"I got in... I got in. I got in! Mom I did it!!" Izuku yelled in pure joy at finally taking the next step in achieving his dreams
"Izu I'm so proud of you sweetie!" Inko squealed before pulling him into a rib-crushing hug
They say for half an hour, just revelling in the joy of passing
"I'm gonna go make dinner, any special requests?" Inko said after a while
"Katsudon!" Izuku yelled almost before Inko even finished her sentence
After dinner Izuku sat in bed, feeling the joy of victory slowly calming down, before slowly falling in the realm of dreams
After a 2 week break before classes started, Izuku was preparing for school in the morning
"Mom where's my tie?!" He yelled frantically from his room
"On your chair sweetie, just like it was yesterday. Do you want me to help you tie it?" She responded after seeing him walk in with it barely staying around his neck
"...please"
After trying, and failing, to teach Izuku to tie his tie, it was time for him to leave
"You've got everything right? Your pencil case? Your notebooks? Your hanky? You've got your hanky right?" Inko worried patting down his clothes
"Yeah mom now I've got to go, I'll be late. Love you!" Izuku told her as he walked off
"Izuku sweetie wait!"
"What's up Mom? I'm gonna be late"
"I just wanted to say you look really cool sweetie"
Smiling slightly Izuku responded "Thanks Mom" before finally leaving
"1-A, 1-A, 1-A where are you?" Izuku muttered as he randomly wandered corridors
"Ah there it is. The doors huge, must be for people with size adapting quirks..." Izuku continued his muttering as he walked in...
And almost walked out again at the immediate sight in front of him
"You must take your feet off of the chair! It is disrespectful to our teachers, elders, and upperclassmen!" The boy with glasses and a stick up his ass yelled at a scarily familiar set of ashy blonde hair
"What you gonna do about it Four-Eyes!" Bakugou argued with his permanent scowl attached to, you guessed it, his face as per usual
'Of course I'm in their class, just my luck' Izuku thought before Glasses walked over whilst he wasn't paying attention
"Hello. My name is Tenya Iida. I would like to truly apologise for my behaviour at the entrance exam! Not only did I prejudge you and your abilities, but I insulted you too! I must congratulate you on your position at first place, and say you are clearly smarter than I for realising the true purpose of the exam!" Iida said without taking a breathe and bowing at what looked to be a perfect 90 degree angle
"Hey no problem man, just don't judge people and we're good. And what do you mean realise the hidden purpose?" Izuku responded with a friendly smile
"You are a good person. I mean the rescue points of course." Iida told him with an unnecessary amount of hand signs
"Oh yeah people just got into some bad spots so I helped them out. No mega genius move there, thanks though" Izuku said before a gasp came from behind him
"It's you! The greenie who saved me!" The girl he saved from the 0-Pointer said excitedly
"Gravity Girl?" Izuku asked as he heard the familiar voice
"That's me! Ochako Uraraka, what about you?" Uraraka asked politely
"Izuku Midoriya" Izuku replied in kind
That's when a bright pink girl with horns shrieked at something on the floor
"What the hell is that!" She screamed
It was a yellow thing that looked like a caterpillar, before the front of it zipped open and out popped a man with bigger eye bags than a panda, a scarf made out of a sturdy looking cloth and an overall disheveled look to him
It took 10 seconds for people to realise this was their teacher, and another 6 for them to settle down
"16 seconds to sit down ready for class... if your here to socialise then leave now" The man said in an almost bored tone
Nobody left, though several were now panicking slightly
"Good. My name is Aizawa. Now, take these, go get changed and meet me outside. You have 10 minutes." He explained after handing a large pile of P.E. Kits to a girl with a ponytail at the front.
10 minutes later, almost everyone was outside and talking to each other.
Until Aizawa spoke "Now, does everybody remember the apprehension tests from middle school, with long jumps and softball throws and the like? Good, now the problem with those is you can't go all out with your physical ability as quirks are banned. So now, I want you all to do a apprehension test with your quirks, and see your true limits."
At this there was a mixed result
"But what about the opening ceremony!?" Uraraka asked
"Do you ever see heroes fail to do their jobs because they have some boring formal thing to attend?" Aizawa snapped back
"This sounds so fun!" The pink girl from earlier yelled in excitement
"Fun? Do you think saving lives on the daily is fun? Do you think people attempting to do unspeakable things to others with only you to stop them is fun? Do you think natural disasters are fun? How about this, whoever performs the worst will be expelled. No second chances." Aizawa angrily said back
To a lot of protest might I add
"But we passed the entrance exam!"
"It's only our first day!"
"That's so unfair!"
