Chapter 2: Gone
Opening (Beverly Be the One starts now)
Down below at the ocean, we cue at an underwater cave, where we see the Metropolis Yearbook lying on a pedestal as it opens up and shows a picture of SpongeBob. Zooming into the picture, we see SpongeBob standing on top of a cliff as he looks down at the city of Reef Bottom, and dropped down to his knees as he cried.
Together doesn't matter for how long
Still crying, SpongeBob feels a hand being placed on his shoulder as he looks up and saw Wonder Woman smiling down at him as he smiled slightly and stood up as he dried away his tears.
I'll keep going, wherever these footprints will lead me I believe it's destiny
SpongeBob gave his friend a thankful look, when suddenly, Batgirl appeared via a grappling hook as she landed beside him and they shared a high five as Bumblebee flew in and landed on his shoulder as they smiled at each other.
An endless road, but I know that you're strong and bold
The area around them glowed purple as SpongeBob, and the girls looked up and saw Zatanna flying down as she landed on the ground and shared a loving hug with SpongeBob.
Somewhere out there waiting for me with a smile that shines like gold
We then see Spongebob and the girls flying through space with the help of the Green Lantern as they whooped in excitement, and SpongeBob and Jessica smiled at each other warmly.

At Metropolis, we see SpongeBob and Kara hanging out in the roof of the Daily Planet as they watched the sunrise together. During the middle of their date, SpongeBob and Kara turned to each other and smiled lovingly as they leaned in for a kiss.

I don't wanna give it up, fighting for tomorrow
We then see the team facing off against the Super Villain Girls as Supergirl and Bumblebee flew towards an enraged Giganta, Wonder Woman dodging Catwoman slashes, Green Lantern cutting down Poison Ivy's with a will-powered chainsaw, Batgirl trading blows with Harley Quinn, Zatanna blocking Star Sapphire energy beams with her magic, and finally, SpongeBob faces off against Livewire as she blasted him with thousand volts of electricity.

SpongeBob smirked as he shape-shifted into multiple forms such as a Shark, a Squid, a Killer Whale before reverting back into his regular form as he inflated his fist and threw a punch.
Love is strong and it'll always find a way
Green Lantern and Garth grunted as they worked together to block a massive blast of energy with their light/water constructs as their teammates cheered for them in the background.
Reaching out your hand, just take it closer to your heart
Never lose the fire, and hold on to what you believe
Traversing across the sea on a will-powered boat, SpongeBob swam beneath the boat as he leaps into the air, and smiled at his friends before diving back into the ocean as they headed straight towards their enemy.

SpongeBob and the girls glared at the giant Kraken-like creature in front of them as they stood in fighting stances, and SpongeBob's body glowed brightly as he charged at the creature with the girls following right behind them as they leaped towards the giant monster and a flash of light occurred.

