Feelings pt. 1

"YOU WHORE!" Harumeg screamed as Uta kissed Izuku.
'Oh no, I thought harems were supposed to get along!' Yamato thought as Harumeg started to break her grip using sheer force of anger.
Izuku just did what came naturally and kissed her back, his brain on autopilot.
(earlier that day)
Uta hummed comfortably from her cushion as she lounged in the shade next to Harumeg. Neither girl said anything, they just enjoyed existing next to each other. Izuku used Black Whip to propel the raft towards the shore of the next island by replicating a propellor. Though if Harumeg had her way, he would have simply laid there with his head in her lap and enjoyed the sea air with them.
His head was still in her lap, a win for her, but he still insisted on getting to land again.
"I'm really impressed by this Izuku. I didn't know you could flatten Black Whip's tendrils." Yamato praised as she sat with her legs in the water.
Harumeg hummed in agreement as she ran a hair through Izuku's hair. She had been trying to get some actual romance into their relationship and she was overjoyed to have an intimate moment with him.
"I think we're closing in on the shore, we should get ready to dock," Yamato said as she rose from her seat.
Harumeg sighed and allowed Izuku to stand up. It was fun while it lasted.
"If I can get one wish" Izuku sang for them.
"If I can get one wish" Uta parroted with a smile.
"To come true right now, I want a pair of wings
Please grant me white wings"
"This is cute," Yamato giggled as she watched her best friend teach her newest gal pal a song from his homeland.
"...yeah," Harumeg agreed with a tiny frown.
Izuku had decided that a good way to bond with Uta was to share what little musical knowledge he had. She had immediately latched on and began singing with him. Yamato and Harumeg had tried for a bit, but couldn't keep up as Uta could.

Uta and Izuku continued to sing together as they walked down the street.
"Hey, Harumeg? I saw a bookstore over there. Do you want to check it out? It may have something on shipbuilding. Then we could get something to eat."
"Are you" Harumeg pulled her bangs back so Izuku could see her eyes light up. "Are you asking me on a date?"
Izuku flushed red but managed to keep eye contact. "I think I am... You have very pretty eyes," He added, which earned a smile and happy hum from the girl. Harumeg offered his hand to him expectantly.
'Holding hands!' Izuku and Uta thought in shock. As Uta quietly shook with jealousy, Izuku shyly took it and lead Harumeg to the store.
Uta felt her eye mist slightly but didn't let it show.
She felt Yamato place a hand on her shoulder. Even still she didn't let tears fall.
"So, I guess they're taking their betrothal more seriously."
"They were given this time to get to know each other."
Uta nodded mutely.
"Thanks for taking me here Izuku," Harumeg said as she picked up a heavy book on famous ships. "Where should we go after this?"
"Well... I saw a crepe stand ear-"
"I love Crepes?!"
Harumeg grabbed Izuku's hand again and led him to the counter to pay, plopped the money on the counter, and dragged him outside.
"What do you want to do, Uta? Harumeg's mom gave us some money to help us along and Izuku's turned in a few bounties so we can go shopping."
"..."
"Uta? Are you okay?"
Uta just remained silent and walked next to Yamato, eyes on the ground. deciding that a hung couldn't make things worse, Yamato gently wrapped an arm around Uta.
"If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine, but I'll be here while you're sad."
Uta remained sullen but gently snuggled into Yamato's side.
'Okay, I'm getting Crepes with Harumeg and it's nice. I always thought I would split a crepe on my first date, but splitting anything with a 235cm tall girl wouldn't leave much for me.' Izuku thought as he sat across from Harumeg who tried her best to eat civilly.
Yet she still got chocolate smeared on the side of her mouth.
Izuku grabbed a napkin with Black Whip and dabbed it away.
Harumeg hummed happily at the intimate gesture.
"What should we do after this?"
Harumeg looked thoughtful for a second. "As fun as this is, we should probably head back, I don't think the others actually understand how to function in the real world."
"Didn't you live in Tottoland your whole life?"
"Yeah," A few people began hurrying away at the confirmation, "But I actually did things to interact with others outside my family like go to a store."
"Good point."
Harumeg offered her hand to Izuku once more and he reached out for it.
As their skin touched, Izuku felt a spark.
"HEY!"
A very large marine was in front of them.
"I just... I never got to meet boys when I was on Elegia and now this really cool guy saves me from everything but he's already engaged! It hurts and it's confusing. I really wish that he would date me instead but I like Harumeg too much," Uta continued to vent to a nervous Yamato, who had no fucking idea what to say.
"Thanks for listening to me, Yamato. You're a good friend."
"Uh-huh. I don't know much about this myself if I'm honest. I never thought about boys before..."
"I know, but I like talking to you still."
Yamato simply smiled in response.
"Guys!"
Both turned to see Izuku carrying Harumeg bridal style. He wasn't even straining.
"Some pirate crew is attacking the town, we have to get to the raft!"
Gunfire rang through the air.
"What kind of ship is this? It's just a raft."
"Did someone think they could sail on this? It doesn't have a sail or motor."
"HEY!" A rock was launched with lethal force near one's head. An angry Yamato raised Takeru. "Hands off our ship!"
"Oh?" One of the armored pirates began to check out Yamato. "What do we ha-"
His intended sexist remark was cut off by Yamato blasting him with Conqueror's Haki. Izuku gently placed Harumeg down while Uta climbed off his back.
"Harumeg, I want you to look after Uta and the ship. I believe in you."
Any protest she had was silenced by the admission of faith.
"We'll be back soon!" Yamato and Izuku took off to help protect the town.
And left Uta and Harumeg alone.
