"I'm pregnant."

Sesshoumaru stared. "Pregnant."

"Yes."

"How …?"

Inuyasha held up two fists, and proceeded to slam them together.

"I see."

"What are we going to do?"

Sesshoumaru looked away. "Keep it."

)-(

"I don't want any fucking meat."

The demon blinked.

"I said I was hungry."

"Yet you reject what I have brought?"

Inuyasha folded his arms across his chest. "I want plums."

"Plums?"

"I'm not asking that much. I am the one carrying your damn child here."

Sesshoumaru watched in bewilderment as the hanyou stormed off.

)-(

"It kicked!" Inuyasha grinned. "Do you want to feel?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Kicking is no great feat."

The hanyou frowned. "You're just jealous no on cares when you kick."

)-(

Another pained grunt echoed through the halls.

"The delivery is coming along smoothly!"

Sesshoumaru ignored the servant. He continued to pace.

"Do you want to watch, my lord?"

"No."

He wasn't sure he wanted to know how a male gave birth.

)-(

"It's a girl!"

The demon didn't understand why this seemed to excite Inuyasha.

"Look at her! She's beautiful."

So Sesshoumaru did look. He tried to smile at the ball of fur and skin.

It really was hideous.

)-(

"It needs to die."

Inuyasha stared at Sesshoumaru.

"No."

"It is crueler to let it live."

"It's a girl. And her name is Kiyoko."

Sesshoumaru turned from the infant.

"It needs to die."

)-(

Inuyasha held the bundle against him.

"How can you even say that?"

Sesshoumaru flexed his claws. "Something is wrong with it."

"No, she's perfect."

"I can not allow it to live."

"How can you be so shallow?"

"Something is wrong with it mentally."

"Never."

)-(

Inuyasha clung to the dirt. "Are you happy now?"

The grave was fresh.

"You wanted to kill her, now she's dead."

"Nature took its course," Sesshoumaru said numbly.

"I don't understand…"

There are some things Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha just shouldn't do together.
