And I'm back with the next chapter of Meta-Verse. In this chapter, the Revengers has gone to a haunted house to see what goes on, with reports of something lurking there. Let's start the mystery, shall we?

In the Revengers' base, in the sleeping quarters, we see Reg sleeping in bed. But, he felt troubled.
All of a sudden, a dark shadow walks close to Reg's bed.
Reg jolted awake, then looks and sees the shadow. It reveals to be a female.
This female has intense black hair and red eyes. Well, we don't know her left eye's color, due to her wearing an eyepatch on it. She wears a black long-sleeve shirt, blue skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Mei Misaki.
"W-w-who are you?" Reg is scared.
"I am nothing. For I am The One That Does Not Exist. That what people say. At least." Mei said.
"What's going on?"
"You see, it be best if you came. And see me. Come to the Yomiyama North Middle School and find me there. There is something that's haunting the school...right now."
"Y-y-you mean…?"
Mei nodded.
"Um, well, maybe...I can come...Maybe…"
"You're afraid. It's natural for everyone to be afraid."
"But why me though?"
"Because you're one I trust. See you there."
"Wait!"
Mei just disappeared.
"What was that just now?" Reg thinks, then gets out of bed.
"Suu?" Suu wakes up and finds Reg leaving the quarters.
Reg finds Stocking Anarchy eating sweets in the meeting room. "Could I talk with you?"
"About what?" Stocking asked.
"It's about something haunted." Reg said.
Stocking stopped eating sweets, then turns to Reg, with a serious face. "What haunting?"

In the sleeping quarters, Lucas the Spider was reading a scary story, trying not to freak himself out. But then, he hears voices.
"Yomiyama North Middle School?" Stocking asked.
"Correct." Reg said.
"Hmm. This isn't a haunting I've saw before. What do you think it is? If it's something I know, then we get out there and kick ass. If it something I don't know, then I'm lost."
"I don't know what this girl is going on about."
"What girl?"
"The girl with the eyepatch. The One That Does Not Exist."
Lucas's eyes widened, as he is reading that story...right now.
"The One That Does Not Exist. Ask Lucas on this. Because he's reading that story right now." Stocking said.
"Alright. You know where he is right now?" Reg asked.
"Room next to me."
"Thanks."
Lucas gets back to the book, realizing that the stories are true. "How odd…"
Reg came into the room. "Lucas?"
"Here I am." Lucas crawled to the edge of the table.
"I've been told by Stocking that-"
"I've overheard."
Reg just looked at him. "You know?"
Lucas nodded. "I've read this book here. Still reading it right now. Someone mysterious gave me this book. Don't know who it was. But, it was some sort of author that died and lived in a clock world. I don't know."
"What do you know?"
"Apparently, from what I've read, that this girl does not exist to people. Or, that's what they think. They wanna pretend she's not there. Sad, honestly. And there is something about her eye."
"The eyepatch?"
"The Prosthetic Eye. That eye can see the Color of Death."
"Color of Death?" Reg cringes. "What does that mean?"
"I'm not sure. But, I'm gonna assume that means someone might die soon is what it meant."
"That's a spooky feeling."
"Why ask?"
"I was told by her to go to the Yomiyama North Middle School, to find out what haunting she is talking about."
"Oh wow. You can't do this alone, you know?"
"I know. I might need a team here."
"I'll call Mary on this."
"Thank you."
Lucas nodded, then crawls off the table, onto the floor, then crawls out of the room.
"He's much more cuter than a Silkfang." Reg thought.
Later, everyone is gathered to the Helicarrier, led by the Incredible Mary. (Nah, she isn't that incredible)
"Just give me some time to be incredible, will ya?" Mary said.
Fine, go ahead. Not my problem.
"Thank you. A-ahem. Alright guys. We need to go bust some ghosts." Mary said.
"Bust some ghosts?" Everyone is confused.
"Yeah. Ghostbusters." Mary said.
"What are Ghostbusters?" Marulk asked.
"You don't know dude? Come on. They're the coolest people back in the 80s!" Mary said.
"I've heard of them before. I even have their phone number too." Katy Caterpillar said.
"At least that guy knows." Mary points at Katy.
"Are you sure they're confident?" Said a female.
This female has black hair and blue eyes. She wears a white dress, green long-sleeve jacket, see-through skirt with snowflakes on it, gray stockings and black boots. This is Miyuki Shiba, aka the Snow Queen.
