After a commercial break, Mike is still looking for Zoey, but falls onto a grave and transforms into his Vito personality.
"Oh boy," Mike said. "Here we go with that again."
"How long does this go on for?" Dawn asked.
"A few more episodes," Zoey answered. "But this isn't the highest point of that love triangle, yet."
Anne Maria: Oh my gosh, Mike! I think I found the clue. Woah! June 6, 1806. I'm no algebra expert, but isn't that 6, 6, 18, 6?
"It is!" Cameron exclaimed. "Way to go Anne Maria."
Cameron gave her a high 5. The others clapped it up for her.
"Thanks," Anne Maria said. "I just wish I was as good at algebra as Cameron."
"You didn't need algebra skills to solve that puzzle," Mike said.
"That was brilliant," Jo said. "Glad you were on my team."
She gave Anne Maria a hug.
"Thanks," Anne Maria said.
Vito: Where's the freaking sun? How's a guy supposed to get a tan over here?
Everyone couldn't help but giggle a little.
"Okay, Mike," Sam said. "I know your personalities are a handful."
"But sometimes, they crack us up," Scott said.
"Sometimes being the key word," Cameron added.
"I agree," Dakota commented.
Anne Maria: *Confessional* Whenever we're alone he drops the whole Mike act. It's cause he can't get enough of me and who can blame him? Check me out! The hair, the tan, look at me, I'm hot!
"Yeah!" Mike said. "Vito can't get enough of you, but I can.
"Says the one who's been having Zoey on his mind all night," Anne Maria said.
Dawn then commented, "she's been missing like a majority of the rest of us."
"Yeah," Zoey said. "There's still no sign of me, Brick, Dawn or Sam."
Cameron notices the keyhole and congratulates Anne Maria for finding it.
Anne Maria: Yeah, who's the sharpest tool on the Christmas Tree now?
"Great job, girl," Brick said. "I can see why a lot of people ended up liking you more than Lightning."
"Me too," Scott said. "I Still can't believe you didn't get invited back for the All Stars season."
"Yeah!" Zoey said. "That should've been you and Brick back with me, Jo and Mike instead of Sam and Lightning."
"Owen and Leshawna should've come back for the All Stars season as well," Jo said.
"Meanwhile, I now regret yelling at Anne Maria."
"Why Anne Maria?" Dawn asked.
Jo: Just use the key already!
Anne Maria: Yeesh, okay. Keep your sweatpants on.
"That's why," Jo said. "Not the coolest thing to yell out."
"You think?" everyone else asked her.
Jo knew she couldn't live it down as easily as back then.
"At least the challenge is almost over," she said.
The maggots opened the coffin to find flashlights and headed off to the final challenge, unbeknownst that Sam and Scott would follow them.
"I love our team," Anne Maria said.
"I agree," Zoey said.
"I just wish I knew what happened to you guys," Mike said. "It's really stressing me out now."
"No worries," Jo said. "The answer to what happened should be coming up any minute now."
"By the way," Scott said to Sam. "Animal noises?"
Sam: I was using animal signals to call you. Team maggot found the souvenirs in that tombstone over there.
Scott: Wow. Nice work.
Sam: be careful when you use the key cuz-
It was too late. The coffin opened, hitting Scott in the process.
Sam: Tried to warn you bro.
"Ooh!" Everyone winced.
"First me, then Scott?" Anne Maria asked. "Why didn't Chris say the coffins open towards the key holder?"
"Yeah," Scott said. "That really hurt."
"That Chris has no regard for anyone's safety," Cameron said.
"I'm thinking maybe signing up was a bad idea," Dakota said.
"Me too," Brick said
Chris: Welcome to your final destination! The clue is just inside the entrance… and down the tunnel of darkness.
"Oh boy," Brick said. "Looks like the Maggots are gonna win 4 times in a row," Cameron said.
"I wouldn't be too sure," Dawn said. "Remember the penalty?"
Cameron slapped his hand on his forehead.
"Forgot about that," he said.
"It was 4 against 2," Jo said. "The maggots still had a chance."
"Have fun trying your luck in that cave," Dakota said.
Cameron then notices Anne Maria and Mike are missing. He goes off to find them while Jo enters the cave.
"Where did you 2 run off to?" Sam asked.
"Probably to make out some more," Cameron said. "I had a feeling Mike's other personalities would cause another Total Drama love triangle."
"At least many liked this one more than the one between Gwen, Courtney and Duncan," Zoey said.
"You think those 3 made up?" Sam asked.
"Duncan went back to jail for blowing up Chris McClean's property," Scott said.
Jo: It's so hard to find good help nowadays, and here's the clue. By hook or by crook, the end is near if you look.
She asks herself if William Shakespeare wrote the clues, but gets captured before finishing the question.
