Chapter 1 – Meet the year of 1977.

There were many things that differentiated this night from any other night, it was the beginning of another school year at Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and for many of these young minds, it was the last year of seven years in hell.

Students had been sorted, and people had talked to their friends and made new friends, but one thing was different this year and that was the commotion on the table furthest to the left. Kids could be seen wearing black robes with red ties, there was a certain messy-haired boy, with round glasses – he was admiring the beautiful red-haired girl that sat beside him. The girl had the greenest eyes he had ever seen, and he couldn't believe that she had finally said yes to going out with him, he had tried for the last couple of years but hadn't won her over.

James Flamount Potter couldn't believe that she had finally seen something in him and said yes. It was still new to them, but they got quite the teasing from their friends. The red-haired girl was Lily Evans.

'Why did I say yes to him again?' Lily thought sweetly as she made eye contact with the most irritating boy beside her.

The teasing went on for minutes on end, Remus and Sirius couldn't help but catcall when they finally noticed that they were quietly holding one another's hands and trying to be discreet. However, they were both glad that they finally figured it out because it would have been a lot more irritating for them both if things had continued like they always had been.

Lily gave a small quiet smile to her smiling friends who all have found their way towards their own beginnings. Alice was sitting with Frank Longbottom, finally talking to him after all these years. Marlene McKinnon was looking shyly towards the Ravenclaw table, and Pandora Celeste was looking at another guy in Ravenclaw.

"Shh… Padfoot. It looks like Dumbledore is about to talk." Lily heard Remus say swiftly to the jokesters that sat around them, and Lily was glad that James had at least one sensible friend around him at all times. The great hall was the same as it always had been, but something in her called its intuition was going to change this year all she hoped for was a quiet problem free year getting to know the annoying brat.

That shut everyone up at least in the closest proximity something Lily had to love about having a reputation like the headmasters, but before Dumbledore could open his mouth to greet the younger generation the doors to the Great Hall opened with a loud bang causing everyone to look towards them in surprise.

In the door came multiple different people, and all of them were looking quite confused over how they managed to get here but many of them were all but annoyed and a little bit angry over having to be here.

James gaped when he saw his parents, "Mum, Dad?" he said as a blond woman and a dark-haired man started to walk over to them where they sat. "What are you doing here?" was the only thing he managed to ask them before they came up to the table.

The others looked also over the people at the door, and Sirius and even Regulus had to grimace over the sour look their parents had on their faces by being here. The only ones of their cousins that were present were Narcissa, Andromeda and her husband Ted Tonks with their newborn daughter.

Then there was Molly, and Arthur Weasley with their three sons, Bill, Charlie, and Percy, but also the Prewett Twins. There were also a couple of other important people around the room, like a couple of Aurors, the minister of magic and a few other important people.

"Guest, may I ask why you are all doing here?" Headmaster Dumbledore asked, this caused every one of the students to stop their hushed whispers.

"I am not sure about the others, but my wife and I simply appeared right outside in the hall," Fleamont said, still looking confused around the hall, while Arthur Weasly nodded in agreement while holding hands with his two sons. "Arthur and I assumed you brought us here, Dumbledore," Molly said in agreement with what was being said as she rocked her now youngest son Percy to sleep in her arms.

This statement was quietly swallowed up by a cracking sound like that of apparitions makes after a long trip. There was also a soft strong glow to it, everyone in the hall had to cover their eyes in the fear of hurting their eyes – when they opened them again, they couldn't help but look at the people standing there.

They were shocked because they thought no one could be able to do so within the halls of the school without permission from either the headmaster or Hogwarts itself. Eight people stood there tall and confidently looking at the people of the past like they were meant to be there, a man with red hair and freckles adoring his face stood there shaking his head, though, his arms were wrapped around a smaller brown-haired woman.

To the left, stood a platinum-haired man with silver grey eyes, and was looking surprised around and maybe a little bit impressed by the family that made this whole thing happen.

Then another couple could be seen holding each other's hands, both were blonds, but the man was darker and his height was in pair with the red-haired one. The woman in his arms at pitch blond hair, and crystal blue eyes.

What drew the eyes of the people in the past was the little family that stood in the centre of the group, the man of the family was high and lean, and had dark curly hair and pitch brown eyes that glinted mischievously towards the Gryffindor table. The woman of the group was what drew everyone to see her, she had beautiful glossy dark black hair it frizzed up when she ran her fingers through it and the greenest eyes that people couldn't help but see were so much like a certain red-haired girl. Then there was the child of the group, he couldn't have been more than four to eight years old and looked so much like the people who clearly were his parents.

The black-haired woman had a supportive hand on the boy's shoulder and looked like if someone hurt him, that they would get it back tenfold.

"Who are you guys? And what do you want?" asked an unknown Auror, he had a stern look in his eyes and pointed his wand at them, especially at the family.

