Darkness followed the Hofferson family to their home.

He ask "are you sure your okay with me rooming with Bryan?"

Magnus answers "yes, now that we know who you really are and that you would come to protect our son from Snotlout. I'm more concerned about my daughter sneaking in her brother's room to snuggle with you."

Astrid blushes "dad!"

Brynhild laughs "daughter, your sixteen. You could give into your hormones and ask him to make love to you."

Astrid shakes her head at her parent's comments.

Hiccup comments "they got a point. One time I visited this village and this boy and girl were friends and the girl ended the friendship because of her father.

They ended up getting back together at sixteen and she told him to make love to her to solidify their relationship. She ended up asking him to make love to her a couple of times. When her father found out, the boy decided to marry her."

Astrid ask "how did the father find out?"

Hiccup answers "she got sick and the mother noticed some symptoms with her and developed a bump on her stomach."

Brynhild gape "he got her pregnant?!"

Hiccup answers "they made love four times, once a week."

Magnus ask "how did you find out?"

Hiccup grins "I kinda made their rings since I was educated a little in blacksmithing. The boy told me that the rings needed a big diamond for him to keep his head and weapons to sell to offer a gold to buy her."

They arrived at the Hofferson's house.

Hiccup walks over to the shed to see Toothless and Stormfly sleeping and grabs his travel basket of clothes.

He heads inside the Hofferson's house upstairs to Bryan's bedroom.

Bryan grins "we're going to stay up and talk about your adventures!"

Hiccup shakes his head "very funny little brother, but you would be too tired to do anything tomorrow."

Bryan sighs "your right, big brother."

They change into their pajamas and head to bed.

Hiccup tells Astrid goodnight.

Three hours later in the night, a boy slides Astrid's window opened and sneaks in the room.

Hiccup wakes up from a nightmare of Astrid choosing Snotlout over him to save her parents from being torture.

He gets up off the floor and steps outside of Bryan's room.

(Inside Astrid's bedroom)

The boy slaps Astrid awake and puts his hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming and threatened "if you keep screaming, I'll gag you. Your brother cost me the position of heir and my revenge is taking your purity."

(Outside in the hallway)

Hiccup groans remembering the painful moments of getting heartbroken by the villagers to hear voice inside Astrid's bedroom that wasn't hers and opens the door and lights his sword on fire to light up the room to see Snotlout laying on Astrid.

Snotlout turns to the light to see Darkness holding a flaming sword and gasped in shock.

Astrid lights a candle beside her bed.

Hiccup sheaths the sword and lunged at Snotlout banging his head against the wall and punches him into unconscious.

Astrid stared in shock of what happened in front of her.

Hiccup locks the window and drags Snotlout out of the house and locks the door.

He leans against the door shaking his head and walks upstairs to Bryan's bedroom.

Astrid put out her candle and walked over to her brother's bedroom to see Hiccup walking up the stairs.

Hiccup whispers "are you okay?"

Astrid shakes her head "no."

Hiccup sighs "neither am I."

Astrid whispers "what are you doing awake?"

Hiccup answers "woke up from dreaming about hearing you accept marrying Snotlout to save your parents from being torture. Remembering the moments of getting heartbroken by the villagers."

Astrid grabs his arm and leads him inside her brother's bedroom and sits down on the makeshift bed.

Hiccup joins her on the floor.

Astrid begins to cry "I'm so sorry for causing you so much heartache for six years, Hiccup. I don't know why you still come to my rescue."

Hiccup sighs "I love you, Astrid even if you hurt me. I can't stand to watch you get torture by my sychotic cousin."

They lay down on the sheet.

Astrid whispers "I love you too, Hiccup" snuggle against his chest.

In the morning, Bryan woke up excited about wanting a dragon.

He looks down on the floor to see his sister laying on the floor sleeping next to Hiccup and laughs "oh boy, I wonder what happened last night for her to come in here."

An hour later, Brynhild got up and check on the kids to see her daughter not still in her bed and check on her son.

Bryan puts his finger to his mouth to signal be quiet.

Brynhild looks down at the floor to see Hiccup and her missing daughter.

She leaves the room and walks downstairs to make breakfast.

Ten minutes later, Magnus wakes up and comes downstairs to drink tea.

Bryan comes downstairs to have breakfast.

Brynhild ask "son? Did Astrid room with you and Hiccup last night after we went to bed?"

