And I'm back with the next chapter of Meta-Verse. In this chapter, tiny Nanachis has mysteriously appeared in the Agency and starts causing trouble all over the place. Let the madness begin.

Meta-Verse Department Agency

It is a quiet day in the Agency. But not for two certain people causing pranks. Well, at least one is, the other ain't.

The first person is a male that has messy black hair and green eyes. His most famous quality is his black t-shirt that says 'JERK' on it, blue jeans and black ankle boots. This is Daniel Mandel, aka Dan.

The second person is a male that has light brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a blue shirt, orange short-sleeve over-shirt, beige pants, white socks and flip-flops. This is Christopher Pearson, aka Chris.

"So, what happened, Dan?" Chris asked.

"California just eaten my popcorn!" Dan said.

"What?" Chris asked.

"Yeah. And it happened just like this." Dan said.

Flashback, California

Dan was walking back home from the carnival with popcorn in hand, but until he gets attacked by birds.

"Get away you birds!" Dan swats at the birds, but accidentally dropped the popcorn bag, spilling some popcorn on the ground.

The birds got to the popcorn and eats on it.

Dan gets really angry, looks up to the sky and shouted, "CALIFORNIA!"

Meta-Verse Department Agency

"Well, birds got your popcorn, so what?" Chris asked.

"Shut up, Chris! I'm gonna have my revenge on California. You'll see!" Dan left Chris behind.

"Why do I ever be with him?" Chris then walks the other way.

Somewhere outside the Agency, a bunny-like being is observing Dan and Chris.

In the cafeteria, we see Reg, Riko, Katy Caterpillar, Paiman and Raggedy Ann eating lunch.

"This is quite good, actually." Riko is eating some type of meat.

"It is actually something new I didn't even tried out. Someone caught a huge creature known as a Garara Gator, and he actually cooked up the meat of it, honestly." Katy takes a bite of the Garara Gator meat, then chews on it some, then swallows it. "Not bad."

"A Garara Gator?" Riko is confused.

"It is a very huge alligator with more then four legs. You don't wanna get near that thing unless if you're ready for it." Katy said.

"Who caught this thing?" Reg asked.

"Toriko. He isn't here right now, but his assistant…sort of, Komatsu is here." Katy said.

"And how is he?" Ann asked.

"Umm…" Katy scratches the back of her head. "Pretty much a scaredy cat."

"Yikes." Ann said.

In the kitchen of the cafeteria, we see Mai the Immortal Maid and Chowder cleaning up some dishes. We see a male and a female do the same.

The male has short black hair and large black eyes. He wears a tan-colored long-sleeve shirt, beige pants and black boots. This is Komatsu.

The female has black hair and brown eyes. She wears a burgundy shirt with white short sleeves, red checkered skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. She is currently wearing a white apron. This is Yotsuba Satsuki.

"Hey, Komatsu-kun. Do you mind getting the dishes at the counter for me?" Mai asked.

"Sure thing." Komatsu heads out to the counter to get the dishes that some students put on the counter when they're done eating.

"Dishes can be hard at times." Chowder still kept washing the dishes, with him washing up a plate.

"Dishes can be hard, but they must be cleaned." Yotsuba said.

"Yeah I know. But I don't like doing them." Chowder said.

Mai sighed.

Meanwhile, with Willa Caterpillar, she was in her quarters Revengers Base, with her trying to paint a Japanese letter.

"Is it that hard?" Yoshika Miyafuji came in the room.

Willa turns to face Yoshika, with a glaring look on her face. "What does it look like to you?"

"Well…um…no?" Yoshika assumes.

Willa sighed, frustratingly. "I am doing just fine." She turns to continue painting.

"Okay then. Sorry to bother you." Yoshika then went out of the room.

"Wow. Did she just left?" Willa rolled her eyes, then continued painting some more.

"Na na."

Willa looks around the room, then sees a tiny Nanachi right next to her, looking at the little caterpillar with a cool look on her face.

Willa's eyes widened. "Since when did you become my size?"

"Na na." The tiny Nanachi only said.

Willa facefaulted. "Crap. Whatever. Look, I'm busy, okay?" She continues painting.

The tiny Nanachi watches intently at Willa, then decided to sit on the caterpillar's back.

"HEY!" Willa tries to get the tiny Nanachi off her. "What the heck?!"

"Na na."

"Whatever. Can you please leave?!" Willa sighed, frustratingly.