"Great," Jo said. "Now I've been captured. Probably sent to wherever you guys went."
"That's just great," Scott said. "Now it's 3 against 2."
"Did William Shakespeare actually write the clues?" Dawn asked.
"That's what I wanted to know," Jo answered.
Cameron: Come on. Jo and me found out where to go next. Guys? Come on. That's not what Chris meant when he said stick together.
"Really?" Scott asked. "You know he's one of Mike's alter egos, right?"
"I do, now," Anne Maria said. "Something tells me this love triangle is gonna be weirder than the one between Gwen, Duncan and Courtney," Dawn commented.
"I agree," Dakota said. "I feel weirded out just looking back at it."
Back in the cave, Jo's flashlight is found, sending Cameron into a panic, but Anne Maria and Vito ignore him as they still are kissing, prompting Cameron to yell at them to focus.
"How long were you going to keep kissing Vito?" Cameron asked.
"That wasn't helping poof head," Jo commented.
"Can you blame me for loving him?" Anne Maria asked. "He's just as hot as I am."
"We can see that," Dawn said. "But you're distracting yourself from the game thanks to him."
Cameron: *Confessional* Woah, I've never actually raised my voice before. Wow, it actually felt kind of good! (vomits into the toilet)
"I was okay," Cameron said. "At least I had to do it only once in that episode."
"Seeing you puke like that makes a few of us sick," Dakota said. "And I wasn't even participating."
The remaining 3 players find the last clue, but Cameron gets caught and thrown to the web, which has all the other captured players.
"So that's where everyone disappeared to," Cameron answered.
Jo: Who landed in the web now? Tan job? Couch potato? Freckle face? Come on! Don't leave me hanging.
Everyone else pointed at Cameron.
"It was freckle face," Zoey answered.
"What is it with you and the nicknames, anyway?" Sam asked.
Mike then commented, "I agree. Meanwhile, I'm just glad Zoey's okay. That gave me quite a scare."
"Who's in that web making spider costume anyway?" Anne Maria asked.
Cameron: It's just me string bean.
Jo: Wow, you lasted longer than I expected.
Cameron: *Confessional* That's the nicest thing Jo has ever said to me! Hey, I'll take what I can get!
"Guess I can be a little sweet sometimes," Jo answered. "Just wish I got to show more of it."
"I agree," Mike said. "You and Brick would've been way better in the All Stars season than Sam and Lightning."
"Actually," Jo said. "I was one of those who returned that season, but got the boot early."
"At least you got to be on it," Dawn said, now making a jealous face.
Sam and Scott then arrive to grab the hook, but Anne Maria trips Scott causing him to fall on top of Sam. The spider then shoots a web on the two of them, tying them together.
"Thanks so much," Scott said.
"That's for purposely trying to make us lose again," Anne Maria said.
"You sure had that coming," Brick said.
Anne Maria wants Vito to get the hooks and win for the team, so she makes a deal which involves kissing him again, which Zoey warns against.
"Whatever it takes to get him to participate," Anne Maria said.
"Vito was sure up for it now," Mike said.
"I'll say he was," Zoey said.
Vito: Yeah! Bada-bing baby!
Anne Maria: Sorry red. Looks like Vito's only interest in classy girls. *Belches*
Everyone, except Anne Maria, busted out laughing.
"Yeah," Sam said. "Classy."
"Well pardon my anatomy," Anne Maria said. "It must have been something I ate earlier that evening."
"Sure it was," Cameron said.
With the spider drawing closer, Cameron, fueled by adrenaline, breaks free from the web and attacks the mutant spider.
"You go Cameron!" Anne Maria cheered.
"Totally impressive," Brick said. "I wish I learned that during my military days."
"I just wanna know who was in that spider costume," Dawn commented.
"Me too," Dakota said.
Cameron: *Confessional* Ah, adrenaline! Nature's super strength formula. Someone should really bottle it.
"I agree," Dakota said.
"I'm not sure if drinking adrenaline is good," Sam commented.
"Me neither," Anne Maria commented. "I would vomit if that was me drinking it."
As the challenge continues, Mike turns into Svetlana in an attempt to free the contestants, knocking Brick free of the web first.
"Yes!" Brick cheered. "If Svetlana ever returns, I owe that gymnast a big thanks."
"I can see why," Mike commented.
Zoey: Oh Mike! How did you do that? That was amazing!
Svetlana: Yes, I know this. Why do these ropes feel sticky?
"Why do I always forget about your alter personalities?" Zoey asked.
"It's alright," Mike told her. "My alter personalities do always get in the way at the craziest of times."
"Everyone can see why," Sam commented.
"It's true," Scott said. "I'm just glad they're not a part of him anymore."
"Me too," Sam said. "It was a doozy."