Finally, the title card appeared accompanied by a picture of the girls and SpongeBob having fun with each other in their civilian forms as SpongeBob turns to the readers and winks.
SpongeBob was still passed out drunk from having too much sugar as he slept soundly on the floor. Before groaning as something bright shined into his eyes, and he wakes up as he rubbed his eyes.
"Ugh, what happened?" SpongeBob asked groggily whiles sitting up as he looks around and blinks in surprise as he noticed that he was sitting in a dark room, and there was no one in sight. "Patrick? Patrick, where are ya at, buddy?" SpongeBob called out as he stood up and was about to search for his friend when suddenly, a flash of light appeared in front of him as he yelped and covered his eyes.
After a few tense seconds, SpongeBob slowly opens his eyes and gasped as he saw a tiny glowing gold-colored jellyfish floating in front of him. Transfixed by the little jellyfish, SpongeBob reached out to touch, but before he could, a soft voice spoke up.
"SpongeBob." A female-like voice says, startling the heck out of SpongeBob as he looked for the source of the voice, but failed as he looked back at the Jellyfish curiously. "Yes, it was me, child." The jellyfish spoke calmly as SpongeBob stared at her with awe/fear.
"W-What are you?" He asked in a half-whisper as the tiny jellyfish glowed briefly.
"You'll find out soon enough, but more importantly, I'm here to tell you who you are."
"What do you mean by that?" SpongeBob asked, completely lucid at this point as the jellyfish was about to respond, but stopped as it glowed briefly again.
"Maybe it's best if I tell you later, but for now, wake up."
"What?"
"WAKE UP!"
Spongebob's eyes shot wide open as he sat up and looked around as he saw that he was still at Goofy Goober's, and was surprised to see that it was completely wrecked! Tables were tossed on the floor, ice scream was splattered all over the walls, and, somehow, some of the tables were stabbed into the support columns like shurikens.
"What happened?"
"Hey, SpongeBob." A familiar voice says as SpongeBob turns his head, and was surprised to see Cartobo looking down on him with an annoyed look. "Look, pal, it's 1:00 in the afternoon, and I want to go home. Can you take your stuff and get lost." Cartobo says bluntly as SpongeBob blinked and nodded.
"Okay, but wait, where's Patrick?" Spongebob asked, feeling a little bit more sober as he looks around and notices that his best friend was nowhere to be seen. Cartobo winced for a moment as he frowns and loos away.
"He...uh...left," He said as SpongeBob, still dazed, raised an eyebrow at him.
"Okay. Welp, I have to-Wait, what?!" SpongeBob says before panicking as he realized something extremely important. "IT'S ONE IN THE AFTERNOON!? SHIT! I'M LATE FOR WORK!" SpongeBob screamed as he shot out of the restaurant, creating a small shockwave from how fast he was swimming as Cartobo watched him go with a sad frown.
"Poor guy," Cartobo says before shaking his head as he walked away to close up the restaurant. Meanwhile, with SpongeBob, we see him flying towards the Krusty Krab at top speed as he arrived at the restaurant and opened the doors.
"Sorry, I'm late, Mr. Krabs, I was-" SpongeBob says before shutting up as he realized that the restaurant was completely empty, no customers, no employees, not even Mr. Krabs was around. "Hello?" SpongeBob says with his voice echoing across the empty restaurant as he looks around in confusion. "Mr. Krabs? Helllooo?! Anyone in here?!" SpongeBob yelled, but one answered as he frowns and swims away.
"Patrick? Are you here, buddy?" SpongeBob asked while arriving at Patrick's house as he tries to search for his friend, but failed as he frowns worriedly. "Where is everybody?" SpongeBob asked himself as he swam away and went to check his neighborhood, but like before, all of the houses were empty. "Weird, no one's home," SpongeBob says before gasping as he swims away. Arriving at the training stables, SpongeBob notices that the place was empty as well as he panicked and went to search for his pet.
"Rainbow?! Rainbow?! Are you there, girl!?" SpongeBob asked scaredly as he went to Rainbow's stable and sighs in relief as he saw Rainbow sleeping on the ground as he went to hug her. "I'm so glad you're safe, girl." SpongeBob says happily as Rainbow wakes up and beams at the sight of her caretaker as she excitedly licks his face. "Ha, ha, I'm happy to see you too. Anyway, do you know where is everybody?" SpongeBob asked as Rainbow looks around, and shrugged as he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Okay, this is getting really weird. Let's go investigate." SpongeBob says as Rainbow nodded, and let SpongeBob mount her as they swam away. After three hours of searching, SpongeBob and Rainbow came to a dead end as they stopped by SpongeBob's house and were about to take a break when suddenly SpongeBob saw someone in the distance.
"Layri?" SpongeBob gasped as he saw a Brine-like Atlantean standing in the distance and swam over to him. The Brine-like Atlantean resembles a lot like Mr. Krabs, but with some several key differences like being a foot taller, and he had more Lobster Escue-like traits. His name is Layri, and he is one of the local trainers of the Arena. "Hey, Layri!" SpongeBob yelled as Layri jumps in surprise and turned to SpongeBob as he gasped.
"SpongeBob?" He said, shocked to see the bubbly Atleantean as he swam over to him and shared a quick hug. "It's great to see ya, man, but where did everyone go?" He asked while looking around as SpongeBob shrugs.
"I don't know, that's what me and rainbow are trying to find out. In fact, you're the first person we've seen in three hours!"
"Seriously?" Layri asked with a stunned look before regaining his composure as he gave his friend a serious. "Well, maybe it's best that you could use some help. Can rainbow carry a third passenger?" He asked as SpongeBob smirked and nodded.
"Heck, yeah, but first, let's check out my house to see if Ghary is there," SpongeBob says as Layri nodded, and they went into SpongeBob's house. "Ghary? Ghary, where are you, boy?" SpongeBob called out for his pet sea slug but didn't receive an answer as he frowned worriedly.