The tiny Nanachi thinks for a moment, then suddenly hugs Willa out of nowhere, causing the caterpillar and the tiny Narehate to fall off the table and onto the floor.

Kikyo Kushida came into the room. "What's all the commotion?" She sees Willa down on the floor. "Oh my God, are you okay?"

Willa gets up. "No, I'm not okay." She points at the tiny Nanachi. "This freaking thing just pushed me down the table!"

"Na na."

"Huh." Kikyo grabs the tiny Nanachi. "She can fit in the palm of your hand. That's freaky."

"What is?" Nanachi came into the room.

Willa looks at Nanachi in shock. "Huh?!" She then looks at the tiny Nanachi, then back to Nanachi. "What is going on here?!"

Nanachi then notices Kikyo holding the tiny Nanachi. "Wait. A miniature version of me?"

"I don't know what's going on." Kikyo said.

"Na na."

"Naa." Nanachi walks to Kikyo, then holds her miniature self, then examines her. "She looks like me." She sniffs at her. "Smells like it, too."

Willa sighed. "Can you get that thing out of here? She interrupted my painting."

"Whatever you say." Nanachi then gets out of the room with her miniature self.

Kikyo grabs Willa, then places her back on the table.

"Thank you." Willa said.

Kikyo nodded, then gets up, then leaves the room.

"Hope that doesn't happen again." Willa goes back into painting.

Meanwhile, Konata Izumi, Tomoko Kuroki, Kon, Tsumiki Miniwa, Hikage Miyakawa and Mio Naganohara were in Class A, striking up a conversation.

"So get this. I've gotten myself to watch Sharknado last night, and it was a horrible sucky b-movie." Konata said.

"Yeah, I never get why Sharknado is that popular these days." Tsumiki said.

"Hope we don't get an actual one here." Mio said.

"Trust me, if one is here, I got a chainsaw in my bedroom." Hikage said.

"Since when did you gotten yourself a chainsaw?" Konata asked.

"I was attacked by a giant spider that came out of nowhere, and so I have to take pervasive action and kill the freaking thing. I was scared, but then after that, I gotten myself to kill that thing with a chainsaw." Hikage said.

"Sounds hard if you ask me." Mio said.

"I can agree." Konata said. But then thinks of something else.

"What are you thinking?" Tsumiki asked.

"I'm concerned for Yutaka." Konata said.

"Where is she, anyway?" Tomoko asked.

"From what I've been told, she was one of the victims of that portal incident. Sending her into another dimension." Konata said.

"That's what happened. I was wondering where she was." Hikage said.

Konata nodded.

"I'm sure she'll be fine." Tsumiki puts a hand on Konata's shoulder.

Konata looks at Tsumiki for a moment, then nodded.

"Na na."

They turned around to see a tiny Nanachi on a desk behind them.

"Is that Nanachi?" Tsumiki asked.

"She looks tiny." Mio said.

"Does Katy know about this?" Konata asked.

"I'm not quite sure." Tsumiki gets off of her chair and walks to the tiny Nanachi, then examines her.

The tiny Nanachi looks at Tsumiki for a moment, then pinches her in the nose.

"OW!" Tsumiki rubs at her nose.

"Wow. She loves pinching noses." Konata said, sarcastically.

"Shut up." Tsumiki still rubs at her nose.

Later, in Class D, Katy began teaching her class again.

"Now, students, I want you to pay close attention to this. This is important. What I'm about to tell you, is about the study of life. Now, life is what makes us. We can be made or born, whichever way is possible. Like I'm about to say, life can be an eternity, no matter what people say to you. I know this, because I thought I was dead for good when I passed on. But I figured out that life goes on after death when I was reborn." Katy teaches.

"Somehow I doubt it." Reg thought.

Riko is messing around with a dragonfly flying around her. Reg looks at Riko, worrying that she might get caught again. The dragonfly then flew away from Riko flying towards Katy.

"Now, life is not difficult, unless if things get in the…wayyyyyyyyyyyy!" Katy sees the dragonfly flying towards her, then she screams, then she scoots back, trying to get away from the dragonfly. "Get away! Get away!" The little caterpillar grabs a flyswatter her size and swats at the dragonfly. "Get away from me! Shoo! Get out! Get out!" She ran from the dragonfly, which is chasing her around the table. Katy grabs a bug spray container her size and sprays at the dragonfly. "Don't get anywhere near me!"

