Something is always worrying Tezuka. Not to the Oishi degree, but it was always there. Making him look serious, frown, and once in a while still grab his own elbow even years after getting better. And Fuji had seen him doing this several times during the last days...

"It's just Tezuka's way to be," Oishi says when Fuji makes a comment about it during lunch at college. "Inherited, one would say; his grandfather is like that too. Also, exams are coming, and maybe that's why he's a little more tense than usual."

"Hey, you're taking Oishi's place or something," Eiji asked as well, blue eyes round and face rather close to his best friend's. "Not usual from you to worry as well, Fujiko! Tezuka is Tezuka and will always be, me says, so no drama about it, nya!"

Well, they were most likely right. Maybe he was the one being oversensitive, what with being worried because Yuuta had told him through e-mail that his roomate in the Kyoto University dorms was none other than his (sort-of) boyfriend, Mizuki. Yeah, Mizuki had the stamp of approval from the Fuji family, given to him when they let the other stay over to tutor Yuuta for the university exams - but Fuji still was a little miffed about it... and self-admittedly, a bit jealous.

"Tezuka will always be Tezuka... and I will always be myself, so to say," he thought after leaving Oishi and Eiji at the cafeteria. Smiling a little. Yeah, maybe he should surrender to that little big truth... but only partially; he would always try to find a way to use it for any other ends.

After walking around for a bit, Fuji reached the uni campus' small tennis courts - and not to his surprise, Tezuka was there, hitting some balls to train on his own. His bag was on a nearby bench, along with some history and law books that surely were just too big to fit inside.

"Okay, maybe this is my chance!"

Tezuka was very focused on his training, so he didn't see Fuji until the other young man was standing practically next to the net, racket in hand. He looked at Fuji with wide eyes, certainly not expecting him to be there.

"Saaa," Fuji said, walking up to Tezuka with a smile, "so you've decided to try de-stressing and de-worrying in your very favorite way..."

When they were face to face, Fuji tiptoed a little and kissed Tezuka's lips briefly.

"... Care to let me join in, Kunimitsu?"
