A/N: Ok, here comes chapter 2 and the start of the TV series. I remember having such a fun time with the series as a kid. Had to buy Whale of a Tale on Amazon as for some reason that episode isn't on Disney Plus. Wired. Anyway, hope you enjoy. Play the TV opening now lol.
Out at sea, a pod of killer whales are swimming and a baby killer whale swims close to his mother. Little does the baby know trouble is close as a ship is near them.
"Killer whales! Killer whales off the port bow!" A whaler yells as his crew gets ready to for their hunt.
They begin to shoot harpoons and during the fear and chaos the baby whale is separated from his mother. He tries to find his pod, but they swim so fast, he can't find them or see them. The baby whale now alone gets scared and swims away.
Meanwhile not far from where the whale was separated from his pod, another pod or at least that's what Aries called himself, Ariel, and Flounder from time to time, were swimming around taking in the sites. Aries was currently swimming on his back with his hands behind his head as he and Ariel heard a strange sound.
"What's that sound?" Ariel asked. Aries stopped his swim and turned over trying to place what creature could have sounded like that. Flounder however was beginning to get afraid.
"I don't know. It's scary." Flounder added.
"It's scary Flounder but, not to us, it sounds like they're the ones afraid of something." Aries adds. Ariel speaks again.
"No, it's not. It's sad. Come on, Aries, Flounder!" Ariel swims off wanting to offer help to who ever needed it under the sea.
"Ariel, wait!" Flounder yells trying to keep up with his best friend. Aries swims off catching up to his sister.
"Can't wait Flounder, who ever made that call might be in trouble." Aries says wanting to help as much as his sister did.
They follow the sound, as the baby killer whale tired and afraid sees a shark. He gets scared and swims up to a bush of seaweed to hide in as the shark searches around.
"Now it's stopped." Ariel looks around.
"Maybe it was just a, you know, just a noise." Flounder tries to get his friends to leave the sound alone.
"No. it was somebody calling for help." Ariel says sure of the sound she heard. Aries looks around.
"You're right Ariel, whatever it was wanted someone to answer its calls." Aries continues looking around.
"What if he was calling for lunch?" Flounder tells the Mertwins.
"Flounder not everything in the ocean wants to eat you just because you're small." Aries says trying to calm the small fish down.
"Easy for you to say, not many things want to eat a big strong merman like you Aries." Flounder counters Aries.
"I'm not that big, I'm the same size as Ariel." Aries answered Flounder. The merman not offended by his smaller for his age stature. Ariel then breaks up the boy's conversation.
"Well, if you're scared, you wait here, and I'll go look over behind that reef."
"Hey, wait for me, I'm not scared." Aries follows his sister.
"I'm not scared either. You both look there and I'll, I'll look around here. And I'll call you if if I, if I, if, if I, I, eye, eye, EYE. Ariel!" Flounder shouts as loud as he can. Ariel and Aries both turn around and begin swimming back to Flounder.
"Flounder!" Ariel hopes her friend wasn't in any danger. Aries is right next to her.
The baby killer whale swims off frightened and swims past the Mertwins.
"Flounder! Flounder? Are you all, right?" Ariel asks as she reaches him.
Aries looks behind his sister seeing what had buzzed past Flounder and had been making the cries for help.
"Knew you needed some help." He thinks to himself as he sees a baby orca. Ariel checks on Flounder and the little fish is ok as he regains himself.
"Ariel, Flounder, check it out, look what we found!" Aries exclaimed excitedly.
"Flounder, it's a." Ariel's statement is finished by Flounder.
"A killer whale!" Flounder is scared once again.
"It's only a little one." Ariel says as she moves closer to the Baby whale.
"That's why he was calling out for help Ariel, poor little guy must be terrified being on his own." Aries adds to the conversation. Flounder however is totally against the Mertwins.
" You call that little? His teeth are bigger than I am!"