"Ghary?! Ghary?! Ghary!?" Spongebob shouted while searching frantically every nook and cranny of his house to find Ghary, but couldn't find him as he panicked. "Where's Ghary!?" SpongeBob asked while grabbing his head panickily as he seems to be hyperventilating. "Where is he?! Why can't I find him? Has he disappeared like everyone else? Was he kidnapped? Did he die-"
"SPONGEBOB, CALM DOWN!" Layri yelled while slapping his face as SpongeBob yelped and held his cheek as Layri gave him a comforting look. "SpongeBob listen to me, running around and screaming is not going to help us find Ghary, so take a deep breath and let's try to figure this out." He says as SpongeBob nodded shakily and took a deep breath.
"Alright, I'm calm now, thanks for that Layri." SpongeBob says as Layri nodded, and was about to say something when suddenly, SpongeBob spotted a piece of paper placed on the doorstep as he walked over to it and grabbed the paper.
"Dar SpongeBob, Ghary, eccc wit bee to Ron stuff, sigged Beeerick." SpongeBob reads as he smiled and sighs in relief. "Oh, good, Patrick wrote this note, and he took Ghary with him. Ghary's safe." SpongeBob says as Layri peered over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow at Patrick's handwriting, but didn't say anything as SpongeBob hides the note in his pockets. "So, what should we do now? We still haven't found anyone yet."
"Well, I already checked all of Reef Bottom, and I coudln't find anyone, so I don't know where else to-" Layri says before his eyes widen as he gasped in realization. "Wait! I think there's one more place that we can check. Follow me!" He says as SpongeBob nodded, and they mounted Rainbow as they swam off.
After a few minutes of swimming, Layri had guided to the very outskirts of the Atlantis borders as they entered a small in a coral and arrived at what seems to be a scientific observatory. It was a huge building, about fifteen feet high and looked like a combination of a coral reef and an oak tree. Many scientists have come here to study and perform multiple experiments, including the hybridization method for many of the Atlantean hybrids. But right now, it was empty as the rest of the town except for a few people and...
"Mr. Bastioone!" Layri and SpongeBob shouted in unison, happy to finally see someone as they looked up and a saw Brine-like Atlantean standing on top of a large tree as he looked down at them in surprise before smiling as he floated down.
"Greetings, SpongeBob, and Layri." Mr. Bastioone says with a thick Jamaican accent as SpongeBob and Layri looked up at the admittedly tall Atlantean as Mr. Bastioone stands at the height of 9'8. "What can I do for ya dis fine afternoon?"
"Mr. Bastioone, we have a problem. The entire town suddenly disappeared from sight! You were one of the few people that I managed to find besides Rainbow and Layri." SpongeBob says as Mr. Bastioone frowned worriedly.
"Ooh, my dat is quite peculiar. Well, I don't know how I can help, but me and the others will try our best to find the missing citizens."
"Thank you, sir, what can we do to help?"
"For now, I don't know if there is much you can do except to wait." Mr, Bastioone says as SpongeBob frowns, and the tall Brine hybrid smiled as he placed a comforting hand on SpongeBob's shoulders. "I'm sure everything is going to be fine, SpongeBob. There is no need to worry." He says reassuringly as SpongeBob smiled slightly but then frowned as he looked off into space.
"But, I just don't know how a whole city just disappeared like that. It's so bizarre." SpongeBob says as Mr. Bastioone nodded in agreement.
"I agree with you, my boy, but don't worry, we will have this whole mess straighten up. Shanzy! Set out the scouts to look for the missing citizens!" He yelled as a female Atlantean appeared and swam towards them. The female Atlantean is 5'6 with a curvaceous yet slim build, black eyes, a reptilian snout with two large incisor fangs, freckles on her cheeks, and a long tail with quills on the fins, making it look somewhat bushy. Her outfit consisted of a bronze swimsuit with golden armor on her shoulders, thighs, forearms, and forelegs. Her name is Shanzy, a Ratfish/Eel Atlantean hybrid, and Mr. Bastioone's assistant.
"Hello, everyone." She said with a soft voice as SpongeBob and Layri smiled.
"Hey, Shanzy." The boys greeted as Shanzy turns to Bastioone.
"Sir, I couldn't help but to eavesdropped on your conversation, and I've already sent out the scouts to look for the missing people."
"Good." Mr. Bastioone says while nodding in satisfaction as he then turned to the boys. "Now, then everyone, how about we all take some time to rest? I'm pretty sure you boys must be exhausted from your long journey." He says as the boys nodded and swam off to relax as Layri spent his times lifting wights, Rainbow was sleeping, and Shanzy was checking on the scouts to get a report on their progress. With SpongeBob, we see the bubbly Atleantan walking into a garden-like area as he sat on a bench, and sighs sadly.
"Is something wrong, my boy?" Bastioone asked while placing his claw on the boy's shoulder as SpongeBob gave a deadpanned look. "Sorry, dumb question. But it seems something is troubling you, SpongeBob. Come on, tell me what's wrong." He said as SpongeBob sighed and nodded as he looked up at the sky.
"Honestly, Mr. Bastioone, I'm sad that everyone is gone, but at the same time, a part of me wants to leave Reef Bottom, ya know?" SpongeBob asked as Mr. Bastioone frowns in confusion.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked warily as SpongeBob bits his lips nervously and looked down as he tightened his fists.
"I-I want to see more of the world, Mr. Bastioone. Once we find everyone, and I get Ghary back...I'm planning to move to the surface world." Everybody gasped at his statement as Layri accidentally snapped his weights in half, Shanzy covering her mouth in shock, several Atlanteans workers fainted, and one wolf-fish Atlantean hybrid barfed up ice magic that froze ground. Bastioone eyes widen in shock but then calmed down as he brought SpongeBob close to him, and gave him a serious look.
"SpongeBob, I know things may be difficult here, but the human world is a dangerous place. Humans poison our oceans and abuse the sea life! If they saw you, they would stuff you and put you on display like a trophy or worse, cut you up to pieces for 'science'." He explains as SpongeBob blinks in surprise.
"Really?" SpongeBob says as he nodded grimly.
"It's true, my boy." He says as SpongeBob still looks doubtful. "Here, how about I explain it through a song."

