INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my first Kamen Rider fanfic, Rider Time: Kamen Rider Vulcan & Valkyrie. This spin-off focuses on the romance between Isamu Fuwa & Yua Yaiba, my favourite couple in Kamen Rider. I am really mad that relationship didn't happen in the last installment of Zero One Others where it killed my favorite former villains, MetsubouJinrai and my wolf boi, Isamu Fuwa for no reason. I decided to make a spin-off where Vulcan and Valkyrie end up together in an alternative way but with their new forms instead of Lone Wolf & Justice Serval.

Ep 1: Rushing Cheetah & Shooting Wolf
Unknown Place
In the unknown place, there was Kamen Rider Vulcan Lone Wolf fighting the fusion of Kamen Riders Horobi, Jin Naki & Ikazuchi: Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai.
These four Humagears were forever stuck inside this machine, so they wanted to end the suffering by having Fuwa destroy the fusion.
Then, the two Riders clashed with their Rider Kicks. Vulcan's kick is powerful that it destroyed MetsubouJinrai along with the four villains-turned heroes in a flash.
Fuwa cancelled his transformation but it costed a huge prize... He lost his eyesight due to the usage of Dire Wolf Zetsumerise Key in the Zero-One Driver. It also costed... his life.
Yua rushes beside Fuwa and she was in tears seeing him die before her eyes.
"Oh, Yaiba..." Fuwa noticed her presence though he lost his eyes.
"Fuwa, wake up! Why did you risk your life?!" Yua asked. "Stay strong. You have to live!"
"I did for what the job I had to finish." Fuwa said.
"Don't worry. Let's go to hospital! You'll be fine!" Yua said.
"I don't need it." Fuwa said. "I guess this is the end of my road. My job as a Kamen Rider is done. Oh, I forgot to say you last words I wanna say. I love you... Yua."
Then, Fuwa finally lasts his breath.
Yua sobbed over partner's death and tears flowing from her eyes, crying. "Fuwa... Fuwa... FUWA!"
A.D. 2021
A.I.M.S. Office
Yua woke up with tears as her colleagues ran to see her condition.
"Captain Yua, why are you screaming like that?!" First Colleague said.
"And... you're crying?" A second colleague noticed tears falling from Yua's eyes.
Yua wiped her eyes, hiding her discomfort.
"Nothing. Just a bad dream." Yua said. "Go and do some work."
The colleagues walked for the work.
Yua wondered that the nightmare of Fuwa dying is just a dream. "It's just a dream or some... nightmare? Whatever." Her face turned red
Unbeknownst to Yua, Naki overheard the conversation and goes to inform Fuwa about this.
Tokyo: Hidari Restaurant
In the Hidari Restaurant, Naki and Fuwa were discussing about Yua's nightmare.
"Yaiba had a nightmare that you're dead and she's crying, calling your name for you three times." Naki informed.
"Really? Does she care about me for real?" Fuwa asked about Yua's concern about him.
"Don't know but I saw her face completely red. She is also blushing about you." Naki also told that Yua is blushing.
"Blushing about me?" Fuwa was surprised.
"Yes. It indicates that she likes you a lot." Naki said.
"Like me? More like she's caring me a lot." Fuwa said as he starts to drink a coffee. "Also, I am worried about her too."
"Fuwa. That maybe a ridiculous answer, so be prepared." Naki said. "You're in love with her."
Hearing this, Fuwa spits the coffee out of embarrassment.
"Hey, Naki! What the fuck are you talking about?!" Fuwa's face turned extremely red as the apple.
"You really care about Yua. You had deep affection on her. It's all written over your face." Naki said.
"Me? Lover for Yaiba? No way!" Fuwa said in defiance as his face continues to go red.
"Yua worries about you. You care for Yua a lot. I guess you two should be a best match." Naki said.
Fuwa continues to hide his feelings as he ran away from the cafe.
Naki smiled at Fuwa's feelings for Yua, hoping that these partner Riders end up together. She then goes back to A.I.M.S.
On the streets of Tokyo
Fuwa is walking to get rid of the blushing that Naki caused.
"Damn ya, Naki! You always know everything about me. Of course I had affection for Yua during the time I joined with A.I.M.S." Fuwa groaned and smiled at the same time. He remembered the time where he enjoyed the time with Yua though he was grumpy and reckless back then. It also revealed the fact is... Fuwa fell in love with Yua due to their relationship progressed from quarreling partners to partners that care each other.
Fuwa sighed. It's been a long time for him & the Kamen Riders defeating S/Kamen Rider Eden and his army. He also learned from Gai that they were told Fuwa died in the Daybreak Incident and had been provided an easy life by ZAIA as compensation. It's a rare decent deed done by a pre-redemption Gai. Fuwa had yet to build up the courage to reveal his survival to them but he made it a point to keep tabs on them and to check in on them every week, they were still his family after all.