Brick, now free, wants to help free the others, but Jo tells him to instead take the hooks and finish the challenge.
"Did you forget what Brick's code was?" Anne Maria asked.
"Yeah!" Brick commented. "Teammates stick together."
"You were given an order," Jo reminded him.
"Real smooth, Jo," Dawn said.
"Thanks," Jo commented.
Brick ziplines down to the finish line with Sam and Scott behind. All 3 made it.
"Great job," Dawn said.
"Thanks," Sam commented. "But there's one thing missing."
Chris: Well, both teams made it to the finish line. Some wetter than others.
"No kidding," Brick said.
"We know," Scott said. "I knew I smelled that wet stuff."
Brick: Hey, that cave was leaky.
Chris: Whatever. Today's winning team is The Rats.
Sam and Scott gave each other a high 5.
"Yeah!" Sam said.
"Victory!" Scott said.
"Congratulations on the win," Brick said. "Even though I did arrive first."
"Well done," Anne Maria said.
Chris: Remember when I said stick together cuz there'd be a penalty for each team member you lost? Yeah, you lost 5. Sam only lost 2, so the rats totally win.
"I knew there was a reason for rescuing you first," Brick said.
"I can't believe that being in that web made us forget that penalty," Jo angrily commented. "We all did," Mike said.
"I didn't," Sam said. "I warned everyone on my team about it."
"Sorry for not listening," Scott said.
"Maybe next time, you'll think twice before doing that," Sam commented.
Back in the cave, the remaining contestants, now free from the web, notice that the mutant spider was actually former contestant, Izzy, in a mechanical suit.
Everyone's jaws fell open.
"It was Izzy the whole time?" Anne Maria asked.
"Thanks a lot, Chris," Jo said. "You let a former contestant give us a fright."
"And I thought I had the biggest scare," Brick commented.
Cameron: *Confessional* Turns out it was just one of the old cast members in a spider costume. Thankfully it cured me of my arachnophobia . . . although I am now completely terrified of Izzy.
"And still are?" Sam asked.
"Not really," Cameron answered. "I hear 2 of those from the ridonculous race, along with another newcomer, are a lot scarier."
"We've all seen scarier things than Izzy," Dakota said.
At the elimination ceremony, after briefly taunting the maggots, Brick wanted out of the game.
Brick: permission to speak? I volunteer for elimination. I do not deserve to stay. I didn't follow my own code.
Jo: No kidding sir leaks a lot.
"I still wanna know what's with you and the nicknames," Sam said.
"Me too," Anne Maria commented.
"Alright," Jo answered. "I'll tell you in a bit. Sorry about forgetting your code, Brick."
She wrapped Brick in a tight hug.
"It's alright," Brick said. "It's why codes like that must be taken seriously."
"I can see why," Jo said.
Brick: So I'm afraid of the dark. That's what night vision goggles are for. You'd never make it in my squadron.
Chris: At ease soldier. Tonight's eliminated maggot is tomorrow's new rat.
"What?" everyone asked. Brick: I'm not taking the hurl of shame?
"So Brick's still in the game?" Zoey asked.
"Yes!" Brick said. "I live to see another day. Is it too late to regret saying that?"
Chris: Nope. From here on out, Brick and Jo will be fighting it out on opposite teams.
"This ought to be good," Anne Maria said.
"I wonder where that will lead?" Dawn asked.
"Just like before, I find it lame," Jo commented.
"Of course you would," Sam said.
Brick: Thank you sir. I won't ignore the code again, sir.
As for Chris, he puts Dakota in the Hurl of Shame and sends her off once again.
Chris: Better. Wanna know who I'm gonna catapult off the island next? You'll have to come back to find out right here on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island.
"That's episode 4," Anne Maria said.
"Who knew looking back at all that could bring so much regret?" Jo commented.
"I know," Brick said. "I told you following my cadet code was a better idea."
"But that spider?" Cameron added. "Glad I'm not afraid of those anymore."
That was when the doorbell rang.
"That must be the pizza I ordered," Anne Maria said.
It was. However, along with the pizza, stood former Total Drama contestants: Gwen, Lindsay, Courtney, Beth, Trent, Justin, Cody and Harold.
"Hey guys," Anne Maria said. "Come on in out of the cold."
Everyone entered. The others became thrilled to see who it was.
"Nice to meet you again," Dakota said.
Hugs and high 5s were flying everywhere.
"Nice to know you're no mutant freak anymore," Gwen said.
"I know," Dakota said. "So what brings you over?"
Trent told them, "Anne Maria had pizza ordered, and we were by where the order went to."
Lindsay added, "we also came to visit you guys."
The gang from season 4 blushed.
"Well," Anne Maria said. "Let's go chow down on this stuff."
The others were in total agreement.
The first snack break is next. Don't miss it.
