Chapter 33

Capsule Corp

The door shut behind Dr. Brief as he helped his wife towards their room. Panchy still wasn't feeling well, her head was swimming and her mind was racing, but at the same time, she felt better than she had since, well, since as long as she could remember. She had lost her baby girl, her brilliant, beautiful, baby girl, and now, by a fluke of reality, she found out, Bulma, Bulma is alive. She's alone, forced to work, forced to invent, but, but she's alive, and her husband, Bulma's friends, family, were coming to get her. How long would it be, how long until she'd be able to tuck her girl in? It wouldn't be tonight, it was too long, but, but it was coming, and while she couldn't influence it, she knew she couldn't, she'd still push as much as she could, as hard as she could. She pushed for hours to bring Bulma into this world, and she'd push for, for years, if that's what it took to get her back.

Loa felt for the woman. She reflected back to when she learned her world was no more, her partner, her heart, was gone. While she had learned to keep going, move from day to day, the pain hadn't really ever left, and now it was brought back, fresh. Not because of the pain Panchy felt, but because of the hope, a hope that she had given up ages ago, just to reclaim for, what, a few months? And then, like a dream, it was gone again. She needed to be alone, and nowhere would be better to be alone than with Piccolo.

"I'm going to the Lookout." She said to Chiaotzu. "I need some air." Shaking her head she rose slowly towards the sky.

"Can I come with you?" Chiaotzu asked. "I, I don't really have anywhere..."

"Of course." Loa didn't let him finish the thought. "Wherever I am, you are welcome, and I'm sure Piccolo wouldn't mind having you back."

"Thanks." Chiaotzu smiled as he paced himself with Loa's ascent. Looking back for a moment he waved to the others, before the pair took off back towards their newest home. "Did I leave the hose on?" He asked himself.

Nappa nodded to Chiaotzu as he waved, before turning back to the group. Raditz was still there, but aside from him it looked to be mostly humans. "Turles is helping Kakarot, the psychics are training." He glanced at the remaining group. "What do you plan to do?"

"He prefers Goku." Raditz said. "And, training, I suppose. If we're going back into space, we need to be prepared." A shiver ran down his spine. "King Cold, is still alive. Do you think he's as bad as they used to say?"

"He's Kakarot until he tells me otherwise." Nappa asserted. "He's not like any other Saiyan I've ever met, but he's still a Saiyan. As for King Cold, I hope not." He shook his head. "Rumors can't be trusted, but, this isn't a rumor. Did you ever hear how us Saiyans learned that Arcosians could transform too?"

"I assumed it was based on how different Frieza looked from the rest of his family?" Raditz cupped his chin. "I don't look much like my father, but the resemblance is there. Goku is the spitting image of our father, and Turles, Vegeta is the spitting image of his father, and his bro..."

"And that's not right." Nappa cut Raditz off. "Well, it's a good hint, but it's not proof. King Vegeta is the one that found out." He crossed his arms and looked down at the shorter Saiyan. "King Cold summoned him for a meeting, on Arcosia."

Raditz's jaw dropped. "He went to Arcosia?"

"Not officially." Nappa clarified. "Well, officially, but the records were, uh, lost? When he arrived at Cold's palace he was made to wait in the guest quarters, with a view of the gardens. He saw Frieza and his father down below, Frieza was attacking Cold. Cold barely needed to lift a finger to stop his son. In front of his eyes Frieza transformed, grew far, far larger, nearly matched his father in bulk. He figured Cold is always in this second form. Anyway, Frieza kept attacking, still no result. Vegeta, King Vegeta that is, saw Frieza transform three times, grow far, far more powerful than he ever let on, and still, King Cold was unbeaten."

"So, King Cold is beyond Frieza?" Raditz asked.

Nappa frowned. "King Cold in his second form, matched Frieza in his fourth form."

Raditz thought for a moment. "But if he only has two more forms?"

"Three more forms." Nappa said. "Frieza only transformed three times. Cooler's typical form was similar to Frieza's fourth, and he went a level beyond that." He sighed and shook his head. "If Cold grows in power with each transformation at the same rate as his sons, well, we're going to need to get real, real lucky."

"So, what do we do?" Raditz asked his elder. "Also, how did you hear about all that?"