SpongeBob sang as he stared off into space with a dreamy look.
Bastioone: But that is a big mistake
Bastioone grabbed SpongeBob's face and forced him to look at him as the Brine-like Atlantean gave him a grim look.

Bastioone gestured to the garden and ocean floor as SpongeBob rolled his eyes.
SpongeBob: Yeah, sure.

Bastioone sane as a school of butterflyfishes swam around him, which made SpongeBob more annoyed than awed as he crosses his arms.

Bastioone sang as he begins dancing around SpongeBob as the bubbly Atlantean watched him dance with a raised eyebrow.

Bastioone then jumped up as he floated down next to Layri, who was playing a bunch of clams like they were bongo drums as he played to the rhythm of the song.

Bastioone /Layri: Down here all the fish is happy
As off through the waves, they roll
SpongeBob: The fish on the land seem happy
Bastioone: They sad ' cause they lose their cage
But fish in the bowl is lucky
Bastioone/Layri: They're in for a worser fate

SpongeBob says, trying to voice his annoyance, but Bastioone and Layri keep interrupting him as he groans.

Though he was amused when a swarm of mini anemone seahorses appeared as they swam around him.

Some giant slug-like Atlantean sang along as SpongeBob grew annoyed again and crossed his arms angrily.

Bastioone swam around further into the garden as other Atlanteans begin singing alongside him.

They get the urge 'n' start to play
During the middle of the song, a Sturgeon hybrid, and a Manta Ray hybrid bumped into each as they danced together and used several coral and annenome pieces as flutes and maracas as they played to the beat of the song.

Bastioone then played some giant clams as bongo drums.
Bastioone: The newt play the flute
A lizard-like newt Atlantean was playing a piece of coral like a flute as bubble blew out.
The carp play the harp
A carp-like Atlantean was playing a golden harp.
The plaice play the bass
And they soundin' sharp
A plaice Atlantean was drumming his fingers against several octopuses who wrapped their tentacle together.

Four bass-like Atlantans were playing coral shaped like tubas as a particular large bonked some tub coral.
The fluke is the duke of soul
Fish: Oh, yeah!
A fluke Atlantean played a tuba shaped piece of coral.
The ray he can play
A ray-like Atlantean was playing drumsticks against everything.
The lings on the strings
A ling-like Atlantean was holding a giant jellyfish and played its tentacles like violin strings.
The trout rockin' out
Three trout-like Atlanteans were break dancing.
The blackfish she sings
A blackfish-like Atlantean was singing like an opera singer.
The smelt and the sprat

A small pufferfish-like Atlantean blew some air into a tuba as it blew up twice it's size.

