Intro

Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)

I do not own "Good Girls", it belongs to its original creator Jenna Bans and NBC. Nor do I own "Graceland"; it belongs to showrunner Jeff Eastin. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.

Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.

If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me.

I will be writing out scenes even if my Oc isn't in them. As long as she's mentioned, or influencing the characters in some way. Or maybe because it influences the story. This may seem a bit annoying. But that's just how I write. I like to embed my characters into the story line. Because of this, most of the dialogue/scenes will come from the original work.

Warning: Kind of Angsty, Star crossed lovers, FBI/Crime Lord, Violence, Gun, Blood, Cursing, Beth Bashing (Only Beth - Not Ruby and Annie to), Drugs, Kissing, Moring Afters Mentions of sex (I think… likely to show up), (All I can think of for now)

Julia 'Jewel' Briggs was not happy having to move from her home at Graceland, all the way to Michigean just because some idiot on a desk, wanted to stay behind said desk, and had thus requested an undercover agent, her for some god forsaken reason.

That moved her life a solid -3 down in her books

And then, imagine her surprise when the said idiot refuses to give her any information on her target, sending her in completely blind.

So she isn't allowed her gun, has no backup as a result of uncompetent coworkers, and has no idea who her target is?

Sum it all up and you can add a solid -10 to the scale

Then her cover gets blown, because guess what?

Turns out the Big Boss was her ex, who, turns out, has been faking his frickin death for the past 5 YEARS!

Yeah, let's just destroy the positive side of her scale all together, because everything good in her life, even her sacred memories have officially been obliterated by this single mission.

"Don't even think about it. Even if you somehow manage to kill her, you'll have an entire house full of officers, with all shorts of connections, both good and bad on your ass. And you wouldn't even be able to rest it here, because I'd be first in line to put a bullet between your eyes."

Both their eyes widened with denial and disbelief.

Her's, unable to believe that the man she loved and thought had died, was standing right in front of her.

Him, unable to come to terms with the fact that the woman he loved was sitting right before, seeing what he had become.

His heart nearly shattered as he watched her piece together his lie and see the devil he had become.

Denial, Disbelief, Anger… and the one that put the final nail in the coffin for his heart, sadness.

His breath caught in his lungs as he saw tears begin to well up at the corner of his eyes. He raised his hand, about to wipe them away, only for her to turn her head to the side, in an effort to move away. To get away… from him.

"Jewel..." He called, barely above a whisper.

That single name, connected to so many emotions and memories. Hearing him speak it, broke the dam of her will, and unleashed the flood of emotions trapped in her for the past five years.

"No. We're not back where we started. We're on completely different sides of the line."

Arcade

By Duncan Laurence

Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

A broken heart is all that's left

I'm still fixing all the cracks

Lost a couple of pieces when

I carried it, carried it, carried it home

I'm afraid of all I am (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

My mind feels like a foreign land (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

Silence ringing inside my head (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

Please, carry me, carry me, carry me home

I've spent all of the love I saved

We were always a losing game

Small-town boy in a big arcade

I got addicted to a losing game

Oh, oh-oh-oh oh

Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh

All I know, all I know

Loving you is a losing game

How many pennies in the slot? (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

Giving us up didn't take a lot (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

I saw the end 'fore it begun (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

Still I carried, I carried, I carried on (oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)

Oh, oh-oh-oh oh

Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh

All I know, all I know

Loving you is a losing game

Oh, oh-oh-oh oh

Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh

All I know, all I know

Loving you is a losing game

I don't need your games, game over

Get me off this rollercoaster

Oh, oh-oh-oh oh

Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh

All I know, all I know

Loving you is a losing game

Oh, oh-oh-oh oh

Oh, oh-oh-oh, oh

All I know, all I know

Loving you is a losing game

Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh

Sorry about the bad summary, I had a certain image in my head that I wanted to create. And I clearly failed.

Fun Fact - Jewel is the name of the Female Lead, in the cartoon movie Rio.
