Baby
My heart beats slow and rhythmic, standing next to baby. He touches my hand momentarily, and sends a shiver up my spine.
My heart beats normal, standing next to baby. He squeezes my hand gently, and I give a delightful little shudder.
My heart beats accelerated only slightly, standing next to baby. He whispers soft tender words in my ear, I look at him lovingly.
My heart beats like drums, standing next to baby. He leans in and tells me he loves me. I say nothing. I've gone temporarily mute, and can't speak.
My heart beat slows, as I feel his lips on mine, standing next to baby. We break apart as I tell him four, sweet precious words.
"I love you to."
Okay, this was just a short one-shot I wrote while in Biology. Lol. I wrote it in like five minutes, so I know it's probably crap but review anyways! Lol.