While everyone was dancing, Spongebob was watching everything with an annoyed look as he rolled his eyes and swam away.

They all gestured towards SpongeBob, only to see that he left as they blinked in surprise.
SpongeBob swam off to a balcony-like structure that looked over the entire city of Reef Bottom at night as he placed his arms on the railings and sighed as he stared off into space.
"SpongeBob?" A voice called out to him as he turned around and saw that it was Shanzy as the fish lady was staring at him with a rather serious look.
"What?"
"You were serious earlier, weren't you? About wanting to live on the surface world?" She asked calmly, already knowing the answer as SpongeBob nodded determinedly.
"More than I have ever been before," SpongeBob said firmly as he crossed his arms and looked down with an annoyed look. "Bastioone can not just sing a happy song and tell me to forget about it."
"SpongeBob, honestly, I understand how you feel." She says, surprising SpongeBob as she walked over to him. "Working here had made me realized that there is so much of the ocean that we haven't explored yet. Just like there is so much of the surface world that we haven't discovered yet. So, I get what you're going through more or less." She says as SpongeBob stared at her in shock before smiling as he hugged her.
"Thank you, Shanzy," SpongeBob says in gratitude as she smiled and hugged him back.
"Your welcome," Shanzy says before letting him go as she gave him a guilty look. "I just wish I could do more to help you."
"Don't worry, Shanzy, you helped enough-what the?" SpongeBob says before catching something at the corner of his eyes as he saw a large red submarine swimming to an unknown destination. "What the heck is that? It's that one of the scout ships?" SpongeBob asked while pointing at the submarine as Shanzy turns around and narrows her eyes at it suspiciously.
"No, it's not," Shanzy says as SpongeBob watched it go curiously and smiled.
"Well, whatever it is, I'm going to check it out," SpongeBob says as he swam off, and follows after the submarine.
"SpongeBob, wait!" Shanzy called out as she tried to stop him, but it was too late as he was gone. "Damm, I better alert the others. SpongeBob could be in danger." Shanzy before swimming off to call the others as she hoped that SpongeBob would be safe.
Speaking off, we see SpongeBob following after the submarine as the large aquatic machine swam towards what seems to be a subway station and parked inside. This subway station was bigger than an entire football stadium as the whole town could stand inside on the waiting flatforms and not be cramped. Confused, SpongeBob flew into the subway station as he landed on the ground and swam over to the submarine as he knocked on the door. After a few minutes of awkward silence, the doors opened to reveal all of the citizens of Reef Bottom, including SpongeBob's friends, as they stared at him with various emotions of shock, nervousness, fear, and even slight anger. Everyone then swam out and then the whole station was packed.
"Squidward? Mr. Krabs? Patrick? Guys, you're all here!" SpongeBob yelled excitedly before frowning in confusion as he raised an eyebrow. "Wait a minute, why were you guys in that submarine? And why did you bring everyone in the city with you, guys?" SpongeBob asked as everyone remained silent, not knowing what to say as Squidward turned to Patrick and glared at him.
"I thought you said he was supposed to be knocked out for the entire day?"Squidward snarled as Patrick shrugged
"He was knocked out cold the last time I saw him. I didn't know that he was going to wake up so soon." Patrick says as SpongeBob tilted his head confusedly at him.
"Guys, I'm really confused here. Can you all explain to me what's going on?" SpongeBob asked as a familiar voice spoke up.
"That's exactly, what I would like to know too," Bastioone says coldly while appearing on the scene with the others as Mr. Krabs glared at him.
"Bastioone, it's good to see you again, big brother," Eugene says with an annoyed look as Bastioone glared back.
"It's good to see you too again, little brother," Bastioone replied. "Now, I would love to catch up with you, but I'm afraid de boy asked you all a question." He said as Eugene narrow his eyes at him before turning to the confused SpongeBob as his face softens, and he walked over to the bubbly Atlantean as he kneeled down to his height and placed his claw on his shoulder.
"Listen, SpongeBob, it's not easy to tell you this, but first, I need you to stay calm and not freak out." Mr. Krabs says as SpongeBob gave him a deadpanned look.
