"Auntie, Uncle!"
The children rushed towards the pair who stood outside the house. They hugged Alucard and then Maria. Richter and Annette's children were rays of sunshine. Even the most stoic person could not resist.
"Oh, I'm so happy to see you two!"
Maria kissed their cheeks and hugged them even closer. The eldest child, Cecile, giggled and squirmed under her embrace. "Not so tight, Auntie!"
Maria laughed and let the two go and they immediately started hopping up and down with unbridled excitement. "We're making pie today!"
Maria nodded. "Yes, yes we are. I promised last time that we would do so."
The children took a hold of her hand and walked over to Alucard and did the same. With their small hands they pulled the two adults towards the house. Maria turned to Alucard and the two shared a small smile as they followed the children.
I apologize for not updating in a while. I have so many ideas for shorts but I struggle most with their execution so it sort of demotivates me a bit.
I've been thinking of just uploading the other shorts after this one as their own thing.