Riko runs up to Katy's desk, then holds out her pointer finger. "Come here, little guy."

The dragonfly then landed on Riko's finger, then she sighed.

Katy panted. "Don't let it near me, again. Please."

"I'm sorry about that, little fella." Riko said.

"I don't know what gives you a liking to those things." Katy said, looking frightened still.

"I'm sorry." Riko then walks back to her desk, but then she sees a tiny Nanachi sitting on her desk.

"Na na."

"It's a tiny Nanachi." Riko said.

Reg looks at the tiny Nanachi in shock. "How did she shrink?" He gets off his desk, then grabs the tiny Nanachi, then examines her. "She fits in the palm of your hand."

"Wow! There's a tiny Narehate!" Riko said in amazement.

"When did this happen?" Katy asked, calming down.

"Na na."

They heard more sounds coming from outside Class D. They looked out the window, then they see tiny Nanachis looking out the window.

"We're in serious trouble." Sosuke said.

Break

Dan and Chris meets up with each other again hours later in the park in the middle of the Agency.

"I blew up California." Dan said.

"You did what?!" Chris asked, looking uncertain.

"Well, I just blew up the carnival." Dan said.

Flashback, California

Dan was flying in his rocket ship, readying his blasters on the carnival. "Take that, California!" He pushes buttons, sending rockets to destroy the carnival. He even destroyed a Ferris wheel.

The carnival contender sees this, then shrugs. "When did my insurance turned into a mess?"

Meta-Verse Department Agency

"Dan, why?!" Chris shouted, angrily.

"Well, it's because it ate my popcorn!" Dan retorted.

"Tell me you did not blew up the beach."

"Well, no I did not. Do you want me to?"

"No! I don't! I'm taking Elise to the beach this weekend and I don't want it to be blown up to smithereens."

"Chris, what if the beach does something bad to you?"

"Everything bad happens to you all the time!"

Dan sighed. "Whatever. Look."

"Na na."

They turned to see a tiny Nanachi sitting right next to them.

"It's a baby bunny rabbit." Chris said.

Dan slaps Chris in the face. "It's not a baby bunny rabbit, asshole. It's…what the hell is that?"

"Na na." The tiny Nanachi walks up to Dan, then punches him in the crotch.

Dan groans in pain. "What did I do to you?!"

"Dan, did you made it mad or something?" Chris asked.

"No, I did not made it mad!" Dan then turns to the tiny Nanachi. "Don't do that again." He has his pointer finger up at the tiny Nanachi.

"Na na."

Dan sighed, frustratingly. "Why did I always run into stuff like this?"

"You're the unluckiest person in the world." Chris said.

"Shut up, Chris!" Dan snapped.

Rolf is coming to them, but then stops and sees the tiny Nanachi, then bows down. "Behold, the bunny rabbit god!"

"What the hell are you doing?"

Rolf turns around to see Nanachi standing behind him. "Oh, you're the actual bunny rabbit god."

"Naa." Nanachi then walks away from Rolf and gets to Dan and Chris, then holds out her hand. "Can I have her?"

"Um, sure." Chris gives the tiny Nanachi to Nanachi.

"Thanks. There are so many of these guys, I don't know where they all came from." Nanachi said.

"Maybe you made babies." Dan assumes.

Nanachi smacks Dan in the face. "Don't think of anything stupid like that! I wouldn't have done this!"

Dan rubs at his cheek. "Okay. Whatever. Just don't smack me again."

Nanachi sighed. "Gonna find more of these guys." She was about to walk back inside, then she sees more tiny Nanachis at Class D's window. "Oh great. What now?"

In Class D, we see the students of Class D just looking out the window. We see four females looking out the window as well.

The first female has blue violet hair and blue eyes. She wears the same uniform as Yotsuba, albeit not wearing an apron. This is Nodoka Miyazaki.

The second female has pink hair and green eyes. She wears the same uniform as Yotsuba and Nodoka. This is Makie Sasaki.

The third female has pale red hair and hazel brown eyes. She wears the same uniform as Yotsuba, Nodoka and Makie. This is Shiina Sakurako.

The fourth female has pink hair and bright pink eyes. She wears the same uniform as Yotsuba, Nodoka, Makie and Shiina, albeit having no socks on and has pink sneakers instead of brown loafers. This is Fuuka Narutaki.

"Look at so many of these cute things." Nodoka said.

"Very." Shiina said.

