Summary: With Eda's Curse worsening Luz and Lilith then find the flower of eternal youth or so they thought
"How much further?" Luz asked Lilith who was walking while looking at a map of the isles Eda had made. "Not much further just another mile or two remember this flower might be the only way to cure my sister." The eldest clawthorne sister said to the young human as she was still finding a way to redeem herself for cursing her own sister even going as far as sharing the curse with her.
"Yeah but even with splitting it to help her it's still working even the elixir isn't working anymore." Luz reminded Lilith who then stopped and looked at a small rotting cave with vines while Luz made a small ball of light as the two then walked into it looking at carvings of large wild cats and flowers. "Have you seen anything like this?" Luz asked.
"I was going to ask you the same thing," Lilith replied as they reached the end of the cave to show a large cat statue with a waterfall and a small purple flower in the middle of it as Luz reached for it but was held back by Lilith. "Don't it could be guarded for all we know." "Hmm..." Luz then tossed a pencil at it and nothing happened while Lilith then grabbed it with her staff before tucking it in her hair.
They soon went back to the owl house as Lilith then took the flower and crushed it before making it into a cup of tea as Luz then tilted Eda's Head as Lilith then feed her sister the mixture as they waited. Soon Eda woke up coughing purple liquid out of her mouth. "Ugh, what kind of drink was that?" She asked them. "Well it's from a special herd that Lilith and I found..."
"You gave me something you don't know what it does!?" Eda exclaimed as her veins slightly turned purple for a few seconds which Lilith noticed and quickly started researching the herd in plant books but found nothing about it like it was never discovered which worried her. During the next few days, Eda slowly started getting better with her overall health being better than it ever did.
"Eda is getting better that's good right?" Luz asked Lilith who was still trying to figure out the heart flower. "I don't know it could be more harmful than the curse itself." "Have you seen her?" Eda was currently lifting the couch with one hand looking for something she lost. "Woah see it's doing great for her."
"I might still have to keep an eye on her," Lilith said with regret and sure enough she continued watching and studying her sister. "Lily there's nothing wrong with me I've never felt this great since ever." "I just want to do..."
"What's best for me, like you haven't told me that before," Eda said as she then left in rage slamming the door which then fell off its hinges as Lilith then continued following her only for Eda to pin her down. "Think I didn't hear you?!"
Lilith was in shock as Eda began to strangle her before snapping her neck as Luz watched in horror while Eda came back to her senses and then screamed.