"You saying they aren't? Dude, they can handle anything...well, except for that one time with Casper's uncles. Yeah. That was not cool. I think he was a douche at the time that happened." Mary said.
"What happened?" Miyuki asked.
"I wasn't there, but when one of the Ghostbusters gone into Casper's house, and gets attacked by Casper's uncles, he came out and said "Who you gonna call? Someone else." That was a jackass move on his part." Mary said.
"Maybe he was scared of Casper's uncles." Riko said.
"No hell way he wouldn't. The Ghostbusters tookin' out the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man." Mary said.
"I remember that. A giant ghost that is made out of marshmallows. Yummy marshmallows." Katy said.
"What a marshmallow that loves unicorns?" Lucas asked.
"Heck no. He's an idiot. Or is it she? I don't know." Katy said.
"We don't wanna waste time here. Are we going or not?" Nanachi asked.
"Yeah, let's go." Mary said. "Hold on to your asses. Because this will be a wild ride."
The helicarrier takes off and into the sky.
Yomiyama
Later, the helicarrier landed onto the school's track field, then the team got out. 4 females and a young boy has gotten out last.
The first female has thin pale blue swaying hair that is casually short, but there is a tuft of hair tied up on both sides of her forehead and indigo colored eyes. She wears a desert-colored long-sleeve military jacket, white bulletproof armor, black shorts, desert-colored thigh-high socks and black combat boots. She also wears a white muffler around her neck. This is Shino "Sinon" Asada.
The second female has bright blonde hair and dark turquoise eyes. She wears a black long-sleeve dress with white frills on the neck collar, her hand collars and skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown shoes. This is Karin Hanazono.
The third female has waist-length dark brown hair that is topped by three red pegs with three strands hanging on her forehead and light violet eyes. She wears a black long-sleeve shirt, black skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Ayumi Otosaka.
The fourth female has thigh-length shiny black hair that has a pink triangle hairclip on the left side with bangs hanging on the right side and deep pink eyes. She wears a white short-sleeve shirt, brown skirt, black thigh-high socks and brown loafers. This is Mui Aiba.
The young boy has short bright blonde hair and dark turquoise eyes. He wears a bunny-like hat, white cloak, gray long-sleeve dress and black boots. This is Suzune Kujyou, future son of Karin Hanazono.
"Alright everyone. Keep your eyes peeled for ghosts." Katy said.
"Ghost Trailer?" Mui asked.
"Nah. Actual ghosts." Katy said.
"I'm afraid of ghosts!" Karin shrieks.
"No sweat." Sinon prepares her sniper. "I can kill that thing with only one bullet. If it's enough. If not, try harder, or die trying."
"You're like MADLAX." Margaret Burton said.
"Am I? I did not realized that." Sinon said.
"Well we have a tough person on board." Karin said.
"Do we?" Suzune asked.
"Let's get inside. If we wanna catch this ghost." Mary said.
"I like a challenge. Especially if it's fucked up as this one." Panty Anarchy said.
"Let's not go too far on that." Stocking said.
"Aww." Panty said.
They went inside the school building and begin their search. ID-3 Hoihoi-san grabs a flashlight and shines it to see where they're going.
"We might need one too." Karin said.
"Does anybody have a flashlight?" Miho Nishizumi asked.
Sophie grabs a flashlight out of her bag and turns it on.
"What we need." Yoshika Miyafuji said.
"Be careful. Because some ghosts can be vengeful." Katy said.
"Vengeful ghosts. Ooo, that's freaky." Lucas said.
"Spiders can be freaky too, you know?" Mui said.
"Hey! Don't say spiders are freaky." Lucas gets offended.
"But they are." Mui said.
Lucas sighed. "I'm gonna ignore you."
"Why ignore me?! I'm telling the truth here!" Mui said.
"Quiet." Reg holds out his hand, signaling for them to halt.
"What's going on?" Raggedy Ann asked.
Reg tries to hear. "I sense someone's here."
"Who's here, Reg?" Riko walks to Reg.
Reg tries to pinpoint the scent. "I'm not sure myself."
"So we know he's here. Or she. You may never know." Sophie said.
"You have amazing damn scent, you know that?" Panty said.
Reg is just silent, trying to pinpoint where this person is at.
Then, suddenly, a tall slender man appeared. This man is faceless and has long arms and legs. He wears a black long-sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes. This is Slender Man.
"Oh my God!" Reg screamed.
"Oh God! The legends are true!" Mary said.