"Flounder everything is going to be big if you're judging size relative to yourself." Aries reassures Flounder. Ariel now starts trying to get the whale to come to her.
"Come on. Come on. it's all right. Nobody's going hurt you." Ariel says hoping the whale will open up to her.
Aries sticks his right hand out hoping the baby whale will see the two as friendly.
"Nobody's going to hurt him?" Flounder felt as if he was the only voice of reason right now.
"Yes Flounder, no one is going to hurt him." Aries sends Flounder look that says can you please relax.
"Come on. Come on, Spot." Ariel has now named the baby whale.
"Spot?" Flounder questions.
"Uh-huh. See? Right there. There. You're safe. Nobody's going hurt you." Ariel calms the baby whale now named Spot and he swims up to her.
"I think he looks more like a Willy to me, but Spot is fine I guess." Aries says wanting to have named the Baby Orca Willy. Ariel then begins to sing to Spot.
Poor little frightened baby
"Baby?" Flounder questions again only for Aries to look at him. Flounder could tell the expression was one of really.
Wandering on your own.
You've been through a lot.
Haven't you, Spot?
"Poor Spot, where's your mother, where's your family?" Spot begins to cry as Ariel asks him about his mother. Aries then swims up close enough to place a hand on Spot for comfort.
"You got separated from your family didn't you little guy?" Aries asks himself mostly as he rubs Spot.
"Don't cry, Spot. We'll take care of you." Ariel promises the little orca.
Everyone needs a family
No one should be alone
Now Flounder and me, Aries makes three
We're going to be
The family you've never known.
"Flounder, we have to take him home with us." Ariel has now made her mind up on the right course of action. Flounder however isn't sure.
"We have to - WHAT?!" Flounder shouts so loud that even Aries laughs at the reaction from the little fish. Ariel ignores his outburst and continues trying to convince Flounder.
"Oh, Flounder, don't you see?"
Just a little love
And he'll be good as new
In just a little while
Watch a smile come shining through.
He's just a little scared
He needs a friend today
He needs a little love
How can I turn away?
Spot begins to mimic Ariel's signing and Aries smiles.
"He's singing!" Ariel says happy to see Spot has now warmed up around them.
"Yeah, I like hearing her sing too Spot. Has a nice relaxing feeling to it." Aries replies.
"He sounds like you! Kind of." Flounder notices Spot trying to sound like Ariel.
"See, he likes you! You'll be his big brother." Ariel tries to sell Flounder on the idea.
"I don't want to be his big brother! I don't want to be a midnight snack, either. It won't work, Ariel!"
"Yes, it will." Ariel then begins to sing again.
Just a little love
That's how you begin
Showing him you care
Being there to tuck him in
Helping him to grow

Aries watches as Ariel swims next to Spot before the two breach the water before returning below the surface.
"So, if I'm his big brother and Ariel is the mom, what does that make you Aries?" Flounder asks hoping Aries will side with him.
"He's got a mom and a big brother, so I guess I'll be the wise dad giving him advice when he needs it." Aries smiles and then chuckles as Flounder gives up realizing he has lost to Ariel and Aries again.
Back at Atlantica Sebestian is walking around the place before stopping to look at his reflection.
"Funny how a good-looking crab just naturally looks good in anything he throws on."
He notices what he believes to be Ariel, Aries, Flounder, and he wasn't sure who else was with them. He decides to follow the royal twins and make sure they are aware of the upcoming Spring Celebration. Aries and Ariel get spot into their room as they quickly close the door behind them, thinking the coast was clear.
"Quick, quick, quick. Hurry. This is where you're going live, Spot. Do you like it?" Ariel asks Spot as he swims around excited.
"It's going to get really crowded in here with the three of us." Aries says as he tries to imagine where Spot is going to sleep.
Spot then sniffs at flowers in the room that made him sneeze and he starts to make a mess, Ariel laughs at this while Aries tries to catch what he can before they hit the ground. Sebastian comes up and hears the commotion.
