Hi! Long time, no post. I know it's been like 10 years since Over Oceans was updated, but it's been heavy on my mind for a few months now. I posted on my Twitter asking how weird would it be to finish a fanfiction that's this old already and got some encouragement to finish it.
Unfortunately, finishing OO means a few things for me.
The whole story needs to be brought up to current times.
The characters need to be aged up. I'm 28 now, not 18.
My writing has changed and matured so the story needs to reflect that.
FFN has housed my stories for a long time, but I am moving Over Oceans and future fanfictions to Wattpad (and possibly AO3).
I hope this doesn't deter you from journeying back into Over Oceans with me. The story is near and dear to my heart as it's based on true events. And don't worry, it does have an ending this time. The main premise is still the same, but I think you'll all enjoy it much more once you see how it's turning out.