"Is life fair? Because if you think it is you have a rough life ahead of you. It's my job to make sure your prepared for the cruelty and harshness of life." Aizawa argued back
"Midoriya, you placed first in the entrance exam?" Aizawa asked him, effectively shutting down all attempts to argue with him
"Yes sir" Izuku responded respectfully, as he knew that he didn't want to be on the bad side of his crazy home room teacher
"Throw this. Only rule is stay in the circle, other than that everything is allowed"
"Ok, no problem" Izuku took the ball and entered the circle, already brainstorming how to get the maximum distance
'I could just do a full power through with Flame Body, but that would be boring... what if I launched it normally with Flame Body and... that should work...' Izuku finally finished preparing his plan as he got to the center of the circle
"Flame Body, Full Throttle!" Izuku yelled as he was covered in emerald flames
He proceeded to launch the ball, before deactivating Flame Body and launching several fire blasts at the ball from behind, launching it even further
After a few seconds of waiting Aizawa read the score
"1002.5 meters" Aizawa read boredly
"Holy shit"
"This guys insane!"
As Izuku walked back to the group in burned clothes, he heard all the praise from his peers and blushed slightly
They then went through the rest of the tests, such as standing long jump, which Izuku crushes by launching himself over with a few blasts of fire, or the grip strength test which he could have scored high on without his quirk, until finally they reached the last test
"This last one is a new one to test your overall destructive power. We have a large amount of dummies which can take quite a bit of damage, only ever falling to a punch from All Might himself. We want to see how much damage you can do with your strongest attack against these dummies. If your attack is widespread, hit a few it doesn't matter as points are recorded based on the most damaged dummy in your group. Bakugou, your up first" Aizawa explained before the explosive psychopath walked up
"Finally something I'll destroy you all in." Bakugou said, grinning madly from ear to ear
He prepared his stance, and blasted off
"DIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!" he screamed as he launched himself full speed at his dummy and blasted the largest explosion Izuku had ever seen him use
The dummy now stood burned and almost destroyed
"50 points" Aizawa read from his device
"Hagakure, your turn" Aizawa stated, still bored as ever
"How the hell am I supposed to follow that?" She mourned as she got ready
She then sprinted up and delivered a strong kick directly where the dummy's no-no area would be
All the boys simultaneously winced, whilst Aizawa read the score
"10 points" Aizawa spoke
And it went like that for a while with people using a wide range of attacks and weird parts of their quirks
Until finally, the Pyrokinetic broccoli of destruction got his turn
"Midoriya" Aizawa said
Before he walked up, he decided something
"Yaoyorozu, do you think you could make some fire proof glass?" Izuku asked as he wanted everyone to watch safely
"No problem Midoriya" Yaoyorozu replied as she walked off to the side, and created the glass hidden by a wall of the female students
When the glass was set up so none of the fire could possibly get to anyone, Izuku got ready
'One for All, Full Power!' He yelled in his head as the fire started to lift him in the air like the entrance exam, and he felt the same feeling of unadulterated joy at using his quirks at full power
"SUNFIRE..." Izuku prepared his attack, creating a miniature sun in his hands
He waited for a few seconds for it to charge to a good amount, and by that he meant until his hands physically couldn't take the heat
"SMAAAASHHHHHH!!!" He released the ball at the dummy, causing a huge explosion and managed to make a mushroom cloud and shrouded everyone in dust
When it all cleared, they found Izuku crouched on the ground, clothes burned away as he breathed heavily trying to gain his energy from using an attack he made up on the spot
After the boys hid Midoriya, Yaoyorozu made him a new P.E kit, and they checked for the dummy.
"It was destroyed. points" Aizawa read as he managed to maintain his poker face, but if you looked closely you could see his eyes widened in shock by the smallest amount
"Destroyed?! He destroyed something All Might couldn't?! How?! Explain you useless Deku! In middle school your quirk was nothing!" Bakugou screamed in rage at being beat again, blasting towards Izuku in rage
That was until his quirk stopped mid-blast, and a cloth wrapped around him holding him down
"Bakugou another outburst like that and your expelled. Don't attack your classmates." Aizawa reprimanded, as the cogs started turning
"Here are your scores." Aizawa told them as he let Bakugou go
1st - Izuku Midoriya
2nd - Momo Yaoyorozu
3rd - Shoto Todoroki
4th - Katsuki Bakugou
...
19th - Minoru Mineta
20th - Toru Hagakure
Hagakure started wailing as she realised she had come last and couldn't do anything about it
"Well done, everyone who tried their hardest. Mineta your expelled, go to administration after school, and tell them your expelled. If you don't there will be worse consequences" Aizawa told Mineta suddenly
"What?! Why?! I didn't come last!" Mineta yelled in rage
"I know, Hagakure did, but unlike her you just joked around and barely tried. You said your quirk wasn't suited for anything but I heard some of Midoriya's mumbling and he came up with hundreds of applications for each test for your quirk that would have actually worked." Aizawa said angrily before addressing the rest of the class, leaving Mineta to sulk
"The rest of you go to class, gather your things and get your timetables off of my desk. See you all tomorrow, including you Hagakure you did your best." Aizawa said before he launched his scarf at a tree and used to to propel himself away to the classroom
'Today was a good first day' Izuku thought as he passed out in bed
"Izuku Midoriya, you must master your full power. Without it the world will fall. Master it, and you will discover the true enemy to your world..." A kind, caring voice appeared in his head as he drifted into sleep
