a statue of the seven which allows him to control the elements of the archon on each regions. He has a companion who called herself paimon looks like a floating mascot who always accompany Aether no matter what the situation is on his adventure.

In this time, Aether along with Paimon and Amber has just finished training together and currently walked on their way back to Mondstad to take a good rest.

"Uaaaaaah, that was really a good training Aether." Amber said, scretching her hands on the sky.

"It deffinitely was," Aether agreed, "I gotta say you did pretty good against me back there. I didn't expected that you're so athletic that you manage to hit me several times with your punches and kicks."

"You did the same too Aether, both of us really did great." Amber said as she walking back in front of Aether, grabbing both of her hands together behind her, "Let's have another match again next time okay?"

Aether nodded in response, giving amber a thumbs up as he said, "I would love too."

"Hey can we get back to the city faster? I'm so hungry right now." Paimon complained as she holding her belly.

"Don't worry Paimon, i will make you a reaaaaly delicious sticky honey roast for you when we get there." Aether said pumpingly.

"Yahooooo. I can't really wait, c'mon, let's go faster." Paimon said excitedly.

"Okay-okay." Aether said calmly.

All of a sudden, a random portal just show up from below. Aether, Amber, and Paimon was shocked and suprised by the sudden portal that showed up below them. The three of them tried to resist grabbing onto the corner of the portal and tried to climb back up, but their efforts were useless because the pressure of the portal has overpowered them which made them lost their grip and fall inside the portal.

"Damn! If my power wasn't sealed, we would have escaped from this portal." Aether cursed.

"Where will this portal gonna bring us to?" Amber asked.

"I don't know, but i think that it will bring us to another world for sure." Aether answered.

"But why did this portal show up just nooooooew?" Paimon asked as all of them continue to fall, embracing where the portal will bring them.

Meanwhile in Academy City, it's already dark in Academy City. After taking care of the Big spider case, Kotaru parted ways with Touma, Kuroko, Mikoto, and Hondo, coming back to their own dorms.

Kotaru is currently walking at the hill near a certain riverbed where he and Touma usually have a sparring moment with a grocery bags in his hand, want to make dinner when he got back home.

"Man, The big spider case has finally over now," Kotaru mused looked up to the sky, remembering the afternoon he has through with his friend, "There's nothing to be worried against those big spider again, but i wonder will there be another problem coming next after all of this?"

Just as Kotaru finished his question, he saw a portal just spawned in the sky which made Kotaru stopped from his track in response.

"What in the?" Kotaru asked to nobody, shocked by a sudden anomally.

He saw three people coming out from the portal, fall to the ground of the riverbed. Seeing this, Kotaru immediately get closer to where the mysterious people fall to the ground, Kotaru also noticed that the portal on the sky has vanished out of the thin air.

"Hey are you guys okay?" Kotaru asked as he approach the new arrival.

The three people picked themself as they groaning from the pain of falling.

Eventually the long blonde hair boy has recovered from the fall faster, he eventually replied, "Yeah don't worry about me, i'm okay."

"That fall did really hurt my back, but i'm deffinitely okay." The floating mascot replied.

"Uuugh, where are we right now?" The brown long haired girl asked as she holdong out the pain on her head.

"Before i answer that, who are you guys?" Kotaru asked, he suspected that these people were from another world judging by their clothes.

"Ah, sorry about that. My name is Aether," Aether introduced himself, "This brown haired girl is my closest friend Amber."

"Helloo." Amber greeted waving her right arm.

"And what about this floating thing?" Kotaru asked, pointed out Paimon.

"Ah, this is Paimon." Aether introduced, "He is our emergency food."

"Hey! I'm a mascot, not an emergency food!" Paimon said angrily.

"Sorry Paimon, i'm joking." Aether said appologizing.

"Anyway, what about you? We haven't know your name." Amber asked Kotaru.

"Oh, my name's Kotaru Hikari. You may call me Hikari or Kotaru anytime you wanted." Kotaru introduced.