The woman of the family simply chuckled, while subtly shielding her son behind her back if there would become blows. Otherwise, she didn't seem bothered by the many wands pointing at the group, unlike her friends who seemed nervous and ready to draw their wands if there was a need to do so. The man just sighed and laid a supportive hand on his wife's shoulder and shielded the child carefully because everything could happen with a crowd like this.

"I can assure you that we mean you no harm." Said the brown-haired woman of the group, "after all, we are from the future."

At that, they couldn't help themselves from looking at them with wide eyes and disbelief. "Is this a joke?" Professor McGonagall snapped irritated and ready to send out a hex at the smirking woman.

"I can promise you this is no joke, Professor McGonagall." The blond woman said airily and causing the woman's eyes to widen, confused over how she could know her.

"With permission from our Ministry, we all have come back here in time to prevent unnecessary bloodshed that takes place in the future. We have done so for your sake, as we made sure that whatever changes this brings from here on out, will not affect our timeline in any way shape or form." The black-haired woman explained softly, with her eyes shifting to look every professor in the eyes to see that they got it and when they did, she sighed in relief. "We are here to prevent things from happening – not cause harm."

Everyone in the room stared, no one quite knew what to believe.

So, the leader and Dumbledore locked eyes, in a couple of minutes Dumbledore smiled softly though those that knew him well enough could read the sadness lingering in his eyes. "First and foremost, can we get your names?"

"Of course, sir." The brown-haired woman said and stood up straighter next to the red-haired man. "I'll start." She said with a pause, before continuing. "My name is Hermione Granger-Weasly. A muggle-born witch and I'm twenty-five years old." Hermione said, and that caught and caused quite a lot of murmurs around the hall. Arthur and Molly looked at her in interest because one of her boys married this girl and they couldn't be prouder while others like the purebloods and the Slytherins looked on in annoyance.

"Alright then," the red-haired one started with a smirk, "Ronald Weasley, but call me Ron. Son of Molly and Arthur Weasley and are twenty-five and is married to Hermione." Ron said with a smile toward his parents and his lovely wife. Both looked at the man in shock, but they could now see the resemblance and they could not be prouder of who he married in that life.

The platinum man gave a sigh and dreaded what they would be hearing from him because of how much of a prat he had been in the past. "Malfoy. Draco Malfoy. Pureblood, son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. Twenty-five, and I really don't want to say who I am married to." Draco wouldn't say it because everyone would get shocked that he at all could marry her.

Before everyone could ask him why someone else started their introduction saving him from a confrontation with his parents. "I'm Luna Lovegood, and my mother is Pandora, and my father is Xenophilius Lovegood. Twenty-four, and my fiancée is standing beside me."

"My name is Neville Longbottom." Neville smiled gladly towards his blushing future parents. "I am, twenty-five years old, and my parents are Frank and Alice Longbottom." He finished swiftly, caused the freshly made couple to blush, and then reached a hand out to the woman beside him and smiled down at her knowing that everyone looked forward to having the last couple introduce themselves.

Everyone around could feel the tension mounting at the little tightly knitted family was about to introduce themselves to the past at large, and the oldest one could already feel the nervous energy his wife was admitting loudly into the room, and he damn understood it because things were about to get a lot more surreal to these people. Sometimes, he wondered how lucky he became to have someone like them on his side. However, he was here to give his wife emotional support and be there for her if something happened that made her uncomfortable with the people.

With that last thought going through his mind, he took her into his arms his chest to her back, and their hands to their adopted child's shoulders he began the introduction of himself. "Sirius Orion Black," as soon as he said his name there was a stir around the hall especially from the teachers and the parents, but also from the Slytherin and the Gryffindor tables because everyone could not believe that the person in front of them is the future Sirius Black.

"I have a wife?!" The younger Sirius exclaimed shocked but happy that something like that could happen to him. The ones around him were also in shock because they had thought that he forever would have been a bachelor, and that included his parents too. Orion and Walburga looked at their oldest child standing up there confident and almost regal with his family they could understand that he had a wife and child, but not that child that was still a teenager.

The teachers were dreading, already dreading what their children would be like at school.

"I'm forty-six, and this lovely lady by my side is my wife and adopted son," Sirius said quickly and knew that things were about to get uglier and complicated for everyone around them whit who they are.

"Hi…" She began nervously, "my name is Hadriana Roselyn Potter-Black." Hadriana fretted over having revealed her name to them all.

Everyone after having heard that perked up but looked shocked over having heard that she married Sirius someone that was quite a lot older than herself.

"I'm twenty-five years old. My parents are, James and Lily Potter." Hadriana finished quickly and snuggled back into her husband's side knowing that sooner or later things would blow up in outrage.

"YOU MARRIED OUR DAUGHTER!" Lily and James yelled at the youngest Sirius and hit him over the head. They were furious, "I am very cross with you right now Sirius Orion Black…" Lily muttered cross-eyed towards him, while James nodded afraid over how she sounded right now and knew at once that he never would cross wands with her.

Hadriana and Sirius looked covertly at each other because they had thought that things would have escalated more than this, so, they were surprised over how little there was yelling. With how quiet everything was in the room, they looked down at their adopted child and quietly asked him if he wanted to introduce himself to the crowd.

