Dynamight of the New World Part 1

Hakamada liked to begin his lunch with something he enjoyed. Coffee, a bagel, Fish, and peace and quiet.

KABOOM-SNIKT

Of course, since when has anything in the G5 marine base ever been quiet. The vice admiral sighed, while normally explosions and slashing sounds in a military complex would be of concern, he knew the sound of these ones well enough.

The sound of his latest problem child, a rookie Marine lieutenant by the name of Katsuki Bakugo. Continuing to eat his bagel, he waited for the inevitable of someone coming in through the door and calling his name.

"Vice-Admiral Hakamada!"

"Yes petty officer, what is it today.?"

"Captain Tashigi and the new transfer have gotten into another fight and are tearing up the main courtyard."

"I see, I will be down shortly."

With that Hakamada swiftly finished his meal, placed his Marine coat over his shoulders, adjusted his favorite pants-leg shirt and walked out of his cabin. His cabin was in the higher levels of G5 alongside Vice-Admiral Vergo which gave him a good view of the base, particularly the courtyard.

Said courtyard had seen much better days. The once pristine looking yard was now contained several new decorations such as slashes that cut into the ground, messily made holes that no doubt were created by explosions, the massive amount of rubble everywhere

And the small pond in the middle that no doubt was filled with NitroGlycerin. Thankfully no one was on the ground to accidentally step into those mine fields. Every other marine with a brain was inside, no doubt placing bets on the whole thing.

Besides, the reason for the mess was in the sky.

"YOU INSUBORDINATE, EGOMANIACAL, LOUDMOUTHED, ASSHOLE!"

"FUCK YOU FOUR EYES, THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR THINKING YOU ARE BETTER THAN ME! DIE!"

The two figures, a bluenet woman with glasses, a purple buttoned shirt and a marine coat over her shoulders, frantically moved through the air via stomping on the air itself evading propelled explosions. Each of these white hot globs of NitroGlycerin hitting neighboring buildings causing explosions on each impact. Not to be outdone, the woman known as Tashigi thrusted her sword, sending high pressurized cutting air at her opponent.

Her opponent and no doubt the reason for this conflict in the first place, was Katsuki Bakugo, eater of the Nitro-Nitro fruit. A spikey haired blond Marine Lieutenant wearing a black shirt, marine coat. Much like Tashigi, Bakugo was also evading these air projectiles, though not by the means of geppo. Rather his flight capabilities and change of direction was caused by an explosion on his palms, propelling him at high speeds though the air and away from the air slashing attacks. Said air projectiles, while not as damaging as the explosions, were still cutting up the buildings pretty well.

The fight between the two continued for a minute, each one staying out of eachothers melee range, opting to stay in the air and attack each other from range, waiting for the other to mess up and take advantage.

That advantage happened when Tashigi misjudged the trajectory of Bakugo's missile-like explosions, sloppily dodging one that got too close that necessitated she take an extra second to get her footing via a stabilized geppo. An advantage that Bakugo took.

"GOT YOU!" Thrusting his arms back, Bakugo summoned a large amount of the explosive chemical in his palms and with a flex of his hands, detonated them and sent his body straight at the marine captain.

Bakugo using his speed tackled Tashigi before creating another explosion to where he was flying to stop his advancement. Now having the captain in a grapple in the sky, Bakugo raised his hand upwards.

"DIE!" With a thunderous detonation, the recoile sent both Bakugo and Tashigi downwards to the courtyard, particularly in the same direction of the small pond that Hakamada no doubt figured was set up earlier for this exact moment. A moment that he decided he had to stop. Now.

"Enough." Thrusting his hands outward, Hakamada channeled his Cloth-Cloth Fruit and with a small movement of his fingers separated the two fighters and suspended them in the air. Tashigi gained her bearings and went slack in this predicament. Bakugo on the other hand was flailing until the very fibers of his clothing unraveled and wrapped him into a very tight cocoon.

Hakamada sighed. "Everyone can come out now, we have a courtyard to fix today before Vergo and our new Vice-Admiral comes back. Tashigi, please lead the efforts, I will have words with our troublemaker."