"What are those two doing in there?" Sebastian wonders to himself.
"Ariel, you, and Aries both know he shouldn't be in here. Killer whales are horrible. They're the worst things in the sea."
"There are much worse things in the sea than killer whales Flounder." Aries says defending Spot.
"Besides, Spot is just a baby killer whale, aren't you spot." Aries says in a baby voice to Spot.
"Come here, you horrible Spot, you." Ariel now joins in on the fun.
"One day he'll turn on you with all those terrible teeth and he'll just grr." Flounder makes a scary face and scares Spot who swims through Ariel and Aries's bedroom door flattening Sebastian.
"Spot!" Ariel calls him as she and Aries both miss Sebestian calling them.
"Ariel, Aries?" the crab tried to get out, but he was crushed by a scared Orca flattening him with a door.
"Spot! come back!" Ariel grabs Spot's tail and tries to calm him down.
"That's a fine hello and how do you do?" Sebestian says dazed still from the door lifting off him.
"Flounder, you scared him." Ariel scolds Flounder.
"I scared him? Nobody's ever been scared of me." Flounder says surprised.
"Flounder, Spot is still a baby, he doesn't know he's bigger than you, he only knows what's scary and what isn't." Aries speaks up.
"Poor little Spot." Ariel soothes Spot making him feel better.
"I'm sorry, Spot. I didn't mean to frighten you. I'm your big brother." Flounder apologizes which makes Spot feel better.
"Ariel? It's me!" Sebestian yells having recovered from the door being dropped on him.
"We have to hide him." Ariel says as she goes to open the door. Aries not having a lot of time to think hides Spot on Ariel's bed under her cover as Sebestian walks in.
"Sebastian, Flounder and I were just saying." Aries can here Ariel speak to Sebestian.
"Flounder and you and who else? huh?" Sebastian questions.
"Just lil ole me." Aries responds trying to cover for Spot.
"Well then, I just come to remind you two about the big spring celebration." Sebestian announces buying it was just the three of them in the room.
"Sebastian, that's not for three months." Ariel tells the crab feeling he is way too early.
"Well, I know that, but if I don't start in on you both now, you're sure to forget about it and not show up. So, I'm going to keep reminding you and Aries every time I Spot you." Sebastian says not seeing Spot peak out as Ariel recovers him.
"Yes, we know all about it, Bas. We wouldn't miss it for anything." Aries adds but this makes Sebastian even more worried.
"Well, anyway, this year's concert is really going to hit the Spot. Wrote me a new little number. See, I start it off alone with A solo Spot. Wait a second?" Sebestian explains as Spot responds every time, he hears his name. Eventually Ariel's cover falls off him and Sebestian finally notices he is standing on a whale.
"What you doing with that whale?" Sebestian screams at the twins who both respond.
"What Whale?" they both play dumb.
"Oh, that whale. He just sort of followed us home." Ariel says as Aries adds on.
"Yeah, he was very sneaky and stealthy. By the time we noticed he had already found a nice cozy place to sleep."
"Followed you home? Stealthy? That's a killer whale!" Sebastian yells again.
"He won't hurt you, Sebastian. He's just a baby." Ariel reassures Sebestian.
"His name is Spot, we kinda found him wandering around in the sea. He was all alone separated from his family, So Ariel and I decided to take him in." Aries added.
"I'm his big brother. You can be his uncle or something." Flounder joins in.
"Oh, no! no, no, no, no! A killer whale is not a pet! He's not meant to be a pet! You put that boy right back where he belongs!" Sebestian demands.
"Can't do that Sebestian, it's too dangerous." Aries tries to argue back. Ariel takes a more peaceful approach.
"We can't, Sebastian. He'll die out there. You won't, you won't tell daddy about us having a whale?" Ariel pleads.
"Please." Ariel, Flounder and Aries all beg trying to break the Crab which works and finally Sebestian answers.
