The children turn twelve years old.
Bryan turned five years old.
Hiccup kept a bottle of healing saliva in the forge.
Magnus allow his daughter to be Hiccup's girlfriend after displaying viking trait by shooting an arrow at Snotlout with deadly accuracy.
Two weeks later, Hiccup walked upto the Hofferson's house and to say hi to Astrid when he dropped off her axe to see her more angrier than usual and ask "what's wrong, Astrid?"
Astrid scoffs "something girls go through when we start becoming a woman. You wouldn't understand and I don't want to explain the process to you!"
Hiccup smiles "okay, here's your axe to go kill trees. I hope you get better, milady" and leaves the house fast to get away from an angry Astrid.
Astrid shakes her head at him while shutting the door.
Brynhild sternly tells her daughter "that was uncalled for to talk to Hiccup like that!"
Astrid sighs "mom? I really don't want to explain to my boyfriend about what it takes to make babies."
Bryan sighs "your mean to Hiccup again. One of these days, your going to make a terrible mistake and he'll walk away from you because you talk to him with an attitude like everyone else here!"
Astrid sighs "your right, baby brother."
Night time came, Astrid search for Hiccup at the forge, but Gobber told her that he left to go to the Dragon Sanctuary to check on some dragons.
Next day, Hiccup ran around the village helping villagers with their things such as repair fences, give villagers eels to defend themselves to avoid dealing with Astrid.
Astrid couldn't get a moment to apologize.
Hiccup told her to take a few days to cool off.
Next day, she kept getting blown off and getting angrier at him for avoiding her.
She returned home that night and ask her baby brother "have you talked to Hiccup?"
Bryan answers "yes, I talk to him and the reason why he's been avoiding you was because you yelled at him."
Astrid sighs "he won't give me a chance to apologize."
Two days later, Hiccup was working on a sword in the forge and it was a windy day.
The wind was blowing very strong.
Astrid was towards the forge when her mother ran upto her and ask "do you know where your baby brother is?"
She answers her mom "I saw him practicing with a wooden dagger by the cliff.
Brynhild panics "IN THIS STRONG WIND?!"
She runs to the cliff to see her son practicing his sword swing when a strong wind gust blew Bryan off the cliff and screamed "BRYAN!"
Hiccup grabbed a roll of rope and ran to cliff while making a loop.
He threw it over a tree stump and jump off the cliff to save Bryan.
As Bryan got close to the water, Hiccup wrapped his arms around Bryan's small body as Hiccup's back hits the water hard.
Astrid and Brynhild pull the rope, pulling Hiccup and Bryan back up the cliff.
Villagers gathered around the cliff to see what was going on.
They drag them up on to the ground.
Brynhild checks over Bryan for any injuries.
Astrid scowls "what the heck is wrong with you?! You scared the heck out of me! Jumping off the cliff to rescue my brother!"
Hiccup coughs a little.
Stoick picks him up and carries him to Gothi's hut to get healed.
Astrid ran to the forge to grab his bottle of healing liquid and ran to Gothi's hut.
Once she reach Gothi's hut, Gobber stood outside the hut and stopped her from entering into the hut "wow, lass. You can't go inside there. They have his shirt off."
Astrid panics "I have a bottle of healing liquid to heal Hiccup's wounds."
Gobber sighs "I didn't see you go past me."
Astrid open the door and walked inside the hut to a room to see Hiccup's shirt off and his back bruised from hitting the water hard.
Stoick tells her "he has a couple of cracked ribs."
Astrid tells him "rub this liquid on his back and make him drink a tiny dose of this and he should be heal in a day or two."
Stoick grins "I have to go take care of the village."
Astrid watch him leave the hut instead of staying to care for Hiccup.
She decides to care for Hiccup and rolls him over on his chest to rub the healing saliva on his back.
After rubbing his back, he moans a little bit.
She rolls him over on his back and force him to drink a small doze.
Afterwards, she sat down in a chair and began reading a book.
By afternoon, Brynhild and Magnus brought Bryan to Gothi's hut.
Magnus ask "how is he?"
Astrid answers "touch and go."
Brynhild comments "we owe Hiccup for saving Bryan."
After a few minutes, Magnus and Brynhild leave with Bryan.
Hiccup stirred from getting knocked out from impact to see he's in Gothi's hut and turns to see Astrid sitting in a chair reading a book and comments "your way of apologizing is taking care of me? I feel so loved."
Astrid sets the book down and leans over him and says "you scared the heck out of me jumping off the cliff to save my brother."
Hiccup comments "I wasn't going to let him die even though you have anger issues with communication."
Astrid closes her eyes and kisses his cheek and says "that was for saving my baby brother."
Hiccup grins "your father did say your too young to have a boyfriend right now until you reach fourteen."
A voice interrupts their moment "Astrid? Your father wanted to talk to you alone and he ask me to watch you two to make sure you both don't kiss each other again."
Hiccup and Astrid turn to the voice to see Snotlout and groan in ignorance.
Astrid scowls "my father wouldn't pick you to chaperone us because you grabbed me by my neck and burned down the forge and blamed it on Hiccup, liar."
Snotlout scowls "that was Hiccup who burned down the forge! And he didn't pick me to chaperone you two! I volunteered to watch you two to make sure you two can't make out!"
Astrid kiss Hiccup goodbye.