"I think it's a little late for that, Mr. Krabs. You, alongside the city, were gone for an entire day! Do you realize how worried I was for you all? I searched the whole city to find you guys, and suddenly the entire population shows up in a submarine? What's going on, Mr. Krabs?" SpongeBob asked as Eugene sighed and rubbed his neck as he looked away nervously.
"Well...uh...its...look, I'm not gonna lie, kid. We were attending the new national 'No SpongeBob day' festival." He says bluntly as SpongeBob stared at him disbelief.
"…Excuse me?" SpongeBob asked with an emotionless look as Bastioone, and the others stared at Mr. Krabs and the citizens of Reef Bottom in shock/disgust.
"We were celebrating a whole day dedicated to getting away from you. Sorry that you had to find out about it the hard way, my boy." Mr. Krabs answered truthfully as SpongeBob continued staring at him in disbelief, not knowing what to say.
SpongeBob then looked at Patrick, his best friend in the whole world, although the look he was giving was anything but friendly.
"Sorry buddy, but at some point, everyone needs one day away from dahahahahhahahhaaaaaaaa!" Patrick says while making a poor imitation of SpongeBob's laugh as the crowd snickered. Tears welled up in SpongeBob's eyes as Shanzy stared at the crowd in disgust before gasping as she spotted another Eel/Ratfish Atlantean in the crowd. The hybrid looks similar to Shanzy, except slightly taller, and wears a bulky suit of armor. Her name is Sandaya, Shenzy's sister.
"Sandaya, you too? Are you serious?" Shenzy asked in disbelief as she shrugs.
"What can I say, Shanz, I don't hate the guy, but he's a bit too much to handle at times," Sandaya replied stoically as Squidward scoffed.
"Pfft, understatement of the year if you ask me," Squidward says while glaring at SpongeBob as he marched over to him. "SpongeBob, you're the most annoying person in the world. You constantly shout, 'I'm ready!', every day like a broken record, you play with jellyfish like a damm child, and you won't stop bothering me whenever I try to relax, but of course you're too stupid to realize that I don't want to hang out with you because I hate you so much, SpongeBob!" Squidward yelled angrily as SpongeBob's shrank back from his yell, and his lip began quivering as Rainbow notice this and snarled at Squidward as he stepped back, intimidated.
"Meow." SpongeBob eyes widen as he looked towards the source of the familiar sound, desperately hoping that he was wrong, and gasped as he spotted Ghary standing with the crowd.
"Ghary…" SpongeBob whispered softy while kneeling down on his knees as he stared at Ghary with tears rolling down his face.
"Cheer up, boy-o, it's not the worst thing in the world." Mr. Krabs says while placing his claw on his shoulder, but SpongeBob didn't react to his touch as he continued staring at everyone in disbelief.
"Yeah, you should feel proud, man. It's a day dedicated to you." Patrick says dumbly as SpongeBob slowly looked up to him with shadows covering his eyes. "First, we build a giant wooden version of you, then we burn it to the ground, and finally, we dance on the ashes like there was no tomorrow!" He finished with a huge smile as everyone in the observatory stared at them with gobsmacked looks as they couldn't believe how despicable the people of Reef Bottom really are, and we're about to speak up, but then a small voice spoke up.
"Who do you think you are?" SpongeBob asked as everyone turned to him and saw the hybrid Atlantean standing up as he slowly walked over to his so-called friends.
"Excuse me?" Mr. Krabs asked as SpongeBob's face suddenly shot up, and everyone gasped as they saw SpongeBob's face red with fury.
"WHO IN THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?" He screamed at the top of his lungs, startling everyone around him as he growled angrily. "WHAT IN THE FUCKING HELL HAVE I DONE TO WARRANT THIS KIND OF FUCKING BULLSHIT, HUH?! SO, WHAT IF I'M 'ANNOYING', OR, 'IMMATURE' AT TIMES?! WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT? FUCK YOU GUYS!" He shouted before turning to a shocked Patrick as he pointed at him angrily.
"And, you, you were supposed to be my best friend, and yet you caused me more pain than any of my enemies could. And, what's worse is that this isn't the first time that you screwed me over. Remember that toy that I bought with MY money so that we can play with it together and yet you won't share it with me because you are a selfish prick! And, you got me in trouble at school! You made me fail my magic test 57 times!" SpongeBob shouted as Bastioone, Shanzy, and some of the teachers glared at Patrick.
