"Hey guys, it's Penelope's birthday." Deadpool informed.

"Looks like we should get our party in for tonight." The Mask replied.

"I'll have a word with Pepe and Johnny Bravo to get Penelope arranged for it." Mr Mxyzptlk replied.

Everyone was outside Town Hall, while Penelope was wearing a blindfold as the outside had "Happy 72nd Birthday/Anniversary, Penelope" decorations.

"What's the blindfold about?" Penelope asked.

"Eet ees a surprise, mon amour." Pepe replied.

"A surprise party?" Dizzy asked.

"I hope there's still cake." Dee Dee replied. "I'm still hungry even after dinner."

"The cake cutting will happen after the game is played." Flippy informed.

When The Mask opened the doors to Town Hall, it was completely dark.

"Lead Penelope in here." Deadpool instructed.

Johnny and Pepe lead the blindfolded Penelope into the Town Hall.

"Alright, Penelope, you can take off your blindfold now." Johnny Bravo informed.

As soon as Penelope removed her blindfold, the lights came on.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone else yelled, to Penelope's delight.

Mouse Ka Boom blew a Noise Maker.

"You put on this party for me?" She asked.

"It is your 72nd Anniversary after all." The Mask informed. "Anyways, Bigfoot and Mr Yomp will be playing Mortal Kombat Armageddon."

"Bigfoot, long time no see!" Mr Yomp greeted. "How's it going with you and Posh?"

"We have such great fun." Posh informed. "And he treats me like a woman."

"Only the best for you." Bigfoot replied to her, blushing a little.

"Okay, you two, time to play the game." Deadpool interjected.

They loaded the game up, and were amazed by the wide roster.

"Gee, which ones do we go for?" Bigfoot asked.

"Golly, I don't know." Mr Yomp replied.

Meanwhile, Dizzy and Dee Dee were still hungry.

"Can we have the cake now?" Moaned Dizzy.

"Can we have the cake now?" Moaned Dee Dee.

"Soon." Mouse Ka Boom replied, handing them Laffy Taffy candy. "For now, have these. We'll save the cake for when Penelope is ready."

"Actually, I am ready for it." Penelope announced. "It's a good way to pass the time until they select their characters."

Everyone (apart from Bigfoot and Mr Yomp, who were still selecting their characters) gathered around the cake, which had pictures of her, and 72 candles, to sing "Happy Birthday" to Penelope.

"This is a wonderful evening." Penelope happily said, shedding a single tear.

As for Bigfoot and Mr Yomp, they still couldn't decide which characters to play as. They took until dawn, and they were still leaving, causing everyone to leave. Before they left, however, Flippy approached Penelope.

"Hey Penelope, how old are you?" He asked. "You don't look 72."

Penelope opened her mouth to answer Flippy's question.
