Kailash was laying on his bed mulling over his current situation, he had only become a full fledged Knight some months ago and now so soon the Council had sent him off to the outer-rim to investigate suspicious pirate activity. He supposed that this was a lesson to teach him about treading on certain Master's toes, still it gave him a chance to to experience the peaceful feeling in the force that hyperspace travel gave to him that he so rarely got to experience in his time as a padawan, but something was different this time instead of being like a calm body of water the force had a ripple a disturbance in it ever so faint like it was trying to be hidden but before he could probe it or it him, he was suddenly thrown from his bed as the ship violently shook and was followed by the distant sound of a explosion. Shaking his head, Kailash stood up using the force to bring his lightsaber to him, staring at it made him remember the fond memories of back in the Jedi temple of when he always used to come top of his duelling class and the smile Master Dooku used to give him when he won shaking his head again reminiscing in the past would have to wait first he had to find out what was happening to the ship.

Grabbing a small bag of supplies, Kailash made his way out of his room and into the corridor of the ship, as he did the lights flickered out as another explosion rocked the ship, after a few tense seconds the emergency lights blared to light basking everything in a red hue as the intercom crackled to life.

"The reactor is compromised. I repeat the reactor is compromised, all systems are critical if you can hear this message then get to the escape pods there isn't much time left before this ship explodes," pleaded a frantic man who Kailash guessed was the Captain of the vessel.

Wasting no time Kailash ran for the closest escape pod. Finding one he quickly pressed the panel to open it and took a seat inside. To his surprise a blonde-haired woman sat opposite to him who he didn't feel in the force beforehand. She was wearing a beautiful form fitting purples dress and was adorned with golden jewellery but given the situation she looked rather calm.

"You're the Jedi aboard I presume?" Said the woman looking up at him revealing her piercing yellow eyes.

Kailash sat for a moment, unable to find his words, his mission was secret. How did she know he was a Jedi, coughing to clear his throat he replied.

"Yes I am Jedi Knight Kailash Shin,"putting his hand out "and you are?" He asked.

"I am Camrosa Leomak the only daughter of the King Titus of the outer rim planet Eldalis and the sole heir to the throne" replied Camrosa shaking Kailash's hand.

"A pleasure, your highness, it is a shame we could not have met under better circumstances," said Kailash, bowing his head.

"Indeed it is" replied Camrosa smiling at him like a Hunter would when something walks into its trap.

Kailash felt a bit uneased by the woman he stared at her for a few moments longer, she definitely had the air of nobility and entitlement much like senators and politicians who visit the Temple but there was something else, something more something he hadn't felt before and it wasn't her remarkable beauty. If she had noticed his eyes lurking on her a bit longer then they should have, she didn't say anything.

A countdown began in the pod and when the timer hit zero the door to the escape pod slammed shut and the pod was jettisoned from the ship and left floating in the vacuum of space for a brief moment before shaking as its engines ignited, hurtling them towards the planet below. As they entered the planet's atmosphere the pod began to shake more violently. Kailash had to put his hands on each side of the pod to brace himself and Camrosa did the same, after a few minutes the shaking vanished meaning they had made it safely through the atmosphere.

Looking out the window Kailash saw that the backup thrusters had not activated meaning they were in for an unpleasant landing. Reaching out with force Kailash tried to slow their descent to little effect but in the last moments he felt another in the force much stronger than him then as quickly as it appeared it was gone as the pod crashed into the ground causing Kailash to smash his head against the inside of the pod.

The next thing he saw when he opened his eyes was a beautiful blue sky and a breeze brush across his face, shooting to his feet. Kailash saw that Camrosa had dragged him from the pod, looking around to thank her Kailash was met by the sight of her resting against a fallen tree, blaster in hand waiting for him.

"Good to see you're not dead," said Camrosa

"Same to you, but where did you find that?" Asked Kailash, pointing towards the blaster.

"A lady can never be too careful in this part of the galaxy, but you should be more concerned about yourself," replied Camrosa pointing to the side of Kailash's head.

Puzzled as to what she meant, Kailash raised his hand to the side of his head and gingerly felt a wet feeling over his fingers, pulling them away and looking at his hand it was covered in blood.

"This is nothing I can't deal with. I can't even feel it. We should get moving head to the main crash site and hopefully find some more supplies while we wait for rescue, that will be where the rescue party searchers first" replied Kailash heading in the direction of the smoke in the distance from the recently crashed wreckage.