As for what he had been doing in the meantime, after the fighting had ended Fuwa had decided to focus his efforts on protecting those who couldn't protect themselves, be they human or HumaGear, his plan to do this was too set up a public security agency that would be free to anyone who needed it.
A.D. 2068 (Alternate Timeline)
Unknown location
In the year of 2068 but in an alternate timeline where Oma Zi-O didn't exist, a gang of Time Jackers named the Neo Time Jackers. Their goal is somewhat different from the original Time Jackers have: to create a dystopia where people fight against each other in a most brutal, gory and horrific fashion and rule past, present and future.
"Today, we! The Neo Time Jackers shall reign supreme over the three eras!" The leader of the group clad in gold priestess-esque clothing declared. "We will be the one who's gonna rectify the humanity's greatest mistakes! They shall be punished in the name of justice!"
"Queen Chronia. The Another Ridewatches are ready." The messenger said bringing the set of blank Ridewatches, who looked identical to Woz but wearing blue clothes. The Neo Time Jackers refer to him as Blue Woz.
"Good. Let's start the crusade." said the commander in purple armor with red accents of Neo Time Jackers named Jaaku.
"First, we must find a person in danger or distress." Blue Woz said.
Chronia sees the past through her vision to see Ark's messenger Azu being shot by Lyon Arkland with the help of Solds 9 & 20.
"I guess that Humagear needs some help..." Chronia said as her vision is deactivated and the Neo Time Jackers time-traveled back to 2021 where Azu was going to die.
A.D. 2021 (Prime timeline)
Outside the building of ZAIA
The MetsubouJinrai confronting Lyon Arkland and Azu. Lyon Arkland is the CEO of ZAIA Enterprise USA unit who wanted to use Massbrain System to sell the Soldier-type Humagears in the international military market. He wants MetsubouJinraiNet to be the threat of humanity instead of becoming Ark. This statement caused Azu angry.
"Impossible! Ark-sama is invincible!" Azu was angry about Lyon's rejection of becoming Ark.
"Sorry my dear darling." Lyon said and he points the fingers that folded into a gun before saying "BANG!"
As Sold 9 & 20 try to shoot Azu, time suddenly stops.
Azu was shocked by the time flow being stopped.
Then, Chronia, Blue Woz & Jaaku appeared before the Ark's messenger.
"Who are you people?" Azu asked in a threatening tone.
"Calm down. we're here to fulfill your purpose." Chronia said. "Let me know, you want to create Ark, right? I see that Lyon rejected your wish to be the next Ark. *tsk* How pathetic."
"Yes. That man is unworthy to exist. I better off to be the next Ark instead." Azu said.
"You're right. Your wish is going to be come true then." Chronia said and then, she inserts the Another Ridewatch inside Azu's chest.
Azu is screaming with pain and agony as the malice within her is corrupting the blank Another Ridewatch. Suddenly, the malice is enveloping her and she transformed into a...
*(deep and ominous voice) Ark-Zero!*
...Grotesque, monstrous version of Kamen Rider Ark-Zero! The words "ARK ZERO" is located right side of her chest while the creation of the year is 2021. This Another Rider that Azu transformed will be christened by Blue Woz as...
"Your wish has come true... From now on, you're Kamen Rider Ark-Zero or else Another Ark-Zero. Go and spread malice at your heart's content." Blue Woz said.
The Neo Time Jackers disappeared as the time began to flow.
The MetsubouJinrai, Lyon and Solds were shocked to see Azu transformed into an Another Rider based on Kamen Rider Ark-Zero as she withstood the bullets launched by the Sold9 and Sold20.
"What the hell?! Did Azu just-" Jin says but Another Ark-Zero rushes to Jin at high speed and snatches the Massbrain Zetsumerise Key and MetsubouJinrai Driver. She pushes the four Riders back with her force of kinetic energy.
Another Ark-Zero then crushes the Massbrain Zetsumerise Key & MetsubouJinrai Driver into scrapped metal pieces, shocking Lyon and the MetsubouJinrai.
Destroying the Massbrain System would make Solds disconnect from it. Same goes to MetsubouJinrai. Sold 9 and Sold 20 were snapped out of it as they witnessed the scene.
"Oh no! The Massbrain System!" Lyon shouted in shock to see his plan crushed right before his eyes. "Azu! How dare you! You destroyed the Massbrain System. You made my plans dissolve in the water!"
Another Ark-Zero cackled like a witch in fantasy novels and says, "Oh, Arkland. Looks like the plans of making others as the new hosts of Ark is completely boring. I'll be the Ark instead."