"I was Prince Vegeta's personal bodyguard, I never left his side. Normally this kind of conversation would get me killed, but, there's no more King Vegeta to betray, and the Arcosians would kill us on site anyway, so, I guess I don't see a reason for secrecy anymore.." The giant shrugged. "Also, you had the right idea. Train. We have a month, and you have a lot of catching up to do. No offense, we all do. But, the sooner you start, the better."

"And what are you going to do?" Raditz asked.

"I'm going to find Vegeta." Nappa chuckled to himself. "I'm going to see if I can talk some sense into him." He kicked off the ground, and Raditz followed.

Raditz nodded as the pair rose into the air. 'Hey, Nappa, one more question."

"What's that?" Nappa asked as he began feeling for Vegeta's energy."

"If Vegeta was, is, so much stronger than you, and at the time any other Saiyan as well." Raditz spoke as he got his bearings and figured out where home was. "Why did he need you as a bodyguard?"

Nappa rolled his eyes as he turned towards Vegeta's direction. "Good bye, Raditz. I'll join you when I can."

Over the ocean

The water was still moving, but not nearly as much as moments ago. Turles and Goku hovered across from each other. Turles was panting from the brief exchange of blows, and Goku was still hot blooded, but cooling down.

"What about her?" Goku asked his uncle. "What about Chi-Chi?"

"What do you see in her?" Turles crossed his arms, maintaining eye contact with Goku.

Goku closed his eyes for a moment. He thought back to when he first met Chi-Chi, to the tournament they fought in, to the birth of their son. "She's like me." He said. "When I was young I was raised by a human, Grampa Gohan."

"Your son is named after him?" Turles asked.

"Yeah." Goku nodded. "When I was still young, I transformed one night, and in the morning I was alone." He rubbed his eyes. "I was alone for years, until I met Bulma. Bulma was, is, great, but she's, she's Bulma. We went on a journey, for the dragon balls, and that's when I met Chi-Chi." He remembered his uncouth behavior and a smile creased his lips for a moment. "The first time I used the Kamehameha was in front of her. Master Roshi used it, and let me try. He really didn't expect me to get it on the first attempt."

"That's your Saiyan genes." Turles smiled. "Some species struggle to control ki, like most humans I'd imagine. Saiyans though, it's literal child's play. I learned to fly long, long before I learned to walk, and Raditz was the same. Can she use ki?"

"Not really." Goku said. "When she was a girl she had this helmet, and she could focus her ki through it to shoot a beam, but no, she can't really use her ki, not like we can."

"You should teach her to fly." Turles said. "I couldn't imagine being ground bound. Anyway, you said she's like you?"

"She's strong." Goku looked towards the sky. "Not like us, well, not compared to us, but compared to everyone else? Yeah, she's one of the strongest humans in the world, and I'd imagine anyone stronger than her is either a friend or family member." He cupped his chin and mentally listed all the humans he knew stronger than Chi-Chi, and it was a very short list. "If Piccolo and I didn't enter the World Martial Arts Tournament, I think the 23rd, then she would have won." He leaned back, hovering slightly over the waves. "Back then things were a lot simpler. Krillen, Yamcha, Tien, Master Roshi, they were all just about as powerful as each other, and Chi-Chi. She got really unlucky coming against me in the quarter finals."

"Your wife, was a fighter?" Turles leaned back in the same manner Goku did. There were clouds in the sky, but nothing worth studying in any level of detail.

"She could fight, but no, she wasn't a fighter then, and she's not one now." Goku noted the sun was beginning to get close to the horizon.

"Why was she in a tournament?" Turles looked at his nephew.

"Because of me." Goku chuckled. "When we first met, I promised her a marriage. I didn't know what it was, no one ever told me about that stuff. I thought it was a food, or a feast, or something. Something you'd do to celebrate acquiring a dragon ball, or putting out a massive fire." He closed his eyes, basking in the last bit of direct light he'd get for the day. "I forgot all about it, to be honest. She entered the tournament to meet me again, to make me keep my promise."

"Did she beat you?" Turles chuckled. "A human?"

"Tien beat me, Master Roshi beat me, and Yamcha nearly beat me. I wasn't what I am now. I, I was just a person. I had a tail, but I wasn't really, well, me." A tear slipped down Goku's cheek. "I beat her, and don't tell her, but it wasn't really that hard, not at that point. But, I admired her, her determination, her drive, her strength, inner and outer. When I figured out what marriage really was, I wanted to do it, with her."