"We're not going anywhere until your wound is treated," said Camrosa, stepping in Kailash's way.

"It's nothing we're wast…

"There is a legend on my Planet of a beast the size of a mountain that terrorised the early settlers for generations, but a brave young warrior went to face the beast and try as might all he could do was scratch the beast before he was killed, but after the battle, the beast wasn't seen or heard from for years until a search party went to find what happened to it, when they found the beast it was long dead the single insignificant scratch the young boy had struck had become infected slowly killing the beast from within." Said Camrosa tearing a chuck of her dress off. "So it may seem like nothing at the moment, but it could lead to your untimely death." Finished, Camrosa leaning towards Kailash

"May I?" Asked Camrosa .

Kailash nodded, lowering his head to make it easier for her.

Camrosa gently wrapped her torn piece of dress around his head covering his wound before tying a knot to keep it in place.

"It's not a Bacta patch but it should stop you from ending up like the beast." Said Camrosa stepping away from Kailash.

"Thank you" replied Kailash, giving a faint smile and a nod of the head. "Now let's get moving, it's getting dark,"

Trekking through the forest of the planet an uneasy silence reigned over the pair, only interrupted by the odd animal call. Kailash couldn't believe what had happened, he was here on this god forsaken rock because he had found himself on the wrong side of some Masters so they sent him away to reflect and teach him a lesson, a lesson he knew he would learn but maybe not the one they wanted after all the he was sure the Council didn't want this to happen to him surely, brushing such thoughts from his mind Kailash turned to Camrosa.

"It's getting too dark, we should probably find somewhere to rest until morning. We don't know what creatures come out at night on this planet" suggested Kailash.

"You're right, I saw a cave of some sort just up ahead when it was lighter,'' replied Comrosa pointing off into the distance.

After making it safely inside the cave, Kailash used the force to pull some branches and logs from the forest into the rough centre lighting them with his sabre causing the wood to catch on fire. Fire blazing, the pair sat opposite each other, a silence reigning over them.

"So what was a Princess and heir to a Planet doing on a second rate run down transport ship?" Asked Kailash.

Camrosa stared at Kailash for a few moments pondering her answer.

"The same thing you were trying to do," replied Camrosa .

"And what was I trying to do?"

"You were trying to go somewhere without anybody knowing, trying to be someone else," replied Camrosa.

Kailash let out an inaudible sigh she had masterfully avoided confirming or denying how she knew he was a Jedi, but two could play at that game.

"I see very perceptive of you, and who is it you're trying to be, who are you trying to get away from?" countered Kailash smiling.

Camrosa looked up from the fire meeting Kailash's eyes with her piercing yellow eyes.

"My Father, I'm running from my Father" closing her eyes and looking back to the fire

Kailash could feel her emotions swirling within the force like a raging storm of love, sadness, passion but as the storm calmed only one was left and by far it was the strongest, most powerful one. Anger.

"Camrosa I...

"Don't be sorry, you wanted to know. My Father had always been disappointed that I wasn't a son and blames me for my mother's death, no matter what I do. It's never enough for him, never" Camrosa interrupted letting out a single tear stream down her face.

"Enough about me, why are you out here Jedi?" Said Comroas wiping away the single tear.

"I was tasked with a mission by Council to keep track of pirate movements in the outer rim not like that matters right now"

"There's something else isn't there?" Asked Camrosa.

How did she know, he couldn't feel any activity in force so how did she know?

"It's nothing to be concerned about, I'm very good at reading people," added Camrosa, giving Kailash another devilish smile.

Letting out a sigh Kailash got up and looked out the cave towards the twin moons.

"I wasn't exactly the most popular padawan even my Master didn't like me even if she hid it well, I even earned the nickname the white wolf with other padawans because of my hair how everyone avoided me, so in our duelling lessons I naturally went to far and injured some of the other padawans and insulted their masters they clearly remembered that and got me sent all the way out here," replied Kailash turning around to face Camrosa.

"We are more alike than you know, both outcasts in a system that never truly wanted us." Replied Comrosa, giving a weary smile.

"Perhaps you are right Princess, but you should get some rest. I'll keep watch until the morning in case anything dangerous does live on this planet." Said Kailash

"Thank you, Jedi"

Sitting down where he was standing in the mouth of the cave staring back up to the twin moons he closed his eyes trying to mediate, but the same ripple was still distracting him, but something else, something dark like a shadow cast itself over the force and he felt something reach out to him.