"What legends?!" Nozomi Moritomo asked, frightened.
"The legend of the Slender Man. They're true!" Mary said.
The Slender Man staggers towards them.
"I suggest we run!" Katy said, frightened herself.
"No. We stand and fight this goddamned Slender Man for good!" Panty takes off her panties (You read that right) and they turn into a gun.
Stocking takes off her stocking and it turns into a sword.
"Okay, what are you guys? Perverts?!" Mui was disgusted by the fact Panty's panties can turn into a gun.
"Nope. Just ghost hunters." Panty said.
"We're sending this guy where he belongs." Stocking said.
"Ready, Stocking?" Panty asked.
"Don't mess around." Stocking said.
Panty and Stocking charged at the Slender Man, to which he completely dodges every of their attacks and he grabs Stocking with one of his arms and throws her to the wall.
"Dammit, Stocking!" Panty shoots at the Slender Man, to which he dodges.
"Don't let him kill you!" Katy said.
A hand suddenly grabs Katy and pulls her into the darkness.
"Katy-sensei!" Everyone said.
Break
It's dark and quiet.
"H-hello? I'm quite scared right now. Hello?" Katy tries to see what happened, but is surrounded in darkness. "Willa's gonna kill me if she finds out I'm missing for long."
"Why do we have to grab that caterpillar instead?" A female voice asked.
"What? I thought we might talk to this guy, that's all." Another female voice said.
"You were supposed to grab that robot boy, you idiot!"
"Caterpillars are cute."
"Goddamn you."
"Hello?" Katy asked, becoming more frightened now.
The room lit up, and reveals four females.
The first female has short upper neck length orange hair with a small side ponytail in a crescent shape and red eyes. She wears a white short-sleeve shirt, red skirt, white and orange striped thigh-high socks and black shoes. This is Akari Taiyou.
The second female has indigo knee-length hair that has two pigtails held up by star hair bands and indigo eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, black shorts, black thigh-high socks and silver boots. This is Seira Hoshikawa.
The third female has long green hair and yellow eyes. She wears a green hat, green short-sleeve dress, white gloves, white stockings and brown loafers. This is Luna Tsukuyomi.
The fourth female has long blonde hair that's bouncy and wavy and light blue eyes. She wears a black headband with white ruffles on it, sleeveless navy-blue dress and brown boots. This is Ginka Shirokane.
They work for the organization known as the Sephiro Fiore, who's duties are to destroy Daemonias all over the world.
"Who are you guys?" Katy asked.
"I'm Ginka Shirokane. You look cute, by the way."
"Luna Tsukuyomi. Pleasure to meet you."
"Akari Taiyou. Pleasure to meet you, too."
"Seira Hoshikawa. Just for the record, we weren't wanting you, we were wanting the robot boy."
"You mean Reg?" Katy asked.
"That's right." Seira said.
"Look, we are in a situation right now. And it looks bad." Katy said.
"That is what I've known." Mei Misaki is behind the chair. "Darkness fills the skies. And there's noting left. But pain...and suffering…"
"Just look at the bright side, Misaki-chan, we already have ourselves prepared for this type of stuff, you know?" Ginka said.
"Are you quite sure about that?" Mei asked.
"Uh-huh." Ginka nodded.
Mei sighed. "This is pointless."
"Look, we need to get back there. Otherwise, I wouldn't be sure what would happen to them." Katy said.
"Do you even got the guts to do even fight that thing back there?" Seira asked.
Katy brings out her Big Impact Gun. "Trust me, I'm armed. And dangerous."
Seira sighed. "That's great."
"What now, Seira-chan?" Ginka asked.
Seira thinks for a moment. "I say we get out there and kick his ass. I mean, nothing's gonna be accomplished if we don't do something about it."
Ginka smiled. "That's an idea."
"Just fyi, don't grab me all of a sudden again, got it?" Katy glared at Ginka.
"Sorry." Ginka scratched the back of her head.
"She's not that dumb, but that was one dumb act you did." Seira said.
"Huh?" Ginka is confused.
Seira walks to Katy, grabs her and put the little caterpillar on her left shoulder. "I think you need some type of ability then that gun there."
"The gun's the only thing I got right now." Katy said.
Seira sighed. "Geez."
"Let's get going, shall we?" Ginka said.
Back with Reg's group, the team still tries to fight off Slender Man.
"Those hands can be creepy." Mui said.
