Radek Zelenka is probably the only scientist in Pegasus who despises the taste of coffee.

He still drinks it, he'd probably be shunned if he didn't, but it has more to do with the fact that everyone's lives will be in much less danger if he can drink it when he needs to without a ridiculous high.

Now though, he drinks so much he dreads the day when the stimulant will be ineffective.

And he fears for Rodney who became so used to it so long ago that now he relies on little white pills stolen from Carson's infirmary.