Bryan answers "no, mom. I don't know why she was laying on the floor with Hiccup."

Magnus gape in shock and looks up towards the stairs in wonder.

(In Bryan's bedroom)

Hiccup groans waking up and sighs "I'll probably be announced as heir again."

Astrid stirs "is that a bad thing?"

Hiccup answers "it is when no one knows I'm here in disguise."

Astrid comments "I don't think you would be announced as heir. I think they would announce me as heir."

She gets up and walks over to her bedroom and change out of her pajamas.

Hiccup changed out of his pajamas and into clothes.

Him and Astrid came out of the bedrooms and walked downstairs to have breakfast.

While the kids ate oatmeal for breakfast, Magnus stare at Hiccup and Astrid.

Brynhild bump her husband's shoulder and says "ask him."

Magnus sighs and ask "Hiccup? Is there a reason why Astrid would be sleeping next to you on the floor in her brother's bedroom?"

Hiccup answers "Snotlout climbed in through her window to get assault her while everyone was sleeping."

Brynhild gets up and hugs her daughter "oh my baby girl!"

Magnus ask "how did you know?"

Hiccup answers "I woke up from a nightmare and walk out to clear my head remembering memories of villagers make me feel like an outcast with no feeling of knowing what it feels like being loved and being part of a tribe or family.

I heard a voice that wasn't Astrid's and walked inside with a flaming sword to see Snotlout and I attacked him. I dragged him out of her room, down the stairs and left him outside.

Astrid asked me how I knew she was in trouble. I told her that I woke up from a nightmare. We told each other that we love each other and went to sleep."

Magnus scowls "that boy shows no honor or respect sneaking into a girl's bedroom through her window to assault her. I won't be signing any marriage contract from Spitelout after this.

When is Stoick going to write up a marriage contract for you to marry my daughter, Hiccup?"

Hiccup bows his head "I thought he wrote one after winter season when I stayed here with Astrid while everyone was in the Meade hall."

Magnus shakes his head "Snotlout cause a bunch of problems to keep him from writing up a marriage contract."

Hiccup sighs "do you have one on hand?"

Magnus comments "your a minor so I doubt the council or Stoick would approve it after he sees it."

Hiccup points out "actually I could if Astrid signs too. We can add things like rules for us follow and stuff."

Brynhild ask "how do you figure that?"

Hiccup nervous answers "I pay both parts of the marriage contract out of my pocket without Stoick paying it. It falls under the clause of me being disowned and the girl's parents like the boy."

Magnus ask "and where did you find that law rule?"

Hiccup grins "a chief told me that and it's on Berk law book under desperate loopholes for marriage."

After eating breakfast, Hiccup and Astrid leave with Bryan to go do their things.

Snotlout left sometime in the middle of the night.

Astrid followed Darkness and took their dragons to go flying around.

After the flight, Hiccup went to the forge to work. Astrid waited in the back room.

Gobber noticed Darkness forging work was same as Hiccup's and ask in a whisper "Hiccup?"

Hiccup tells him "I don't want the villagers to know who I am."

Gobber comments "your father should at least know who you are."

Hiccup shakes his head "if I reveal myself now, he would make me heir, then Snotlout would challenge me for heir and Astrid's hand in marriage."

Last night, he snuck into Astrid's bedroom window to try and rape her for revenge while everyone else was sleeping except me."

Gobber ask "Snotlout tried to rape Astrid last night?"

Hiccup comments "it's why she's in my back room because she doesn't want to leave my side."

Fishlegs, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut arrived at the forge.

Snotlout ask "Darkness? Have you seen Astrid around? I didn't see her around the village and her parents won't tell me where she is or her little brother.

Her father told me that if I touch his daughter again, he was going to strap me with a whip."

Darkness ask "Ruffnut? Snotlout didn't you tell you or Fishlegs that he tried to rape Astrid last night and he's lucky that I interrupted him because Magnus would have stabbed him with a dagger."

Snotlout scowls "your going to pay for that!"

Hiccup grins "am I? Because the last I check you deserve those beatings and if you try to rape Astrid or any girl, I will cut off your baby maker and break your arms in two with a door and ship you to Dragon Nest to die."

Fishlegs comments "your really stupid, Snotlout going after Astrid."

Ruffnut kicks Snotlout in the groin as a lesson. Astrid grabs a hammer and charge dropping the hammer onto Snotlout's sore groin.

Snotlout screams loud in pain.