"Okay then Hikari, where in the world are we right now?" Aether asked, wasn't familiar with the world where they are right now.

Kotaru immediately tell them that they were at the city that was called the Academy City, he explains about the city with their advance technology along with the population of 2.8 million people that was esper who are humans that has super power by using a machine. Kotaru went to explain about esper has categorized from level 0 to level 5, but he also explained about a level 6 esper which nobody has ever reach that level even for those who has reached level 5. He also mentioned about esper use their powers by using a personal reality which means create own reality.

"So that's everything that i could explain to all of you." Kotaru concluded, "How about you three? Where do you guys come from?"

"Well..." Paimon trailed off, didn't know what to tell to Kotaru.

"About that..." Amber was the same just like Paimon.

"Let's just say... We come from Tevyat." Aether said carefully.

Kotaru eyes widened in suprised, he repeats "Tevyat?!" After paused for a bit, he asked them, "You mean the world where there are seven archons with a power called vision!?"

"Wait, you know about tevyat?!" Paimon asked in shock.

Kotaru nodded and explained, "Yeah, i've got a strange package a week ago, it has a pet mini seelie and also the information about where ny powers coming from."

"Your powers?" Aether asked.

Kotaru showed the back of his right hand which has his three element vision attached on his right glove.

"That's a vision!" Amber gasped.

"Why do you have a vision?" Paimon asked, " I thought only people in the whole tevyat which is our world people that could obtained vision, but you manage to obtain a vision as well."

"Not only that, it looks like Hikari also has three elements that includes Pyro, Anemo, and Electro which is not normal." Amber pointed out in shock.

"I don't know myself," Kotaru answered, "But i learned that Vision could be obtained for someone who has a high ambition inside them. Even my best friend and girlfriend has one."

"That's really amazing and all, but..." Aether looked around his surrounding, "It's already late night now, do you mind if we go to your house?"

Kotaru looked around and it is already late, the sky already has a dark blue color indicating it's already night. He looked at the group and said, "Okay then, We're going to where i live now so follow me!"

Aether, Amber, and Paimon nodded and start followed Kotaru from behind. There were so many things they have to learn in this new world which is not the same like the world where Aether, Amber, and Paimon coming from.

After running for a while, they arrived at Kotaru's dorm. After Kotaru unlocked his dorm's room, he enter the room followed by the group and turn on the lights inside the room.

"Wow, this place looks comfortable." Amber praised as she looked around the room.

"It really does!" Paimon agreed, she's flying towards the bed and let herself fall to the bed, after a pause, she let out a relaxed sighed as she saying, "Woww, this bed sure felt so comfortable."

"Alright Paimon i know you like it here, but don't forget that this isn't your home at all.." Aether reminded.

"Oh yeah hehe, sorry about that." Paimon said get up from the bed.

"Hey, i'm gonna cook some food for dinner, do you guys want some too?" Kotaru asked as he enter the kitchen.

"Oh sure if you don't mind." Amber said accept the offer.

"Finally Paimon has a chance to eat now." Paimon said happily.

"Want me to helped you Kotaru?" Aether asked.

Kotaru shook his head and answered, "Nah i'm okay, you guys just relax for a bit whilr i make some dinner."

"Okay then." Aether, Amber, and Paimon said in unison.

Three of them decide to do their oen activity. Paimon just laze around on Kotaru's bed while Amber and Aether looked around the room together. Aether got his eyes drawn into the television in his room, he never know what that is so he asked as he pointed out his finger to the television, "Hey Kotaru, what is this black screen on top of this table?"

Kotaru looked at the main room, he looked at where Aether was pointing his finger at and answered, "Oh that's a television, i used it to watch a show that was displayed on the screen." Kotaru pointed his finger at the remote on the table, "If you want to use it, just use that white remote or i should say the white box on the table and pressed the red button on the corner of the remote."

Aether picked up the remote and do as what Kotaru said. As he do that, they were suprised to see that the screen shows a person just like meeting them face to face.