"Kailash" whispered a raspy through the force

Sweat forming on his brow Kailash tried to break the connection but he couldn't pull or wouldn't pull himself away.

"No need to run, deeper in the cave the lesson you're looking for you will find" whispered the voice again.

Coming out his mediation Kailash shot to his feet letting the nights cool air wash over him, letting out a deep breath Kailash ignited his lightsaber using it as torch he made his way to back of the cave and further into it until the rough and natural stone of the cave walls slowly began turning into chiselled and once polished stone, following the path Kailash came into an abandoned room, dust and spiderwebs and fallen debris covered the entirety of it, but in the centre was an impossibly clean pedestal on which sat what looked to be a Holocron and a small box. Kailash made his way to the pedestal making sure he didn't set off any ancient trap waiting for him. Picking up the Holocron, Kailash studied it and recognised it from what he had read in the archives. It was a Sith Holocron deciding it was best he quickly placed it in his bag,and turned his attention to the box that he reached fur and flipped the latches open, revealing a single lightsaber hilt resting inside, hesitantly Kailash reached for the hilt taking it out of the box to examine it, the hilt was one of the best he'd ever seen expertly crafted and perfectly balanced so balanced he couldn't resist giving it a few swings before staring down at it in curiosity Kailash ignited the blade its crimson colour filling the room confirming that the Holocron was indeed Sith.

"Inside the Holocron the lessons you seek," called the mysterious voice again.

"Who are you, what are you?" Asked Kailash frantically looking around the room.

If the voice was going to answer him, it was interrupted by a scream coming from the way he came, realising he'd left Camrosa alone he ran back through the abandoned structure and back out to the cave, to see Camrosa struggling to fight some creature off herself.

Stretching his arm out, he wrapped the creature in the force and raised it off her, and with a flick of his wrist he threw it into the opposite wall, the creature making a gut-wrenching sound as its bones shattered on impact.

"Camrosa are you alright?" Asked Kailash Running over to check on her.

"Yes, yes I'm fine you don't need to worry about me" replied Camrosa waving Kailash away.

Turning around to make sure no more creatures were coming he reasoned the fire had drawn it.

"The fire probably drew its attention best if we put it out, there's no telling if something bigger will want to have a look." Reasoned Kailash.

"The fire is the only thing keeping us warm," said Camrosa , getting to her feet.

"It will get cold, but it shouldn't be life-threatening and being cold beats getting mauled by a rabid creature don't you think". replied Kailash, unclipping his outer robe "Here, it should keep you warm throughout the night." Said Kailash giving the robe to Camrosa.

"Thank you" replied Camrosa blushing ever so slightly and wrapping it around her shoulders.

"I'll see you in the morning," added Kailash, turning to the cave's entrance.

"Aren't you going to get some rest too?" Asked Camrosa

"I can wait until we reach the crash site tomorrow" replied Kailash.

Waiting until he was sure Camrosa had fallen back to sleep, Kailash pulled the Holocron out from his robe placing it in front of him.

What lessons would it hold, what answer could it have, reaching his arm out he began the process to open the Holocron he felt the outer shell begin to move, but a moment of doubt crept into him maybe some knowledge was best not known, when the Order rescued him they would no doubt know he opened the Holocron and there's no telling what they would do to him so he decided to Put the Holocron back in his robes and attach the saber to his belt Kailash crossed his legs placing his hands on his knees and began meditating to clear his head and enhance his senses so he could feel around him what he could not see even though the ripple still distracted him.

Across from him Camrosa smiled knowing he couldn't resist the temptations of the Holocron for long.

With morning light blazing on Kailash he felt the warmth of the sun shining on him, opening his eyes revealing the sun rising on the horizon. Kailash uncrossed his legs and got to his feet, looking over to Camrosa Kailash noticed she was already up and leaning against the wall staring at him.

"This feels a lot like the first time we met," said Kailash, laughing to himself.

"Are you ready to get moving?" Asked Camrosa crossing her arms.

"Yea, we should be able to make the main crash site today if we move quickly," replied Kailash.

Making their way through the forest again it wasn't long before they stumbled into a clearing where another escape pod had crashed.

Walking up to the pod Kailash noticed several blaster marks scattered on the surrounding trees and even a few on the pod itself.

"Looks like however this was, they didn't have as much luck as we did with that creature," said Kailash looking into the pod, finding the mauled body of one of the crew inside.

"No but we only ran into one, looks like this was a pack of them making it much harder to deal with" replied Camrosa .