"What whale?"
"Oh, thank you, thank you, Uncle Sebastian." Ariel says very happy Sebestian decides to keep their secrete.
"Don't you uncle me no Sebastian's! You stay away! You get back there! No! stop that!" Spot now happy uses his tail to flip Sebestian up in the air and out Ariel's room.
"Thank you, Uncle Sebastian." Ariel and Aries both say together.
"If Triton finds out about this, man, I'm crab cakes."
Time skip: 3 months later
"There you are, Spot. Mama has to go to an old spring celebration. But she'll be back very soon. Goodnight, baby." Ariel says as she tucks spot in for the night and kisses him.
"Some baby. I don't believe how much he's grown in three months." Flounder says looking at Spot's new size. Aries then swims down rubbing Spot's head.
"That's because Ariel and I are good parents." Aries laughs.
"Like Mama said, though be good and I'll bring something tasty back for you to eat." Aries promises Spot who smiles and nods in understanding.
"You be good, now. We'll be back soon. Hurry, Flounder, Aries, we're late." Ariel says as she swims off.
"Don't worry Sis we got plenty of time, you know how Sebestian, loves his grand entrances." Aries says swimming off after her.
As Merpeople and fish gather for the big performance music begins to play as a Seahorse makes an announcement starting the big show.
"And for the pleasure of your highness, King Triton, we present to you the spring celebration!"
The show starts with the sea band playing their instruments as Sebastian arrives.
"All right." Sebestian says as he starts to sing.
When I was but a schoolboy, I dreamed I would grow tall.
And man, it made me crabby, that a crab could be so small.
With this I tell my teacher, she say, "But don't you see"?
That each and every creature, is exactly how they should be.
She said we all are special, from jellyfish to king.
We all do different things, and with that she start to sing.
King Triton looks to his right and sees that the spot is empty, but then Ariel arrives, and Triton spotted her. With his attention on Ariel, Aries slides in on the other side of his dad getting into his seat as well.
You got to be you, I got to be me.
It's simple but true, what else could you do? Who else could you be?
You got your own style, now let it come through.
And remember no matter what, you got to be you.
Back in the twin's room, Spot's tail starts shaking, as he hears the music and singing.
Skate fish got to skate, Stingrays got to sting.
Catfish got to purr, and Sebastian got to sing.
"You betcha mun!"
Seahorse have to ride, Flounder got to play.
And whale he got to make the trouble, all the livelong day.
Spot leaves the Twin's room and dances as he follows the music
"Ariel, Aries are you two listening to what I'm singing? Pay attention now." Sebestian says getting the attention of the twins.
So why should you be gloomy, that you're too big or small.
The sea is very roomy, and there's plenty room for us all.
You heard my little story, now let it be your guide.
Just treat yourself with pride, you'll be more than satisfied
Spot swims behind Ariel and Triton, and while Ariel didn't notice, Aries's eyes open wide as he saw Spot swimming away.
"Oh no." Aries says under his breath as he knew the Spot secrete was out.
You got to be you, I got to be me
Spot appears on stage behind Sebastian as the Crab doesn't yet notice.
I'll try to be clearer, look in the mirror. What do you see?
You see what I mean, now let us review.
Let's see now. Some may be tiny, some got the claws.
Gills may be shiny, sharks got the jaws.
Down in the briny, those are the laws.
And that is why we sing
Sebastian gasps as Spot adds his own voice to the performance causing the Crab to look toward King Triton who stares at him with an angry look, as Sebastian turns back to Spot who waves at him. Sebestian seeing, he was already in trouble just finishes the performance.
You got to be you, I got to be me.
It's simple but true, what else could you do? Who else could you be?
You got your own style, now let it come through true.
You got your own voice, you've got to rejoice.
You got to be you, don't be so blue...
Spot starts singing loudly, causing soundwaves that made the stage shake and the merpeople evacuate the area as the whale's singing nearly destroyed the palace.
