Somewhere in Japan…
An important event has ended…
The fifty-third season of Danganronpa was over…
And it would be the last…
Against all odds, fiction managed to change reality, and the outside world no longer wanted Danganronpa…
They did not vote, and the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles was destroyed by Keebo, who sacrificed himself.
The three survivors were out of the ruins of the Academy and stared at the open sky.
Shuichi Saihara…
Maki Harukawa…
And Himiko Yumeno.
Out of the sixteen students who were forced to participate in this killing game, only three of them survived.
But they did survive, and now, they would face the outside world, for the sake of everyone who died.
This is where we begin our new life… Where I, Shuichi Saihara, begin my new life…
« So… This is it. » I spoke.
« Yes, it is time we get out of this hellhole. » Maki sighed in relief.
« Are we going to survive out of there ? What if we learned about the Tragedy was actually true, and Tsumugi pretended it was all fiction ? » Himiko asked in worry.
« Then we will fight to survive, like we always did. » Maki smiled at her to recomfort her.
« Yes, we have to. For our friends, we must not let their deaths be in vain. » I nodded at that.
Then, suddenly, we saw a line of light in the sky.
« Woaaahh ! Was that a shooting star ? » Himiko slowly began to feel happier as she saw the astronomical element passing by, pointing at it, as she was amazed by it.
« Well, make a wish, Maki ! » I told her.
« No, you should do it. » She shook her head.
« Huh ? Why me ? » I asked.
« It's all thanks to you we made it this far. Now, quick ! Make a wish ! » She told me.
« Ok… I wish… » I quickly thought of a wish, but it was not an easy task.
After a bit, I knew what to wish for.
« I wish that everyone could be here to see this… To see what we have accomplished… And to face the outside world with us, and see how we have changed it. » I spoke.
« I wish that too. I wish Kaito was here with us to see it. » Maki smiled.
« And Tenko and Angie too ! » Himiko wished too.
Everyone felt happy again. With the memories of their friends in their minds, they could advance forward.
« Anyway, let's face the outside world, together. » I told them.
But then, as we approached the light in front of them…
Something felt odd within me…
« Shuichi ? Are you ok ? » Maki asked me in worry.
« I feel… dizzy… » I held my head, as I tried not to fall.
« M-me too… » Himiko was in the same state.
« H-hold onto me, you both… » Maki grabbed us to make sure we wouldn't fall, as she felt the same effects too.
« H-hey… Is the light getting brighter… ? » Himiko asked, as she kept blinking her eyes.
It was true… It was nearly blinding us…
« I-I… » I tried to speak, but my vision went blurry, then black.
I felt passing out, and little did I know, but so were Maki and Himiko too.