"And how would you know that?" Asked Sebastian, grabbing a bag of rations from inside the pod.

"Taking from the dead, that doesn't seem very Jedi of you?" Mocked Camrosa .

"He doesn't need them anymore, Jedi or not, it would be a waste to leave them." Replied Kailash.

Strapping the bag to his belt, Kailash turned to Camrosa.

"How long have you been a Princess, since you seem to have trouble acting like one'" jibed Kailash.

"Princess or not, it would be a waste to not use my natural charm, don't you agree?" replied Camrosa

Looking each other in the eyes the pair let out a small chuckle

A few more hours of making their way through the forest the pair arrived at the outskirts of the crash site, where several small fires were still raging among the burnt out and destroyed ship.

Feeling a sense of danger and impending harm through the force, Kailash quickly raised his hand out, using the force to push Camrosa to the side as a blaster bolt shot past his face striking the dirt where Camrosa was mere seconds ago.

Igniting his lightsaber standing in front of Camrosa, Kailash scanned in front of him for the shooter.

"Stop, we're survivors of the crash, there's no need for violence" shouted Kailash.

Another shot came ringing out straight towards Kailash which he blocked effortlessly.

"Jedi, why are you protecting that witch, she's the reason we're stuck here" shouted out the gunman.

"Stop trying to kill us and come out, you can tell me face to face how somehow she's the reason behind all this" shouted Kailash trying to reason with the voice.

A third shot rang out which Kailash again blocked effortlessly, but another bolt sizzled back this time coming from Camrosa.

"He's not going to listen to you, you know that right, I'll cover you now go!" Shouted Camrosa.

Sprinting forward toward the shooter while using the force to increase his speed and with Camrosa covering fire, Kailash covered the distance in very little time even while defecting the few shots the shooter managed to get off. Then focusing on his legs, channelling the force through them, Kailash jumped over the shooter's cover blocking his frantic shots as he fell towards him. Landing behind the shooter, Kailash sliced the blaster in half as he turned to shoot, putting his saber to the Rodian's throat.

"Talk"

"She's the reason we are stuck here, she made me turn off the transponder so we couldn't be tracked or found, there is going to be no rescue no one knows where we are" said the Rodian, quivering in fear.

Deactivating his lightsaber, Kailash reached a hand out to help the Rodian to its feet. Taking the Rodians hand he sensed a sudden change within him much like when someone is under a mind trick.

"Don't do i…"

Before Kailash could finish, the Rodian with surprising speed pulled a hold out blaster from its boots, shooting Kailash in the shoulder. In a flash of anger and pain he reactivated his lightsaber, slicing the Rodians arm off in quick swing before he could fire another shot and followed it up with a deep slash across its chest killing it.

Clutching his shoulder, and stumbling back, Kailash raised his arm over his mouth and nose as the smell of burnt flesh assaulted him, making him nearly gag, dropping to his knees staring at the body he couldn't believe what he had just done.

Slowly as the adrenaline began to wear off the burning sensation grew larger and began radiating from his shoulder causing him to wince in pain.

Looking up he saw Camrosa standing in front of him, her yellow eyes staring down at him with a smile across her face.

"You did well, thank you for saving me" said Camrosa reaching out her hand

Taking her hand and struggling to his feet, Kailash looked past her and up to the sky.

"Is it true, does no one know we're out here?" Asked Kailash.

Camrosa put her hand on Kailash's good shoulder to reassure him.

"Yes, he spoke the truth, no one knows where out here it will be hard to find us but not impossible my Father's men will eventually find us" replied Camrosa .

"Great just Great and Why did he call you a witch?" Replied Kailash, knocking Camrosa 's hand off his shoulder.

"It's my eyes, the colour of the ancient Sith as such many avoid me, and probably another reason for my father's disdain towards me" replied Camrosa making her way into the crashed ship.

"You're not a Sith otherwise I would have felt it" replied Kailash following Camrosa into the ship.

"Would you?" Asked Camrosa looking over her shoulder at Kailash, giving him a wink.

A moment of doubt crept over Kailash before he quickly dispelled it, a Sith could not possibly hide this close to him the only thing he could feel in the force was that small ripple, surely a Sith couldn't hide their power this effectively.

Shaking his head Kailash replied

"Let's just find somewhere to rest and treat my blaster wound, then we'll search the ship for supplies and some sort of beacon, to call for help"

Camrosa stared at the Jedi, if only he knew what path murdering that Rodian had set him on.
