Rise of the vampire Queen
Chapter Six
Percy….. Percy
A male voice echoed thought the young demon gods mind. Opening his eyes Percy sat up in his bed removing his red sheets sweat poured down his fore head. He looked around the room hoping to find a body to match to the voice but he found no one. Flipping on the to his lamp he welcomed the dark red color ceiling and walls to the matching drapes over the window. Even the carpet, chairs table and drawers were that color. The only thing that wasn't was the clothes he first came here with.
Looking down at his red silk pajamas he groaned. He must of blacked out again he thought. Queen Natalia said this would happen she said he was sick and only the medicine she gave him everyone morning would calm him. But not beside the black out hes hearing voices. He couldn't put his finger on it but that voice sounded so familiar to him he wondered why.
Shaking his head Percy sighed as a yawn escaped him. He needed to rest Elizabeth said they had a big day planned tomorrow and he would need every ounce of energy he could get.
Turning off his lamp he laid back down and closed his eyes he excpted to hear the voice again but when he didn't he sighed finally drifting off to sleep.
Standing out side Percy's door in the hall way Elizabeth watched Percy light in his room go out. Nodding to her self she continued on down the hall pass the door to her room to the massive window at the end of the hall.
Looking out at the stars across the sky with a crescent moon brought a scene of calm to her. Elizabeth had always been a night owl disliking morning the most. Now since it was she could think. With Bacchus back more and more vampires rive each night at the mansion. Queen Natalia and Jeffery are enjoying having a surge of power. She thought Bacchus would be smiling and laughing along side them but he remained silent. She had always found Bacchus intimidating mostly due to his appearance but now she wast so sure.
Elizabeth ears twitched at the sound of footsteps coming in her direction. She walled hard when the footsteps stopped and standing beside her was none other then Bacchus himself.
The two remained quiet at first neither wanting to speak but Bacchus cleared his throat casing Elizabeth to look at him.
"Lovely night isn't it?"
"Yes, I can finally relax now that you're here"
Bacchus sighed "Natalia does tend to be clingy with the important people she needs,
"Like you, Percy and Jeffery,"
"When I am with her, all she talks about is you."
That's odd Natalia barely talked about her now and days and would go on and on about her and Bacchus. She truly is an odd one she thought but now that she had him all alone she could finally ask the question that has been burning her her mind.
"Are you my father?"
Bacchus turned and looked at her right ting the eyes.
"Its complicated….
"Why?"
"While I do smell my scent on you I smell something much stronger that should of died out long ago."
Elizabeth eyes widen, this wasn't the answer she was expecting. Why couldn't anything ever be simple. Sighing Elizabeth looked back at the window and Bacchus did the same.
"When the time comes I will tell you the other scent I smell."
Elizabeth looked back at him she was about to say another word when another sent of footsteps interrupted them. Within moments a pair of arms wrap around Bacchus Natalia poked out from behind him.
"A family moment?"
"You can say that," Bacchus said.
I should get to bed, good night" Elizabeth said bowing lightly before heading to her room.
Walking out from behind Bacchus Natalia place a hand up to Elizabeth face with a smile.
"Sweet dreams dear"
Nodding Elizabeth walked away. Natalia watched her for a while before joining Bacchus back at the window.
"So why have you come to seek me out?" Bacchus asked.
"We have found the witch that turned you those years ago can you believe she in the same tavern."
"Never thought I would ever see her again,"
"Shall we go say hello?"
"Sure, but first I am going to need a snack."
"Say no more the town where the tavern is has a bunch of meals."
With a smile across their faces they disappeared into the darkness.
Meanwhile in a town far away at a tavern sitting at a table in the backroom a woman with long raven black hair and emerald green eyes shuffled a deck of cards. She eyed people that walked in, they passed by her there eyes looking in the history the filled the walls. Putting her hands thought her hair her eyes went to the end table where a single card facing down moved a little. The moment she looked away the whole end table fell over and the card was face up. Picking the card up the king of hearts steadily transformed into a familiar blood red demon with curled horns and a blood drop on either side.
"So its finally time for us to meet again" The woman said as she pulled a card off the top of the deck. And form the looks of this It will be different this time.