"I guess I'll exterminate you by myself!" Lyon shouted as he tries transform into Kamen Rider ZAIA, only for Azu/Another Ark-Zero to grab him by the neck and chokes him tightly and crushes his neck, killing him the process. She then drops the bloody dead body of Lyon Arkland.
"Serves you right." Another Ark-Zero then disappears from the building.
MetsubouJinrai and the Solds were shocked after seeing Azu killing Arkland in a bloody fashion.
"Lyon's dead!" Raiden said.
"How did Azu become Ark-Zero?!" Naki asked.
"I don't know but whenever she backs, we'll exterminate her. Azu's the final enemy!" Horobi said.
Jin searches for the Sold9 and Sold20 who ran away from the scene the moment Another Ark-Zero fled. "Oi! Sold9! Sold20! Where are you, guys!?"
Raiden bonks Jin's head and jokes, "I guess you won't have friends again, Falcon Boi!"
Horobi looks at the dead body of Lyon Arkland. "Your plans are now sunk into the ocean of despair. So, sayonara..."
"Guys, let's take some rest in our personal workplaces. Being in MetsubouJinrai is kinda scary..." Raiden as he and the MetsubouJinrai Net walked back to their respective "homes".
Lyon's death is ironic. He was the one who created Satellite Ark to create chaos in Japan, only to be killed by Azu who is in the form of Another Ark Zero. His plans of mass producing so-called Solds and sell them to the military market for weaponization has rendered moot.
The Solds were free now then, they started damaging the ZAIA Japan Enterprise and they threw grenades upon the building, destroying in process.
One of the Humagears, Sold404 starts a revolution against ZAIA and humanity for manipulating the Solds.
"We shall make Humanity pay! Long live..." Sold404 shouts.
"Sold Revolution!" The Sold Humagears cried out for revolution.
Luckily, Amatsu Gai escaped from the building before Sold Revolution destroyed the ZAIA Japan HQ and ran away into a new home.
Meanwhile...
Time: 4: 00 pm evening
Fuwa and Yua were walking in the roads, confessing about the nightmare she had.
"I see... You cried for me when I was dead." Fuwa said.
Yua went quiet and didn't want to say more about her nightmare.
"Come on, don't be such a tsundere. I hate to say this but in truth, I don't want lose you either." Fuwa said that he don't want to lose her either.
Yua was surprised that Fuwa cares about her a lot and made her blush.
Fuwa too blushed about it.
Suddenly, the two partners encounter Sold9 and Sold20.
"Soldier-type Humagears?" Yua asked, making Sold20 shiver.
"Stay away from us!" Sold9 comes to Sold20's defense.
"Calm down. Tell me what happened. Drop your gun." Fuwa said as Sold9 dropped his gun and tells every detail about it.
In the military market of Japan
The president of Japanese Military Market gets a call from ZAIA Enterprise USA Chief and says, "Bad news, president! Lyon Arkland is dead!"
The president was furious and shouts, "WHAT?! Lyon Arkland dead? How?!"
To which the chief replied, "He was killed by that black creature. It also destroyed the Massbrain System as well!"
The president then throws the phone in anger as his plans of producing the Solds has rendered a big failure.
"I will find a way to produce Humagear army!" The president said.
"You will..." Chronia said in the form of the evil shadow with evil eyes, grinning evilly.

Author Notes:
- The Neo Time Jackers and Azu are not only the main villains in this story but the Japanese Military Market President is the part of antagonist group since he's responsible for manipulating the events of Kamen Rider Zero One TV series. I'll tell the fan cast in the next chapter.
- The quotes appear at the end. This chapter has a major Time Paradox happened and it will give the message above. The quotes will be taken from not only the historical figures but anime, manga, movies, TV Shows and videogames.
- Continuity:
The beginning and middle parts of this chapter are somewhat takes place before and during Zero One Others: Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai respectively while the dream that Yua had is a recreated climax scene from Zero One Others: Kamen Rider Vulcan and Valkyrie.
- Deviations from the Zero-0ne's V-Cinexts:
After Horobi and his team fused into Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai. Lyon rejects his wish of becoming the Ark from Azu and shoots her dead by the Solds. Here, Azu became Another Ark-Zero by making a contract from Chronia and kills Lyon successfully in cold blood.
It also prevents the destruction of Horobi, Jin, Naki and Raiden due to the fact Azu destroyed the Massbrain Zetsumerise Key along with MetsubouJinrai Driver. It also caused Solds to be free from the Massbrain System's influence as well.
In the movie, Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai destroyed ZAIA Japan HQ. In this story, Solds destroyed them and they formed a new organisation called Sold Revolution.
Fuwa's ambiguous death is too prevented because Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai no longer exists.
