Rise of the Vampire Queen

Chapter Three

Sitting on a pier in a local town wearing a pair of sun glasses in a red rotten dress Natalia smiled. The waves crashed closer and closer to the pier as dark clouds loomed within the sky blocking out the sun. Holding up her Umbrella she welcomed the feel of the sea breeze as It brushed across her skin.

Looking to her left she laid eyes on Percy with Elizabeth by his side. The cerulean aura that our lined his body as he raised his arms and the waters grew closer and closer to the shore. The stores alone the boardwalk were closed due to hisinterferance and she couldn't be happier. Yet even in this weather many people were making their way to the pier. Gasp of masment as flashes of cmaeras only grew as the water churned even more. She always found it funny how natural disasters bring out people crutosity.

Natalia smiled remained across her lips as she waved to passer byers. One of them even shoved her which did anger but she stillkep smiling. But her smile grew even bigger the moment she felt a familiar presence.

"My lady, you called for us?" a voice asked from behind her.

Turning around a young pale man with short jet black hair and red eyes wearing black jacket with a matching color shirt pants and boots. He bowed to Natalia.

"punctual as every Jeffery,"

"Good within an hour this town will get really wet I want the boys to be ready

"May I asked why?"

"Because its dinner time" Natalia said followed with a smile.

A smile spread across Jeffery's Even thought the crashing waves and gale force winds screams and growls reached Natalia's ears. Jeffery walked await to join in as she made her over to Elizabeth and Percy. Laying her hands on their shoulders they both looked up at Natalia.

"Percy, you have done a wonderful job as goes for you too Elizabeth,"

"Thank you my Queen" They both said in unison.

Natalia pulled out a small red orb and placed it in Elizabeth's hand.

"Now head back home while me and the boys finish up here,"

Elizabeth sighed and looked down she could hear some of the screams she saw a person being drag away. Natalia raised Elizabeth's chin and looked into the young ones eyes.

"Your time would soon enough"

Nodding Elizabeth set the orb on the ground and smashed as a red light engulfed them and the two disappeared.

Once they were gone the same man that Natalia bumped into her again

"I'm sorry, the man said.

"Oh you will be," Natalie said followed with a hiss as she exposing her fangs.

Sitting in Chrion's office Dionysus glanced over at the computer screen lunch and got a computer some students gave it to him as a gift for his birthday. Dionysus double clicked on the Internet button and found himself hovering over the latest news.

Double clicking on the button it brought up an image of a pier that was half in the ocean while the other part remained intact title red tidal wave hits East Coast he scrolled down to play a video feed pier.

We are at the blank 20 miles away from the coast of the Pacific Ocean well there have been no forecast of dangerous weather a massive tidal wave has slammed this boardwalk find businesses while many have already seat cover we did spot many people out here taking pictures.

Against escape camera man's face as he aimed the camera down at the wet pale body by his feet. The news anchor layout of screen but took a deep breath as she moved closer to the body the cameraman zoomed in I noticed two puncture marks on the man's neck. The news anchor looked up tapping the cameraman on the shoulder.

Soon the camera turned around and reveals several bodies on the boardwalk. The camera zoomed up and noticed something in the distance looking up standing up from one of the bodies it stood there for a moment then the shadow moved closer towards them the cameraman and the anchorwoman backed up slowly. But as they turned around the camera was not from the ground and the news anchor screamed as the shadow pulled her away and the feet went dead.

Annabeth and Grover stormed into the study.

"Did you see the live feed?" Annabeth said.

"Yes and I have no doubt we are dealing with vampires," Dionysus said.

"So what do we do now?" Grover asked.

"Gear up we are going on a trip." Dionysus said.

Back in a large house Natalia walk down the hall she peeked into a bedroom to see Percy sleeping in his bed and Elizabeth sleeping in a chair beside the door. Slipping inside she placed a cover over Elizabeth. Pulling it up placed a kiss on her forehead. She stood there for a moment until she sensed another presence looking to the door frame there was Jeffrey.

Natalia walked out into the hallway and shut the door behind her, continuing down the hall was Jeffrey joined her.

"Report"

"There's been no sign of him yet, only a reporter and a cameraman," Jeffrey replied.

"Are they still alive? Natalia asked.

Yes, I told the others to keep the news report going for a little while,"

Natalia nodded as she entered into the living room and sat down on the couch Jeffery sat down beside her and took a hold of her hand.

"I see you've grown attached to Elizabeth and the boy," Jeffery said.

"Jealous? Natalia asked.

Jeffrey chuckled as Natalia's smiled.

It's sad really we're almost like family, if only tings could be different," Natalia said

"Well that's the life of us."

"So true."

Before Jeffery said another word he pulled out his cellphone and held up to his ear.

Jeffery smiled "Okay good stay put for now," Jeffrey said before hang up the phone.

Good news?" Natalia asked.

"The best he is on the board walk along with two others others."

"Gods?"

"A half-breed and satyr."

Natalia rose to her feet with a smile across her lips

"Let the games begin."