"You woke me up in the middle of the night to steal a rocket for you, you've insulted and embarrassed me in front of people who you thought were your parents by calling me stupid. Do you really think I'm dumber than you? You couldn't even recognize your own damm parents! You've never appreciated my staycation ideas which is just you being lazier than ever, you lost your shit when I forgot to give you a valentine present, you almost burned my slug to death, dumped all the hard work onto me when we adopted that baby sea serpent. And when I got a crystal stuck in my thumb, you 'helped' me by jamming it in further into to my thumb! It was pussing over, I could've gotten an infection!" He yelled as the crowd groans in disgust, and their faces went green as some of them even puked.
"When I was stuck in a drying ring, you 'helped' me by putting glue in it and took me to an amusement park where I got a black eye by a baseball when I was playing catch with you. And, oh yeah, apparently you've FUCKING ABANDONED ME TO GO OFF ON A FUCKING RAVE ABOUT HATING ME!" He screamed as Patrick's lip begin quivering and cries. Rolling his eyes at him, SpongeBob turned to Eugene and glared at him hatefully as he walked over to him.
"YOU!" He yelled while pointing at him as Eugene took a couple of steps back in shock. "You are the worst piece of shit of a boss in the whole FUCKING OCEAN!" SpongeBob screamed as everyone gasped while the workers of the Krusty Crab nodded in agreement, thinking that it was about time that someone said something about it. "When you have a mid-life crisis, what do you do? Go talk to people your age? Go to a fucking therapist like a sane person would? No, instead, you talked me and Patrick, two 16-year-old teenagers, into going on a PANTY RAID!" He shouted as everyone gasped, especially the women as they glared at him furiously, and he laughs nervously.
"Oh, and it doesn't end there, you stole your own secret Krabby Patty ingredient and then framed me for it, so you could avoid paying the fucking delivery fee. You also made all of your employees work 24/7 with no breaks, which led me to develop a phobia of Krabby Patties for fuck sake! And, you made me write horribly shitty fake stories about everyone in town and when that went into a bust, you made me counterfeit money! You even grave robbed to get a novelty hat for money! You've even told me, to my face, that if you were sent to Davy Jones locker, you would exchange my soul for yours...for only fucking 65 cents!"
"When I got jellyfish jelly for the patties, you squeezed, stretched, and juiced them for their jelly, torturing the poor animals for money. When you tried to sell Clayvaba's artworks, you heard that it would be worth more if he was dead, so you actually tried to commit murder! You do all of these horrible things because of your stupid obsession for money you cheap, evil, uncaring, bastard!" SpongeBob shouted while panting in anger as Mr. Krabs looks at everyone's shocked, horrified, and disgusted looks, and sweated nervously as he was about to defend himself. When suddenly, Bastioone runs at him and punches him to the ground as he gave his brother a cold look.
"Eugene, growing up, I've always known that you weren't an honorable man, but after hearing all of the horrible things that you've done in your life. It made me realize that you're nothing but a disgusting, greedy, murderous, MONSTER!" He roared in fury as he was about to punch him again, but got stopped by SpongeBob as he gave Bastioone a serious look.
"I wasn't finished yet." He says as Bastioone nodded and stepped aside as SpongeBob turned to Mr. Krabs, who was nursing his broken nose.
"I quit, Eugene," SpongeBob says, surprising everyone as SpongeBob crossed his arms. "And without me, your business will flop. We both know that your nothing without me because I'm the only one that actually does any work around here."
"He's telling the truth!" The shark man who ate the burnt patty in the last chapter shouted as the SpongeBob employees look down guiltily.
"S-SpongeBob, let's be reasonable." Mr. Krabs says while standing up as SpongeBob glared at him emotionlessly. "You're my best employee, you can't just quit."
BOOOM!
Mr. Krabs grunted in pain as he fell on the ground and grabs his bruised cheek as he looked up and gasped as he saw that it was SpongeBob who punched him as he glared at his former boss.
"I just did." He says before turning to Squidward as he glared at him, and the squid-like Atlantean glared back defiantly. "Squidward, your clarinet skills are terrible, your laugh is irritating as hell, and whenever you're not out practicing, you're sleeping on the job, rude to the customers, and yet, you act like you're the best student around, but we both know that's not true. Right, guys?" SpongeBob asked as everyone sighed, but nodded in agreement as Squidward jaw dropped in disbelief. "I rest my case." He says smugly as Squidward growled at him, but SpongeBob wasn't intimidated as he kneeled down to Ghary's height and gave him an angry/betrayed look.