Turles lifted his head to study Goku. 'Uh, you wanted to, do it, with her? You know, you don't need to marry..."

"No, I wanted to marry her." Goku said. "I wanted to join her, have her as my partner. We would face life, head on, together." He looked at Turles. "Together, we would win. I didn't know what it would be that we'd win, but with her by my side, we couldn't lose."

"If you couldn't lose with her, how did you lose her?" Turles tried maintaining eye contact, but when Goku looked away, he did as well.

"I don't know." Goku kicked his boot backwards, splashing the water.

"What kind of answer is that?" Turles asked. "You don't know? Really?"

"What do you mean?" Goku kicked the water again.

"You can't lose with her by your side. You lost her. Why?" Turles lowered himself slightly, dipping the back of his head into the water. The cold, now gentle lapping, waves relaxed him.

Goku took a deep breath. What happened? They went to Namek, and Chi-Chi didn't come with them. She was okay with that though, right? Well, after Namek, they, they... "I left." Goku said.

"You didn't lose her." Turles said. "She lost you."

"She lost me, and I took Gohan with me." Goku acknowledged. "If I talked to her, told her what was happening, she probably..."

"Doesn't matter." Turles butted in. "What she probably would have done, doesn't matter. She didn't have a choice." He took a deep breath. "Even if she would have chosen to stay on Earth, it doesn't matter. Because she didn't get to choose."

"But if she came with us..." Goku trailed off. "There were times when I thought I was going to die. I couldn't have kept her safe."

"So?" Turles asked. "That doesn't matter." He cleared his throat. "Well, it matters, but not anymore. You're fine, Gohan is fine, you can't say that she wouldn't have been fine, and even if you could, that's not the point. The point is, you didn't give her a choice. You didn't include her. She wasn't your partner when you made that choice for her."

"It was to help her, to keep her safe." Goku said. "She could have died, and then what would I, what would Gohan, have come home to?"

Turles sat up and swung around to be near Goku's feet. "Gohan could have died. If he transformed in the ship? There's nothing you could have done. If he blew up the planet you were on? There's nothing you could have done. He could have died, you could have died. Then where would she be?" He shook his head. "You're worried about, what if Chi-Chi died, what would happen to you and Gohan? What if you or Gohan died in space, what would happen to her?"

Goku sat up to match his uncle. "She would have been on Earth, safe. She has her father, she has everyone, everything, here. She would have kept living."

"When would she have kept living? What kind of life would she be living?" Turles braced himself, fists on knees.

"What do you mean?" Goku hunched over, resting his head in his palm, and his elbow on his leg.

"Her husband would be dead, her child would be dead." Turles shook his head in disapproval. "Or, how about, how would she even know? How long did you expect her to wait? With no communication."

"Well." Goku scratched the back of his head. "I didn't really think..."

"No, you didn't." Turles pressed. "You're lucky you have a great woman there." He smiled. "With my incredible good looks, Gohan could have come home and met his new half sibling slash second cousin? First cousin once removed? You get the point."

"So, I didn't lose her." Goku said. "She lost me, but she waited."

"Yeeeees." Turles drew out the word.

"But, she threw away her ring." Tears began flowing freely from Goku's eyes. "She, she told me not to go home."

"Yeah, she did." Turles said. "And you need to respect that." He let out a long breath. "She may have been hurt, pissed, and acting with partial information, but she expressed herself very, very clearly."

"So, what do I do?" Goku asked.

"How the fuck would I know." Turles exclaimed. "I'm not married, I don't have a kid." He chuckled. " That I know about anyway, but I know what you shouldn't do. Don't go home, don't force the issue. She waited for you, and she would have accepted you back with open arms, she clearly wanted to, but when you took one major choice from her, you took that option off the table. Well, she waited, now it's your turn."

The sun was half way hidden behind the horizon now. Half of the sky was lit up red and orange. A fine green line kept the heavens from the oceans, and purple faded to deep blue across the other half of the soon to be night sky.

"If I were you." Turles said. "I'd crash at Master Roshi's, or Dr. Brief's, or the Lookout, or Krillen's. Huh, I guess there are a lot of places. But, just, go on with your life. If she wants you back, and I think she will, then she can find you."

"What about Gohan?" Goku asked. "What happens to him?"

"You know Chi-Chi is more than capable of taking care of him by herself." Turles said. "His martial arts training may fall behind, but he'll be fine."