"I say the creepiest part is probably his faceless head." Mary goes into fire mode and blasts fire at Slender Man, but it didn't burnt him. "Fuck."
Panty shoots her gun like gun crazy, but Slender Man isn't feeling any pain. "You got to be kidding me."
"Something must kill that thing!" Joy said.
"Something must." Celebi agreed.
Then, out of nowhere, Akari, Seira, Kuna, Ginka and Mei came into the spotlight, alongside Katy.
"There you are!" Ponyo said.
Reg turns around, then realized. "It's the girl."
"Thought you guys need a little help." Ginka grabs her double-sided baton.
"Time to put this guy out." Seira grabs her blue firey sword.
The Slender Man then ran to the five. Katy aimed her Big Impact Gun on the Slender Man and fires, with the blast throwing him to a wall.
"Wow. I'm impressed." Seira said.
"Piece of cake." Katy said.
Ginka charges at Slender Man, but he disappeared in shadow before she even gets a chance to fight him off. "Aww, no fair!"
"Where did he go?!" Akari is quite shocked at this.
"He's hiding." Mei said.
"Okay, what's going on?" Reg asked.
"As you can see, illusions has been going around this school for days now." Mei said.
"Days?" Everyone except for the Sephiro Fiore girls and Mei are surprised.
"You see, illusions has started spreading throughout this entire school building, and it keeps killing people who dared go into this school one...by...one...a tragic mistake. It's a mess right now. And it still is." Mei said.
"How do we stop these illusions?" Riko asked. "I'm feeling like that this is kind of like the Curse of the 3rd Layer of the Abyss."
"We still hadn't came up with a plan or anything. It's just there." Mei said.
Reg sighed.
"Well, that was hard to believe. But, after seeing that." Ann nodded. "I can believe it."
"Like I said, who you gonna call? Someone else." Mary said, sarcastically.
"This isn't a laughing matter right now. This is serious." Seira said, coldly.
"I know that." Mary said.
"So, now to find this Slender Man, wherever he is." Morgana said.
"If we find him, that is." Katy said.
"Don't pull a smart one on us again, Katy." Willa Caterpillar glared at her sister.
"I wasn't the one doing that." Katy said.
"I might pull the same trick as her."
They turned around to see a man behind them.
This man has brown hair and no eyes. He wears a green shirt, brown long-sleeve jacket, black pants and black shoes. This is Gordon.
"And who are you?" Sinon asked, pointing her sniper at Gordon.
"I am Gordon. And I am...an Inhuman."
"Inhuman?" Reg asked.
"A person that has powers." Gordon said.
"What powers do you have?" Mary asked.
"Transportation." Gordon said.
"But you don't have eyes." Katy makes a point.
"I don't. But, I can still see things the way people don't." Gordon said.
"That's another ability." Harukasan said.
"Who are you gonna do the trick to?" Mei asked.
"To him." Gordon points at Reg.
"Um, me?" Reg points at himself.
"That's who I'm pointing to, isn't it?" Gordon walks to Reg. "You're also Inhuman. Together, we can destroy ordinary humans for good."
"You can't just do that." Miyuki said.
"Watch me try." Gordon produced reflective blue energy surrounding Reg and him, grabs the robot boy, then teleported.
"Reg!" Riko shouted.
"Dammit." Seira said.
"We need to find Reg!" Riko said.
"Wait a minute. Gordon has the same abilities." Harukasan said.
"What are you saying?" Ushio Okazaki said.
"I know of someone that has the same abilities as him." Harukasan said.
"You mean me?" A Puchidol came to them.
This Puchidol has black hair and reddish-brown eyes. She wears a blue sleeveless shirt, white skirt and is barefoot. This is Miurasan.
"Miurasan." Harukasan said.
"Aya. So, need me to take you anywhere?" Miurasan asked.
"We need to follow that eyeless man. He captured our friend." Harukasan said.
"Alright then. I'll try and pinpoint where he's at. But that's not gonna be easy, since he's a transportating guy and I don't pinpoint transportating guys that easily." Miurasan said.
"Just try." Riko begged.
"Alright. First, make a sound for me." Miurasan said.
"Will do. Alright everyone. Get ready." Harukasan said.
They stick close to each other. Harukasan clapped, then it triggered Miurasan's transporting powers and they transported out of the area.
Meanwhile, reflective blue energy appeared in the school's PE area, then Gordon and Reg teleported there, then the energy disappeared.
"What do you want with me?!" Reg asked, scared.