Snotlout grabs her arm and pull her away from Hiccup "what part of no kissing Hiccup do you not understand?!"
Astrid turns around punching Snotlout in his nose and yells "I'LL KISS HICCUP WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE IT!"
She leaves the hut to go see what her dad wanted to talk to her about.
Snotlout turns back to Hiccup laying on the bed and double checked to make sure she left before cracking his knuckles "you keep winning the Hofferson's favor over me.
Now you saved little Bryan Hofferson instead of letting him die because he would be ignoring brat!"
Hiccup gape in shock at Snotlout wanting to get rid of Astrid's baby brother.
Snotlout walks upto his bedside and scowls before punching him in the face and stomach.
Hiccup punch Snotlout in the right eye before the pain weaken him.
Snotlout scowls "you better leave Astrid alone and stop socializing with her or I'm going to keep hurting you. She is my future wife since I'm the heir! Don't you even tell the Hofferson family or I'll attack little Bryan that you care for."
He leaves the hut after a few more punches to his chest.
Hiccup groans in pain.
Unknown to Snotlout or Hiccup, Gothi was outside the room listening to Snotlout's threats and hid when Snotlout walked out of the rooms.
She walked in the room to see Hiccup sporting bruises on his stomach and face.
Ten minutes later, Astrid walked inside to see Hiccup's new bruises and was livid.
She turns Gothi demanding an answers.
Gothi scribble in sand.
Gobber came in the room to check on Hiccup to see Gothi scribble in sand and translates it "she says that Snotlout started hitting him because he was winning your parent's approval. He told Hiccup to leave you.
He wanted your baby brother to die in the waves hitting the rock wall. If Hiccup didn't leave you, he'll attack Bryan."
Astrid turns around beyond livid and runs home.
Hiccup groans "Gobber, take me to the forge."
Gobber ask "why the forge?"
Hiccup groans "because I need twenty four hour care until I heal and then I'm going to straight up kick the crap out of Snotlout. These villagers want to the see me be a true viking, then they better get ready to see a monster."
(In Hofferson's house)
Astrid tells her parents "Snotlout attacked Hiccup and threatened Bryan."
Magnus and Brynhild ask "Snotlout did what?!"
Astrid sighs "Snotlout beat up Hiccup as a warning to stay away from me and threatened to harm my baby brother. He even told Hiccup that he wanted Bryan to die in waves crash against wall."
Magnus scoffs "that boy shows no honor, attacking an injured boy and threatening a child. I'm going to have a talk with Stoick"and leaves the house.
Brynhild sternly says "Spitelout can send marriage contracts all he wants now because after he wanted our child to die like that, we refuse to accept his marriage contracts."
Astrid points out "Hiccup wish us die by dragons. Isn't that the same thing?"
Brynhild shakes her head "no, daughter. Hiccup said that out rage because we abandoned him and made him feel unloved. Which comes from pain of being alone.
He earned our forgiveness during winter storm when he went to our house to take care of you and not take your purity."
Astrid nods her head in understanding.
Brynhild grins "and he saved your baby brother, so he basically won your hand in marriage."
Astrid blushes "mom. Not ready for marriage yet."
Bryan laughs "can I be included in the wedding?"
Astrid shakes her head at her little brother "I think you should ask Hiccup about that."
Bryan grins "he wouldn't mind, he would tell me to ask you for position in your wedding ceremony."
(With Magnus)
Magnus walked upto Stoick and says "your nephew assaulted Hiccup inside Gothi's hut and threatened my son! As of right now, Hiccup has won my daughter's hand in marriage by saving my son, Bryan."
Stoick gape "Snotlout did what?"
Magnus scoffs "he attacked Hiccup in Gothi's hut."
Stoick ran to Gothi's hut.
He arrived at Gothi's hut to see Hiccup gone along with Gobber.
He ran to the forge to see Gobber working and Hiccup in the back room resting on bed.
Gobber comments "he said that after he's healed "Snotlout is going to get a beating."
A few hours later, Astrid walked inside the forge to see Hiccup resting and says "Gobber, Hiccup isn't safe here."
Gobber grins "I know that, lass."
Astrid sternly says "when he wakes up, tell him to come to my house. He's welcome to room with my baby brother."
Night time came when Hiccup moved into Bryan's bedroom to sleep on a bed roll on the floor.
Three Days later, Hiccup walked into the hall in front of a few villagers and grabbed Snotlout from his seat and dragged him outside.
He slammed his head on the ground and kicked him in the face.
He begins punching Snotlout in his face.
Snotlout punch Hiccup to knock him off and began to get up.
Hiccup kicked Snotlout in his back before standing up and spear him to knock him down and begin punching him in the back of his head.
He grabs Snotlout's right arm and kicks him in his chest.
Snotlout coughs in pain.
Hiccup drags him to the steps and begins slamming his arm on them.
Snotlout yells in pain.
Villagers stare in shock that Hiccup was destroying Snotlout.
Hiccup scowls "you think you can beat the crap out of an injured boy for the fun. I'm going to beat the crap out of you and when I get done, this tribe will know why I don't show my viking side!"
Snotlout begs "I'm sorry, Hiccup."
Hiccup kicks him in his stomach.
He turns to the villagers and screams "ahhh!"
They back away from him scared.
Hiccup punch Snotlout in the forehead knocking him out cold and punch him in his groin hard for good measure.
He walks to the cliffside and sits there staring at the ocean.