"Alright, alright. Everybody get back to you desks. I'm gonna handle this." Katy crawls to the window.

"I'll help you open it." Yotsuba Koiwai opens up the window for Katy.

"Thank you." Katy then crawls outside, seeing the tiny Nanachis.

"Na na!" The tiny Nanachis gathered around and starts hugging Katy.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Off me! Why are you giving me a hug for?! I'm getting suffocated!" Katy panics.

"Um, can we help her?" Sayo Aisaka looks worried.

"I feel like we should." An insect-sized female said.

This insect-sized female has shoulder-length auburn hair and black eyes. She wears a red short-sleeve dress and brown boots. This is Arrietty Clock.

"I am fine! Back to your desks!" Katy tries to pry the tiny Nanachis off her.

"Nope. You definitely need help." Arrietty gets outside then ran to the tiny Nanachis, then tries to pry one off Katy.

"Na na!" The tiny Nanachi that Arrietty is trying to pry off tries to not get off Katy.

"Why are you being so difficult?" Arrietty keeps trying.

"Because they love her." The two Puchidols said.

The first Puchidol has brown hair with a pigtail on her right side and brown eyes. She wears a yellow long-sleeve shirt, gray skirt and is barefoot. This is Koami.

The second Puchidol seems very alike to Koami, but she has her pigtail on her left instead. She wears a green long-sleeve shirt, gray skirt and is barefoot. This is Komami, Koami's twin.

"So, what now?" Harukasan asked.

"I'm still trying!" Arrietty finally manages to pry a tiny Nanachi off Katy and falls on her back, while the tiny Narehate falls face first.

"There's more of these guys then that." Katy said.

Nanachi came into the classroom. "What the hell is going on here?"

"Apparently your miniature…wait a minute, Nanachi?" Riko looks back at the tiny Nanachis, then back to her. "So, that means…?

"I don't know what the hell just happened." Nanachi walks to the window, then sees Katy being hugged on by her miniature selves. "Come on."

The tiny Nanachi looks up at Nanachi, then they walked to her, then hugs on her.

Katy panted. "Two most horrible incidents. Man, can this day be any worse?"

"It can be." Nanachi said.

"I'm afraid you were gonna say that." Katy said.

Gruier and Grunhilde Serenity, Ai Hoshimiya and another female came into Class D.

The female has long light brown hair with two long curling bangs with a light green hair bow at eye level and brown eyes. She wears a light gray long-sleeve shirt, blue skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Yayoi Yoshitomi.

"We're back, Katy-sensei. Huh?" Gruier sees that Nanachi is being hugged by her miniature selves.

"What just happened?" Grunhilde asked.

"Trust me, you don't wanna know." Katy said.

"I need to get these guys out of here." Nanachi then walks out of the classroom, walking past the Serenity sisters and the two yacht club members and out the door.

"That was scary." Marulk said.

A male sighed. "That was not what was supposed to happen."

This male has navy blue hair and brown eyes. He wears a white long-sleeve shirt, blue trousers and black shoes. This is Sho.

"Hey, at least I got one off her." Arrietty said.

"Yeah, only one." Katy crawls to Arrietty. "Thanks for helping."

"No problem." Arrietty said.

"Where would they all go now?" Ushio Okazaki asked.

"Maybe with the Tribbles." Laetitia assumes.

"What?!" Chika Itou looks pretty angry.

Meanwhile, Nanachi walks down to Chika's quarters, then opens it up, then sees Tribbles everywhere.

"Oh hey, Nanachi. What's up?" Miu Matsuoka greeted.

"Just sending these guys here." Nanachi sets the tiny Nanachis down, then they go to hug the Tribbles.

"This will do." Miu said.

"I'm sure they will get along just fine." Nanachi said.

Unfortunately, some tiny Nanachis and Tribbles went outside of the room.

"I was wrong." Nanachi said.

"Hey, come back!" Miu gets up and ran out of the room.

"Have fun catching them!" Nanachi looks back at the tiny Nanachis and Tribbles that have not gone out of the quarters, then sighed. "What am I gonna do with you guys?"

Meanwhile, with Kaede Fuyou, Susanna Hopkins and Whyatt Beanstalk, they were walking down the halls to the arcade room.

"I'm gonna try some dance moves, as I have not even tried it before." Kaede said.

"Dancing can be cool, man!" Susanna said.

"Dancing is." Whyatt said.

