I don't have any notes right now, there are some at the bottom though.

Start Of Chapter

She carved for a long time, making various undefined shapes while the victors kept piling up food and discussing various ways to survive. Of course, all their tactics were completely wrong, and Katniss couldn't help but roll her eyes in exasperation.

Using a sharper knife, she defined the shapes, making weapons like bows, knives, spears and tridents. Seeing the problem, she yanked the axe out of the ground and threw it towards Johanna who caught it without a second thought. Raising her eyebrows, she lifted up the axe high enough for Katniss to understand her meaning. Trying to kill us? She shook her head, yelling, "Cut down like, three or four more trees. Low ones!" Johanna then nodded in acknowledgment, getting to work.

When Johanna had finally delivered the wood, Katniss had hidden all the items, not letting Johanna see anything but the knife and a few designs she had carved, making her think that was all she was doing.

Of course, it wasn't, but when Johanna was finally gone, she went back to work, creating lots of arrows. However, the arrows were missing something. Feathers. Looking around the cornucopia, she saw something that caught her eye. Groosling. Grinning, she plucked the feathers out one by one, and started to put them on, making decent arrows.

Finally finishing the arrows, she realised something, "I need a quiver!" She noticed she still had some left over wood and started fashioning a quiver out of the more bendy type.

Later, when she had finished her…woodwork, which included weapons for practically everyone who knew how to use them, she re-joined the group, who were still discussing methods. Johanna had been saying, "Maybe we could steal?" Katniss interjected, "Won't work!" Johanna jumped ever so slightly; surprised Katniss had managed to sneak up on her. "Why not?" "Because the district is poor. There's nothing to steal."

She sighed, unsuccessfully supressing her eye roll, "Did they not show or tell you anything about 12? You could steal from the richer, but they would see you in the section of town, and you would be whipped for trying." She then passed the weapons onto some victors, who looked at her in amazement in wonder, which she ignored pointedly.

Haymitch, who had been handed nothing, groaned, "Why don't I get a knife!? And how did you make these?" She shrugged, "Wood, and I'm going to make more, ok? Just wait, and Johanna, I'll need that axe," she said, gesturing towards the axe Johanna was gripping in her hands.

More trees had been chopped, more wood gathered, so Katniss left the group yet again, ready to make more knives and arrows for the group.

Just barely finished, she hurried to the group, giving Haymitch two knives, while she studied the victors she hadn't already given items to. She gave Chaff an extra spear, not knowing what else to do, "Any weapon preferences?" She asked those who were unarmed. Most noticeably refused weapons, not being able to handle them, so she simply shrugged, tucking away most of the weapons into her clothes somewhere.

For the rest of the day, the victors trained with their weapons, not like they had anything else to do. Multiple times during the day, Katniss was complimented by the victors commenting on how good the weapons she had made were.

She had tried to look unaffected, but the slight blush on her cheeks were a giveaway, not that many people noticed. In fact, no one but Finnick and Johanna did.

The next day, they woke early, only to black out soon afterwards.

When they woke up, the first things they saw around them was dust. Dust and a few houses. Katniss and Haymitch though, their eyes lit up, Katniss more than Haymitch, and she smiled and said, "The seam. I wonder where the people are." Johanna, looking around a bit more, shouted from in front of a house, "This is the seam!? It looks so much worse than I thought!" Katniss rolled her eyes, "Because you've never been to the seam before. On the victory tour, you never come here, just the higher-ranking part of the district."

Moving on, they looked around the village until Katniss stopped at a door, "This was my house. You can come in, or you can try to go in another."Evaluating their choices, they decided to stay as close to her as possible, so they entered her house soon afterwards.

Hours later, they had explored the whole district, and everything seemed deserted, no one was there, so they came to a conclusion, it was a simulation of district 12, but with no one in it.

"Ok guys, I guess you can attempt to fill up all the rooms." With that, the victors were rushing to get to the best one.

The best one, they found, was one with the door closed, and it smelt way better than the others, it was packed away neatly, with a few photos on the cabinet.

When Katniss came up, she saw what room they were in, and her eyes flashed in recognition, "Don't touch the photos. Don't touch that jacket, and don't touch that blanket," she said, pointing towards the three items in turn. Johanna automatically frowned, "Why not?" "Because it's important, and I don't want you to accidentally break it or anything, ok?" She snapped back. The victors nodded, sensing the direction in her tone.

The night came quickly, and the victors soon found the beds were hard and difficult to sleep in, however, Katniss fell asleep almost as soon as she tucked in, probably automatic or something. When the victors still found they couldn't get to sleep, they decided to have a secret meeting downstairs.

"How does she fall asleep so easily and quickly!?" Finnick called out in obvious confusion. "Because she's used to it. Everyone in the seam sleeps like this, on these…beds. I'm not used to it because I've slept in the victor's village so much, that I've forgotten what it's like," Haymitch replied, frowning. "I can still hear you, you know!" A voice called out from upstairs, making everyone jump. "How can she hear us?!" Cashmere demanded at once. "Because she's got excellent ears. If you don't want her to hear you, just walk out of the house an all the way to the merchant's side of town, that would be too far away for her to hear you," Haymitch deadpanned.

End of Chapter

Ok guys, so I decided to just do five chapters. Sorry if I caused some confusion.
