Danny couldn't believe that one of the worst-case scenarios was now in his bedroom. The demon gave him the creeps, and he had no idea what to do without his parents discovering his secret.
"So, Danny, are you going to speak, or am I going to have to do all the talking, which I don't mind?" Alastor asked.
Danny quickly got out of his bed and changed into his demon. With his power on standby, he asked, "How did you get into my house?"
"I have my ways. Besides, we're not even in your room."
"Wait, what?"
"We're in your head. My boy just looked out of your window. "
Danny looked out the window to see nothing but stars and planets surrounding his home. Then Alastor pulled Danny aside and wrapped his arm around Danny's shoulder.
"Now, Danny, let's get down to business," said Alastor.
"And what would that be?" asked Danny.
"Making you into a far more powerful demon in hell, not as the devil and me, of course."
"But why? What's in this for you?"
"Boredom, that's why. See your mine side project while helping someone with their hotel whom you might meet. "
"Boredom. That's why you're in my head for your own personal entertainment."
"Fuck yeah."
Danny deadpanned, "You're insane."
"You don't know the half of it."
Danny got Alastor's arm off his shoulder and said, "Look, I don't think I need your help. I don't even know who you are."
"Investigate my past. I'm an open book, and besides, you do need my help since you've got one of the powers in your body since you came to hell."
"Wait, how did you know how I got into hell?"
"I'm a high-level demon, Danny. I would notice things, plus I looked into the memories and, woah, it's like a boring sitcom about half of your life. "
"This is just getting weirder and more messed up by the second," Danny thought.
"Yes, it is,"
"Let me guess you can read my mind as well."
"Right on the target."
Danny groaned. Not even he could think in his head without Alastor invading it. Alastor, meanwhile, enjoys this moment of Danny's expression and emotions.
Alastor got back to business. "Look, Danny, all I want to do is give you advice from time to time with the powers that are developing inside of you. Trust me, the power you get can be wicked. "
"Yeah, even if that's true, I don't trust you at all." Danny crossed his arms.
Alastor laughed, then said, "I already like this relationship. You have a backbone even if you are a clueless half-a-freak."
"Okay, are we done now because there is a lot to think about?"
"I do have one piece of advice to give you: give up your humanity. It would be a lot easier on the long road, especially with your new enemy Vlad."
"Not going to happen no matter what happens."
"Fine by me, but your suffering will be an added bonus for me." Before Alastor went away, he commented: "By the way, try not to let your sister get too close to your other half. It would be for both of you."
Alastor then left before Danny could say anything about the last comment.
"Whelp, I'll add this to the list of things I have to deal with in my life," Danny thought.
...
The next day in hell, Alastor stepped out of his room in the Hazbin Hotel with a wider grin after his conversation with Danny. He headed down to the restaurant part of the hotel to cook himself something to eat before reaching the kitchen. He got stopped by the princess of hell, Charlie, and her girlfriend, Vaggie.
"Um, Alastor, you seem a lot more upbeat this morning," Charlie observed.
"Actually, for the past few days, what's up?" said Vaggie.
"Oh, let's just say I found myself a future apprentice," said Alastor.
"Apprentice?"
"That sounds nice. I hope what's your apprentice name?" Charlie said
Alastor said to them, "I can't give you guys my future apprentice's name yet, but you will probably meet him before you know it," He moved past them, walking to the kitchen.
"Man, whoever his future apprentice is, is either sick and crazy like him or one poor sob," said Vaggie.
"Vaggie, I'm sure whoever Alastor's future apprentice is, I'm sure they're not as bad as they seem," said Charlie.
"I hope I'm right because I don't like the thought of two Alastors."
...
At Casper High, Danny was at the school researching Alastor, trying to find out who exactly he was. Then he noticed Sam coming up to him.
"Hey Danny, what are you doing at the school library?" "Sam said
"Oh, I'm just researching someone for a school project," Danny lied.
"Who are you researching?"
"A guy named Alastor."
Danny typed up the name Alastor, and a few websites popped up about an old serial killer in New Orleans, and he clicked on one of the websites. It showed an article about the serial killer and theories about the story. Danny reads the article.
"In the early 1930s, there was a series of killings and cannibalistic behavior in New Orleans. The police couldn't find any links to these crimes until an unknown source showed the police the dead body of a popular radio DJ, Alastor. He died from a headshot wound and multiple dog bites on his body. The police found multiple missionary bodies near his radio station and some body parts in the basement freezer.
Many were shocked by the news, while others at the time believed Alastor had committed the crime since he was too happy to report it on his radio station. Even after his death, some parts of New Orleans still talk about the infamous killer, and they hope nothing is going to happen again."
Sam read the article and said to Danny, "Man, what type of paper are you writing about this sicko?"
"Something that's a page burner, I guess," said Danny, who then thought, "Great, now I'm going to have a serial killer demon going in and out of my head."
"I hope you do a good job on it and maybe try not to get too much into the details. I've got to go."
"See you later, Sam."
Later in the day, Danny was on his way home with many things on his mind. He was hoping that something good would brighten up his day. Instead, another problem came when a small pebble was thrown at the side of his head. Danny looked to see something behind a dumpster. He went to the dumpster, and to his surprise, it was former CHERUB angles that had seen better days with their clothes torn, and they looked dirty.
"Thank goodness, we finally found you, demon," Collin said.
"I have no idea what you three are talking about," said Danny, not wanting anything to do with them.
"We don't have time for this? We need your help, please," said Keenie.
"We could sense some good in you even though you have some demons in you," said Cletus.
"And what do you need my help for?" said Danny.
"We're being hunted, and you're next on whatever that robot list is." said Collin.
The only thing Danny thought was, "This just isn't my day."
(Author's note: I swear this was the last dickish movie cliffhanger. I hope.)