"I meant, what about..." Goku started.

"What about you? I told you, you just keep living your life. If Chi-Chi wants you back, she'll be able to find you. Gohan is in good hands with her." He rubbed his eyes as the sun finally disappeared. "I can talk to Gohan if you like, make sure he has the option to come visit you, but that is his choice, not yours, not Chi-Chi's."

"So, I just need to wait?" Goku asked.

"If you want Chi-Chi, then that's your only option." Turles frowned. "How does it feel not having a choice?"

"Not good." Goku leaned back again, watching as stars popped out as the sky continued to darken.

"You're not much of a Saiyan." Turles chuckled. "And neither am I."

"Well, I'm an Earth raised Saiyan." Goku said.

"That's obvious." Turles said. "A true Saiyan would never let a human control him, not like that. How hard would it be for you to assert your will here? You are literally the most powerful being on the planet, likely in the galaxy, if not universe. If you want your home back, you could just go take it."

"No." Goku said. "I couldn't."

"As if she, or anyone, could stop you." Turles sharply exhaled.

"I couldn't." Goku said. "I want her back, how she was. Yes, physically I could do whatever I want, but she wouldn't love me at that point. I wouldn't love me at that point."

"You're a good kid." Turles said. "A pathetic Saiyan, but a good man. A stupid man, but a good man." He chuckled to himself.

"Hey, I resemble that remark!" Goku exclaimed, chuckling himself. "I think I'm going to see if Master Roshi will take me in. What are you going to do? Actually, what have you been doing? Do you have a house?" Goku rose vertically and began stretching for the flight ahead.

"Nappa, Raditz, Vegeta, and I have been hunkering down on Mount Paozu. On the other side from where you live." Turles joined Goku in his stretching. "I doubt Vegeta will be back, but that just means more room for the rest of us. You're welcome to join us, and I'd actually request that you do. I've been training them, but like I said, they, and I, haven't made nearly as much progress as you have,"

"A little training really wouldn't hurt." Goku agreed. "I may come by tomorrow." He nodded as he began rising further into the sky.

"I'd offer you a bed." Turles said. 'But if Vegeta comes back, we wouldn't have enough room."

"That's okay." Goku said. "No offense, but I think I'd rather stay with Master Roshi than, uh, well, no nice way to put this. I'd rather stay with Master Roshi, someone I've known for nearly as long as anyone else, than Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa."

"Sooner or later you should talk to Raditz, and Nappa." Turles said. "Your son is already figuring it out. Raditz, Nappa, and even Vegeta, they're a product of their circumstances."

"You think that if Vegeta was sent to Earth as a kid, he would have turned out like me?" Goku asked with disbelief.

"No, he'd still be a dick." Turles laughed. "But, if you were raised like them, like us, I bet you would be to. At least Raditz, and Nappa, both of them are trying."

Holly Plain

The ground was as unmarred and pristine as the sky above it. Covered in a thick blanket of snow, it was as white as the heavens were blue. Just over one horizon a cluster of small buildings formed a remote village, and over another a destroyed tower protruded from nature, a monumental headstone for the soldiers who lost their lives there.

Vegeta was unaware of any Earth history. He didn't know, nor did he care, about the Red Ribbon Army, their hunt for the dragon balls, or their defeat at Muscle Tower. He did however sense the area he found himself in hosted a battle. While nothing compared to the wars he found himself in, there was something to be said about the acts of primitive species using what essentially boils down to basic chemistry to launch chunks of their planet at each other.

Even without becoming an Oozaru, he knew he could throw any rock harder, faster, and further, than any so called weapon. So, while the blood shed here was done so in such a crude manner, it was still bloodshed, and still a familiar setting for him.

Vegeta pushed more energy into his aura. He didn't care if it made him easy to find, it kept him warm. He had found some light clothing on a line, that he quickly claimed for himself, but it wasn't warm. And despite how little he'd like to admit it, he was a little chilly, and clothes, even from Earth, would keep him warm and comfortable.

Following Vegeta's energy, Nappa had no trouble finding the former prince. Keeping his energy high, as high as he could muster anyway, Nappa knew that Vegeta would either lower his power or move if he didn't want to be found. With no trace of Vegeta moving, Nappa continued his approach, soon landing a dozen feet away from his former ruler.

Vegeta crossed his arms and turned his back on his comrade. "What do you want, Nappa?"

