Hiccup, seven years old, was walking down towards the forge from his house when Snotlout tripped him and began punching him in the face.
Stoick walk onto the scene to see his nephew assaulting his son and remembers the villagers tell him that if he keeps worrying about his son, the other tribes will know he is your weakness.
Hiccup looks at his father through hazel vision and ask "help me, father."
Stoick shakes his head and walks past them.
Snotlout scowls "no one cares to save you, useless."
Astrid takes her wooden sword and breaks it over Snotlout's head and kicks him in the groin.
She drags him up the hill to Gothi to get healed.
Days passed by before Hiccup was clear to leave Gothi's hut.
Astrid visit him everyday.
Hiccup would thank her afterwards by giving her a blue flower tell her "thank you for being a caring friend."
Magnus Hofferson observed Hiccup with his daughter.
Hiccup wasn't becoming a viking like the other children.
Soon Hiccup only had Gobber, Astrid, Gothi as a caring friend.
Gobber took him as his apprentice in the forge last year.
Magnus and Brynhild Hofferson had a son that they named Bryan Hofferson.
Two years and ten months later, Magnus walks down to the forge and says "Gobber, I would like to place an order for my daughter's tenth birthday."
Gobber smiles "of course, Magnus. What weapon would you like me to make?"
Magnus answers "a double bladed axe."
Gobber grins "I'll get on it."
Magnus leaves the forge to go fishing.
Hiccup ask "uh, Gobber? Can I make Astrid's double bladed axe for her birthday?"
Gobber answer "okay, Hiccup. You can build Astrid's birthday present, but I want to see it when it's finished before you deliver it to the Hofferson family."
Hiccup finished repairing weapons that were dented.
Afterwards, he left to go eat lunch in the hall.
Once he was done, he walked back to the forge.
On his way back to the forge, he hears villagers gossip that he isn't a true viking because he doesn't have the physical look.
One gossip comment "I heard his father doesn't want anything to do with him because he doesn't have his father's strength. He's un-viking and doesn't belong in Berk."
Hiccup sighs sadly at feeling alone.
Astrid was off training with her father using a wooden double wood axe.
Hiccup walked inside the forge to his back room and begin sketching a picture of double bladed axe.
After an hour and a half, he sketch the perfect design for the double bladed axe.
He grabbed clay mold and began molding the axe look to balance the blades.
The blades should be small until she gets older and stronger, then he can make one a little stronger and bigger.
After the mold was done, he left the forge, running to the lumber mill to pay for a two foot post.
He spent two weeks carving a criss-cross lines down the handle.
Another week carving the Hofferson family crest at the bottom of the handle and put his initials at the end of the handle.
Another five weeks chisel 'Divine Beauty' on one side and 'Valkyrie' on the other side.
After it was finished, he had Gobber inspect the double bladed axe.
Gobber ask "will it hold up against swords and trees?"
Hiccup nervous answers "yes."
Gobber examine the handle carving design and grins "you have the eye for detail designs."
Three days later, Hiccup struggled carrying Astrid's birthday present to the Hofferson's house and knocked on the Hofferson's front door.
Magnus opens the front door to see Hiccup standing there with a double bladed axe in his hands struggling to hold it.
He scoffs "that axe seems to be too heavy for you to be holding it."
Hiccup smiles "Mr. Hofferson, this is Astrid's birthday present and can you tell her to inspect it closely and give Gobber her review that it's perfect for her liking?
I would also like her to know that she can get free sharpening on it from me before lunch break."
Magnus nods "of course, Hiccup" and gives him twenty gold coins.
After Hiccup left going back to the forge to work.
Magnus walks into the backyard and hands it to his daughter "happy birthday, my little Valkyrie. Hiccup dropped it off and ask you to inspect it very closely and give Gobber a review of it.
He also said bring it by before lunch for free sharpening."
Three days later, a dragon raid happened.
Finn 'Fearless' Hofferson was killed fighting the Flightmare because he froze in fear.
Magnus Hofferson told his daughter "you must rehonor our family name, daughter. You are ordered to break off your friendship with Hiccup because he isn't a viking and unsuitable to be your friend until he becomes a true viking."
Astrid sighs sadly "okay, dad. I'll drop him as a friend."
Next day after lunch, Hiccup found Astrid by the cliff that overlooks the port and ask "how was your day so far, Astrid?"
Astrid sighs "Hiccup? My father told me that we can't be friends anymore because your not a viking. You can't do anything that vikings can do. Your a disappointment to this tribe."
Hiccup gape in shock at Astrid telling him mean things.
Astrid sighs "my uncle died and I have to restore honor to my family name and I can't do that hanging around you. I'm sorry, Hiccup."
She leaves him standing there.
Hiccup watch her leaving and begins crying for a few minutes before his eyes lose emotions in them and his heart fills with darkness.
Every mean thing that the villagers said about him, his father doesn't stand up for him.
His facial expression turns to unbound rage.
Dinner time came, Hiccup finished packing up his things and walked down to the Meade hall to see everyone there and walks up to the head table and stood there.
Stoick notice his son standing in front of him with an angry facial expression on his face and ask "son?"
Hiccup screams "DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME YOUR DAMN SON, STOICK!"
The villagers stop eating to listen to Hiccup scream at his father.
Hiccup scowls "I want to know why you didn't make Snotlout stop attacking me or make the villagers stop insulting me!"
Stoick widen his eyes and sighs "the villagers told me that if I kept worrying about you, it would make me look weak."
Hiccup scowls at him and looks behind towards the villagers and screams "I HATE YOU ALL AND WISH YOU LOSE A LOVE ONE, HUSBAND, WIFE BROTHER OR SISTER BY DRAGONS."
Everyone gasped at Hiccup wishing them to die by dragons.
Hiccup turns to Stoick and scowls "you don't deserve to be called a father! When winter comes, walk yourself to the forest and let the coldness freeze you to death!
I don't want to be your heir anymore, piece of crap. Snotlout is too stupid to be a heir and would only have other tribes bring war because of his attitude. I would have sent anyone who tells me that caring for my baby makes me weak to the healer with a broken jaw!"
Astrid, Chiefs would sign marriage contracts for treaties between tribes, but I don't fucking care anymore about this hateful tribe who only cares about honor and bravery and never cares about love and compassion!
He walks over by Astrid and her parents and scowls "I hope you like your future! Don't expect me to agree to save you from any suitor! I don't need you or want you! There will never be an us!"
Astrid gape in shock and her eyes begin watering at Hiccup's hurtful words.
Hiccup runs out of the meade hall and grabs his basket and dagger and runs into the forest.