"And that, my friends, is what is meant by bringing down the house" Sebastian says to no one in particular.
Later Ariel, Aries and Flounder are in the throne room with Spot as King Triton is very upset with them.
"What were you thinking of? Hiding a whale in the palace?" Triton starts very furious.
"A whale in the palace, the idea!" Sebestian adds in.
"People could have been killed!" Triton continues to scold.
"Killed!" Sebestian repeats
" The whole palace destroyed!"
" Destroyed. the whole palace."
"Is he really going to just repeat what dad is saying." Aries thinks to himself as Sebestian does just that.
"Spot didn't mean any harm. He just loves music so much. He was just being happy." Ariel tries to defend Spot.
"I don't blame him for this destruction. He's a wild animal. He's not responsible, but you are, Ariel. You, Aries, and Flounder and." Sebestian hides behind Triton's throne.
" Sebastian."
"Dad, don't blame, Ariel. This was all my fault. I brought Spot home and I'm the one who hid him in my room." Aries says swimming in front of his sister hoping to keep their father's anger off Ariel. Triton sighs.
"Aries one of your best qualities that I love about you my son is how you have always protected your little sister ever since you were little, but you expect me to believe you brought that whale home and Ariel had nothing to do with it." Triton states already knowing his two children.
"Thanks Aries." Ariel whispers to her brother, letting him know she appreciated what he tried to do.
"I know you meant well but he has to go. He doesn't belong here." Triton finishes, his mind already made up.
"Spot doesn't know how real whales live. He just can't make it in the ocean by himself. He thinks I'm his mother." Ariel tries to plead one more time.
"Well, you're not! And if he can't survive on his own, then you'll just have to teach him how. You, Aries and Flounder and." Triton turns to look at Sebestian.
"Come out of there, Sebastian." Triton gets Sebastian to come out of hiding.
"And I suppose he thinks you're his father."
"His uncle." Sebestian answers.
"No, I was the dad, dad." Aries adds.
"Oh, that's perfect then, as you're his father I'm putting you and Uncle Sebastian in charge. Uncle Sebastian is going to teach this whale how to be what he is." Triton tells everyone.
"Me?" Sebestian asks.
"Two weeks and then he's out. And I'm holding you personally responsible Sebestian." Triton declares.
"Oh, me." Sebestian clarifies.
The next day by a reef outside Atlantica everyone is trying to help Spot learn how to be a whale when Sebestian speaks up.
"My friends, it's time to face facts. The boy is not getting it."
"He's just gentle. He doesn't know how to be mean. I like him the way he is." Flounder adds as Spot swims around.
"So will the sharks, man! Out there it's every fish for himself. Sebestian says.
"He doesn't need to be mean Sebestian; he just needs to learn to defend himself." Aries adds.
"Sebastian's right. Spot has to learn how to defend himself or he'll die." Ariel expresses her concern with Spot's lack of learning.
"Maybe it's time for a little tough love. It's the only way to get Spot ready in time." Aries adds. Sebestian whistles for Spot to come over to him.
"Ok, we'll try it again. Where? Spot! Ho there, Spot! this time, Flounder's going to be the shark, and you're going to butt him with the head, swat him with the tail, just like you always do to me, see? You ready there, Flounder?" Sebestian asks Flounder.
"Ready, Sebastian!" Flounder than makes himself look as close to a Shark as possible.
"Now, remember, Flounder is just a pretend shark. You be gentle." Ariel tells Spot.
"Ariel, the entire point of this is for him to not be gentle." Aries tells his sister as she swims over by him.
"Yes, but you said it yourself, he doesn't have to hurt Flunder to defend himself." She tells Aries as they watch Flounder Swim at Spot.
"That's not what… oh great now we're arguing like we're real parents." Aries says outloud.
"Charge!" Sebestian yells singling Flounder.