Nappa shook his head. Vegeta was strong, but the prince of nothing. This kind of behavior was expected from him as a child, but now? Now it just left a bad taste in his mouth. "King Cold is still alive. Frieza, is still alive."

"So what." Vegeta said. "Let the Super Saiyan have the victory. He stole Frieza from me. He stole Cooler from me. Let him steel Cold as well."

"You don't want revenge?" Nappa asked. "Frieza is alive. Frieza is mortal. A Saiyan can become stronger than him. A Saiyan has killed him once. You don't want to put the final nail in his coffin?"

"Nappa." Vegeta barked, turning back towards the far larger warrior. "Kakarot has become the Super Saiyan. THE, Super Saiyan. The legend says it will only happen once, ONE TIME, every thousand years." He spat. "I don't know how old you plan to live, but the legend has been fulfilled, and it wasn't by us, us true Saiyans."

"Bullshit." Nappa said, now crossing his arms. "The legend is wrong. There are two Super Saiyans already, and there is no reason there can't be more. When Raditz came to Earth, he dominated Kakarot. Now, Kakarot destroyed Cooler while barely trying. Why wouldn't we be able to make the same progress?"

"Two?" Vegeta's jaw dropped. "What do you mean, two Super Saiyans?"

Nappa scratched the back of his head. "Well, I guess you weren't there for that, uh, chat." He awkwardly laughed. "On Namek, Frieza killed Kakarot. Gohan transformed, and he's the one who beat, killed, Frieza. Kakarot didn't achieve the form until they left Namek and trained on their own."

"WHAT?" Vegeta shouted. "The BRAT? THE CHILD?" The snow around him began to be blown away. "Not the third class trash, but the half breed spawn of a nobody, became the SUPER SAIYAN?" The snow under him, that couldn't escape, liquefied.

Nappa took a step back and put his hands up defensively. Even after all his training, Vegeta was out of his league. "My point is." He began. "If the boy is the Super Saiyan, the once in a thousand year legend, then what is his father? If two can do it, then anyone can do it!"

"IT'S IN THEIR BLOOD!" Vegeta shouted. "I, I am Vegeta! Son of Vegeta, grandson of Vegeta, and great, and I mean GREAT grandson of Vegeta." His aura widened, and the remaining snow around him turned to steam. "My blood is pure! I am the result of FOUR GENERATIONS of selective breeding, to ensure that I, I, am the most powerful Saiyan, the Saiyan who holds true to our values, the Saiyan who will unshackle ourselves from Frieza." He pulsed his aura and another cloud of steam rose around him, making it appear as if he was drenched in sweat. "That, Nappa, THAT is MY destiny. MY destiny was STOLEN by a child."

"YOUR destiny!" Nappa shouted back. "Was surrendered by YOU!" He stepped forward, using his ki to levitate over the snow pit. "On your orders we came to Earth. On your orders we fought Kakarot and his family. On your orders you, and I, died." He looked down on his former leader. "You lead us to near extinction! For too long there were only TWO Saiyans, and we only knew about one of them, and his son. If it weren't for a complete fluke, we would still be dead, and you know what? The world would keep on turning, with or without us."

Vegeta sunk his fist into Nappa's stomach. "How dare you. How, fucking, dare you!" He shoved Nappa into the air, and kicked him upwards into the sky. Using his flight to keep up with Nappa, Vegeta continued punching him higher and higher as he spoke. "I am the PRINCE! You do NOT question me! You will SUFFER for speaking out of line, and you will THANK ME for not just KILLING you where you lay when I'm done with you!" Finishing his rage fueled outburst with a flip kick, Vegeta sent his target to the ground.

Nappa caught himself a few inches before impacting the ground. A small circle of snow shot out in all directions, in a fine wave. "THEN ACT LIKE IT!" He bellowed as he rotated himself around and put his guard up. "If you are the prince, then fulfill your duties! Frieza is alive. Cold is alive. If you are destined to unshackle us from them. THEN, DO, IT!"

Vegeta spun in open air, aiming his face, and fists, towards the nearly grounded Nappa. He forced his aura to his feet, and charged downward.

Nappa rotated to have his back towards the ground, and prepared his guard. He couldn't dodge this, but he could spread the impact over his entire body. "Either you're the prince, and you'll fulfill your destiny, or you're not, and you won't. The potential is there, but unless you do it, then, you, are, NOTHING!" He shouted as Vegeta closed in on him.