They then met up with a…female?

This female has long thick brunette hair and brown eyes. She wears a pink dress, blue long-sleeve jacket and white slippers. This is Kenjiro Hato, who happens to be a male.

"Oh, hello." Kaede said.

"Hello." Kenjiro said in his feminine voice.

"I know you. You're the cross-dressing boy!" Susanna points her finger at Kenjiro.

Kenjiro blushes very badly.

"What?" Whyatt looks at Susanna in confusion.

"I don't know what's going on anymore." Kaede said.

"Na na!"

They turned around and saw tiny Nanachis and Tribbles running towards them. They screamed, and ran for it.

"Where did they come from?!" Kenjiro asked, screaming.

"I don't know! But this looks bad!" Kaede screamed.

They kept running from the tiny Nanachis and Tribbles.

"Come back!" Miu is chasing after the tiny Nanachis and Tribbles.

Meanwhile, with Remon Yamano, Bee #5344, the Very Hungry Caterpillar and two other females, they were in the karaoke room trying to pick a song to sing.

The first female has waist-length brown hair that is down to where there are two high braids at the top on either side with bangs hanging over her forehead, but it is mostly swept on the left side and chocolate-brown eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, blue skirt, white socks and brown loafers. This is Touko Fukami.

The second female has upper-back length brown hair that is wavy at the bottom where it has a dark pale yellow-green in her hair with small bangs hanging on the right side and olive-brown eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, blue and red checkered skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Yanagi Takayama.

"Which song sounds better?" Touko asked.

"Don't know. What about you, Remon?" Yanagi turns to Remon, who is sitting on the couch.

"Don't ask me. I'll let you decide." Remon said.

"Man, they're taking their sweet time trying to come up with something." Hungry munches on his leaf.

"We're still trying to decide." Touko said.

"How long?" Hungry asked.

"For like three minutes now." Yanagi said.

"Yep. Took you that long." Hungry munches on his leaf.

The tiny Nanachi comes in and grabs the microphone, then sings on it, usually in Na na.

"What in the world?!" Yanagi is taken aback by the tiny Nanachi.

"Good, a song." Hungry munches on his leaf, but is interrupted by another tiny Nanachi, who is trying to make the little caterpillar dance with him. "Hey, I'm not in the mood for dancing. I'm in the mood for eating."

"She likes you." 5344 said.

"Yeah, well, tell her to stop." Hungry said.

"I'll let this go." Remon said.

"Seriously, Remon!" Hungry gets angry.

Meanwhile, back with Dan and Chris, they were walking back to Class C, when they entered, they saw a mess of tiny Nanachis.

"What happened here?" Dan asked.

Paiman turns to see Dan and Chris, glaring at them. "This whole situation of Nanachis is ticking me off. Aside from Garfield eating his homework yet again, tiny Nanachis fells up the classroom!"

"I'm trying to get these guys out of here." Said a male.

This male has blonde hair and purple eyes. He wears a long-sleeve tan-colored shirt, blue pants and brown shoes. This is Youhei Sunohara.

Youhei is trying to get the tiny Nanachis out of the classroom, but he got himself grabbed at, then they dropped him on the floor and gets on him. "Hey! Get off me! Hey!"

"This should have never happened." Chizuru Tachibana takes a sip of orange juice.

"Well, this well never end." Dan said. "I'll take revenge on this agency too."

Paiman throws a book at Dan and it hits him square in the face. "You're not gonna do that, YOU IDIOT!"

"Wow, panda got you good." Chris said.

"Watch it!" Paiman points his finger at Chris.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot you don't wanna be called that." Chris said.

"At least someone agrees." Paiman nodded.

"Why?" Dan is on the floor in pain.

Meanwhile, in Class D, Joy came into the room. "It never stopped. Some escaped."

Katy sighed. "I knew this was gonna happen."

"What now?" Reg asked.

"Well, let's just hope things get better and start class back up." Katy said.

They all nodded.

Laetitia looks at the desk next to her where Tsukasa Hiiragi usually sits in. "I wonder what happened to her?"

And that's a wrap! This chapter was inspired by a chapter of the Made in Abyss Official Anthology about…well, don't know. It does have a tiny Nanachi in it, and there were some other shenanigans in that chapter as well, so yeah. Next time, the Meta-Verse Agents meets up with Davy Jones once again. But this time, he'll summon up the most dangerous sea creature of them all.