His parents looked at him with proud eyes, and they could not wait for the people to get to know this little prankster.

"I'm Theodore 'Teddy' Lupin-Black. My parents Nymphdora Black and Remus John Lupin were adopted by Hadriana and Sirius when my parents were killed, and I am seven years old." Teddy told them softly and leaned into his mother's stomach and breathed in her calming scent. However, this time he noticed that something was different in her sent, something he had only smelled whenever Aunty Ginny had on her when she was pregnant.

There was a shocked silence in the great hall, and while the others tried to get their thoughts in order the little family had a small conversation between them. "What is it, Teddy?" asked Hadriana her son quietly so that just the three of them could hear what they were saying. "Mum, your smell has changed!"

"Changed how so?" Sirius whispered worried if there was something wrong with the love of his life.

"I've only noticed this smell recently but aren't sure because I've noticed it clearly the times, I've been with aunty Ginny when she's pregnant," Teddy told her worriedly, it worried him to know that things could be changing now that they are expecting their own child.

Sirius gulped, with an excited smile around his mouth and placed a small loving kiss on her forehead, knowing that this was huge for her. They had been all around the world trying to find a healer that could help her with what has happened to her body in the years of the war, and they had the knowledge that they never could have their own children.

"Are you happy?" Hadriana asked her husband nervously happy, but she needed to have it confirmed.

"This makes me deliriously happy," Sirius said and jumped up and down retracing the whole floor.

And, if there had been any doubts about who they had been this would have cemented it to every one of them. No one can be that excitable other than Sirius Black.

Hadriana had to smile at her husband and leaned up to kiss him also happy over having found it out, and we trusted their little one's nose.

To the others around the room, the little family looked like they were in their own little bubble while to their friends this was normal for them when they needed to discuss something between themselves before telling them.

Remus and the Tonks could not help but look at one another in shock and disbelief and at the little boy in wonder over what the future was telling them about their family. When everything was over with, they all had to sit down and talk – also hope they all would know soon what the future held for everyone.

"Don't worry about them they are always so sickeningly sweet," Draco told them all with a smirk and looked around the room. It was weird to see his father and mother this young without any expectations, but he knew that when they got the wind of who he married that they would be furious, especially his father.

"Ha, what about you and Ginny?" Luna snorted without meaning to drag the question up again, but it was fun to see her brother in all but blood so flustered.

"HEY!" Exclaimed Draco with a smile.

"Look who's come back to us!" Hermione smiled, happy for them that they had found someone special after everything they have been through together.

While the whole conversation between the future was happening the people around them couldn't help but laugh and look at them in shock because how come it that a Malfoy, Potter and Weasley were laughing together?

Had hell frozen over in the future?

The teachers looked on with a smile, thinking there was some hope in the future for the children of their current students – something that was wonderful to see. It was also fun to see the banter over things but to see that both Sirius and Hadriana look so in love that maybe won everyone over.

Euphemia Potter looked excitingly up at her granddaughter and the man she fell in love with and she could see that there was more to the romance between them – there was something deeper going on. The funniest part of it all was the look of her son's face when he found out that his best friend married his daughter.

"Now that everything is settled! How do you plan on showing us the future?" Asked Dumbledore ready to find out what was happening in the future.

"That's simple, but first I want to ask if Poppy can check on my wife?" Sirius asked at the same time with a gigantic grin on his mouth.

Poppy smiled at them as she did the spell for them knowing what they were asking for, and she can't believe that she was still doing this whole thing in the future too, "Congratulation, you're pregnant."

Hearing it confirmed it, they looked at one another and cried – this made them happier than they had been since the war, this completed them. They pulled Teddy into a hug because they could begin to see the tension in his body, so, they reassured him that they still loved him and will always love him no matter what.

When they just had a simple minute by themselves as family, they got gratulations from everyone in the room.

"Okay then, we will show everything with the help of these seven disks. They each contain a memory of each of my years of Hogwarts, they are basically movies which is a muggle form of entertainment. So, we will watch them, discuss them – that's pretty much it." Hadriana told them and made Dumbledore smile.

"May I ask, how did you manage to put the memories on those disks?" Dumbledore asked, with a smile to the happy couple.

"Minnie helped us with it," she told the headmaster, and that caught everyone by surprise and caused the Marauders to smirk. The woman in question sighed and rubbed her fingers on her temple.

"Alright then!" Dumbledore smiled and tapped the tables for something to eat. "Why don't we all take our seats and enjoy the feast before we begin watching the movies." Causing different varieties of foods to appear on the tables around the great hall.

Everyone took their seats, and Ron could not help himself from saying his catchphrase "Oh, great I am starving." To everyone's laughter.

"You are always hungry, Ron." Hermine smiled fondly at her husband.

While they were eating and talking to those around them Dumbledore waves his hand around the hall and a couple of couches, pillows and chairs appeared around the room to help them all to sit comfortably.