"Ghary, you were one of my best friends. I found you on the streets, I fed you, bathed you and gave you a home, and this is how you repay me? Well, have fun finding a new home, you ungrateful pest." SpongeBob says as Ghary meowed sadly and had a remorseful/guilty look on his face as Rainbow snarled at him. Before huffing as she figured that he wasn't worth her wrath and looked away from him.
"Ask yourselves this…" SpongeBob says while walking towards the center of the station as he crossed his arms and gave them a hardened look. "...am I really the most annoying person in the world? Have I ever hurt or offended you that much that you would do something so heinous?" He asked before turning to a small family as the mother and child flinched at his glare while the father jumped in front of them protectively. "Have I done anything to you or your family to deserve this?"
"...No." The father admitted guiltily as the guards swam in front of SpongeBob and tried to calm the angry Atlantean down.
"S-SpongeBob, just calm down, alrig-"
"NO, I WILL NOT!" SpongeBob screamed while twisting his body around as he transformed into a giant, humanoid Colossal Squid. "Listen up because I'm going to say this only once! I am who I am because it's who I want to be, and if you can't accept that, then...I'm leaving!" SpongeBob shouted with tears in his eyes as he grabbed the transport sub with his tentacles and dragged it out of the station as he tossed it into some rock formation as it blew up. Everyone jaws dropped in shock/horror as SpongeBob sniffed and transformed back to normal as he swam off at speeds rivaling a torpedo and left a shockwave that pushed everyone back.
"SpongeBob, wait!" Shanzy yelled, but it was too late as he was too far away to listen to her. Thinking quickly, Shanzy called over for Rainbow as the loyal sea horse swam over to her and allowed Shanzy to mount her.
"Shanzy-" Sandaya says, but shut up at the sight of Shanzy glaring at her as she stepped back and allowed Shanzy to swam off with Rainbow as they tried their best to catch up with the fleeing SpongeBob.
"What did I do to deserve this?" SpongeBob asked quietly while crying as he closed his eyes, and his body began glowing, brightening the dark waters. "Why do they hate me so much? Why?...why?...why?...WWWWHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY!" SpongeBob screamed loudly as his body glowed bright as the sun and produced a shockwave that caused the ocean to rise around him. Leaving him in the center of a dry ocean as the water returned back, and SpongeBob fell on the ground as he teared up. "Why?" He whispered softly as he begins crying.
"SpongeBob..." Shanzy says, arriving with Rainbow as SpongeBob turned to them with tears streaming down his face. "I'm so sorry, SpongeBob," Shanzy says as she jumps out of Rainbow's saddle, and swam over to SpongeBob as she hugs him. "I'm so sorry." She says with tears in her eyes as SpongeBob sobs.
"I can't live here anymore, Shanzy. I just...can't." SpongeBob says softly as Shazny wiped away his tears and gave him a determined look.
"Then go. Leave this place and go find a better life in the surface world." She said while kissing his forehead as SpongeBob nodded, and Rainbow swam over to him as he mounted on her. "And, remember, don't change for anyone," Shanzy says as SpongeBob nodded firmly and looked off into the horizon as he tightened his grip on Rainbow's reins.
"Let's go," SpongeBob says with cold hard determination as he snapped Rainbow's reins, and they took off.
"May Poseidon be with you, SpongeBob," Shanzy says before swimming back as she wished him good luck in his new life. A couple of hours have passed, and it was nearing night time as we see SpongeBob riding Rainbow through the sea and approached the nearest coast as they stopped just before they reached the shallow end of the water. SpongeBob sighed as he got off Rainbow and hugged her tearfully.
"Goodbye, girl, I will never forget you. You were the best pet an Atlantean could ask for. I will always love you, Rainbow." SpongeBob says as Rainbow neighed sadly and licked him goodbye. Turning around, Rainbow gave her friend one last look, who nodded as she neighs and shot off back towards the vast deep. Wiping off his tears, SpongeBob turned around and glared determinedly as he crouches down and, with a mighty grunt, SpongeBob jumps out of the ocean as he landed on the beach and looks up as he gasped.
"Whoa!" SpongeBob says as he stares at the beautiful sight of Metropolis with awe before smiling as he gains a determined look. "Well, this is my new life now. Whatever you have in store for me, surface world, I'm ready." SpongeBob says before taking a step forwards to his new life as he slowly walked out of the beach and entered the city.