"Magneto would like to have you, since you're...different from the rest." Gordon said.
"Different from the rest? What do you mean?"
"What I'm trying to say, is, that you're not human. And we trust Inhumans. Any ordinary human will be violated and killed."
"Alright, listen here, I'm not joining this Magneto's plans here."
"Oh, I'm afraid you don't make the choice."
"He does need you, after all."
Reg's eyes widened, then turns around slowly, then he sees a dark mess.
This dark mess has red widened eyes and red smiling mouth. This is Illusion Maker.
"Who are you?" Reg's voice edges in fear.
"I am Illusion Maker. And I am one of Magneto's associates."
"What are you gonna do?" Reg asked, scared.
"Simple." Illusion Maker transforms into a masked serial killer.
This serial wears a scary white mask with black eyes and a black big wide mouth and wears a black robe and black gloves. This is Ghostface.
"Make you one of us." Ghostface said.
"You have no choice but to join us. Join the Brotherhood of Mutants." Gordon spreads his arms out.
Reg shook his head. "I'm not doing it."
Suddenly, Miurasan and the gang transported to the area that Reg, Gordon and Illusion Maker are in.

"You dare interfere with our plans." Gordon said.
"So you're the one that is causing all the illusions. Illusion Maker." Mei glared at Ghostface.
"Illusion Maker?" Riko looks at Ghostface.
"Yes. Your school is such a pity. Now it's it's turn to face more darkness." Ghostface grabs out a knife and ran towards Mei.
Mei takes her eyepatch off, revealing to have an eye that changes color. Dark shadows closes in on Ghostface.
"What is this?" Ghostface looks around.
"This isn't my ability before, but overtime, I inherit it. I feared it. They were out of control, until I controlled my powers. Prepare to face death." Mei said.
"Death does not consume me. I am made of death." Ghostface said.
"Are you?" Mei asked, not fazed.
Ghostface transforms into a gray Gargoyle, then took to the sky, escaping the shadows.
"Don't let it get away!" Katy said.
Seira jumps up to the sky, about to fight the Gargoyle. Seira screamed in rage and slashed her sword at the Gargoyle, to which it took damage. The Gargoyle screamed in pain, then transforms back into Illusion Maker, which grabs Seira with his dark hands, then throws her to the ground.
"Seira!" Luna ran to her. "You alright?"
"I'm fine." Seira gets up.
"He isn't done yet." Katy said.
Illusion Maker transforms into a black suit person that has his face hidden in a black mask. This is the Rubber Man. He jumped down to the team, then fights them off.
Akari grabs her firey sword and charges at the Rubber Man, but he dodged instantly.
"This is foolish." Gordon teleports to Reg and grabs him.
"You're not taking him." Miyuki produces icicles to form, then she threw them at Gordon, to which he dodged, but one hits Gordon's hand, letting go of Reg.
Gordon shook his hand, then looks at it, with it being trickled in blood from the icicle. "Dammit."
Riko grabs out a sphere-shaped object, to which, inside, it has a pen-point spear in it, to which she throws it, makes the spear extend, and it hits the Rubber Man.
"You fools don't know a thing. I'll be back." Gordon transported out of the school building.
"He got away!" Ginka said.
Ayumi's hair glowed.
"Ayumi?" Mary is confused.
Ayumi then activated her ability. The whole school crumbled.
"Oh no. Let's get out of here!" Katy said.
"Everybody! Hold on!" Miurasan said.
Harukasan quickly clapped, then everyone transported out of the building. The Rubber Man looks up, then screamed, with the whole school building collapsing on him.
Outside of the building, Miurasan and the gang transported outside, then sees the school building collapse. Mei looks at it in surprise and fear.
"What the fuck did you do?!" Mary shouted angrily at Ayumi.
Ayumi panted. "I have to."
"That would have gotten us killed! You damned idiot!" Mary then walks to the helicarrier.
Ayumi felt hurt due to that.
"Does this happened before?" Riko asked.
Ayumi sighed. "It did. I died. But my older brother traveled back to the past and saved me."
"From letting your death happen again." Reg assumed.
Ayumi nodded.
"What you did...frightened me." Mei said.
"I'm sorry." Ayumi said.
Mei sighed. "You're fine."
"We should head back." Reg said.
"I agree." Katy said.
They went back to the helicarrier.
Unknown place
"You failed."
"I'm sorry." Gordon said.
"Let this be a warning to you." A shadow that has a helmet with horns said.
