"Um, could you come here for a moment?" asked the boy, running a hand through his hair. "I need to talk to you."
"Sure." Said the girl getting up from here spot at the table.
The boy took her small hand and pulled her outside.
"What did you need?" she asked.
"Well, see, I, uh…."
"What?"
"Well, I was wondering, would you consider going on a date with me?" he inquired.
"What? What about Paulina?" the girl asked.
"Never mind Paulina! It's you I really like! Paulina is just a shallow little witch."
The girl looked down at their hands which had remained holding through the whole thing. You could tell she was thinking, most likely about his proposal. She looked up at the boy and gazed into his ocean colored eyes, running her thumb over his hand.
"I guess…" the girl said trailing off. She hoped he didn't see her happiness. She'd been waiting for this moment for her whole life.
"Thanks!" said the boy leaning over to give the girl a quick kiss on the cheek before running back in.
The girl raised her hand to her face where his lips had touched her skin.
"Anytime Dash…" she muttered.
Inside…
An boy with black hair ran up to Dash.
"What did she say?" he asked.
"She said yes…" Dash said in a daze.
"Sweet!" the other boy responded slapping Dash on the back. "You got a date with Star!" and with that, he ran off.
"Yeah… Star…" Dash muttered and smiled to himself. Star. He had a date with Star.
Ok, I couldn't help it! I thought it was funny… In a weird way… Anywho, review please!