"Here he comes, the terror of the deep, Flounder the tiger shark! Arr!" Seeing Flounder, Spot gets scared and swims away in terror.
"Spot? Spot, come back." Ariel calls after Spot.
"Was I too scary?" Flounder asks.
"You were fine Flounder; the problem is with me and Ariel. We babied Spot way too much and now, now he's like this and its not his fault." Aries says disappointed in himself.
"I don't know, guys. I don't know if he's ever going understand." Ariel says as disappointed as Aries is.
"If something happens to him, that's on us." Aries says looking at his sister, now realizing how helping Spot back then might not have been the best for him.
"Much more of this thing, man, and I'm going back to the island. Get work in a steel band." Sebastian says also defeated for the day.
That night everyone is heading back to Atlantica to go to sleep.
"Oh, poor Spot, you're all tired out. We'll be home in just a minute." Ariel says to the tired whale.
" Oh, no, no. One thing's for sure anyway. From now on, Spot's staying outside at night." Sebestian says.
"No!" Ariel pleads.
"Your daddy put me in charge. I'm telling you, it's the best thing for everybody." Sebestian doesn't budge.
"Sebastian, please."
" How you going to teach him to live in the sea if he still thinks he's a little baby?" Aries watches the argument between Sebestian and Ariel, but he can see Ariel is not going to win this one, so he waits already knowing what's going to happen with Spot.
"Tomorrow. I promise." Ariel tires one more time.
"No! whales sleep outdoors."
"Ok Sebestian, Spot sleeps outside." Aries says ending the argument. Ariel wants to say something to her brother, but he beats her to it.
"Wanna camp outside with Spot tonight? Sebestian says Spot can't go inside, but there's nothing wrong with us staying out here with him." Aries says having found a workaround Sebestian's decree.
At night, Ariel, Aries, Flounder and even Sebestian sleep outside of Atlantica with Spot. Unknow to them down the reef, a fin is passing by.
The next morning Sebastian wakes up to see Ariel and Aries trying to train Spot again.
"Grr! See, Spot? like that. Now you try it." Ariel encourages Spot who only does a cute sound back at her.
"What was that? That wasn't even close to what Ariel did." Aries looks at Spot before he hangs his head down.
"He's never going to get it, is he, Sebastian?" Ariel says to Sebestian defeated.
"He loves you, Ariel, and Aries as well. He's got that part just fine." Sebestian tries to cheer the Mertwins up.
"But he shouldn't. He needs to be wild. He can't live in the sea if he isn't wild. You were right, Sebastian. I should never, never have taken him home." A disappointed Ariel responds.
"Don't blame yourself, Ariel. Maybe it was wrong to bring Spot home with us, but you did it because of what was in your heart. You showed him kindness and love because you have the biggest heart that was ever under the sea. Give Spot some time. It'll take a little bit for a young killer whale to get back into the wild." Aries tells his sister and gets a small smile from her.
They then see a school of fish swim off fast.
"What's gotten into them?" Aries asks himself mostly as Ariel looks behind where the school had come from. They then see a trio of sharks heading toward them.
"Swim, Flounder! Swim, Spot!" Ariel calls and she and Aries are already swimming away.
"It just had to be sharks, of all the troubles it just had to be sharks." Aries says keeping pace with his sister.
Flounder and Sebastian see the sharks and scream while Spot swims away.
"The reef! Make for the reef!" Sebestian calls out to everyone.
As a shark chases Flounder the scared fish calls out in terror.
"ARIEL! ARIES!"
Spot hears Flounder and while he is scared, he turns around heading back to check on his big brother.
"Flounder! Flounder! ?" Ariel says as she grabs Sebestian. Aries swims under grabbing Flounder pushing the little fish ahead of himself.
"Head for the shell!" Ariel says as Spot then sees a shark trying to bite Ariel, and now all the young whale wants to do is protect his family.