Darkness smirks "that's my girlfriend."

Astrid turns to Hiccup and smirks "you better believe I'm your girlfriend, mister."

"SNOTLOUT!!"

The teens turn to Stoick.

Stoick scowls "Magnus informed the council members that Darkness stopped you from raping his daughter last night in his house!

The council members have agreed that if Hiccup returns, you can't challenge him to a duel for heir because they stripped you of credit to challenge him and your father was told by others that they won't sign a marriage contract with him."

Snotlout grumbles.

Astrid returns inside the forge and grabs Hiccup by his collar and kisses his lips.

The visiting horn blew.

Stoick comments "that's the Meathead Tribe and Bog Burglar Tribe arriving."

Hiccup turns to Astrid and says "I left somethings at the Dragon Sanctuary that I need. I should be back in about two hours and ten minutes."

Fishlegs comments "don't worry Darkness, we'll protect her from Snotlout."

Hiccup leaves on Toothless heading to the dragon Sanctuary.

While Hiccup left, Astrid left with Fishlegs and Tuffnut and Ruffnut since Snotlout was carried to Gothi's hut for groin injury.

Stoick welcome Mogadon and Thuggory to Berk along with Bertha Burglar and her daughter Camicazi.

Camicazi ask "has any you heard of a Darkness?"

Thuggory comments "I hope he's not here."

Astrid ask "and why is that?"

Thuggory grins "he's broken girl's hearts after sleeping with them!"

Camicazi corrects him "Thuggory, that's a rumor!"

Astrid nervous about it.

Two hours later, Hiccup returns on Toothless with a few surprises.

He walks in the Meade hall to see them having lunch.

Magnus was at the head table on the right side of his father and Spitelout on the left.

Mogadon ask "since Snotlout is no longer heir, is Astrid going to be your heir because I'll sign a marriage contract for her to marry my-"

Darkness interrupts "excuse me, Chief Mogadon, but I'm sorry to tell you this, Astrid is already betrothed to me and here's payment, Magnus" setting two bags in front of him.

Stoick gape "now wait a minute. What is this Magnus?"

Magnus answers "Darkness proposed to my daughter yesterday after giving her a new double bladed axe and a Deadly Nadder as gifts for her bride price. And this morning, he wanted to pay bride price out of his pocket."

Mogadon ask "and what is your daughter bride price?"

Magnus answers "four hundred gold coins and a set of weapons and Darkness, our tradition is that you have to kill a bad dragon."

Darkness grins "well if you want to see my dead dragon, that's on dragon island."

Stoick widen his eyes "you been to the nest?"

Darkness grins "yes and you would need me to get you to the nest."

Mogadon ask "and why would they need you?"

Darkness grins "dragon guards will attack unless they see me and my Night Fury."

Magnus looks in the bags and comments "uh, Darkness, this looks like three hundred gold coins in both bags."

Darkness answers "each pouch holds fifty gold coins. So there's six of them in each bag which makes six hundred gold coins and I have one more gift for Astrid."

Astrid walked upto the head table and ask "what other gift did you get me?"

Darkness feels around his back to see the terror gone and looks around before everyone gasp at seeing what was on Astrid's forehead.

Darkness grins "it seems your gift found you."

Astrid reaches up and pull a purple Terrible terror off her head.

Darkness comments "she doesn't have a name and she likes to swim in water sometimes."

Astrid grins "Rivera is what I'll name her."

Rivera chirped and nuzzle in her neck.

Mogadon comments "a heir can challenge your engagement because your commoner."

Darkness sternly says "Mogadon, back down. I don't want to beat up a Thuggory to submit Astrid as my fiance."

Astrid grins "he's so hot."

Darkness smirks grabbing her waist "am I now?"

He kisses her lips causing her to blush.

Stoick comments "Mogadon? You came here to discuss your dragon problem."

Mogadon answers "yes, it seems that Dagur has got his hands on a Skrill and using it to force us to sign a peace treaty that states we bow to him or he destroys our tribe."

Darkness shakes his head "looks like I'm going to have to straightened Dagur out."

Hiccup sits down to eat lunch.

Camicazi ask "so you two are engaged now?"

Astrid smiles "yep."

Thuggory ask "where's that boy who was telling boys that Astrid was his future wife?"

Darkness answers "he suffered an injury."

Thuggory looks closer at Darkness and says "you look like someone who disappeared four years ago."
