Hello! This is something I thought up, since in TOD, we never get to see Juliet get her memories back.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything, and it makes me really sad -sniffle-

Juliet sat crossed-legged in her favorite chair, resting her head on her right fist, and drumming the fingers of her left hand on her knee. She stared at the wall with a small frown, as if it had done something to puzzle the teenager.

Something was out of place in Juliet's mind, and it was driving her absolutely crazy. It was almost like something was struggling right below the surface of her memory. Thinking about the mirrored contacts that Artemis had found intensified the turmoil in her mind.

Juliet sighed heavily, and rubbed her neck with the hand that had previously been pounding four small bruises into her leg. Whatever was fighting to break free of other forgotten memories had been bothering her for a few days.

Feeling restless, Juliet got up and started wandering the halls of the manor. She paced through several halls, trying to uncover the mystery. After passing Butler several times and receiving some strange looks from him, she decided to go up a floor or two to avoid any questions from her brother. She didn't think she'd be able to describe what was going on in her mind without making herself sound like she had lost her mind.

Some time later, she found herself down the hall from Artemis' room. Juliet walked up to his door, and wondered if she should try talking to him about it.

"Arty, can I talk to you for a bit?" Juliet finally called through the door. Artemis opened the door

"Juliet? Is something wrong?"

"I don't know. This week has been a bit strange." She searched for a way to describe the feelings, "It's like there's something really important that I should remember… but can't. Almost like someone stole a book from inside my memory's library and replaced it with something different…" She said, plopping down onto Artemis' well made bed

Artemis raised an eyebrow at her

"Something to do with those contacts you found in Butler, your, and my eyes... I don't really know how to explain it."

"About the contacts…" Artemis began, but was cut off by a ringing phone, "Sorry Juliet, I must take this. May we continue this conversation at another time?"

"Sure." Juliet left the room, closing the door behind her. Something about the tone of the ring was off. It was a lower pitch, and had a different quality than she had ever heard before… Curiosity got the best of her, and she pressed her ear against the door,

"Holly, Mulch. To what do I owe this pleasure?" Juliet could just barely hear Artemis through the door. Holly and… Mulch? Was he talking to some garden fanatics or something? But the names struck at the memory fragments, bringing out something clear. Big hazel eyes full of mischief. A beard with hairs sticking straight out with static. Looking down from a great height over a city.

Juliet staggered away from the door, the shock of those tiny bits of memory overwhelming her temporarily. She shook her head, trying to clear it. Quick as the flashes of memory had come, they had left again, leaving her even more confused.

"Juliet? What are you doing?" Butler's voice made the girl jump.

"H-hey, bro. I didn't hear you come."

"Were you eavesdropping on Master Artemis?"

"Sorry about that, I thought I heard a name I recognized." Juliet smiled at her older brother and turned away, setting the strange memories aside for another day.
