He can't breathe.
But that's okay, because he doesn't have to.
He has to join her soon â she has stopped moving, has closed her eyes and rests against him, with a soft smile on her face. A ways away he smells Tsume, coming nearer.
He will die soon, but it's okay. He shouldn't leave her waiting long. After all, he loves her. He doesn't want her to be alone.
Ah, there's Tsume, as expected.
It is taking too long, so he asks Tsume to quicken it. Almost begs.
"Let's meet again in Paradise."
His last, fleeting thought is whether they will meet again â perhaps Paradise is the same as heaven, and he knows that Tsume, too, will die.
There is white, and suddenly the world is a blur, and he cannot see. And just for one moment, he holds her, and kisses her, and suddenly she is pulled away, far away, and he can't see her, or anything else, for that matter, and then it is black.
He is back in a city, an unfamiliar place, and he only thinks one thing, one line filled with despair â
She is not with him.
He cannot find her anymore.
End-----
âĶI really like writing sad things.
