Next week Danny wakes up from his sleep by his alarm on his phone. He gets up to do his daily routine by brushing his teeth, putting on his clothes, and when he tries to brush his hair, he suddenly changes into his demon form.
"God dammit I thought I got that under control," Danny thought. He quickly changed back to his human form.
Danny finishes his routine. He heads downstairs and goes into the kitchen to see his parents there. His dad Jack Fenton was wearing an orange jumpsuit reading the morning newspaper at the kitchen table, while his mom Maddie Fenton was wearing a blue jumpsuit putting bread into the toaster.
His mom sees him walking into the kitchen "good morning Danny how was your sleep?"
"Good," said Danny seats at the kitchen table
Jack put down the newspaper "so Danny how is your new job you've been quite busy these past days?"
"It's going good," then he thought, "if your job is actually in hell."
"Good because when I was young I started working about your age and it first taught me about responsibility and hard work. Also does your workplace experience anything paranormal?"
"Nope everything is fine at work dad no ghosts at all."
Maddie came to Danny with a plate of eggs and bacon, placed it in front of him, and came into the conversation.
"I still don't like you working this early for your age and boss calling when ever you got free time," said Maddie
"Let's just say my boss is a bold person when it comes to his business," Danny begins to eat.
"Well I don't want your new job affecting your school and personal life."
"If she only knew," Danny thought.
Then Danny's sister Jazz comes downstairs and sits at the kitchen table, and Maddie also gives her the same thing she gave Danny.
"So Jazz, do you have any plans for the day?" said Jack
"Probably study up on my reading test for tomorrow after school," said Jazz
"That's like to here," Jack goes back to his newspaper
"Do you have any plans for Danny?"
"Nope," said Danny, who thought, "if Blitz doesn't call me."
"Well I hope both of you have a good day at school," said Maddie
"School a place that makes hell seem nicer somehow," Danny thought
A few hours later, at Danny's school, Casper high school after half of the day of school work, tests, and school bullies. It's lunchtime. Danny is at a lunch table with his two best friends Sam a goth girl and Tucker a wannabe lady's man chatting up after eating cafeteria food.
"Have you guys seen the movie trailer for Kid Hell?" said Tucker
"Yeah that movie looks badass and I love the gothic theme to it," said Sam
"Kinda," said Danny
"We should go check out the movie after school," said Tucker
"I'm up for it, Danny?" said Sam
"No thanks I whether see something else," said Danny
"Why don't you want to see Kid Hell?"
"I'm kinda not into demon related things anymore."
"Yeah you stop playing Doom," Tucker pitches in
"Well I'm over with that game." Then Danny's phone buzzed. He pulled out a red and black phone and looked at it to see it was nonfiction for one of his apps. He noticed Tucker looking at it "what?"
"Dude I have never seen a phone like that where did you get?" said Tucker
"From my job." Danny put away his phone
"Speaking about your job what do you even do at your job?" said Sam
"Just filing papers and taking care of a few things around the workplace."
"And you get a cool phone like that, are they hiring?" Tucker made an eager grin
"Nope, they are not hiring anymore."
Tucker, stop grinning "damn."
"Anyway I guess we can find something at the movie other then Kid Hell," said Sam
"Thanks," said Danny
The three continued to chat until lunch was over, and they headed off to their class. Later, after school, the trio heads off to the movie theater, but Danny's phone starts to ring, and he sees Blitzo is calling him.
Danny tells Sam and Tucker, "I have taken this, it's my boss."
"Okay," said Sam
Danny walks a few feet away from his friends and answers the call, "yeah Blitz,."
"Danny we got job get your ass over here we need you for this." said Blitzo at the other end of the phone
"What's the job?"
"It involves some rednecks out in the backwoods of the midwest who have a bunch of pet grizzly bears."
"Thrilling."
"So here up and find a spot so I get you here."
"Got it." Danny hangs up and turns to his friends "sorry I have to go to work."
"Really just like that," said Sam
"Yep my boss got this special assignment and I'm needed for."
"Can he do it without you?"
"No I'm sorry I have to go, I'll try make this up to you guys see ya later," Danny walks off from his friend.
"I hate his job."
"Relax Sam," said Tucker
"Relax? Tucker ever since he started working for this job he spends less time with us."
"Look I'm sure Danny doesn't like this any better than you but we just have to be more patient."
"Whatever."
"Besides, if Danny 's job gets him that cool phone it can't be all that bad."
Danny finds a back alley with no witnesses. Danny changes into his demon form and makes a call to Blitzo and Portal appears right in front of Danny. He steps in and arrives at I.M.P. to see Millie holding a battle-ax, Moxxie holding a sniper rifle, and Blitzo holding a rocket launcher and the book.
"Took you long enough," said Blitzo
"Why do you have a rocket launcher Blitz?" said Danny
"Because I'm not going to let some fucking bears bite chunk of my sweet ass."
"I still think the rocket launcher is too much sir," said Moxxie
"Please Moxx this fucking bad boy is going blow those bears and that redneck away."
"Ready Danny?" said Millie
"Ready I'll ever be," said Danny
"Great, let's take this shit on the road," Blitzo makes a portal, and everyone walks into the portal and closes.
At the end of the day return home after almost getting bitten by bears and seeing Blitzo blowing the target in his cabin home. Danny met his sister, who was coming down the stairs.
"Hey Danny where have you been?" said Jazz
"My job," said Danny
"Then how was work?"
The only thing Danny could say about today's work is "it was booming."