"Where's Spot" Ariel asks as everyone stops outside the shell looking for Spot, but the three sharks are on them, and they must swim inside to try and get away. Spot follows them, but is too scared to go inside, he then sees the top of the shell and swims there.
They swim to a wall, and Flounder goes through as Ariel helps Sebastian get through. Aries turns around and sees the sharks following them as he pushes Ariel through before slipping through the hole at just the last second, as he could feel the tips of the shark's teeth had grazed his tail.
However now the group has hit a dead end and have no where else to go as the sharks are slowly breaking in toward them.
"Ariel, Flounder, Sebestian, stay behind me." Aries says knowing he can't do anything against three sharks.
"Aries no what are you doing?" Ariel grabs his arm.
"I'm not sure but maybe you can out swim them if I cause a distraction." Aries says in a very nervous voice. He was trying to hide his fear, but it was clear he was terrified. Before Ariel could say something else the Sharks broke through and begin swimming toward them. Aries pushes Ariel behind him and unknown to himself his bracelet on his right wrist began to glow.
At the last possible moment Spot arrives saving everyone as he fights off all three sharks by himself. Slapping them with his tail and head butting them before sending all three crashing into a cliff and falling into the sea below.
"Oh, he did it! he did it! He saved us!" Ariel says excited. Aries is so happy he chuckles and swims up to Spot hugging the whale as best he could.
"That's my nephew, boy!" Sebastian exclaims.
"Little Spot, my baby brother." Flounder adds.
"Spot that was incredible, you were incredible. I'm so proud of you." Aries tells Spot.
"Spot, you saved our lives. My father will have to let you stay." Ariel says. Before she can finish Spot and everyone hears the calls of a Pod of Killer whales.
"What is it, Spot? Is that your family?" Ariel asks. Spot looks up and then smiles. He swims up to his pod as they watch him go.
"His Pod came back, and he recognized them, I guess he doesn't need us anymore." Aries says as he smirks but is sad to see Spot go.
"He's going home. It's right for him to go. We, um, better go home too." Ariel says sad.
"I'm going to miss the little nipper." Sebestian says thinking it is over but Spot comes back to hug Ariel and Aries one last time.
"Oh, Spot, you came back! You came back!" Ariel is happy but sees the sad look in Spot's eyes.
"To say goodbye? Is that it, Spot? You're a real whale now. But you're not our whale anymore. Go home, Spot. go home." Ariel tells Spot letting him know everyone will be ok.
"We won't forget you Spot, and even though you won't see us every day, we'll still be in your heart, and you'll be in ours." Aries adds giving the Whale the last bit of encouragement he truly needs to be with his Pod.
"Goodbye, Spot. you were a good baby brother." Flounder says his goodbye to spot.
"Well, Spot, you take care, man. Been a pleasure knowing you. Most of the time, anyway. Don't forget to write. No, Spot! Don't do that! Spot!" Sebestian tries to say his goodbye as Spot uses his tail to launch him into the air like he did before, and Sebastian lands in Ariel's hands.
Spot waves goodbye and swims off to join his pod as everyone goes up to the surface to watch him go and wave goodbye.
Everyone dives back under the water as Ariel rushes over and gives Aries a hug.
"What was that for?" he asks his sister.
"For being a good big brother, now race you back to Atlantica." Ariel says as she swims off. Aries always up for a challenge races off after her.
"You are so on Ariel." He says laughing as Flounder races after them with Sebastian riding on his fin. Aries however never noticed his mother's bracelet was glowing while he was in trouble.
And that is Chapter 2 Whale of a Tale. I'll use this time to some fun Trivia. Aries in my head is voiced by David Kaufman who is best know as Danny Phantom. Aries name for the fic was originally going to be Anikan which is a play on Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars. I changed it to Athenaeus as that name meant Of Athena before finally decision on Aries. Aries I feel works better as a twin name for Ariel and it keeps the connection with Athena as Athena was the Greek Goddess of Wisdom and War while Ares was the God of War. Well into next time.