"Woahhh." Paimon said in amazed, this is the first time they saw something like this in tevyat.

"Is there another show to watch with this thing?" Aether asked.

"Oh there sure is." Kotaru confirmed, "You just have to change the channel by choosing the number on the remote or peessed the up and doen arrow on thw remote."

Aether, Amber, and Paimon keep change the channel until they somehow found an education channel which currently displaying about Academy City. Since Amber, Paimon, and Aether want to know more about the world they were currently at, they decide to watch the program.

After a few moments, Kotaru has finished making the curry. He prepared 4 plates of curry to be eaten. He put the plates on the table in the middel of the room.

"Okay everyone, let's eat now."

"Thank you for the meal!" Aether, Amber, and Paimon chanted in unison.

As they take a bite of the curry, they can't help but admire how delicious it was.

"This curry taste sooo delicious." Paimon said as she chewing the food inside her mouth with her free hand grabbing her cheek as she enjoy the food.

"Could you please teach me how to make these? I would like to make some on my own." Amber indeed wanted to cook on her own.

Aether nodded in agreement, and saying, "Same for me as well, i think i would add that into my recipe book."

"Sure, maybe another time." Kotaru said as he chewing the food.

A few minutes later, everyone has finished their plate of curry. Kotaru bring all of the empty plate and wash it. After he finished was the dishes, he get back to the living room sit on the bed and all of a sudden, his virtual watch just got a call from someone he didn't know and has no picture in it.

"What's that?" Aether asked.

"This is a phone call, where we could use it to talk from far away, but you guys keep quiet ok? I don't know who called me right now." Aether, Paimon, and Amber nodded in unison.

As soon as Kotaru touch the screen, the hologram created from his watch in front of him. The visual that's coming from the watch was pitch black, nothing to see but only a dark screen.

"Hello? Who is this?" Kotaru answer the called.

"Hello there Kotaru Hikari," A voice emerge frim the call, "I bet you confuse about this sudden call."

"Who are you? What do you want?" Kotaru asked.

"I am the board director of this city," the person answered, "and you must be confused on what should you do next, am i right?"

"How did you!?"

"I know everything, boy." The person answered calmly, "You don't need to worry, i've already covered everything for all of them. That includes they got registered as a students in this city as well."

"How did you know about all of this?" Kotaru asked, there's no way

"I can't answer that question." The person replied, "But i could help you with this."

Suddenly, 2 keys, an id card, and a note suddenly appeared in front of Kotaru. When Kotaru looked at the keys, he finds out that these are the room keys for Aether and Amber. As for the note, it's a data with a full description of Aether, Paimon, and Amber as a student, but Kotaru widened his eyes as he realized that they're registered as a student in Touma's school and also one class with him as well.

"This is the keys for their room as well as their id card," the man informed, "Tomorrow, you have to bring these newcomers to your dad's lab for a quick system scan since your dad's lab is way ahead than most lab's in the city and has the fastest system scan technology, goodbye."

The person hung up the call after that, Kotaru immediately turn off his watch after finished his call with the board director.

Kotaru immediately informed that Amber and Aether have to do a system scan tomorrow, he explained that it was a regular city-wide testing event in academy city to determine every esper levels.

So he told the three of them to go rest earlier so they could fully rested for the incoming system scan. Amber immediately told Kotaru that she wanted to take a shower first and asked him to guide on how to use the electronic so she could use them when she's on her dorm room and also for Aether and Paimon as well.

After everyone takes a shower, everyone already went into a deep sleep with Amber, Aether, and Paimon is laying on a extra futon that Kotaru have kept. Aether haven't sleeped yet, he looked at the ceiling above him. Aether thinking on how will he manage to bring Amber, Paimon, and himself get back to tevyat again.

His journey on tevyat isn't over yet since he have to reunited with his missing sister again on his journey on tevyat. Aether thinks that no matter what happened, he will make sure to go back to tevyat and reunited with Lumine again before he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