Vegeta pulled back his right fist, preparing to strike. A dozen feet from Nappa he threw his aura forward, as well as his fist. His punch stopped an inch from Nappa's guard, but the air around him, and the pressure from his attack, carried on, slamming Nappa into the ground. When he bounced up, Vegeta spun and kicked him back into the snow. "What?" Vegeta demanded.

Nappa didn't get up, he stayed on the ground. "I am going into space. You were right when you said that no Saiyan will ever bow to an Arcosian ever again, but I intend to ensure the truth behind that statement."

Vegeta growled through gritted teeth. "What are you talking about?"

"If your destiny, as Prince of Saiyans, is to kill Frieza and topple the Cold Empire, then do it. If you want to retire, fade into obscurity, then do it. But, you can't have it both ways." Nappa finally stood.

"Who do you think you are, talking to me like you have been?" Vegeta crossed his arms, still hanging upside down in the air.

"I am a Saiyan." Nappa snapped to attention. "I am one of the few remaining of the strongest species in the universe. I am a proud warrior. I will not allow anyone, especially an Arcosian, to threaten me."

"And who do you think I am?" Vegeta asked coldly.

"You are Vegeta." Nappa said. "You were destined to free the Saiyans from Frieza and his clan."

"I asked who you think I am." Vegeta frowned. "Not who I was."

Nappa chewed his lip. "You." He began, before pausing to think again. "You, you are everything that a Saiyan is not."

"Speak quickly, before I kill you." Vegeta growled. "What do you mean?"

Nappa began to sweat as bruises formed where Vegeta struck him. "A Saiyan is proud, a Saiyan is strong, and a Saiyan doesn't settle or surrender. If a Saiyan does not get his way, he makes his own." He raised a finger at each point.

"You have nothing to be proud of." Nappa said. "You, as the Prince of Saiyans, attempted to kill who you thought were the last remaining members of our race. When someone was stronger than you, instead of becoming stronger yourself, you conceded that they were the destined Super Saiyan, not you." He lowered his pointer finger, before flipping his hand around, raising his pointer finger and thumb, and lowering his ring finger and pinky.

"I am not the strongest warrior." Nappa indicated himself with his three remaining raised fingers. "I am powerful though, and I'm only getting stronger. Kakarot and his son proved that Super Saiyan is achievable, for even a third class Saiyan. I am going to achieve that power. You? You accept that it isn't yours at the moment, and don't care to try to make it your own. It didn't fall into your lap, so you say it isn't yours to have." He lowered his thumb, holding two fingers up in Vegeta's face.

"I know I am not the strongest, but I don't claim to be, and never have." He again pointed the two fingers at himself. "You though, as soon as someone stronger than you shows up, you accept that. You roll over, and let someone else take the glory. I'd say you're second best, but right now? You're not even third. Kakarot, Gohan, and Turles, are all stronger than you, and you're okay with that? You're not going to try to change that? Since when does a Saiyan accept defeat, since when does a true Saiyan say something is unachievable?" He lowered his pointer finger, leaving only his middle up.

"Lastly." Nappa said. "And this is the most important one, so, listen clearly. Fuck you." He spat on the ground. "My family served you and yours, loyally, for generations. We all saw the writing on the wall, we knew our place, and we knew yours." He kept his finger raised. "You turned your back on us, on all Saiyans, the moment you considered Kakarot an enemy, or, even before that, the moment you considered Raditz as lesser. You may be our prince in title, but by your actions and mindset, you are no royalty, and you are no Saiyan." He lowered his finger and turned his back to Vegeta.

"I am going into space. I am going to be there when the Arcosian dogs who terrorized our entire existence are destroyed." Nappa began walking.

"You are no different than them, or me." Vegeta said. "Using your strength, or in your case the strength of others, to force your will on others? The only difference is what our will is."

Nappa looked over his shoulder. "I know." He said. "But I'm strong enough to admit I am not a good person. I have purged planets, performed numerous genocides, and bathed in the blood of the innocent. But." He continued. "I am trying." He said. "The old ways are done, gone, history, not going to return. To my last point, our way is not returning, so I'm making my own. This is a good planet, a good place to rebuild a Saiyan empire. Will it be the same? No. But will I be a pillar of our future civilization? Yes, I will. How about you, Vegeta?"
